Wait how wouldn't it work. Event Negation is the power to negate anything litteraly anything from Space-Time. Examlple: Cornelia can use Event Negation to prevent the Big Bang from ever happening. Now, you may think that's Op, but what's the point of an Bad Guy who gets beaten easily. Yes, I made Cornelia to be a villain for the Rp, But she will die later on, I mean, Villains always die, but it will be hard to kill her. Anyways, not trying to fight over this, just in case.

I'm scared of what Meruin is going to do now, litteraly.

DO NOT BE AFRAID, FOR I SHALL BRING HER TO JUSTICE.

Might as well explain.

The swords work by gathering different energies and then pilebunking them into one form. Now, the problem here is that the source and purposes for the energies are different and thus have a little of what they used to be engraved in them - not enough to reproduce the full effects of the parent spell, but enough to remember where it came from and develop an immunity to via inherent recognition of a spell.

In short words, for everyone that ever released a spell or ki blast in this fight, the swords have become immune to each and every one of your spells. How? The moment you use a spell on it, it breaks itself apart until it has a signature that can match the spell, fuses with it from there, then overloads it from the inside until it's completely broken down - this process takes less than a second. Even Event Negation requires some form of recognition from the spell caster, otherwise it wouldn't even be useable, so naturally it falls under the domain of 'immune against'.

The only way for the swords anti-whatever system to fail is if it encounters something that has no connection whatsover to what it absorbed, but even then it still has a sh!t-ton of power behind it.

Yeah, sounds a little OP, but you gave Meruin more than half a hundred posts to prepare for it, what did you expect? :D

Anyway, it does have a drawback: they can't move farther than 7 meters away from Meruin, and as powerful as they are, there are only 7 of them.

EDIT: TL;DR - They are antibacteria for everyone that contributed to its making.

@TheHangedMan
So since they can't move too far away that means that Eris is safe from them and can continue to bombard everything in sight

@The ghost in black Actually . . . that is a viable solution. Just do it from multiple angles and put a lot of power into them. Oh, and get more people.

Ahh, Since I only used Event Negation on the things and nothing else, then the rest of my attacks should work on them correct? For Example: Kusanagi, and Aura Manipulation etc since I never used it on them correct?

@BranchOfSin Er . . . um . . . actually, its immune to ALL spells that come from a contributing caster. I think @The ghost in black got what I meant. If I had to put a suggestion, the spell cancellation only works on contact with the swords. You can see where I'm going with this right?

Then I have to rely on Cornelia since she never attacked the things. Got it now. I have a plan... Might not make sense, but it will in some time.

@BranchOfSin Go ahead! Though Cornelia did use a few spells . . . really though, this is a team fight, team it up a little!

*coughhyporcritecough*

@Zetsuko Possible, but highly doubtful. At best, you'll be engaging in a long and tiring struggle with Meruin to get them completely under your control, which she will then dismiss, at worst, itthey will blow up on your face.

@BranchOfSin Needs moar shades . . . I have no idea how to do those text pictures xD
@Zetsuko True, but control and precision are Meruin's forte as well. Notice how she isn't even tired firing one spell after another? That has something to do with that.

@The ghost in black Ah, actually, tha could work. The other guys swords are powerful, but so are Meruins, but if Eris is focused on specifically disrupting spells . . . yeah, that has a high chance of working.
