Alex wouldn’t deny the small pang of disappointment when Jordyn said she was going to call it a night. She was quite good company, and it seemed that she was fitting in quite well with their little group. Not to mention, he did quite enjoy her company. And to think at the beginning of the night, had he not gotten away from Natasha well, at least he was pretty sure that was her name, he may not have met her. And the fact that Blaze liked her made it all the better.

Her excitement for the pups made him grin. “Of course I will. You’re just going to have to forgive the condition our dorm will be in. Billie is a neat freak, and the pups, well, they are a little bit messy, so it won’t look as it normally does. I mean, I’m neat and all, but Billie is a little OCD about it. Kinda funny when she can’t control the messes really.” He laughed.

The dorm hall she was in was one he hadn’t been down in a long time, but what got his attention was her question, and Alex shook his head. “Well, it’s complicated to say the least. Logan and Billie aren’t dating, but I’m glad you see it too. How crazy they are about each other, but neither will make a move because their feelings are real. To be quite honest, had I not lost control our groups might still be on okay terms with just a little bad blood, but you have to understand that-” he stopped himself when Blaze disappeared. That was odd, Blaze never disappeared on him like that unless Billie willed away Storm too… Which was rare in and of itself.

Alex shook his head and continued on what he was saying. “Anyway, Billie is my sister, and when her douche bag ex went around saying what he did, and she started getting attacked, I lost my mind. Of course, she’s a big girl and can take care of herself, but in my life, even when we weren’t together, Billie was my only constant. I protect her when I deem it necessary.” He explained, and soon she stopped, and she spoke he smiled. “I’d like that.”

When she kissed his cheek he froze, if not only momentarily, and when the door opened, he chuckled at her response. “Of course it’s still out there.”

Then the rest of the exchange he found a bit odd. If these were what all her friends were like it would definitely take some getting used to. Then when Jo spoke, he just nodded. “I’ll be here. I’m just going to wait here, see if Blaze comes back. She just sort of disappeared on us, and that isn’t normal.” He said, and once the door shut he walked a few feet up and down the hall, and he soon saw Adrian half limping down the corridor. He was a ways off, but Alex still felt his blood boiling, his eyes darkening.

Soon Adrian was standing about 20 feet from him, and Alex calmed himself enough to make his eyes return to normal. “You know, Alex, your sister is one crazy bitch. She’s changed.”

Alex just nodded. “I’m glad she has. She’ll be able to protect herself from you. I’m guessing we can’t say that you can protect yourself against her.” He quipped, and Adrian staggered a bit closer to him, fully feeling whatever happened to him just moments ago.

“Just because I can’t protect myself against her, doesn’t mean I won’t hurt you. Besides, just you wait, Billie will be wrapped around my finger again in no time.” Adrian hissed, and Alex just shook his head.

“You haven’t been around the last three hundred years boy. I think you’ve got a surprise coming your way.” Alex said, and Adrian’s eyes slitted again, but he couldn’t muster up enough strength to do anything.

“Just be glad that whatever curse she used against me has weakened me for now.” He said, staggering into a room down the hall, and Alex’s eyebrow rose.

“Curse?” he muttered to himself, and he shrugged a bit and stood, waiting on Jo a bit longer.

--

She couldn’t believe what he was saying. He wasn’t Billie’s type? Very few people were lucky enough to know Billie Sanders to the point that they knew her type. Because, she didn’t have a set type. If she enjoys your company for any length of time and you aren’t up her ass, then you’re good. It had been painfully obvious to Clary that there was more between the two when the whole Devin affair started. She hadn’t quite been friends with Billie as long as Logan per say, but she quickly grew on her, and Clary used to ask her why she was with Devin and could never get a straight answer other than to ‘get him off her fucking back.’

She sighed, “I’m not Lo, but if that’s what you think go ahead, I’ll drop it.”

His statement after she phased them through the walls made her feel bad. “Sorry, I just… I don’t deal well with seeing things that are potentially that bad. You know that.” She apologized. “And I’ll definitely give you a five second heads up next time.” She laughed but made herself material enough so he could lean against her as they walked.

Excitement suddenly filled her when Logan said that this was more for her than anything, and she smiled. “Okay. On the desk. Got it. Head over towards their dorm, I’ll catch up.” She said, urging him off as she disappeared and reappeared in the dorm. She could see that Jackie wasn’t in the main part of the room, so she quickly pocketed the keys and made herself disappear again, though she was still there.

When Jackie came out, Clary materialized, and began looking around the room before her eyes fell on Jackie again. “Well, hello again gorgeous. Didn’t think you’d be here for a party? I’m in the right dorm right? 118D?” she asked, though she couldn’t help her eyes taking the trip they did. Oh, this would be interesting.

--

Billie sighed, looking across the room to see Blaze curled up on Alex’s bed as she let out a long puff of smoke. She needed a nice long walk, that was what she needed. Clear her mind, and with that though, she opened her wardrobe and pulled out a hoody and pulled the hood up over her head to hide her face and the fact her pendant was still returning to normal.

It was messed up, she thought as she exited the room with Blaze and Storm staying behind at her command. She just needed to be fully alone for a few minutes, and as she walked down the hall, her head down she knocked into someone. “Where’d your good vibes go, sis?” the voice asked, and Billie looked up to see Colette, who was wearing a smile, a new joint in her fingers.

“I had a run in with an old acquaintance. The hot guy with bad vibes. By the way , thanks for telling the Arch Mage about your feelings.” She said, quietly, and she looked in her hoody and saw the light returning to her pendant. It had to be an aura thing with angel breeds, it really did.

“No worries, sis. Bad vibes equal no bueno. Nice to see you can feel the good vibes though.” Colette said, walking away, and Billie stood there. She wasn’t sure what came over her, not sure at all, but she turned.

“Colette, wait!” she said, jogging a bit to catch up to her, and Colette smiled to her as she lit up her joint.

“What’s up, Billie?” she asked, taking a long drag before offering it to Billie who actually took it this time.

“Thanks, but, look, my friends and I are going to be hanging out in the dorm I share with my brother tonight. You wanna come hang out with us?” she asked, and Colette pondered a moment before seeing Billie take a hit of her weeds and laughing as she coughed.

“Sure, just got to go tell my roomy that I’ll be in late. Wanna come with me?” Colette asked, and Billie nodded, handing the joint back as the two walked side by side down the corridor and bounded the corner. Billie saw Logan waiting just up the hall and Colette spoke again. “So sis, what is the deal with you and Mr. Vampy pants?” she asked, taking another hit.

“We’re close friends.” Billie answered, being sure to keep her head down the closer they got, and Colette smiled.

“Hey, no worries, sis, all the vamps and demons are still down at that hormone fest or after parties. This hall already saw most of its traffic.” Colette said, pulling Billie’s hood down, and smiling. Colette took up her hand at room 120D, just about 15 feet from where Logan was. “I’ll be out in a sec, sis.”

Billie nodded, pulling her head back up and walking the short distance over to Logan. “Hey, Clary still having her bit of fun?” she asked, a chill running down her spine when she looked towards the next turn in the corridor. She’d not be able to walk down that hallway for a while without it. It was rare she lost grip over her demon half and even rarer for her not to remember anything surrounding it. “And I hope you guys don’t mind, but I invited someone else to join us.”

Colette soon came out of her dorm and walked down to them. “Sis, I told you, it’s cool to be here.”

Then Clary phased through the door and laughed. “We have to run!” she said, grabbing hold of Logan’s hand, and Colette just shrugged, and looked to Billie.

“Let’s follow.” Billie said, and she grabbed Colette’s hand and they all ran down the hallway, Billie managed to slide around the corner before the dorm room opened and she could hear Colette laughing as she peered around the corner.

“That is priceless, sis. Man, dude, what did you do to unhinge Jackie Enderman?” Colette said, and Billie couldn’t help but laugh.

“This is Queen Bitchpire we’re talking about.” Billie quipped, and Clary couldn’t contain her laughter any more than the other girls.

“C’mon, I’m sure Ally and possibly Jo are waiting.” Clary said to them.

Jordyn was a little shocked that Billie and Logan weren't dating actually. The way she sat on his lap and he had kept an arm around her, whispering in her ear while they were at the fire. She had thought that the two of them had been dating for a while the way they acted. Listening to Alex as they walked, she gave a sad frown up at him nodding her head in understanding. "I can understand that, I'm sure I would do the same for my siblings. Maybe not lose control though, I'd likely have full control while attacking someone for them. You do for family after all. Or....well the family you can stand." She said bitting her lip looking up at him from the cover of her eye, afraid she might have hit a nerve.

Alex's freezing up wasn't missed by Jordyn, after all she had been right up against him when she did it and she gave a slightly mischievous grin spread on her lips as she said she had fun. Really she hadn't expected him to react that way, he was bigger and clearly older than her, but still such a little thing had cased him to freeze up. It was cute, and she was tempted to do it again but the door opened and Amber's voice wracked the moment.

Jordyn raised an eyebrow at his excuse before nodding. Though she had giving him a choice a small part of her had hoped he would have been able to look past Amber and came in. "I'll try to hurry then." She said giving a bit of a forced smile before going inside the door marked 173F.

Though as soon as she saw the shape the room was in, she was almost glad he didn't. "Did your boxes explode?" Jordyn said in shock looking around the room, Amber's things spread all over the room as well as Jordyn's bed. Amber looked up at Jordyn from where she was still unpacking, frowning as she moved the boxes off the bed putting it on Amber's side of the room.

Grabbing some clothes before going to clean herself up, and washing the punch off her skin. She really did try to hurry though, changing into a light green T-shirt and blue jeans, as well as pulling her hair up so it wouldn't be in the way anymore. Though she avoided eye contact with her new roomy as she grabbed her keys off her desk, knowing that Amber would want to tag along. But she knew Amber well enough to know she wouldn't be comfortable or fit in, in anyway. "I'll be back a little later, but I got my keys so don't worry about waiting for me if you want to go to Tiffany's party." She said before heading out the door.

Seeing Alex standing outside her door still made her smile up at him, a lot more comfortable out of the dress she was in, and in real clothes now. "Okay, I'm real and not a barbie anymore. Lead the way." She said smirking a bit before following him, she wasn't really sure what dorm hall he was in but she had a feeling it wasn't quiet like hers.

"So you know maybe Blaze is with her sister. If that's what you are so tense about." She said softly looking up at him, he might not be an animal but she could still see the little bit of change like after Billie had brought that Adrian guy over. "Or did my friend really weird you out that much?

--

Jackie jumped slightly as she came back into the bedroom, Clary materialized in front of her. An angry glare being aimed at the brunette as she looked around the room. "What the are you doing here!" Jackie hissed before she crossed her arms in front of her, more hiding herself than an annoyed stance. It wasn't like she was dressed to have people over in the first place.

"There isn't any party here." Jackie hissed there wasn't ever a party in her room in the first place, to much to clean up, and she barely was the one to clean in the first place. Her arms hugged her body a bit more tightly as she shifted uncomfortably seeing Clary look her up. "Why don't you go play with your little weak demon friends and get the hell out of my room bitch!" She said her tone turning into a bit more of a growl.

--

"I know Clary, I'm not upset." He said softly knowing her tone when she felt bad. Logan hadn't meant to make her feel bad, the phasing had simply caught him off guard. Though he didn't say anything to her promise to give him more warning, he smiled still a bit uneasily before leaning against Clary as they walked.

Logan chuckled a little at the excited smile on Clary's face, before she started to try urging him off and phased through the door. Though he still stood there at the door for a few moments. Even if this was just for her, it didn't mean that he didn't slightly hope to hear Jackie scream or freak out. Not really paying much mind to the girls talking down the hall at first. Eyes simply looking up at the girl in the hoodie and the blonde with her as they turned the corner, before Logan ignored them all together. Not even thinking for a moment that Billie was one of them. It wasn’t very often demons came down this hall anymore.

He nodded at her question about Clary. "Yeah, she said she'd catch up to us, I was actually about to head to your room." He answered with a slight frown, that this was what it had come to, Billie having to hide her face just to talk to him. Logan laughed a little at what she said next and nodded. "It's your room, beautiful. You know I don't care what you invite, as long as I get to hang out with you and Al." He said with a shrug of his shoulders, knowing that she wouldn't invite any demons so he had no need to really worry anyway. Logan turned his head looking at the door as there was a thud from something hitting the other side.

For a moment he thought about going in but Clary was a big girl that could phase out, even if he was a little over protective of his little sister. Even though he had a room so close to Cole, Logan hadn’t actually met her face to face yet, he let his eyes run over the blonde woman slowly when she joined them before nodding. "She's right, tonight is the one night none of us are here but Jackie. Trust me their all off getting laid, even fuck-face." He said eyes flashing red, an annoyed look on his face as he pointed down the hall towards Devin's room, before Clary phased back through, grabbing a hold of him.

The sound of a growl like one of Billies hounds filling the hallway as the door to the dorm opened, all of them already have turned the corner, Logan laughed watching around the corner until the door slamming roughly. "I've started the others calling her that." He said looking at Billie laughing some more before nodding and following Clary. Logan held his hand out for Clary to give him his keys, thanking her when she did. He knew full well if he didn't get them before the party he'd either forget all about them in the morning or have to wake the others trying to get them Clary. He after all would have to get up and leave early to ensure no one would see him leaving their room.

"You know I'm starting to feel a little bad for Al." Logan said with a little bit of a smirk as they walked towards the dorm. "The group just keeps multiplying on girls, and he has no game. Especially if he is taking tips on how to talk from Clary here." He finished his smirk widening as he elbowed Clary's arm picking on her.

Logan looked over at Bille after a moment though. "Seriously B, I am going to have to figure out a way to get away bitchpire tailing me so I can sneak over more often this year. The other vampires are starting to get on my fucking nerves." As they got closer to the dorm his hand reached over, pulling the hood off of her head. It had been all that he could take at that point. The Billie he knew wasn't one to try and hide herself, it was one of the many reasons he liked her.

Alex looked at Jordyn only when she commented on fsmily. She was absolutely correct, in his mind, but his mind continued to wander away from that as he awaited her return. Rather, now he was worried about Billie. She had been slowly losing herself to the darkness she carried within again. The first glimpse of light he had seen in her in a long while had been tonight. He feared that it didn't help much, in fact, he feared it would only make it worse.

His eyes remained on the dorm Adrian had staggered into, his words echoing in his mind. It was a short lived disturbance, as Jordyn joined him once again. She looked more in her element suddenly, and her comment made him smile. "Barbie or real, you're still beautiful."

He gently took her hand and he chuckled at her words. "I know that's where Blaze is, just wish it came with some warning. Like a siren or something just so it didn't catch me off guard." He paused, "And no, she didn't, I'm just not used to the fae crowd is all. She took me off guard."

His thoughts silenced him briefly, "Besides, I had a very good first impression." His eyes looked her over as he led her around a corner and they began down the next corridor. She truly was beautiful, he couldn't deny that.

Alex had been avoiding what was really bothering him, but he would address it when he saw Billie again. "So, I have to warn you now, our dorm will either smell like bleach, cigarette smoke, or this weird mix of lavender and cherry blossoms. I'm not too sure which." They had bounded another corner and after a few doors they reached 386 H. Alex let go of her hand and unlocked the door. Once he opened it, he saw the hounds both lying on a bed. Storm's eyes were trained on the door, and Alex allowed Jordyn in only to see Storm drop his head.

"Make yourself comfortable." He said, walking over to his wardrobe. He pulled a shirt out and he put his jacket on his desk's chair and he changed, barely realizing that it could be inappropriate at the moment. "While we wait, would you like a drink?"

---

Clary could hardly believe what she was seeing. Jackie Enderman was damn near naked standing before her. It was all she could do, look her up and down, but she also found it quite funny how her guard went up so quickly. It only fueled Clary further in her movements and her line of thought was moving quite quickly too. She moved closer to Jackie, and the bitchpire speaking just made Clary want to embarrass her more. But that could wait.

"You know, gorgeous..." Clary began, closing the space between them, "If you'd shut your mouth you'd be perfect."

She reached out and touched herntowel, using a bit of concentration before pulling it through Jackie. It left her completely naked now, and Clary took a moment to admire her naked form before speaking. "Marvelous."

She smiled a bit of a creepy grin, but the moment things began getting thrown, she bolted. She phased through the door, and grabbed Logan as she headed off, laughing a moment with everyone before they continued on.

---

Billie couldn't contain the laughter that continued through her after witnessing the aftermath of Clary and Jackie. It continued further when Logan said he got more people calling Jackie Queen Bitchpire. "Glad it stuck," she said as they began down the halls. Billie caught sight of her pendant that was still glowing darkly. She was still coming down from whatever happened, and Clary managed to get it out of her that it was affected by her moods at least. So hiding it from Clary was a priority for now. It still didn't stop her from asking, "what did you do?"

Clary smirked, tossing Logan his keys, playfully before her eyebrows wiggled. "I got her naked. Though now I am one thousand percent sure she is not my type ."

Clary then looked over to Cole who was lighting a second joint and passed it to Billie. "For you sis, test it out. It's called Heaven's Cord, it should totally help you level out. Your vibes are all out of whack." She said, and Billie nodded, taking a hit.

"Who is this gorgeous new addition , Billie?" Clary asked with a smile.

Colette took a hit of her own joint before speaking, "I'm Colette but you can call me Cole."

To this Clary smiled, "I'm Clarissa, but you can call me Clary. And that's Logan." She said, motioning to Logan who Billie had fallen in step with. Once Billie's hood came down, her pendant flew out, but Clary had caught sight of it before she could tuck it away.

Billie spoke before she could though, "Anyway, Lo, why not just asked Arch Mage for a dorm change? I mean, Clary has plenty of room. I crash there when Alex and I are fighting most of the time, besides didn't Harriet leave last year?"

"She did! It could totally work, and plus, I don't think Jackie would come anywhere near me after what happened tonight." Clary said, and finally they were to the dorm, and Billie let everyone else in, but Clary hung back. "You alright, babe?"

"I'm fine." Billie nodded, entering the dorm, and seeing Storm relax upon her return.

"Hey, Bill, mind helping me find something real quick. You reorganize and now I can't find shit." Alex said, and Billie nodded, following him into the bathroom. He spoke quietly after shutting the door. "What happened?"

She sighed, "I lost grip, but I'll be okay."

"What did you do?" He asked.

"The arch mage said I nearly exorcised Adrian. That's all I know, so drop it." She said, and she left the bathroom, walking over to her bed and motioning for Logan to sit with her as she waved her hand and a bottle of Jack came to her.

"So, Cole, how'd you meet Billie?" Clary asked . Billie hit the joint Cole had given her again, and Cole just smiled.

"Dude with bad vibes was heading her way outside, so I went over to keep her company. Bad vibe hot guy still kept coming, so I left. Met up with her again after giving the Arch Mage a heads up, and her vibes were all fucked up afterwards." She spoke.

Clary rose a brow. "She's half angel. She has aura sense." Billie said, and that earned her a few looks. "Full blooded angels are assholes, not half angels."

She leaned against Logan and offered him her drink. "So, what's on our agenda?" She asked, "Truth or dare? Drinking games? What's the plan?" She asked.

Alex's comment made a light blush spread on Jordyn's face as her smile only widened and she gave a shy laugh looking at her hands. "Awe thanks, you're pretty handsome yourself." She said before he took her hand.

Jordyn nodded at his words about Blaze, still watching him for changes in his stiffness. His words about Amber made her sigh softly. "Honestly she took me off guard too, I didn't plan on introducing you to her. Or at least not till last." She said with a bit of a frown. "She followed me here this year so she is new and hasn't learned to interact with other races, so she is still weird towards others and a little racist. But she actually seemed to like you." Jordyn said trying to make him feel a little more comforted towards her race.

Jordyn smirked a little looking at him from the corner of her eye catching him as he looked her over. She was glad that she could give a good first impression for the UnSeelie, though it did make her happy he hadn't seen her angry yet. "I can say the same about the demon crowd."

Jordyn nodded at his warning trying not to laugh because honestly if that was the one thing he felt the need to warn her about his room, she wasn't exactly worried. When they got to the dorm, she sat on the edge of Alex's bed, more comfortable near Blaze who she knew liked her. Though she would move if he asked her to. Jordyn tried her best not to check out Alex when he changed his shirt, not wanting to look like a creeper. But she couldn't help looking a bit out of corner of her eye, looking away quickly when he turned back around.

Technically she was only old enough to drink in the human years, so she couldn't drink around the fae groups. When she did drink it was never the hard type of stuff that they usually drank. "Sure. Though honestly I don't drink very often, so I'll have whatever you are drinking." She said smiling at him.

She took whatever he offered her, though she wasn't sure what he was drinking but Jordyn was sure she would be able to handle it. She took a sip of the drink, before making a face as she forced herself to swallow it. "What exactly are we drinking?" She asked.

--

Jackie blinked a little surprised at Clary's words about keeping her mouth shut. She didn't need to keep her mouth shut to be perfect, she was damn near perfect already. Much closer than Clary would ever be for that matter in her mind. A growl came from her throat as Clary reached out and touched the towel, though before her had time to speak or really react at all, the towel was pulling through her. Making her gasp in both surprise and embarrassment, her face going red, as her hands tried to cover herself.

The smile on Clary's face only made it that much worse, Jackie's embarrassment being replaced momentarily with rage. "Out! Get out! Get the hell out of my room you little weird ass creep!" She screamed at the top of her lungs picking up one of her school books and throwing it at her, picking up something else to throw as she let go of the book.

Clary phasing through the door before the book hit her only made her anger worse. Jackie quickly grabbed the towel off the floor and covered herself before opening the door hoping to catch her before she got away. But the hallway was empty, letting out a deep growl she slammed the door.

--

Logan laughed at what Clary did as he caught his keys. He could have told Clary that Jackie wasn't her type. The two of them didn't share a type, which was why they had always both been good at being each others wingman.

Logan smirked giving an nod looking over at Cole as Clary motioning over to him. "A pleasure, beautiful." He said. Before looking back over to Billie as he pulled the hood down, though he never really ever did pay attention to Billie's pendent in the first place.

He looked between Billie and Clary, as Clary started to get excited about the idea of being his roomy. Changing dorms was something that Logan had thought about many times last year. Though there had been a reason he stayed there up until now, it was a very shallow reason, but there was a reason.

Still if tonight was going to be what the rest of the year was going to be like, he was ready to move. "Hell I didn't know Harriet left. If I had known that I would have came by your dorm more." Logan said with a slight frown, before shaking his head. "I'll think about asking the Arch Mage tomorrow about changing. It'd be nice to get out from under that bitch's thumb." He added after a moment of silence before they were at the dorm.

"Cole, that's Jordyn another new comer to the group." Logan told her motioning to Jordyn sitting on Alex's bed looking down at her drink with a funny look on her face, as Billie was pulled to the bathroom by Alex.

Jordyn looked up as Logan said her name, giving a shy wave looking at the blonde with a smile. Before taking another sip and making a face again.

Logan went over to sit with Billie when she came out, sitting on the other side of her then Storm. He was a little surprised to hear that Cole was half angel and gave Billie a look before she explained. Though he was actually more surprised there was a angel here in the first place, than he was that Billie was hanging out with her.

"Um..I'm a little confused on what the big deal is." Jordyn said looking at Billie and Alex after she explained that Cole was a half angel. The angel and demon wars not really having the biggest effect on the fae and the creatures of the forests.

Logan's arm instinctively moved around Billie as she leaned against him, before taking the bottle from her. He took a drink as Billie asked what they were doing tonight. "Let's start out with both, Truth or Dare with drinking." He answered once he lowered the bottle. "Each truth given the dealer takes a shot, each dare done dealer takes two. If denied then vise versa." Logan explained for the two new girls. "Al, you guys still have the shot glasses from when Heather brought her tequila?" He asked

Logan started pouring shots sitting them on Billie's desk, looking at Billie. "You and Alex are going to have to share a glass. Last time I was here it was your turn to deal." He added smiling at her and handing her a glass.

Alex was a little surprised when he saw that Colette Evans had joined their little party, but he still smiled and waved to her as well before looking to Jordyn whose face said it all. “That’s some of the scotch I had leftover, but if you’d rather, I do have some flavored rum.” He told her. He opened up his drawer and poured her a small glass of the vanilla rum he had and placed it in her hands.

He heard Clary and Colette begin speaking, and once Billie explained she was half angel, the question came from Jordyn. Billie explained before he could. “There have been wars going on between the angel and demons, but the wars ended just recently. I want to say about fifty years ago. It’s why there aren’t many angels in the school. Because demons have always held a high population in this school. Colette here is the first in centuries to attend school here.” She explained and Alex nodded.

“And because Billie and I are the highest standing demons in the school they expect us to stay away from any angelic breeds. But, we didn’t get involved because it breaks laws of hell, and with us being so close to Lucifer, it made life difficult. Demons were trying to recruit us for a long time. But it’s water under the bridge now, it’s just most of the demons we hang around would likely hurt Colette on sight simply because she’s part angel.” Alex explained further, and once he saw the shots being poured he saw Billie face light up at being dealer.
Or the fact that Logan was so close to her, he hadn’t quite decided which.

“I guess I can share with brother dearest.” She laughed before looking about the room. “Alright, Cole, truth or dare?”
The blonde looked up, exhaling the last drag of her joint and thinking a moment, “I think I’d be afraid of your dares, sis, so I’m going truth all the way.”

Billie nodded, taking up her shot glass, thinking a moment about what she could ask to make herself not drink. “Alright, who is the most attractive person in this room to you?”

Colette shot a look. It was obvious that Billie hadn’t been around angelic breeds before. Or at least civilly. “Are we talking physical or just overall?”

Billie had to mull that one over. “Overall, and I want an explanation.”

Colette thought for a moment. “Overall, Clary. She’s got these immensely good vibes, and her smile is contagious. Got to give it to you, Clary, you’re beautiful.”

Clary blushed a bit, but watched as Billie downed her shot, and Colette looked around the room. This would be a fun game, and her eyes noted the vibes flowing back and forth between Logan and Billie. They were a glorious bit of light, and Cole averted her eyes, only to look towards Clary, but then her attention turned to Alex.

“Alright, truth or dare, Alex.” She said, and Alex looked a bit puzzled. He was certain she would have asked Clary or Logan, even Jo over him.

“Hmm, I’ll go truth.” He said and Billie had to comment.

“So lame, Ally boy. So lame.” She laughed, and he shot her a look.

“Fine, dare.” He said, and Colette nodded. “I just thought truth would be easier on our new addition.”

“Actually, you should play this with Salazar and Drakon, they’re good with dares. Billie knows.” Colette said, and Billie just smirked. “Their tutoring sessions always end on a high note.”

“You set me up!” Alex accused and Billie just gave an innocent looking face.

“I did no such thing.” She laughed but soon Clary looked to Cole.

“What’s the dare?! I’ve seen how games of truth or dare go with the seers, they’re almost as bad as Billie.” Clary was excited and Colette just smiled.

Colette had to think for a moment. She only ever gave and chose truth in games like this, but Salazar and Drain gave her plenty of ideas when they told her about their games with Billie. They were the only two seers that actually liked the demon girl. Still she smiled, “I dare you to…” she trailed off as she thought. But upon seeing the vibe link between he and the fae girl, Jordyn, she knew. “Kiss her.”

Alex looked at her, not fully catching it at first, but he looked to Jordyn and then to Cole. Talk about being backed into a corner. Still, he offered a hand to Jordyn, Colette picking up a shot glass as Alex looked Jordyn in the eyes fully. She had beautiful eyes, he noted before he leaned down slightly and caught her lips. He didn’t make it last too long simply because there were people watching and he saw Colette down two shots.
Billie leaned over and she gave her a high five. “What was that?”

Billie laughed a bit, and Colette just smiled. “It’s a girl thing.” Colette answered, and Clary smiled, squealing a bit.

“That was adorable. Alex, your face is such an adorable shade of red right now.” Clary teased him, and he scrunched his face a bit, watching as Billie leaned back against Logan.

“Lo, truth or dare .” he said, and once Logan answered that he’d take a dare he went to speak, but he stopped and rethought his plan. After five seconds he figured it end up getting him killed, but he’d do it anyway.

“Cat got your tongue?” Billie asked, and he saw her pendant, briefly and decided against his initial plan.

“Simply because humans find it hilarious, and I think it would be too. I dare you to switch clothes with Billie until the end of our game. And you can’t run and hide in the bathroom, you have to change right here, right now.” He said, sitting down, and Billie looked to Logan.

“Sorry, I know, his dares are so lame.” She laughed, pulling off her hood and then her shirt. It showed her belly button piercing and a brand on the left side of her rib cage in an old language.

“Old demonic branding?” Colette asked, and Billie nodded. “What’s it mean? I don’t understand a bit of it, and it’s supposed to be derived of angelic languages.”

Billie nodded. “It loosely translates to warrior. It was all the rave when we were younger. Any form I have, this brand will be there.” She said, wiggling out of her pants and looking at Logan. “C’mon! Alex keeps this room like a fucking icebox.”

She crossed her arms over herself and Alex laughed a bit. “Not my fault I got fire and you got telekinesis.” He quipped.

“Just shut up, lame ass.” She teased.

Clary looked to Alex. “Not where I thought you were going to go, but I like it.” She winked.

Colette shrugged. “Not going to lie, but I suck at daring and I did better than you.” She laughed a bit, “But I do see how it’s amusing, so dare well done!”

Alex shook his head a bit sighed, “Hey, hey, one of us has to have tame dares.” He said before looking down to Jordyn and he smiled. “So, I’m sorry if that was out of line. I want you to know something though,” he said.

Alex paused and looked at her, a small smile on his face. “I may have just met you, but I enjoy being around you, and I like you. So, please don’t take that kiss as just a dare. It wasn’t. I just like to take things slower with people I genuinely like.” He whispered a bit before turning to see if Logan and Billie were done changing.

“Thanks, I know I don’t like scotch now.” Jordyn said with a laugh as she took the glass of favored rum taking a drink and she was thankful that it tasted hundred percent better than the nasty stuff he had given her before. Jordyn listened as Billie and Alex explained about the demon and angel wars. She was actually surprised that this war had lasted up until fifty years ago and neither sides of the fae had heard about it. Though the little hatred they talked about sounded like the UnSeelie and Seelie hatred for each other taken to the extreme.

Logan was slightly tense as he waited for Billie to pick who she was going to deal to. A smirk spreading on his face as she picked Cole, Billie was a bitch about those dares, she made everyone else he played with look like a saint. He smiled listening to Cole's answer and watching Clary blush.

If there was one thing Logan was good at in this game, it was pouring shots, his natural speed keeping the drinks going. As soon as Billie's glass hit the table it was full again and ready for Alex's turn. He pushed Cole's shot glass towards her as she looked around the room, before leaning back so Billie could lean against him again.

Jordyn honestly wasn't sure if it was just that everyone was in such a good mood and enjoying the game so far or that the tiny bit of alcohol she had drunken so far was starting to calm her nerves. Either way Jordyn was actually starting to enjoy herself and relax a little bit. A smile on her face as she watched Billie and Alex bicker back and forth. Taking note to never pick dare if Billie ever picked her.

Jordyn blinked a few times looking at Cole, actually a little bit surprised by the dare herself. Though truth be told she didn't really mind the dare, and if anyone was going to be dared to kiss her, Jordyn would have rather it be Alex than anyone else in the room. Her eyes looked up into his, before he kissed her, her lips moving with his before he pulled away, a smile spreading on her face at the blush on Alex's, she thought he was so cute when he blushed.

Logan pushed the glass towards Alex before laughing. "I'm not drunk enough for truth, I'll take dare." He answered before sitting back, not worried in the least bit. Alex's sober dares were always lame, because he had to much of a filter. Logan looked at Billie and nodded as he started unbuttoning his shirt.

"That's why I'm never afraid of his dares, hell I got the easy one." Logan said his eyes running over her as she pulled the shirt over her head. His of course noticed the belly button ring before Cole said something about the brand bringing his attention to that as well. "That's kinda hot B." He stated as she finished telling about the brand and took off her pants, before she griped at him. It wasn't his fault that she had to hot as hell and have a branding and a piercing, it was extremely distracting, for a moment he even forgot what they were even doing.

"Keep your bra on, Billie." He teased taking his shirt off and handing it up to her. Showing the large tattoo that went from one shoulder to the other and just down past his shoulder blades. As well as the scar on his lower stomach from when he was stabbed as a human. He gave Billie a quick smile when she said something about tattoo. "I drew it years ago." Logan said before pulling his pants off and handing them to her as well.

He grabbed Billie's shirt off the bed slipping it on with ease, the smell of the perfume on the shirt filling his senses even stronger than it had been before. He'd be lying if he said he didn't enjoy the smell a little bit. Billie's pants however, were a different story. They were a straggle to get on from the start, both too skinny and short for him, he wasn't even able to zip or button them. Logan groaned a bit as he sat back down looking at Billie in the baggy clothes. "This is uncomfortable, we are changing the moment this is over."

Meanwhile Jordyn wasn't even paying attention to what was going on with the two changing, looking over to Alex as he started to talk to her. A smile showing on her face at the fact that he really liked her, and when he reassured her that their kiss wasn't just because of the dare. "It wasn't over the line I actually enjoyed the kiss. The feeling is very mutual, just so you know, I really like you too." She said as he started to turn and look towards the others.

Jordyn paused for a moment looking up at him before leaning in so just he would be able to hear her. "Plus, it might sound weird and don't take it wrong. But I find it really cute that you blushed after kissing me, it made me want to kiss you again." She whispered to him softly before sitting up and watching the others. If Alex wanted to take it slow, she could do that.

"Al, do the shots dude." Logan said looking still rather uncomfortable as he tried to find a way to be able to move in the tight jeans, before giving up and handing the bottle to Billie. "You're going to have to pour the shots now."

He picked up the shot glass that sat beside him, not even wasting the time to look around the room. "Jordyn, I've playing with you UnSeelie, beating the shit out each other. Truth or dare?"

Jordyn looked over at Logan with a small smile. "Dare."

Logan smirked a little bit, looking from Billie to Jordyn. He knew it might get him punched, but he highly doubted that Jo would do what he was thinking. Not that mention it would get him a point, and closer to getting his comfy clothes back. "I dare you, to kiss Billie."

Jordyn's eyes widen a bit, as she looked across her at Billie. "Seriously?" She asked her voice a little squeaky, because she did not swing that way.

Logan held his shot glass out to Jordyn his smirk only widening. "Or you could back down, take the shots, and give me a point."

"That is a pretty cheap shot you know." Jordyn said at Logan, a frown on her lips, before looking at Billie. She quickly stepped across the space between the beds, giving Billie a quick kiss on the lips before moving back to sit a little closer to Alex than before. The red on her face staying there for a few moments.

Logan downed the shot, looking at Billie as he held the glass out to her for the other. "Hey, to be fair I didn't expect her to do it, and I'd get an easy point."

Jordyn watched as Logan took the second shot, her blush going away before taking the glass from Billie, though she avoided looking at her for the moment. After quick look at the others she picked Clary, because other than Billie, she was the other one not picked.

"Clary, truth or dare?" She asked, smiling at the answer being dare. When she played with her friends they didn't have cute little dares like kissing each other or changing clothes. They turned the game into who could take the most pain.

"Alright I dare you to.....pick someone in the room to hit you as hard as they can. No phasing out, you have to feel the whole thing." She said deciding to be nice this time and let Clary pick her own hitter, instead of picking it for her. Plus that way she would know the next time who Clary didn't want to get hit by.

--
Logan let out a quiet groan his eyes staying closed as long as they could, because he knew for sure that the light from the windows was going to hurt more than it usually did. His other arm that had been wrapped around the person laying on top of him, coming up and stopping the light beeping sound from his watch that woke him. Logan's arm wrapped back around the person as he laid there for another minute, wishing he did have to get up so early, just to go to his dorm and take a shower and pass out again for a bit if there was still time.

Feeling himself starting to fall asleep again, he forced himself to open his eyes and look to see who was using him as a body pillow and warming him up. Though he was pretty sure who it was, he wasn't surprised that he was right when he saw Billie in his shirt with her arm around his waist and head on his chest. Only making him want to stay even more, not to mention he actually enjoyed being warm for once.

Logan's cool fingers reach out to move the hair out of her face smiling, before he moved the arm that was wrapped around and her head back on her actual pillow. The warmth from her body leaving him, as he sat up slowly trying to not wake her. He took the time to figure out where Clary, Cole, and Jordyn was so he didn't step on them, as he got up.

Billie noted Logan eyes on her form once she was in her underwear, and she damn near snatched his shirt out of his hand when her eyes fell upon the tattoo on his back. She paused midway through buttoning up his shirt and looked it over. It was intricate and very interesting . “Nice ink.” She said, and when he said that he had drawn it, she smiled.

Finally she got his pants and pulled them on quickly, curling herself up when she sat down again to regain body heat. The involuntary giggle that left her at Logan struggling with her pants didn’t go unnoticed by Clary , who was also laughing. Colette even began to laugh, and that was when Billie noted the hushed conversation at the other end of the room. Alex’s smile was bright and for a brief moment she could have swore she saw an exchange of a warm, vibrant sea foam light and a complimentary yet familiar flame orange between Jordyn and her brother. She shook her head before levitating the shot glass back from Alex once he downed them.

Then Logan passed off shot duty to her, and with a wave of her hand the shots began pouring themselves. However, what took her off guard was Logan’s dare to Jordyn. Kiss her? “are you taking notes from Clary, doll?” Billie asked him before she heard two gasps once Jordyn walked over and kissed Billie briefly. Clary had gasped and so had Colette.

“I totally didn’t think she would do it. My word! Jo, you fit right in here!” Clary smiled, and Colette just sort of looked between Billie and Jordyn. Billie’s face said it all. She was shocked, but Colette could see she wasn’t angry or anything. Just in a rather large state of shock.

“What’s the matter, Bill? Cat got your tongue?” Alex chimed, shooting a look over to Jordyn. He placed an arm around her when she moved closer to him. “I do have to say one thing, Jordyn. I have never met anyone that has left Billie that confused. Kind of refreshing.”

He placed a kiss to Jordyn temple before listening to Jordyn and Clary. “Oh, I will definitely take dare.” Clary said, now wanting to get Jordyn more buzzed. However, her dare wasn’t something she was used to. Billie had been the one for pure public humiliation with a side of just straight up evil, but never anything physical. Clary had to really think about this. Everyone in the room had more than human strength.

Logan was a vampire, and on top of that she wouldn’t put him in that situation , nor would she do it to Alex either. Even though it was a dare both of them would have felt horrible for it and she knew it. Billie was just down right scary, but she also had telekinetic strength and she had never seen her physical strength. She didn’t know Jo too well, but she had heard of the fae crowd being a little rough depending on the breed. Then there was Cole. And since Billie was going to get asked the question next she looked to Cole.

“I choose Colette.” She said and Cole gave a look.

“Sorry man, I’m a non violent type.” Cole said, lighting up a new joint, but Clary gave her a look.

“I promise I can take it!” she pled, “It’s either you or Billie.”

Billie finally snapped from her thoughts, her eyes had been trained on Jo and Alex. “Cole, it’s okay. It’s just a game. Clary obviously chose you for a reason.”

Alex spoke again, “Cole doesn’t have to either, Billie.”

Cole, however, got up and Clary stood before her. “Alright, let’s get this over with.” Cole said, and Clary nodded, concentrating on her form.

“Okay, I’m ready.” She said, and with that Cole reared back and hit Clary in the shoulder and Clary stumbled back, but before she could break anything, she broke her concentration and nearly phased through the floor. She came back rubbing her shoulder. “Note to self, next time pick Billie.”

“Are you okay? I’m sorry.” Cole frowned, offering her joint to Clary as she sat beside her.

Clary refused the joint with a polite head shake. “I’m alright, but damn you hit hard.” She said, and after a moment or two, she noted the shot glasses being filled. “Alright Billie,” Clary began turning to Billie who was quiet cute curled up next to Logan. “Truth or dare.”

Billie thought a moment, “Truth.” She said.

Clary had assumed she heard dare, “Alright, I’m going to get you back good this time, I dare you to…” Clary paused after the comprehension of Billie’s answer.

“What?” the tone of surprise came from Alex. “Billie the daredevil picking truth?”

Billie shrugged . “I got to change it up every once in a while. Keep you all on your toes.”

Clary had not been expecting this and she paused. She now actually had to think. Billie Sanders had picked truth. She could essentially get any answer out of Billie if she didn’t opt out so she actually had to choose her question wisely. She’d take the point for this opportunity any day.

“Umm… okay.” She thought hard for a moment, her eyes seeing how pleased Billie looked at throwing her off. “Alright. I got one. Why is it you won’t go after what you really want?”

Alex looked to Clary and then to Billie who had fixated her with a look. “And I want a good explanation because you know EXACTLY what I’m talking about.” Clary said, and she saw Billie’s eyes briefly flutter to Logan. Her hand waved and the shot glass she had taken down earlier had come to her hand. “So that’s it, you won’t answer?”

“I’ll answer you, I just need another drink is all.” Billie said, taking the shot and sighing. “Because I think I know what you are talking about, it would complicate things. Any time I have ever gone after what I really want I either get burned, quite literally, or I end up hurt in the end. So I choose to not let it happen, even if it kills me knowing that there is that small chance it would all work out.”

Clary looked at Billie who levitate the shot to her and Clary took it. Billie was drunk, obviously. Clary was just expecting her to take the shot and be done. Even Alex looked surprised, and Colette broke the silence that had grown.

“New game, people. I call it, like the humans do, puff puff pass.”

-

There was movement in the bed. Billie could feel it once a cool touch came to her face, however, she kept her eyes closed. It was Logan she knew. After the game she had given him back his pants, but hijacked his shirt Alex leaving his friend one of his shirts at the foot of Billie’s bed for Logan. It was nice to be wrapped up in his arms, but then he was out of her bed. Pretending to be asleep, Billie just curled up more, drawing the fabric of Logan’s shirt closer to her. It smelled just like him and she loved it.

“shh…” a hushed female tone came from the cot that Billie had set out for Cole. Alex had passed out with Jordyn beside him, and Clary had taken off after Logan had fallen asleep. Cole and Clary had talked for a bit before she left too, before Billie had fallen asleep even. So hearing Cole was no surprise. “Billie just fell asleep a few hours ago. I left her a note, wanna walk with me back to our dorms? I was gonna ask Billie, since I have been having issues with some of the crowds around here. Normally don’t care, but I need my Morning Glory before I deal with the shit for the day.”

Billie couldn’t believe it. Cole was sober, and once the door shut, Billie sat up and noticed they were gone before cuddling up more in Logan’s shirt, smiling at the smell.

(Sorry Alex doesn’t have a major role in this one, but it will change once he and miss Jo wake up.)

Jordyn let out a quiet giggle as Alex put his arm around her. Still trying to avoid looking at Billie, though she could feel Billie's stare still has she shrugged. "I actually didn't think I'd get that kind of reaction. Playing with you guys is kind of fun." She said smiling as she watched Logan take the second shot, the kiss to her temple from Alex making her grin even more as she looked at him.

Then she happily gave Clary her dare, and sat with Alex's arm around her as she watched the inaction between Clary and Cole. Finally looking over at Billie, who was still staring at her and stiffing a bit uncomfortably before Billie snapped back to life. Jordyn nodded at Alex's words. "That's right, if Cole doesn't want to do it, Clary has to pick someone else or take the shots."

Jordyn covered her mouth to keep from laughing as Clary almost went through the floor. Even though she was worried about Clary being hurt, it was funny as hell at the same time. Once Clary said she was okay a giggle finally slipped through Jo's mouth. "That hit looked like it would make even one of the fae cry." She said rather impressed that Clary had taken it so well, before taking both of the shots and making a funny face each time.

Logan was surprised as well when Billie picked truth, something he was pretty sure he had never her do. If he had the choice he could likely think of a lot of things to ask her. Though it wouldn’t have been what Clary asked for sure, because honestly he had no clue what she was even talking about. Want could Billie Sanders not have that she really wanted? He like everyone else looked at Clary, though he was the only one who had a confused look on his face, because even Jordyn had a feeling she knew what Clary was talking about.

He looked at Billie as she spoke missing the way she had looked at him when Clary had continued. The more Billie talked the more confused Logan felt, were they talking about a thing of a person. After the truth was told and Clary downed her shot, Logan gave up on trying to figure out what was going on and sat there quietly.

He looking down at Cole as she broke the silence, before taking the joint she offered and hitting it before passing it to Billie.

--

Logan looked down at Cole as she hushed him, his eyes holding a hint of crimson. Normally when he stayed the night he was the first one up, so he wasn't expecting to have anyone up with him. He nodded looking back at Billie curled up in his shirt, making sure he didn't wake her up getting out of the bed. Logan grabbed the shirt Alex left on the bed for him, as Cole started talking.

Logan nodded turning back to look back at her, surprised that she was already sober. Especially if she didn't even go to sleep last night. "Sure, though it’s pretty early most people aren't even awake yet. I doubt you have to worry." He whispered back before pulling the shirt over his head, he folded up Cole's cot sitting it against Billie's bed, more because of OCD than anything else, before opening the door for Cole, closing the door softly.

Logan was quiet as they first started walking back to the dorms. He truly wasn't a morning person, and conversion in the early morning wasn't the norm for him. "So...." Logan said softly feeling as though he should at least try to talk to Cole, especially if she was going to start hanging out with them more. "Other than the demons, what other groups are giving you shit?" Logan asked.

--

About half an hour after Logan and Cole left, the loud sound of Billie and Alex's alarm filled the dorm, waking Jordyn. Every beep felt and sounded like a fog horn being blown in her ears over and over again. Although she didn't have the nausea from it, Jordyn's head was killing her from a hangover. Even after they had finished playing the game, she continued drinking for a while with Alex before passing out on his bed. She had refused to smoke the joint that Cole had been passing around. It was after all a lot easier to ignore the sound of the plant wrapped inside screaming from being lit, if she didn't smoke it herself.

Jordyn cried out covering ears at the sound, and she rolled over putting her face against Alex's shirt. Tucking her knees up a little bit as she tried to block out the noise. "Please, it’s too loud, turn it off." She mumbled against him.

Once the alarm was off Jordyn sat up her fingers going up to her head, a slightly sparkling spreading from her finger tips and around her head before disappearing. The fae magic coursing her headache easing up enough that it didn’t hurt her head to open her eyes. “I can ease your headache a little, it won’t hurt. I promise.” She whispered as she turned her hand going to Alex’s temple, the sparkle from her fingertips covering his face quickly and sinking into his skin.

A smile on her lips as moved her hand, and turned to Billie holding out offering to do the same for her as well, before looking at the clock. Jordyn actually hadn’t planned on staying the night at Alex’s and had told Amber that she would be back last night. Jordyn stood up slowly before looking at Alex. “I have to go. I told Amber I’d be last night. I had fun last night though, maybe we’ll have some class together.” She said smiling before leaving.

After weaving through the traffic that had started up in the hallways, she finally made her way back to her room. Finding Amber was either already gone, or didn’t come back either last night. Taking her hair down, and getting her uniform out of her wardrobe and got in the shower to get ready to start her day.

Leaving the dorm with Logan was a bit odd, but Cole could tell conversation would be minimal. She was thankful for that much because until she had her Morning Glory she wasn’t at all a morning person either. Then Logan spoke and she sighed. “Demons, vamps, sirens, and the incubus crowd. The succubus crowd leaves me alone, but after last year they toned down. Arch Mage had to move me, and though I’m around more vamps now, I don’t have to worry about all the bad aura.” She admitted. Speaking of aura, her mind wandered back to last night. Logan had a very well toned red aura. It was bright, not dark, like most vampires had. And it complimented Billie’s ever changing grayscale aura.

“But they don’t get me down.” She said, looking ahead of them and seeing a figure ahead before she spoke again. “I know it’s not my business, but I have to say, you and Billie are cute together, and I need to ask a favor. I know she’s been looking after me, hence why after last year’s incident the demons started leaving me alone… watch her around Mr. Hottie Bad Vibes. He severely fucked up her vibes after their little interaction last night.”

Cole looked down the hall again, a black bit surrounding the person as they came into focus. It was the man in question, Adrian Desmond. “It’s too early in the morning for this.” She mumbled, stopping and taking a few steps back.

Adrian wasn’t paying attention to where he was going and shouldered Logan on his way past. “Watch it vamp.” He hissed, and Cole spoke.

“Come on, Logan, let’s go.” Cole urges, putting more distance between herself and Adrian. Adrian turned though and got a better look at Logan, his eyes slitting. He moved closer to Logan and pushed him against the wall, being sure to show the fire in his veins and put the heat in his push, burning a bit of his shirt.

“So, you’re Logan, hmm?” he asked, maniacally. “I’d watch your back if I was you, vamp. You may get burned .”

Right as he was about to breath fire over Logan something pushed him away, and he noticed the girl, her eyes burning white. When her voice came, he covered his ears, the angelic dialect burning his ears. Once she silenced he looked back. “You got lucky this time!” he called back to Logan, and Cole watched as he went away.

“He’s the one that concerns me around Billie. His aura is sheer black, and for her aura, it wouldn’t end well.” Cole said, her eyes returning, and soon she turned and saw a form disappearing again at the other end of the hall. “Come on.” She urged.

-

Alex groaned when the alarm went off, closing his eyes tighter and wrapping his arm around Jordyn who whined. He went to turn it off, but he saw Billie already out of bed and she had a page in her hand. “Thanks, Bill.” He grumbled, and once Jordyn offered to ease his headache he nodded. “That would be wonderful, thanks.”

The relief of his headache was nice, and he looked to Billie. “Thanks, but I’m alright.” She answered Jordyn as she opened her wardrobe to get her uniform out. Alex stood, quickly before Jordyn left and met her at the door of the dorm.

“I’m glad you had a good time. I hope to see you in class.” He smiled, placing a kiss to her lips before she took off. He watched her head off before he went to close the door when Clary entered the dorm already dressed. “Morning, Clary.”

“Hey, Billie, tell me you have ALD first.” Clary said and Billie nodded.

“I’m teacher’s assistant, so yeah.” She said, and Alex just shrugged, taking his uniform into the bathroom and changing. He fixed his hair and put on his glasses before he exited to see Clary sitting on the bed as Billie was pulling on her panty hose and her black heels

“So, I was going to head over and catch Logan before he got to his dorm earlier. I managed to get him some blood so he didn’t have to be so grumpy this morning and have to deal with Jackie, and I saw something you may want to know about.” Clary said.

“He should be okay, no one is awake at the time and Cole asked to walk with him, so I’m sure whatever it is it isn’t too bad.” Billie said and Alex looked to Billie.

“Adrian attacked him.” Clary said. Alex noted the near instant change in Billie’s pendant. “Cole managed to break them up, but he was going to burn him.”

Alex saw Billie pause, as if her mind gauged elsewhere for a moment. Clary stood though, “I’m going to go see if I can’t catch Logan before classes begin, see how he is.”

With that, Clary left, and Alex looked to Billie. “You okay?”

“That’s what triggered me last night. Adrian threatened to burn Logan.” Billie said, quietly. “I’ll take care of it. Adrian will learn his place in our chain here.”

Alex placed a hand on Billie’s shoulder. “Want me to walk you to class? I have Botany first.” He asked and she shook her head, watching as she went in the bathroom and began putting on her makeup.

“I’ll be alright. I can handle him now.” Billie said, “He’s changed. A lot.”

“So have you.” Alex pointed out. “You aren’t going to get burned again. You won’t let it happen. Neither will I.” he said to her.

Billie sighed, “But he can’t be all bad. He lost control last time, he just… he’s half dragon and all dragon breeds are honorable.” She said, and Alex nodded.

“I’m not going to argue, but I’ll see you later. Send Blaze if you need me.” He said before taking off towards the Botany classroom.

Logan frowned a bit when she listed vampires in the mix of groups that bothered her, though it wasn’t hard to guess why some of the vampires would bother her. It was clear that she was light blooded when he met her though the fact she was an angel wasn’t. He could even smell it right now due to the small bit of blood lust he was dealing with, though he had better control right now. Light blood still gave you the high, just not as strong as dark blood, it also didn’t give as bad of an after taste and after effect. The type of vampire’s that drank dark blood all the time were the ones that flow off the handle, or were like Devin. Logan wasn’t the only vampire that liked light blood, he just was the only who was picky about it.

Logan nodded at her next comment. “You shouldn’t, the sirens are just threatened that you are beautiful, and the vamps, well you’re going to get that with light blood from the ones like me.” He said looking down at her and smirked a bit. “I can see what I can do about the vamps if you want.” He offered before he and Billie were brought up.

He shook his head sighing before looking down at Cole. “We actually aren’t together Cole, though you aren’t the first to think that. I’m not sure who Mr. Hottie Bad Vibes is, but I’ll try my best when I can. Though clearly I don’t have much say, I’m not even allowed around her.” He answered and stopped walking as Cole mattered something taking a few steps back, Logan looked back at her.

Logan looked at the guy that shouldered him quickly, a hiss coming out of his mouth in response to the guy’s words. “Open your eyes dumbass.”

He hadn’t had time to react to Cole before he was pushed against the wall, a feeling of burning against his chest bringing his attention back to the guy, seeing the fire in his veins. Though by now, he was slightly confused, because he never had any trouble with the dragons, and didn't know why he was getting attacked. His eyes going dark red and a loud hiss coming out at the threat of being burned, he was about to push the dragon away from him. But before he had the chance Cole was there talking some kind of language he didn’t understand, but it did tell him something from the way the guy reacted. That he was a demon of some type. “Go fuck yourself!" Logan yelled back as the guy ran away.

Logan's dark red eyes looked at Cole as she said that was who she was talking about. He closed his eyes and didn't reply, even when she said come on. His fists balled up so tightly that his knuckles were white, and he could feel himself shaking, not out of fear but anger. "Just a moment." He said though it came out more as a hiss, Logan needed to regain control. He already had been struggling, and this encounter did not help it.

After a moment he started walking with Cole again although his fists stayed clutched. "Yeah, I'll keep an eye on Billie around him for you. If I have to, I'll talk to Alex. He owes me." He answered as they turned the corner to their hallway. Logan stopped at Coles door as she unlocked it. "I'll see you later Cole, hopefully we will both be in a better mood." He said with a forced smile before he headed to his own dorm.

As he unlocked the door and stepped inside Jackie was heading out for breakfast with Devin. Though she stopped pursing lips and crossing her arms. " How did you get your keys?"

"I remembered them last night. Don't start with me Jackie I'm not in the mood." Logan said heading towards the rack of blood vials he had on his side of the room.

But Jackie blocked him. "Where were you? I could have used your help last night. That creepy ghost bitch phased in here last night."

Logan just looked down at her starting to go around her. Until Jackie moved again, taking the blood from his rack. "Don't ignore me Logan!"

Logan hissed moving to where he was in her face, a fist going through the wall so he didn't hit her, as for just a moment he lost his control. "I was just a fucking attacked! I am thirsty, and not in the mood! Now give me my blood or I swear to lucifer I will drink the little bit of bitch blood in you!" Logan yelled at her darkly making Jackie whimper a little. Her eyes widened, and she handed him back his blood. Logan downed three vials quickly dropping them on the floor as he did, not even caring right now, as he moved away from Jackie who took the chance to leave.

Grabbing his uniform and another vial Logan went to take his shower, where he was finally able to calm himself down a little. Or at least enough to gain some form of control. He was still tying his tie as he came out of the bathroom to see Clary. Eyes still holding a bit of red as he looked at her, wishing he had had time to clean up the mess he made. "Morning, Clary."

--

After the quick shower, doing her makeup, and putting up her hair. Jordyn grabbed her books and started out towards her Botany classroom.

One of the best parts about her not being well known, or even hardly noticed was that she didn't have to worry about being forced to talk anyone she didn't like. Which meant that she was able to get to her classes quicker than the popular people in the school. By the time she got to class half of the students other than her weren't even there yet.

Still as she started towards one of the lab tables, she heard her name being called out. Turning she smiled as the strong arms wrapped around her and lifted her up, a giggle coming from her lips as she was sit back down.

"Hey Eric! I thought you weren't coming back this semester." Jordyn said excitedly as she looked over the tall raven haired Mage that she hadn't seen since last year.

"I actually wasn't planing on coming back. But I heard that your parents were making you girls came back. So I talked to the Arch Mage and he let me come back as a tutor and take some extra classes." He answered with a bit of a laugh looking down and twisted the ring on his finger.

Jordyn smiled at him. "That is so sweet, she will be so happy when she finds out. Though I don't think that she's any of my classes."

"No, I just heard you were in this class and wanted to see you." He laughed.

Jordyn make a small awe noise before reaching up and giving him a kiss on the cheek before she saw Alex. "Hey Alex." She called her smile widening as she waved him over, hoping he would sit by her seeing how other than Eric she didn't know anyone in class.

When he came over she gave him a soft kiss on the lips before looking back at Eric who was clearly smaller than Alex. "Alex this is Eric, he's about to marry Willow one of my sisters." She introduced.

Eric nodded to Alex. "Otherwise known as the sister that's not crazy." He said with a grin.

Jordyn shook her head sighing. "He hasn't met Willow or Tiffany yet. Seeing that I know Tiff might try to scare him off." To which Eric laughed and turned and left. "You want to sit with me? I don't know anyone else here. Other than Eric, and for a mage he is pretty stupid." She said looking up at Alex.

Cole looked to Logan, ready to speak before Adrian came, but she didn’t get the chance to as everything happened so quickly. Her nerves calmed quicker than Logan’s had, obviously, and she gave him a moment. He spoke and she nodded. “Thank you, Logan.” She said. “And just so you know, I know you and Billie aren’t together, I understand the situation, but nothing should ever stop you from chasing what you want. There are good vibes between you two, and your opinion matters more to her than she leads on.” They were nearing their respective dorms before she spoke again.

“And by the way, I will repay you for helping me out. Somehow, some way .” she entered her dorm, walking over to her desk and pulling out a joint and lighting it up, exhaling happily. She quickly changed into her uniform. She exited the room to see Clary getting ready to enter Logan’s dorm. “Clary.” She said, her barefeet carrying her over to the ghost.

“Oh, hey Cole.” She smiled.

“You saw, I know you did. And I know you can see it too. His aura.” Cole spoke, calmly and Clary nodded.

“I know, it’s edgy and I don’t like it. Trust me, I’m working on getting him out of Billie’s eye. She knows about the attack.” Clary said to Cole, waving a little pouch. “I managed to call in a few favors and got Logan some elementalists to give me some blood for him.”

Cole nodded. “I’m heading to class then. I’m sure Salazar and Drakon are waiting for their morning dose.” She said, blowing out a puff of smoke from her joint. “Just be careful, Clary, Logan isn’t in a good mood.”

Clary nodded before phasing into his room, arranging the vials of blood on his emptying rack. It had been pretty full last night, she remembered, so she was sure he’d appreciate the gift. She sat on his bed and when he came out she crossed to him and noticed a bit of burnt skin on his collar. “He hurt you.” She frowned. “I knew he was bad news from the beginning. But hopefully this will get taken care of.”

She offered a small smile to Logan. “I just came to check on you. I know how you get when you gotta get up early. Would be a lot easier if you decide to move in with me.” She commented, slyly. “But I better go, Billie is TA in my Ancient Languages and Dialects class, so you know it’s going to be good. Have fun, bro.”

She gave Logan a small hug before phasing out of his room, and once in the hallway again, she made herself transparent and holding Logan’s door shut as Adrian walked passed, muttering.

“This is never going to work with that angel bitch around. Or that vampire. Ugh. Need to rethink. He won’t be pleased with no one.” He grumbled, his voice barely loud enough for Clary to understand, but soon she released the know and allowed herself to reappear once Adrian bounded the corner. She shook her head and headed off towards her class, finally.

-

Alex sighed, closing the door behind him. He should stay. He should walk his sister to class. But Billie wasn’t going to have it, and he wasn’t going to push her buttons right now. She already said that the issue with Adrian was going to be taken care of, which made him a little more worried. Still, he headed off to class, Justin falling in step with him.

“Dude man, where were you last night?” Justin asked. “Our party was off the hook. And we met the new guy, Adrian. He wasn’t feeling the best when he got back to our dorm, but man he can sink a bottle. We should hook him up with your sister.” He said, and Alex shot him a look.

“For the love of Lucifer, Justin. We’re not hooking Billie up with Adrian. He’s a parasite and the sooner that gets through your head the better off we will all be.” Alex said, his eyes blackening. He moved quicker, leaving Justin behind as he walked into the Botany classroom. His eyes returned to normal, and he smiled upon seeing Jordyn.

He headed over, and when he received a soft kiss he smiled a little more. He listened to the introduction and he held out his hand. “Nice to meet you Eric.” He said, and he listened to the explanation and chuckled.

“I may not know your sisters, Jordyn, but if I can weather Billie for her whole life, I would like to think I can handle a bit more than the average person.” He said. “To be honest, I’m surprised Billie took to you so quickly. I think Blaze warming up to you helped her. Billie isn’t known for her accepting nature.”

He pulled Jordyn’s chair out for her and sat beside her. “So, do you just have your two sisters?” he asked Jordyn as they waited for the teacher and class to officially begin.

-

Billie looked herself over in the mirror again, pulling her hair up into a half up- half down do, and she closed her eyes again, looking to her pendant. It was burning a normal gray light, and she tucked it into her shirt before she opened her desk drawer and pulled out a small green vial and sunk it’s contents. The Arch Mage had required her to take the potion after a bad night to help her level out better, and soon she left her dorm and headed down the hall only to see Adrian heading her way. She decided to keep calm for now, but he was obviously mumbling to himself, so she walked over and fell into step with him.

“Morning.” She greeted and Adrian looked to her. “Before you say anything, I’m not going to apologize for last night. You struck a nerve and I’m going to tell you now, strike said nerve again and I will make an example of you. The other demons don’t fuck with me because they know I’m being serious. You should learn the same.”

Adrian nodded. There was a silence as they walked together, and he looked to Billie. “So, what’s your first class?”

“Ancient Languages and Dialects.” She answered and he chuckled.

“Can’t you teach that course?” he asked her and she nodded.

“Hence why I’m a teachers assistant.” She said, and the silence fell over them again, and Adrian saw Cole coming down the hall, hanging her head low as she ducked into a classroom with two others and he saw Billie and he were heading to the same one.

“Billie, can I make it up to you? I tend to get possessive over people I care for.” He asked and Billie shot him a sidelong glance.

“You’ve still got a chain to go up, Adrian. I have a reputation to uphold, and I’m not going to falter for you.” She said, entering the classroom and Adrian watched her figure as she took some pages off the teacher’s desk and began handing them out to the students.

Adrian saw the top of the page that read a Old Demonic and an outline to their coursework for the next month. He sat in the back, seeing Cole and Clary in the front and he watched as Billie began writing on the board as they waited for the teacher.

He sat back, and he closed his eyes for a minute before he heard a large book plop on his desk. He was still in pain from Billie’s attack last night, and the more he looked at her the more he wanted to know what happened. What language she had used. There was so much that was odd about it, and then earlier the angel girl spoke a similar but more painful to his ears dialect that he assumed was angelic dialect. Well, this would be the class to learn. He then saw Molly as Billie continued to hand out the pages and waving her hand to distribute the large text books they would be using.

Logan looked down before covering the burn mark on his collar with his tie frowning. He honestly didn't even notice that he was actually hurt until he was getting dressed. Both his bad mood and the adrenaline rush from being attacked keeping him from it. Now with the shirt and tie touching, it hurt like a mother.

"I'll be fine Clary, I don't stay marked up long, it will be healed up and gone by tomorrow." He said even in his mood trying to reassure her. Though he frowned himself at what she said next. "Clary, I want you to stay away from him the best you can. Okay. I don't know who he is and I don't care honestly, but if you got hurt I would lose it." Logan said tensing up, Clary meant almost as much to him as Billie to Alex. If he was going to try to warn off Billie, he might as well Clary too.

A small smile spread on his face as he closed his eyes at the mention of him moving in with her. "You sure that really want me to move in? I can get on peoples nerves." He asked with a small laugh. "I plan on trying to talk to the Arch Mage today after lunch."

"Have fun, sis." Logan said relaxing a little as Clary gave him a hug, his arm wrapping around her. It was always so hard for him to stay in a bad mood around her. It was really annoying sometimes. Though as he started feeling a little better, he noticed how off he felt.

Once Clary left him alone in the room Logan finished getting ready, and went to get one of the last three vials from his rack. Only to see the rack almost full again, he looked towards the door with a smile knowing that it had to be a gift from Clary, and he wished that she had stayed long enough for him to get a chance thank her. He grabbed two of the new vials from the rack stuffing them in his pocket for later before heading out to class himself.

Devin caught up with him as he passed by the cafeteria, falling into step with Logan. His hand hitting Logan's arm, the hiss that came from Logan made him stiffen a bit as he frowned. "What crawled up your ass and died man? First Jackie's saying you flipped out on her, now your hissing at me."

Logan looked over at him from the corner of his eye. "You're lucky I'm just hissing Devin. I could be punching you in the face for stealing my prey."

Devin looked at him and laughed a little bit. "Man, I saved you a lot of work for nothing. She was so drunk she passed out half way through."

Logan made a face at him. "That's your fault, I don't have to get women shit faced."

Devin shrugged his shoulders. "It's not my fault." He said his eyes going to a few demons that walked past them as they walked. "Hell until last night, I hadn't gotten laid since I dumbed that slut." Logan looked at Devin, as he talked about Billie, him being the real reason Devin was suffering.

Though Devin didn't even notice Logan."Not to mention that no one will sell blood to me but Molly. Who makes me pay ten times more than she even charges Jackie. It's all Billies fault, someone needs to beat her ass and put her back in hell where she belongs. Stupid bit..." Before he could finish his rumbling he was laying on the floor.

Logan finally having enough of him trash talking Billie and punching him in the face. The traffic around them in the hallway coming to a complete stop. "What the hell Lo!" Devin said holding his nose, looking up from the floor. Logan stared down at him not sure even what come over him, but then he smirked. "You were just talking on and on and it was starting to get fucking annoying."

"Oh my god Logan. What the hell did you do?!" Jackie's angry voice came from behind him.

Logan turned and looked at her before shrugging. "I told him I was going to punch him. He wouldn't shut up." He answered watching Violet move around him to help Devin up. Who was laughing now and muttered they were even as Violet helped him into the classroom.

Leaving Logan alone with Jackie, who reached up and cupped his face in her hands. While it might have seemed sweet to the crowd that was starting to move on now, Logan knew it was so he would give her all his attention. "I know your upset about being attacked but it will be taken care of trust me. So stop being a jackass." She whispered kissing his lips before her hand was on his back pushing him into the class with her.

--

"Hey Molly, long time no see." The male voice came from behind her, a hand being placed on her shoulder.

Molly frowned looking up from the plate she was eating off of, though she didn't bother turning her head to look at him. With a bit of focus she felt a freezing hold on her shoulder, a grunt coming from the person behind her before he had to pull his hand off her shoulder using his other hand.

"Damn it Molly, stop it." The man whined a little bit. From his hand up the skin had a slightly blueish tone, much like it was frostbit.

Molly shot a dirty look over to the raven haired boy, before she stopped freezing the blood is his veins and his arm turned its normal color. "I've told you not to touch me without asking Eric. I didn't expect to see you." She said frowning, before turning a bit to look at him.

"Well you didn't exactly give me a choose in the matter. Besides Willow had to came back this year." Eric said rubbing his arm as he sat beside her. "Plus you didn't mind me touching you last year."

"I meant that you shouldn't be talking to me in front of everyone. You aren't going to be any good to me if everyone knows that you are helping me. Also I don't care about your little nymph girlfriend." Molly said standing up.

"And if you mention that again, you'll be turned into a mage popsicle, my little toy." She added turning and leaving him, throwing her trash away before heading out to her first class.

After having to deal with Eric she was close to being late to her first class it was actually quite annoying. Last year she had been late to very single class she was in. This year she was hoping things would be different, but it was starting to look like it wouldn't be. As she turned the corner she saw Adrian following Billie into class, and shook her head. And people thought she was the crazy one, at less she know whom not to mess with.

As she entered the class Billie handed her the outline for the class coursework, and she didn't say anything as she took it but offered a smile. So Billie was going to be the TA? Well this would be an interesting class. Her eyes went over to Adrian, who had his eyes closed but quickly decided against sitting with him. Going to sit with one of the other mages in the back of the class.

If Billie was his target, she wasn't going to sit by him and screw up his plan. Though, she looked over at him as the book was dropped on his desk, and he looked at her. Molly raised an eyebrow, her eyes looking over his face, as she shook her head and looked at the book that dropped on her desk. Even he wasn't showing that he was hurt, he still looked like shit. She couldn't help but feel bad for the little cutie.

--

Eric offered a smile reaching out and shaking Alex's hand ignoring the fact that his arm still felt slightly numb from his encounter with Molly. "Nice to meet you too, hack I didn't even know Jo had a boyfriend." He replied making a bit more small talk before leaving.

Jordyn bit her lip softly nodding at his words about her sisters, but she still wasn't quite sure. Although it was nice to know he might be able to stand her dark side if she couldn't keep from showing it. As Alex had said, he didn't deal with the fae very much, and she really liked Alex. She didn't want Tiffany to screw it up, which she would, she always did.

"Still, I think I'll introduce you to Willow first. It's not that I doubt you, but I know Tiffany, and I actually kind of like you a lot so. You'll actually have a better chance of liking her anyway." She answered with a nervous laugh, Willow was the one of the three of them everyone liked. "Blaze is a sweetie, she reminds me of one of the wolf packs at home. And I actually kind of like your sister. When she doesn't terrify me anyway. Though I hope I didn't weird her out last night, I can just get a little competitive and didn't think about it."

She took the seat Alex pulled out for her, and shook her head to his question. "No, I have three, two of them are my half-sisters. But you likely won't meet Sage, or at least not any time soon. She is full blooded nymph, and seeing that they age like humans, she's much older then all of us." She answered as they waited, making a face as she said her oldest sisters name. Honestly she was glad Sage wasn't here, they didn't like each other very much.

"What about you? Just Billie?" She asked as the teacher came into the room.

"Alright class quiet down." The tall blonde woman said as she entered the door shutting behind her. All the students who didn't quiet after a moment, the woman's powers forced them to lose their voice. It was something anyone that had been in her Botany class before would be quite used to by now. Though there was a few new people in the back freaking out as normal.

The teacher smiled a bit watching for a few moments, before turning and writing on the board. "For those of you that haven't had my class, I am Miss Chambliss." She said as she wrote her name on the board before turning back to look at her class.

"My race doesn't matter, because I honestly could care less whatever sad little creature you are. Those of you whose voices I have taken will return in a moment, so calm down for mothers sake." She said rolling eyes as she spoke, grabbing a stack of papers seeing that she didn't have a TA this period, and started handing them out. As the papers were sat on the desk two mortar and pestles, two similar plants, and one book to share appeared on each table.

"Seeing that this is the first class. We will see what you all remember, or have learned in the other Botany classes. Before you are two plants, the potato flower and nightshade. One is used for healing, one is use for poison. Lets see who can tell the two apart to make the healing rub on page 22 and the poison on page 34." She said before sitting at her desk. "I have the potion to fix any mishaps, work with your partners, began." She said giving everyone their voice back.

Billie’s eyes were focused on the blackboard as she wrote the message in Old Demonic as instructed by Professor Harlow. He was a demon too, a rather old one at that and nearly as dangerous as the others his age, but he managed to keep himself sane by giving up some of his power to remain on earth. Billie stopped mid symbol when she noted some ruckus in the hall, but she continued on with her writing. Harlow had left her a note saying he had an early meeting with the Arch Mage and not to formally begin class until he arrived.

Clary moved from her desk near Cole and stood by Billie. “What’s up, babe?” she asked, and Billie finished up the symbol before turning to Clary. “I’m worried about you. And after this morning I’m worried more. Logan asked me to stay away from Adrian.”

Billie nodded. “And I agree with him. There’s something different than the last time I saw him, and I don’t want anyone I care about around him until I’ve figured out what.” She spoke in a hushed tone and Clary gave her a look.

“What about you? Obviously he messes you up too.” Clary said, and Billie waved a hand and the textbooks began opening to page 37.

“I’ll be okay, Clary. I can handle him. Besides, I have a reputation to uphold and I’ll be damned if he fucks that up. The demons need someone to keep them in line or they’ll be worse than the vampires.” She said, and Clary nodded, going back to her seat before seeing Billie flip through the outline and Cole looked up as the time came for class to begin.

“So, Billie, what is all of this stuff?” Cole asked and Billie looked to the door.

“Harlow asked for class not to begin until he’s here.” She said, looking through the notes he left for her.

Adrian took his chance. “You know more Old Demonic than any other demon I know, can’t you at least tell us what it’s used for? I mean it is a dead language.” He quipped, and Billie’s eyes fell on him, but she sighed a bit seeing the majority of the class was agreeing with him. Almost all of the demons at that.

“Old Demonic now is used by demons of certain ranks. It has the ability, since the dialect change, to do more than just send messages. In fact, if used properly, like by the orders of Hell Knights, it can be used as a weapon.” She explained, “And even as a warding tool against certain races.”

“Very correct, Ms. Sanders,” the black Eyed man said as he entered the class. His tall stature towered over Billie, his grey hair smoothed back as he smiled. “Good morning class, I am Professor Harlow, I will be teaching you of Ancient Languages and Dialects here. You are fortunate enough to have my class with a teacher’s assistant as well versed in this area as I am, Billie Sanders. There will be days I allow her to take the wheel, per Arch Mage requirements, and in fact, one of those days is today.”

Adrian looked forward with the others, and he saw Billie smile. But a hand raised. Another demon by the name of Florence, she had to be just as old as Billie and Alex, and she seemed slightly annoyed with Billie’s teacher’s assistant standing. “Professor Harlow, why is Billie the teacher’s assistant?” she asked and Harlow sighed.

“I won’t deal with petty.” He said, warningly. Billie however, spoke as well.

“I can speak every version of demonic, human, fae, vampire, lycanthrope, and even angelic there is currently known with ease. I’m a linguist, therefore, the best for the position.” Billie spoke, plainly, her eyes blackening over before returning to normal. The demons knew what it meant and Florence nodded, looking to her textbook.

“Anyways, before the end of the class period, you are to have completed the first worksheet in your outline. You may work in pairs or small groups, but first, Billie will explain the basics of it, as she had started to.” Harlow said, sitting at his desk and scribbling a few things down.

Coles hand shot up before she spoke, “So, where does Old Demonic come from?” she asked.

Billie gave a small smile and a light nod. She could shine in this class. It was her favorite because of how easy it was for her. She had extensive knowledge of language because she never stayed in one place for too long and she was a fast learner. In an almost scary sense at that. “Old Demonic is derived of the first branch of angelic dialect. It was used for seven centuries in hell before the dialect change, and has since become a powerful tool to high ranking demons, such as hell knights. In fact, most hell knights are marked with it to denote their standing. Also, about eight hundred years ago it became a fashion statement in hell and all sorts of demons were branded with it.” She explained.

Clary then raised her hand. “What does the board say?” she asked.

Billie looked at it. “It translates, welcome to class. Since reading and writing in Old Demonic is far easier than speaking it, today we are going to learn basic symbols, and common phrases seen in it.”

She erased the board and began placing a few symbols before she went to look at her notes and noted the brand on Harlow’s forearm. It was the same as hers, but she didn’t react as she continued on with a few symbols. “Can anyone name these?” she asked.

--

Alex smiled a bit to Jordyn as she spoke, listening to her words. “Hey, whatever makes you most comfortable.” He said, and when she asked her question he nodded. “Yeah, most people don’t believe it, but she’s my half sister. Don’t know her mother or my own even, just that they aren’t the same. Our father is, unfortunately, the shared parent. It’s why I worry for her.”

Alex looked forward when the professor entered and he shook his head at the students who were surprised by her. He took Botany and Alchemy every year because he was quite intrigued by plants and what they could make. He looked to his text book and then to the flowers, looking over to Jordyn as they were allowed to work together. “I won’t lie about it, but I can’t tell the difference between these two ever. Can you help me out?” he asked in a bit of a hushed tone , but something different caught his ears.

A group of demons new to the crowd he and Billie had were talking in front of them. “Dude, Logan damn near knocked Devin out. It was fucking hilarious. Too bad it was vamp business otherwise I so would have to high five Logan. Devin needs to shut his mouth.” One said, and it caused Alex to smirk a bit. He’d have to send Logan a gift basket for that.

It hadn’t been long ago that they had the discussion of how to deal with Devin, and keep Billie in the dark on it. Just like Alex knew to keep quiet on the whole Adrian situation. It would get handled in due time, he knew it.

He turned his attention to Jordyn and the book, staring at the plants. “How do you tell the difference?” he asked her, quietly before taking up a pen and placing it against the page before him and wiring down what he was told. He was good in knowledge, but some plants just got him. Some of it was due to color blindness, and that was why he wore the glasses. The Arch Mage had made them for him to help with his color blindness because the Arch Mage knew why he was taking most of the courses he was.

-

The Arch Mage sighed as he walked down the hallway, a familiar figure walking with him. It was the one of Lucifer, who had decided to come up for a meeting and stay for a while to monitor the demons for a while with the issues coming up. Not to mention he was worried for Billie, his adopted child, up against someone like Adrian.

“The blood feud between the vampires and demons is getting ready to get worse again, I feel it.” The Arch Mage spoke, and Lucifer nodded.

“I’m sure it has to get worse to get better though. So they’ll have to band together to survive, after all.” Lucifer spoke, a hound larger than Storm at his side. “If Azrael makes it here, things will go down hill quickly. Alex won’t go with him, that’s a fact, but the other demons are fickle, they are so like humans now and are enticed by the idea of power.”

The Arch Mage nodded. “Are you sure he has people here already?” he asked, and Lucifer nodded.

“Adrian Desmond may be one. He changed in his time. Ash here managed to overhear a bit of a conversation saying his aura is black.” Lucifer commented. “It used to be yellow.”

“What happens if Azrael comes in contact with his children?” the Arch Mage asked.

“Alex will be fine, he may lose a little control, but not enough to hurt himself. Billie, however, there is a strong possibility her angelic half won’t be able to contain itself. Her form now will be destroyed and she’ll return to hell where we’ll look for a new form. But there is no need for them to know. Not until Azrael is located.” He said, and the Arch Mage nodded.

“Does Alex know what will happen to Billie?” he asked.

“No. Billie knows what will happen and has decided to keep it to herself. Besides if Azrael sees her form destroyed, it will be more likely he thinks she’s dead.” Lucifer answered. “When will the survival exams begin?”

“Next week. We have to get some basics covered in the class first.” The arch mage answered and Lucifer stopped, seeing Billie writing on a chalk board in a classroom as they walked passed.

“She almost exorcised the demon out of him?” he asked.

“She’s getting stronger demonic ally and her shifts are more frequent now. If she doesn’t accept the light soon, I fear worse will happen.” The arch mage said.

“What of the mage in the school? How are they?” Lucifer asked.

“They’re all still learning.” he said, and the two entered the gymnasium and sat in the bleachers. “What other concerns need addressed?”

Beside Molly one of the other female mages in the class, her name being Laken, snorted in derision as Adrian spoke up to Billie, rolling her eyes before looking across Molly at the demon. “What a kiss ass.” She muttered loudly some of the mages around her laughing softly. Even Molly smiled a bit, holding off a laugh as she looked out of the corner of her eye at the girl. Though even the mages eyes went to Billie as she began explaining Old Demonic, and what its uses were now days. The professor complimenting Billie on being right as he finally made it to class.

Unlike the little demon girl, Florence, who likely reeked of jealousy from the way she talked. Molly had no doubt in her mind that Billie knew what she was talking about, two years ago Molly had taken this same class, and Billie was her tutor. Though of course that was when she was still normal, before she found what she could do blood magic so easily. As well as before she accidently met Azrael and went a bit a little more crazy than she expected to.

However, it never hurt to take a refresher class, especially since she used some of it to get in touch with Azrael. Though it was only when something went wrong and she wasn’t about to get away from the school or others to contact him. The fact that Billie was TAing the class this year, well that was an interesting coincidence, that she really wasn’t sure if she liked or not yet. After all her job wasn’t to get a hold of Billie, it was to clean up the messes of Azael’s people under her, and if need be figure out a way to make Billie weaker.

When Billie asked if anyone could read the symbols on the board, Molly looked up from her book. While everyone went to looking down at their books, she looked at the board frowning a bit trying to remember, for her it actually was a lot easier to say it the speak than it had ever been translating it. After a moment her hand raised high in the air a smile on her lips before she answered. “Pride, Loyalty, and one of the symbols for Warrior.”

--

“Really? Yeah, I wouldn’t have guessed she was your half-sister either. Usually half-siblings don’t like so much alike.” Jordyn said after listening to him talk, though she wasn’t really sure what to say when he brought up his father. She reached over and touched his hand, as if it had any chance of making him feel better. "I’m sure that everything will be fine though, I mean doesn’t the Arch Mage have magic keeping the school safe?"

Jordyn actually kind of liked Ms. Chambliss, having met her last year. After proving that she deserved to be in a higher class than Botany and Alchemy I, she meant the only two teachers. Before meaning the professor halfway through the year and getting put in this class. Not that Jordyn minded taking it again this year to catch all the way up.

Jordyn looked down picking up their book, opening it, and turning to page 22. She read over the page quickly, moving her mortar and pestle closer, before looking at Alex and nodding. "The one on the right is Nightshade, left is Potato Flower." She answered in a hushed tone of her own.

Then the people in front of them started talking and got Alex's attention, and Jordyn shrugged going back to work as she listened. Though she soon looked at Alex a little bit confused. "Who's Devin?" She whispered wanting to know who Logan almost knocked out, from the smirk on Alex's face it was amusing. But she had no idea who Devin even was, seeing that he followed Logan around most of the smaller groups that didn't deal with the vamps much didn't know him.

Jordyn watched Alex put the pen to the paper and she couldn't help but grin a little bit. Last year she was put with a earth elemental and didn't get to do a lot because he didn't want her screwing him up. But she had a feeling she would enjoy having Alex as a partner. Plus plants were her thing after all, so she knew what she was talking about. "Well other than the fact that this breed of nightshade has a light blue tint to the edge of the white petals" She said in a hushed voice not realizing or knowing that Alex was colorblind. "One of the ways is that it actually has a smell, but you have to be careful smelling it." She reached across him and pulled the pot closer to her, before pulling the other pot closer as well.

"One of the easiest ways to tell if it’s a Potato Flower is that it always has a layer of dust on the petals, that is impossible to get off, from the dirt they plant the potatoes in." She said as the head of the flower leaned over a little towards Alex so he could see what she was talking about.

Jordyn reached for the Nightshade her fingertips going through the stalk, almost like how Clary phased through things. She slowly started closing her other hand keeping the other one open and flat, focusing on the plant itself. The flower petals slowly spread so that Alex could see the pistil of the flower better. "And all Nightshade has small poisonous berries in the middle instead of a stigma." Jordyn finished the flower pedals returning to normal before she pulled her hand away from the stalk.

She wiped her fingers off on her shirt that made her look like a barbie in her mind and flipped to page 34 looking it over with a slight smile on her lips. It was nice to not only have a reason but also get the actual chance to show off some of her powers, it wasn’t something that she got to do very much. "Which one do you want to make? I've made the healing one before, but I don't have to worry about the nightshade making me sick as easily." She asked looking up at him leaving the choice of which he wanted.

"I'm only giving ten more minutes before I go around testing your potions out on one of each of you. As we need to go over your coursework." Chambliss said looking up from her planner. "Remember anyone that hasn't made the recipes correctly will have to study and remake it for me, correctly, tonight after classes are over as pre usual." She said before looking past Jo and Alex. At a couple of girls that had been eavesdropping on their conversation, and watching Jordyn explain.

"As well as cheaters Ms Geller and Ms Black. Eyes on your own table ladies or I'll move you up front. Where we can stall going over the coursework until tomorrow, and you can show everyone how to make the potions making everyone late." She added before standing and starting to write a list of rare plants on the board.

"I'd rather see that than go to my next class." Jordyn whispered to Alex as she added the rest of the ingredients her potion need to the mortar.

Billie had taken to watching the classroom as they looked in their text books for the answers. Harlow had no clue that he may have caused her some trouble with the actual symbol like for warrior being on the board. Of course, Harlow had no idea of the brand on her side, just as he had tried to hide the same brand on his forearm. Because any demon that knew old demonic knew what it meant. The correct answers came from a familiar source. Molly Jaxson. Billie had tutored her years earlier, back when she was different.

“Very good.” Billie complimented. “Now, these three symbols are three of the most easy to recognize, but they are also the most modified . Loyalty is often modified under different circumstances, pride is added to other symbols, and warrior has 200 different symbols that revolve around it, and each one is just slightly different from the last.”

Billie erased the board and drew two more symbols. “Can anyone tell me these?”

Adrian spoke this time, much to Billie’s surprise. “Darkness and purity.”

Billie nodded. “Correct, however, these aren’t common aside from in the old tomes where the laws of hell are written out. These are the most recognizable symbols because humans use them today for a variety of things, completely unaware that if added to they could wreak havoc. For example,” she said, quickly taking a pen and drawing a symbol on her hand before adding to the one that was for purity. The demons in the room began cringing, Harlow not being affected because he had the symbol she had drawn on herself tattooed on the back of his left hand. Probably for this reason.

Cole looked at the floor behind her seeing a demon fall out of his seat before Billie erased the mark, the demons looking at her. Adrian had felt it, but he was half dragon and it only affected him by giving him a troubling headache. “What did you do?” Cole asked. “Why didn’t it affect anyone else?”

“Because, Colette, combining anything like an attack to the purity symbol will affect naïve demons.” Harlow explained. Billie nodded, and Clary raised her hand.

“What happens if you add to darkness?” she asked.

“It affects angels. You have to consider, the dialect change happened at the beginning of the first angel – demon wars.” She answered, “But if you don’t know what you’re doing the changes can backfire and affect more than what you’re expecting.”

Harlow nodded and saw as Billie waved her hand and he saw all the packets open to the worksheet. “Did I cover enough for the worksheet?” Billie asked.

“Yes you did, go ahead and work on what’s in front of you, the answers can be found between pages 34 and 49. Billie and I are here if you have any other questions.” Harlow said, and Billie saw Clary quickly join the group of Clary, Salazar, and Drakon. Adrian was sitting by himself, staring at the text book, rubbing his head.

Billie could see he was in pain, but she ignored it as she walked over and sat in her seat near Harlow’s desk and opened up her book as she began writing down a few things.

Cole and Clary had been talking about the assignment for a while before the topic came up. “Does Billie usually lie?” Cole finally asked, and Clary shrugged.

“Not often but she has. She is a demon, it’s in her nature to be deceitful, even if she has that weird aura thing going on.” Clary explained. “And she didn’t technically lie, she said it was a loose translation, and you saw what a modification to a symbol could do, maybe it’s like that to transfer to other forms.”

Cole nodded, looking at Billie. Her aura right now was a storm cloud grey, where as last night it was the color of smoke. It was odd. She had never seen an aura so fickle before. It was odd, but soon Cole turned her attention back to the assignment. She noted Clary looking around the room, and she saw the demons still half staring Billie down as they did their assignment.

Harlow hadn’t stopped her either though, so obviously he knew it wasn’t too bad. Still, the fact that Old Demonic was just as powerful as Ancient Angelic concerned Cole. That meant that Salazar could be right about his recent visions and Drakon could also be correct in his most recent writings. They were in Ancient Angelic and she often translated for them, but these she wouldn’t tell what they said. They had been speaking of a whole new war of dark versus light. Not angel versus demon.

--

Alex was glad that Jordyn was so willing to help him, and he jotted down the high points of what she was saying. He nearly chuckled at Chambliss catching the group behind them cheating, and finally he answered Jordyn about who Devin was. “Devin is Billie’s ex. He’s the reason that the two groups no longer associate, unless it’s a bloody, fighting mess.” He explained, quietly before deciding to make the healing plant.

Granted, the poison may not have bothered him much, but if it did, he didn’t want to risk hurting anyone. It was an automatic response for him to ball up in fire when he was hurt or not feeling right. To keep people away. It had happened once last year, when he got mad and he trapped Billie in the fire cocoon with him. His true form was trying to bust out because of his rage, but Billie managed to ward away the feeling before it happened.

He kept referencing back to the book as he went on making the healing rub. He wanted to get it right. He was a perfectionist when it came to school work, and when he was posing as a human ages back and had any job it showed through there. He also wanted to be diverse. His father was close minded, so Alex thought that the first and best way to not be like him was to keep an open mind.

“Does this look right?” he was squinting now. Obviously the Arch Mage needed to reenchant his glasses because the colors weren’t showing up so well anymore. He’d catch him at lunch today if he could about it. “Sorry, I know it should be green… I think that’s green anyway.” He said, trying to make out the color in the picture. It was only a hindrance in these classes, the rest of the time it was just an annoyance. Especially since it was all color he was blind to, so he felt like he lived in an I Love Lucy rerun.

Molly gave a smile as Billie said she had been right, almost proud if herself. Though she quickly hid it away, no, she was now sure she didn't like being in Billie's class. However, it did have its benefits. She did actually enjoy watching the demons struggle as Billie attacked the word Purity. Though she didn't let herself react any differently than those around her. In her mind Molly was doubled over laughing her ass off at how weak the demons were. What was even funnier was that Adrian was thinking Azrael would be happy with these demons.

Molly looking down at the worksheet in front of her as one of the other mages, Paige pulled her chair to the other side of the table across from Laken. Neither of them knew a single thing about Old Demonic and that was reason she took this period instead of taking the class later in the day. She looked over at Adrian rubbing his head. All of the others had paired up into groups, but the poor cutie was over there all alone. Either no one knew him well enough to sit by him, or they weren't allowed to. Which was sad because he seemed to be the only one besides Billie and herself that knew anything.

She focused on his desk a bit, trying to get his attention as she saw her tiny ice crystals form on the edges of his desk as well as the edges of his book while the room stayed the same temperature as before. If he didn't pay attention she would make it go up his arm on the desk as well. When Molly saw him looking at her, she smirked holding her hand down out of the view of Billie and Harlow. Her finger motioning for him to join her and her group.

"I can't find this symbol." Paige whispered frowning at Molly making her look back to her group.

"It's modified version of Loyalty." She whispered back grabbing and flipping through the pages of Paige's book until she got to page 45. She looked up from the book at Adrian when he came over to join the three of them with a smile. As Paige grabbed one of the chairs from the table in front of them and pulled it where he could sit facing Molly. The only one really bothered by Adrian joining them was Laken who gave him a dirty look as he sat. "Here." Molly said putting the book back in front of Paige, pointing at the symbol and Paige started writing.

"I've taken this class before. So if you need any help cutie just ask." She said softly to Adrian, knowing that this wasn't the time or place to actually really talk to him.

Paige nodded. "Billie was her tutor." She added not looking up from her book to see Molly's eyes looking at her.

"Or he can just go kiss Billies ass like the others do." Laken said frowning looking down at her book. Molly frowned looking at Laken, moving a little bit so the heel of her black knee high high-heel boots came down on Laken's foot. "Ouch, sorry. Damn it Molly." She said moving her chair over a little bit to avoid getting her foot stepped on again. Paige simply looking up from her book at her sister and laughing shaking her head.

--

Jordyn frowned a bit. "Oh, I've never even heard of him." She said which actually was a good thing probably. "He deserved to be punched than." She said after a moment of silent thought. Before she nodded at his choice and pushed the Potato Flower towards him, taking the Nightshade. The tips of her fingers turning a blackish color from the poison in the flower as she started picking the petals off of the flower, putting them into the mortar. However, the poison didn't have an actual affect her, it just started painfully inching.

Feeling the inching starting to spread, her fae magic kicked in quickly. With a frown Jordyn laid her hand palm down on the table, a small sparkly light like before in the dorm surrounding her hand and healing it. She shook her hand a bit before scratching the last bit of black on her palm as it faded away. She reached over taking the pages of the book really quickly while Alex wasn't looking at it turning the page to double check. Though that was only time she really needed to check that she read it right. Jordyn was done making the poison quite quickly, the blueish black slightly toxic smelling goop sitting in her mortar.

She looked down at his rub when he asked if it looked right, before nodding noticing him squinting now. "If you add anything else, it won't work." Jordyn answered before pushing the book a little bit closer to him. "There does that help any?" She asked in a hushed tone trying to help, thinking maybe he was far sighted and the book wasn't close enough for him to see it well.

Chambliss stood up from her desk finally a small black knife in her one hand and a bottle of potion in the other. "All right class, time to put your poisons and healing rubs to the test. Pick between the two of you well is the test subject." She said before making her way around the room getting to their table last. "Mr Sanders and Ms Reid, how am I not surprised you two decided to become partners this year." She said with a small smile on her face at two of her favorite students teaming up. "Alright which one of you is going to be your test subject?"

"I will." Jordyn said quickly after looking at Alex. Knowing that not only was her poison right and could be very deadly if not healed quickly, but also that if on the off chance Alex’s rub didn’t help. She wouldn’t be killed by it, only get really sick for a little while.

Chambliss nodded taking a hold of Jordyn’s arm and making a small cut into her flesh deep enough to make it bleed. With the hand not holding Jordyn’s arm, she dipped pestle in the bowl getting some of goop on the tip before slowly rubbing it down the cut and skin around it. The goop on her skin becoming liquid and being pulled into the blood and open cut. Quickly the poison spread up her arm, her skin turning black and making Jo wince a little bit, as she fought her magic from healing the almost unbearably painful itching. Her eyes even beginning to water a bit as Chambliss took the mortar from Alex and rubbed the healing rub on her arm. The poison stopping in its tracks and her skin becoming normal, the cut on her arm even being healed. As Chambliss let go of her arm Jordyn’s other hand come up and started scratching where the skin had been black roughly. “It still itches like hell.” She complained softly more to herself.

“Remember class, each table gets one book each, so decide who is going to take it with them.” Chambliss said as she handed them both each a copy of the class coursework list, and a worksheet for them to do, before heading back to her desk.

Jordyn smiled widely grabbing the book quickly as the bell rang, sticking her tongue out at Alex and sticking the book in her bag. "Now you have a reason to come over to my dorm tonight to hang out with me." She teased him a bit with a laugh before heading towards the door.

"Please tell me that you have Coexisting with humans for your second period. Maybe with you there to help me, I won't fail it again this year." She said looking up at him once they were in the hall.

--

Logan groaned a little as he left his first class downing one of the two bottles he had brought with him as he walked. Some of the other vampires looking at him with red eyes as he did so. Though they weren't stupid enough to try and take the bottle from him. He truly hated BL, but it was a required class of vampires, werewolves, and other races that had a problem with blood lust. Although the classes had helped him greatly, and he had managed to get to the last year of the class being required for him, it was still almost torture to get through. Especially with the lack of control he was having today, which almost made him attack the dazed human the professor brought into the class. It took all of his strength to keep himself in his seat.

"What class do you have next?" Jackie asked coming up behind him, her arm wrapping around his as they walked. Devin had caught up behind them too. Though he stayed a few steps over and behind, his nose swelled up and a little to the side. It was likely broken from Logan punching him, but had already started healing.

"Realms IV. Which is going be nice and relaxing compared that class." Logan answered taking his arm from Jackie's hold, his hand coming up and loosening his tie. Unlike his shirt it was starting to put pressure on the burn that was starting to make it more sore.

Jackie gave an almost sad oh sound making him look at her out of the corner of his eye. It almost made him feel a little bad that he didn't really care what classes she was in at the moment. If she wasn't in Realms it would actually make things easier for him, she wouldn't be talking in his ear the whole fucking class. In fact the reason he picked it for second period was that he knew no other vampires were taking it then and it would be quiet. "What class do you have next Devin?" Jackie asked looking behind them at him.

"ALD I got stuck retaking it this year." He answered with a bit of a frown.

"Oh great that means I won't be taking it by myself with the useless demons." Jackie said with a smile, slowing down so she could talk to him some more.

They kept walking as Logan went into the Realms classroom. Picking one of the seats in the back and against the wall. He sighed his hand going more and loosened the tie once more before giving up and just taking it off, his eyes closing for a moment as the burn got relief from the pressure.

Billie sighed a bit as she wrote down what she had, and looked it over, Harlow had managed his way over and began speaking to her in low tones. “How do you know this ward?” he asked, hushed as he motioned to the bank know of his hand with his eyes and her palm. “Not even my most advanced students know that and have flawless execution.” He said, and her eyes caught his brand again.

“I am Lucifer’s. He taught me more than he probably should have.” She whispered before her eyes caught the movement of Adrian over to Molly table.

Adrian had barely noticed the ice coming over his desk until the nip of cold got to his arm. He was just in so main pain and his head throbbed now didn’t help matters either. Still, he wasn’t about to pass up the opportunity to work with a group, even if once he sat down a couple of the demons glared at him. He didn’t care though, he had gotten in with Billie’s rather sizable entourage last night. He also came to find out that they followed her because she was so strong, so he had a feeling that it was why she was so reluctant to the whole thing. Parts of her would just never change.

There was a smart remark made and Adrian stifled a chuckle. “Billie could teach this course, doesn’t surprise me that she tutors for it.” He commented before turning to Laken. “You know, I could kiss her ass, but how far does that get any of the others? Besides, she doesn’t work like that, and the Billie I knew is different now.” He said, looking to the book briefly before filling in some of his worksheet. Half of it Azrael had taught him, the other half Billie had when they first met. He could pass this class easily if he wanted to.

He looked over to Molly, “So, if you’ve taken the class before, why retake it? Just need brushing up for other classes or something, or does the Arch Mage require certain classes to be retaken?” Adrian asked. He hadn’t ever been in a school setting like this, but soon the class was coming to a close, and he gathered his things, seeing Billie at the door collecting the worksheets. He handed it to her and he lingered a bit outside the door but when he saw Molly and Billie interacting, briefly, he just went ahead and headed off towards his next class. History.

He closed his eyes as he walked, Justin flanking his left as they headed down the heavily vampire populated hall as they began heading into the ALD classroom. Justin was speaking, but Adrian just ignored him and turned into the history class, taking a seat in the back know corner and putting his head down while everyone began filing in.

--

Alex was glad that Jordyn was there to help him, and he gave her a smile and a nod. “Thanks, but it’s not too far away. The colors are hard for me to make out.” He whispered, his voice low enough just for her to hear, and he was glad she checked it too. He got lucky the other years and had earth elementalists as partners, and they were so perfectionate that they taught him, but he never got his hands into the actual application. Now he could actually learn the application of it.

Jordyn had already said she’d be their test subject before he could even protest, but he watched what the poison did and his jaw nearly dropped. He’d need to remember this stuff for sure, especially with everything that they found out last night. He had been trying to put it on the back know burner but had been unsuccessful. Especially knowing that Azrael was out and lurking. Nothing should bring him to the school any time soon, but he still worried. And he knew how bad keeping Billie in the dark could be, but he also knew how she’d be if she knew. Neither was good.

His eyes hen saw the healing rub he made work, and he smiled a bit, but it quickly faded when she began scratching, and Alex looked to Jordyn and placed a hand over her arm. “Sorry it itches so bad, but try not to itch. Just makes it worse I’ve learned.”

Soon they were dismissed and he smiled at her taking the book. “Alright sounds good to me. I have to change beforehand and make sure that I have everything I’ll need.”

Her next statement made him frown a bit. “Actually, I have Ancient Languages and Dialects. But my next period I’m free to tutor for it” he said, “I mean I have been existing along side humans for a very long time now.”

Though the class he was heading to was closer he decided to make a point to walk Jordyn to class. “Just suckered though, almost all the demons I know we’re in the first class.” He said seeing more vampires filing into his class. That was a bad sight.

--

Billie had stayed behind a few moments to collect the worksheets, and she set them on Harlow’s desk before she went to leave but saw Molly here. She didn’t have much time to talk, but she humored Molly, and spoke. “Morning, Molly.” She said, picking up her books, her pendant, still glowing it’s normal grey light, came from the security of her shirt.

After Molly finished up though, she spoke. “I have to jet, but yeah, you can tell Paige that I’ll see her for tutoring.” She said, hurrying to her next class. Realms IV. At least it would be an easy class, and when she entered the room, she didn’t bother looking when she sat in he basically know of the class.

She got herself set up, seeing the teacher still not there and the class was full of mainly incubae and succubae, both of which steered clear of demons and vampires, so when she saw Logan beside her she actually smiled a bit. However it faded as she moved herself closer, moving the collar of his shirt before she could help herself and a wave of rage flew over her entirely.

Adrian burned him. This would not fly, period. “What the hell happened?” she asked him, though she was sure it was evident that she already knew. She wasn’t on kilter fully, and her pendant began glowing a bit more darkly, but she turned her attention forward when the teacher came in.

Molly filled in her own worksheet as Adrian talked to Paige and Laken, barely having to look at the book. She used this language a good bit both to talk to Azrael and sometimes for her blood magic, though out of school she didn’t need it to talk to Azrael. The only thing she had trouble with still was translating the symbols to English, which took some thought.

Laken didn’t say anything as Adrian spoke but simply stared at him, a small smile spreading on her face as he looked down at his book. She was more used to demons getting angry when she talked like that to them, especially when talking about Billie or Alex. It was slightly refreshing, and she looked over at Molly. “I kind of like this guy, you sure he’s a demon?”

Molly looked up from her book at Adrian before looking at Laken with a smile. “I know he’s a cutie, isn’t he.” She shook her head not what Adrian asked next. “No, not really for another class. It’s been two years and it’s nice to have a refresher, you never know when you’ll need it.” Molly answered though her fingers went up to the necklace Azrael had sent her as she spoke hoping he would understand what she meant. “Also neither Laken or Paige here know a thing about different languages, and if it wasn’t this I would have had to take Trials and Torments of Witchcraft. I already have to take History this year.” She said as she looked down and finished her worksheet with a frown. “I wasn’t expecting this to be Billie’s class though.”

When the class came to a end Molly grabbed her things and handed in her worksheet. Though a thought popped in her head, and she made a point to stay behind and patiently wait for Billie to be done, Laken and Paige standing outside the door waiting for her. "Morning, Billie." She politely noticing the pendent she wanted to get a look at coming from where it was hiding in Billie's shirt. "I was just wondering if you were still doing tutoring for this class." She said eyes looking over what she could see of the pendent until Billie looked stood back straight from getting her books. Molly quickly pointed at the girl with brown hair and green highlights, waiting outside the door. "My friend Paige has no idea what she is doing in this class, so I thought maybe if you were, you might be able to tutor her like you did me?" She asked, before smiling as Billie said to have Paige see her in tutoring. "Great thanks." She said before leaving, Laken and Paige following her as she head off to History.

Even though neither of them had this class with her, they came to a stop in front of the class door. "By the way Paige next period you need to go to the student center so Billie can tutor you." Molly said not giving her the chance to even argue with her before going in the class. Seeing Adrian in the back row with his head down on the desk, she walked up to his desk. Molly took the desk beside him and made a ticking noise as she sat down. "Awe poor little cutie, you look like shit. I thought you knew that Billie doesn't seem to play nice with her toys." She said softly the teacher still wasn't in the room so that gave them a bit of time to talk.

--

Jordyn was forced to stop scratching as Alex put his hand on her itching arm, she looked up at him with a bit of a frown. Though the poison was healed it itched like the humans with their chicken pox, and the only thing she wanted to do was scratch her skin off. Still looking at Alex she sighed. "Yeah I know, it's just annoying." She answered putting the hand that was scratching on her knee.

The smile on her face widen and her eyes showing a little bit of a sparkle like her magic when Alex said he would come by her dorm to hang out and study. "Oh great! I can grow whatever plants we need, so you don't have to bring any." She said excitement clear in her voice. Though it was good that he needed to change and get things, because that way she would have time to clean the room. Also hopefully get rid of Amber.

Jordyn frowned a little in the hallway, though she wasn't upset about him not having the same class as her, as much that she had made Alex frown again. "Oh, I don't want to ruin your free period. I mean that wouldn't be fair for me to ask. It's alright I'll be free next period too so I can just get a tutor from the student center." She said still frowning. "I honestly don't care about coexisting with them, the Arch Mage is making me take the class until I pass because stupid humans are kind of the reason I was sent here." Though she would much rather have Alex tutor her, she didn't want to take his free time from him.

"So why didn't you take Ancient Languages and Dialects with your friends than, and Botany?" Jordyn asked before she started heading to her next class, smiling a little when she heard him walking beside her, even though her class was around the corner going down the opposite way from his class.

Though as she walked she noticed quite a few people looking at them, something that wasn't something she was used to, she shifted a little uncomfortably taking Alex's hand which oddly made her feel a little more invisible. “How do you deal with being so noticed all the time?" She asked in a soft whisper trying to keep her eyes on Alex instead the people walking by staring and whispering. She would much rather be ignored and not noticed, not that there was much about her to notice in the first place. Being noticed because she was with Alex would be something she would have to get used to, it would be a struggle though.

The rumor that Alex was going out with some little red haired girl would be spread around by the end of the day. Luckily for her no one knew who Jordyn actually was, so at least she didn't have to worry as much until they figured out who she was.

Once the hallway cleared out a little and she got to her class, Jordyn stopped and looked up at him. "You know, Alex didn't have to go out of your way to walk with me, I don't want to make you late. But it was really sweet of you." She said smiling up at him, giving him another soft quick kiss. "I'll see you later, okay." She said still standing on her tippy toes before going into the class room.

Heather stood a little ways away from the class door and spoke as Alex turned towards her to walk back down the hall. "Good morning. Looks like I missed a lot at the party last night." She said with a smirk before laughing a bit as she headed towards the class room door. "Oh, and you have a little of her lipstick on your lips, love." She added before going inside.

Logan wasn’t even paying attention to what was going on around, when he saw that there was mainly just incubae and succubae, he knew that he had nothing to worry about. He didn’t see Billie come in or even smell her, though in a class room full of people that wasn’t the easiest thing to do. When he felt someone miss with his shirt, his guard shot up and he quickly grabbed the arm of whoever was touching him, a low warning hiss coming from his lips. Though Logan quickly loosened his grip as his red eyes opened and saw Billie.

He let out a deep breath letting go of her wrist completely as she asked what happened. “I think that we both know that Clary told you what happened, Billie. But seeing that Cole said my name and some big ass dragon fucker attacked me for no reason. I’m guessing I met your boyfriend, or whatever the hell he is.” Logan answered clearly not in the happiest mood either. Still unable to thinking straight or censor himself, something that hopefully Billie would know.

Their conversion was cut short for a moment as the teacher came into the room through the door without it even opening. Professor Morgan, a short and slightly chubby man with thick rimmed glasses and the starting of a bald spot. He didn’t even bother looking up at the class from his book as he walked to the front of the class. Despite the fact he didn’t demand attention when he first came into the room, he was still a good teacher. Getting to the board he sat his book down on his desk and writing the word Limbo on the board.

Logan frowned a little looking at Billie out of the corner of eye, she was likely the only woman that it was actually easy to see if she was mad. His eyes slowly started to fade to show a little bit of the green showing through them for the first time all day as he started to calm down enough to think a little straighter. He knew the look of rage on Billie’s face, he had seen it when the two groups first spilt up and one of the other demons attacked him in front of her. “B, I don’t know what you are thinking, but I am fine, I’ll be healed tomorrow. I would much rather you just stay away from this guy than try to fix this.” He said softly so just she could hear.

Adrian smirked at Laken's comment about him being a demon. "Not fully, not quite a pedigree if you catch my drift. I'm half fire draks, and let me tell you, having the perks of demon and dragon are quite nice." He said, his eyes falling on Molly when she spoke. It made sense to him now why she was retaking the class and he nodded. "Makes sense, just being here is something I'm getting used to. At least it's better than human schooling."

He rolled his eyes a bit before Molly said something about taking history. "History is only as boring as the person teaching it. Humans suck at teaching history. Period. Plus it helps when you're over 500 years old. But its required." He said.

It wasn't until he was in the next class and Molly began talking to him that he lifted his head. "Believe it or not, Billie wasn't always like this. Hell, I remember when she was afraid to use her powers at all. It's odd, but kind of refreshing to see her using them. I just didn't realize that she was as strong as she was."

He rested his head back down, trying not to think about the amount of pain he was in, but his ears caught word of something that caused him to sit up some more and keep his head up.

"Something big is going to go down between the demons and vampires. All I heard in the hallway was Jackie's little entourage talking about how everyone needed to know what was going down."

Rumors already? Damn, this place was worse than human high school in that respect. He pushed the thought from his mind and looked to Molly.

"So, are there any demons here that aren't an absolute bust, aside from the obvious." He asked her, quietly. The group in the class wasn't demonic really. There was a vampire here and there, one other demon, but it looked like mainly students that just didn't want to be there.

Alex waved his hand a bit. "Its a non issue, Jo. I tutor for the class anyway, and I use my free period to tutor anyway. Keeps me out of trouble, and it helps others so I guess its a win-win." He said, and when she grabbed hold of his hand he smiles a bit before looking at her.

"First, Billie is TA first period and I didn't want to butt in on her apace. It's more her area anyway, and most of the morning Botany classes are with Chambliss, so I figured it was the best option for me. Now seeing who is in ALD second period, sure it's going to be rough, but Harlow won't deal with the shit. Besides, he's a hell knight, no one fucks with him. He's one of the few teachers that can pull apart the really bad vampirw-demon brawls." He explained and then he answered her next question.

"To be honest, I ignore it. Billie and I were kind of named leaders of the demon crowd here. Neither of us really wanted it, so I ignore the attention. Let people think what they want." He said.

At Joedyn's kiss he smiled. "No big deal, besides I won't be late.* he assures her, but when he saw Heather he shrugged a bit. " I guess you did. It was a total riot though. " he said, and when she brought up the lipstick, he used his fingers to wipe the stain away. He shook his head and headed towards his class, sitting in the very front as Harlow wrote a few things on the board.

Billie felt Logan's grip on her wrist, but she didn't react to it. She could tell she had caught him odd guard from the get go and it was obvious with the hiss and grab. He released her quickly, and when he answered she just nodded.

This would not go unpunished. As much as she didn't want the demonic following she had, she knew when to use it. Now, she had to show that she didn't take defiance. She couldn't let the other demons think that they could Get away with this shit. The fued had died down, granted neither side would surrender, but the majority of the violence has stopped.

Logan's comment caused her to turn towards him briefly, and she whispered back. "For what I'm thinking I don't need to go near him. You know I have a reputation to uphold, and my demons can't think they can fall out of line. Besides, Adrian will learn his place." She said, her eyes flashing black before she closed her eyes.

"The violence had halted, and I know this will just stir it up again. I worked too hard to get it to die off for it to go back to where it was." She said, and she saw that they were learning about limbo. She could completely space out there and have Claey help her if she wanted to. She just couldn't focus, her rage was a downfall, and she could feel her sides tearing at each other. Both sides wanted different justice. Her angelic half wanted to dish out private punishment, and her demonic half was borserlining murder. But what she had in mind was likely to appease both halves of herself.

She leaned back her eyes forward as she listened as Professor Morgan went on.

Molly shook her head a little bit at his words about Billie. "Yeah, I don't think I could believe that Billie was ever afraid to use her powers." She said with a bit of a scuff as she looked at the other people that were just now coming into the class. "I've seen some of the things she has done to people that piss her off." She said looking back at Adrian, his head already down already down on his desk. Molly frowned a bit at this before starting to dig through her bag.

Though she looked up through her lashes as the whispering about the demons and vampires. A smile creeping on her face though she looked back at her bag instead of at Adrian. "You make yourself known fast don't you cutie." She said softly with a small laugh, though she was a little sad that she didn't get to watch him play with Logan. His question made her actually look up at him, a small smirk on her face. "You mean enough of not a bust to actually please him? Nope. Now you know why I refuse to recruit.” She answered shaking her head a little still smiling getting a bit of enjoyment out of his struggle.

“Other than the demon girl in ALD Florence, Justin, and Randa. There is this guy named Garrett that is Billie and Alex's friend, he is a demon skin walker hybrid." She offered making sure to keep her voice low, before going back to looking in her bag. "I heard that he is coming back this year, have no idea what dorm he is in now that you’re roomed with Justin, or if he is even here yet. So you'll have to find a way to ask Justin. I would ask but I want nothing to do with that selfish asshole."

Molly pulled a green vial with clear liquid in it out of her bag and sat it on his desk, before putting her bag on the floor. “There that is going make your headache better at least, I don’t have the stuff to help the weakness thing on me, consider it payment for bringing my necklace.” She looked him over before reaching over and letting her fingers brush against his arm lightly. “As attractive as it kind of is seeing you in pain, it’s not the fun bedroom kind and you’re not being the most fun to play with right now.” She said before the teacher finally came in getting her attention.

--

Logan frowned a little bit rolling his eyes at Billie, even with her eyes being black. "Yes, Billie I know you have a reputation to uphold and that this could make your demons fall out of line. But that has nothing to do with why I am asking you to stay away from him." He said slightly annoyed, Billie and her damn need to control her reputation. Logan was starting to wonder why he had even bothered listening to Cole in the first place.

He simply looked at out of corner of eye as she talked about the violence being halted. He had worked hard on his side to stop the attacks as well and knew she wasn't going to be to thrilled that Jackie knew about this either. "Yeah so about that." Logan said slowly before looking at her and frowning. "I think you should be the first to know, you're right and there are going to be repercussions, Jackie knows about me being attacked."

"Mr. Smith." Morgan said getting Logan's attention. Morgan readjusted his glasses with a sigh, though he didn't mind talking durning class him preferred it not to be while he was talking. "Perhaps you would like to tell us why Limbo is different from Purgatory."

Logan smile a bit , he had spent so much time around Clary that it would made this part of the class easier that then the heaven and hell part. "Limbo is where the dead who die without sin but were not baptised go. While Purgatory is where souls go to wait for their fate and see if they go to hell or heaven." Logan answered.

Morgan stared at him for a moment before nodding. "That is correct." He answered frowning a bit a bit before going back to teaching the glass. "Now for these in the class that are ghosts or do not know anything about them those two Realms.....

Logan closed his eyes letting his head lean back again, this burn must be worse than he thought, because it still hurt like a mother fucker. He sat there quietly half listening to Morgan talk for a few moments, before opening his eyes and trying to move the collar of his shirt away from the burn. "By the way, B. I would like that shirt back from last night or at least one of the others you've stole." He laughed his voice low so only she could hear.
