Hm, I have quite a bit of experience with Endless Space. Think that qualifies me for something like this? Even if it looks like the Roving Clans are the only thing that don't have some sort of pre-claim. Not that I'm complaining

Certainly! I did my best to lay things out about the factions enough to give them their "feel" while keeping the environment open enough to allow freedom in making characters. So really, no experience in any of the Endless series is required.
