Adrian listened to Molly for a moment before he realized something. No one here had even bothered to learn what made people really tick. That would come in handy in his little task here. Learning what really made people tick was how he had gotten in so far with Azrael. He used it to his advantage, and when you know what someone wants, it isn’t at all hard to get them to join you. It’s how his recruiting outside the school had gone so smoothly, but he was never around such a high capacity of supernatural beings all at once.

When Molly gave him the vial, he gave her an odd look before sinking it’s contents with a thankful nod. The weakness would wear off in time, but that headache was a killer. Then Molly said something that made him chuckle. “Oh? The fun bedroom kind…. That’s not actually pain though, that’s pleasure.” he said with a smirk ad the teacher came in. The man looked like he had been through a lot already that morning. His hair was disheveled, eyes tired, and his clothes a bit worse for wear. After he caught a few looks his body shifted forms into a cleaner looking version of the man he just was.

“Alright class, welcome to supernatural history. I’m a new teacher for this subject, as Madam Delia has had emergencies come up back home. I am Professor DuPage.” He told them as he wrote his name across the board and soon Adrian saw another guy passing out textbooks and worksheets. “That is my assistant, Kingsley. So, pay him no mind.”

A shifter that could summon a familiar? That was almost unheard of, but Adrian took the book and worksheet and saw what they would be working on. The supernatural wars, starting with vampires and werewolves. Adrian rose his hand and DuPage nodded to him. “Why are we starting with the wars? I thought we started with creation.”

DuPage laughed, “Creation of the races isn’t precise history and whoever told you it is was stupid or has been around long enough to see the supernatural races become created. Either way, I start with the wars because they are solid fact, and, well, let’s face it… war makes everything a bit more interesting.” He smiled a bit before Kingsley shifted into a black cat and sat on DuPage’s desk in a watchful manner. So it wasn’t a familiar? Just an assistant made more sense.

Once DuPage began on the beginning of the vampire and werewolf wars, Adrian looked to Molly. “He is an interesting sort.” He mumbled to her as he started planning. This man was on the list for sure, as much as Azrael may have hated shifters, he was a historian and Azrael valued that. Adrian never understood Azrael’s hatred of shifters, but he also knew that if he didn’t find a good historian he’d be in deep shit too. So DuPage he would work on, and before Adrian knew it class was ending.

--

Billie cast a sidelong glance over to Logan before he told her that Jackie knew about the attack. That steamed her further and her pendant took on a darker glow. Alex would have to know and so would Justin and Randa. This would not end well if the violence spiked as bad as it did the first time. Her mind was definitely heavy, and the fact that Logan had expressed he didn’t want her around Adrian made her wonder more. Perhaps he knew about her flying off the handle last night, but then again he probably didn’t because those who knew had spoke nothing of it. She was sure that it was why Adrian had attacked Logan, to try to get him to back off of her, but what Adrian didn’t realize was that it wouldn’t stop Logan. Just like it wouldn’t stop her.

Logan spoke again, snapping Billie from her thoughts, and she cracked a half smile. “Aw… but Lo, my collection is looking so good now.” She pouted, and she thought a moment. “I’ll send one with Clary. Just have to decide which one you can have back.” She smirked a bit before she absent-mindedly took down a few notes during class.

The class was an easy one for sure, but Billie still found herself taking notes on it, through her subconscious thoughts. She sighed a bit, watching as Morgan wrote a few things on the chalkboard before Billie looked over to Logan. “Lo, I just need you to promise me one thing. Just one… when I severe ties with Adrian you will watch your back a bit more closely. I don’t want this happening again, ever.” She told him, quietly before Morgan looked to her.

“Miss Sanders, perhaps you could tell us about the exception souls.” He said, and she nodded.

“Souls that do not go to limbo or purgatory are called exception souls. Their souls are trapped on earth for one reason or another. They either remain a spirit or become a poltergeist. Spirits are those who still retain their humanity, but poltergeists have become vengeful and evil.” She explained and Morgan nodded.

“To add to that..” he continued and Billie looked back to Logan. “I’m so ready for PE. I need a good vent.”

--

After third period had came and went, PE was beginning, and once everyone was in their gym uniforms, and lined up in the gymnasium, the teacher, Professor Long, was waiting for them with balls lined up down the middle of the gym court. Lucifer and the Arch Mage were still in the gym, but high enough up that they weren’t noticed.

Professor Long looked over the class and he sighed. “Alright class, today, we are playing dodge ball. Now, you are allowed to use your powers for this game, but I need to cover a few ground rules. First, for those who can summon other creatures, it will be illegal during this game.” His eyes went to Billie and a few mages, “Next, lethal force of any sort will not be tolerated, and finally, if a ball goes through you, it still counts as an out.”

Billie looked to Alex before her eyes found Adrian, she was still steamed, and she took her hair out and pulled it up into a high ponytail. “Team captains today will be Clarissa Day, and Colette Evans. You will each pick your teams two at a time, choose wisely.”

Cole and Clary took their places before the group of students and Clary looked to Cole. “Clarissa, you pick first.”

Clary smiled. “Logan and Heather.”

Cole looked to her, and she scanned the crowd. “Billie and Alex.”

Billie looked to Clary and mouthed her something to which she nodded. Clary looked about and picked again. “Adrian and Jackie.”

Cole looked to Billie and she saw the smirk that over took her face when it happened. It would be best this way for sure, but Cole continued on. “Jordyn and Randa.”

As the choosing continued until the last two were on their teams and they set up to begin, but Cole stood beside Billie whose pendant was still burning dark. “Billie, what are you planning?” she asked, quietly, but Billie just gave her a look.

“Leave Adrian to me. Pass it along.” She said, “I have a lesson to teach.” She said, and Alex looked at her.

“Billie, what are you going to do?” Alex asked, watching her eyes blacken.

“Just have my back, brother, trust me, you’ll like it” she said, and Alex noted that she had dug her nail into her skin and he saw the blood as the whistle blew and a few rushed the balls, but Alex tossed his back to Billie, watching as she drew a symbol in her blood on the ball, and she motioned her eyes at Clary who had just gotten out Justin and she moved quickly as Billie launched her ball, hitting Adrian in the chest, a satisfied smirk on her face as he hit the ground, his body convulsing when he had.

What they didn’t know was that was just the beginning of it all, and that if Adrian and Billie were out at the same time much worse would come. She saw Alex throw a fireball at Devin, nearly hitting him, but now that it was on, Alex and Billie did as they always had. Alex tossed her a ball again. “B, you got defense?” he asked her, his eyes looking to Jo.

“Yeah I’ve got the both of you… for now.” She said. Now for the heat of battle.

Molly couldn't help but give a smile at Adrian's reply to her suddle flirting with him, looking at him from the corner of her eye. His words answering a personal question that she had been wondering, but wasn't going to ask herself. After all she wasn't like the sirens or succubae, she wouldn't come right out and ask someone she barely knew to her bed, not with everyone else around anyway. She didn't have time to say anything about his reply before the teacher came in.

DuPage wasn't anyone that had been Molly's teacher before, though she had seen him around before. She did have a slight problem with Skinwalkers though. Either way it didn't take her long to seriously wonder if she would hate this class as much as thought she would. After all creation truly was the most boring part of history, starting on the wars would be much more interesting. She glanced at Adrian when he spoke to her, and nodded. "I suppose so, if you like skinwalkers." She answered quietly.

The way he said interesting made her a little skeptical of how good Adrian was, Azrael had said he was good at his job when Molly had seen him before they met. However, no one had even thought of corrupting a teacher. Either he was foolishly going to get caught as soon as he got here, or he was really good enough to pull off getting a teacher on their side.

"Be careful, Adrian. If you are thinking what I think you are." She warned her voice sounding serious suddenly. Because if the arch mage were to get involved, she wouldn't be able to clean up his mess like she could with the students. Soon the class was ending and Molly headed off to her next class.

---

Logan chuckled as Billie pouted, a smirk on his face. Honestly he wasn't quite sure how many of his shirts she had stolen. Either from truth or dare, from the few times they played strip poker, hell even he got wasted and took them off willingly, but he didn't doubt that she had a collection by now. "You have more of my shirts than I do, B." He said shaking his head still laughing. Logan nodded when she said that she would send one by Clary, before looking back and Morgan paying attention.

He frowned at the board and opened his book for the first time, having no idea what exception souls he wrote on the board were. He glanced at Billie and sighed. "I can promise that I will watch my back. But not that I won't try to beat his ass if he gives me a reason." He said to her looking back down at his book. It was the best she would get from him at this point.

It seemed like Morgan had it out for them today, though they had been talking the whole class, so he guessed it was fair. He listened as Billie explained exception souls to the class. Perhaps tomorrow Morgan would remember this and not keep trying to make them look stupid. He smirked a little at what she said about PE. "Not that you'll get much of a chance. We both know gym is the place I'm without a doubt always the domanite of us." He said with a cocky grin.

---

Finally third period was over and it was time for PE. As soon Logan saw the dodge balls lined down the middle of the gym he smiled. If there was any class that Logan had a chance to excel in, it would be PE. It being the only class that relayed on speed and strength instead of knowledge. Not to mention that Long was good at keeping things fair. Logan grined being picked first and stood beside Clary, Heather standing beside him.

Though when Clary made her next picks, both he and Heather gave her a look, though the one from Heather was for a different reason than Logan. "Really? Jackie? Are we trying to lose, love?" Heather said frowning a little bit. Knowing how bad Jackie was at sports, as she had a habit of running from dodge balls instead of throwing them. Molly and Devin ended up on their team as well.

Jordyn gave a small smile herself when Cole picked her, usually she was picked last even though she was good at this game. Standing beside Alex, she glanced up at him, before watching g the rest of the team get picked. A few of the other UnSeelie ending up their team along with Amber.

When everyone rushed to the balls Jordyn took a small step back, everyone always went for the balls first, and she wasn't near as fast as the others standing on her feet. She was allowed to use her powers, so like the others faes in the class were already, she let her wings out. The black see through wings hardly visible, the only sigh that she was flying was that her feet weren't quite touching the hard floor. As Clary was getting Justin out, Jackie hurled her ball at Alex however, it missed him and almost hit Jordyn, who caght it and made her the second person out.

Logan looked back at the guy that who had attacked him convulse on the floor with a smirk, enjoying seeing Billies punishment. Though he couldn't watch for very long, as Alex's fire ball missed Devin and came extremely close to hitting him. He stoped smirking at Alex a little bit because he missed him, and moved back to the front. Looking at Devin, Logan nodded towards Billie. Devin smiled nodding before throwing a ball at Billie purposely missing, Logan throwing his ball quickly at Billie getting her out.

Clary wasn’t surprised at the remarks she got when she chose Jackie and Adrian together, but what got her was that it went unacknowledged for a while. She thought of that as a good thing, hoping that none of the vampires she picked would know that it was a favor to Billie. Despite the fact that she was close to Logan, most of the vampires didn’t like her. Namely Jackie. Her eyes fluttered over to Logan as she picked her last two and saw as Salazar and Drakon, who had been left for last, walked over to Cole’s team.

All she could do was hope that Logan didn’t get too mad at her. He had asked her to stay away from him, which Clary had absolutely no problem doing, but she knew that Billie had something up her sleeve. She wanted to see it, as twisted as it was, and once they were told to line up, she looked to her left and saw Sally, the only other demon on her team, and one who actually kind of like her. “So, Clary, what’s up with the anarchy?” she asked, and Clary smiled.

“Well, got to switch it up sometimes. One of these days we’ll get Billie and Alex separated though. Everyone always picks them together because they are a good team.” Clary smiled. “I would love to see them go head to head.”

Sally chuckled and shook her head. “No you don’t.” Sally said, and Clary raised a brow. “You weren’t hanging around us when they had their last big falling out. Needless to say, it wasn’t a good time for the demon group. We still had the vampires though, so we didn’t have to choose sides, if it were to happen now though, it’d be bad.”

Clary shook that thought from her mind as the game began, and as she was going on her game, she saw the look on Billie’s face, and she moved, watching as the ball that Billie had launched hit Adrian, and once he hit the ground he began convulsing. Clary now wondered what she had done. Billie wasn’t ever kind to those who defied her order, as she had heard, but if this was how it was beginning, she knew one thing. It would get worse.

She watched as Adrian finally managed to get off the floor and over to the bench, and Jackie was out too. They were down two people, but she saw Logan get Billie out and she laughed. “Good hit Lo!” She called to him. She then saw a ball heading her way and quickly caught it, looking to see who she could bring back in. She would have chosen Adrian, but he still looked in pain. “Jackie! Come on!” she called.

-

Cole wasn’t sure if she liked how this was going to go. She had noticed the small look exchanged between Clary and Billie before Clary had selected Adrian as a member of her team. Of course, she knew it was for the best; with as fickle as Billie’s aura was around him and with as dark as he was, it was best to keep him on the opposite side of the playing field. Still, the exchange set her on edge, and once the game began she saw why.

Cole always hung back in these games, better at long range throws and catching than up close and personal. She watched what Billie did to Adrian, but once Billie was out too, something rang in Cole’s mind. Like a bell. She needed to get Billie back in the game. That much was certain.

-

Billie felt the ball hit her after dodging Devin’s ball, and she saw it was Logan who got her out. A smirk came over her face as she shook her head and sat on the bench, not too far from Adrian, but not close enough to make it obvious that they were talking.

“What the hell was that all about?” Adrian hissed, rubbing his chest and then rubbing his head that had hit the floor pretty hard when he began convulsing. Billie was silent and he actually turned his head to her, seeing something out of the corner of his eye that he didn’t like. Lucifer was here. That made things all the more difficult for him. Obviously Billie hadn’t noticed yet, but still he kept his head turned to her.

“I warned you.” She spoke, quietly, taking the blood that was slowing coming from the tip of her finger and drawing a symbol on her other hand. “You disregarded me, so you must be shown what it means to defy me.”

She turned her head to him, and she placed the hand she had drawn the symbol on to his temple, and she watched as he fell back to the ground from his seated position, watching as he began convulsing again. The convulsions, however, were much more violent, and they weren’t stopping, and she smirked. “You may have known me once upon a time, Adrian, but things change. I changed.” She began, seeing Professor Long looking over, so she wiped a pathway through the blood and Adrian stopped convulsing, gasping for air after. He fixated Billie with a hard look, but before Billie could speak again Cole called out to her.

“Billie! You’re back in!” she shouted. Billie got up, and when she did, she looked down to Adrian.

“To be continued.” She commented, her eyes turning black when she did, the sadistic smirk that came over her face could have scared anyone who knew her, she was sure.

When she got back in, Cole pulled her to the side. “Billie, you need to calm down.” She whispered to her, and Billie gave her a look, but when she did, her eyes returned to normal when she saw who was up in the bleachers. Lucifer? And Ash? That put her on edge, but it calmed her immediately seeing him. Lucifer knew how she could get and if it would have gotten out of hand he would have stepped in the middle of them, but now Billie was aware of his presence. She could still get her point across, just not in the way she had wanted to.

“Alright, Cole.” Billie said, and she saw a ball heading their way and she levitated another ball near them to knock into it and it went through Clary, and Clary went over to the bench. “Stay by me, Cole, I’m a defensive player.” Salazar and Drakon soon found their way over too, and Cole nodded.

“So are we.” Cole smiled, feeling Billie calming, slowly. She launched a ball and Billie saw it almost hit Sally and she looked impressed.

“Me and you so need to work out together.” Billie chuckled.

-

Alex watched the play that Devin and Logan had pulled to get Billie out, but Alex briefly caught the look that his sister gave before he had to get back in the game. He turned to Jordyn, backing up a bit to stand beside her. “So, I have to be honest, I am not the greatest at defensive playing.” He admitted to her, picking up a ball and watching as it lit on fire as he threw it to the other side. Very few people tried to catch fire balls unless they were a fire elementalist or a mixed with dragon or something, so he always lit his balls on fire to try to keep himself from getting out with a ball being caught.

He managed to dodge another ball before he got back into the game, a wicked smile on his face as his eyes blackened over, but he did see a few people on their team get out. It was then he noticed the nature of the game. Almost all of the demons were on one side and almost all of the vampires on the other. The blood feud was embodying itself in this game which made things a little more risky for him, and it made him watch after Jordyn a little more closely too. Though the vampires might not have known, it was still something he didn’t want to risk.

His eyes went over to Billie when Cole called her back, and he watched her stay with Cole, and Alex cursed a bit. He and Billie were a better team together, but he would have to deal without her, and once Devin threw another ball heading towards Cole and Billie he saw Billie at least presumably will another ball to ram it out of the way. It was going to be a crazy game that was for sure.

He looked to Jordyn. “Wanna help me?” he asked, motioning over to Devin.

Heather had went about setting up a sort of meat wall in the beginning of the game with a couple big hunky guys, that she could duck behind when the balls came towards her. Though it was not only causing her team to get more people out, but it was starting to break down, as one after another they would be forced out. Logan and Clary were both in front of her and that made it a little more easy for her to bring up the rear. Logan got Billie out, and honestly Heather wasn't paying attention at first. Throwing a ball towards the other team leader, her eyes caught what was happening on the bench and she completely missed the fact that her ball was caught, only realizing when Long said she was out, and she saw Cole holding her ball calling Billie back in.

She let out an annoyed grumple as she walked off the court and towards the benches. She looked down at Adrian on the floor frowning because he was in her way, before simply stepping over him to get to the bench behind him and next to one of the witches that her happened to be friends with. "Better move, love. Before someone just steps on your head." Heather said with sigh before taking her seat as Jackie once again got out. "Come on Bitchpire damn!" She yelled out, making Jackie hiss and flip her off.

--

Logan glanced over at Clary when she yelled out at him, he hadn't been happy with her picks for their team, namely Jackie and Adrian. Jackie because she sucked at dodgeball or really anything that had to do with throwing, running, being a team player, or basically anything that she wasnt getting attention for. Adrian was what had pissed him off and caused the dirty look that she had gotten, he didn't want to have to worry about Clary being around him, hell Logan had wanted him on the other team so he could pelt him.

Still it helped that he realized it had been so Billie could punish him, and though he still wasn't the happiest about the picks. He looked over at Clary and smirked before seeing Billie smiling and shaking hernhead. If the two groups weren't in bad terms or the other weren't around them, he would make a smartass comment about how easily he could get her out.

After Billie was out he set his sighs to getting out a few more of the demons, which wasn't to hard to do. He was going to go after Alex next, those fire balls were hell, but it seemed like he wasn't the best at actually defending himself. Though it seemed he backed up so that Jordyn who seemed almost at good at this game as Billie, so that she could protect him. Which might have been a smart move but wouldn't go unnoticed by the other vampires either. Normally the vampires were at least civil enough not to go after the demon's girlfriends or boyfriends if they dated another race, kind of an unspoken code. Though with the way the game was going and the tension that was raising, it was hard to tell what the others would do.

Billie was brought back in quicker then he expected, and it missed his focus up a little, his attention being split between her and the others. He might have been fast but she hit hard. He caught a ball and called Heather back in, as she got back in the game, Billie hit a ball through Clary. Well now he was fucked. Logan frowned throwing a fast ball at Alex, hoping to catch him off guard while he was looking at Jordyn, what he didn't expect was her to catch it. Long blow the whistle calling Logan out, and he stood there for a minute completely shocked before going to sit on the benches and next to Jackie.

--

Jordyn was actually enjoying herself, and didn't think anything about Billie getting out, not having realized that Alex had even asked his sister to protect her as well. She was able to defend herself however, she was a defensive player, it was just start to stay back from the front lines. It made it harder for the other team to get you but if you watched the front line closely, you could know when to move or get ready to catch a ball. Her eyes flickered to Alex as he backed up towards her, a small smile on her lips.

It spread a bit wider as he talked, because she couldn't help but find it amusing that went to her instead of the other demons in the front when Billie was out. "That's cause you're tall." She said with a slight giggle smiling at him watching him dodge one of the balls. She watched as he lit the ball he held on fire and throw it, watch it make the people on the other side scatter before looked back at him. "It's okay I'm a defensive player, I got you." She said throwing her ball at Jackie getting her out as Billie was brought back in.

She half expected Alex to leave her side and go team up with Billie and Cole, but instead he stayed beside her and asked her to help get the other vampire that helped put Billie out. As she turned her head to answer him, she saw a flash of red rubber out of the corner of her eye and out of instinct she opened her hand and blow fairy dust a little ways in front of where Alex stood. When Logan's ball hit the dust it changed directions and went towards her as she opened her hands. It hurt her hands and wrist when she caught Logan's fast ball, but her first instinct was to protect Alex from getting hit. She handed the ball still slightly hot from the speed to Alex shaking her hands as Long called Logan out. After a moment she called her sister Tiffany back in.

Across the court Devin frowned watching Jordyn hand the ball to Alex, he hadn't been sure at first on if the skinny little redhead fae was with the demons or just on their team at first. But the way that Alex stood so close to her protecting her and the fact she gave him Logan's it was clear that they were together. Normally he wouldn't care as much but the asshole had been trying to get him out the whole game, and despite the no girlfriends or boyfriends rule Logan held so tightly. After Alex threw the next ball at him and Devin dodged it he launched his ball at the little redhead.

The other vampire's ball hit Jordyn in her lower stomach with a harder force then the others had been thrown, and because she was using her wings and her feet weren't on the ground when it hit, it sent her flying back a little ways. She barely had time to pull in her wings to keep them from breaking before she hit the ground, her head and back landing hard enough to make her dizzy and knock the air at of her. Her arm going to her stomach as she land there for a second gasping for the air she had lost. Professor Long blew the whistle stopping the game and going to help Jordyn up, Amber and Tiffany helped to pick her up on one side as she finally started to catch her breathe. She looked around to see everyone looking at her. Jordyn's eyes narrowed at the vampire, who was laughing, though it was quiet it was still see able. "Jordyn? Are you alright?" Amber asked.

Logan and Jackie were both standing, angry looks on their faces as well as the other vampires that were out, but it was to make sure the redhead was okay. The vampires on the other team had moved away from Devin. Logan ruled over the vampires in the same way as Alex did with Billie, Jackie might have been the main person in charge, but Devin had broken one of the rules in front of everyone.

Jordyn looked at Amber frowning. "No, I'm not alright! My stomach hurts and that fucking blood sucking parasite got me out of the game. Stupid." She snapped at her jerking her arm away from Amber, Tiffany, and Long before calming down a little and looking back at Amber. "I'm sorry, I'm fine." She corrected before going to take a step and feeling her head pound and dizzy, she leaned a little on Alex before looking at him and muttering she was fine again before going tho the benches.

The game was surely getting interesting as people were getting out and coming back in at a more steady pace. Once Heather made her comment, Adrian found enough strength to get up on the bench. The pain started to go away as he took deeper breaths, but when he looked up he saw Logan coming out. What his eyes caught next caused him to stand too. The little redhead that Alex had been hanging around the night before got hit hard, and he saw something in Alex’s eyes before he headed over to the girl. The game had been stopped, and Alex, a demon whose eyes he had never seen stay a solid black unless he was pissed were solid black.

He sat back down, seeing Clary move over to where Alex was leading Jordyn.

Alex wasn’t at all happy. Every fucking issue went back to Devin and without Logan in, there was nothing to stop Alex from damn near killing him. His eyes remained a solid black, and he could feel the fire in his veins, a small trickle of it showing in his left wrist. He heard Jordyn mumble she was fine, he looked to her. He helped her sit down, and he saw Clary coming over.

“Jo, please just take it easy.” He said, handing her his glasses, trying to keep from looking directly at her. “And hang onto these for me.” He said, and Clary looked to Alex.

“Don’t do something stupid, Al.” she said but Alex began walking back on the floor, and she could see his glowing wrist. Clary sat with Jordyn more or less hoping it would help Alex calm knowing she wasn’t alone. Alex was one of the most protective people she knew and he cared about Jo, she could tell. But he was also irrational with how he dealt with this stuff. Clary saw Billie going with Alex. At least she could probably stop him, but Clary hadn’t ever seen Alex this angry. She’d only heard about it.

When things blew up with Devin and started the feud, she had been gone for the week to recharge. Now she understood why it had gotten so bad. Alex couldn’t control his temper and Devin was a douchebag.

Billie had watched it happened, and when she saw Alex she knew. “Fuck.” She cursed. She looked at Cole, and Cole was looking at the scene when the game stopped. “Cole, we have to find a way to either get Logan back in or Devin out quickly. Alex… he’s gonna kill him if he gets a chance.” Billie said, watching her brother and Jo heading over to the bench. When he handed her his glasses, she saw his eyes.

Billie followed after Alex as they went back to the line to restart the game. “Al,” she said, seeing the fire moving up his arm. “You have to calm down.”

“I will once that prick gets what he deserves.” Alex spoke, darkly, and once the whistle blew to restart, Billie held Alex back and he looked to her. “Let me go Bill.”

“You aren’t thinking clearly, Al. Calm the Fuck down.” She said, and he broke his arm away from her and headed back onto the field, but what happened next Billie saw in slow motion. A ball, thrown by God knows who hit Alex in the face and his whole body lit up. “Shit. Justin!” she shouted, standing in front of Alex pushing him back. She could see his skin tearing open. Long had blown the whistle again and managed to get everyone off the court in time.

“Stop!” a voice came from Alex in a deep bellow as his hands went into his hair. It was his voice, but much darker, and Billie noticed the fire moving towards Devin , but she saw it stop as Ash stood before them. Justin was hanging back too. “Out of my way!”

Alex pushed Billie out of the way, but she managed to stay on her feet and Blaze and Storm took their positions, snarling at Alex as his skin ripped open more. “Calm the Fuck down! Don’t make me do it, Al!” she warned, and soon Lucifer came down, and Alex looked at him.

“Alex, you need to calm down. Your body can’t take another earthly transition. Your form barely survived the last one, and I’m sure you don’t want to be in hell for any length of time right now for recovery.” Lucifer said, but it wasn’t getting through to him.

“Just let me do it once.” He said, growing slightly taller the more his anger grew. Billie shook her head, her eyes going over black. Once Lucifer saw it, he turned to the large group and snapped his fingers, watching as the demons and demon breeds had symbols appear on their arms in blood.

Billie bellowed in the Ancient language, the same words that she had to Adrian last night, and soon Alex was crumpled to the floor, unconscious. She stopped herself and she brought herself to his side, seeing the rips in his skin gone, and he was back to normal. Her eyes returned to normal, and she gently stroked his hair. “I told you not to make me do it.” She whispered.

“Billie!” Long shouted. “Get him out of here!”

She nodded and snapped her fingers, watching as his form levitated in front of her, and as she got to the vampires, she stopped before Devin who was a bit off from Logan and Jackie. She hit him with a glare. “Next time, I’ll let him rip you apart. Fucking parasite.” She hissed as Blaze and Storm snarled at him, but Ash stood between them and Devin, the sheer size difference noticeable.

Cole walked over to Clary and Jo, the class having been cut short for the day after what happened. “What just happened?” Cole asked, and Clary shrugged.

“I’m not exactly sure, but I do know one thing, had Billie not snapped back into her right mind when she had, Alex would have killed.” Clary said, Cole deciding to help Jo up, and walk with her.

“Before you say you’re fine, I can sense you’re still in pain and would rather you take it a little bit easier so you don’t hurt yourself further.” Cole said before Clary nodded. “Who was that guy anyway?”

“Devin. He pisses Alex off to no end. Like Adrian does.” Clary answered, “I’m just glad Lucie was here. I’ve heard about what Alex can do when he’s angry enough.”

Cole nodded. “I’m pretty sure it didn’t help that he was starting to go into his true demon form.” Cole said, and Clary tossed her a look. “It’s why his skin was tearing open. He was shedding his human form. I’m guessing he’s either had the form for long time or he’s busted out more than once because Lucie said his form couldn’t handle another one.”

-

Once class was called early, Adrian noted the Arch Mage and Lucifer talking. He was still weak, but he needed a few answers himself. “What did Billie do?” he asked when he got close enough.

Lucifer gave him a look and the Arch Mage spoke. “It’s a form of exorcism. It’s why you have blood markings on your arms.”

So she tried to exorcise his demon half last night. “Why didn’t it affect her?” he asked.

Lucifer answered this time. “She was the administrator. Now go.” He said, and when Adrian left Lucifer sighed. “Alex needs to be on careful watch the next few days. That spell is harsh on him, but Billie won’t allow anyone else to do that to him. He’s going to be very weak, easily irritated and he will likely need stuff for pain. Billie’s exorcism spells are a lot stronger than I had thought, but it is for obvious reasons.”

The arch mage nodded. Lucifer spoke again. “I’m going to go find my adopted children and see if I can help in anyway.”

Lucifer left the Arch mage and soon the students were coming out, and Clary managed to catch Logan before the other vampires caught up to him. “I’m going to go check on Billie and Alex.” She whispered, “You know where to find me if you need me.” She said, phasing through the walls and heading off. When she got to their dorm, she heard Alex through the door.

“Fuck Bill! We’ve been over this! You can’t do this to me! Your spell is too strong. You should have let Lucifer do it.” He whined a bit.

“Alex, you nearly went full demon and you’re bitching at me for keeping my promise? You told me to stop you, so I did. Besides, had I not noticed Lucifer when I had I might have let you do it.” She said. “let Logan deal with this. It’s bad enough Adrian rekindled the violence, but that doesn’t mean we can condone it on our side.”

“Devin is at the root of all the issues tho. You don’t let him feed from you to keep your own secret and then he starts shit.” He said, “And then he eggs me on. And the he hurts Jo! He would have deserved it.”

“You sound like Azrael.” She hisses, leaving their dorm, Clary disappearing, but she saw Lucifer enter and she headed to the cafeteria beside Billie.

“Everything okay?” she asked.

“He just needs a class off to let the potion work through him so he’s not super weak. He’s resting. He’ll be fine.” She answered.

“What about you? I was coming to check on you guys and you seem mad when you got out the door. I just went transparent because it startled me.” She said, and Billie nodded.

“I’m fine.” She said. When they entered the cafeteria, Billie sat alone and soon Cole joined her.

The more that she moved the dizzier she seemed to feel. Her back, stomach, and head hurt, but it was nothing in comparison to the pain she felt just moving her body and breathing. Still Jordyn refused to admit the fact she was hurting so much. She tried to tell Alex that she was fine, able to tell just from the look on his face and by the fact his were black that he wasn’t happy. Even though it hadn’t been her fault in anyway, she still almost felt bad for getting hurt, for her it wasn’t too big of a deal really, she was clumsy and between the fights she often had with her sisters and dealing with her own father. Getting hurt was normal for her.

She winced when Alex helped her sit on the bench, looking up at him when he started to talk, and started to take his glasses off. “Alex...”She started noticing him make a point not to look right at her and handing her his glasses cutting her off. Jordyn saw the glow on his left wrist as she reached out and took the glasses. “Alex, I’m fine, really.” She tried to tell him again, Clary tried to talk to him as well sitting beside her, but he simply walked away. Jordyn frowned shifting to stand up, though the sharp stabbing pain in her side made her wince again and sigh deciding against it quickly.

At least there was some hope that maybe his sister could calm him down, as Billie started followinbv him. It was a good thing really that Jordyn wasn't able to move to try and calm him down. She really didn't know what she would be getting herself into, she had never seen a demon get truely pissed off, or start to shread their human form. She watched Billie and it was clear that something bad was going to happen just from the fact that Billie was trying to hold him back. Then the ball hit him in the face and Alex lit and his skin started cracking open, and Jordyn didn't care what might happen to the poor vampire, she just couldn't help but worry only that Alex was in pain.

Logan and Jackie both stayed standing even as the other vampires sat seeing the redhead getting helped up by Alex. Both were pissed off by what Devin had done. Logan not only because Jordyn was his friends girlfriend, or because it broke their rules. But because even if he was a player, and lost his temper sometimes, he still believed that a man should never hit a woman, Devin had done so on purpose. Jackie was pissed because it was disrespectful to broke their rules, and as bad as she wanted the fighting to start again to hurt that bitch Billie, the demons needed to be the ones that started it again, and Devin was screwing it up!

Logan saw Alex's eyes and went to move and pull Devin off the court before the game could start. Or really do anything really to stop what going to happen with him not in the game. However, as he moved Jackie's arm went out in front of his chest stopping him, the other vampires that were watching their leaders for reactions started whispering softly. Logan's red eyes looked over to see Jackie's red eyes glancing back at him. "Don't, he deserves whatever he gets." She growled as Long blew the whistle.

While hitting Alex's little redheaded fae was funny to him when he did it, the fact that Alex had to help her off the court showed that he had actually hurt her. And though he even thought that he hurt her was funny as hell, Devin realized the major screw up reather quickly seeing the reaction of Alex and when he looked over seeing Jackie stopping Logan from coming to save his ass.

Luckily for him Alex didn't have a chance to kill him. Billie and Lucifer who seemed to have appeared from no where stopped him from getting killed by Alex. Billie doing some kind of spell on her brother, which didn't surprise Devin as she was a pshyco bitch that turned on everyone, and likely slept with them too. He stopped as he headed back towards the vampire group as the large hell hound showed up behind him and Billie threatened him. Devin just smirked at her though. "I'm not anymore afraid of your brother now than I was before, hell whore." He answered turning back around and continued on his way to Logan and Jackie, seeing Jackie mutter something to Logan before she went to the girls locker room.

Jordyn saw Logan quickly look her over as he went to talk to the Archmage after the one guy that had been trying to help Billie left, and Devin following the female that was sitting by Logan to the girls locker room, before Cole came over. She quickly looked at Clary when she said that Billie could have killed Alex. The motion of it making her head spin, but she ignored it. "What? Is Alex going to be okay?" Jordyn said with a worried look on her face, she really hated the fact she got hurt a little bit was the reason that Alex was almost killed.

She looked up at Cole as she started to help her up, and though she knew that she couldn't just stay sitting on the bench since class was over, she really didn't want to move. Jordyn fought the urge to wince as Cole helped her up, opening her mouth to once again repeat that she was fine. But Cole stopped her saying she could tell. She frowned looking from her to Clary before bending over to get her bag and making a small noise as the stabbing started again. She peeked up at Cole and sighed sadly nodding, just because she was hurting didn't mean she wanted to be protected or felt sorry for. "Can one of you hand me my bag then please." She said not wanting leave it and her books here.

She didn't really know what to say as the two of them talked about Devin and Lucifer. Having only first heard of Devin earlier that day, and the only thing she knew about Lucifer was that he was the king of demons, or the father of demons, or something along those lines. She looked at Cole when Clary left them to check on Billie and Alex. "I think I need to go to the nurses office. I'm still feeling dizzy and my side hurts." She said finally admitting that she was hurting. "Will you walk with me? That one nurse is a Seelie and she's always rude to me when I go by myself and the shifter nurse will be on break still." She asked and gave a small smile when she agreed.

"You don't think that Alex with will get in trouble with that Lucifer guy do you? I mean I don't know a lot about him, but it was my fault if I wouldn't have gotten hurt he wouldn't have gotten so uposet." She said after a few minutes of silence.

--

After class was over Logan waited for Lucifer and Adrian to leave before approaching the Archmage and asked him to change dorms so that he could room with Clary, claiming she was pretty much a little sister to him, and that he was having trouble with Jackie being his roommate as she kept breaking his bottles. Completely changing the subject when asked about the burn that was still faint on his collarbone.

While he was talking to the Archmage Devin followed Jackie into the girls locker room, so Logan had thought he had already left. Clary caught up to him as he left and Logan nodded his head. "Be careful Clary, Alex is moodier than I am after I flip out." He whispered back to her frowning and then nodded. "Alright I talked to the archmage so if nothing else I'll meet up with you at our dorm later beautiful." He said with a smile before watching her phase through the wall.

Once Clary was gone Logan started looking for Devin, Jackie had told him that she wanted him to deal with putting him back in his place, but honestly he didn't care if she had told him to deal with it or not. The little bastard had pulled a low blow, on a girl, that wasn't even aiming at him. The last fucking thing the vampires needed was another pointless foolish feud to start. He looked over as one of the other vampires caught up to him, and he nodded at the black hair vampire that was actually closer to Logan than Jackie. "What's up Zach?"

"You hear anything about that little fae girl?" He asked frowning.

Logan shock his head, walking toward the cafeteria. "No, but I'm sure that we will hear something about later or tomorrow. If not something about a feud starting with the UnSeelie, then something about the demons attacking us." He answered though he knew Billie wouldn't let that happen. Beside Zach sighed shaking his head. "Fucking Devin is killing us. We really need to get rid of him and Jackie both." Logan laughed glancing at him, before they get into the cafeteria.

His eyes glanced at Billie sitting by herself, before his eyes swept over the room for Devin before frowning. "If you see Devin let me know, I can't find the prick." He said to Zach as they pasted by Billie's table lond enough he knew that she would be able to hear as well.

Cole listened to Jordyn, taking her bag and pulling it over her shoulder with her own before nodding softly at her notion. “Of course. The Seelie nurse quite enjoys my company, and if not I can get Drakon to come with and put her in a good mood.” She chuckled a bit before both bags were taken off her shoulder as a voice came.

“And to answer your question, Miss Mystery Fae, no, Alex won’t get in trouble with Lucifer. If anything, Lucifer will probably just tell him to take it easy. And he should be alright, I saw him after the fact last year when the feud started and he was in way worse shape then. As much as Billie and Alex fight, they always have each other’s backs.” The male voice said, and he shot Cole a smile. “Oh, manners, right, I’m Drakon. Nice to meet you.”

“Don’t mind him, Jordyn, he has a tendency to drop in after being talked about.” Cole said, and she watched as Drake opened the door for them, the infirmary being well placed not far from the gymnasium.

“Hello, Cole, Drakon…” the nurse smiled before lulling her voice, “Jordyn.”

“Our friend here got hurt during gym, you mind us helping her onto a bed here?” Drakon asked before the nurse nodded as Cole helped Jordyn into one of the rooms.

Cole looked at Jo, setting her bag next to the bed. She sat down in a chair for a minute or two before she stood up again. “I’ll be back in a few minutes. I’m going to see if I can’t grab a bite to eat. You want anything?”

After Jordyn answered, she made it back into the lobby where she shot Drakon a look to stay, and he gave a slight nod as Cole headed out and towards the closest cafeteria. When she got there, she grabbed a sack lunch that one of the servers held for her and she spotted Billie and Clary not too far off. Logan and another vampire had just walked past her table, and once Cole got over there she smiled to them a bit before sitting down a moment.

-

Clary really didn’t have time to show her excitement at Logan moving in, but she was. And she didn’t really have time to react to Billie just walking off from her, seeing as she had disappeared the moment she saw Lucifer heading into the dorm that Billie and Alex shared, his hell hound standing guard outside the door. Clary took her leave there, sitting beside Billie just moments before Cole spotted them and she looked at Billie’s face. “Babe, you okay? That can’t have been easy.”

Billie shot her a look and sighed. “I could have killed my brother trying to stop him, and he’s being ungrateful. Believe me, my moods have been better. And to top it off, my ex started it all over again. I should have let Alex do it, I so should have.” She vented, and Clary was a bit surprised. “But it’s all going to be okay eventually. It will be taken care of.”

Clary nodded and looked to Cole as she sat down. “Make it to the nurse with Jo alright?” Clary asked. Cole nodded.

“She’s more worried about Alex.” Cole said and Billie sighed. “You should go see her, you may be the only one that puts her worries to rest, outside Alex.”

Billie nodded a bit and stood, Clary and Cole doing the same. “And I could have a little bit of recon done.” She said, looking towards Randall and Justin with a certain look and the two nodded and left the cafeteria too. She headed with Cole and Clary to the nurse and Clary gave a smile.

“Good news though. Logan is now my new roommate.” Clary smiled, and Billie nodded.

“Good. Finally he’s away from bitchpire.” Billie said, and once they were to the nurse, Drakon was still flirting with the Seelie nurse, but she halfway froze when she saw her. The nurse nodded to her.

“What’s the matter, Billie?” she asked, but soon the shifter nurse came in.

“I’m just here to visit Jordyn.” Billie said, and she followed Cole into the room that she helped Jordyn into. Billie looked her over. “How you feeling?” she asked, “I have to say, gave us quite a scare.”

Clary then piped up. “Alex is awake. Just a little weak right now, right B?” she said and Billie gave a nod.

“I do apologize if he scared you. Our tempers are our downfall, and he is protective by nature. Once he cares about someone he will do anything to protect them, and when they get hurt he takes it almost personally because he thinks he didn’t do a good enough job.” She explained. “He should be up and moving get around soon though.”

Lucifer came in not much after that and Clary moved away, seeing him smile to Jordyn. “Hello, you must be Jordyn. I must say I haven’t seen Alex get so worked up in a long time over something like this. You must be very special to him.”

Lucifer then placed a small vial on the bedside table. “It’s a healing acceleration potion. If you choose to take it if not hold onto it in case you need it. Sorry to cut this short, but Alex asked me to check on you. He is quite worried about you.”

He shot a look to Billie as he headed out and Billie left the room just after him and Clary sighed. “What class you have next? I can tell your teacher that you won’t be in if you want.”

-

Alex woke in stir in his bed, seeing Billie had changed into one of her other uniforms as they had their conversation. Her last words hit him hard. She knew that he had made every choice possible to not end up like their father, and hearing her say he sounded like him, he was a little hurt. He didn’t have much time to linger on it though, Lucifer having come into the room. Alex looked to him and looked to see Ash wasn’t in the room with them.

“How are you feeling?” he asked and Alex sighed, sitting up.

“A little weak, tired, a little pissed still, but other than that alright. Why did you let Billie do it? You know she’s getting stronger, even if she’s not accepting it still.” Alex said and Lucifer sighed a little.

“Because I do try to respect her wishes on certain matters. How we neutralize you when you go off like you did is one of them. I’m just glad to see your form is holding.” He said, “Though, you have another break like that, we’ll have to get you into your next form. Just glad that you have one already picked out. It’s so difficult to find them for Billie. Have to be able to possess both angel and demon.” He said, shaking his head a bit.

Alex nodded. “I know. Will you do me a favor? Will you go check on Jordyn? I didn’t want to scare her. Devin just pisses me off. He’s the reason there’s a feud between us and vampires here.” He said, and Lucifer nodded.

“I will leave Ash with you then.” He said, taking his leave, and Alex watched as the hound laid on the ground beside his bed. He laid back down and closed his eyes a bit, trying to sleep off his pain.

-

Once Lucifer had left the room that Jordyn was in, Billie followed, willing Blaze to stay with Jordyn as Storm followed her. She and Lucifer walked for a few moments before they entered the gym again, Storm checking and making sure that they were alone before Lucifer motioned for her sit in front of him in the middle of the floor, as he snapped his fingers and symbols appeared around them to ensure that their conversation was completely private.

“Yes, Lucifer?” she asked. He looked at her and she rose a brow.

“Your demon powers are quite strong, and you’re growing stronger, but also more unstable. The Arch Mage told me of three incidents last year where he had to step in to keep your secret, and an incident already this year where you have lost grip. You need to accept the fact you are half angel soon otherwise the consequences could be grave.” He said, sternly. “Not to mention I wasn’t very happy with your display with Adrian either.”

She gave a small roll of her eyes. They were both speaking in the old demonic language, another added measure for privacy, and her next words caused Lucifer to sigh. “I am a leader here. Adrian broke my rules, if I didn’t punish him, the others would think that they could get away with this as well. I have to keep them in line, especially knowing about the cages.”

“You also know that the more you use your demonic powers without balancing them, you put yourself at higher risk for another incident.” He reminded her and Billie just sighed.

“And if I make it know, you know that legions of angels will be after me, especially once they find out about the cages.” She said, and Lucifer gave her a stern look.

“Billie, you are special. Both light and dark, and though you may never want to show your angelic half, you need to at least accept it and learn from it. I fear what it could do if Azrael surfaces.” He said, and he saw her eyes flash. “Your angelic half will overtake, just as it did in hell when he tried to kill you. Then there is no hiding. If you accept it, you may be able to save yourself some headache.”

“I’m aware. It’s the fail safe. But I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it, it’s still too risky here, especially now with Adrian. He’s got a silver tongue, and a hot temper.” She said, and Lucifer stood as Billie did, kissing her forehead.

“I worry for you, dear. Just be careful.” He said, “And the pups are here.”

She gave a soft smile. “Bring them to the dorm, Blaze will be happy to see them.”

Jordyn smiled at Cole as she walked the fact she wouldn't have to deal with that annoying Seelie helped her feel a little better. At the moment the Seelie and UnSeelie where still a little harsh towards each other, it was only five years since their tenth war had come to an end after all. "Thanks Cole I really appreciate it." She said before someone took the bags from Cole, and Jordyn gave the man that had simply grabbed her bag from Cole a strange look because she didn't know him.

Though when he introduced himself as Cole's friend, and not some random strange person who walked over taking their bags and butting into their conversion. Jo gave him a sort shy smile. "Jordyn, nice to meet you too." She answered back quietly introducing herself as well. She smiled a little at Cole and nodded, as Drakon held the door open for them. Even though the Seelie's voice seemed nice when she said Jordyn's name it was so fake that Jo didn't even bother to answer back.

She followed Cole into one of the rooms, making a face as she felt the throbbing in her ribs when she sat down. Instead of moving around or sitting back she simply sat on the edge of the bed. It still hurt a little to sit up straight without any support on her back, at the same time she had a feeling she knew what was wrong. That she wouldn't be able to be quiet with the pain it would cause to move around to get comfortable. She gave a small smile up at Cole trying pretend she was in pain when she asked if she wanted anything. "If you could bring me a piece of pizza. I would love you for like three of my years." She joked a little before watching her leave the room.

As Cole left Jordyn lifted her shirt to look at her side in the mirror across from the bed. Her left side from the side of her breast down to her hip was colored red, black, and blue. Jo let out a small painful sigh as she dropped her shirt down and shook her head, only to stop feeling dizzy. It wasn't the first time that Jo had gotten her ribs broken, but usually it wasn't durning her time at school.

She could still hear Drakon outside talking to the nurse, and though she couldn't help the painful whippers that came from moving around to steal the blanket and pillow from the other bed making a place for her to lean back on against the wall. She tried to keep them quiet as she grabbed her bag and putting it beside her as she leaned back as well as the pull up table so she wouldn't have to move very much. She pulled out her Co Existing with Humans book and a few notes, starting to read as she waited for the shifter nurse to get in.

Jordyn really didn't expect Cole to bring Clary and Billie back with her, it made her feel slightly self-conscious about herself, and how weak she looked to be hurt a little. Still she gave a fake smile when Billie asked how she was feeling. "I keep telling you guys that I'm fine." She repeated herself once more only to frown and sigh when Billie said she had scared them. "I'm sorry, really Billie I'm fine. At worst I'm pretty sure I have a few broken ribs." Jo said softly feeling bad that she made them worry about her. "Is Alex okay?"

She looked to Clary before blushing at the words Billie was saying about Alex caring for her and shook her head slowly. "He didn't scare me really, I was just worried it hurt him. I'm glad that he will be alright then." Jo said a relived look on her face, in fact as weird as it might have been, scared was the fairest thing from what she was. Soon the man that they had said was Lucifer came into the room too, and she gave an awkwardly shy smile toward him blushing even more at him saying that she had to be special to Alex. "Oh, um thank you. And I'm fine." She said softly when he gave her a healing acceleration potion before leaving.

Jo looked up at Clary after Billie and Lucifer left the room, about to tell her that she was perfectly able to go back to her classes. When the the shifter nurse came in. "Yes, Jo would really appreciate that. As I will be keeping her here to be sure she doesn't have a concussion from hitting her head on the floor." She said her voice nice yet stern and she had another pillow in her hands, sitting it the edge of the bed before walking back out. Jordyn frowned a little watching the nurse before sighing. "I have history with Delia. If its not to much of a hassle could you get my book for me to?" She asked her tone a little sad, it was bad enough she was hurt but now she was going to miss the first day at the class.

After Cole and Clary left as well Jordyn let out a slow sigh starting to eat her pizza. She really wanted to get up and go check on Alex herself. But something told her he would need rest, plus the nurse wouldn't let her leave either way. She felt a nudge at her leg and smiled down at Blaze. "Hey there Blaze, you want up here?" Jo asked, her voice picking up a little at the sight of the hound before moving her legs so Blaze could have room. Tearing off a piece of crust with some cheese and sauce, she leaned with the bite in her open palm. "Are you allowed to have people food? Don't lie now and get me in trouble." She said laughing a little bit. Once the bite was taken she started softly petting the hound talking to it like she was a person. "Can I tell you a secret, and you not tell anyone because its weird?" She asked softly her nails gently scratching behind Blaze's ears. "When Alex was mad and all lit up like his hell fire. He was kind of pretty."

--

The other vampires were whispered to themselves as Logan and Zach walked up to the table however, it came to a stop as the two of them sat down. Logan sighed looking around the table at them. "Well?" He asked and one of the girls, Rose, spoke up. "Do you know if that little fae girl is okay? We was tempted to ask Billie, but was afraid it could taken wrong." She whispered the last part quietly beside Logan where only he could hear.

Logan shook his head looking over at her before around the table. "I haven't heard anything about the fae, I know that Clary and Cole helped her out of the gym but that's all." He said with a sigh. "Like I told Zach, I'm sure that we will hear something about later or tomorrow. Hopefully there won't a feud started with the UnSeelie over this."

"Little fae got what she deceived dating one of those two." Another vampire said, he had been one of the ones that had been a hundred percent siding with Devin in the feud.

Logan's eyes reddened a bit before they went back to normal, it wasn't the his fault, he was a moron. "I'm sure that if one of the demons had beamed down your Elemental girlfriend." Logan countered calmly, shutting the other vampire up and getting a dirty look. "It doesn't matter who the fae was dating, what Delvin did was uncalled for. None of the demons have ever went after our different raced girlfriends or boyfriends without a cause."

"And that's why when you find Delvin you are going to put him in his place. Right Lo." Jackie said walking taking a sit across from him. Logan looked to her and nodded.

"I plan to, it seems a bit over due. He's forgotten his place, we don't need the feud starting again." He answered before his eyes caught Billie leaving. Logan had really wished that he could have talked to her. Find out if Alex was alright, if Jo was okay, and if there were going to be repercussions for this act. But most of all, most important to him, if she was going to be okay.

"That true, that isn't what we want to start the feud up." Jackie said getting Logan's attention again before she reached across the table and pulled at his collar showing the others the mark from his burn, though now it was simply a little red spot. It no longer hurt and if it hadn't been a dragon that had done it, it would be gone by now. "The fact one of their new blood did this to you for no reason is what is going what causes this again." She said matter of factly, none of the others were surprised to see it. It had been what they were whispering about before.

Logan moved away from her touch frowning. "Jacqueline, leave it alone. It will be taken care of." He said before taking his tray, dumping it, and leaving. He wanted to get his stuff out of his old dorm and into the one he shared with Clary now, before he told Jackie. Logan knew she would be pissed. Honestly, as bad as it might have sounded, he couldn't care less. He knew that Clary was excited to have him as a roommate, even if she didn't have time to show it, and he was actually a little excited too. Though he knew if he told Jackie first she would break everything he had still there.

--

Jackie frowned at Logan when he told her to leave this thing alone with the demons, but there had not been any reason that she knew of. Jackie was smarter than she seemed and sometimes acted.

She knew that Logan didn't have the same level of feelings towards her as she did him. She was also well aware that Logan had the same feelings towards Billie as before, that was why she had started following him, to keep him safe from that slut. And Jackie wasn't going to sit back and let her Logan get hurt, not do anything about it, like Billie was doing.

Jackie waited until the small group of new blooded demons left the cafeteria before giving a look towards a few of the other vampires at the table. They nodded quietly and and got up following the small group out. A few moments later there was a lot of yelling and fighting in the hall.

If it had been any other two races fighting Heather would have stayed and watched the fight. But instead she went looking for Billie, finding her in the gym, but she couldn't hear her the first time. At least not until the shield or whatever was gone. "Hello, earth to Billie!" She screamed angrily her voice picking up allure as she did on its own. Though she straightened herself up a bit as Billie looked at her. "There's a fight going on and your new toys are getting their asses kinda kicked, love." She said her voice a little quieter.

--

Logan had been moving the things that was important to him first, even though he had the rest of the lunch break and next period which was one of his free. He moved his blood shelf, his drawing stuff, and a few other things into the dorm first. There was still quite a few things of his, an some of his clothes left to move. When Zach came and got him telling him about the fight.

Logan was pissed himself now as he headed towards the hall outside of the cafeteria. He had told her to leave it alone! He told her it would be taken of! Jackie should have listened to him, instead of going and attacking a group of new bloods! When he got to the hall the ArchMage, Harlow, Ravenswood the teacher from BL, and maybe a few other teachers had pulled the groups apart. Harlow and Ravenswood was still with the Archmage and Jackie was angrily saying that this had nothing to do with Devin. Logan started to make his way through the large crowd of vampires that stood really.

Jackie pointed at Billie as Logan made his way to the front. "This is about that bitch having one of her new blood bastards attack Logan this morning when he was coming back to our dorm." She said loudly to the Archmage. "I'm not going to let her have him attacked. I never should have listened to him when he said we should stop fighting."

"I told you to leave this alone Jackie, this is already being taken care of." Logan said his voice gravely and his eyes a dark crimson color from his face it was clear that he was pissed. "I never said that either of the Sanders had anything to do with this."

Clary smiled a little at Jordyn after the shifter nurse became stern and said she would be staying, but once being told what class she had, she nodded. “I can take notes for you too if you’d like. I have the same class.” She offered, but soon, she and Cole decided it was time to head out, let Jordyn rest. After seeing Blaze, they both knew she would be okay.

“See you later, Jo.” Clary said and Cole gave a wave.

“See you round.” Cole said, and she and Clary headed out of the nurse’s office, Drakon not too far behind. “I hope this doesn’t start up more shit between the vampires and demons.” She said, off handed, and Clary nodded.

“Billie and Logan have worked really hard to get it all to stop.” Clary frowned, “Leave it to Devin to…”

Clary words trailed off when he three saw commotion at the other end of the hall, but what got Clary was she saw Heather leaving the scene. She knew that meant one thing…. She was off to find Billie… which meant it was vampires and demons. She grabbed hold of Cole’s hand and navigated her to the front of the crowd, managing to get there as Harlow got kneed in the stomach by a demon trying to pull them away and the Arch Mage putting a barrier between the two. This was bad…

--

Billie sighed a bit once the barrier was take down, but the first thing that came into her ears was Heather’s voice, and her eyes immediately blackened. “You’re fucking kidding me.” She hissed before letting out a low whistle and seeing Storm perk up towards her. “Go to Alex!” she shouted and watched as her hound bounded through the gym and down the hall in a pace nearly as fast as a cheetah.

She broke into a run, her eyes returning to normal for a moment until she got to the crowd around the fight that had just been broken up. Justin and Randa had made a path for her to get through the other demons, and Randa gave her a look. “Should I go get Alex?” she asked, and Billie shook her head.

“No, Storm wouldn’t even let you in the door.” She stated before her eyes befell Adrian, front and center towards the middle of the circle between vampires and demons. She noted the ward put between the vampires and the demons, but her new bloods were still trying to get through it. They were hurt and wanted blood no, but Billie stepped forward, her eyes black, and they froze when she stood in the middle of them.

“All of you, Harlow’s classroom, now .” she hissed, and she watched as Randa and Justin led them away. The Arch Mage lowered the ward a moment too soon it felt because once Jackie words sliced through the air, Billie’s pendant turned completely black. She let out a dark chuckle at her words.

“You really are a fucking dumbass, aren’t you bitchpire?” she said, and she shook her head, walking over to Adrian, biting her thumb hard enough to make it bleed. When she got up to him, she grabbed his hair and pulled his head back, putting a symbol on his throat in her blood as she pulled him with her.

The Arch Mage stepped back, and Harlow gave Billie a look. That symbol was dangerous if not used properly, but also very dangerous if used properly. Both of them knew so long as she had hold on Adrian there was nothing they could do about it. She was paralyzing him with it, and linking herself into his mind to help him move.

Once Billie was standing about six feet in front of Logan and Jackie she forced Adrian to his knees. “This abomination is not one of mine. As old of a friend as he might have been, doesn’t excuse him from defying direct orders. He was told not to stir the pot, and when word got to me I thought,” she forced his head back to look up at her. “How exactly do I deal with this one?”

She forced his head back forward and shook her head. “Then I had a good idea, but now it’s quite obvious to me that it wouldn’t be so satisfying. I was just going to give him over to you, but the fact you are so fucking dumb that you think I set him on Logan makes me withdraw my previous form of punishment.” She threw Adrian forward, his face hitting the ground with a hard thud. “Everyone knows, that if I wanted someone attacked, I would do it my damn self, it’s the only way it would get done to my satisfaction. I’m not like you who will bitch out and hide behind everyone else.”

She watched as Adrian cringed on the ground the Arch Mage moved to grab Adrian, but noticed that Billie still had connection made at their ankles. “Plus, Jackie, picking a fight with us when you possibly have a feud with the UnSeelie to worry about was the stupidest thing you could have done. Do I go accusing you of having Devin attack Jordyn? No. But FYI, she is okay, and you’re damn fucking lucky for that. But if you really want to blur lines, I’m game, Mutt.” Billie finally moved away from Adrian who sat up, gasping for air. He had a bloody nose, but that was about it, and Harlow went to check on him.

“Next time, bitchpire, I won’t be so forgiving.” She chuckled a bit darkly as the demons parted and let her walk off. She whistled and Storm appeared beside her as she headed outside. She could feel that she was being followed, but didn’t care as she sat on a bench in the courtyard and lit up a cigarette, her eyes returning to normal finally.

“Billie, what the hell was that?” It was Harlow. He must have sent Adrian off with the Arch Mage for examination, and soon he sat beside her. “That was uncalled for. That could have went very wrong. Only hell knights use that symbol because we understand how to do it properly.”

Billie gave him a look, lifting her shirt slightly to show her brand and he looked at her. “I’m his best kept secret.” She said, and Harlow shook his head.

“Why did you do that?” he asked.

“I can’t exactly help it. My temper got the best of me, and he brings out the darkness I hold.” She said, and she closed her eyes. “Be glad I didn’t go at the bitchpire. I wouldn’t have broke contact.”

Harlow sighed and handed her a note. “The Arch Mage is dismissing you from your next class for today, as he would like to meet with you for half of it and then your full free period.” He said, “If you get done early, come to my classroom.”

Billie nodded and watched as Harlow left, Cole taking his place, but she remained quiet.

--

Clary watched the sight in near horror as Billie went off. Surprisingly enough she didn’t touch Jackie, but the more pain she inflicted on Adrian, the darker her aura became. But when she stopped, the warning was clear, and the fact the demons parted for her spoke of how bad it was. Harlow left Adrian and went after Billie, but Cole shot Clary a look. “Check on Logan.” She whispered, “I got B.”

Clary nodded and disappeared, appearing only when she saw Logan was alone and she gave his arm a gentle rub. “Lo? You okay?” she asked, softly, walking beside him. “Billie wasn’t lying, Jo is okay, and Alex will be alright, just needs some rest.” She said, trying to lighten the air up a bit. She then moved in front of him. She saw the Arch Mage and Harlow walking down the hall, Harlow shaking his head and she grabbed Logan arms. “Babe, I’m sorry, just close your eyes.” She said, grabbing his arms and making them both invisible.

“She’ll probably be out in the courtyard still when you go to collect her.” Harlow said. “I can’t believe how reckless she was.”

The Arch Mage sighed, “It didn’t help the fact that her brother is not doing well, and Enderman knows which buttons to push. We are lucky, however, that she is displaying some control. She could have easily killed Desmond, and she wouldn’t have stopped. Last year it took Alex, Randa, Justin, and myself to hold her back after the vampires tried to attack Alex after his mental break. She nearly killed two of them and that thirst doesn’t leave her when she’s like this.”

Harlow nodded. “Now we have a larger issue on our hands though. If the UnSeelie do decide to go against the vampires, they will likely form an alliance with the demons, and that means that eventually this whole feud will have gone spiraling into a school war. With what’s going on, we can’t afford that. Azrael could have followers here overnight and then he could end up here which would be the worst thing. Even being a hell knight, I can’t fend him off forever.”

The Arch Mage shook his head. “Perhaps the announcement for the survival test should be pushed to today. These students will have to work together.”

Harlow nodded as they bounded the corner and Clary released her hold on them and they reappeared. She let out a sigh and gave Logan a look. “You need me to do anything?” she asked him. “I’m worried for you both.”

--

Cole looked at Billie as she sat beside her and finally spoke. “You okay?” she asked, and Billie sighed.

“I will be eventually.” She said. She took another drag of her cigarette and Cole offered her hand to her. “C’mon. Follow me.” She said, and Billie took her hand and let Cole lead her off. They were heading towards Clary’s dorm, and she saw Storm disappear and Billie just allowed herself to be half dragged along.

--

Adrian hadn’t felt anything that happened, just that his body was beginning to feel again, and as he moved off his bed, the Arch Mage having put him there, he looked himself over. He wasn’t in pain anymore now, the mild paralysis having taken it away, and his nose was alright. He shook his head, and left his dorm. Billie was angry and he was now at her, and he saw her and Cole heading down a hallway.

“Billie!” he called after her, his voice a low growl.

He was being ignored and he threw a fireball at her, and Cole stepped in the way. “No way, hottie with bad vibes. I’m not going to play this game.” She said, her eyes white, but soon Drakon and Salazar come up.

“You will be coming with us now.” Drakon said. “You now get to answer to the dragon crowd. Billie cast you out now you get to follow their rules.”

Cole nodded to them and Adrian looked at them and just allowed himself to be pulled off, but Drakon and Sal pushed him into a broom closet and Drakon pushed him against the wall. “Now, you may be half fire drake and half demon, but I am half ice drake and half seer, and I have a lot more control. You put the people I care about in danger again, and I will take care of it myself.” He said.

Drakon threw him back. “Make amends, or back off. Cole is my girl, had my back since day one and she is like my sister, and Billie has been there for me and Sal more times than I can count. Their safety and those they care about is my business. So I hope you heed this warning.”

Adrian watched as he left and shook his head. “Too many fucking rules.”

The dark chuckle that came from Billie was enough to not only pull Jackie's attention to her but Logan and other vampires as well. Logan had only heard her give that laugh twice before and normally it wasn't followed by something good. Jackie frowned at her words. "I'm far smarter than you demon slut." She growled as she watched Billie walk over and grab some random demon by the head and drag him along with her between them. She had no clue what Billie was actually doing to the demon.

Logan however, could get the jest of it. The weird way that Adrian moved with her and the empty look in his. It was clear that whatever Billie did, gave her control over the demon. Despite the fact that he was a little worried at the moment for his own well being, just for the fact of being there. He couldn't help the fact that seeing Billie take control of someone or be dominate, it always turned him on a little bit. Something about the way she looked when her was in control, it made him want her ten times more. The fact the Jackie backed up a little so that she was almost beside him, snapped him back from his thoughts.

Jackie looked a little surprised, if not afraid when Billie moved so close to her a Logan. The vampire crowd around them tensed at the action as well, but rather than hide behind them. She moved back towards Logan, almost hiding behind him but not quite. Logan frowned looking out the corner of the eyes at Jackie, but said nothing. A small smirk on his face as the demon was forced on his knees. Jackie took a small step away from Logan when she came to a stop. She let out a snort as Billie said she was going to give him over.

"Bullshit Billie, I'm not as stupid as you seem to think. We all know you're demons don't do anything without you fucking knowing about it." She argued, though the topic of Devin attacking the Fae stopped her in her tracks, and she sighed. Still she said nothing, and she didn't even really seem to truly care. Logan watched Jackie and as Billie walked away he spoke up. "We are all relieved to hear the Fae is alright." He said for the vampires.

Jackie turned and looked at Logan as the demons cleared out, her hand went up and slapped him roughing across the face. "Why the hell didn't you help me! You barely said a damn word while she was talking to me like that!" Jackie yelled at him.

Logan simply opened his eyes slowly glaring at her for a moment before speaking. "I'm not going to help you fuck everything up Jacqueline. I'm not going to help you screw things up worse!' He said harshly ignoring the fact the group of vampires were still gathered around them watching their fight. Jackie hissed at him slapping him again.

"I hope that you can find somewhere else to sleep tonight! Because you sure as hell aren't sleeping in our dorm tonight!" She yelled at him before giving a dirty look as Logan laughed in her face.

"That's right Jackie, I won't be sleeping in our dorm tonight, but it isn't our dorm anymore. I've been moving my stuff out durning lunch, I'm going to be sharing a dorm with my sister now." He informed her, tone only getting harsher as he went on. Jackie's eyes widened and her muttered out the word. "What?" And Logan gave a small dark smile. "I've had enough of the shit you pulled this morning. It's fucking over Jackie, I'm through with you."

Jackie looked at the others watching them, if there was something more embarrassing than having fight in front of the others, being broken up with would be it. "Now dare you! Without me you are a worthless excuse of a vampire!" She yelled once again slapping him in the face, but this time he grabbed a hold of her wrist tightly and forced her back against the wall. "You only get three Jackie. Hit me one more time and I will put you through the wall." Logan whispered softly and darkly in her ear before backing away and looking at the others. "Just so all you know, if any of you even think I'm giving up my place as leader because this, try me. I'll remind you where you stand." With that he turned and started to walk down the hall.

Although he heard footsteps following him as soon as he started walking, Zach and Rose catching up to him, he glanced over without saying anything. It was a moment before Zach spoke. "You know that no one is stupid enough to even try to take your place." He said rather matter of factly and Logan nodded his head.

"I'm aware that no one in their right mind would, but Jackie is tricky. She can make you do things for her before you think twice." He sighed glancing over at Rose his eyes roaming over her for a moment before shaking his head. Damn Billie for her little show, it got him all worked up. The smell of Clary's perfume and he came to a stop, Zach and Rose stopping as well. "Why don't you guys go ahead and head to class, I'll be busy getting the rest of my stuff anyway." He told them and as they walked away Logan's eyes watched Rose walk away, part of him wondering if she was easy, while the other part of him was annoyed. She wasn't the one he wanted.

Logan turned and started walking again before Clary showed up and he felt her hand gently rub his arm as she spoke, Logan let out a slow sad sigh before shaking his head. "No sis. I'm the farthest thing from okay. It's not even the end of the first day and the feud with the demons is starting back up and there could be a feud starting with the UnSeelie now." He vented to her before pinching the bridge of his nose. "I wish I had waited until tonight to break up with Jackie, at least I would have gotten laid." He looked over at Clary as she said that Billie wasn't lying, and gave a small smile at the news. "I'm glad to hear that, I was going to try and check on Jo after classes. I figured Alex would be okay, I saw after the last time, it was worse than this. How is B? I mean other than the shit that just happened." He asked.

Logan came to a stop as Clary stopped in front of him grabbing his arms. From the way she said to close his eyes, he had a feeling he wouldn't like what she was about to do. With a frown he took a calming breath and closed his eyes, but other then a little out of focus he felt no different, and he was half tempted to ask what she was doing. The voice of Harlow stopped, and he listened to him and the Arch Mage talk. So he wasn't the only one that saw the danger the feud could cause. Though until now he hadn't thought of the fact it would start a war, but it made sense, the Seelie would likely get involved as well.....which oddly was a little reassuring.

When Clary spoke again Logan slowly peeked an eye open before he opened the other and looked at her and sighed again. "No at least not with the feud thing. If you have time to grab one of the three boxes I have left to move, that would be helpful. If not that's fine." He answered. "Its just my clothes.....or well pants and the few shirts Billie hasn't stolen." He added smiling a little at the thought.

Rather Clary helped him or not, the last few boxes were quick to move and Logan laid back on his new bed and smiled. "This is going to be nice." Logan said looking up at the ceiling. "I wish I would have moved in with you before. At least I know you won't get pissed and lock me out." He added with a laugh before sitting up and looking at the boxes before pulling one over to unpack as someone knocked on the door. With a smile he got up and answered the door, his smile fading for a second as he saw Billie and Cole, but then it was back, he moved away from door. Moving his shelf from his desk chair to the dresser and moving it from the neatly stacked boxes in front of his desk and out into the middle of the room for Cole. Logan walked over to his bed and motioned for Billie to sit by him, giving her a questioning look. Even though he wasn't at fault for what happened he still wanted to make sure she wasn't mad at him. "So what class do you guys have next?" He asked clearly trying to keep the subject off the fight.

--

Molly a long with the others watched the fight the best she could before Harlow pulled his demons away and Ravenswood pulled away her vampires. It was really a shame too, because this little fight was an exciting one. It was so close ending in the new demons getting seriously hurt too. Not to motion that watching this was fun enough to make her less angry about missing Adrian playing with Logan. However, she didn't expect things to happen the way they worked out though. With Billie taking over Adrian's body and forcing him to his knees. She couldn't help but smile a little though at the sight and how fun doing something like that could be.

Once everything was done and over the Arch Mage took Adrian and Molly sighed and headed to her dorm, she wanted to get the books from her first three classes out of her bag instead of carrying them around with her while tutoring the new years in the history of witchcraft. With sigh she headed back out taking her hair down and running her fingers through as she walked, though as her eyes caught sight of Drake and his little friend she smiled walking towards them.

"Hello Drakon." She greeted still playing with her hair, she didn't know his little friend. "So a quick question cutie. Have you seen my new little friend from ALD? His names..." She started to ask before seeing Adrian come out of the closet, literally. Her eyes lingered on him for a moment before looking back Drakon. "Oh never mind." She said smiling a little before walking around the seers and catching up to Adrian.

For a moment she walked waiting beside him, she wasn't a fool, she could tell he was angry, but once they were alone she spoke. "Well..that was a shitty plan. Unless you planed to get yourself kicked out of the demon circle all together. I really hope your next plan isn't as moronic." She said looking up at him, before smiling to herself.

Seeing his eyes slit pushed a bit of the urge that she had in history hit her, and she spoke again. "I can get her to do anything for me." She repeated what he had told her last, her tone mocking before she scoffed eyes watching his reaction.

"You know when I met you, I thought how can he be left when I'm right. But now I'm starting to wonder if you are left and not another lackie. As I'm starter and stronger than you." She smiled looking but at him, seeing she was pissing him off.

"I was even for a moment thinking you would make a good toy. But maybe both me and Azrael should do like Billie. Go see if we can get ahold of Logan." She whispered pausing for a second before adding in something she knew would get the outcome she wanted. "I bet he's more of a man than you smarts wise and bedroom wise. You probably wouldn't even know what to do with me if I was your toy." She said starting to walk away.

Clary frowned a bit at Logan’s answer to her question and sighed. “I’m sorry. I wish I could help out someway, but neither group really likes me. Demons can’t touch me because of B, vamps don’t touch me because of you.” She said, but she gave a disgusted shudder. “Lo. Ew.” She said, “Just do me a favor, if you get some, put something on the door knob. I don’t use the door and I would rather not see more of you than I need to.” She joked.

She didn’t answer his question about Billie right away. For one thing, Harlow and the Arch Mage had come down the hall, but the fact was she couldn’t lie to Logan and she was trying to figure out what to tell him exactly. Once they had left the hall, she sighed. “And B, she is…. Honestly I’m not sure right now. She’s trying to hold together, hence why shit escalated so badly. Normally she doesn’t even listen to Jackie. But with Alex out and Adrian having stirred shit up… I don’t know. Cole will know more. She’s supposed to be stopping by after she checks on Billie.” She explained.

When he asked for help she smiled. “Sure! I think I can do that.” She said and once they got back to their dorm she sat on top of her dresser. She laughed. “I don’t use the door. Speaking of.” She tossed him two keys. “They’re both for the door, I just don’t use mine, so give it to someone you trust in case you can’t find me or your key.” She said before the knock came.

Clary wouldn’t lie at the slight bit of hesitation when she saw Billie had come with Cole. However, her aura was just a murky grey now, which was slightly normal, but once she came in and sat beside Logan it became a light grey. The look that Billie gave Logan didn’t go unnoticed either, how the look was suddenly softer than silk. Clary shot a look to Cole who just gave her a smile and Clary answered Logan. “I have history. Gotta take notes for Jo. The nurse won’t let her out, saying she may have a slight concussion.”

“Mind being a dear and letting me copy them before you give them to her. The Arch Mage is dismissing me from my next class.” Billie rolled her eyes and leaned back on Logan’s bed, her fingers tangling into her hair. “I have to watch Alex for a few days, Lucifer is up my ass, Harlow is going to be up my ass, and the Arch Mage is up my ass.”

Cole looked at her. “I could sit in for you, sis. I have a free period, and Sal and Drake are in that class.” She offered, and Billie nodded.

“Thanks babe.” She said, closing her eyes as tears came leaking from them, but she felt someone pull her up and felt Clary wrap her arms around her. Clary was one of the select few that got to see Billie like this, and Billie just held on to her as Clary stroked her hair.

“B, you’ll be okay. Everything will be fine.” Clary said, and Billie nodded, trying to regain composure. It happened on a natural come down because her light half was coming back in. It was like an emotional roller coaster for her all the time, and her temper killed it every time. She could feel the dampness on her shoulder from Billie’s eyes and she watched as she backed away and wiped her eyes.

“Sorry, but I can’t… I gotta go.” She said, and she exited the dorm and she headed off down the hallway and bounded off outside. Once she was outside she headed down by the lake, and she pulled her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them, resting her head on her knees.

If Logan hadn’t been standing right there with Jackie, she would have killed her. And she wouldn’t have stopped there. Once she found Devin she would have killed him too, and once vampires started attacking her she would have probably killed them too. Her rage made her want to kill and once she started it took a lot to get her to stop. She had managed to control herself because Logan was there. He had kept her from going over the edge. She knew why it was too. Her angelic half came out more around him because he was one of the few people she could relax around… not to mention, she could gauge his response to it if he ever found out about her not being a full blooded demon.

Soon Storm appeared beside her as she began crying, and she wrapped her arms around him as he sat beside her. He just sat there while she cried, and she looked at him. “What do I do Storm? Alex is mad at me, Lucifer is lecturing me, and now I’m pretty sure I’m about to get in trouble because of what I just did. I wanted to kill her, Storm. I really did.” She whispered. He nuzzled his head under her chin for a moment and went back to sitting up straight. She nodded. “I know, I am just trying to calm down.”

--

Clary watched as Billie left, and though she wanted to go after her Cole shook her head. “Gotta let her cool off, Clary.” Cole said. “She’s not on kilter right now, and she’ll be alright once she comes down from her anger.” She assured her. Clary gave a gentle nod before looking at the clock and sighing. “Lo, I hate to cut it short, but I better head to class early. Considering I did offer to take notes for Jo, and Cole and I should probably talk to Delia about her sitting in and taking notes for B too.”

She gave him a smile and his arm a gentle rub before going into her desk drawer and pulling out a bright pink scrunchie. She placed it in Logan’s hand and smiled. “I won’t be coming back after classes right away. Cole, Sal, Drake and I are having a study group for ALD. This can be our signal.” She whispered, giving his cheek a chaste kiss before Cole stood up and nodded.

“You know where to find us if you need us bro.” she said, walking out the door as Clary phased through the wall and they began heading towards Delia’s classroom. Cole gave a look to Clary. “I know you see it too.”

“How absolutely in love they are with each other? How they are damn near perfect each other? How they are too damn stubborn to do anything about it? She won’t make a move because it’s not in her , he won’t make a move because he’s afraid she doesn’t feel the same.” Clary sighed and shook her head. “They need each other.”

Cole nodded. “I know you’ve noticed the aura thing too. He calms the storm and she brightens his world.” She said, and Clary nodded, “Plus, they have complimentary auras.”

“For the love of Lucifer and God and whoever else, they just need to be together.” Clary said. “And I’m trying so hard to get him to see it.”

“Want extra hands?” she asked and Clary gave a look as they took a turn and continued down the next hall seeing Alex walking rather slowly out of his dorm room and in the direction of the infirmary. When they made it up to him, Clary looked at him and Cole spoke. “Need some help, bro?”

“No thanks.” He said, and they saw him begin to take better steps. “Is Jo alright?”

“Yeah. She should still be in the infirmary.” Clary said. “You going to see her?”

“Yeah. Thanks guys.” He said, and they noted the large hell hound tagging along behind him. “And tell B I want to talk to her when you see her again please.”

“Got it bro.” Cole said as she and Clary continued on.

“So what’s our plan of action?” she asked and Cole gave an almost devious grin as they entered Delia’s classroom.

--

Adrian wasn’t in the mood for this shit today. He was going to pop if he wasn’t careful and he would hurt people which wasn’t good at the moment. Then Molly’s voice came into his ears and he shot her a look, his eyes slitting rather than turning black with his anger, his arm lighting up in a similar fashion that Alex’s had. He moved at her, putting her between him and the wall, his eyes continuing to take on more drake form before he spoke. “Listen here, righty . It’s a setback, but I can come back from it. Don’t. Fucking. Doubt. Me.” He growled almost animalistic.

He let her move away, but his anger nearly got the best of him until the last of her comments about Logan came into his ears. Was she joking? Was this really her attempt at getting him in bed? Well, either way. Challenge accepted.

“You are one sick bitch you know that?” his voice was still a low growl as he walked over and lifted her over his shoulder with ease. He brought her down only momentarily to his eye level, and he ran a hand through her hair, and she made him look into his eyes. He clicked his tongue a moment, his eyes not having changed for a minute before he kissed her roughly, biting her bottom lip and drawing a small bit of blood.

“If you point me in the right direction.” He began, his breath a against her neck, “I’ll show you there’s no man left, just beast.”

He hoisted her back up on his shoulder, taking her directions.

--

Alex finally kicked his feet over the edge of the bed, pulling on a pair of dark sweat pants, his movements slow and shaky for a moment, but he couldn’t rest. He was riddled with worry about Jo, and he headed out of his dorm as Clary and Cole came around the corner and they spoke to him. So she was still in the infirmary, and class was about to begin, but he sighed and moved onward. Ash was following him, and he was sure it was until he got to Jo.

He tried his best not to show how much weakness was there, but as he headed about, Justin caught sight of him. “Dude, Al, we have to talk.” He said, putting his arm around his shoulders and helping him walk. Alex gave a thankful nod before speaking.

“What’s wrong Justin?” he asked.

“Well, there was asked fight between our new blood and some vampires. The vampires started it, but we do have other issues at hand.” He said, and Alex looked at him, they stopped just outside the infirmary.

“Issues that Billie can’t handle? Look, Justin, I know that her methods are a bit unorthodox, but she does keep us from getting too beat up or killed.” He said, quietly. “She has done well, better than anyone else could have, and it’s the only positive trait she has taken from our father.”

Justin sighed. “She cast Adrian out.”

Alex gave a dark chuckle. “He was never one of us to begin with. He’s a player in the wrong game here, and if it was up to me, he’d be burning at the stake for the shit he’s done.”

“She was willingly going to give him up… I’m assuming that he did do the attack and that she had no idea about it.” He said. “She hasn’t approved an attack in ages, but you should have seen it when she had hold of him. She like paralyzed him and it wasn’t pretty. She had that look in her eyes again when she looked at queen bitchpire.”

Alex sighed. “Were going to have to watch her around bitchpire then. She’s just hot right now, but if she doesn’t calm, she will kill her. There’s no denying it. Too much happened at once, and if you see her, tell her to come find me.”

Justin nodded, and he patted his shoulder, “Got it, man.”

Alex watched as Justin headed off, about to head into the infirmary when he saw Blaze coming out and he gave a gentle grin. “That’s my girl. Your pups are in the room, go see them.” He said to her, watching the hound bound around the corner and he smiled when he saw Jo.

“Look at you, feeling alright?” he asked before gathering her into his arms and placing a kiss to her temple. “I’m sorry about that. I didn’t mean to scare you of I did.” He apologized.

Logan blinked a little when Clary said ew, before realizing what it was about. Sometimes Clary was just so easy to vent to, it was different to tell when he was over sharing with her. Still he couldn't help but laugh at her reaction. "Sorry, I over shared again, beautiful. Sometimes I forget who I'm talking to. I'll try not to bring girls over, but I'll put something on the knob if I do." He said smiling as he shook his head.

Logan frowned at Clary's answer about Billie once Harlow and the Arch Mage was gone. Although he always appreciated that she didn't lie to him, part of him wished she would sometimes like this. Even a not good, would be better than a I'm not sure. "I told Jackie to leave it alone, stupid bitch." He sighed shaking his head, before looking at Clary and forcing a smile, changing the subject to his moving.

Once they were back in the dorm Clary gave him both the keys to the door and Billie came over with Cole. When Billie came over and sat with him, he gave her a soft smile, relaxing a little bit. If she hadn't leaned back on his bed when Clary answered Logan would have put his arm around her and pulled her close.

Still as when she talked about the others being up her ass, he sighed putting his hand on her leg trying to comfort her. If Clary and Cole hadn't been there he would have tried to comfort her a little more, but he knew Clary would make a big deal of it.

When Billie left the dorm Logan frowned looking at the door, his better mood going with her it seemed. He wanted to go after her. Normally he didn't give a shit when he saw people crying, but Billie was different. It only made things worse that he couldn't go after her even if Cole didn't say to let her cool down, because it would only make matters worse.

Logan looked up at Clary when she said his name and nodded not answering, his whole demeanor changing that quickly. He was pissed, at Devin, at Jackie, at the Adrian guy that started this up, and pissed at the fact he had to sneak around to be with one of his best friends. Still when Logan felt Clary rub his arm, he gave a fake smile watching her go to her desk and get the scrunchie, a real smile on his face at what she whispered has he took it, before nodding to Cole.

Once the girls left Logan sighed laying back on his bed, staring at the ceiling for a moment before rubbing a hand down his face. He looked at the clock frowning before grabbing the keys and heading out, he knew class was about to start for the others.

Still he was stressed out and needed to relax, as well as someone that he knew he could take it out on. Stopping at her dorm he took a deep breath he frowned closing his eyes and shaking his head as he knocked on the door.

--

Heather pulled her skirt down as she stood from putting on her heels back on, it was the bad thing about a skirt that was a little shorter than the other girls. But she hated how long the school wanted them to be, so she always made a point to cut them to be a little above the knee. With a sigh she ran a brush through her still wet hair, from taking a shower after lunch.

This sucked royally, that she had to take History this year because she can't keep from taking it again this year. The fact that she had Delia's class had been a little of a worry to her, but Sophia, one of the other Sirens said there had been a last minute change in teachers. Some guy by the name DuPage, and he was a Skinwalker. With any luck at all he would be easy and she would be able to get by with sleeping with him, as none of her boys were in the class with her.

The knock on her door brought her back from her thoughts, and she glanced at the clock in her room frowning. "It's open, unless its Tom. She said not even bothering to stop what she was doing as she heard the door open.

"Problems with your new toy, beautiful?" Logan's voice came from the door, making her laugh.

"Yeah, he's stupid as fuck and horrible in bed." Heather said turning to look at him. She knew him well enough to tell he was stressed out from the look on his face and she noticed his eyes slowly looking her up. "What can I do for you, love?" She asked crossing her legs, showing off her legs a bit more.

Logan noticed what she was doing and glanced up from her legs smirking. "What makes you think I want something Heather?"

Heather clicked her tongue. "Other than the fact you look like you wish you still killed people. And that I know you broke up with bitchpire? Guessed."

Logan gave a dark laugh, shaking his head. "You know me too well. I don't figure you would mind missing a class or two would you?" He asked.

Heather smirked getting up and locking her door. "I thought you said that wasn't going to happen again." She said and she turned he pushed her roughly against the door. His hand rubbing up her leg. "I lied." He whispered in her ear, before bitting into her neck.

--

Jordyn had sat back closing her eyes and relaxing a little after Cole and Clary left, the shifter nurse came in and looked at her side, conforming that she had two broken ribs. Which meant she would like Jo to stay even longer. But even with Blaze with her the whole waiting to be released thing was boring. Even Blaze laying on her bed was likely bored out of her mind. Jordyn sighed pulling her bag up to the bed and started to put her notes and books back into it when the nurse came back.

"I'm feeling better, I'm going back to my dorm when it's more comfortable, Hannah." She said looking over at the nurse, who crossed her arms giving Jordyn a disapproving look.

"I would rather you stay here and rest where I can keep an eye on you, Jo." The nurse said shaking her head.

"No, even though I'm going to have to miss class by now. I want to check on my boyfriend, and I have things to do." Jordyn said frowning, she wanted to check on Alex. She wanted to figure what dorm Devin was in, so she could start to get even. But as she started to sit up she winced and the nurse sighed.

"Jordyn, you are not better, and you're not going anywhere." Hannah said and as Jo started to respond she added in. "Need I remind you that I'm friends with your mother?"

Jordyn frowned giving the nurse a dirty look and her eyes showed a slight sparkle. "Need I remind you that by your terms, I'm older than you." Jordyn said watching her move the pull up table out of the way. Sighing Jo grabbed the bottle of healing acceleration potion that the Lucifer guy had given her and drank it down quickly. It didn't quite heal her right away, but she no longer felt dizzy and a little of the pain eased up.

Once the nurse was gone Jo looked down at Blaze, reaching down and petting her ears. "Come on, Blaze. Let's get out of here." She said softly before getting out of the bed slowly. Okay, so it still hurt when moving. She held the door for Blaze. The nurses were in the other rooms though with some demons, and she was able to just walk right out, quietly closing the door behind her.

Jo looked at Alex when he spoke and smiled nodding happily moving forward and hugging him back though she moved his arm down a little so it won't be on her ribs. "I'm feeling a little bit better, my side is still hurting but I'm not staying in there anymore. I'll die of boredom." She answered smiling as he kissed her temple and she let out a soft sigh just really happy to see him. "Are you alright?"

Though she frowned looking up at him when he apologized. "You didn't scare me, or well...I mean I was more afraid you were in pain then scared of you. If anything I actually thought you looked kind of really pretty." She said blushing as she said he was pretty, it didn't really sound that weird to her, but she wasn't sure if it was one of the fae things other races found weird.

Jo reached into her bag pulling his glasses out. She stood on her tiptoes kissing his lips and making the kiss last for a moment or two, before putting his glasses back on his face and smiling. "There, I got a longer kiss and you got your glasses sounds like a fair trade to me." She laughed softly. "Now can we please get out of here before nurse Hannah realizes I'm gone and drags me back into the infirmary." She added pulling away from him and taking his hand.

But when she saw how slowly an shakily he moved she stopped and gave him a really worried look. "Alex, you really need to get more rest." She said softly her tone worried and she pulled his arm on her shoulders so she could help him walk.

Billie sighed a bit, moving away from Storm a little as he sat at her back and laid with his head in his paws. It was the best thing about Storm, their bond was strong enough that he understood her almost as if he were human. She laid back, resting her head on his ribcage as she stared up at the sky, her eyes closing as the tears halted. She could remember the last time she cried. It hadn’t been in anger or sadness, but in fear. Not mortal fear or fear of anyone in particular even. It had been the night everything changed, she had almost been found out.

It had been odd that whole night as she and Devin hung out. The thoughts of leaving him had been at an all time high because he started getting jealous of her spending time with her friends. As of late, she had been hanging around Clarissa a lot more since Logan had been unavailable for one reason or another. Still, she looked at Devin, getting up from her seat and sighing. “I think I’m going to head out. I’m supposed to be hanging out with Clary soon and I need to shower.” She said.

When she got over to him and kissed him, he kept her there, kissing her harder than she had expected. She gave into it for a moment before he stood and started moving from her mouth to her neck and she took hold of his hair and pulled his head back. “I have told you a million times, no neck play. I’m not into you feeding on me and I don’t need you getting tempted.” She said, and she moved to go for a second time when he grabbed her again and she tried to pull herself away. His grip tightened though, and she tried to pull away again, but he pulled her to him.

Her eyes went over black. “Devin, I’m being serious. Stop.” Her voice was serious, and she saw his fangs as he came back in for her neck and she felt her heart racing. Everything began moving in slow motion suddenly, her thoughts moving a million miles a minute as her pendant became completely void of all color. If he even tasted her blood she was found out, and she still couldn’t risk it, especially since it would be Devin finding out. “I said stop!” she screamed, and she finally managed to push him back and Blaze and Storm took their places in front of her. Storm lunged forward first, and Billie began running.

She didn’t bother to look back, her heart was pounding so loud she could hear it in her head, hell, it felt like it was going to come out of her throat if she wasn’t careful. She turned a corner, heading down the hall where her dorm was and she didn’t bother even reaching for her keys, she just began banging on the door. “Alex! Alex! Open the fucking door!”

The door opened, Alex barely having a second before Billie wrapped her arms around his waist. He heard something he hadn’t heard in a long time, and he quickly backed up and closed the door. She was crying… Billie in their entire lives hadn’t been overly emotional or anything. Anger made her cry, sure but this was different as she clung onto him tighter.

“B? What’s the matter?” he asked, moving her a little to see the look in her eyes. Fear? “B?”

“I fucked up, Al. I fucked up bad.” She sobbed and she just brought herself closer and buried her head in his chest. Before he could say anything though, Clary’s voice came.

“Babe, I hope you don’t mind, but once Heather gets out of the shower she’s coming with.” Clary hadn’t looked up yet, but when she did, she saw Alex holding Billie as they sat on her bed. “Babe?”

“Clary, go get Logan, please.” Alex said and Clary nodded and phased back through the door. He moved his hand and pulled her chin up to look at him. “Billie?”

“He tried to feed off me, Al. I’ve told him a million times no, hell I don’t even kiss him very long in fear he’ll bite my lip and draw blood. But he grabbed me and he wouldn’t let go. He could have found out Al! Devin of all fucking people. Sure, I’ve thought about telling others, but not him! He just…” she was still sobbing and it got worse as she tried to breathe. Alex let go of her chin and watched her head drop, her sitting forward and placing her elbows on her knees and holding her head in her hands. “I got so scared, Al. I set Blaze and Storm on him.”

Alex looked down at her, seeing a bruise on her wrist from where Devin grabbed her. His eyes went black, and he saw Clary phase into the room and open the door letting Logan in. “I’ll fucking kill him.”

Billie lifted her head, her eyes red and puffy. “Alex, no. It will create more problems.”

“I don’t care, B.” he hissed, and he stood and started pacing around the room before Clary sat on one side of Billie, Logan on the other side. She placed her hand on Billie’s back and gave it a rub before asking.

“Babe, what’s wrong? What happened?” she asked, and Billie sighed, trying to calm down. Her tears weren’t coming down as steadily, but there were still a few escaping.

“That fucking dumbass douche bag tried to feed off her.” Alex growled, and Clary looked at Billie seeing her wrist.

“I told him from the beginning that it was never going to happen. That he wasn’t going to feed off me ever because I’m not into it. Every time he’s tried, I’ll say no and he’ll back off after trying to unsuccessfully convince me, but he just kept coming. And I freaked… and I set Blaze and Storm on him and ran. They’re off him now. Once I got here I called them back.” She said. Her voice was soft, and she looked completely distraught. “But Al, you’re only going to make things worse if you try to do anything. So just, back off, okay?”

Alex looked at her, his eyes still black and a small tinge of light had began to show in his wrist. “You deserve way better, B. You should have never started going out with him in the first place!” he growled, and Billie forced herself to stand and she grabbed a hold of Alex’s wrist.

“Just stop.” She said, tears still threatening to fall. “Please.”

He gave a sigh. “Fine.” He said, and Clary went over to Billie. She hadn’t noticed that Clary had packed her a bag while she was talking to Alex.

“C’mon, you can stay with me tonight. No one you don’t want to bother you will.” She said, and Billie nodded, hugging Alex.

“Please, nothing stupid. Both of us don’t need to fuck up in the same night.” She whispered, and his eyes returned to normal and he nodded.

“I’ll be by later to check on you. Okay?” he said, and she nodded. Then Billie turned to Logan and she hugged him tightly.

“Will you watch him please?” she whispered, pulling away for a moment before hugging him again. “I’m sorry, Logan. I should have listened to you.” A few more tears fell and she let go of him before Clary held out her hand.

“Close your eyes, babe. I’ll lead.” She said, and Billie closed her eyes, taking a deep breath before Clary led her through the walls and kept them invisible as they moved through the halls.

Billie forced her eyes open and she felt the dampness in her eyes again, but she calmed herself down. Class would be starting soon, so the halls would be empty. That was good, especially as she got up and headed towards the main building, her pendant going completely blank just as it had that night.

--

Alex was relieved simply having Jo in his arms, and he gave her a soft smile when she answered. “Glad you’re feeling better.” He said to her, and when she said he looked pretty when he was lit up he gave a soft chuckle and a smile. “Thanks, normally everyone is too scared to look at me, so it’s kind of nice to hear.” He told her.

When she kissed him, he carefully placed his hand on the small of her back, and when she pulled away he felt his glasses be put on. “I suppose it’s fair.” He said to her, but as they began to move, he carefully stepped and his steps were still shaky. He was still far to weak to really be moving around, but once Jo put his arm around her to help him, he still tried to keep his weight off her.

“Alright, well, how about this? You don’t want to be in the infirmary and I need more rest, so how about you come back to my dorm for a while. The pups are here.” He proposed, and as they made it down the halls, he managed to see the fleeting sight of Logan, and his mind wandered to Billie only briefly as he looked to Jo. He spoke again, “I appreciate the help, but really I don’t want you to put any extra stress on yourself.”

He leaned away from her as they got a few doors away from his dorm and he grabbed his key and opened the door, and he saw Blaze lying on the floor beside his bed with her pups against her stomach. Except for Firefly, who was sitting at the foot of his bed, happily chewing on an old sock. He smiled at the sight. He looked to Jo, closing to door after she came in and he walked over to his unmade bed and crawled into it, scooting over so she could sit with him, leaning against the small headboard that he had made for it.

He put an arm around her as they sat there and he whistled slightly, Firefly looking up and scampering up the bed towards them and plopping in his lap before lying down and rolling on her back. “Fire, meet Jordyn. Jo, this is the spunky little Firefly.” He said, rubbing her stomach before Storm suddenly appeared, lying on Billie’s bed, keeping a watchful eye over Blaze and the pups.

He gave a soft smile to Jo, kissing her cheek before turning her head towards him. “Thanks Jo, really, for helping me here, and for staying with me.”

He kissed her lips, softly, but it was a longer kiss, and he pulled back and leaned his head back a bit. “This is nice.”

--

The classroom was empty when Clary and Cole entered, seeing a man at the board writing a few things down. He was tall, and his aura was a little odd, being an off gray-blue color which was a little concerning. “Is this Madam Delia’s class?” Clary asked and DuPage turned and nodded.

“Madam Delia has had emergencies come up back home, so I am going to be your teacher this year.” He said, “I am Professor DuPage.”

Clary gave a slow nod before she finally spoke. “Well, professor DuPage, a few of our friends who are taking History this class period cannot attend today, is there anyway Colette could sit in and help me take notes for them and bring them their books?”

DuPage gave a nod, motioning to the back of the classroom. “May I ask which students?” he said to them, walking over to a stack of rather large, heavy looking books.

“Billie and Alex Sanders, and Jordyn…” Clary was at a loss for her last name, but Colette piped up.

“Jordyn Reid.” She said, and he handed each of them two books.

“You two will need to sit at the back of the class, so not to distract my other students.” He said, and they gave a nod as they headed to the back of the classroom and sat down. Clary gave a sigh and Cole gave her a looks.

“So, Clary, what’s our plan?” she asked, and it made Clary give a grin before Cole went on. “We have to get this whole thing in motion soon, especially with how destructive the feud is becoming again.”

Clary nodded. “First of all, we have to get them to admit their feelings, if not to each other than at least to one of us. Once it’s out there in the open we can work through it better that way. I have been working on Logan for a long time, one of these days he’s going to Crack and actually admit it.”

“So I take it that I should work on Billie then?” Cole asked. Clary gave a nod and a smile. “I don’t know how well it will work, but if we get this first part done then it should get easier.”

“If we have to, we can always ask Alex and Jo for help.” Clary said, and Cole nodded.

“And Drake and Sal could always help a bit more subtly if need be” Cole said, and Clary nodded.

“We’ll talk more later.” She smiled.

Jordyn gave a soft smile when he asked her to come back to his dorm with him, before he even mentioned the puppies. Honestly she really wanted to start getting even with that dick Devin before going and relaxing with Alex, but he sounded so hopeful and weak. She nodded her head after a moment. "That sounds nice Alex, plus I'm excited to see the puppies." She answered walking down the hall towards his dorm with him. Alex really wasn't that heavy or hard to help walk, so when he said something about extra stress on her, Jo just blinked looking at him as he leaned away. "Oh okay." She simply said deciding to not argue that she wasn't putting anymore stress on herself helping him, than the three books in her bag was.

The first sight she sat as she walked in was Blaze and her puppies laying cuddled up on the floor by Alex's bed, and it made her smile. "Awe...they are so adorable, the picture didn't do them justice." She said softly not wanting to wake them up despite her want to pet them. Then she saw the one playing with the sock and her smile grew. When Alex scooted over for her to have room, Jordyn slowly crawled into the bed as well, careful not to hurt herself.

She sat beside Alex leaning on the him a little as he put his arm around her careful not to put any weight on him, her left hand slipping into his to hold, relaxing sightly. "Awe, nice meet you, Firefly." Jordyn said to the hound on his lap as she let go of Alex's hand and reached her hand out for Firefly to smell slowly. "You're just a adorable little thing." She added seeing Storm appear over on Billies bed as her nails softly scratched the top of the hound puupies head.

As she felt the kiss Alex panted on her cheek, Jordyn smiled still petting Firefly, until he turned her head so she'd look at him. She gave a soft look as he spoke. "Of course Alex." Jo said softly before he kissed her, she leaning slightly into the soft kiss before he pulled away. Her eyes watched him lean his head back. "It is." She said softly as his breathing relaxed like he was finally able to get some sleep, and she reached over taking his glasses off and putting them on his stand.

Jordyn reached down petting the puppy a little more before feeling her eyes get heavy themselves, the pain she had been in, and still slightly was in was working her down. Not the mention the potion that needed sleep to really work. She stopped petting Fire and let her eyes close leaning against Alex for just a moment.

A soft groan left Jo's lips as she woke up almost an hour later, she was cuddled up to Alex, her head resting on his chest. She let her body shift a little bit, there was still a throbbing but the pain was gone, leaving just a soreness. Still she was careful as she reluctantly moved away from the comfortableness that was cuddling to Alex. When she looked at the clock she frowned. "Oh shit." She whispered to herself as she realized that she slept through all but the last fifteen minutes of her sixth period, giving her just enough time to change from the clothes from gym she still had on.

She looked back at Alex for a moment before rubbing his arm gently, as worried as he had been when she was in the infirmary, she didn't want to leave without him knowing. Once he showed sighs he was awake she spoke. "Alex, I have to go change. We already missed sixth and I don't want to miss three classes." She said leaning in and kissed his lips softly, touching his cheek before pulling away. "Your glasses are on the table. See you in seventh." She said before leaving and heading to her room barely having time to change and fix her hair before she had to leave, the halls becoming packed again.

--

Molly laid on her back her head resting on her pillow, staring above her as she tried to calm her breathing, her whole body relaxed. "Oh...wow." She said her breath still rushed. "I take back what I said." She said looking at Adrian for a moment before rolling over and giving him another kiss before pulling away and getting up to find her clothes. As Molly started getting dressed she was quiet for a moment, despite how many times she had done this with new toys, it was always a little awkward.

"Look Adrian, I don't know you well enough to know how you stand on relationships, but let me make one thing clear." She started as she pulled her skirt up and started looking for her shirt not even looking at him as she spoke. "I think relationships are full of shit, with the love dovey stuff that makes me sick. I honestly was bored and you were pissed which was hot, what is it humans call it? Friends with benefits? Booty call? Play date? Either way that's all we are going to be with this or nothing at all. Got it." She said looking up at him before pointing at her shirt by his feet.

Molly smiled once he agree with what she was saying, and finished buttoning up her shirt before walking over to him and taking his tie her hand pulling it roughly as she stood on her tiptoes. "Good, because next time, you get to be the toy." She whispered in his ear softly. She let go of his tie and walked over to her desk grabbing her bag. "C'mon might as well walk to class with me. You have fourth and seventh with the same people in this school." Molly said opening the door making her room appear normal again.

--

"Damn it Logan, where did you throw it?" Heather said frowning as she looked around her room. Logan putting on his pants and shaking his head. Wondering what the hell had to be wrong in his head to do this again, he wasn't ashamed of himself in the least. But every time things he had a hint out of control over, got just a little bit out of his control, or he was extremely stressed out. He ended up at Heathers. "Logan seriously!"

Logan rolled his eyes looking around the room before pulling the black lace bra out of under the bed and holding it out. "It might help if you look where we were Heather." He said smirking a little as she took it and rolled her eyes.

"Thanks love." She said kissing his lips quickly before she finished getting dressed. Logan put his shirt on and grabbed his tie before saying goodbye to Heather and leaving, buttioning his shirt up as he walked towards his dorm and grabbed some more vials, before heading to class. His mind on everything that had happened today, with the attack on Jo and attack on Billies newbloods, the last time things had been this bad, it had been when the first feud started.

Logan laughed lightly at Zach who was surrounded by some of Heather's siren friends that had a thing for him. Zach's ex watching from the other side of the cafeteria looking royalty pissed off. As the girls left them Logan looked at Zach and shook his head. "Dude, that was pathetic. You should have just left with Sophia, because the sirens are the worst people to use for this." Logan said.

Zach looked over his shoulder at his ex before looking back at Logan and frowning. "Really because the cheating bitch looks pretty pissed. Beside I don't move as fast as you." He said as he ate some of the food in front of him. "I should borrow Heather from you, that would really piss her off. You know how much she hates her." Zach joked and Logan smirked.

"You can if you want her, though she's a little too submissive." Logan said taking a few bites of his food as Zach stared at him, not really sure if Logan was being serous. "It's not a joke, we're in a open ended relationship. As long as we approve, we can sleep with other people." Logan said not even bothering to look up as he spoke, at least this way neither of them really cheated. Which helped him a lot, because really, Heather wasn't his type despite how much he liked her. Though Zach didn't have time to really answer before Clary appeared, saying Alex sent her. He nodded sighing, as long as it wasn't Billie that sent, he was available. "See you later man."

Logan had no idea whatsoever on the situation he was walking into, but the first words he heard when Clary opened the door for him, was Alex talking about someone. He took a second to look around the room before coming in and shutting the door. Alex's eye were a solid black and Billie was...crying. Not angry crying, but really crying.

When Alex started pacing Logan moved over to the other side of Billie, he was still confused greatly on what was going on. Still he placed his hand on Billie's knee trying to confront her a little. "He tired to feed off you?!" Logan asked after Alex said it and was done talking, his tone turning angry as well as his eyes took on a red tint. His eyes seeing the bruising of her wrist as she said Devin kept coming after she had said no. He didn't think she was in the wrong calling her hounds, if anything he thought she shouldn't have called her hounds back, she should have let Storm and Blaze kill Devin. Devin deserved to have his fangs ripped out, and left to dry out. To be thrown out into the sun to burn to death, just for putting a mark on Billie.

Logan watched Clary start packing a bag as he heard Billie trying to stop Alex from attacking Devin, and she was right. Alex attacking Devin right after she set her dogs on him, it was a terrible idea, it would make things a hundred times worse. Now, if he, went and beat the living shit out of Devin, until the only part of him moving was a mother fucking leg twich. As a vampire as well. That would be perfectly alright.

He stood himself about to leave the dorm, but before he could Billie's arms were around him tightly and he put his arms around her. Logan looked over at Alex and sighed. "Yeah, I'll watch him." He answered though it was clear that he didn't want to, he wanted to fix this. When she hugged him again, he couldn't help his reaction, his eyes closing as the smell of her hair reached his nose. Damn it, he wanted to not let go and make her linger, he opened his eyes quickly and let his hand rub her back. "You shouldn't be the one apologizing, beautiful. Just go relax with Clary." Logan said before watching her and Clary faze out.

Once the girl were gone, Logan took a deep breath and ran his hand over his face. He forced them to turn their normal green before opening them, and looking at Alex. "She's right you know. If you go and attack, kill him, burn his body, and piss on the ashes. It's just going to make things worse, your sister will be pissed at you, and she will have to deal with the aftermath by herself. Because you won't be here. So sit down and calm down man, we both know you want to be here to keep B safe." He sat his tone calm and cool though his mind was far from it.

After a moment he sat on Billies bed. "Let me deal with this." He said looking at Alex his face serious. "I will slowly make every aspect of his life a living hell. Until he wishes that you had killed him. Once I'm done, you can have him to kill, he needs to suffer first." Logan told Alex his eyes starting to show the tint again.

Logan's mind was brought back to the present as he saw the sight of Devin heading into the room. He was surprised that Devin didn't skip this class knowing that all of the people from their gym period would be there. Dumbass. Logan noticed Zach walk up beside him, before he had a chance to say anything Logan looked to him. "Wanna help me out Zach? You're faster than Devin. I don't plan on him getting away from me this time."

Zach gave a laugh nodding. "Oh trust me he won't get out the door. This will be amusing."

Mrs. Kane watched sitting cross legged on her desk as the students walked into her classroom. Her long red hair pulled into a bun and thin framed black glassed on her face. Her teachers assistant Melody handing out a journal to each of them as they entered the class. Much unlike the other classrooms however the students were not given a chance to sit beside who they wanted, as the chairs floated above the tables out of reach. The past two years Kane had to deal with students complaints that they could not sit with whomever they wanted first off. So they wouldn't be given the chance.

Once everyone was inside and Melody had passed around all the journals the door closed and locked on its own before she spoke. "Welcome students, I'm Mrs. Kane and I will be your teacher." As she spoke her name appeared on the blackboard. "As you can see, there is no place for you to sit yet, this is because unlike your other classes you will not be able to pick your partner. In this class we do learning how to deal with other races. Including their culture, race laws, speech patterns, slang words, and so much more." She said her tone calm and relaxed before she stood from her desk.

"My assistant gave you a journal along with a pen. Each of you will write your names on the front page of it and bring them up to my desk. Boys sit your journals in the pile on the already there, girls sit yours in a pile next to the boys. They will be randomized, and you'll get your partner and a seat." She instructed stepping back and watching as they did as they were told. Once they were done she tapped a finger on each stack before taking the top two.

"Adrian Desmond and Jordyn Reid." She started holding out the journals back to them as the chairs floated down to their table in the back before she contiued. "Tiffany Reid and Logan Smith, Zachary Mordecai and Billie Sanders." She continued to put people together like Amber with Devin, and Willow with Salazar. "Alex and Sander and Molly Jaxson, Clarissa Day and Drakon Flores, Justin Henderson and Colette Evans." She finished with only Jackie left standing by herself. "Jacqueline Endman you will have to team up with another table for a few day as your partner Garrett Scothson hasn't arrived at the school yet. Everyone take a few moments to get to know your partners." She finished before sitting in her chair.

Alex was completely at peace while he and Jo were relaxing on his bed, and he barely realized himself drift off into sleep, his mind fluttering to the last time he lost control… when everything happened.

Alex watched as Billie and Clary left the room, but he couldn’t help the pacing. He was beyond pissed off, but Logan had a point, so he sat on his own bed and ran his fingers through his hair. He sighed. “But by fucking Lucifer do I want to. That’s my little sister, and I have never seen her upset like that. Not ever. He deserves death.” He growled. He had to calm down though, and he closed his eyes.

“How do you plan on dealing with it?” he had asked.

The rest of that night became a drunken blur of anger, he had been drinking heavily with Logan, and once the next morning came he noted a note on his bedside table from Billie that said she would be in the cafeteria waiting for him. He let his feet hit the floor, and he ran a hand through his hair. His head was throbbing and he knew it was from the hangover he had. He sighed, and after a quick shower and getting dressed he headed towards the cafeteria.

His mind was a haze, but his eyes fell on Billie, sitting alone, poking at her food before a voice filled his ears. Devin’s. He was spewing some bullshit about Billie being a psycho and having cheated on him. Alexis wrist lit up, his anger hadn’t calmed since the night before at all, and when Devin laughed it off like a joke he lit up entirely. His veins were glowing like fire, and he began approaching Devin.

Billie happened to see it, looking around. “LOGAN!” she shouted, a crowd forming between her and Alex as the other vampires backed away from Devin. Well that wasn’t exactly the smartest thing the student body could have done, putting a wall between Alex and the only person that could put him back on the wagon, but it happened.

You think it’s funny to hurt a girl? One who you didn’t deserve?” the dark bellow caused silence to ring through the cafeteria, the only noise that was heard was the inhuman snarling as Alex’s skin tore open. His form hunched, growing to about ten foot tall as his human skin shed off his form, his third and fourth eyes opening black.

“Alex!” Billie’s voice fell on deaf ears as she tried to move through the crowd, Justin attempting to help her as Alex’s demon form towered over everyone.

You call her psycho for freaking out? You dare speak a bad word on her?” he growled, fire coming and moving towards Devin. It managed to burn the ends of his coat but before much more could really happen. Billie finally made it through the crowd and she stood before him. “Move little sister. Let me take care of this prick. Let me burn him.

Billie shook her head, and Alex growled a nearly animalistic snarl as he moved quickly, but Billie moved back as well, and she looked over at Devin and Logan. “You do realize the longer he’s here the more pissed off he’s getting right? Just go, I can handle it.” She said, her eyes seeing a fireball coming their way, and she managed to use her own powers to catch it and watch it dwindle as it sat there. She looked at Alex as he paced back and forth before her before she turned around, her eyes black. “I SAID GO!”

Alex threw another as Devin and Logan left, catching Devin’s back before he saw it move away. Surely it was Billie’s doing, and he looked to his sister whose eyes were still black. The crowd had significantly died out once mortal peril was introduced and Billie’s eyes welled with angry tears as she muttered an exorcism.

He could feel his consciousness fading and his body burning as she spoke and the last thing he remembered hearing was. “I told you both of us didn’t need to fuck up.”

Alex groaned a bit and even heard Jo’s voice a bit before nodding. “See you in class.” He smiled, and after a moment of her being gone, he got up. He pulled on his uniform, still moving slowly, only slightly surprised when he heard the door open and he saw Billie come in.

“Hey sis.” He greeted, and she looked at him and walked over and hugged him. He gave her back a gentle pat and he noted her pendant with a slightly dark glow. “You okay?”

“Yeah, now come on, we better get to class. And don’t do anything stupid.” She said and he nodded.

--

Billie had made her way out of the Arch Mage office about twenty minutes until the end of sixth period, her mind still a blur. He had helped her reset her balance again, but she had received the same lecture from the Arch Mage as she had from Lucifer. She needed to accept her angelic half and be done with it, but it wasn’t a simple as it sounded to them…. And it also had her suspicious. It was like they weren’t telling her something, but the only thing she could think of no one should have been stupid enough to keep from her.

If Azrael was out of the cage she should have been told. Her secret was directly linked to him being away from her, and anything to put her and others in danger was stupid to keep from her. She closed her eyes as she headed towards Harlow’s classroom, and she put her hand on the know but she decided not to go in and headed back towards her dorm. She noted Jo leaving and it put a small smile on her face.

She waited a minute before she headed in and when she saw Alex, she walked over and hugged him. She couldn’t help it, and after their interaction she placed his arm over her shoulder and helped him stand tall as they walked. “So, you cast Adrian out?”

Billie nodded. “I could have done worse, but I didn’t.” she said, and once she and Alex were in the class, she made sure she stood normally. Alex not leaning on her anymore. She felt some eyes on her, but no one came close to her. She stood there with Alex as they were each handed journals and she rolled her eyes looking at it.

Then they were given instructions on how they would be getting their seats and once Alex wrote his name in his journal and Billie did the same in hers she took them both up and set them in their respective piles before the names were called. She saw Alex’s eyes flash black when Jordyn was paired with Adrian, but relief covered her when she saw Logan and another of the Reid sisters, Tiffany, at the table beside them. Then her name was called after Zachary Mordecai, and she let him walk out first, smirking a bit at his back. At least it wouldn’t be all bad for having a vampire she didn’t know as a partner. She began towards her seat after that.

However the name after hers made her slow down a moment. Devin’s. That prick deserved every ounce of punishment Logan was going to dish out, but Billie… well… she wanted to have her own bit of fun. She sat in her seat just before Devin moved to sit in his and she moved her hand and watched his chair fly backwards away from him as he tumbled to the ground. When he looked back at her she gave a wry smile before she leaned back in her chair and just smirked.

Then she heard who Jackie was to be partnered with and her smirk moved to a grin. “Thank fucking Lucifer.” she mumbled when Garret’s name was said. He was indeed coming back, and that would help her out immensely. He wasn’t like Justin who had been trying to get in her pants since day one, but he was a good high up demon…. But he didn’t know about the feud. Well… he was about to find that out too.

But there was a bigger elephant in the room, and she looked out of the corner of her eyes to Zach before it fully clicked that he was a vampire. Oops. She couldn’t deny that her eyes swept over him before she stopped herself. She sighed and noticed Jackie moving to partner up with another table, and once her head turned she took up a piece of paper and wadded it up, making it levitate to hit her in the back of the head. And she was getting almost frustrated that it barely did anything to her. Annoying.

God, she needed some kind of stress relief, and for now this was helping.

--

Adrian lifted himself from the bed and he managed to locate his clothes pretty quickly, only smirking at her words. “Relationships are left to humans.” He agreed with her, “But if I’m the toy next time, try not to piss me off so bad.”

He watched her dressing a moment before he finished dressing and he headed out with her, heading towards toward their last class, seeing Logan and another vampire heading in and he held the door open for Molly, glancing down the hall to see Billie and Alex coming. They had been the last two to enter the classroom, and soon the odd seating ritual began and he got paired with Alex’s little girlfriend. He turned to Alex and he gave a sinister smirk before sitting beside the red head before noting the groups at the back of the class with them. Well, he knew this would be interesting for sure and he felt his own blood boil when Molly was paired off with Alex.

Now, don’t get it confused, he was only being territorial because they were on the same page. They had the same boss. And not to mention they were now fuck buddies. He let out a sigh though, not paying attention to the other side of the room until he saw wads of paper hitting a blonde in the back of the head. He leaned back and noted a frustrated Billie. He just shook his head a bit and leaned his chair back on two legs, waiting for the class to get settled in so they could actually begin.

--

Cole and Clary had been standing next to each other the whole time the seats were being called out and they were down to the last five. Clary could have taken being next to Justin but hearing her name being called with Drake’s she gave actually sad smile as she sat at the table with him. Then Cole and Justin were seated together and Clary watched as Cole scooted her seat all the way away from him, as far as she could.

She remembered what happened with them. Billie had beaten Justin so bad that he had been in the infirmary for two and a half weeks. Cole had just started at the school about a month before the feud with the vampires and demons began and most of the demons tried to get her to leave. They’d push her around, they’d call her names, but nothing got through to her. Justin was the ring leader and he tried to force her into doing things with him. Clary had seen it and went and got Billie.

Cole didn’t know about that part, but what she did know was that once Justin was forced away from her she ran. She had heard that Billie Sanders had put one of her own in the infirmary half dead, but she also knew that Justin still didn’t want her there.

She looked to Clary who offered a sad smile again, and Drake leaned over and fixed Justin with a hard glare. After that night Drake had gotten extremely protective of Cole around demons… especially males.

Cole hadn’t been aware that her discomfort had been noted by more than them until a random paper wad landed in front of her and she opened it. It was blank, but she turned a bit and saw Billie who gave her a nod and Cole gave a slight smile before turning forward. She forgot what it was like to have more than just Sal and Drake, but it was obvious that Billie, Clary, Alex, Jo, and even Logan were going to be there for her too. This was why she wanted to help.

But the class was starting to calm down and Kane looked as of she was ready to begin.

It wasn't like Jordyn to not be one of the first few to get to class, and she was almost always there before Tiffany. When she got to the class five minutes before it started both Tiffany and Willow gave her a worried look. As Jo took the journal handed to her, she saw her sisters and sighed looking at the people already in the class and frowned a bit. Alex wasn't here yet or she would have stood beside him. She saw Cole, Clary, Drake, and another boy were already there and she smiled at them going to stand by Clary. But Willow stopped her as she went to pass them, by reaching out and touching her arm.

"How are you little sister? I stopped by the infirmary after fifth but you gone." Willow said her tone soft but there was a trace of worry there that only those that ready knew her would be cable to notice.

Jordyn gave her sister a smile moving to where she was standing beside them instead. "I'm fine, really. I was given something for healing and I'm just a little sore." She answered before seeing Logan come in followed shortly by Billie and Alex. Jordyn frowned hearing that they weren't going to be able to pick their partners, not just because she wanted Alex as her partner. She would have taken Billie, Cole, Clary, Logan, or even one of her sisters over sitting beside some random person she didn't know.

Her name was called first and when the teacher said who her partner was, her eyes widened a little. No, no, no! She didn't want to be Adrian's partner! He was scary and a fire breather! Jordyn caught the way Alex's eyes blacked over as she passed him, really it didn't help her nerves at all, if anything it made it worse. Jordyn took her journal before taking the seat next to the aisle, she gave him a uneasy smile. If she was going to be having to deal with him as a partner, then she might as well try to be nice and make it work. Even though he and Alex didn't get along for whatever reason.

Still when he sat down Jordyn scooted her chair over a little bit, not wanting to sit to close to him. When her sister was put at the table next to hers, it was probably the first time in a long time she felt some relief about Tiffany actually being in the same class as her. She saw Tiffany tap her fingers on her desk, before words in purple dust showed up on Jordyn side of the table. The words were in Faelic, and Jordyn smiled reading them before glancing at Adrian out of the corner of her eye before shaking her head. The dust going away as Billie started throwing paper was at one of the vampires.

--

Logan woke up the next morning with a massive hangover and laying half off of his bed, after talking to Alex the rest of the night was a blur of heavily drinking and Alex venting his anger about what happened between Billie and Devin. He barely remembered leaving the room once he was sure that Alex had passed out for the night. He didn't actually remember getting to his room.

Logan pulled himself out of bed, taking the time to take a shower and get dressed, grabbing a few bottles before heading out towards the cafeteria. He saw Billie as he came in and headed to get something to eat himself, planing on actually sitting beside her. Before he even had time to get over far through the line though, he heard Billie screaming his name, and turned to see Alex glowing as he made his way towards Devin.

Damn it! This was exactly what Alex agreed not to do the night before. Logan fought through the crowd, and grabbed ahold of Devin as Billie stepped in front of Alex. But Devin was a dumbass, he tried to pull away from Logan. Because this was what he actually wanted. Billie's attack had been when they had been alone. It was deniable for the most part, but this...this was in front of every fucking body. Including Jackie.

Logan finally managed to pull Devin out of the cafeteria, feeling a little of the heat from Alex's fire ball before it was gone. Once Logan had gotten Devin outside, he realized that Jackie was close behind them and as they stopped she crossed her arms. "What the hell was that about?" She asked.

Devin looked up and acted like he had been seriously hurt by Alex. "He's a psycho just like his bitch sister, he acted me because I was telling everyone how much of a cheating slut his sister is." Devin lied through his teeth and Jackie looked royalty pissed off.

"This is it, I've had enough of this! Logan, Zach, Violet spread the word around the vampires are done with the demons. Anyone that insists on staying friends with the demons will be cast out on the spot. I will not allow them just go around attacking us like this." Jackie said before she and another vampire helped Devin to the infirmary.

Violet headed the opposite way and Zach looked to Logan frowning. "Well....this just fucks up all of our plans. Now what are we going to do?" Zach asked and Logan frowned shaking his head. "No, I'm not done with this, you saw that Alex didn't even get a chance to touch him with Billie there. I'll just have to wait a bit longer to beat Devin's ass." He said. That was the first night that Logan had to actually had to sneak away from his dorm just to see Billie.

Logan frowned feeling sorry for Jordyn having to sit by the asshat. He soon got placed at the table next to them with Tiffany, one of Jo's sisters. It was actually a good thing too, because if he was able to play his cards right. Show a little respect and maybe get Devin to apologize for attacking Jo, he might just be able to prevent the UnSeelie starting a feud.

As he got to the table he took the seat away from Jo so that her sister could sit by her, he reached over without really even thinking about it and pulled out Tiffany's chair for her. Before hearing that Zach was going to be at the last table with Billie and he couldn't help but smile, looking towards the front of the class.

Tiffany wasn't thralled about this whole seating ritual that their crystal touching teacher was forcing them to do. Honestly if she had much of a choice she wouldn't have ever picked to sit beside her baby sister, because she could be annoying and they often butted heads. Still she knew her sister to tell when she was just nervous about new people, and actually afraid of someone. She let her partner go first, following him, at least he wasn't to bad looking, for a blood bag. When he pulled the chair up for her, she let her gray eyes look over him for moment before she took the sit. Trying to decide if he was being polite or trying to suck up for his race. Taking her seat she looked towards her sister.

--

Zach gave a little bit of a smirk when he was placed at the table beside Logan, and though he personaily really knew nothing about Billie Sanders, he wasn't really worried. He really had no stake or even interest in this retarded feud between vampires and demons in the first place. So honestly he couldn't care less if his partner was a demon or not. As long as she wasn't a bitch toward him, they would be fine. He and Logan both laughed a little as he took the seat next to Logan, and saw Devin missing his chair like a dumbass.

"Well at least with you sitting beside me, I don't have to worry about failing this class." Logan laughed looking at him. Zach laughed lightly. "Well shit and here I was planning on cheating off your papers like last year." He answered sitting back his eyes catching his new partner checking him out. Zach smirked looking at Billie from the corner of his eye, though he didn't say anything, it wasn't like it was something he wasn't used to. If anything it made him worry a little less about being her partner.

He watched as Jackie movced and paired up with Violet and some elemental, and he looked over to Logan. "Poor kid, I bet you thirty bulks, he won't make it half way though class without pulling his hair out." Logan looking up at the tablet before shaking his head. "Vi's a whore. I'll take that bet." Zach shook his head looking back at their table as a paper wad hitting Jackie in the head. He sat there watching a few more move from Billie's side of the table and hit Jackie in the back of the head before leaning back and grabbing a cup filled with pencils. He dumped them out on the shelf behind them before sitting the thick ceramic cup in front of Billie keeping his eyes forward as Kane started talking.

--

Normally Willow would sit beside one of her sisters or friends, but she gave a simple shrug and the fact she would be sitting next to someone else. It truly wasn't that big of a deal to her, for the most part she didn't mind other races, or meeting new people. When Kane said who her partner was, she smiled a little. At least he wasn't actually a new person to her, she had sat at the next table over from him and his friend in Botany and Alchemy earlier that day.

Willow let him go first to get his journal and pick a seat, most because she didn't want to be the one picking which side to sit on. "Well hello there, shy little one." She said giving a friendly smile as she sat down beside him.

--

Molly frowned looking back at Adrian when he ansewered her words about him being the toy and clicked her tongue. "Awe...that takes part of the fun out of it, my little toy. Fine, but next timeI'm the toy try not to give me as big of a hickie." She answered smirking a bit, fingers touching where he had bit and sucked on her collar bone. When they got to the class she couldn't help but smile a little bit when he held the door open for her. Hmm she actually could get used to take kind of treatment for once. For the most part Molly was pretty relaxed from her play time with Adrian and even the fact she couldn't sit next to him didn't bothrer her.

When he was paired with the cute little red haired fairy it took all that Molly had to stifle a laugh. It was cute as could be. The little tiny fairy and the big bad dragon. For the most part she wasn't paying most attention to who was being placed with whom. Until she heard her name being called, she looked to Alex Sanders and gave a small smile. Well at least she wasn't sitting by a mage who would want to talk, or an elemental who was stupid enough to make her have to do everything for it to be done right.

She looked him over as he started to move before letting out a soft sigh. "Just sit down cutie, I'll get them." She said as she pushed away from the wall and walked past him, their table being the one right by where they were standing. Kane meant Molly half way having noticed it as well, and as Molly got back to the table, she caught sight of Adrian's angry face at the back of their row. She couldn't help the smirk that showed on her face as she handed Alex his journal and sat down beside him. Well this would be interesting to say the least, part of her wanted to see if she could make Adrian angrier.

However, she shook her head a little bit, clicking her tongue again has she pulled her hair behind her ear, and dug in her bag pulling out a red inked pen to use instead of the black one they were given. Only to look up when she heard who Jackie was paired with and she gave a sigh frowning. "Oh fuck me." She muttered to herself, she had been aware he was coming back, but not that he was in any of her classes.

--

Kane sat at her desk for a few moments getting her lesson sorted the rest of the way as her students get their seats and some of them even interacted. Though soon a large hardback book floated from one of the shelves in the back and was placed in front of each of them, the pages flipping until it laid open to page 532. A large picture of a Merfolk swimming around covered the entire page. Kane stood from her desk and made her way back to the front of the class, her back to students as she put a piece of chalk to the board and muttered a spell. The chalk working on its own as turned back towards her class.

Kane eyes fell on Adrian in the back for a moment and forced his chair back on all fours as she began. "As you can see the first creature we will be starting with Merfolk. However, before we start the actual lesson. I would like to explain the journals you were given upon entering. Those will be your classroom journals, in them it will be required to you to write about your experience both in and out of the class with other races over then your own. Your interactions if you remember to write them, your thoughts and feelings about what you've learned in the class, about your partners, the ways of other races, and really anything else that has to do with the subject of this class." She explained before Zach raised his hand and she looked to him. "Yes, Mr. Mordecai?"

Zach sat up a little more as he lowered his hand. "So if I feel that say, this whole thing was fucking retarded and just a waste of time. I'd write it in this right? Or do we need another journal for that?" He asked with a straight face keeping it even with Logan laughing at the table beside him.

Kane blinked a few times looking at him before a small smile spread on her face. "You'd write it in this journal Mr. Mordecai and I do look forward to reading yours. As this half of your grade you be turning them in at the end of each of your breaks for me too grade. If you do not do your journal then you get to come back and join me next year, or come back the second time for some of you." She finished eyes looking towards Heather quickly before turning towards the board.

The chalk having drawn the picture from the book as she was talking and she actually used she ability rather than a spell as she tapped her finger on the board and made the Merfolf swim around, the drawn picture come to life. "Now as I was saying before we are going to start on Merfolk race. Not to be confused with the Siren race.”

Alex focused on the back table for a few moments, watching as Adrian sat beside Jordyn. He relaxed, if only slightly, at the fact that the table right beside her and Adrian had another of the Reids so Alex assumed her sister and Logan. As much as he didn’t want to give Adrian credit for anything, Adrian was one of the few people he knew who knew how to find that one button to press with people. He knew that Alex’s was the people he cared for, which was why the two had a falling out in the first place. However, he also knew Adrian wasn’t stupid enough to openly try anything in a class full of people who didn’t particularly like him either.

His thoughts were snapped back once he heard he was partnered with Molly Jaxson, and was glad that it wasn’t someone like Jackie. At least, from what he heard, Molly was smart which meant they would likely be a good team. He gave her a thankful nod when she said she would grab their journals. He had almost forgotten how weak he got when he was recovering from a mental break, even if it wasn’t full on. He took his seat and looked to Molly. “Thank you.” He said before his mind started to wander.

This class was full of all sorts of races, vampires included, and he knew in his weakened state he could likely become a target for an attack just because he had been before. His head turned slightly though, looking to his sister in the back of the classroom who was checking out her partner rather obviously at that too. He shook his head a bit and remembered what it had been like when he came down from his last one. He had been out cold in the infirmary for a week, and when he was finally allowed to go back to his dorm, four vampires tried to attack him.

It had been the first time he had ever seen Billie lose grip over her demon half, since she had become so used to it that she could control it effortlessly. She had been going with Justin and Randa to go collect him, but no one else had a chance to even think about attacking. Billie jumped in after the first hit, and once two of them backed off, she nearly killed the other two. He had tried to pull her away in his weakened state alone, and even with Randa and Justin helping it was hard. The Arch Mage had had to put a ward between her and the vampires, and she didn’t even start to calm until she saw Logan. After he got there she stormed away and the whole thing kind of fizzled from there.

It was the first and only actual fight Billie had been in since the beginning of the feud, whereas Alex had been in multiple simply to break them up. Billie had scared herself, and he was sure most of the vampires knew better than to fuck with her after that. She didn’t condone the violence, but he was sure if it came right down to it, she would fuck up anyone who gave her a reason.

Then a name reached his ears and he smirked, relaxing a bit. Despite Garret not really knowing the state of things now, he was a damn good friend, and he could see the mixed emotions that ran over Justin. Garret wouldn’t get here a moment too soon. He caught Molly’s reaction and he raised a brow a bit before dismissing it. It had to be nothing, or just straight none of his business. And on top of that he just didn’t care.

--

Billie sighed a bit, her eyes finally betraying her as she looked over Zach beside her fully. He had a good build, she couldn’t deny that, and she knew from gym that he had some tattoos which only made sitting next to him harder to not look. She finally composed herself as she threw paper wads at the back of Jackie Enderman’s head. It took her a moment to fully comprehend what Zach was doing when she caught him moving out of the corner of her eye before a thick ceramic cup appeared before her on the table. Her lips twitched up in a faint smile before she moved her hand and watched the cup lift off the table and she made another motion with her hand and she watched it hit Jackie in the back of the head, but before it could crash on the ground, she moved her hand again and brought it back to the table, allowing it to set itself at the corner to her left.

She could tell by how Logan was talking to Zach that they were close, but she was still hesitant because she had seen that before too. She would ask Logan a question or two later, but for the time being she didn’t see an issue with Zach. In fact, if he was close enough to Logan she might actually enjoy being his partner. She turned slightly and noticed the pencils lying on the shelf behind her and she smirked a bit before she grabbed them and placed them in the cup, her devious grin growing.

Oh… this class was about to get fun.

--

Salazar heard his name be called with a Willow Reid. He vaguely remembered the name, but when he got to the table and he looked at her, he smiled at her aura. Though his normal vision was nearly entirely gone now, he could see aura much better, like the less he could actually see the better he could make out aura. He didn’t want to be rude to her, since she sounded quite nice and he apologized first. “I do apologize for not looking at you directly, it’s very hard for me to see anymore, but I’m Sal. It’s nice to meet you, Willow.”

He grabbed a pen and on his journal he made a symbol in an angelic language so he could more easily locate it when he needed it. Angelic languages gave off a brighter aura than any other language, but he was thankful that he could still see a little bit still. He then spoke again, “Oh, and I should warn you now, sometimes I might not be in class. Really vivid visions are hard for me to come back from.” He said, “But Drake will tell you if I can’t make it, he’s over there.” Sal said pointing in the direction of Drakon and Clary’s table.

--

Clary was glad to be paired off with Drake. Cole had told her that he was nice and all around a good guy, and she smiled to him when they sat together, though she was worried about Cole. She couldn’t help it! She only had a crush on Colette Evans since she joined the school, but still she wasn’t about to be impolite. “Hello again.”

“Hey.” He greeted, looking over towards Cole who was just all around uncomfortable, and once Clary caught it, she took hold of his hand and pulled him and his chair through her and hers, switching places so he could be closer to Cole. He turned his head slightly, his senses going haywire for a moment. He gave Clary a thankful nod and he looked to Cole and she gave a sad smile to him. “I’m right here for you”

Cole nodded. “I know, Drake. But I’ll be okay.” She assured him, “And if not I’ll talk to Kane.”

Drakon nodded and reached over and gave her hand a gentle pat before Justin scoffed a laugh. “Aw… your boyfriend, Colie?” he chuckled, and Drake gave him a look, his eyes slitting.

“I’d watch it.” He growled, ice appearing on the table before him, “I am rather close friends with someone who can and will put you in your place.”

Justin just shrugged a bit and Clary placed a hand on Drake’s shoulder. He looked at her and she gave him a smile. “Don’t worry, he wont. He remembers last time still I’m sure.”

Drakon nodded, looking over to Sal, glad that he didn’t have to worry about him at all being partnered with Willow Reid.

Adrian felt the legs of his chair get forced to the ground as the lesson began and he growled a little, his eyes slitting a bit before Kane began explaining the journals. He looked towards Zach when he was called on and he smirked at his question. He heard two sets of laughter too. One was coming from that blood sucking pretty boy, Logan, and the other was more stifled. He noted that it was coming from Billie.

Once Kane wasn’t looking again though, Billie had managed to regain handle on herself, the back of her hand having been pressed against her lips as she did. Merfolk… what an exciting lesson, but rightfully Billie didn’t care. She had been around most every race before the school, and Merfolk were like full blooded angels. They were dicks. She sighed and when Kane was into her lesson, she began levitating the pencils from the cup and she sent a few towards Jackie, poking her hard in the back. Her fingers were tapping on the desk quietly with the rhythm in which the pencils stabbed her and she kept her devious grin.

However a thud at the door broke her concentration and the pencils dropped to the ground as Kane went over and opened the door. The Arch Mage walked in and most of the students seemed confused. However, he looked at Kane before he spoke. “Remind me, I need to carry around the keys for your classroom.” He said before changing the topic, “I promise not to take too much of your class time, Professor Kane, but I do need to make this announcement now.”

He stood before the class, his hands moving a bit and a type of ward was placed on the classroom, and he looked over the students before speaking again. “Good afternoon, students.” He began, his hand coming up to his beard. “I suppose beating around the bush would not be wise for this type of announcement so I will be blunt. This year, in this class, we are introducing a survival test for second years and up. There will be a few exceptions to who will be able to take this and who will not be able to, but it has been found necessary to introduce this test.”

Before any comments could be made he made another hand motion and the room was silenced. “This test will be administered in three phases, and after the first phase is completed I will come back and explain the next phase. This first phase is purely individual, and we will begin the testing in three weeks time. So be prepared, it will measure your knowledge of other races and how to survive in less than ideal situations. This test will be a written exam, and it will be administered over two days because of the sheer amount of topics that need to be covered.”

He noted a few looks around the room before he spoke again, “Each test will be different as well, to prevent cheating. This is purely your knowledge and how well you score will help you in the next phase.” He lifted his spell and Adrian snarled.

“This is horseshit! Why can’t first years take this exam?” he exclaimed.

“Because you are new here and would most likely lack the control necessary for all phases of this test.” He said.

“Why even invoke a test?” Billie asked and the Arch Mage looked directly at her. “Some of us have been here at least three or four years and there has never been a survival test before, why now?”

“The state of things outside the school now are getting worse in our world, so in order to better prepare those on their way out now, we are invoking this.” He answered and Billie’s eyes went over black.

Alex just looked at the Arch Mage and it just further confirmed what Clary had told them last night. Azrael was at large and he would likely make his way here once he found a way to make it dramatic enough. This boiled his blood because even he knew no test could prepare for what he could do. He shook his head and the chatter began around the classroom, spreading like wildfire.

“SILENCE!” the Arch Mage bellowed, and soon everyone quieted down. “Colette Evans, Amber Miller, Rose Evens, Adrian Desmond, Salazar Hardy, as well as a few transfers coming in over the next few weeks are exempt from these tests, and it is possible that others can become exempt, but once you are on the exemption list you will not be taken off.” He said, “Good day.”

The Arch Mage left, and Billie felt her blood boiling. “This is fucked bullshit.” She mumbled under her breath, picking up a pencil from the cup and as the commotion stayed going, she leaned back in her chair and threw the pencil at Adrian, hitting him in the side of the face. She quickly went back to sitting normally and balling up paper, tossing it at Jackie because the cup would be too noticeable at the moment. She couldn’t concentrate because something about this whole thing felt off.

However, Alex threw a paper wad back at her and she looked at him before opening it. She read what it said and it soothed her nerves a bit. She gave him a nod as the class began winding down, looking at the journal that they had for this class. You really wanted to know how she felt? Kane, you would regret that from time to time.

Alex sat there though, pondering it over. He and Billie would ace these tests, especially if it was about pure survival as they had been surviving their whole lives on pure instinct. The first phase didn’t worry him, but the others did. His eyes landed in front of him as he heard a small chuckle. Fucking Darren Flint. He didn’t trust that guy as far as he could throw him, and he seemed almost too pleased about the whole thing. If there was ever a team phase in these tests, his team would be screwed.

Alex sighed, opening the journal and writing something in it before sliding it to the side as the class started to get back in order. His head hurt now, and with his weakness already it made it worse, and he took of his glasses and began rubbing his temples. This was going to be a huge headache. He could feel it.

Zach's mouth twiched up into a smile as he saw the coup lift up off of the table with a motion of Billie's hand before it flow, hitting Jackie in the back of the head. He couldn't help the the quiet chuckle that came out of his lips before Jackie turned her head looking at the table. A hiss coming out of her mouth as her red eyes looked back at his partner, before her eyes glanced at Zach giving him a dirty look having heard him laughing. Zach frowned a little his eyes glancing at her. "What? Pay attention to the teacher!" He said quietly but his words having a harsh undertone. Making Logan look to Jackie as well, her eyes glancing at him as well for a moment before looking away.

He let his eyes look over at Billie once Jackie turned her head, the fact Billie wasn't to stuck up to us the cup he had put in front of her was enough for him to think it was possible to be social. Or well at least sort of. He let his eye roam over Billie as she sat facing forward again from getting the pencils, only to smirk before looking forward again. "Good shot." He whispered quietly as Kane started speaking.

--

Willow blinked a little when he apologized to her for not looking at her directly, though as he can continued she found herself giving a sad looking smile. "Ah well truly I thought you were simply shy and wasn't even bothered by it." She said softly, she didn't want to act as though she felt sorry for him and seem rude, but she couldn't imagine what it would be like to not be able to see the bit of beauty in the world."It is a pleasure though to meet you Sal." She continued, watching him draw on his journal, before looking at her own.

She looked back at him as he started talking again, feeling a bit of confusion at first because she didn't know what his race was. As he said something about versions she realized that he was a Seer, he was actually the first of that race she had met, which meant she had to fight not to ask questions about him. Willow looked towards the table which Sal ponited at, to see the boy sitting there looking at them. She gave a soft smile, her hand raising giving a small wave to him before looking back to Sal. "Alright well I usually only miss class if something is wrong with me or my sisters. So I can take notes....I mean if you want. Would..would you be able to see them? I'm sorry if that's rude to ask." She said hitting her lip a little bit, she really didn't want to me mean, but it was something she needed to know.

--

Kane fought the urge to laugh as she opened her classroom door, keeping a straight face as Aren spoke. "I will try to remember to remind you Arch Mage." She said a hint of amusement in her voice before the subject changed and she gave a quick nod. "We haven't gotten far in the lesson quite yet, so take the time you need." She answered her voice suddenly very serious, she closed the door and fought the urge to lock it again as he stepped inside, tapping the board and stopping the picture as she went to sit at her desk as he started. She knew that this subject was going to come up with Azrael said to be back, but she hadn't expected it to come up today, as she was told they were to wait a few days.

Her eyes watched the reactions around the room at the news of the test, and that first years were not to be forced to take this test. Much of the new years were actually relieved about this fact, only a few of them were not. It was the students that were second and so on years that seemed either happy or royally pissed about the news. She sighed softly as the questions started, and she was almost greatful that she didn't have to be the one that had to answer them yet. Still when the Arch Mage yelled even she felt herself jump slightly, it wasn't the normal for him to be so serious and despite all the years she both went too and worked at the school, even was his friend, she still wasn't used to it when it happened. When Aren said good day and headed to the door she stood and walked with him.

The classroom was already starting to whisper at the moment, she knew it was going to only get worse. "Aren, a word if I may before you leave?" She said softly as he reached for the door, her tone respectful as it was rather serious. She put up a spell of her own to block snooping ears. "I wasn't aware that I would be the only class giving this test when we spoke. It is a rather large body of students, while I am still perfectly fine with giving this test, I would like to request to ask Harlow for help keeping them under control when it comes time. If not him than even Chambliss or DuPage would do for that matter. Despite how I dislike asking for help, I simply can not watch them all myself."

Once she had her answer and he left Kane turned her attention back to her class, which was in an uproar by now. However, instead of trying to get the class back under control she simply sat on her desk legs singling over the edge listening to her students bitch and complain. There wasn't any use in trying to get this under control at the moment, it would die down soon.

Joryn frowned a little as the whole class went crazy about this whole test, sure she was worried, but it was mainly because she didn't know what the rest of the test was going to be. Things like this test on paper were easy. She could study hard and pass those type of tests, even though she barely knew anything about other races. But when it came to pshyical tests, she looked at the angry fire breather beside her ouit of the corn of her eye, suddenly over enjoyed he wouldn't be able to take this test. Because if there was ever a point where they had to go against their partners, she had no doubt he would be able to really hurt her.

Molly let a sight out her lips as the noise of the chattering around the room got louder and louder. As if it would really even matter what they felt about it. It was a waste of time to even think that their sad little complaints would matter if anything it just made them look weaker. She however, was rather quiet and calm, on the surface anyway. Inside though there was a panicked feeling of her own. If there was test of skill and power, she could draw to much attention to herself, which would be a very bad thing.

She worked rather hard to work over everyone's radar since she started working for Azrael without Daylen. Not to mention the fact she had a very illegal magical talent that could get her locked away if not worse. She shook her head though of those thoughts as the class started to quiet.

Kane looked at her watch as the muttering came to an end, before looking up at the class. "Oh no, continue. We have forty five moments left to the class." She said her tone clearly annoying. "We all done? Alright then. I'm sure that a lot of you have questions about the test, I advise going to your races head teacher for answers. Any mages or races without head teacher, can come and see me in my office after class." She said moving off of her desk.

"Now where was I? Right it is believed that the reason mermaids avoid other races is because they are racist. This is indeed true. Mermaids are extremely pure creatures that live a very simple life while in the water. It is this that makes them unprepared for live among other races like humans, half of their race is subjected to corruption and they became the darker beings of their race known as Sirens." Kane continued from where she had stopped when the Arch Mage ran into the door.

Molly's eyes lingered on Alex for a few moments as Kane spoke, reaching down she grabbed her bag and dug through a bit when Kane's back was turned. She pulled a vail of what she had given Adrian earlier that day, and placed it in his hand under the table. "That should help your head cutie." She whispered not looking at him as she did. She wasn't even sure why she did, it wasn't like she should care, or that she liked him. Maybe it was just that she was actually in a good mood, or he was distracting her. Yes it had to be one of the two. Plus it always help to keep your enemies close.

"....by letting their tails dry out in the sun and become legs. Mermaids are only able to stay out of the water for a week at the most without the help of magic before they die of what is known as oxygen poisoning. Four out ten deaths on the beach said to be caused by drowning are actually a mermaid's death covered up. The school itself has magic that protects Mermaids as well as Sirens from this poisoning, and even still we have only had two mermaids come to our school, both were turned Siren within a month of being here." Kane continued before taking a drink of her bottle of water.

As she started talking again Logan let out a quiet groan and Zach looked away from Kane at him. "I swear that if this classics always this boring, I'm gonna fail this test because I'm gonna end up falling asleep in this fucking class."

The Arch Mage felt a little bad for leaving this class of student’s in Kane’s hands after the announcement, but when she pulled him aside he gave her a nod. Her concerns weren’t ones he hadn’t thought about and he gave her a small smile. “It’s done. I will go talk to Harlow now, but I’m sure he won’t mind given the circumstances. Plus, I will be here as well. I’m sure the three of us together should have a relatively good handle over them. I will let you know what Harlow says later on.”

With that Aren left the classroom, and Billie had watched the exchange between their professor and the Arch Mage almost intently before looking away. She hadn’t been the only one either, but when her eyes caught sight of Clary looking to Drake something said she knew more. Clary probably knew more about anything than anyone in the entire school. It made her wonder if she did know, hell, she had heard about the survival test, so maybe she’d heard the full reason for it. She’d have to ask later.

Clary, however, was relieved to hear that Cole and Sal weren’t taking these tests, and she and Drake looked to each other. Clary could see him relax a bit too, and she gave a smile. “Feel a bit better with less to worry about?” she asked and he gave her a nod.

“I do. Sal and Cole are like my family and knowing neither one will be required to take the test takes the edge off. Just kind of makes me wonder just how bad the state of things are. Especially back home.” He said and Clary gave a sad smile.

“Hopefully not as bad back home, but I hear things are getting pretty bad.” She said and Drake gave a nod before he looked over to Sal. He seemed to be getting along relatively easy with Willow which was a definite calm for him. That and Willow had a good aura, he could tell by the faint colors he could see coming from her. He turned a little to see if he really needed to worry about anyone else, but his eyes slitted instantly when they landed on Darren Flint. Very few people had that effect on him, but Darren hadn’t been making a good name for himself since the day he met him.

He turned back forward when Clary turned a bit, and when she caught sight of Darren she kind of paled. Billie had been chasing him off the last year, but at least with Garret coming back she wouldn’t have to worry much about him anymore. Still, he had been flying under the radar for a while, and it made her wonder what was going on. She had heard, and spread, that he had been sleeping with Florence, but aside from that nothing major. Obviously he hadn’t pissed off anyone lately, but something told her that this year would change that. Darren Flint wasn’t the type to fly under the radar for long.

“Clary?” Drake asked, watching as she looked forward again. “You okay?”

Clary gave a nod. “Just hope Garret gets back before anything happens… again.”

--

Salazar had listened quite intently to the Arch Mage’s announcement. He had been trying to figure out why certain things were seeping into his dreams, and perhaps the reason behind it was the same reason the test was being evoked. However, now that he had pondered Willow’s earlier question for a while and they had a minute to talk he looked in her direction and spoke. “I’m sorry I never answered you earlier. But if you do ever take notes for me, if you could write them in a language like Faelic, II can read them a bit easier.”

He then sighed a bit and gave an almost sad smile. “and I’m sorry you have to take these tests, but if you want I can always help you study or something. I think I’m not on the list to take it because it would be far too difficult for me.”

He did feel bad about it. If there was anytime she needed her partner, she’d have to be paired off with someone else, and he just hoped that it wouldn’t be anyone that would hurt her. Despite having just met her, he could tell she was nice and he didn’t want anything bad to happen to her.

--

Alex sighed a bit, not quiet happy with all the chatter going on around them, but when a vial was placed before him, he looked at it before looking at Molly. He raised a brow, and nodded. “Thank you.” He said. He opened the vial, looking at it a bit before sinking the contents. Of course, he didn’t feel any immediate effects, but at least he knew it was a potion he was familiar with now. He pinched the bridge of his nose a but before he finally put his glassed back on. He would really need to watch how things went now, especially since this just confirmed Azrael was out for him. He didn’t want to believe it, and he knew Billie would find this whole test a nuisance.

He wrote a note on a piece of paper before tossing it towards Billie, and once she read it he saw her relax a bit. He had only reassured her that she’d do well, but then again he knew she didn’t doubt herself. She just wanted to know why it was suddenly changing, and he honestly couldn’t blame her. If he hadn’t had a clue, he would be wondering the same thing. To be honest, he was almost glad the test was being invoked. It offered them a better chance to prepare for anything major.

Once Kane started speaking again, however, he looked forward and took a few notes. As if he really needed them. Two summers ago he and Billie had a rather nasty encounter with some merfolk. So he knew that they were just racist because they were pure. They were supremacists on top of that

--

Billie couldn’t focus anymore on the class, it was too loud and her thoughts were carrying too loud in her mind. Her angel half and demon half were arguing in her mind and she was trying her best not to show it sometimes it got really hard though. She leaned back in her seat, spacing out a bit before her eyes focused on Alex again and she saw where he was looking. Darren Flint. Fuck. How didn’t she notice that sonofabitch was in this class, and she sighed a bit. At least if she ever got put against someone she could hope it was him, really give him a taste of his own medicine.

She barely laid attention to the lesson, but she heard Logan and Zach talking before she smirked. She knew a lot more about other races, and so Zach would be set with the classwork, so if Logan ever actually needed to copy off someone, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to copy off Zach. She turned her head briefly and spoke, “Hush up, some of us are trying to pay attention.” She was being super sarcastic, and she half smiled a bit before her eyes caught sight of Darren again, and she motioned her hand and watched the cup fly and break against the back of his head. She had kept enough concentration to catch some of the broken pieces but she allowed them to stay on the ground.

He turned and glared at her and she glared back, but she caught sight of the girl next to him. A new vamp, and she almost worried a bit for her before she made a mental note to ask Logan about her. If he knew about her, she knew someone would need to warn her about Darren. That mega douche.

--

First day back was already a blast, Darren thought as he sat beside his coexistence partner. His eyes had roamed her up and down a few times before he stopped. Maybe she’d be easy enough, even with the vampire-demon feud going on. It was obvious that she was a vampire, at least to him, and he looked around some more. That feud was getting heated again and it tickled him to death. It drove a huge wedge between the school, and it kept him out of the line of sight for a while. It was no secret that the Sanders siblings hated his guts, but with other things on their hands he had been under the radar for a while. And with that douche bag Garret out of the picture he was getting away with more, but with him coming back, he’d need to watch it again.

He was pleased with the idea of survival tests, and he had a feeling it was because a few cages in he’ll had been opened. One of which being his father’s. He had spent most of the summer with him and hadn’t returned until this morning for classes. He had seen the display at lunch too, poor demon breed had already been shown Billie’s bad side. Not that he was scared of it, but perhaps he could talk to him and know that strength in numbers with the fifth top demon coming back would be a wise idea.

A sharp pain came to the back of his head and he turned and saw a broken cup on the floor. His eyes met Billie’s and he glared at her and she glared back. “Stupid bitch.” He grumbled. His days under the radar had obviously run out, but that wouldn’t stop him from confronting her the way he always had. Perhaps not today, especially since she was obviously still hot about earlier, but he wouldn’t back down if she brought it on. Especially with Alex weak. That gym display would be his favorite forever.

He sat back forward feeling something else hit him, and when he turned, this time he saw it come from Drakon Flores. Another nuisance e in his mind. “So, Rose.” He began, deciding to ignore that one. “How do you feel about merfolk?” he asked, quietly.
