Of course. However, it will take some time, so if it seems like I'm not doing anything, I am actually writing a very in-depth explanation of magic, the laws concerning it, and so on. Hopefully I can avoid math '>.>
If you post it in a google doc/pirate pad, you could get some peer review.
I could, but I'll pass on that. Thank you, though.

Currently working on the magic. Expect something to show up later on tonight or tomorrow. (I also have real life things to attend to). I may have to post the Magic-stuff in parts, sadly. That way you're not waiting for a long time for it.

@DAWNSTAR, it's yours! @Guilty Spark, I think we will all try to see to that :) What would you like to do? @Grey Star, the Elves are yours, if you want them! @Voltus_Ventus, looks great! What do the rest of you think? @Sessamaru, "in parts" sounds just fine! By the way, check out the thread!

Vampires will draw their magic from their Spirit, or their Vitae, Mana rarely, but it's all Vitae, @Sessamaru I'll discuss this with you and tell you the properties and mechanics of Vitae if that's alright. So I'm in charge of Demons and the Underworld then, eh? Ufufufu~! I won't let you down, then! Do I just post everything here or send you a PM? I'll get to work on writing a bit of basic Lore as to the differences between Hell and the Underworld. Is it alright if I also work on Lore and Youkai oh and Dragons and Draconics!

Magic might not even need mana to cast, if that's how Sessamaru wants it. You two work that out! Remember to compromise and respect each other! I'm happy if you are, and I trust you'll do a good job! WIP posts goes into the Character section in the game thread :)

I'm personally a classical magic person, so I really think that magic should be derived from Mana and mana syphoned from the Aether and the Aether made up of the collective thoughts and quintessential fundaments of the existence of everything and nothing.

I always classify magic as totally seperate and mana-based from stuff like Psionics. ... Honestly, psychic powers and espers always seemed kind of out of place in Fantasy to me. ^^; Unless it's, say, science fantasy or something like Raildex, which is a very specific type of Urban Fantasy. Also spirit/chi seemed to be something else most of the time to me too. ^^;

Magic, as I have it, is drawn from the "Nexus" also known as the "Heart of Magic," the rawest, purest form of mana, chi/ki, life energy, and so on. So you all don't have to worry about it, honestly. I have created the "Nexus" as a close-knit network that exists in every living (and non-living) creature. Coincidentally, the Nexus has many other names, such as mana, chi/ki, and such. I will explain this in detail, as well. They have the same principles: Concentration, imagery, and molding. If anyone has any questions, please ask and I'll explain it further. Edit: For now, I'll be running some errands. I'll be back in a little while to answer said questions.

Let me be more specific as to what I think should be in each group, just a suggestion. Mana = Magicks Vitae = Magicks Spirit = Magicks/Spirit Powers/Abilities Psionic = Mental Powers/Prowess (Telekinesis, Telepathy, etc. Can cross over with Mana, Vitae, and Spirit) Chi = Able to control literal energy, one with yourself, etc.

If you put someones name in brackets with the @ symbol you can tag them, it'll send an alert. And that's alright, you guys seem to have a pretty thorough teem already so I'll leave you to it.

This is how I classify them (though Vitae is a new one for me). However, I will explain the mechanics thoroughly. It should be agreeable, in the end. Just be patient as I write about the Nexus (it'll appear like an essay). Give me a couple of hours.

The map is better than anything I could ever make. And now it gives me an image of the flora I need to make. Fauna will come after the flora. Also, I will probably get to making a chat room for discussion on the Flora and Fauna of the world so that I can get everybody's input on the creations. But first, to making plants!

Vitae is a True/Born Vampire's Spirit (you could "trap" their spirit somehow and imbue it in a necklace or amulet to be immune to magicks from Mana.) Keep in mind only True/Born Vampires have Vitae, it's another "layer" of magic. Thing is, it can negate Magic from Mana overall as it's anti-magical to it in that sense, you'd have to use Chi, Vitae, Aura (forgot about this one), or Spirit Power. Psionic Powers are useless to use on them directly, as True/Born Vampires have no organs...I'll reveal about an essay worth of description on vampires and Vitae.

Wunderbar! I think we can help each other out with our essays, then. I'll use it as a citation for my "Grimoire."

I fail epically, lmao. I'm sorry. I only know the word Wunderbar as I know a friend who uses that as an alias. I am so sorry. Anyway, how could we help each other?
