I would love to see one take off. Have been in four the have gained interest bit died before even starting or within 20 posts. I will watch and hope and pray this one develops :)

I might be interested if there's a plot or goal to chase. I've found that these kinds of RPs die quickly without at least a little bit of structure just because there's so much that could be done at any time... So show me a VR world with a unified goal and I'm in! :)

Alright, so i realised something. I dont want this to be just how i want it, so.... does anyone have any interesting ideas for a goal?

I want to do a sword-art Online RP suuuper bad! But the idea I have is way after the fact of the original scenario. You know, how all immersive MMO's were linked? Each of us could be from a game, or two people from the same game. Alfheim, SAO, and a few others we've made up individually. The plot would be a Virus that takes shape of an enormous data-eating dungeon. The dangers of the virus would be leaving someone in a coma (unless we want to take a different route). Once a game is taken over completely, the virus-dungeon appears in a new MMO.

i see. So at first its not that big of a concern at first, starting off with small games, under the radar, with each game it consumes it gets harder and stronger, finally a crack team of the best go in to fight it...?

That sounds pretty cool to me, @Izuriel! And there's a solid end goal: Beat the virus dungeon. I didn't mean to say that it couldn't be more freeform @BrodZ11711. Sorry if that's what it sounded like or if I killed some excitement. I've just seen too many cool ideas kind of die out and I wanted whatever you had planned to be able to hold everyone's interest so it didn't die out! :)

new desk and perfect for gaming But that virus idea is actually quite a good one. maybe it changes the data of the entitys in some way like making them stronger with larger health bar's and increased strengths

I am a huge fan of the series, unfortunately I haven't had enough time to watch the newest portion. T.T I guess I'll fill that void by joining this wonderful RP. ^.^ The virus dungeon is a wonderful idea! Depending on how long-term you wanted this to be, I had a couple of things that came to mind while reading through this thread... One: A computer virus is something designed by someone right? Well, a very long-term goal could be to find out who created it. Another random idea: what if the origin was a new game that had a super AI running things(and got corrupted or something), so the key to beating the virus is shutting down that AI? Just some randomness to go with my interest. You don't have to pay any attention to it. XD
