Because Marcus can nullify magic around him, which means you and I would have to stay back and used ranged attacks. We need someone who can move in and handle him." Hart crossed his arms and looked around the room, looking for a potential prospect.

Marcus gave a death stare at Tony. How come everyone needs to know his weakness. He'd throw Liz again if she wasn't mad at him. "What the f....heck man why do you have to give away my abilities!?!" Marcus asked stomping in Tony's direction. "You know what!?!!?!" He turns towards the students of the class and shouts. "Tony uses ancient magic!!!! And he's actually a smart ass!!!!" Marcus smiles widely and turns back towards Tony with his thumb up. "Friendship." He says with a devilish smile on his face.

Cornelia sighed at Meruin's response. Everyone else here was incompetent. She walked over to Marcus. She decided to join Deus's team just to annoy him, and if worst came to worst she could always kill him. All he knew about fighting was using his sword, he didn't have any powers back then. "Why Hello there, Mind if I join your team, I'm pretty good at fighting. So can I?" Cornelia was luaghing in the inside.

Tony sighed, "they already knew man. They watched our spar remember? Do you remember anything?" Hart was only slightly annoyed, it's not like they knew what kind of spells he possessed. Well, Meruin and that other Mage might know a little about it. "And hey what do you mean smartass? Doesn't that mean you're rude or something?" Tony's eyes glinted, he'd make sure to mess with Marcus later.

Marcus was about to comment on what Tony said but something interrupted him. He looked around trying to figure out were the voice was coming from and then he shaped his fingers and said. "Duh." Marcus looked down at Corneila and smiled. "Of course you can join are team little girl." He said ruffling her hair as if she was a little kid. Marcus didn't fell Deus's grip but he did hear him hit the wall. "You okay buddy?" He asked looking behind his shoulder towards Deus. Marcus didn't forget what Tony said. He'd have a few words for him when they get on the battle field.

His Aura was going wild, but only those whom could see the colors of Auras could tell. Once the fight starts, it would be dangerous to get near him. He walked up to Cornelia and looked at her straight in the eye with an pissed off face. You could feel the tension between these two. He looked at Tony. "Yeah Sorry, I did not remeber much of the Training, That's what happens when I use the sword though."

Cornelia thanked the man. Now her plan could go forward, she would need to know how much Deus improved over the years, and if she could waste her time killing him. A grin appeared on her face. 'I win!' Cornelia thought being as cocky as ever yet not underestimating her enemy.

Elza looked around panickedly for another vict- team mate. She needed somebody real quick although two somebodies would work just fine. "Team Awesome needs at least one more person!" She yelled and then sat back down grinning happily and still holding on to Agni to make sure he didn't escape. Elza had a feeling this was going to be a fun year.

Sol looked around somewhat irratatedly, it seemed that he wouldn't be needed for a while. He went outside and opened a large room of time dilation, the best way to spend training time was to make it last longer. Sol would need as much pratice as he could get if he was to be on par with some of the more advanced mages here.

Rayne had just arrived at the academy, she was a new transfer student coming to her first day at the Academy. She sighed as she made her way through the gates, leading onto the campus. "Another school that teaches me nothing." she muttered to herself. Rayne then pulled a back book from her bag that had ancient writing on it and began studying it as she made her way to the Academy's front door.

he chuckles "well a magical magic nullifying cloak is technically a contradiction, for it will nullify itself" he chuckles "but I can get one that's made so It wont, though I will warn you, it wont simply nullify every magic sent at you... it will only nullify anything that would affect you non physically.. such as a curse and so on, that's the entire purpose of it, can't really nullify a giant ball of fire, or the sharp blade of a magical sword" he states "are you sure this is what you want?" he asks.

Meruin smiled slightly. "If magic nullification was a problem to me, then I wouldn't be the third on the council." She wasn't boasting, rather, she was stating a fact. There were many ways to bypass a person who could nullify magic. She looked at Ryan.

"If you'll recall, Lady Chase was the master at destroying absolutely anything - including any form of attack. She and Master Reina taught me how to use my magic in combat, so do you think that they would avoid teaching me how to deal with someone who might be my straight counter?"

"I as well have devised a suitable counter to magical nullifications. It's secret lies within my Grimoire, and I have found it to be quite effective." He thought about The Justice Card and smiled. "We have room for one more member. I would personally suggest another council member so we are not burdened by protecting an inexperienced combatant." He gave his thoughts on the matter and looked around. "If we were to get a 'Shield' quote on quote, we would have the perfect lineup."
