Alex wouldn’t deny the small pang of disappointment when Jordyn said she was going to call it a night. She was quite good company, and it seemed that she was fitting in quite well with their little group. Not to mention, he did quite enjoy her company. And to think at the beginning of the night, had he not gotten away from Natasha well, at least he was pretty sure that was her name, he may not have met her. And the fact that Blaze liked her made it all the better.
Her excitement for the pups made him grin. “Of course I will. You’re just going to have to forgive the condition our dorm will be in. Billie is a neat freak, and the pups, well, they are a little bit messy, so it won’t look as it normally does. I mean, I’m neat and all, but Billie is a little OCD about it. Kinda funny when she can’t control the messes really.” He laughed.
The dorm hall she was in was one he hadn’t been down in a long time, but what got his attention was her question, and Alex shook his head. “Well, it’s complicated to say the least. Logan and Billie aren’t dating, but I’m glad you see it too. How crazy they are about each other, but neither will make a move because their feelings are real. To be quite honest, had I not lost control our groups might still be on okay terms with just a little bad blood, but you have to understand that-” he stopped himself when Blaze disappeared. That was odd, Blaze never disappeared on him like that unless Billie willed away Storm too… Which was rare in and of itself.
Alex shook his head and continued on what he was saying. “Anyway, Billie is my sister, and when her douche bag ex went around saying what he did, and she started getting attacked, I lost my mind. Of course, she’s a big girl and can take care of herself, but in my life, even when we weren’t together, Billie was my only constant. I protect her when I deem it necessary.” He explained, and soon she stopped, and she spoke he smiled. “I’d like that.”
When she kissed his cheek he froze, if not only momentarily, and when the door opened, he chuckled at her response. “Of course it’s still out there.”
Then the rest of the exchange he found a bit odd. If these were what all her friends were like it would definitely take some getting used to. Then when Jo spoke, he just nodded. “I’ll be here. I’m just going to wait here, see if Blaze comes back. She just sort of disappeared on us, and that isn’t normal.” He said, and once the door shut he walked a few feet up and down the hall, and he soon saw Adrian half limping down the corridor. He was a ways off, but Alex still felt his blood boiling, his eyes darkening.
Soon Adrian was standing about 20 feet from him, and Alex calmed himself enough to make his eyes return to normal. “You know, Alex, your sister is one crazy bitch. She’s changed.”
Alex just nodded. “I’m glad she has. She’ll be able to protect herself from you. I’m guessing we can’t say that you can protect yourself against her.” He quipped, and Adrian staggered a bit closer to him, fully feeling whatever happened to him just moments ago.
“Just because I can’t protect myself against her, doesn’t mean I won’t hurt you. Besides, just you wait, Billie will be wrapped around my finger again in no time.” Adrian hissed, and Alex just shook his head.
“You haven’t been around the last three hundred years boy. I think you’ve got a surprise coming your way.” Alex said, and Adrian’s eyes slitted again, but he couldn’t muster up enough strength to do anything.
“Just be glad that whatever curse she used against me has weakened me for now.” He said, staggering into a room down the hall, and Alex’s eyebrow rose.
“Curse?” he muttered to himself, and he shrugged a bit and stood, waiting on Jo a bit longer.

She couldn’t believe what he was saying. He wasn’t Billie’s type? Very few people were lucky enough to know Billie Sanders to the point that they knew her type. Because, she didn’t have a set type. If she enjoys your company for any length of time and you aren’t up her ass, then you’re good. It had been painfully obvious to Clary that there was more between the two when the whole Devin affair started. She hadn’t quite been friends with Billie as long as Logan per say, but she quickly grew on her, and Clary used to ask her why she was with Devin and could never get a straight answer other than to ‘get him off her fucking back.’
She sighed, “I’m not Lo, but if that’s what you think go ahead, I’ll drop it.”
His statement after she phased them through the walls made her feel bad. “Sorry, I just… I don’t deal well with seeing things that are potentially that bad. You know that.” She apologized. “And I’ll definitely give you a five second heads up next time.” She laughed but made herself material enough so he could lean against her as they walked.
Excitement suddenly filled her when Logan said that this was more for her than anything, and she smiled. “Okay. On the desk. Got it. Head over towards their dorm, I’ll catch up.” She said, urging him off as she disappeared and reappeared in the dorm. She could see that Jackie wasn’t in the main part of the room, so she quickly pocketed the keys and made herself disappear again, though she was still there.
When Jackie came out, Clary materialized, and began looking around the room before her eyes fell on Jackie again. “Well, hello again gorgeous. Didn’t think you’d be here for a party? I’m in the right dorm right? 118D?” she asked, though she couldn’t help her eyes taking the trip they did. Oh, this would be interesting.

Billie sighed, looking across the room to see Blaze curled up on Alex’s bed as she let out a long puff of smoke. She needed a nice long walk, that was what she needed. Clear her mind, and with that though, she opened her wardrobe and pulled out a hoody and pulled the hood up over her head to hide her face and the fact her pendant was still returning to normal.
It was messed up, she thought as she exited the room with Blaze and Storm staying behind at her command. She just needed to be fully alone for a few minutes, and as she walked down the hall, her head down she knocked into someone. “Where’d your good vibes go, sis?” the voice asked, and Billie looked up to see Colette, who was wearing a smile, a new joint in her fingers.
“I had a run in with an old acquaintance. The hot guy with bad vibes. By the way , thanks for telling the Arch Mage about your feelings.” She said, quietly, and she looked in her hoody and saw the light returning to her pendant. It had to be an aura thing with angel breeds, it really did.
“No worries, sis. Bad vibes equal no bueno. Nice to see you can feel the good vibes though.” Colette said, walking away, and Billie stood there. She wasn’t sure what came over her, not sure at all, but she turned.
“Colette, wait!” she said, jogging a bit to catch up to her, and Colette smiled to her as she lit up her joint.
“What’s up, Billie?” she asked, taking a long drag before offering it to Billie who actually took it this time.
“Thanks, but, look, my friends and I are going to be hanging out in the dorm I share with my brother tonight. You wanna come hang out with us?” she asked, and Colette pondered a moment before seeing Billie take a hit of her weeds and laughing as she coughed.
“Sure, just got to go tell my roomy that I’ll be in late. Wanna come with me?” Colette asked, and Billie nodded, handing the joint back as the two walked side by side down the corridor and bounded the corner. Billie saw Logan waiting just up the hall and Colette spoke again. “So sis, what is the deal with you and Mr. Vampy pants?” she asked, taking another hit.
“We’re close friends.” Billie answered, being sure to keep her head down the closer they got, and Colette smiled.
“Hey, no worries, sis, all the vamps and demons are still down at that hormone fest or after parties. This hall already saw most of its traffic.” Colette said, pulling Billie’s hood down, and smiling. Colette took up her hand at room 120D, just about 15 feet from where Logan was. “I’ll be out in a sec, sis.”
Billie nodded, pulling her head back up and walking the short distance over to Logan. “Hey, Clary still having her bit of fun?” she asked, a chill running down her spine when she looked towards the next turn in the corridor. She’d not be able to walk down that hallway for a while without it. It was rare she lost grip over her demon half and even rarer for her not to remember anything surrounding it. “And I hope you guys don’t mind, but I invited someone else to join us.”
Colette soon came out of her dorm and walked down to them. “Sis, I told you, it’s cool to be here.”
Then Clary phased through the door and laughed. “We have to run!” she said, grabbing hold of Logan’s hand, and Colette just shrugged, and looked to Billie.
“Let’s follow.” Billie said, and she grabbed Colette’s hand and they all ran down the hallway, Billie managed to slide around the corner before the dorm room opened and she could hear Colette laughing as she peered around the corner.
“That is priceless, sis. Man, dude, what did you do to unhinge Jackie Enderman?” Colette said, and Billie couldn’t help but laugh.
“This is Queen Bitchpire we’re talking about.” Billie quipped, and Clary couldn’t contain her laughter any more than the other girls.
“C’mon, I’m sure Ally and possibly Jo are waiting.” Clary said to them.
Her excitement for the pups made him grin. “Of course I will. You’re just going to have to forgive the condition our dorm will be in.
