In the metropolis of New light, there lies a terrible secret that nobody knows about. The brightest of lights cast the longest of shadows.
In the darkest parts of the city where nobody looks there lay beings that cause madness and fear. The Shadows. Beings that humanity denies existing, they cause pain. Both inner and outer pain. An encounter with these beings even just hearing their whispers drives a person insane. Except a group of youths. Who will encounter these beings, and will be sane. Not only sane, but a way to fight back against these shadows. With the powers of the Persona. A Mental mask all humans wear to keep themselves safe, but to the youths they shall be tangible and be their sword and shield against the shadows.

Personality: Some would call him apathetic, which he is not, quite the opposite really. He suffers from Social Anxiety Disorder, which is sometimes mild others severe. At long stretches of time, he gets burnout and becomes apathetic for awhile until he recovers some of his emotional energy back in which he regrets being apathetic and worries about everything all over again. And it keeps repeating over and over again. He's stuck in a cycle of Anxiety and Apathy.
The few times he's lucid he a pretty fun person to be with. He loves to tell stories and loves to play music, but these skills have been hidden to his worries of being mocked for them.
History: Conrad's mother walked out of the relationship with his father after his birth. His father told Conrad she left because she was sick and couldn't care for Conrad in a way that was healthy, Conrad always took that excuse as a lie, and he always felt like she left because he wasn't worth her time. Even from a young time he was muddled by self-doubt and anxiety. But for a time it was pushed back to be trying act like a normal child and had an easier life from stress even with the missing mother figure in his life.
He taught himself how to play the flute and violin. He had to teach himself since him and his father always had money issues and his father could only afford him the instruments but never a tutor. He was talented in the fields of music. During high school he took up writing as a hobby, he was decent at it. He was also decent at school. He could never make friends for long since they all found him annoying and needy. But he always acts like it was no big deal, but it was, his father could see that. His late high school years were harder due to the random hours he stayed awake and fell asleep at. His anxiety started to show up more often, as he often had mini panic attacks during tests and finals, he feared he would be mocked whenever he panicked so he hid himself away from the rest of the class more and more. He eventually just became part of the scenery in the classes he was in.
He graduated High school with modest grades and no achievements. He wanted to go to college but due to his family less than ideal income he had to take a job to pay for his entry. He got a job at the library as a secretary and occasional cleaner. It took him four years working there to pay for his school books and his entry.
It would've taken him two years to get the money, but he took many days off and used some of his money for anxiety medication and therapy. It helped for the other two years. But when he enters College he decided to stop using meds and stopped going to therapy. Believing he was cured of his anxiety. He will start school in the next semester for now he's making extra money for other things.
he hopes his college days will be better than his High school days.
