This year was the same as every other year at Supernatural Academy, just the same. The beginning of the year party was in full swing, and, as per usual, the dance floor was empty as the music played, and all of the cliques were scattered about the large room with the interesting ceiling. You had your awkward first years looking for a.place to fit in, the generalists, the elves, the vampires, the face, the unseelies, the demons, the lycanthropes, etc, etc. It was boring for the while. A table with drinks lining it was at one wall while chairs were set up all over.
Still, a dark haired female leaned back in her seat, her dark eyes scanning the room as she crossed her left leg over her right, her black, peep toe heels showing the contrast to her red dress very well. Her hair was in soft curls and beside her, a male with the same colored hair and eyes was.observing the same way. He looked almost equally as sharp with his hair styled cleanly, and his jeans and casual, but formal top. He tossed a look to his left as he watched his sister play with a strand of her curled hair.
Alex and Billie Sanders. The demon siblings, or as they had been been better known as, the demon twins. Though they weren't. They shared a room, and though Alex would never admit it, he had helped.his sister with her hair. He often did little things like that for her because he was her.older brother, and Though he was keeping her biggest secret, well... she had his back just as much. She scared off the girls that became obsessed with him.
"What are you thinking, Billie?" He asked, and the girl with tattoos on both of her biceps tossed him a look.
"This is boring." She mused, her.fingers.playing with the pendant around her neck. It was a clear color for the moment, but Alex was always watching it, to make sure everything was okay.
"It always is." He reminded her. "No one ever does anything about it either."
Billie sighed. Their group had went to get drinks, and Billie stood. "Well, Alex, I am about to change that." She said, and he watched as his sister's heels clicked across the dance floor as she approached the deejay booth.
"Well hello there, gorgeous." He greeted with a wink, and she gave a smile, her eyes blackening to show She was a demon and he smirked this time. "What can I do for you?"
"Play something with one hell of a beat." She chuckled and she could feel his eyes on her backside as she got to the middle of the dance floor. She heard the beat start, and her smile grew as she began moving to the beat. He had hooked her up, big ten, and soon she saw people filtering onto the floor with her. Good.
She kept dancing, one of the demon girls, Miranda, joining her as she danced and they began dancing.together. "Spicing It up, Billie?" She asked, and Billie's expertly highlighted eyes said it all. "Leave it to you."
"You know it." Billie said before She slipped away from the growing dance crowd and Alex.looked at her.
"Nice work." He complimented her, handing her some punch, pouring some rum from his personal flask into it. She took it happily, and drank.
"Got to change It up every once in a while. You know, appease some other parts of me." Her words might not have seemed cryptic, but Alex knew what she was saying.
"Hey, whatever makes you happy." He said, and soon they were approached by a tall blonde guy who allowed his green eyes to blackened and return to normal as he smiled to Billie. "What's up, Justin?"
"Just wondering if Billie would want to dance with me." He.said, and Alex.fixated him with a hard look.
"Nah, go find Randa, I'm sure.she's up for it." Billie said, and once he left, Billie chuckled.
"What?" Alex asked, and Billie shook her head.
"Nothing. Can I get one of my cigarettes?" She asked, and when he handed her one, she put It between her lips and he lit it for her. "Thanks."
"Now, I am going off to find someone to dance with." He said, and she nodded.
"You know how to find me if you need me." She reminded him, and Alex nodded as he headed off towards a group of rather attractive first years. He managed to charm one into a dance and he was glad she didn't know the first thing about him.
"I'm Natasha," she said when she finally leaned back, forcing.his head into the crook of her neck. She had her back towards him, and now he could smell her perfume. "What's your name?"
"Alex." He whispered and she giggled.
"Wanna go find some place to talk?" She asked, and he smirked. He wasn't even trying, but he could also smell the.liquor on her breath when she spoke.
"Sure." He said.
And it was another usual event at the welcoming party. The teachers didn't necessarily condone the drinking or.the sex, but they turned a blind eye to it as long as no one was in mortal danger or got pregnant. And Alex loved it.
