Months ago, Spidermen and Spiderwomen from across the multiverse banded together to stop the mutual threat of Morlun and the Inheritors. Spider UK [an alt universe Capt. Britain who took over for his Spiderman] was tasked with bringing a team of Spidermen together to take down the Inheritors, given a spider talisman to travel the multiverse by his superiors. After several dozen Spidermen of the multiverse were killed, the Inheritors were defeated and things would go back to the way they had seemed before with each of the Spidermen having knowledge of how big and complex the multiverse truly was. The talisman once given to Spider UK was then passed on to another, Spider Fist [an amalgam of Spiderman and Iron Fist], in case another situation threatening Spidermen and/or the multiverse arose.

After experimenting on the Multiple Man of that Earth, the Green Goblin [Norman Osborne] was able to duplicate the mutant's x-gene and has now replicated himself thousands of times. I know this doesn't seem like much of a threat to the multiverse, but the numbers the 'Goblin King' has amounted to has been enough to take over the entire North American continent. The Spiderman of 12814 is in over his head and the other heroes of the Earth have been taken down already. Unfortunately, you were one of the first Spidermen/women the talisman brought me to....

I'm treating this game like a direct sequel to the Spiderverse series currently running through all the Spiderman books. You can create your own Spiderman/woman, or put your own spin on an existing Spiderman like Spiderman Noir, a Spidergirl, or even a Scarlet Spider. I've created the Spider Fist NPC to act as the guide to all of the Spidermen. The above greeting from Spider Fist will work into your CS as you'll respond to this in-character so I can make sure we don't all have the same voice. Did I mention your Spiderman doesn't have to be Peter Parker? Spider Fist will go on to take the group to our base of operations. Located in the Negative Zone [because in all the multiverse there is still only one Negative Zone] will be the Spiders' Web created by the alternate Earth Spiderman who's still a member of the Future Foundation with Mr. Fantastic in his universe. Your basic run of the mill teched out HQ, just floating somewhere in the Negative Zone. It should be noted the Negative Zone prison of Earth 616 is also floating around in there somewhere. I smell a sequel to this game already LOL
I'm looking for a post a week from each player! If you go silent for over a week in both the OOC and IC after the IC is posted your character may be killed off.
