I'd kind of prefer just a blank map, to be honest.

I had thought some geography might be nice, I can maybe edit in a ice-bridge if you want.

The contrast on that map is a little high, it will make outlining borders against the background difficult and limit our color options. Any chance for something a bit darker?

@MarshallI was thinking non-political map, as nearly all nations are disbanded.

Personally I think it gives a better idea of where things are so people can get a sense of the distance between things.

I suppose it could be helpful to see old borders as guidelines for current nations, but perhaps we should keep both.

I think we are going to need a lot of maps for this and we should just use the one I have for the nation sheets, it'll be easier and we can use other maps when the need arises.

Agreed. It lacks elevation, but we only really need the map to know exactly where everyone is. Once everyone knows and wants to get a feel for the geography, they can just use google maps. >.> I'll begin by contributing my own nation location to it.

Well, the old map can actually still work. When saving it all you need to do is switch the file type to .png from its original format. Then, you can open paint or whatever you use to make a nation using the png file.
