Willow blinked a little bit looking at Sal slightly confused, she had been listening to the Arch Mage's announcement and wasn't really sure what he was apologizing for in the first place. Though when he brought up taking notes for him, she quickly remembered the fact she had been talking before the Arch Mage came in and she smiled a little bit. "Oh yeah sure I can do that. I write most of my notes in Faelic anyway." She said before laughing softly. "Honestly, I forgot what I was talking about for a moment." She added before looking forward as the chatter started to die down.

Still there was a lot to think about, this test they were suddenly putting them through being the main thought. Why would the test need so much knowledge of other races? Not that she had a problem with learning about other races pre say. However, she didn't know anything about those problems that they were talking about. Whatever this was must not have reached the forest before they had left.

Willow looked back to Sal as he spoke again, seeing how sad he looked. "Oh don't be sorry little one. I'm sure that I'll be okay. I'm actually glad they aren't making you do the test too. But I'll be sure to keep that in mind if I need help studying." She said with a soft smile her hand reaching out and patting his hand before looking back at Kane.

Yeah, if she had to team up this would make things more difficult, there was only two guys in her group that didn't have a partner. Both of them were demon, which in itself wasn't the problem. But she had heard a few bad things about the one attacking people, and being a rude bully. Then the other one, Darren Flint, she had never even heard of. Still she was glad Sal wouldn't have to go through it, she rather liked him so far and he would have a hard time with this test, not being able to see.

--

Molly couldn't help the slight smirk as she watched Alex stare at the potion that she had given him, out of the corner of her eye. If she wanted to poison him she wouldn't do it in class, nor where his sister could see it as well. She wasn't stupid, and she didn't want to have to do all that class work by herself. She let out a quiet laugh at that thought before shaking her head.

She dug in her bag once more getting out a note book and drew the symbol for race in the corner of her paper to mark the class that she was taking notes for before scribbling notes down as Kane began to speak, along with little notes of what she thought about her words. Which she would put in her journal later on.

However, her attention was caught by the shattering sound coming from one of the tables on the end of their row and she looked to see Darren Flint. She hadn't paying enough attention in the first place to even notice he was in the class, a small smile from her lips before rolling her eyes. What a waste of space. She looked up at Kane when she released she had stopped talking.

--

Logan and Zach both looked at Billie as she told them to hush, a smirk spreading on Logan's lips after a moment. Zach stared at Billie quietly for a moment trying to figure out if she was being serious before he sat back in his chair. "No one is paying attention, because mermaids are the even more boring in books than real life." He said back to her with a small smirk. Logan letting a quiet laugh beside him as he sat back in his chair as well and started listening.

It wasn't until he saw the cup thrown at Darren's head before Logan even realized he was even back at the school. Honestly he hadn't heard anything about him in so long, other than that he was screwing Florence last year. But as far as he knew, Darren wasn't one to fly under the radar and so he had thought he actually got kicked out or left. Honestly everyone in the school would be happy if he had left. The small smile that spread on his face because Billie broke the cup against Darren's head faded though as Rose looked back towards them. Well fuck! That was the last thing that he needed to worry about right now. He looked towards Zach to see his eyes trained on Rose.

Zach's eyes stayed on Rose as soon as she looked toward them, even as she turned back towards the front of the class. He had no idea actually who her partner was, other then he could tell he was a demon from seeing him around once or twice. While that sort of thing wasn't one of the biggest things for him and Rose. The same couldn't be said about some demons. His eyes left Roses back and looked at the demon beside her as Kane stopped talking.

He didn't even notice that his body had stiffened up a little bit until he felt Logan's elbow hit him in the side. He looked to Logan his eyes going back to normal quickly. Zach kind of looked to Billie as Kane spoke to her, hoping that she hadn't noticed. If there was one thing that got to him, it was how protective he was over Rose, the last thing he wants to ever see was her get hurt again and though Logan seemed to trust Billie, he didn't really know her. He looked at Logan, who gave him a knowing look, before he sat back in his chair and let out a sigh and started listening to Kane.

--

Rose so far wasn't impressed, Zachary had said that this school was supposed to be fun. He had went on for the last year about how it was fun and she needed to be around the others like her now. He had almost begged her to come, because if anything it could help her with her little problem. However, instead of fun, so far it had been gossip, chaos, fighting, dirty and weird looks, and hating the queen bee of their little group. It was human high school all over again.

She looked out of the corner of her eye at her coexistence partner, who for at least the fourth time looked her over. Yup, just like human school. It was clear then he was either demon or something with equally dark blood, she could smell it though he wasn't bleeding and she kept trying to keep her mind off of it. She could already tell that this was going to be a hard class, but at least it was at the end of the day. The slight movement behind her partners head made her look behind him at the broken cup, before for where it was thrown from.

Even as she turned her head she could still feel Zach's eyes on the back of her head, but she ignored it. She had known Zach for five years before she became a vampire, and though it had gotten a little worse over the last eighty years, she was used to him being so worried about her. There ready wasn't a reason to worry, she was a big girl but still. He had said himself that he still felt guilty.

Rose was in her own thoughts as Kane started talking again, and Darren spoke to her, instinctively she simply shugged her shoulders as if blowing him off. Though she looked at him and sighed a little bit. "I've never meant one. Though so far from what I've heard and she's said they seem boring." She answered him softly after a moment before giving him a small smile. "What do you think....sorry I kind of zoned out. Darren right?" She continued still trying to be friendly. After all if he was going to be her partner all year, she might as well at least try to speak to him.

--

Kane was in the middle of telling the amount of time studied to see the how long it was said for the fins of merfolk to turn into human parts needed out only to be on land but for them to be able to reproduce and keep their race from becoming extinct. It was one of the things that she actually found almost uncomfortable talking about among her students. However, she saw one of her pencil cups fly across the room and hit another in the head before breaking. For the most part up until than she had been ignoring the slight talking, even the actions that Billie had been doing.

Kane stopped talking for a moment her eyes looking at Darren for only a moment, before looking at Billie closing her book almost, her fingers holding her place. "My apologizes if some of you find this subject rather boring. I picked one of the most easy races as this is not only your first day but also your last class of the day, I understand for some of you this class may cause issues. Thus I have even allowed talking. But Ms Sanders I will ask that you at least avoid breaking my things. Bring your own things next class if you must break stuff instead of paying attention." Then she plaused for a moment before adding. "Also to add to that. Any silly little fued fights will wait until class is over and I am gone."

Opening her book and continuing reading as she twirled her fingers, the pieces of broken ceramic cup moved along the floor and onto her desk before fixing itself. Kane completely ignoring that Drakon had thown something as well. Soon she was getting into the government of merfolk and she let out a sigh after looking at the watch on her wrist. "Well sadly it seems that with how long it took us to actually get started with our lesson it doesn't seem we are going to be able to finish the last bit. Which means that you all will have homework tonight for my class." She said as she started erasing the moving picture from her board as the chalk started writing the assignment.

"Tonight I want you all to read pages 537 through 540, as well as write a list of the laws and moral rules that merfolk follow in order of which ones seem more important to you. This will be a solo assignment." She said as another of the large books floated to each of the tables and she sat at her desk gathering her things and watched as the students did the same. Right before the bell rang, Kane stood and made her way to Sal and Willow's table. "Mr. Handy I need to see you in my office, if you would follow me." She said and as he stood and the bell rang, she stopped at Drakon's desk as well. "You as well Mr. Flores." She added before going and unlocking the door and she started leading them towards her office.

She gestured towards the two chairs in front of her desk. "Please have a seat." She said her tone soft and kind before she started digging in her desk. She pulled out a paper back text book, and handing it to Sal. "Here, this should make things easier for you read Mr. Handy the words have been translated into angelic. All but the sections on demon, fae, and elves which insisted on their own language being used."

--

As soon as Kane left with two of the others Devin made a b-line for the classroom door, he was well aware that he was not only faster then Logan but closer to the door as well. All he had to do was get out of this class as he had the classes with him before now, get to his room, and lock his door. He would be safe from getting his ass kicked.

Zach and Logan saw the chair move before Zach let out a quiet hiss getting up out of his seat and getting to the door just as Devin had made it there before he could get out it. A smirk showing on Zach's face as Devin came to a sudden stop with a surprised look on his face. Zach put an arm against the door frameand leaned against the other side blocking Devin in. "Devin, long time no see. Where's your sissy ass running off to?" He said looking to the back of the class where Logan had gotten up and started to make his way towards them.

"Move out of the way asshole." Devin hissed loudly. Zach let out a laugh shaking his head. "Naw I'm leaning here." He answered getting another hiss from Devin before he tired to push past Zach, as soon as his hand touched Zach's arm he grabbed, twisting his arm behind his back throwing him forward a little. Logan grabbed ahold of Devin's throat catching him as he stumbled a bit, lifting him a little off the ground. "I have two mother fucking rules! No hitting the women and leave other races out of it"! Logan hissed loudly before throwing Devin across the room against the wall.

Zach moved away from the door and looked around the room. "Anyone that doesn't want to get in trouble or see this needs to leave...now." Zach said loudly gesturing towards the door as most of the others left including Melody. Jordyn weaved through the crowd of people unnoticed until she was standing beside Alex.

Logan stopped as he get to Devin who groaned a little, his dark red eyes looking down at Devin before shaking his head. "Pathetic.... Get the hell up." He hissed before bending down and grabbing his dominant arm and pulling Devin to his feet. Devin letting out a hiss and throwing two rather weak looking quick punches before Logan let go of his good arm and he landed an actually strong punch. Only pissing Logan off even more, and Logan punched Devin in the face four or five times. This fight was to teach a lesson, it was even a fair fight. At least until in true Devin fashion he decided to fight dirty.

Devin moved out of the way as Logan went in for another punch and sank his fangs into Logan's arm. The action caused Logan to and look at Devin as the muttering ffom the other vampires came to a sudden stop as well. Logan had been bitten quite a lot over his six hundred and three years, it was too the point to didn't even hurt anymore, it just pissed him off to the point of no return. It had been a shitty day for him already it had taken more of a effect then usual, and as he saw Devin's fangs in his arm it coursed him to lose the last of the self control that he had held onto today.

Logan let out a dark laugh. "Are you fucking serious?! Now you're acting like a child." Logan heard himself say as even the whites of his eyes turned red. Grabbing a hold of Devin's hair, pulling his fangs out of his arm, Logan turned and slammed Devin's face into the wall rough enough for there to be a loud popping sound as for the second time today he broke Devin's nose. He gave Devin enough time to cry out and cover his nose before he grabbed him by his throat and slammed his back against the wall. "Now, apologize for attacking the fae girl." Logan said his voice eerie calm.

Devin frowned his eyes looking at Jordyn and Alex. "I'm not apologizing. The little bitch deserved it." He hissed voice all messed up.

Jordyn looked up at Alex as Devin spoke, but at the moment she didn't care what he said about her. She was more worried about Alex getting angry again when he was already weak. She slipped her hand into his, finger interlocking with his as the fingers on her other hand trailed up his arm slowly. "Alex calm down please, so you can stay right here with me." She said her voice soft and kind trying to calm him down.

"Apologize!!" Logan heard himself yell angrily as he slammed Devin's body against the wall again by his throat making Devin groan out a little. He opened his mouth to actually apologize when saw someone coming up the hall, a smirk coming across his face. "I'm sorry, that the little fae slut opened her legs and got stuck with that piece of shit demon." Logan let out a hiss his arm drawing back to punch him again, but someone grabbed ahold of his arm, his first instinct was to protect himself and he swung before thinking. Logan heard the hiss as he looked to see Ravenwood rub his face, he had come in without Logan hearing him and tried to stop the fight before realizing what was going on. He looked down at Logan and shook his head. "Alright that's enough everyone out." Ravenwood said his tone calm as his eyes looked at the others still in the class.

Tiffany frowned as Ravenwood put a stop to Devin getting his ass kicked and her stiuck hand out from the crowd her purple dust coming from her fingertips, before Devin started coughing violetly until blood started coming out of his mouth. Ravenwood looking at the crowd for a moment before the black haired girl with blue tips stepped out of the crowd purple coming from her fingertips. "I'm not going anywhere, this blood bag was being disrespectful towards my little sister. He deserves to suffer." She said angrily as the Arch Mage came into the room.

Clary had started taking notes as class finally got underway, but the longer Kane droned on about merfolk, she found herself doodling in the margin of her journal. She closed her eyes a moment before she heard Drake’s voice near her ear. “So, are merfolk really this boring or is it just they’re that plain?” he whispered and Clary shrugged a but with a smile.

“Probably both.” She whispered back, and once Kane stopped the class and spoke to Billie, both Drake and Clary turned to look at their friend and saw her face break into a slight smirk.

“Sorry, Professor.” She said, but the look on her face said it all. Kane had basically given her full license to cause mayhem with her own things and it had made Billie very happy.

Clary and Drake both turned back forward and smiled. “This class just got to be a whole new kind of interesting.” Clary whispered and Drake nodded. While Kane continued on with the lesson, Clary made a tic-tac-toe board in the margin and she slid it over to Drake and the two had began playing until there was the announcement of an assignment. Clary sighed. She already had ALD and Aura reading homework, but at least this assignment would be simple.

“What’s the matter?” Drake asked and Clary shrugged.

“Nothing. Just has ALD and Aura reading homework too. The ALD is giving me trouble.” Clary said, and Drake gave her a smile.

“Sal, Cole, and I are having a study group in the cafeteria. You’re more than welcome to join us.” Drake said and Clary smiled.

“Thanks, I’ll meet you guys there.” She said, but when Drake and Sal were called into Kane office. Clary gave him a smile and spoke again, “We will wait for you guys.”

Drake nodded and headed over towards Sal, waiting for him to stand. “Thank you again, Willow. I’ll see you later.” He waved a little and felt Drake’s hands on either shoulder as he led him towards the office. Drake had become even more protective over Sal since the last vision he had nearly took what he had left of his sight. Sal was trying to make sure he didn’t worry, but Drake couldn’t help it after watching him walking into an opened door this morning.

Once they were in the office with Kane, Drake made sure Sal took his seat before he took the one beside it and he watched as Kane brought out a paperback textbook. He saw the smile light up Sal’s face, and once Kane finished explaining it, Drake smiled too. “Thank you, Professor. This helps a lot. But I’m not fluent in Elvish like I am the others, so forgive me if I have more questions on it.”

Drake nodded. “Really, thanks professor. But I do have a question. Since Sal nor I really don’t have a head teacher, are things really that bad in our world? I haven’t been home in a while, especially since Sal’s vision this summer took him a while to recover from. I’m just concerned. And need to know if I need to keep a closer eye on my brother here.” He asked, and Sal looked in Drake’s direction.

“I don’t remember much of the vision. Just really dark, heavy auras. The Arch Mage has my journal. He said the vision I had filled over half of it, and he’s still trying to make sense of most of it.” Sal said before Drake went on. “Drake just doesn’t like when stuff like this happens. It triggers his visions.”

--

Alex sat there, and after a moment he began taking notes. Merfolk were by far the most boring race he could think of, even Elves weren’t as flat as the Merfolk were. He sighed a bit, and shook his head, looking over towards his sister once the cup broke over Darren’s head. He shook his own head a bit and went back to writing down a few things before he heard the assignment. Wouldn’t be took difficult. Aside from History and Realms, he could just speed through this. But he was just glad that he would be able to relax a bit after class. He’d be going to spend some more time with Jo, and with the way things had gone today…that sounded like the best thing for him.

He stood up, gathering his things, moving back towards Jo when the show began. His eyes immediately shot to Billie who was standing near the front of the gathered crowd, and he saw as Logan caught Devin by the throat. A small smile tugged at his face. He’d have to tell Logan how awesome that looked later on, but once it started getting intense, Alex saw Devin bite him. He watched, a dark chuckle coming from Logan that shook a warning over him. He had snapped, and this was Alexis first time other than the one time he happened upon the aftermath of Logan snapping. It sent chills down him, and one memory came to mind, but it didn’t have time to form as Devin’s words hit his ears.

His hand balled into a fist and his eyes blackened over, but once he felt Jo’s hand in his, he looked to her and nodded, his eyes returning to normal. He gave a nod. “Alright.” He whispered, bringing her closer to him and when Devin said something else, he felt the rage come over him again, but he calmed himself. He wouldn’t give Devin the satisfaction again today, but once he felt better, oh, Alex would find a way to make that little shit pay. He saw the vampire teacher come in and break it up, and Alex headed out with Jo as the Arch Mage came in, and he turned to see what happened and he smirked a bit at what Tiffany was doing. “Serves the prick right.” He said. “Come on, let’s get out of the classroom before we get trampled.” He said, trying to help her out of the room.

--

The small smirk that came over Darren’s face when Kane had addressed Billie had faded as soon as he had comprehended it. Well, so much for that bitch getting in trouble, but there were other ways to get her to a point where she’d get herself kicked out of the school. Still, he felt eyes on them and he had turned to see them coming from the vampire sitting next to Billie. Darren shrugged it off, and turned back forward.

Once Rose answered him he smirked. No one was giving merfolk enough credit. Of all the pure beings, they were the easiest to corrupt, as he had learned over the years. They were actually quite fun when the cards were down. He looked at Rose when she spoke and he nodded to his name. “I hope you get to meet one some day. They’re a riot.” He said. “But this is only when they’re starting to like the darker side of things.”

Once the assignment was set, Darren rolled his eyes a bit. A piece of cake. He’d have it done in less than 30 minutes if he actually sat there and decided to do it. He still had to get his dorm settled again. After Vaughn left last year, he hadn’t gotten a new roommate, and Florence was trying really hard to get reacquainted with him. Sure, she was guaranteed ass, but she was old news. He wouldn’t try with the little thing beside him yet, but he would eventually give it a shot.

As he gathered his things, he saw the fight that was about to happen and he hung back for a minute. He didn’t need to see this trivial bullshit, but he couldn’t say he didn’t admire a certain need for rules to be followed. At the same time though, he’d seen how the demons had become under Billie’s hands and it almost irked him to see another group leader with a similar mindset. It would only be time before there was a hiccup though, and he’d be there to reclaim his place. His father didn’t doubt him at all. Once Zach said to get out if you wanted, Darren actually took it and headed down the hall. He’d find that Adrian guy later, for now, the more distance he put between himself and that fight the better.

--

Billie didn’t even bother to look at Zach or Logan after Kane had spoke to her, and she leaned back and zoned out a bit before she realized that there was an assignment and she rolled her eyes a bit and gathered up her things before noting how quickly Zach got to the door, and her eyes looked to Logan. He was heading over towards Devin and she made her way closer, standing near the front as the fight started. She smirked a bit. Something about violence always got her a little… ahem… hot. However, the look that came over Logan’s face and the dark chuckle caused worry to pit in her. She knew that feeling all too well, and even though she was still watching the fight, a memory came into her mind.

Why couldn’t Alex have just stayed put for an extra five minutes? Five minutes! Billie was irate and Justin and Randa were behind her as they headed down the halls trying to find a now MIA Alex. “That idiot!” she hissed and Justin spoke next.

“Billie, he doesn’t know about there being fights yet, or the feud even. He’s been out cold for a week.” Justin said, and Billie shot him a hard look.

“He’s a fucking target right now.” She spat back at him. “he’s still not at full strength, and you know, he did kinda lose his fucking mind on Devin just before all of this.”

“We’ll find him Billie.” Randa tried to reassure her, but as they bounded the next corner, the sight that was just before her caused her blood to boil. One of four vampires that had Alex backed into a corner had hit him across the face. Billie snapped her fingers and two very loud snarls could be heard as Blaze and Storm pounced on two of the vampires. It drew attention to her as she made her way down the hall way, and she watched as Blaze and Storm moved in front of Alex defensively.

“I wouldn’t try that again if I were you.” She warned, and she and one of the taller vampires squared off.

“What are you going to do, hell whore?” he retorted, and another stood next to him. “You’re outnumbered.”

Billie gave a half shrug, watching as the other two vampires too off down the hall. Her eyes blackened and she spoke. “I like my odds.”

She stepped forward, standing toe to toe with the tallest one. “Unless you’re really that big of a pussy bitch.” She said. He slapped her mouth, and she rubbed her jaw a little, barely noticing a small crowd forming.

“You talk an awful big game.” The vampire hissed, and Billie let out dark chuckle.

“Well, I’m about to become your worst nightmare.” She chuckled, but soon she slammed her left fist into his jaw as hard as she could, and when the other moved, she grabbed hold of his throat and sunk her nails into his skin, watching as the blood dripped down in an almost satisfied manner. She threw him back against the nearby wall and she felt a blow connect her ribs with a sick crack.

The first vampire looked almost pleased until he noticed it barely changed Billie’s demeanor. Her hand went out and she watched as he was pinned against the wall, grabbing at his throat gasping for air. The only thing that saved him was the second one hitting her, hard in the ribs she had just been hit in and she broke her hold and slugged him in the nose. A loud pop was heard and blood came gushing out. Billie swept her foot under his and heard his head hit the ground with a loud thud, and she kicked him in the ribs, hard. “How’s that feel?” her voice came darkly as she pressed her foot against his face and when she went to stomp she was tackled. The other vampire had her on her back and went to hit her, but she caught his fist and managed to flip him over and she started punching his face.

Her hands were covered in his blood before long, and when someone grabbed her left shoulder, she back handed them. Alex’s voice came as her left arm was grabbed, and she violently tugged her arm. “Billie. Stop.”

She kept fighting it and soon felt another person grab her right arm and another pulled her up by her waist. She managed to fight her way out though, hitting Justin with an elbow in the face and forcing herself from Alex and Randa holding her arms. However she couldn’t get back at the vampires. She looked and saw the Arch Mage standing there with a ward between her and the unconscious vampires.

She shook her head, finally seeing the crowd and noticing Logan there near the front. Her eyes returned to normal in an instant and she looked down at her hands. Her left hand had a few broken knuckles from hitting to one in the jaw and she was covered in blood. She swallowed, hard. Before Alex came over.

“You need to get checked out. They broke your ribs.” He whispered and she shook her head.

“I’m fine.” She said quietly. She walked off, tears on her face. What had she just done? She had almost killed two vampires, and while she was doing it, she didn’t even care. She just wanted them dead for trying to hurt an already weak Alex. She took a few deep breaths, not realizing just how hard that was. She headed back to her dorm after that.

She snapped from her thoughts when she saw Ravenwood there breaking up the fight, and she saw the girl who had been sitting beside Logan came up and did something that caused Devin to start coughing up blood.

“ENOUGH!” the Arch Mage’s voice boomed as he came forward and knelt beside Devin. He waved his hand over his forehead and took a bright pink potion from his pocket and shoved it into Devin throat as he muttered a spell of sorts, and Billie had noticed the room was clearing out. She walked back over to gather her things, and she noticed Logan’s still sitting at his seat and she quickly scribbled something on a piece of paper and tucked it in while no one was looking and she slipped out unnoticed.

Lo,

Usual place at 7?

If he didn’t show up, she’d go and check on him later, but for now she needed to get a few things done, and one, she knew for a fact she’d regret.

--

After talking with Harlow, Aren knew he needed to go back and speak with Samantha. Of course, he HD agreed, just as he had imagined. So between the three of them this test shouldn’t be too hard to get through. However, the commotion going on alarmed him, and we he saw what was going on, he shouted. The room near froze, and as he checked on Devin, waving his hand over his forehead to try and get a good feel for what happened before forcing a potion down his throat to get his body to calm down, he stood up straight and looked at those in the room.

“Mr. Smith, Ms. Reid, you shall both also be joining me in detention tomorrow after classes.” He said, firmly, and he looked down to Devin. “Ravenwood, get him into the infirmary. I’ve managed to temporarily calm his body. And tell the nurses I’ll be there soon go help.”

He rubbed the bridge of his nose and shook his head. “You all need to leave. Now.” He told them, and he waited until everyone was out of the room before he sat against Kane desk, still rubbing the bridge of his nose. “One Sanders, Smith, one Reid, Flint, and whoever else gets detention tomorrow. I’ll have my hands full. Hopefully Julian can help.” He mumbled to himself and soon he knocked on Kane’s office door, and turned the knob. Once he was inside he saw Salazar and Drakon.

“I need to speak with you when you are through. Nothing urgent, so please take your time.” He said before leaving and Harlow had managed to find him. “Julian, are you available to help with detention. I have Flint and a Sanders in it tomorrow and we both know she’ll at least listen to you.”

He nodded before a sigh came. “Yes sir, of course, but you may want to read this.”

The Arch Mage opened the letter Julian was holding and looked at him. “An angel? That’s recipe for disaster. And the Arch Angels sent this?”

Julian nodded. “I guess. You’re going to have to announce it the day before she gets here. Otherwise things will get messy.”

Aren nodded. “Of course. Now, I need to head to the infirmary to fully deal with some fae magic. Come find me later. Samantha, you, and I need to talk about the test administration.” He said before heading off.

Kane gave a smile and nodded her head at Salazar's words. Though she was a little surprised that he was fluent in faelish. "Of course Salazar, any questions you have I can answer if you don't want to ask them in class my office door is always open when I'm here. Also I think that your partner is fluent in Elvish." She answered softly. "Also if you want to go ahead and give me the book I gave you in class I'll put it back." Kane added before Drakon spoke.

Kane listened as the two of them talked about things like what was going on triggering visions. Though she was a little tense and slightly leery about answering that question. Aren had told her to not inform anyone about Azrael being let out, and cages being opened. She knew that she would be asked questions about what was going on, but Kane had thought she would have more time to prepare. Not to mention thatwhat Salazar could remember of his version did worry her, she would have to ask Aren about it later. Kane let herself calm a bit as she sat back in her chair and nodded.

"Of course Drakon, feel free to ask me any question you need in that case. As I understand it and have been told so far. Things for Dragon's and Seer's haven't gotten to bad actually. At the moment things are very tense between all of the races but to my knowledge there is yet to be any actual fighting of any race out of school." Kane answered her tone taking on a very serious tone as she spoke, because this was a very serious matter. "The Arch Mage is simply wanting everyone to be ready for safety's sake. Its the same test the school held when the fairies started to make themselves known. Hopefully whatever this is will pass by quickly as well."

Kane gave a little bit of a frown as she looked towards her door, there hadn't been a knock and for a moment she readied herself to lecture one of her students. About the importance of knocking and how rude it was to walk in while she was with someone. But she saw it was the Aren she stopped herself, a soft smile taking place of the frown as she nodded. "Of course Arch Mage, I will head to your office when I am through."

After he left the smile stayed on her face for a moment, before she looked back down to Drakon and Salazar. "Hmm....oh yes. As I was saying. It is still a good idea to keep a eye on your brother and whomever else you care for. As a general rule." She said giving Drake a look like 'yes keep a close eye on him'.

Jordyn's lips slowly turned into a slight smile as Alex looked to her, his eyes turned back to normal and he pulled her closer. She was both surprised and happy that she was able to calm him down and so easily. Though the small smile was wiped from Jo's face as she heard what Devin said about her next. Really? Now she was a slut? Compared to some of the girls in this school, she was almost a fucking virgin, hell she was asexual compared to Heather Blackburn. Jordyn pursed her lips, before seeing the vampire teacher come in and stop the fight, and she was glad for it too. Even if she didn't know Logan very well, this kind of behavior didn't seem like him.

She didn't even argue when Alex started to take her out of the class, the fight was over, there wasn't anything to see, and the Arch Mage was there now. However, she stopped looking back when she heard Tiffany speak. Of course! She had hoped that Logan beating up Devin would be enough, but the words he had said were rude and disrespectful. Now Tiffany was making it official, to everyone else it just looked like her attacking Devin. But both types of fae knew what it really meant, it was the way the fae wars always started. Tiffany was pissed and this was the start of a feud with the vampires.

Jordyn looked up at Alex and kind of frowned at his words, he clearly didn't understand what happened. The UnSeelie didn't attack for the hell of it, if they wanted to get even, that's what pranks were for. She wanted to stop her sister and try to fix this before it started to get out of hand. But Alex said something about leaving, and she looked at him and nodded. "Alright." She said before heading out of the class room. After all Alex was weak right now, and Tiffany, well Tiffany would have to wait until later.

As they got out into the hallway Jo slowed her walk down and took ahold of Alex's hand, not wanting to make him struggle. However, she was quiet for a few moments as she started started kind of leading him, she shook her head frowning. "My sister is an fucking idiot Alex. I don't know what we are going to do now." She said looking up at Alex with a worried look on her face. "The UnSeelie aren't even the size of the elves group in the school, there are roughly thirteen of us here! And that's counting my sister that prefers our nymph side. Her attacking that leech means there is going to be a feud." She shook her head again sighing as she turned the corner into his hall.

She came to a stop at Alex's door and looked at him. "So you're still coming to my dorm right? Cause I talked to Amber and she is staying the night at one of the other fae's. So we can hang out so long as you want." She said playing with skirt a little nervously. "And I thought I'd go to the cafeteria and um if you tell me what you want I'll get us dinner so we could eat together? I have a quick thing I have to do before I get changed and its kind of on the way." She said before smiling at him.

After he told her what he wanted she turned to walk away before she stopped turning, taking his hand again and giving him a kiss on the lips. "Um just so you know cause I really really like having you as a boyfriend. What that leech said wasn't true. I'm...I'm not a..." She whispered the word slut blushing a dark red. "I've only been with four people, and only one of them weren't my boyfriend. I just don't want you thinking I'm like that."

--

Willow gave a smile as she looked at Sal, giving a small wave back. "See you tomorrow Sal." She said cheerfully before gathering the rest of her stuff. She had just finished when the fight started, her first thought were to look for her sisters when she heard what the vampire said about Jordyn. She quickly found Jo, standing by her pet, she saw the fact she was trying calm him down. Willow saw Tiffany in the crowd and stood joining the crowd as well.

After the fight was over, Tiffany attacked that worthless bag blood. If he wanted to insult her baby sister, fine if he wanted to start a feud with the UnSeelie. He could have it! Then the Arch Mage came into the room a for a moment she didn't even notice, at least not until he yelled. She quickly stopped her magic, but even still the coughing and choking continued. Tiffany couldn't but feel annoyed when the Arch Mage stopped Devin's choking. He was a asshole. He was attacking her sister just because her new pet was. And he deserved every bit of the suffering he was going through.

When the Arch Mage said she had detention along with the blood bag bedside her, she rolled her eyes. Big deal, she spent a lot of the end of her first year in detention. But the lack of a third name made her frown and she looked to the Arch Mage as Ravenwood nodded and helped Deving up, taking him to the infirmary. "Seriously Arch Mage? I am getting detention and he doesn't get in trouble. He attacked Jordyn, and called her a slut in the same day!" Tiffany said as the others listened to him and headed out. She felt hands on her arm.

Willow looked at Tiffany as she told ahold of her arm. "Come on, Tiffany youre making it worse." Willow said softly, if she kept going about it this way, she would likely have worse than detention tomorrow'.

Tiffany frowned at her sister before rolling her eyes and storming off, she went to slam the classroom door, but pink dust came from Willow's fingers and caught the door closing it gentlely. Tiffany looked back at her sister. "I swear! He must be stuck up some blood bags ass."

Willow shook her head a little bit pursing her lips. "You're just angry Tiff. You don't mean those words. You put the guy in the infirmary."

Tiffany gave her sister a dirty look, before sighing. "I guess...whatever. That blood bag deserved to get to in trouble if I did Will." She said and Willow nodded a bit. "Did you see where Jo went? I would rather if she hadn't took off."

"I think she went off with her pet. I like him what I've seen though, not everyone would be so protective over someone they just met." Willow said with a small smile.

"Jordyn's dating track record reads like the whose who of UnSeelie and other race crap. I want to meet him. Just to make sure he won't hurt her." Tiffany said frowning.

Willow shook her head. "I'll tell her next time I see her."

Logan looked down at Devin as he started to calm down and come back to reality. He wasn't even really aware of what all he had done for the most part. It was like he had no control of himself, he was in the passengers seat once Devin decided to be a bitch and actually bite him. It had been the problem he always had when he snapped and now he felt detached as he watched Devin start chocking. What the fuck ever. The little prick deserved. Probably.

When he heard the Arch Mage shout and turned to look at him kind of lazily has he moved back out of the way. Fuck! He had forgotten about all the others in the class. He knew that the one of the fae were there, clearly, but there was crowd gathered. They all saw him snap, something he worked very hard to hide from the eyes of others. He hated even snapping in front of the vampires. His eyes fell on Billie and he felt the remaining red of his eyes fade back to blue.

He let out a quiet sigh and looked back to Devin and closed his eyes tightly for a moment, he didn't even open them when the Arch Mage gave him detention, and simply nodded. Detention, god he hadn't even got detention until last year when this stupid fucking feud started. Because before then he was smart enough and could hide his actions better amoung the demons. And unlike Tiffany, he didn't argue the detention. What was the point? He certainly earned it. But he didn't feel bad for what he had done, he felt bad because everyone saw it. Sure it might have proven that he could handle himself. But it also showed that he was still the monster he could be.

Logan didn't even notice the fact something had been slipped into his things, he simply grabbed his things and left the class. He didn't even bother getting himself something to eat for dinner, he didn't want to be near others, or even be talked to. If he wasn't in school he would disappear for a few days. But he would just have to settle for his dorm instead. Logan used his speed to get to his room, locking the door behind him and sat on the edge of his bed, running his hand through his hair before he smelt the blood on his hand from the fight before he snapped, it was now in his hair as well.

With a sigh Logan grabing a couple of vials and started undressing on the way to the bathroom, leaving the bloody shirt on the floor for now. Turning the water to where it was scolding hot he stood under it for a few moments letting it warm him and he downed both bottles, it didn't fix everything. Hell even with the water scolding hot, it still couldn't make him feel as warm when Billie cuddled him when he stayed over. Part of him really wished he could have that right now. That would make everything better. He shook his head frowning a little bit, he had seen the worried look on her face. It just made things feel even worse.

After getting out of the shower he got dressed in a pair of sweat pants and a shirt, he wasn't planing on going anywhere. Instead he finally got his sheet, blanket, and pillow out and made his bed. Before picking up his clothes, simply throwing the shirt away, after all Billie never stole any of them. He grabbed his books off his desk only then noticing the note Billie had wrote him, he looked at his watch and thought for a moment before shaking his head. No, he wouldn't bring this to their meeting place, it was a happy place. He was far from that, raising into his desk and pulled out the Scotch. He would just sit and drink and do homework until he couldn't do homework. And then, well then he'd just drink. That was his plan.

--

Well that fight was certainly a interesting one. Jackie had stayed behind of course to watch it all unfold. As also Logan had been gorgeous when he stepped up as a leader, but it was the him snapping that had get her. God when he stopped trying to hide what he was and got the look like he was going to kill someone. It was a same that he broke up with her today instead of tomorrow. She knew that if it was possible to catch him before he got all pathetically sad and drunk. You could make him stay all alpha male for the rest of the night.

Of then Ravenwood had to could in and ruin the show, and then that fae bitch stepped in and she actually was a little worried about Devin. But when the Arch Mage came in, she was done, she wasn't going to miss anything good now anyway. Violet and Emily following close behind her.

"You know, he probably doesn't even care about the little fae bitch getting hurt." Violet said making Emily and Jackie look at her. "He's probably just jealous that Devin asked you out before he had the chance to come crawling back on his hands and knees again." She continued before getting a laugh from Jackie.

Emily frowned. "Or you know, he actually cares about their rules. And you know kind of badass."

Violet gave Emily a dirty look. "Who the hell cares about the rules." She blunted out, and Jackie looked down at her giving a deep growl. Violet stopped walking and looked at her. "I mean...um...other than me of course."

Jackie rolled her eyes at that, as she walked the rest of the way to her dorm with them following behind her. Until simplely walked in her dorm and closed the door without even bothering to say goodbye. After a quick shower she changed into normal clothes putting her makeup back on, before heading back out the door and to the cafeteria. She got a couple tacos and a chicken sandwich, being quick to leave so she wouldn't get lured into talking to anybody else. It was kind of a tradition for her now though, a bag with two tacos and a kind of sandwich, carrying them down the hall to her friends room.

Of course now she had to be bit more sneaky. With a bit of a smile she leaned against the doorframe, and knocked quietly on the door, waiting for the door to open before holding the bag up looking at Darren. "A chicken and a beef taco. Right sweetie?"

Drake’s mind weighed a bit heavy waiting on the answer. People he cared about were still out in their world, but a huge wave of relief came over him when she said there was no actual fighting yet, just tension. That lifted a huge weight off of his shoulders, and at least now he had something to tell the other dragons. With their leader MIA for now, Drake was in charge, especially since Elsa had left too. He didn’t fully like it especially since he had to keep such a close eye on Sal.

The Arch mage had popped his head in, and Drake felt himself zone out for a moment before Kane addressed them again and the look on her face said a lot and he nodded. “Of course, Professor. Nothing will happen to him on my watch.”

Salazar looked in the direction of Kane’s aura again and gave a smile. “Nothing does. Again thank you. I do have one more question, and it might be odd, but I have to ask.” Drake looked to Sal and saw his face turn a little downward. “When we go into the lessons on seers, may I be excused from the class that day? I know it seems silly, but I know what others think about seers, and I don’t like that negativity.”

Drake’s brow furrowed a little and he rubbed Sal’s back. “Hey, don’t think too much on it, bro. A lot of people think a lot of things about other races.” He assured him, helping him stand once Kane gave her answer. “Thank you, again, Professor.” He took the book out of Sal’s bag and placed the paperback one in it as they headed out of her office. All he could hear on the way to the cafeteria was about Logan Smith beating the holy hell out Devin Lively.

A small smirk twitched up on Drake’s face at the thought of it, but it quickly faded as they got into the cafeteria where Cole and Clary were waiting for them. He smiled a bit, seeing Cole patiently helping Clary with another of their assignments. When they got to the table he smiled more, “Clary, dude, calm down. Take it down a notch. You had the right answer the whole time, you’re just overthinking it.”

“Sorry.” Clary’s voice came, and Drake raised a brow as he and Sal sat down. “I do that when I’m worried. And there is a lot to worry about right now!” she said. The cafeteria right now was pretty empty, and Drake looked around.

“Why so much worry?” he asked, and Clary looked up at him.

“Logan is like a big brother to me, and I heard about what happened. And I haven’t seen Billie since class and I’m worried about her too. She might act like she’s made of stone, but stuff is getting to her too.” She said, and Sal reached over and patted Clary’s hand after the third try and she looked at him.

He gave her a soft smiled. “They’ll be okay, Clary. Don’t worry so much, it makes your aura start fading, and yours is very bright, so I don’t like seeing it fade.”

Clary gave a soft smile and nodded. “I guess you’re right. Thanks.”

Drake chuckled a bit and shook his head. “You can’t ever disagree with him.” He teased and he opened up his ALD book, “So are we ready to start on this?”

--

Alex sighed a bit when they got out of the classroom. As much as he hated not being able to kick Devin’s ass himself, Logan did him some justice. He was glad for that, but at the same time he wondered how Logan was taking what he had done. Even on bad days, Logan never got like that and it was a little bit concerning to Alex. His mind cleared though as he and Jordyn walked down the hall and she had explained to him what had happened. It actually made sense to him now, but then again his knowledge of fae dealings was extremely limited. Billie had been the one that studied other races their entire life, to see if she could gauge responses and see what races she’d absolutely have to stay away from. Alex on the other hand went with experience over studying.

He looked down to her, noticing they were close to his dorm. “Don’t worry too much on it. I’m here to help you too, and if things get too bad, I can always talk to my sister. I may have stepped down and let her take the reins completely, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t listen to me.” He said, giving her hand a gentle squeeze before they stopped in front of his door.

Her question made him smile and he nodded. “Yeah, I’ll be up there after a while. I need to check on the pups and take care of a few things myself. But I wouldn’t mind chicken salad and some strawberries.” When she went to walk away, he went to open his door when she took his hand and spoke again. His features softened slightly, and he placed a kiss to her forehead. “Jo, I wouldn’t believe anything that leech said anyway. Plus, in my opinion, you never came off like that anyway. And by the way, I really like having you as a girlfriend, and I do apologize that you got hurt earlier. You shouldn’t have had to go through that.”

He tugged her into a hug, and once he let her go, he made sure she made it down the hall okay before entering his dorm room, Billie entering right behind him looking… Well, not normal. “Something wrong, sis?” he asked, watching as she rummaged through her clothes.

“No. I’m just about to go do something I’m probably going to really regret later.” She admitted and he gave her a look. “Not going into details, but Justin is kind of waiting for me right now.”

Alex groaned. “Really, Justin?” he asked.

Billie gave him a look. “I can’t help that my demon half has been extremely dominant today, Al. You know what violence does to me anyway.” She said and he shuddered a bit.

“You going to check on Lo later?” he asked and she nodded.

“I asked him to meet up with me, but before I head out there, I figure I’d at least drop off a couple of his shirts to Clary so they’re not weighing me down.” She said, and Alex shook his head and she asked. “So, do you have plans tonight?”

Alex nodded. “I’m going to go hang out with Jordyn in a little bit. I figured I’d check on the pups, and ask you if Blaze could stay with them.”

Billie sighed, “Al, your birthday is next week, and I had planned on waiting until then, but…” she cut herself off and summoned Blaze and he gave her an odd look. “Blaze, are you ready?” she asked, petting her head and the hound gave a gentle nod. “Go then.”

Alex gave her a look as Blaze went and sat before him. “What are you doing Billie?” he asked.

“Blaze is yours, Al. She always has been even if she’s been mine, I figure I’d finally make it official.” She answered and he turned and hugged her before he thought about it. He laughed a little when she pushed him away and after she explained the summoning to him, he saw her go into the bathroom, change, and then leave.

He looked down to Blaze as he changed and after they took care of the pups he motioned for her to follow him as he began heading towards Jordyn’s room.

--

Billie had a feeling, as she approached Justin that she would regret this, but she pulled on his shoulder and when her eyes met his green ones he gave her a look. “What’s up, Billie? Randa not available?” he asked her, and she gave him a look before he laughed a little. “Lighten up, B. You’re uptight right now.”

She nodded and spoke. “You wanna help me with that?” she asked and he gave her a look. In the four years the two had known each other, Billie was constantly turning him down and rejecting him, not even giving him a dance at any of the dances.

“You’re being serious?” he asked, and she nodded.

“If I wasn’t, would I ask?” she quipped, and he nodded.

“Alright, I’ll be waiting. You know where my dorm is. Come by when you’re ready, I’ll shoo my roommate for a while.” He said, and she watched as he practically ran off and she got a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach. Why in the fuck did it have to be Logan? And why the fuck did he have to look so fucking hot when he kicked Devin’s ass?

With a sigh, Billie turned on her heels and headed towards her dorm, spending a little time with Alex before she changed and headed down to Justin’s dorm. She knocked on the door, her hair down completely, and she wore a rather tight pair of jeans and a loose fitting blouse. When Justin opened the door and she walked in, something felt wrong about the whole thing, but she needed to let out some aggression, and why not give him a shot. Who knew? Maybe he’d actually be worth a damn.

--

Darren got to his room with no trouble at all, the halls were almost completely empty with that fight having erupted so, he took the chance to take a shower and at least get started on his assignment. Tomorrow he’d have little to no free time after getting a detention from Harlow in second period for completely mouthing off to him. Then again, he also hadn’t realized until today that Harlow was a hell knight, and that he probably shouldn’t be messing with him anyway.

However, he did notice a bit of brunette hair heading into a room down the hall where someone he absolutely hated used to stay. And of course, it just had to be her. He groaned a bit, heading into his dorm completely before taking a shower and heading out into his room with his thoughts.

He shook his head a bit, throwing on a t-shirt and a pair of jeans before he sat at his desk and started on the coexistence assignment. He was about halfway through lazily doing it when a knock came to his door. He looked at the clock and smirked. Though he hadn’t exactly been expecting anyone, he had a feeling he knew who it was, and he opened the door and gave a smirk. “Well, hello there gorgeous, you know me all too well.” He said before moving from the doorway and letting her inside before he shut the door behind him.

“Sorry I missed you last night, but I didn’t get back until this morning, had a pretty interesting break.” He said, pulling out a chair for her before he sat down and closed his book. “Before I even begin asking about how you’ve been, I figured I’d let you know now because I just saw her coming in. Dragon bitch is back.” He rolled his eyes a little, his hand absent-mindedly going to his left shoulder where he bore a deep almost burnt looking scar. That bitch spit acid at him and caught his shoulder. Luckily they caught it fast enough for him to not have a larger scar, but it still pissed him off. He also knew she and Jackie had a standing bit of dislike towards each other too.

“Anyway, how’ve you been? Looks like you’ve had a rough day.” He said, opening his bottom drawer and waving a couple vials of blood to her as an offer. Very few people in the school had pure human blood, and Darren didn’t use his, so he, for the most part, gave it Jackie when he saw her. A bit of a thank you for not siding with that demon bitch that ran his group now.

--

Billie left Justin’s room a while later feeling extremely dirty. She shuddered at the sheer thought of what she had just done, but she stopped in the cafeteria before heading back to her dorm. She grabbed a couple of sandwiches and some chips, and when she finally got back to her dorm, she was glad to see Alex was long gone. She showered in water as hot as she could get it, and she closed her eyes a bit, resting her head against the wall. He was not at all worth her time, at least she knew that now, but at least most of her aggression was let out now.

She sighed a bit, getting out of the shower and looking up at the clock. “Fuck.” She hissed, seeing it was ten til seven. She shook her head a bit and pulled on a different pair of jeans and t-shirt before she began throwing stuff in her tote bag. Bottle of scotch, her whiskey, the food she had bought, a hoody, and she smirked for a minute and pulled a few of Logan’s shirts out of the closet before she tucked them in there and headed out the door.

She stopped by Clary’s room, and she knocked before turning the knob. It was locked? That was odd, Clary always had the thing unlocked. Billie made a motion with her hand and heard the door unlock before she opened it and when she walked in, she saw Logan sitting there. She looked at her own watch before she shook her head and smirked. “I so know you were not planning on blowing me off.” She teased before she shut the door and took a seat on his bed. “Because you know, that doesn’t happen with me. Nope. Sorry, you can’t blow me off Lo."

Kane looked to Sal as he asked his question. It was a little sad that he felt the need to skip the lesson on his own kind. She nodded her head a little as Drakon spoke. "Salazar, there are many races that dislike each other. Or is some cases all other races. But if you feel the need not to come. You are excused, I must say though that trying to hide from what other foolish people think of you fixes nothing." She answered before the two of them left.

Once her office was empty she let out a soft sigh pulling her hair down its bun, before she grabbed a hold of the extra book. As she headed back to her classroom she could hear people talking about Logan Smith and Devin Lively, making her shake her head. Such a shame that things were getting bad enough that races were attacking others of their race. Aren and Julian were right about things getting bad. She had hoped they were just overacting. She frowned as soon as she entered her classroom, things were knocked off the wall and onto the floor, frames were broken, and there was blood on the floor.

It was enough to make her skin crawl. Kane tapped her fingers on the wall and watched as her things crawled their way back on her walls and frames fixed themselves. She sat the book back in its place and frowned again at the blood on the carpet, Kane muttered a spell and watched as the blood faded.

Once everything was fixed and picked up she gathered a few things from her desk before heading out. Locking up behind her before headed off to Aren's office. As she bonded the corner towards the office hall she saw the salt and pepper hair that could only be Harlow and she smiled a little heading down the hall. "Greetings Julian, how has you're first day been?" She said cheerfully as she caught up to him. After a day of talking to students it was rather nice to talk to someone that didn't have the need to call her professor or Kane.

--

It wasn't exactly herself that she was worried about, she knew Alex would keep her safe just from earlier. Not to mention that she was fully able to protect herself, unless it was someone taking a cheap shot with a dodgeball. But still, it was the others she was worried about. Still what Alex said actually made her feel better, and she smiled slightly looking up at him when she felt the gental squeeze of his hand. "Thanks Alex." Jo said walking a little bit closer to him before they stopped at his dorm.

When Alex confirmed that he was still coming over she smiled and nodded her head. "Alright I'll get the food and see you there." She said cheerfully, and next thing she knew she was telling him how much she liked him as a boyfriend, and making sure he knew what Devin said wasn't true. She didn't want him thinking of her like that. Once again Alex made it look so easy to make her feel better. A slight blush coming to her face along with a smile when he said he liked having her as a girlfriend. She felt the little bit of questioning coming on, but pushed it away quickly.

She squeezed Alex's hand softly when he said something about her getting hurt. "Alex that wasn't your fault, he's a immature sad little man." She said before she was tugged into a hug, Jordyn put her head on his shoulder as she hugged him back. A soft sigh coming from her lips as she relaxed a bit in his arms. When he let her go Jo placed a kiss on his cheek before heading down the hall on her own.

Before she went to the cafeteria though she had to stop at her room to drop off her books, she dug in her dresser and pulled out a veil with powder inside and a small pouch out. When she left her room she headed down another hall and stopped in front of the single dorm. She looked both ways down the empty hall before dumping some of dirt from the pouch onto the ground, dust sprinkling from her finger tips. Jordyn watched as the vine grow until it unlocked the door for her, she let out a breath before going into the room, her nose curled a bit at how trashed the room was.

How in the world could someone live in this room? She shuttered a bit as she walked into the bathroom and grabbed the bottle of shampoo, taking the veil out and tapped a bit of power into the shampoo bottle. Once she putting the bottle back in its place she let some water run over her finger before rubbing some of the power on her finger making a paste and drawing the symbol for the word S'heama on his pillow. As she left Jordyn smiled a bit kicking the dirt away and headed towards the cafeteria.

A small smile spread on her face as she saw Clary, Cole, Drake and some other person all grouped together. Mostly because she didn't notice if Clary had left the room before the fight really started to get bad, and she was a little worried about her. She didn't want to interrupt their studying and she would be able to talk to her tomorrow they both had a free period so she could try to talk to her then, maybe get her history notes then too.

Jordyn got Alex his chicken salad and a small container of strawberries, along with herself a couple turkey, tomato, and cheese wrap and some fries. Before making her way back to her dorm having managed to avoid her sisters. She got back to her dorm and sat the bag on her desk before taking her shoes off and hiding her powder again. As her took her uniform jacket off and put it over her desk chair, she saw the passed had stained her fingers tips. An almost neon purple color and she frowned looking down at it. Grabbing her clothes she started towards the bathroom as the knock came to her door.

Okay she maybe as quick as she wanted to be, oh well. She sat her clothes on the bathroom counter and went back into her room, opening the door with a smile seeing Alex and gave him a kiss on the cheek as a greeting before feeling Blaze nuzzle her hand. Jordyn reached down at started petting her head. "Hi sweetie. If I had knew you were coming I would have gotten you something to eat. You can have some of my fries." She said before looking at Alex. "Come on in, I still have to change, it took longer than I planed." She said as closed the door behind them, the plant on her dresser creating a vine wall to hide Amber's mess of a side.

"Make yourself at home." She said fingers already unbuttoning her shirt as she headed to the bathroom, tugging her shirt off as she walked in the door, leaving it half way open as she changed so she could talk as she changed. "You look a lot more happy now." She said as she slipped a black and gray shirt on and a pair of jeans. Coming out of the door as she took her hair down and ran her fingers through it.

--

Jackie's smile widened a little more at Darren's greeting as it always did and she shrugged her shoulders as she came into the room. "Ah well I try." She said with a soft laugh. Before sitting the bag of food on the unowned desk, and shaking her head. "Oh that's alright sweetie, I went down to the party and graced the new bloods with my presence. Also fucked up a couple of peoples chances of hooking up. Not as fun as parting with you but still." Jackie said with another shrug. Jackie smiled a little to herself as she sat in the chair he pulled up for her, crossing her legs and watching him close his book.

Though what he said next made her eyes turn a golden color, just what she needed. That dragon bitch was always trying to get Logan to join her group though he wasn't a dragon. But he belonged to her, even if he wasn't dating her. The Alpha wolf half of her hated that bitch missing with what was hers. "Well that's just fucking great." She said growling a bit her eyes looking at how Darren's hand went to his shoulder. That was another reason she disliked the dragon bitch. She sighed a bit shaking her head, as her eyes still kept a yellow tint to her light brown normal ones. "Thanks for letting me know. I'll keep a eye out for her." Jackie said as she frowned thinking.

Of course that bitch had to be back, because her day hadn't been bad enough. She sighed and nodded her head when Darren said something a rough day. "I have, its been a train wreck. Logan almost attacked this morning cause some dick attacked him, then had deal with him breaking Devin's nose..." She answered before she saw the blood and it made Jackie actually smile a little, though she continued to talk as she took them. "...I tried to deal with the thing about Logan being attacked, and the asshole dumped me in front of my vampires and fucking switched dorms on me." She sighed again opening the lid of one of the vial. "Oh and it looks like I have a feud with some fae bitches starting. I wouldn't have deal with this if Billie hadn't stole your demons."

Jackie put the vial to her lips and tilted her head back downing the blood like it was a shot. A soft moan coming from her lips as she pulled the vial away. God! Darren always got the good shit and gave it to her. She looked back to Darren, her eyes going from red back to their normal color. "Thank you for the blood by the way." She said putting the other vial in her purse for later. She looked over at Darren. "So...what about you? How has your day been? What made your break so interesting?"

The Coexistence homework was so easy. Logan was done with it before he started to feel buzzed. Tipping the bottle up he took a few more swigs and pulled his Realms homework up and was half way through it, before he realized. He had no fucking idea what he was doing. He shook his head closing his book before he kicked it and his notebook off the bed. He took another swig before looking down at the books on the floor but left them there. What were they going to do? Sue him? Logan laughed a bit at that thought, before looking down at the books frowning. Yeah, well those book could fuck themselves because he would win. Assholes

Logan shook his head looking at the bottle, it was only a third of the way gone, normally it took a longer time for the buzz and feeling drunk to kick in. Though he didn't normally drink on a empty stomach. Oh well, he wasn't going to deal with people whispering and shit. Because if anyone else had the chance to beat the living shit out of Devin, they would.

He had made it about half way through his bottle when he heard the door unlock and he stared at the keys to the door on his desk, before looking at the door itself. When Billie came in he looked her up and down before smiling at her. Of course it was Billie, being all beautiful and smelling like a wonderful mixure of flowers and candied apples. Though he knew the flowers was likely her shampoo. When she started talking he looked down at his wrist although he wasn't even wearing a watch. Logan looked at Billie as she sat down. "Well that's because you're a girl. You don't have the right parts Billie. I don't really mind being blown off myself." He said before laughing, his words already a little slurred. "Watch out for my books by the way, their money hungry assholes." He added pointing down at them.

Logan looked at Billie and sighed frowning. "I'm not having a very good day B, I don't want to go out there around assholes that are to stupid to know anything." He said through slurred and angry words pointing towards the the door. "I just want to sit here and drunk until I forget that I just showed everyone how much of a monster I can be." He said shaking his head and tipping his head back, downing somemore of his Scotch. He offered his bottle to Billie, and watched as she took a drink. "That bottle was full when I started."

A confused look crossed Logan's face as he looked at Billies bag. "Did I you put my clothes in there? Or did they do that themselves?" He asked before kind of pulling at his own shirt, to make sure he hadn't taken it off and put it in her bag to. He sat back against the wall and smiled smelling the air a little. "Can I have some of your food? I am fucking starving."

--

Do it! Just do it! Molly let out a soft sigh as she pulled the blade across her wrist, blood dripping down into her hand. It wasn't deep enough to kill her, or even leave a mark once it healed. But just deep enough to make the itching and whispering stop. There was no noise in her head but her own clear thoughts and the soft chello music playing in the background. She opened her eyes and they stayed the soft powder blue they used to be as she watched the blood run down for a moment before putting pressure on the cut to stop the bleeding.

It felt so nice to be able to think clearly and she laid back on her bed her hair still wet. Towel still wrapped around her, starring at the ceiling. Actually more or less the things that she had written on it. It had started out as a comfort spell but soon became a protection spell from her nightmares and then she started adding more and more spells. And symbols from different races.

Still there were times that those didn't even work. Molly's eyes started to darken a little bit as she thought about that, so she just wouldn't think about it. Molly stood up and slipped on the first outfit she grabbed, a shirt that said Goth and Chill and a pair of jeans. Humming along with the music Molly sat on her bed dangling her feet off the edge, before she pulled her books towards her to start her schoolwork.

She was about to start working on her ALD work when a knock came to her door. She looked at her watch, it was almost seven and she really didn't get any business on the first few days of school. Closing her book she get up answered the door, a smile coming to face as she saw Adrian. "Hey cutie. What's up?" Molly said cheerfully as she held the open so he could come inside.

--

A little while later in Clary and Logan's room, Logan and Billie where joking and laughing. That was one of the best things about having Billie as his best friend. She could always make him have a good time, it didn't matter how down he was. She didn't even leave when had stood her up, hell she had brought him food and more Scotch. "Well I don't have to worry about that anymore. I mean hell Clary is my roommate now. I can come hang out with you whenever I want again now and vise versa. No more early mornings." He laughed a little smiling and handing Billie back her bottle.

"Actually you're drunk, you could stay the night if you want. You keep me really warm and it would nice not to sleep alone." He said patting the second pillow on the bed behind him. As much as he hated sleeping with Jackie because she kicked him in her sleep, he wasn't used to sleeping in a bed without his arm around someone. It was the hardness thing about being single. He tipped his bottle up taking a drink, trying to block the thought out. It was a little sad though, cuddling Billie when he was drunk was the only chance he ever get to cuddle up to her. Be as close as he could get to her.

Short of kissing her and of course other things. But oddly at the moment. Kissing her just a little bit would make his night, hell his whole month. His eyes went down to her lips and before his brain had time to catch up to what he was doing Logan pressed his lips against Billie's giving her a soft kiss that lasted for only a moment.

Logan pulled away from Billie and looked at her. Holy shit! He...he had just actually kissed Billie. Something he had wanted to do for the last four years. He kissed Billie.....and she kissed him back! He swallowed hard, his hand going up and tucking some hair behind her ear. "I'm...I'm sorry you're just so gorgeous, I..I couldn't help my...." He started before he started kissing her again. Starting out soft, but then started getting passionate the longer it lasted. Logan's hand coming up and pulling softly on her hair. His other hand going up her leg slowly until his fingertips lingered just under the edge of her shirt on her stomach as he pulled at her hair and side. He just wanted her to get as close to him as possible.

Julian hadn’t realized just how much stuff was going on until he had handed the Arch Mage the letter from the archangels about the new student coming in a couple of weeks. Not to mention the cages, and then there was the survival test. He sighed a bit, leaning against the wall, running his fingers through his hair before rolling up his sleeves and looking down at his brand. How the hell hadn’t he known he had been teaching a hell knight? How did he not notice it? He shook his head, and once he heard a cheerful voice he couldn’t help the small smile that broke over his face.

He turned and saw Samantha there and he nodded a bit to her greeting. “In a single word, exhausting. Not used to this much drama on the first day. Then to top it off, we’re getting a new student in a couple of weeks. Half human, half angel.” He answered, “What about you? I know Aren had asked me about the test administration, so he’s already announced it I’m assuming. It wouldn’t be so bad if we could locate the biggest problem.”

Julian’s eyes involuntarily blackened and he rubbed his brand. He and Azrael had more history than he cared to remember and saying his name often triggered spouts of rage, but he kept calm and soon his eyes returned to normal. “Sorry.” He apologized before he stopped rubbing his brand. He pushed off the wall and opened Aren’s office door for her. “Ladies first.” And once she went in, he followed behind her and slumped in a chair. “Are any of mine giving you issues?”

Alex was very happy as he walked down the halls with Blaze right beside him. Even though he knew just how nice Billie could be, it never ceased to amaze him how much she could surprise him. He petted Blaze’s head as they walked down the hall towards Jordyn’s room and he felt her stand close. “I know girl, it’s nice to finally be together isn’t it?”

Blaze nodded her head a bit and once they got to Jordyn’s room and they got in, she took her place on the ground near the foot of the bed. “I would have told you, but Billie just gave her to me.” He said, seeing her come out of the bathroom. “Something about an early present. “

With a sigh, he let himself relax a bit and he patted next to him on the bed for her to sit. “So how about we eat, we’ll work on the school work we need to, and then we can just kind of veg out after that?” he suggested and he looked down to Blaze and after he got his food he handed her a strawberry and she ate it happily. “She loves fruit. I think it’s because I used to sneak it to her all the time when she was younger.” He smiled and petted the top of her head before watching as she placed her head in Jo’s lap.

“So, did you still need help in Coexistence with humams?” he asked her, looking at the books she had for classes and remembering she had mentioned it earlier. “I really could help. I tutor in the subject simply because I’ve had to live with them since I came to earth.”

He took another bite before offering a bit to her. “want to try some?” he asked.

--

Darren was glad to see that Jackie came, but seeing her eyes turn he frowned a little. He did understand it though. That dragon bitch pissed them both off to no end, and when she said the thing about his demons, he nodded. At least he had someone who didn’t side with that bitch. Very few hadn’t sided with him because that demon bitch had managed to sullen his reputation by saying that he only flaunted his father’s status in a cage because he had nothing else. He knew the secret the Sanders had kept though, and that was about their own father. He waved his hand when she thanked him for the blood. “I have to take care of my friends. They’re few and far between here lately. But I can see how hard your day has been. Hell, you know that he will come crawling back to you when he realizes how badly he fucked up.”

Once she asked him about his break, he’ll lean forward a bit and smirk. “Well, I could tell you why there is a survival test now. There are these cages in hell, for the most evil demons, and the ones sick on their own power. There’s an increasing number, it hit fifty before the end of the year last year, and now at least 14 are opened. I only know because my father is out and about. I was helping him most of the summer. Told me to come back because it’d be useful to have me here with what’s going on.” He said, getting up and getting a bottle of gin. “Drink, love?”

He made himself a cup of gin and sprite and he made Jackie a drink as well before he sat back down and smiled a bit. “So, things here might get a little shook up down the line, if my theory is correct. Because if I’m right a big bad is out, and he’s got children here.” He said, and he took a deep breath in. “And if it comes to it, my demons will be back with me because who else would know how to protect against a caged demon than the child of one? Now I just have to wait around, but I’m patient enough.”

He ran his finger over the rum of his glass and looked at Jackie. “imagine it, the feud would end and we could realign our groups to how they were. Back to the glory days again.”

--

Billie looked at Logan a minute before laughing. “Hey, hey. I may not have the correct parts, but I wouldn’t mind it either. But that means teaching and trial and error, much too much work.” She said, and when he mentioned his books, she waved her hand and watched as they levitated back onto his desk. “Fucking bastards!” she laughed a bit more before it died out. What he said caused her to look at him and nod.

“I know you’ve had a bad day, Logan. And I get it,” she said, scooting back on the bed a bit to lean her back against something. “And if you want to sit here and get drunk, I’m here with you. Besides, of anyone, you know I’ll understand what you are going through.” She took the bottle when it was offered to her and she looked over at him before looking at her bag. “Good thing I brought more then. We’re both heavy drinkers.”

She laughed at his comment. “Well, earlier you reminded me that I have more of your shirts than you do, so I figured I could return a few of the collection.” She said, pulling up her back and sitting next to him before placing a bag in his lap. “Of course you can. I bought half of it for you.” She leaned her back against the wall and took a bite of her sandwich before waving her hand for her bottle of whiskey. She held her bottle up to him. “To good friends and good booze?”

--

Adrian sighed as he sat in his dorm room with Justin after he noticed the tie had been taken off the door he had been in the library most of the day, and he had already finished his homework for his classes. It wasn’t at all difficult, but now his roommate was being an annoying bugger. “So, are you going to leave again? I have a hot piece of ass that is likely coming back again tonight.” Justin asked, and Adrian rolled his eyes.

“Who is this hot piece of ass who wouldn’t stay if they wanted round two?” Adrian asked, his voice clearly irritated. Justin chuckled.

“Billie Sanders. I’ve been working at her for four years, she finally gave in.” He said, and Adrian’s eyes blackened over for a moment before it disappeared.

“Dude, she left. There is no round two for you, hell, you were lucky to get a first round anyway. But yeah, I guess I’ll leave and you won’t have to worry about me as a dorm mate for much longer. I promise.” Adrian threw some of his stuff in a bag and headed out. He rubbed his temples, as mad as he was at her, as much as he wanted to hate Billie, he couldn’t. He knew she did have order to maintain, and she had changed for the better it seemed. But for her to sleep with that wretch, he knew she was in a down swing. Still, he needed to get his mind off of stuff and he only had one person he knew he could get along with. And she had opened her door a bit cheerfully too. He entered Molly’s dorm and sighed.

“I hate asking, but can I crash here? My roommate is being a mega douche, and I’m going to talk to the Arch Mage tomorrow about switching.” He said, and he noticed her ALD book opened. “I’m sure I don’t have to tell you how easy the assignment is. I just got done with it not too long ago.”

--

It had been far too long. Billie was laughing and she had noted her pendant glowing a soft grey – white color the longer she and Logan talked. She was glad he was laughing again, and smiling. She knew how hard it was to show the darkest parts of yourself, but when she had done it, it was too early in the feud for him to do this for her. However, he had sent Heather and then Clary after her, so she knew he had wanted to be there. “I know!!” she giggled a bit, taking another sip. “Though I always have early mornings. I have to get in a hot as hell shower before classes.” She said and she leaned back a bit when he brought up her spending the night.

“Great idea. I probably wouldn’t make it halfway down the hall at this rate.” She giggled again, and she leaned against him a minute, barely realizing he hadn’t spoke again. She turned to look at him and smiled. “This is nice.”

Not a moment after that something happened though… something she hadn’t expected to happen either. He kissed her. It didn’t take long for her own body to respond, but a moment later it was over and she looked at him. Had that really just happened?

She felt his fingers on her face when he tucked her hair behind his ear and god did she wish she could find it in herself to speak, but she couldn’t. And he was apologizing? Don’t apologize! Just do it again! Oddly enough at her last thought his lips had found hers again, and this time it didn’t stop abruptly. It had began soft, but the more he put into, the more she found herself giving back. She had managed to bring a hand up to his hair and ran her fingers through it before it found the side of his face.

He was pulling her closer, and she moved herself so she could comply, but something broke her from it. How the fuck did she not hear the door open? “Hey, Lo, I just forgot my…” Clary’s voice came and Billie found herself moving away from Logan, trying to avoid any eye contact with Clary and Drake?

Drake looked over at Billie and Logan, not at all surprised at what they had walked in on, though the look that came over Clary’s face spoke volumes to her level of excitement. “Hey B. Hi, I’m Drake.” He introduced himself to Logan a bit awkwardly. “Clary forgot her bag from earlier here and I didn’t want her walking alone. So um…” he saw the bag she had described to him in the hall and took it over his shoulder. “Clary, come on. Sal and Cole are waiting on us.”

Clary tossed a look over to both Billie and Logan. She knew it!! Boy did she know it!! But soon she felt Drake’s hand find hers and she spoke again. “Oh, right yeah. I’ll be back in late, Lo! Sorry to interrupt.” She said, and once Drake had her out the door, Billie tossed her eyes to it and watched it shut.

Well, that was going to open up something. She knew it was, but… it was Logan. Billie looked at Logan and held out her open hand for him to place his as she picked up her bottle and took another drink before offering it to Logan. That could not have been anymore awkward, and she was inwardly cursing a bit that they weren’t in her dorm right now. At least Alex had to go through the lock on the door and couldn’t literally go through the door. She really didn’t know what to say. They had been kissing and then they had been caught by Clary, but God what she wouldn’t give for that moment to have lasted longer.

She’d give anything to live in those last few moments for a while because it had made her day… hell it made her year with the way her life was going now. At least she knew she’d at least sleep happy tonight.

--

Clary and Drake walked back towards the cafeteria in an awkward tow. Clary was smiling ear to ear, and Drake finally asked. “Why are you so happy?”

Clary nearly began jumping up and down at the question. “I know you saw what I did. I know you did, and they are so in love with each other it’s sick, but it’s like they’re playing chicken with their emotions.”

Drake smiled a bit and nodded, “But Clary, they’re both obviously drunk. Don’t you think that has something to do with it?”

“Obviously. But when you’re drunk, you are like a child. You don’t care what others think, you do what you really feel. And obviously they were both really feeling it.” She said, and when they got back to the table, Cole gave a look.

“You’re happy. Which is good, Clary, but you were like drowning in worry like two hours ago.” She said.

“I’ll tell you later. Too many unwanted ears around here.” Clary smiled a bit.

Samantha smiled when Julian turned to look at her, before nodding a little as he spoke. Though of course she really didn't know just how much drama he had been dealing with. Samantha was used to drama with the classes she taught though. She couldn't help the surprised look on her face at the news about the new half human half angel student coming in. "Why?" She blurted out before she had the chance to think over her words. "I'm sorry, I'm just surprised not a lot of angels choose this school." She added quickly before shaking her head a little bit. This school was widely known as the "demon school", it wasn't usually the first or second choice for even fallen angels.

She looked back up at him when he asked how her day had been, and nodded again as he spoke of Aren's announcement. She could see how Julian's eyes turned black as he finished talking, and she gave him a soft look as she spoke. "My day was actually surprisingly boring, I'm used to more drama then I had today. Aren did, though I'm surprised that he waited until my last class. I have feeling it was spur of the moment. And if you could help I would appreciate it greatly, this is one of the times I actually want help." She said laughing softly as she watched him closely.

Samantha wasn't worried he was going to hurt her, or anything of the sort. She knew enough about demons to know they often had control of themselves. She trusted Julian to control himself quite a lot actually even with his spouts of rage she had seen once or twice. Plus she was quick with wards. She shook her head a little. "That's alright." She said soft and calmly before smiling as he held the door for her, and she went in taking a seat and crossing her legs when she saw Aren wasn't here yet. "Actually surprisingly no, not really. It takes a lot to be called trouble in my kind of class. Though I did meet Billie Sanders for the first time today. I think I will like her, as long as she brings her own things to brake." She said with a small laugh.

"Though Ravenwood is lucky I can animate things. Otherwise he would be getting a ear full about the things Logan and Devin broke in my room after I left." She added frowning a little bit before sighing. "Any of mine give you any trouble today?"

--

Jordyn smiled as she worked her fingers through her hair, looking at Alex before looking down at Blaze. "Awe, no wonder you both look so happy now." She said before giving Alex a look of confusion as he said something about Blaze being a early present. Why did Billie give him a present? "Did you do something nice?" She asked him before it had time to click, she knew that some races aged up every year instead of every seven years. "Oh is your birthday coming up?" She asked stopping her fingers.

Jo was thinking to think back, to see if Alex had said he liked anything to her. Other than s'mores and rum. When she saw Alex pat her bed bedside him , and Jo couldn't help the smile that spread on her lips as she crossed the gap between them and sat on the bed beside him. She nodded at his suggestion, it was oddly nice not to have to pretend that she didn't want to finish up her homework before relaxing. "That sounds good too me, I can't do my history until I get the notes from Clary though." She answered before getting up and getting her food.

Jo smiled watching Alex feed Blaze the strawberry, the whole thing was adorable and she nodded listening to him. If she didn't know Alex was a demon, and was watching and listening to this, she wouldn't believe it. Jordyn looked down at Blaze as she put her head on her lap, and started petting her head softly. "I don't have any fruit but here." She said before ripping some lose turkey from her wrap and wrapping it around some fries before giving it to her. "Since she is yours now. I should warn you, if you're not careful, I will spoil her. I can't help myself." She warned laughing and looking up at Alex.

As Alex started asking about needing help, she had just popped a few fries in her mouth and Jordyn looked at her books nodding her head. She hadn't wanted to take his free period from him when he had asked earlier, but she really could use some help with the class, and if he was so willing. She looked to answer when Alex offered her a bite. "Sure." She said taking the food from him. "And if you really don't mind, I really could use some help." She answered taking a bite of his salad and giving it back to him. Before offering him a bite of her wrap.

"I thought I cause just use the same right answers from where I failed last year. But the arch mage changed my teacher. I guess calling her half monkey wasn't okay. So the course is different." She said rolling her eyes. "It's not like it wasn't true. Ms. Edwards is really hairy and half human, I could have called her worse. Which I pointed out, and it made things worse." Jordyn sighed looking over at her books. "We are starting with the right and wrong ways of talking with humans." She finished before taking a bite of her wrap.

--

A smile played on Jackie's lips as Darren said something about Logan crawling back to her. "I know he will. If I'm still single by then." She said nodding her head, though she didn't say anything about the comments about taking care of his friends. Because truth be told, as much as she like the human blood he gave her. Darren didn't have to take care of her to keep her around. She had sided with him from the get go, she knew he was a great leader, and even after Billie stole his group from him. She had went to see him as soon as she could. Still she wasn't going to say no to the blood.

When Darren started going on about the reason for the test she gave a confused look at first. Jackie knew about the cages in hell, it was something she had learned in Realms last year, but it didn't seem like it really mattered. Until he started going on about the cages being opened, and his father being out. Which she actually smiled about a little bit, because Darren was always going on about his father. "Yeah I'll just have whatever you have. I didn't think to bring my rum." She answered nodding. "So that's the reason you weren't here last night? Well did you at least have fun helping out your dad?" She asked him before taking her drink from him.

Though Jackie's smile started slowly fading as she listened to the rest of his words. A look of worry actually showing on her face as he said something about going up against this big baddie that he had been talking about. She gave a forced smile as she looked down at her cup, instead of him when he brought up the old days. "Yeah that will be great. When it happens."

The whole idea of things going back to the way they used to be sounded great. There was no denying that the demons and vampires used to work perfectly together with them both as leader. But that wasn't even what she was thinking about at the moment, and she didn't doubt Darren would be leader again. "It's just. Do you think if all of what you are thinking is true. Do you think that you will be able to take on this big bad demon?" She asked softly before looking up at him. "I mean, I've seen how powerful you can be and everything. But I can't help but worry if this guy is bad enough to be put in a cage...." She sighed a little before frowning at him. "I just don't want you to get hurt."

--

Logan smiled a little at Billie's response to him joke. "Hmm I'm pretty if it were possible. I'd be able to learn it pretty quick." He said winking at her before laughing and watching his books levitate to his desk, if he had been hanging out with anyone else, that would have freaked him the hell out. But he was used to Billie doing that kind of stuff and just shrugged it off.

He watched her scoot back on his bed better nodding his head. "I know you are, and I know you get it B, you're not stupid like the others." Logan said frowning slightly, he had been there when Billie had snapped at the beginning of the feud. He had seen most of it. And it had killed him that he couldn't be there afterwards for her like she was being for him now. He had sent Heather the night of the fight, and the next day Clary, because he knew if anyone could cheer her up, Clary could.

A smile fought its way through his frown at the mention of more alcohol. "A very good thing. This was my last bottle, I got to stock up still." He said before looking at her bag and seeing his shirts. And for a moment he really did think that he had put his shirt into Billie's bag. Until she explained they were the ones she had stole from him. God Billie was a mind reader bringing him a half a sandwich! He smiled taking his half out of the bag along with his scotch, and when Billie took her whisky, he sat the bag beside him before clicking his bottle against hers. "To good friends and good booze." He repeated before taking a bite his sandwich.

--

As happy as Molly was to have Adrian stop by, she was a little surprised by him asking to crash in her room tonight. When he looked away from her, Molly bit her lip a little bit. He had managed to catch her in a good mood, so her first response wasn't to just flat tell him no. When he said something about her homework she quickly nodded, seeing it as a chance to avoid answering his request to stay. "Yeah, I haven't started it yet though, or any of my homework really." She answered with a soft laugh closing the door behind him.

"Paige, Laken, and me have this thing the first day back. We get diner and I freeze the water and we eat on the lake." She admitted with a little bit of a actually kind of happy smile. "It's stupid I guess, but it beats doing homework and I don't get a lot of free time." She added with a bit of a shrug pulling out her desk chair for him before sitting on the edge of her bed and looking at her books. "I'm doing ALD and Coexistence first because they are the easiest."

She let out a soft sigh before looking at him, she never let anyone stay the night in her room anymore, she was so touchy in the mornings. One little thing could piss her off for the whole day, and she was could be horrible to that person. "Alright, I guess since you have nowhere else to sleep you can crash here. But I don't usually let people so, this is just cause I like you." Molly said before she stood up. "I should warn you though, I don't know what you are like in the mornings, but I am actually happy and can think straight. If you ruin that. I will be a bitch all day, especially to you, like I will set out to ruin your whole mother fucking day. So try not to be a dick." She said before getting out a extra pillow she had put up.

She took the pillow and throw it onto her bed, before looking at him. "Oh also I tend to cuddle in my sleep so, you know, you'll have deal with that too." She added with a little bit of a smile, because he actually looked like he would be comfy to cuddle with and she would likely do it even if she didn't usually in her sleep. Molly stopped and thought for a moment to see if she forgot anything. "Oh if you want to take a shower you can too, but all I have is shampoo that sounds like cherries and vanilla or strawberries." She finished before sitting back on her bed.

--

Some how Logan's whole day was starting to feel better, and it was solely for one reason that he had think of. Billie, his best friend. Something about her could always make his horrible days tolerable somehow. He laughed a little more nodding as she leaned back. "Well that's because you have to thraw out in the morning." He answered before asking her if she wanted to stay the night since she was drunk now anyway.

Logan got swept up in his own thoughts has she answered about staying the night. Maybe it was because he was drunk. Or maybe because part of him knew, or hoped that he wasn't the only one that felt the way he did. But he wanted to kiss Billie and before he had time to doubt himself, he did it. And to his surprise she kissed him back. Logan didn't even know why he started apologizing when he pulled back, really. It was like the doubt caught up with him before realizing that Billie had kissed him back. Why was he ruining it?

When he kissed her the next time, he had no intension on stopping though, he started soft but it didn't stay that way for long. And Billie was just into it as he was, matching him the whole time. Logan felt her hand in his hair and on his face before he started trying to pull her closer. He even started moving so that she could sit in his lap on they kissed. Then all to soon she pulled away from him.

Logan opened his eyes a slightly confused look on his face at first. He didn't realize that Clary was back as quickly as Billie did. He glanced at Clary before looking away from her. Damn it. It was over to quickly! He wasn't expecting his sister back so soon either. He shifted around a little uncomfortably before looking at the guy that came in with Clary. "Logan, nice to met you." He slurred a little nodding his head at Drake. When Drake spoke again Logan cleared his throat a little bit. "Yeah thanks for that man I appreciate it."

Logan looked at Billie for a second before looking at his sister, seeing the look she gave him. The excitement on her face. Returning her look with one of his own, inwardly begging her not to start her speech and to just go. He nodded a little at her be back late, before watching the door close. Logan knew that as soon as Clary got the chance to get him alone. He would get a speech, and it probably wouldn't be as easy to get out of as it had been last night. But it was Billie...and the chance to kiss her was worth whatever he would have to deal with from Clary.

Seeing Billie hold her hand out he smiled a little towards her, taking her hand and holding it, even as he took the bottle she offered. Taking a drink of the whiskey before handing it back her, this was a little awkward. And really all he find himself wanting to do was starting kissing her again. Because god! Kissing Billie was a thousand times better then even he thought it would be. After a moment he looked at her and sighed. "You know, I have a feeling that whole popping through the door thing is going to be more annoying than I thought it would be."

"You're still staying the night right?" He asked and picked up his own bottle and muttered. "Next time this happens I'll put something on the door." Before taking a drink of his own bottle, he looked at Billie and offered his bottle. "So I don't know this Drake guy, I don't need worry about him being alone with my sister do I?"

Julian looked at Samantha when she blurted out her own reaction to the half angel student coming to the school. He had his own suspicions, but he couldn’t be one hundred percent sure on it. Still, he spoke, “Lucifer’s brothers, Gabriel and Michael, are probably sending in their own after all of the commotion in hell. Despite it all, Lucifer knows when he has to tell the ones up top about issues. The cages is one of them.” He sighed, “But that’s just my guess.”

When she said her day was boring he chuckled a little, and when she brought up wanting help he nodded. “I won’t leave you high and dry. I have no issues helping administer the test. I’ve already got DuPage setting up something for those who can’t take the tests. Before the Arch Mage forgot. I know DeAndro is his assistant, but you know between you, Chambliss, DuPage, and myself, we’re damn near his advisors.” He was glad when they sat in Aren’s office and she informed him no one gave him trouble. When Billie’s name came up he looked to Samantha.

“Billie shouldn’t be much trouble, so long as she keeps balanced. And just, don’t allow her to bring any knives to class. She would be a very destructive little demon if she does.” He said, and he shook his head. “No actually, but Darren Flint has already earned a detention. I don’t deal with petty and he just wouldn’t stop.”

When she brought up the vampire fight, he sighed. “I fear we will have a school war on our hands if these groups keep pissing each other off.” He looked down to his hands. “That fight could have been a lot worse from what I understand. Alex Sanders would not have shown Devin any mercy, probably would have tried to burn half the school down. Luckily it stayed within a group this time though. If things between vampires and demons keep escalating were going to have to worry more about just the survival tests.” He looked up to Samantha and gave a smile. “But, it’s nothing to worry about for now. I hope.”

Aren arrived in a moment after he spoke last and sat at his desk with a heavy sigh. “Samantha, Julian, glad to see you both found your way here. Seeing as some new information had come to me about certain demons, I decided to announce the survival test earlier than anticipated.” He rubbed his temples and closed his eyes. “I didn’t realize that Samuel Flint had been one of the caged demons released. We need to keep a close eye on Darren because Samuel is a known follower of Azrael. We also need to watch Adrian Desmond, something Lucifer said to me about him struck me as off.” He said.

“Yes sir… now, what about test administration? I have Reginald working on something for the students that won’t test.” Julian said, and Aren gave a relieved sigh.

“Thank you, Julian. I’ll send DeAndro to help him. As for the three of us, we’ll have our hands full. I can only use so many spells to prevent cheating, and I know for a fact if we made them answer in their native languages, you would be doing a lot of the grading Julian, and I will not burden you with that. So, any suggestions at the moment? We still have a few weeks to figure this out.” He said.

--

Alex hadn’t realized that he had that he had said what he had until Jo had asked about his birthday. Blaze gave Jo’s hand a gentle nudge to give her a positive answer and Alex gave a nod. “It is. I normally don’t celebrate it though. After the first hundred it gets a little old. But Billie insists on partying and rubbing it in my face that I’m old.” He chuckled a bit and rolled his eyes. Of course, there was another reason he didn’t celebrate his birthday that not even Billie knew, but he didn’t like to talk about it so it stayed in. He let his sister throw him parties every year, but he’d never admit just how much he hated making a huge deal out of it.

He was glad to hear that Jo was happy with his plan and he nodded. “Billie said that when she sees Cole she’ll have mine. I guess our history class was missing a few today. Normally that doesn’t happen until at least after the first week.” He said, eating a bit more. He smiled, “Go ahead and spoil her. She deserves it. She’s always been a great companion.”

Once Jo explained her issue with her class last year, he couldn’t help his laugh. “Not exactly the best way to go about it there, but had to have made for some funny arguments. And oddly enough, she had very human reactions it seems.” He shook his head a bit and gave a bit more fruit to Blaze before speaking again. “Humans, as dumb and close minded as they are, are by far the easiest creatures to coexist with. Once you get eased into it. Should have been there my first hundred years on earth. It was horrible, and as much as I may hate admitting it, it’s probably made me softer than I’d like being around humans so much, but it’s been worth it for other reasons.” He said. He looked at her book and looked it over. “What are you guys starting with?”

His mind wandered a bit when he flipped through the pages of the book though, he stopped the memory from forming before it consumed him, and he gave Jo a gentle smile. He couldn’t let it happen now though. That memory was too dark to have around anyone else.

--

Darren couldn’t help but smile as he poured Jackie a drink identical to his. As much as he hated seeing her with unworthy bastards on her arm, he knew that if it made her happy it was worth it. Besides he’d much rather see her smiling than scowling, though he couldn’t deny the small bit of pleasure when he saw what happened after that scowl. She had a bit of a vindictive streak, but it was always glorious. He could remember how many times he had seen it after his group had gotten stolen from him, but now it made it better with the two groups having such high tensions.

He nodded at her question about his dad. “A grand time. Been too long since I’ve seen him, and for the most part we stayed in Mexico. Him being an ash demon, he enjoys the heat, can’t say I minded it too much, but the natives there are weird.” He shuddered a bit. “But what do you expect from skin walkers and shifters?”

Her concern didn’t go unnoticed as he took a drink. “Gorgeous, I don’t have to worry about taking him on. Dad is in good with him, so as long as no toes get stepped on I’m fine. Not too much I can say for others seeing as though they follow two of Lucifer’s brats.” He said. He knew full well that Alex and Billie were Azrael’s children and how if they knew he was out they would keep the demons on an even tighter leash. “I appreciate your concern, But to be honest, I worry about my group. They’ll get hurt or killed if they’re not careful following two idiots.”

He decided a change in topic was in order. “Tomorrow night what are you doing? After detention hours anyway. With dragon bitch being back and that douche bag Garret going to be coming back before the end of the week, I would love to get more time in with you before I have to start pulling some strings to keep off the radar for a little longer. Got something big planned and I need some more time to put it together.”

--

Adrian sat in the chair and listened to Molly and smirked a bit. “It’s good to have people to hang around, so it’s not all that stupid.” He said and when she continued on he chuckled. “I don’t fully wake up easy so I just tend to kind of grunt at people. If that is bothersome tho, I can try to string words together.”

She brought up cuddling and he nodded. “Okay. I can deal with cuddling. Kicking not so much.” He said. Oddly enough being around Molly for the moment was nice and it kept him from being too mad. He looked at her when she brought up showering. He had showered after gym, and he nodded. “Thanks, but I should be good til morning, I don’t know how I feel about smelling fruity. It might open up for some jokes. Unless that’s what you’re going for.”

He closed his eyes a moment and felt his body heat finally even out after being as angry as he was. There was no need to take it out on her, even if she had gotten into his head to get him to do just that. However, this rage wouldn’t have been quite so fun for the and his mind was a bit all over the place. “Out of curiosity, love, are any of the merfolk gone dark side still around the school?”

Of course recruiting on the outside had been much easier, but finding those easily corrupted would be a good start, and that last class would probably be the best place to gather intel.

--

Fucking A Clary! Billie thought for a moment as the exchange happened. If she didn’t love Clary so much she’d have probably said something, but Clary had done nothing but be there for her, so she remained silent. That and the look that came across Clary’s face wasn’t disapproval, but it was almost as bad. Once Drake had managed to get Clary out of the room and Billie had half a mind still, she locked the door with the wave of her hand.

Five more minutes would have been nice, and she nodded to him. “Oh, it gets a little excessive on my end and I don’t even room with her. At least Alex has to have a key.” She mumbled the last bit to herself more or less before she spaced out a little and then caught his question. “Huh? Yeah. I’m obviously in no condition to go anywhere.” She giggled a bit before leaning against him. “And if you would be the most awesome person ever and let me borrow some sweats, I’d forever be in your debt.” She giggled again. Even with them being interrupted, the annoyingly bright happiness from her angel half didn’t want to go away.

“Drake?” she asked when he asked his question. “She couldn’t be in better hands, aside from the obvious. He’s got Sal to look after and he does a pretty good job. And, if it says anymore to his character, he’s Ez’s right hand. Her stand in now.” She answered finally remembering she had questions of her own. “Before I totally forget again, my coexistence partner…. Um… fuck… goddammit I thought I got over this whole bad with names thing.” She thought for a moment, an involuntary laugh escaping her.

“Zach, right? Sounds right… anyway, off topic. Is he one I need to watch out for? He seems alright, but you know how I am… and that girl that is unfortunate enough to be paired off with fuckwad, if she’s cool, someone has got to warn her. He’s been quiet for far too long, so something is up.” She said, and she closed her eyes a moment, waiting for Logan’s answer. She knew Darren wasn’t the type to stay quiet long, and with the cages being opened, something told her that would just feed into whatever he had planned.

Samantha nodded her head at Julian's words about the new student that was coming to the school, but still, the idea of of an angel coming to the school was a little worrisome. The demons would surely react, in a less than welcoming fashion. Not to mention the other races, even that fallen angel girl...Colette still had problems. She couldn't fathom the trouble this angel would have.

Still she smiled at Julian when he said he would help her with the test. "Thanks, Julian. Knew I could count on you." She said before laughing a little and nodding her head. "Damn near? You tanslate any books that come in and deal with the fights that brake out, I mentor every race that doesn't have a head teacher along with my own, Climbliss stocks the infirmary, and DuPage is a history buff. Pfft we are his advisors. DeAndro is just a pretty face." She said in a whisper before giving a small laugh and heading into the office.

Samantha gave Julian a look as he said something about Billie bringing knives. "You don't actually think that she would bring knives to my class?" She said before sighing. "Thanks for the heads up, I'll make sure to check her tomorrow before I start class." The down side of it was, that might actually actually be interesting if she actually did bring them, but Samantha couldn't allow it to happen while she was able to be blamed. She nodded her head at the news of Darren Flint getting detention. "Well look who his father is, are you surprised? Maybe he just likes you." She said with a smirk.

Samantha frowned a little as she nodded her head as Julian talked about the groups fighting. "Honestly this little feud is starting to get a little tiring. Its been a year, let the petty little boy run his mouth and he'll find someone other than Billie and Alex to pick on." She said before shaking her head. "I'm worried though about other races joining in on the fight." She said but then smiled back to Julian and nodded. "I really do hope so, we all seem to worry to much, I doubt things are going to be that bad."

Samantha's whole demeanor changed from happy and relaxed once Aren came in and told them why he had announced the test ahead of time. She slowly sat up in her chair and her face went emotionless as she listened to Julian and Aren talk about DuPage taking care of the students that weren't taking the test. All the while a steady stream of swear words ran through her head. By the time that Aren asked for suggestions on ideas for the test, Samantha's arms were crossed against her chest and her hands were balled as she stared back at Aren without saying anything for a moment.

She was pissed off. Aren should have told her! As soon as he found out she should not been informed. He had spoken to her, he had a chance to tell her before now. However, she was a big girl. She could control herself until she had a chance to talk to Aren alone.or well, she was gonna damn well try. "I'll talk to Climbliss about finding a poison that might help, or taking their voices away." She said, though her voice was not able to hide her anger well at all, her tone harsh. "I can try to animate the test pages so that they can't see what is on wash others papers, though that will take a long of engery. So I'll need coffee or something."

She thought for a few more moments before making her head. "You should have told me Aren." She said her voice quiet before it raised to the normal level and slowly started to raise. "You should have told me that fuckwad was out of his cage. We talked two hours ago, you could have told me then. You know what happened between me and him, the shit he tried to say I did, when he got caught."

--

Jordyn looked down at Blaze for a moment with a smile and started to pat her head as Alex answered her. The way he talked made her wander just how old he was, but she decided to ask him that later then right now. Right now her mind was on what she could get him as a present instead, even if he didn't want to celebrate she still felt the keep to get him a present, wasn't that what girlfriends were supposed to do. Jo gave Alex a soft smile as she sat down beside him. "I think its nice. I've never had a birthday party, its sweet your sister throws you one. Even if you don't like it."

Jordyn nodded a little bit looking at him. "I heard about the other demons and vampires getting in a fight when I was headed back from getting our food." She said with a small frown. "There were a few demons in the infirmary when I snuck out. That's probably why most of them didn't show up." She shook her head letting out a sigh. Maybe it was silly but she felt like it was her fault.

Still she was happy at the object chance she gave and when he told her to go ahead and spoil Blaze, she smiled down at the hound, reaching out and petting her face. "That's cause your so beautiful, there's no way to be sad or upset with you around. Huh girl?" Jo said talking to Blaze before fixing her another bite of turkey wrapped fries. Looking at Alex again she smiled before eating some more.

Jordyn smiled a little bit as Alex laughed at what she had called her teacher. "Honestly, I could have called her so much, I mean really you could hear what my sister called her." She said with a small laugh. "But I wasn't really caring at the moment about the right way to do things as much as someone to take my anger out on. Plus like I said she really looked the part of a monkey." She said shaking her head but still smiling a little bit. She looked at Alex as he talked about his time with humans and nodded her head as she bit her lip and nodded her head.

"But can I ask, doesn't it bother you how disgusting and racist they are?" Jo asked him. "I mean they are so racist that they not only hate other races but each other. Which I mean the fae are racist, even the Seelie, they just lie about it, and as a race we tend to think we're better than others. But we all look different, and we don't judge each other. If you're one of us, or with one of us than you're a fae. That's where you stand." She said giving him a look before continuing. "And plus have you seen what they do to the earth? The village that was by where I lived used to cut down the trees just so they could crave pretty little things out of them. I could hear the forest screaming all the time even at night, it's what lead to..." She stopped herself though and looked down at her hands. "I just don't like humans very much." She finished quietly.

She looked over at the book in his hands and sighed a little. "We are starting with communications, because the first step to being around humans is talking to humans." She said repeating her teachers words. "This is the page we're on." She said and when he went to turn the page she reached over placing her fingers on his hand to stop him from passing it. She smiled back as he smiled at her though there was a trace of confusion in her smile, and she looked back at thee page of the book. "See like there is this huge list of things that I shouldn't say to humans, and things they wouldn't or shouldn't know. How in the world am I to remember this? Even the other races here think I talk weird." She pursed her lips before peeking up at Alex. "You alright? I didn't upset you did I?"

--

Jackie smiled taking the glass from Darren and nodded a little bit before laughing at his words about shifters and skin walkers. "Stupid wannabes." She muttered shaking her head before taking a sip of her drink. "That's the reason I never go to Mexico."

Darren didn't seem to be worried about this biggie demon that he was talking about coming to the school. Jackie couldn't help but worry even still, she didn't want her friend to get hurt even if his father was in good with him. Still Jackie gave a small smile as he assured her that he would be fine. Clearly Darren knew more about what he was talking about than she did after all. Right? "Alright, well then I'll try not to worry as much." She said nodding her head as she took another sip of her drink, listening to him speak. For a few moments before sighing and making a face. "Well it might sound bad, but maybe one of them needs to get hurt sweetie. I mean if they know that Sanders bitch can't protect them, they'll come running back to their true leader." She said with a small shrug.

As actually genuine smile spread on her face as Darren asked her what she was doing tomorrow night, and she ranked her brain a little as she listened to him speak. "It's just the first day, you got detenion already?" Jackie asked with a small laugh. Though she could help but think that Darren was kind of lucky, because at least he didn't have to deal with Garrent being his partner in Coexistence. But still she wasn't going to let that ruin the fact that she was happy Darren wanted to spend more time with her. "I don't think I have plans, well for after detention hours anyway." She answered before doubting her words. "At least I don't think, but I'll just cancel if I do." She said as a after thought.

Though Jackie couldn't help frown at the fact that Garret was going to make it where she couldn't spend as much time with Darren as she was able to the last year. "Stupid fucking Garret, skin walker is so annoying with his obsession over you." Jackie complained with a sigh and a shake of her head. Leaning back in the chair she grinned at him. "So what did you have in mind to do tomorrow? Like do you want me to come over and us just get drunk? Or actually do something outside?" She asked

--

Molly couldn't help but smile at Adrian's reply to her having dinner on the frozen lake, sometimes she was so used to thinking everyone she worked with didn't find the whole friendship thing useful, that she forgot most of them had friends and it wasn't stupid to do the same. She nodded at his words about normally grunting at people instead of talking and smiled a bit at the idea of being grunted at. "Hmm well then we should be good then, if it helps and you want they have coffees with breakfast if you wanna join me."

"Oh well I'm not a kicker, or well not with that over my head." She said with a smile as she gestured to the drawing on her ceiling above her bed. "The most I usually do is whimper a bit if the dreams get to bad." When he said that smelling fruity opening him up for jokes she looked at him for a moment before making a ticking sound with her tongue and smiling at him. "I would never do such a thing, if I want to have fun because someone is playing your ego. I would rather be the one doing it myself, Cutie." She let out a soft laugh before shaking her head of thoughts of what they had done earlier.

No, she was in her happy mood, she didn't need those thoughts getting her all worked up like they did before. "Anyway...it was mainly just an offer." She added before going and sitting on her bed and starting to work on her homework some more. ALD was so easy this time around and she managed to finish filling out the forum as Adrian spoke again. Honestly she thought he had almost fell a sleep there, and quickly looked up at him as she slid her ALD book away and reached for her Coexistence book.

Molly's hand came up and played with her hair for a moment as she thought, Sirens were actually the fifth largest group here but most of them where half breeds born from other Sirens. "Well like Kane said we've only had two actual Merfolk come to the school, most of the other Sirens are hybrids. Though yeah I think their both still here. There is Heather Blackburn and..." She had to think for a moment. "Piper Kellerman, though she isn't as well known. They have really weird group system." She asked before opening her book and looking over the page. "Why? Are you thinking of going after the Sirens first?" She asked.

She waited for him to answer before looking up at him from her when he did. "I should warn that they focus more on the control and seduction part of their powers than the other. Their race is kind of the school sluts so...you know, watch yourself." She said looking him for another moment before looking back at her book. Though she wasn't able hide the tone of slight caution in her voice about telling him about them. Molly wasn't the jealous type at all but she didn't really want to tell him about the Sirens, because he was her toy.

--

Logan frowned a little looking at the door as Billie spoke about Clary just coming in to her dorm even. He really would have a lot of getting used to watching himself while living with his little sister. Even still though, the idea of living with her over Jackie, damn sure made it worth it. The biggest thing though was that he would probably have to get used to not just changing out in the room like he normally did. Logan looked back to her when it took a second to answer his question before smiling at her answer. "Good." He said wrapping an arm around her, his hand coming to rest at her waist after she leaned against him.

A chuckle coming from his lips at the thing about the sweats, partly because of the question and partly because of that giggle that came from her always made him smile. "Of course I have some sweats for you to steal, B. Though should I get that debt in writing?" Logan joked, before adding. "I'll try to get up in a second, not sure I can yet."

Logan gave a nod after asking about Drake, his body tone being serious at the moment, because he didn't know Drake and being drunk only made him worry more about Clary's safety. Although if he was Ez's right hand man than that had to make him a pretty good guy. Because he had seen Ez around her dragons, and knew she didn't take any shit from her group, hell they had to be one of the top three most controlled in the school. He nodded after staying quiet for a few moments and relaxed again. "Alright, well I mean if you and Ez trust him so much. I don't think of I've ever met Sal either though."

Logan couldn't help but laugh lightly as Billie tried to figure out Zach's name, her annoyance at herself only making it even more funny. "Oh yeah, Zach's cool. You don't have to worry about him, if there is any vamp I trust it's him. He's like....my right hand man, and hates Jackie almost as much as you. I think his mate died in one of the werewolf wars or something." He answered before frowning a little bit at the mention of Darren sitting by Rose. "That's Rose, don't worry I plan to talk Zach about that tomorrow in BL. Their kinda like Clary and me, but a lot more fucked up. But she's a sweetheart, once you're past the blood issue." He said before letting out a sigh shaking his head. "I didn't even know fuckwad was coming back this year, I thought he left the school last year it was so fucking peaceful.....other than the fighting, of course."

Closing his eyes Logan leaned his forehead against the side Billies head for a moment, sometimes it really sucked how good she always smelt. "Oh right sweats." He said with a laugh as he pulled himself away from her and started to get up out of the bed, as soon as he took two steps though he had too grab ahold of the end of his bed frame to keep himself from falling over. Looking over to Billie on the bed a laugh from came from his lips and he smirked at her. "I really should have thought this through and just gave you my clothes, cause I think my legs are on backwards or something." He said before stumbling a bit more slowly using the bed frame and his desk to get over to his dresser, pulling out one of his t-shirts and a pair of sweat pants. Logan threw them other on the bed close to her before sitting down in his desk chair not watching as she got changed. "You know the good thing is with Garret coming back, Darren isn't going to be able to hide out and be quiet. Cause you know he going to be keeping a close watch on him." He said before laughing.

"You remember when you and I were looking for him for starting shit with Clary after I introduced her to you guys. Garret got pissed cause we couldn't find him and used his smoke to hunt him down." He laughed again shaking his head and let out a sad sigh, he missed when the whole group could hang out in the open. Logan looked back at Billie when called his attention back to her and smirked a bit looking her over. "You know B, I don't know how, but you always look hotter in my clothes then I do." He said before stumbling over to his bed and laying down before patting the place beside him.

Julian was honesty glad for a bit of lighthearted conversation at first, and he had chuckled at Samantha’s comment about DeAndro. Honestly, Julian hadn’t had a lot of interaction with him, as he was always busy with something, but something about DeAndro never sat right with him. Maybe it was that he knew Aren was getting ready to retire, even if it was still ways away, and he’d been at the school just as long as Aren had. He wasn’t sure he’d know how to respond to a new Arch Mage. Especially one who seemed so out of place. He honestly snapped himself back to reality when Aren had begun explaining why the announcement was made early. He knew his own eyes had blackened just at the mention of Azrael, but he looked to Samantha.

He may not have known the full details of it, but he was the Hell Knight had thrown Samuel in the cage at Lucifer’s command. He had known that Samantha had been innocent, as she had been ruled from the others as well, but he also knew that there was more to the story than even he knew. He stood, and as they spoke about the test, he stood behind her chair, making sure to remain calm. “I’ll stay up with you, Samantha, and if it helps any, I can at least do the demon tests in native tongue. It’ll give about half the class for you, and the demonic dialect now is much simpler to understand.”

It was quiet for a moment, and Aren was obviously processing their thoughts. However, once Samantha started speaking, Julian gently rubbed her shoulders as the Arch Mage looked to her. “And then have you either teach a class angry or have to deal with an injured student immediately after your class knowing you were angry. Not likely. Granted, yes, I should have told you sooner, but in the scheme of things it seemed best to wait.” Aren answered before he looked to Julian and then back to Samantha. “Besides, we have other issues to worry about and let’s be honest, Flint isn’t te biggest of them. As for the test administration, I have full confidences in your combined abilities, and I believe that doing the demons in native tongue and the others with animated pages would be a good route.”

Aren sat in his chair as DeAndro entered, “Um, sir, another letter from the angels has arrived.” He said, and Aren waved his hand and the letter appeared before him. He paused, briefly and ran his fingers through his hair. “Thank you, DeAndro, you are dismissed.” Once DeAndro left he looked to Samantha and Julian. “Not only do we have a half angel coming in about two weeks, but apparently tomorrow we have a full angel coming down.”

Julian rolled his eyes and sighed a bit. “The demons won’t take kindly to it.” He said, “I mean, I’ll do all that I can to keep the violence down, but I also have a feud to watch too.”

Aren simply waved a hand. “Billie will stop it, I mean she’s been protecting Colette from them. She’s undeniably Lucifer’s child, even if she’s not. But, if you would feel better, I have some free time sixth period that we can discuss a better action plan for it.”

Julian sighed, still rubbing Samantha shoulders. It was helping him a little too, especially knowing that he’d now be watching over angels as well. He didn’t know how she managed so many races. He had a large group of his own and it drove him half mad, but having the angels too was going to kill him. This year would definitely prove how much he could handle as a teacher. “Sometimes this makes me miss the battlefield.” He mumbled.

--

Alex listened as Jo went on, but he didn’t say anything more on his birthday after she said what she had. It was nice that B did what she did, sure, but he never felt the need to celebrate. It was just another year he was alive, and at this rate he was sure he’d outlive a lot of the people he had cared for. He had already outlived so many of them. He listened to her as she said her piece about humans and nodded a bit before sighing.

“I never said I liked them, don’t get me wrong on that. I’m pretty sure it’s in demon programming to hate humans, but there’s other reasons for that I guess.” He said, and when she started getting upset he felt himself feeling a little bad. “They are pretty gross, but if we didn’t have humans, who else would collectively hone all of the hatred of these races. In a weird way, they kind of prevent us from lashing out too much on each other.”

He listened to her and when she got to the page they were starting on he chuckled a bit reading some of the stuff, but as Jo went on he paused. “No, no, you didn’t upset me. Just something came to mind and stuck a little longer than it should have is all. I didn’t mean for it show, I do apologize.”

He decided that the best way to move forward was explaining why some of the things on the page weren’t exactly good to say to hjmans. As naïve as most were, he also knew that others werent. Like hunters. Those pieces of work could be a right pain in the assignment as he had found out ages ago. Still, after a while and after getting her assignment finished,, he pushed the book away and put an arm around her. “How about we just stop talking about schoolwork for a while? My brain is screaming at me because it’s done with all of it.” He chuckled. “So, how about now we just kind of get to know each other a little better? So, you can ask me anything and I’ll answer. And vice versa, unless of course the question feels uncomfortable.”

Alex felt better now, the bit of relaxation was definitely what he needed, even if he knew he wouldn’t be fully recovered for a few more days. It always took its toll, his anger… but it was a downfall in his genetics. So he couldn’t fully blame himself for it.

--

Darren chuckled at her comment about not going to Mexico and shrugged. “Got to keep my old man happy tho. I can’t even remember how long he was in the cage for, but helping him readjust and spending time with him was worth being around weird as fuck natives.”

Darren was glad to hear that she wouldn’t worry so much and gave her a grin. “Good, I don’t need you worrying too much about me. As much as I do appreciate the concern. I’d rather you not have to worry.” He wasn’t lying about it. He hated to worry her, especially with how things tended to go when people who sided with him were found out. He chuckled at her thought tho. “This could be true, unfortunately. At least I still have Justin though. He’s done a hell of a job helping me stay off the radar.”

When she commented about him already getting detention he shrugged. “One word. Harlow. He’s the Hell Knight that threw my dad in the cage. He just doesn’t like me, so when I mouthed off to him, I got detention. Oh well, shouldn’t be too bad though. So long as I’m not serving with a bunch of idiots.” He smiled at her response to him though. She’d cancel plans for him, well if that didn’t make him feel a little special he’d be lying. However, Garret’s name his eyes blackened for a brief second but returned to normal just as quickly.

“He’s just jealous is all, hon. I can’t honestly say I’d blame him, I’d be jealous of me too.” He said, a bit of a joke but not too much. Though he question made him think a minute. “I figure we could go out. Maybe meet up in the forest near the lake. It’s supposed to be a clear night, pretty dark too.” He said as he moved his hand and watched as the shadow opened up his closet and brought a box back.

“And before I forget, I did bring you something back.” He said, pulling out a small box with a pair of Opal earrings in it. “You wouldn’t believe how easy the humans are to sucker in Mexico. It’s hilarious really, and since I may not have another chance before your birthday to give them to you, might as well now.”

--

Adrian looked to Molly, briefly, at her invitation to breakfast with her and he nodded. “I will join you. Besides, I wouldn’t want to be rude and not join you after this. Which again, thank you.” He said, and he brought up a book as he read a bit. He was still listening to Molly though, and when she motioned upward he saw the symbols and looked at them curiously for a moment. He recognized some but not many, and they were intriguing.

“I’m sure the whimpers won’t be a problem. I may wake up for them, but usually once I’m asleep I’m out until morning.” He said, and he went back to his book, briefly, before he chuckled at her response. “Again, thanks for the offer, but I’ll pass. But I do have to say you are very… good at pushing certain buttons.” He said.

At this point now, he was just staring at the pages of his book, but when she answered his question he nodded. And then came her warning and he nodded. “Thanks for the heads up, but being part dragon does make allure harder. Something about the psyche of a dragon or some shit. It was explained to me once a long time ago. I just know that if the target has been corrupted once, their minds fold a bit easier than most. And Sirens… well, if they focus on their other powers instead of seduction, could actually be useful. Though the control thing could be right off, very few races have full immunities to allure, so having that would be wise.” He thought after that though.

Heather he had already met. She was a friend to Billie, but something about her seemed distant to her all the same. He didn’t know what it was, but he also knew that if she really had been a mermaid once then her mind would likely fold easier than others. Then he also had to find out who Piper was as well, but he still had time. At least his plan of action was coming into some sort of form.

--

Billie could only laugh at his response to her. “Thanks a bunch, hon, you’re great.” And she paused to laugh more, “And I would say to get it in writing but I don’t think either one of us would be able to read it ever again.” She was glad he decided not to get up right then and she just continued to lean against him, still annoyingly happy. But she couldn’t help it. Her whole year had been made and even if it had been awkward for like two minutes it had gone away.

Then as he talked about Drake, she nodded. “Sal is a sweetheart too. If you thought Clary could be innocent, he makes her look like a perv. Won’t even lie he’s so… innocent, but he is a good kid.” She said, and when she got her answers she sighed in relief. “Thank fucking Lucifer, I don’t know if I could have dealt with a petty vampire all year. I might have been hiding a body before long.” She was joking, but once he said he thought Darren wasn’t coming back she nodded.

“I prayed he wasn’t coming back. Because he gets on my nerves just big near him.” She said, and then when they both quieted again and Logan remembered the sweats, she smiled. Then she started laughing when he had trouble standing, and she wasn’t about to hide the fact that she found him thinking his legs were on backwards totally hilarious. Once she was thrown the sweats, she started stripping out of her clothes and waved her hand, watching them fold and place themselves in her bag.

“That shit was great. I still have that picture I took from when he found Darren. He hated me then for taking it, but it was too fucking great. Lucifer, am I glad he is coming back.” She said.

She giggled a bit as she got his shirt on and the had trouble with the pants. Though at the thought of Garret coming back, she was reminded that Darren would be well taken care of… and watched. Finally, she won the battle with the pants and stood up, pulling her hair up. “Alright, hon, I’m good.” She felt his eyes on her for a moment and at his comment, she shook her head before motioning to her chest. “I have boobs, babe, that alone makes clothes hotter on me.” She laughed a bit before she laid down beside him.

She closed her eyes for a minute before she rose her hand up. “Oh, by the way, don’t make plans for Saturday night. I’m throwing Garret a welcome back party, and I will drag you there if I have to. Just got to remember to tell everyone else.” She chuckled, and she turned on her side and looked at him before she yawned. “You know, Lo. I’m glad you’re rooming with Clary and all, but if I didn’t have Alex as a roommate, I would have had you move in with me.” She said, getting herself comfortable and laying her head on his chest. She yawned again, her eyes closing a bit more this time. “That way, whenever we needed each other, we wouldn’t need to look far.”

It wasn’t much longer before she was asleep, a smile on her face as she dreamed of what had happened.

Samantha didn't even notice the fact that Julian had looked at her at the mention of Samuel, she was to busy trying to keep her temper in check. Her eyes were focused on Aren, not on the fact that Julian had gotten up from his chair, and stood behind her. It wasn't until he spoke up about staying up with her and spilting the class with her, that she actually turned her head to look at him. "Yes, that sounds like it would work." She said her tone still harsh, her words coming out quickly.

Though the anger her felt wasn't meant towards him but at Aren not telling her that her scrumbag ex that almost ruined her life just to be a asshole, was out of his cage. She felt Julian's hands rubbing her shoulders as she voiced her anger, rather loudly, about not being told. But how dare he not tell her that he was out! The council had put her on trial. She had spent almost a whole year terrifed that she would pulled back infront of the council when they said she was innocent. Aren had even been there when they came to her door and pulled her out of her room, crying.

It wasn't a unusual thing for Samuel to be gone for periods of time, however it still threw her off sometimes. The two of them had only been dating for a year and though she sometimes traveled with him, she simply didn't even bother asking if he wanted her to go this time. After all this was kind of a big deal for her! Samuel had actually been a little bit of an ass for not wanting to stay with her and going off to do whatever the fuck he did instead of at least waiting until she had to leave for the year. She had waited for weeks before getting the news back that she was accepted for Coexistence teacher at the school she had attended when she was younger. She would never do anything to blow this chance. Yet he couldn't even push back his stuff for a little while?

Although the headmaster she had when she was going had stepped down and been replaced, she rather liked Aren. He was really relaxed and easy to talk to unlike most of the other teachers, he had helped her greatly, even with getting used to managing the races that she would have to for the job. After all there needed to be someone to help the races that didn't have a head teacher, though it made her want to pull her hair a little. It had only been a few months since she had started though so it had to get easier. Right?

It was around midnight as Samantha was finishing up grading the group assignments from her class, when a pounding knock came to her door and she checked her clock before shaking her head. It was rather late to be helping her students and she hated to simply turn them away but she was just to tried to give advice this late at night. Though when she opened the she was surprised to see Aren, another mage, and a Hell Knight at her door instead, and she gave Aren a confused look before the other mage spoke.

"Samantha Kane, you are being called before the council." The woman said her voice very formal and slightly unemotional.

Samantha blinked a little surprised by the news, she had never actually been pulled before the council before, but she couldn't think of what on earth she could have done wrong. "Okay." She answered slowly. "Do I have a moment I was in the middle of grading and..." Samantha said gesturing back towards her desk but was cut off mid question by the mage.

"No, we would rather you not Ms. Kane. You are here by under investigation." The mage said reaching forward to grab her arm, but Samantha pulled her arm away from the woman, a cup pushing itself off of her desk as her eyes narrowed at the mage.

"Do not grab me. Now I have not done anything wrong, nor would I. If I am under investigation I want to know what the hell you think I have done wrong!" She said angrily, she had been perfectly wiling to go before the woman actually had the nerve to try to man handle her and pull her out of her room.

"Do you know Samuel Flint, Ms Kane?" The mage asked her tone lowering but going from formal and emotionless to rude and annoyed.

"Yes. He is my boyfriend, though I haven't seen him in months." She answered her tone taking on the rudeness the mage had used towards her.

"Ms. Kane, Mr. Flint has been proven to be under the employment Azrael Sanders. He has accused you of not only working with him as well. But of using both Blood and Soul magics. You are being brought before the council for judgement and if proven guilty you well by stripped of your magical gifts." The mage said her tone still quiet though as she talked it turned from rude to almost symphonic. The look of both fear and surprise on Samantha's face said that it was not nearly what she had expected. "So if you please come with us."

Samantha didn't move for a moment as the words were so unbelievable that she didn't even feel as if she could move, as if this was a horrible dream. Why? Why would he accuse her of such things? She...she didn't even know how to do soul magic to began with, and she would never chance the possibility of driving herself crazy. This time when the woman grabbed her wrist Kane didn't even fight it her eyes tearing up as she tired to fight the urge to cry, and she looked to Aren and shook her head. "I didn't do it, he's lying." She said her voice trimbling, before looking at the mage walking her out. "He's lying. I don't even know how to do soul magic, I wouldn't drive myself crazy." She said actually crying as the demon opened the door for them. "I'm a good mage, I'd never do this." She said through tears as they pulled her out of the doors.

Samantha rolled her eyes frowning at the reason Aren had not told her. "I am perfectly able to do my job when anger Aren. I'm almost always a little angry, I had a right to know when you found out that he is no longer rotting in hell." She retorted with a angry huff, though her tone wasn't as harsh as it had been before. Damn Julian, and his wonderful shoulder rubs that had a way to calm her down whenever she was upset. If it didn't feel so good, it would piss her off almost. When he said something about Samual not being their biggest issue, Samantha let out a sigh and decided to let it drop. Sure he might not been the biggest issue but he was helping the biggest problem. So yes he was an issue and it pissed her the fuck off.

She nodded but didn't have a chance to say anything before in response to his approval of their ideas, DeAndro came into the room and she glanced at DeAndro before watching Arens reaction to the letter. She closed her eyes and shook her head at the news of the full blooded angel. Honestly she couldn't agree more with Julian, the demons wouldn't take kindly to this new arrival. It seemed in the angels attempt to level things out, in true full blooded angel fashion, they were fucking it up worse.

"For such an almighty race as angels are, you would think they would have enough respect of the annoyance this will cause. That they could send a letter with enough time for you to tell the students." She said after Aren told Harlow to come and see him durning sixth, a sigh coming out her lips after she spoke. Typical angels, missing everything up for what they believed was better. Hearing Julian's mumbles behind her, Samantha turned her head and gave him a soft look patting his hand. "If you need any help watching over them, I'm here. If nothing else you can stop by my class after school hours are over and vent.." She told him giving a reassuring smile, she knew how hard dealing with more than one race could be. It wasn't something Julian usually had to deal with.

"I'm assuming that as there are no angel teachers here, I will be advising them? The way my classes are taught do not need to be changed by this arrival, yes?" She said her fingers tapping in a pattern as she frowned thinking. Angels could be tricky if they weren't used to being away from heaven, not as easy to corrupt as merfolk but there was still a chance. "Is there any chance you can have the angel come see me before class? The last thing I want is be the reason someone gets corrupted."

Jordyn listened as Alex spoke about the reason that humans were useful after she had gotten upset. He had a good point. Almost every race hated humans and the ones that didn't, feed off of them. It didn't keep all the races from hating each other more than they did already. There were likely even times that blaming humans kept there for being more wars. Though still she didn't care for them, they hurt living things that couldn't stand up for themselves in the forest. The things that did stand up for themselves they ganged up on, with their weapons that shoot things into you. She had felt on much those things hurt.

However, she didn't want to talk about it anymore, and it seemed to be upsetting him. So she simply nodded her head and started talking about her assignment. Though he still seemed as though he was upset and it ate at her a little until she asked if it was her that did it. When Alex said it wasn't her, she smiled a little bit before he told her that it had been his thoughts that upset him. Giving him a soft look she let go of his hand and reached her hand up letting it rub softly down his arm. An attempt to comft him. It wasn't her strong suit when she didn't know the problem or couldn't fix it. And she wasn't about to try and ask him what it was if it upset him this bad.

Alex actually was a great help, the way he explained it was a lot easier to understand than the professor explained it. Surprisingly Jordyn knew a lot less and about hunters than Alex did. She knew that they were out there, and that they were all human. But truely she didn't know that they used weapons that effected non-humans, or how easily they picked up on small things that other races said. It was above her level of class last year. She even took her notes in Faelish to understand them better. Once her assignment was done, she smiled a little as Alex put an arm around her before nodding. "Alright." She said setting her notebook down before looking at him and smiling leaning against him.

"That sounds good to me, hmm let me think of what I want to ask first." She said before thinking for a little while, there was actually a bunch of questions she wanted to ask, but the real question was were to start? After a moment she looked back up at him and kind of grinned before pushing him back on the bed softly. "Alright I think I'll start with a easy one then." She said laying down beside him, if they were going to relax and talk, they might as well actually relax. Not to motion it was starting to kill her side sitting up without something behind her. "I know you're favorite drink from last night, and I'm guessing strawberries and s'more are your favorite kinds of food. But what else? Like your favorite type of music, number, season, and things like that?" She asked, and though it was a simple question, those kinds of things actually said something about a person.

Jackie couldn't help but smile a little bit when Darren said that he didn't want her to worry, though in truth, Darren wasn't the only one that needed to take care of his friends. There was reasons other then how pretty Logan looked on her arm to why she had been dating him. If he wanted to, he could likely take half of her group at least. He just was to stiupid to see it. Jackie shook her head a little. "I know sweety but you're a close friend, its kind of my job." She said smiling a little bit before they started talking about his demons. Jackie nodded her head, but rolled her eyes a little bit at the mention of Justin. "Yeah, I do wish he'd stop starting up flights though. I had better things to do that stepping in because I couldn't find fucking Logan."

Poor Darren not being liked just because he was proud of who his father was, it made her not like Harlow. He was always picking on Darren. She pursed her lips and shook her head. "Asshole." Jackie told a moment to think before speaking again. "I know that Logan and one of that fae girl's sisters got detention for that fight." She offered up before telling him that she would cancel any plans that she had tomorrow. The smile she got in response made her rather happy. She would cancel them too, she wasn't lying about it. Jackie always enjoyed being around Darren, it had nothing to do with blood or gifts.

Even before she took over her vampire group, she liked talking to him and hanging around him. He was amusing, and could keep a conversion better than half the people at this damn school. Not to mention he wasn't bad to look at. Even though it was for a moment, Jackie saw Darren's flash black at the mention of Garret. Jackie smiled a little at Darren's words before picking up her drink. "Either that or he has a crush on you. You never know, he hangs around with Logan's creepy ass ghost sister." She said before taking a drink. Making a mental note that she needed to bring her rum with her next time.

Darren's answer made her happy, it sounded like more fun to go out to hang out, even if it was just out by the lake. Last year they had to hang out in his room most of the year, because she didn't want to ruin his being under the rader. She was sort of a focus with the feud going on. "That sounds great." She said watching his shadow a little bit as it pulled a box out of his closet only to smile as he said he brought her back something. He was so sweet, how many times had she told him that he didn't have to get her birthday gifts? She was horrible at giving gifts.

Jackie laughed a little at his words about how easy it was to sucker humans in Mexico as she took the box found him before shaking her head. "Darren, you shouldn't have. You know how horrible I am at gifts." She said before opening it and seeing the Opal earrings, and she made a small noise before sitting the box down and moving quickly to give him a hug and kissing his cheek before moving back to her seat looking at the earrings again. "Their so beautiful. I love them, thank you sweetie." There was no way that she waiting until her birthday the beginning of the month to wear these. Hell she would put them on now if she thought it would match her outfit. That was okay though she would show them off tomorrow when she could show off her pretty new jewelry to everyone.

Molly smiled and nodded at his thanks and accepted her offer to have brakefast with her in the morning. He was kind of cute being all polite and not wanting to be rude. "Well being here to help you recruiters is part of my job. Plus I kind of like you, so you're welcome." She answered with a small smile. "Just don't tell the others, normally I'd say no before they finished asking." She added after thinking for a moment. She saw him looking up at the symbols above her as she pointed them out. That was one of the benefits of having Billie tutor her. Wards, peace spells, protection spells, luck spells, even one ward she had been taught by the council to protect against blood magic that was actually Elven.

Molly nodded her head to his response. "Well if it wakes you up usually touching me shoulder helps." She told him. Which oddly it was true, something about someone else being there seemed to calm her down enough to not whimper out when she had her nightmares. She laughed lightly when he said she was good at pushing buttons. "What can I say I like getting what I want. And anger is one of those things I like to....put to better uses." She said with a smirk. Not to mention she liked power and hadn't realized just how fun dragons or at least half dragons were. "Plus you kind of told me what button to push last night." She added in as she looked back to her homework.

Was it a bad thing that it was actually a relief that he couldn't be allured? Though it was mostly because Piper had stolen at least three of Molly's toys from her, and she didn't care to count with Heather. Molly was still listening to him as she finished up ALD and started her working on her history. This was one of the reasons she never did recruit. Other than their allure, and the fact they were a dark race she saw no use in the Sirens whatsoever. He was clearly better at it than she would have been. "Another thing you should know is that Piper wasn't corrupted the same way as Heather. I met her before she was, saw how it happened. Be careful how you approach her." She said as a after thought.

With a slight frown she pulled out her notebook and flipped through it before sighing and looking at him. "You're good at this history crap. What caused the second werewolf and vampire war? I don't have it in my notes."

--

Logan gave Billie a look of doubt when she said this Sal could make Clary seem like a perv. It was hard to imagine someone that innocent could be at the school in the first place yet stay that innocent while here. Though he guessed it could be possible. Still it had to take some strong morals to stay that way. "Not even going to lie, I'd have to see this guy with my own eyes to believe someone like that exists." He said with a small head shake, though it was true, he just didn't know if he could believe that.

He couldn't help but laugh at she response to his answer. "Well I'm not saying that it wouldn't be funny to watch. You trying to catch him to kill him. Though I'm pretty sure Zach could outrun even Storm." He answered back smiling a little bit. Now that would be a bet worth doing too. "Though yeah, you should be good. He isn't involved to the feud. Pretty sure he hates Devin almost as much as you hate Jackie."

Logan gave a small laugh as she said something about Darren getting on her nerves. "Whose doesn't he?" After all Darren was the demon that even the demons hated, he was in a lot of ways the demons version of Devin. If it wasn't his way of spinning words he likely wouldn't have ever been leader of the group in the first place. Even the vampires used to get cold chills when they used to have to deal with them....well most of them anyway. After a moment of silence between the two of them he remembered the sweats and tried to get up and walk to the dresser. Almost failing horribly, with Billie laughing her ass off at him. Logan sticking a tongue out at her as he throw the clothes to her.

He laughed a little remembering how pissed Garret had gotten about that picture. "I think it was more because the flash made him do the glitchy thing he does. Even though he is really pissed, well he does that its hard not to laugh." Logan said laughing a little bit at the thought and memory of that night, Alex had to pull Garret off before he killed Darren. With a small sigh he nodded his head. "I know it will be great with him back. Its been a little less assholeish without him here to help piss people off."

Hearing her giggling behind him, Logan couldn't help but grin, as he stopped himself from looking back to see what she was doing back there. When she gave the okay he turned and looked, before making a comment about good she looked. As she motioned to her chest, his eyes lingered on her chest for a few moments from his place on the bed. "That is very true, your boobs can make anything look hotter." He answered with a smirk, before she laid down beside him. Logan let out a relaxed sigh closing his eyes, before he opened them again quickly, looking at her as she spoke. He chuckled a little nodding his head. "Okay, no reason to drag me, I'll be sure to come. If you want me to invite anyone let me know in the morning." He answered, because he had no doubt that if Billie didn't drag him, Clary would by his ear, through the walls.

When Billie rolled on her side he looked at her as Billie said that she would have talked him into being her roommate if Alex wasn't. He gave a soft smile as she kept talking laying her head on his chest. Being roommates with Billie? That didn't sound like it would have been that bad really. The thought of being there when she needed him and vise visa sounded really nice too. "Well if Alex ever moved out, you know where to find me." He said closing his eyes as he wrapped his arm around her. He laid there listening to her calm breath and heartbeat, as her body warmth heating him, he started falling asleep as well.

Aren was only becoming slightly annoyed with Samantha's anger. Of course, it was well placed considering the circumstances, but all at once he also knew that having her teach angry would have been about as smart as lighting a match near gasoline. Though the potential for nothing to go wrong was there, it screamed otherwise. With a sigh, he simply rubbed the bridge of his nose and watched as Julian continued to rub her shoulders. Even Aren could tell that Julian was angry with the whole ordeal, but DeAndro's distraction had Harlow's eyes darkening. They weren't black yet, but something told Aren that this angel business was going to be more of a headache than anyone would want.

"Leave it to the giant dicks upstairs to put their nose in where it doesn't belong." Julian huffed under his breath. He knew full well that one of the angel students was being sent down to keep an eye on things, but he also saw potential problems with his students. As much as the commandments of hell were enforced here, there were some that walked the line a little too finely. "May I just make one suggestion and give the angel a room of their own, off from the main demon hall. I.E. away from Justin Henderson. That boy was lucky with what happened last year."

Aren scoffed a chuckle. "He was lucky he was beat within an inch of his life?"

"I would have had to throw a student in a cage. Do you really think we need another Daylen?" Julian hissed, but soon Aren looked to Samantha.

"Yes. I hope you don't mind it too much, I know that it's a rough rag-tag group to wrangle, but I believe our late arrival won't be too much trouble. This one tomorrow, I recognize the name from somewhere but I don't know where. And it shouldn't change your teaching methods." Aren said, sitting, rubbing the bridge of his nose again. "Miles Hughes." he muttered to himself looking at the note. Why was that name so familiar?

Julian sighed a little and looked to Samantha before he looked back to Aren. "Anything else?" he asked.

Aren looked up briefly but shook his head. "If I hear anything else, I'll be sure to inform you in a timely manner." he said, and Julian removed his hands from Samantha's shoulder's slowly and sighed.

Julian let out a sigh of his own before looking back to Samantha as he opened the door. "I don't know about you, but I could use a drink now. And obviously I have to get some lesson plans together as well."

--

Alex was glad once they steered away from school work and started talking about... well anything other than it seemed like and when Jordyn started asking questions he couldn't help but to allow a certain thoughtful look to cross his face. "I don't particularly have a favorite number, but my favorite season is winter, only because the cold is good for me. Plus, snow isn't too bad either. As for music, you might find this extremely odd, but I enjoy classical. Something about it is eerily calming. And I like the color blue." he said, and he smiled to her before asking. "What about you? Favorite season, drink, food, number, color?"

He chuckled a bit, "Don't kill me for the color question, please. I've managed to get things thrown at me for that."

He was feeling better and he looked over to Blaze who was relaxing on the floor, looking at the plants covering the other half of the room with extreme intent. Now Alex could see why Billie had always said Blaze was his hound, even if she was with her. They had the same fascination for natural things and how they worked.

His mind was becoming less heavy the more he and Jo talked, he really preferred not to have nightmares about his young life, especially at school. He wasn't proud of a lot of the things he had done. A lot of things he saw humans doing to one another now. Honestly, Alex couldn't fully hate a human anymore without hating himself. Because their nature, oddly enough, was the same in and out of war... Demons had that same issue. Alex hated to admit it, but his time in war had not been proud for him.

He never talked about it, and Lucifer had often told him that it was probably where the fear of becoming like his father rooted from. Because Alex had done awful things in war... Things he couldn't wish upon anyone now, but he had also known that his bloodline was capable of worse... The Sanders bloodline had the downfall of anger and their attraction to power. Luckily, Alex only dealt with the anger, but still, he couldn't help but to wonder what it would have been like if he had been power hungry too.

It caused a question to come to mind and he looked at Jo. "I know this may come off as an odd question, but what is your biggest fear?" he asked. "You don't have to answer, but it would be nice to know so that if it's something I can help I don't scare you."

--

Darren gave a nod to her answer before nodding. "I do apologize for that, but I don't think he was the only one stirring the pot. I mean, he's good at what he does, but not that good. There's been someone else either rooting for me or just loves chaos enough to start fights like that. I mean hell that one last year where Harlow, Aren, Ravenswood, and Kane stepping in... That wasn't Justin. He straight told me that." he said before leaning back and taking another drink.

Darren smirked a little. "Well, so long as others aren't in there I shouldn't be too bad off. I keep to myself now mostly anyway. Aside from those who are worth the time." he said, offering a small grin towards her. He couldn't help the laugh that left him when she brought up why Garret was so obsessed with him, and he shook his head. "Oddly enough that creeps me out more. But it is true. He does hang around that little creepy girl." he rolled his eyes. He remembered having fought Garret for messing with her a couple years ago, but still, he had let Garret get the up on him. Not like there was any reason to fight over a girl who wasn't worth it... Clearly.

Darren was pleased to know she was happy with his decision. He hated being couped up in the castle for extended periods of time and would much rather be outside anyway. Plus, it was too early in the year, even now, for people to go to the lake regularly anyway. No chance in them having to run and hide to keep things level. He smiled a bit at her reaction to her present though and he spoke, "Still, you might be bad at it, I'm not. I don't mind spoiling good friends." he said before taking another drink.

At least tonight had turned out good.

Adrian leaned back and nodded a bit. He was glad he had some help here. Out in the world was far easier than here at a school, but this place had it's advantages far more counted than disadvantages... And he would never admit to Azrael, but he hated the assignment to the school. If he actually needed help to control his anger and stuff, then he'd figure it out himself. Not enroll into some lame ass school. Still, as Molly spoke, he couldn't help the chuckle. "I suppose I did give you some fuel, but hey, not always a bad thing to give that away is it?" he asked more rhetorically than not.

He sat there and thought through his plan for the Sirens. They would be, quite possibly, one of the best things they could have at the moment. Their allure would help him immediately and he knew that for a fact. Honestly, who could resist the allure of a siren if they didn't have natural resistance to it. Now, from there he'd look into what demons were straying from the pack. He already knew of one he would need to approach, but that one could wait for a little while. He turned his head to Molly when she spoke of Piper and he nodded. "Thanks for the tip."

When she asked about history he nodded. "Trade. The vampires and werewolves, at the time, had been at a truce for trading purposes. The werewolves 'shorted' the vampires on a shipment of blood, said they didn't. And there you go, war started. Well, to put it simply anyway. Far better than the third wars... That was a stupid reason entirely." What could Adrian say? History enthralled him.

Billie's laugh was something that this game had found regularly, but Drake sighed a bit when he realized that Sal had passed out and now it was just the two of them playing truth or dare. They'd had a pretty intense study session and Sal had been complaining about his eyes hurting the entire time, so it was no shock he conked out early. Still, Drake looked at Billie as he took his seat back, her laugh still echoing in his ears. "That just wasn't right, B." he found himself chuckling and she bit her lip a little.

"Hey, your idea, you can deal with the consequences." she pointed at him a bit before leaning back in the chair, looking over at the clock. 12:30AM. "One more and I should probably go."

"Alright, truth or dare?" Drake asked, and she thought for a moment.

"You know what, fuck it/ truth. You only live once right?" she said, and Drake nodded a bit before it dawned on him what she had said. Billie Sanders had actually picked truth? Well that was perfect.

"Alright then, do you mind if it's a two part question then?" he asked. She shook her head.

"Nah, I don't pick truth often, and you've got me interested now because you asked that pretty quick." she said, and he nodded before figuring out how to word it.

"Why in the hell are you dating Devin? I mean, honestly, you could have anyone you could ever want and you choose that pathetic excuse of a parasite. Tell me there is more to it than I am understanding because let's be real, that's not you." he asked, and Billie looked away. It was the first time he'd ever seen her hesitate to answer anything before and he saw her take a swig from her bottle of whiskey before she sighed.

"That's a damn good question, Drake." She said, "One I was hoping never came up, and you won't let me back out of this..." she began before taking another drink. "To be completely honest, I don't even like him; much less would I have ever actually dated him if he didn't pick the perfect time to ask me out. And the whole reason is, I thought it'd make Logan the most jealous."

Drake rose an eyebrow waiting for further explanation before it sank in fully. She wanted to make Logan jealous?

Billie continued before part two question came, obviously seeing his look. "Devin has asked me out so many times, and I said no every time, but this last time I just couldn't... I saw opportunity and I went with it. And I kind of regret it now, but let's be honest, the ruse is worth it... I suppose."

"Now, part two, even though not what I was originally going to ask, but why do you want to make Logan jealous?" he asked. She sighed once again and got up from her chair, pacing a bit.

"Isn't it obvious?" she answered, and when he gave her the look she spoke again. "I'm in love with him, Drake. Absolutely, undeniably in love with him. And I can't fucking help it, and it pisses me off that I can't just turn it off, or make it go away because we're best friends. And right when I worked up the courage to actually tell him because, you know, I don't do the whole bearing your soul thing very well, I get a 'oh, hey, I want you to meet Heather, my new girlfriend.' So I just kind of was like, oh cool and never went through with it. As much as I want him to be happy with me, if he wants to be happy with someone else, who am I to take that from him?"

Drake gave a nod. "Why didn't you tell him anyway, though? I mean, if you feel that strongly..."

"This can't leave this room, Drake. Before you even think of trying anything else with this. It's bad enough rumors are going around, and I really don't need this rearing its head too. No one can ever know about this. When the time's right it will happen, but now it's just wrong." she said.

"So, if he wouldn't have had Heather, you would have told him?" he asked and she nodded.

"Of course I would have. I've been in love with him probably since I met him and was just too stupid to realize it at first. That and my history of being 'in love' isn't all that great. But I can trust him, you know? Not like the other times where there was always doubt. He's always there for me when I need him, and I try to always be there for him when he needs me... But I was just... I was vulnerable." she said, and Drake nodded.

"Come on, B. I'll leave it alone; your secret is safe with me. But if I notice it getting to the point again where you do something as insanely stupid as dating a pathetic lowlife, I'm going to step in and make you say something." he said and she nodded.

"Works for me. I may need that kick in the ass one day." she chuckled. She noticed Drake getting up as she went towards the door. "You don't have to walk me back. I can make it just fine."

Drake gave a look. "No, no. I'm walking you back. Besides, it's not far and Sal will be okay for a few minutes without me."

Samantha listened to Aren and Julian talk back and forth, actually the idea of the angel of this angel having his own room away from Justin Henderson was a good idea. She nodded slightly even before the subject of what happened last year with the little fallen angel was brought up. Followed up with the subject of Daylen, and she couldn't help but frown a little at that one. That whole thing was a mid, the things he did, his little girlfriend trying to kill herself, one of the other demons being kicked out for a year. "I agree he should have his own room. Or at least until the angel gets here." She said agreeing with Julian.

Samantha shook her hear a little as he said he hoped she wouldn't mind being his counselor. It was a rag-tag group that she had to watch over but honestly it was something that she was used to. Plus who else could do it? Julian? Something about this whole meeting screamed otherwise, but she could unstand. "No, I don't mind at all. It's part of my job after all." She said offering Aren a tense smile. "And as long as it doesn't interrupt my lesson plan it shouldn't be to much work." When Aren said that they were done here Samantha nodded her head at Julian's invitation to go and get a drink.

Jordyn couldn't help but smile at Alex's answered to her questions. Especially when he added in his favorite color. She had purposely left that out of her questions as she now knew that he was colorblind. However, it was very nice to know he had a favorite one. "Oddly I'm not surprised with the music after dancing with you." Then she couldn't help but laugh. "People have thrown things for asking their favorite color?"

A thoughtful look crossed her face as he asked hers, and she looked up at the ceiling thinking. "Well, I don't drink alcohol very much so if you count that the ones with tomato juice." She sis before looking at him thinking. "Blooded Mary? Anyway, normal drink would be peppermint tea. Believe it or not though my favorite season is also winter, don't get me wrong I love the plants and animals. But its just so...quiet, everything is asleep. My favorite food is pizza, I don't understand why its so freaking good! I swear, if it wasn't bad for me I'd live off that crap." She said with a small laugh. "I don't have a favorite number either but thirteen is my lucky number. And my favorite color is yellow, which is why my dust is that color." Jordyn clicked her tongue for a moment know she was forget something.

"Oh and I oddly like rap music. Mainly because none of it makes sense so I Ind it really funny. Though classical is relaxing."Jordyn smiled a little bit as she relaxed beside him, he seemed to be feeling better, or at least he was more relaxed. Which she was happy about, having noticed he had been really tense since gym either. Though she wasn't quite sure if it was some kind of after effect of his almost shifting or just annoyance of what had happened. Either way, it didn't matter, she was just glad he was relaxing.

Alex's question was a little bit of surprise to her however, not because it bothered her truely in anyway. But because it was oddly a deep question which she hadn't seen coming. She couldn't help but raise n eyebrow staring up at the ceiling still. Though her face turned to a more thinking look for a moment before she sighed. " My greatest fear is fire, and everyone I know and love burning to death." She answered quietly her voice tipping a bit towards a darker and sadder tone before she looked at him. "When I was...eight by your terms, there was this large forest fire that I and a few of my clan got caught in. Tiffany's mother saved me but she got burnt to badly for my mother to heal her, and she died." Feeling her eyes water a little bit she looked back up at the ceiling a hand running through her hair before wiping her eyes a little. "I've been afraid of fire ever since." There was more then one reason she hated fire, but this was the main reason even normal controlled fire scared her so badly.

After a moment she rolled on her side and put a hand to Alex's cheek. "Though I have seen your for and I have seen you mad, even if it gets worse the angier you are." She started before giving a small shrug. "You don't scare me. If anything like I said you're really pretty all blue and fireworky." Jordyn let her hand rest there for moment before sighing and moving it. "So then, what is you're biggest fear? So I know I won't do anything to scare you either."

Jordyn could see Blaze looking at her vines from the corner of her eye and shifted her fingers slightly before watching a flower start to grow and blossom. Opening up into a deep blue Clematis close to Blaze so that she could sniff it if she wanted to a small smile actually coming back to her face for a moment. "If you could change and be anything that you wanted. Animal, object of nature, or race. What would you want to be?" She said still watching Blaze before looking at Alex.

Jackie gave a slight look to Darren before sighing a little bit and nodding, if he truely believed that Justin wasn't the only one starting the fights then she didn't doubt it. Too much. "Well I don't know who it was than, hell could have been one of mine I suppose for that matter." She said before giving a shrug. "That really was a bad one though, Glen got kicked out for trying to kill someone for that one." She added shaking her head taking a sip of her drink, it sucked a little because he was one of her most loyal followers.

Jackie nodded her head a little. "Well that's all that I know of anyway." She couldn't help but laugh a bit at his reaction to her suggestion. "I honestly don't blame you." Her lips pursed in thought for a moment her eyes flashing yellow for a moment in her train of thought. "I kind of want to get that little ghost bitch. She embarrassed me last night." She clicked her tongue against her teeth thinking of how Clary embarrassed her in front of everyone at the fire. "Plus she snuck into my room after and....well she's lucky she can go through fucking doors." She finished before taking a sip of her drink as her eyes fade back to normal.

She couldn't help but be excited for tomorrow night, and she fully planed to wear her birthday present. Jackie smiled at him, now if only he stopped saying that he spoiled all his friends and that he just spoiled her. It would be perfect, though she wasn't going to say that part. "Well, maybe next year you just tell me ahead of time what to get you and it might actually be a good present." She said with a smile laugh. She glaced down at her watch a frowned a bit, it was starting to get late. However, she didn't want to go back to her dorm, it was quiet and empty. She had such a horrible day and now she would have to be by herself. Jackie ran a hand through her hair dreading leaving, before a idea popped in her head.

She looked at Darren and bit her lip a bit. "Hey Darren, I hate to ask but...do think I could maybe crash here tonight?" Jackie asked her tone a little quieter and more withdrawn. She tired to never ask to crash with him, both because she knew he wanted to keep a low profile, and because he had said before he didn't even like his booty calls staying the night. "I wouldn't ask but I've never actually had the dorm to myself and kind of don't want to be alone. Devin is still likely in the infirmary and my other "friend" doesn't let people stay with her overnight. I'll leave early in the morning so no one sees me leave." She added quickly.

---

Molly smiled a little bit at Adrian's shrugging her shoulders a little. She supposed that it wasn't always a bad thing, knowing how to get him all hot and bothered wasn't a bad thing in her eyes. But she wasn't sure it was always a good thing. "Hmm I supposed but I'm not going to let you figure mine out so easily." She said smiling a little bit bigger at him. "I find it amusing making people figure me out, and maybe watching them fail a little bit." She said before looking back at her work. When he thanked her for the tip with Piper, she nodded a little.

Molly pulled out a orange pen and started writing what Adrian answered in her notes book, before looking up at him. "You really get into this whole history thing don't you? Alright I know we aren't on it yet. But what was the third war about?" She asked him, it was kind of cute in a way. He was a little dorky behind the hot badass outside. "To bad you aren't TAing, might actually keep mine attention." She added though it was more to herself as she finished up her history homework before stretching and soft yawn coming from her lips.

Molly gathered her books off of her bed. "Alright, I'm done for now. I can just do Realms and CoESC tomorrow on my free period." She said before smiling and patting the bed beside her a little bit. "If you're ready, I'm tired." She added before setting her books off of the bed and crawling up to the top of her bed, waiting for him before turning off the light.

Alex couldn’t help the thoughtful expression that came over his face as Jordyn explained her fear to him. It was a very logical fear, and he could understand it completely. Though, he did suddenly feel a rush of worry fly over him. He was a being of fire, no matter how controlled he could be normal… if he ever got angry enough…

He looked to her as she continued though and he gave a gentle smile. It was as if she could hear his insecurity, and he gave a light chuckle at her description of how he looked when he started losing it. “Really glad that I don’t scare you, and again glad you find it so pretty.” He said, and he placed a kiss to the side of her temple before she asked him.

His eyes looked down first before his head followed the motion. He gave a gentle sigh, “It’s nothing you’d ever have to worry about. My fears, two are tied pretty equally, are things that are kind of weird…” he admitted before he looked back to her. “First, I’m afraid of becoming anything like my father. He’s what’s driven me to make so many choices. After I saw him try and kill Billie, shit she was barely fifty, and I got back from getting my new orders to find him trying to kill her. It drove me to hate him… he wasn’t always bad, but watching him corrupt as badly as he did… it’s always scared me that I could be like that too.” He said.

He shook his head a bit before going on. “The second, well, I’ve been in war before… done some things that I’m not proud of. I went AWOL to bring Billie to earth to protect her and it was probably the best decision I’ve ever made. Anyway, I’m afraid of things I’ve done in war being used against the people I care about most.” He admitted before he took hold of her hand, gently. He looked over to Blaze and watched as she seemed amazed at the plant before her. She sniffed it, carefully, before sitting up and examining it more thoroughly.

Her next question made him smile though. “To be completely honest, I’d want to be a bird. They seem so free and they can just go wherever the wind takes them. Seems like a nice kind of life to live.” He chuckled a bit. “What about you?”

As the evening went on, Alex was extremely glad that he had decided to spend this time with Jo. It was a nice change of pace compared to the rest of the day. He looked at the clock, noting it was getting rather late. He was still weak, tired, and just wanted to sleep, but he couldn’t stay. Not having Blaze with the pups still here for their visit. Finally at about 11, he gave Jo a gentle kiss and gathered up his things. “I’ve had a lot of fun tonight, thanks. But it’s getting late and Blaze, I’m sure, is getting anxious to get back to her pups.”

He watched as Blaze lifted herself from the floor and took his side, and he patted her head. “Good night, Jo. I’ll see you in the morning.” He said, and with that he left.

--

Darren watched Jackie as she talked about wanting to get the little ghost girl for embarrassing her. He had to admit, it sounded like quite a first night for Jackie. Hell, even today was one that’d go down in the books for most interesting first day he’d witnessed. An almost fight, an actual fight, and all the other drama he hadn’t been subjected to but had heard about. “Say the word, you know I’ll help you out somehow if you need it.” He told her before he took another drink from his glass. He noticed Jackie looking to the clock, which caused him to do the same thing.

Was it really already that late? He thought, and Jackie’s next question caused him to pause a moment. Before he could answer her, she said she’d be out early, she just didn’t want to be alone tonight. He couldn’t blame her either. He didn’t particularly like the aloneness either, but if it kept him low key he’d deal with it. “Sure.” He said, realizing she was still waiting on his answer. “Besides, you’re special and I actually quite enjoy your company.” He said.

He moved from his chair and opened his dresser drawer, pulling out a large t-shirt and a pair of his pajama pants and handed them to her. “Here, since I don’t figure sleeping in what you’re currently wearing would be too comfortable.”

Eh, what could he say, she was a friend. A very hot friend… one who didn’t need to be sleeping with Devin, but who was he to judge? He watched as she went into the bathroom and he changed into his own pajamas before sitting back down and drinking some more. At least being alone wasn’t something he’d have to deal with this year.

--

Adrian couldn’t help but chuckle at Molly’s comment. “I guess because I’m still new I’m not allowed to TA or some bullshit, I don’t know. But yeah, history is kinda my thing.” He said. He didn’t like admitting it all the time, but history did hold valuable lessons, if people would pay attention enough to catch it. “History of war is by far the most interesting and I’m glad we’re starting with it.”

His mind needed a rest from this recruiting business. It would come in time, at least that was what he had to remind himself of, and when she asked about the third wars he just shook his head. “A girl. Kinda like in human history, the legend of Troy…. Essentially what happened, but instead of one burning they joined together because the hunters came in and began hunting both. It forced the two to ally, and even though things are still rocky, they are in forced peace still. Nothing like the angels and demons… that’s still a huge mess.”

Once Molly said she was ready, Adrian headed over and laid down next to her. He couldn’t say he minded it too much, but it was an adjustment. He hadn’t slept next to another person in years and it was a bit of a welcomed change, even he couldn’t deny it. He gently put his arm around her middle and fell asleep not long after lying down.

--

“Billie…. Logan… guys.” A soft voice came through Billie’s mind as she slowly opened her eyes. She blinked a little bit, her eyes adjusting to the light of the room as she sat up. She looked down to see Logan right there beside her and then turned her head to see Clary. She rubbed her eye a bit and ran a hand through her hair.

“Clary, what is it?” she asked, clearing her throat a bit.

“We have like 45 minutes until classes start, and Harlow would kill you if you were late, B. I figured you’d have been up by now.” Clary said. The words immediately registered in Billie’s mind and she practically tripped with how fast she got out of Logan’s bed.

“Shit, shit, shit, shit.” She muttered as she pretty well threw off Logan’s sweatpants and jumped into her jeans from the night before. She flung his shirt off as well and managed to tug her own back on. “Fuck!” she hissed, and she looked in her bag before looking to Logan and then Clary. “Clary, if I’m not in the classroom by like five til, come find me.” She said, and Clary nodded and watched as Billie practically flew out the door.

She had her bag on her shoulder and as she rushed herself down the hall towards her room, she noted Jackie was coming down the same hallway in the opposite direction. She so did not have time for this, but it didn’t stop the glare that she had sent Enderman. Billie just kept on going down the hall, and she got to her shared bedroom to find Alex already dressed for class and putting his books together.

“Hey, B. You’re running late.” He commented off handed, and Billie gave a nod as she waved her hand and watched as her things in her bag tucked themselves away as she headed towards the bathroom.

“I overslept. And yeah, Harlow will kill me if I’m late.” She said, and Alex watched as she began washing her face, and he grabbed her uniform for her. She closed the bathroom door, and he sighed, leaning against it.

“Well, while you’re rushing, you got a minute to talk, right?” he asked through the door.

“Yeah, sure. What’s up?” she asked, and Alex sighed.

“I’m sure you know that things between the vampires and the Unseelie are about to get… well… interesting.” He said, nearly falling as she opened the door. Alex saw she went back to the mirror and began putting on her make-up.

“Yes, and your point?” she said, and he sighed.

“Say if they were to come to you and want to ally, would you?” he asked and he was fixed with a look. “Fine. I have a feeling that the Unseelie leader, which is Jo’s sister by the way, will realize just how outnumbered they are. If she does come ask for demon help, would you say yes?”

Billie stopped and sighed. “Alex, I understand your concern, but is that really a move you want the repercussions of? You know if the Unseelie allied with the demons that yes, it’s a smart move on both of our parts yes, but I still will not okay unwarranted violence.” She said and he nodded.

“I’ll take them. Jo is just worried because I guess whatever her sister did was a sign of saying it’s on.” He said, and Billie gave him a look as she finished up her make up and began doing her hair.

“Well, yeah. Unseelie signs of war aren’t something were used to, but that was definitely one. Whether or not the vampires realized it is one thing, but I did. I knew, but if it means so much to you, if she talks to me I’ll give it a chance. Alright?” she said, and Alex nodded before he looked at Billie and then the clock.

“Thanks, Billie, but I got to go. Going to meet up with Jo.” He said. “And you might want to hurry, you’ve got like ten minutes until class starts.”

“Fuck!” Billie hissed as she watched Alex chuckle his way out of their door. She frantically threw her things in her bag and headed towards Harlow’s classroom.

--

Cole let out a long stream of smoke as she headed down the hall towards Clary’s room. Morning Glory, plus going to meet up with a new friend was a good combination. Cole heard her feet across the floor, but she didn’t care, not even as she walked past Enderman in their hallway. She wasn’t going to let anything get in on her good vibe today.

She got to the door a few minutes later and gave a gentle knock on the door and she saw Clary open it. Cole came in and noticed a rather frantically getting ready Logan and chuckled a bit. Clary was putting his books together for him and Cole walked over to Logan and placed her hands on his shoulders. “Take a chill pill, Mr. Vampy Pants.” She said. “Class don’t start for another half an hour. Relax, chill…”

Clary looked over to Cole and Logan and raised a brow as Cole dug in her bag. “Man bro, your vibes are killing me.” She said, and Clary just sat down and lit a joint before handing it to Logan. “Hit this man, it’ll make you feel better.”

Clary looked at the joint and covered her mouth. She couldn’t remember what Cole had called it, but she knew Drake had said it gave him a high that lasted hours on just two hits. Oh god, Cole was trying to get her brother high! I mean, she couldn’t say she could blame her, Logan did need to chill out, but she wasn’t sure if getting him high would help.

--

Harlow sat in his empty classroom early that morning, a cup of coffee mixed with whiskey sitting on his desk. He wasn’t normally into drinking this early, but with the way today was going to go, he had a feeling he’d need it. He looked over the lesson plans he had laid out for Billie and then looked to the blank blackboard. At least he knew that today would be easy enough until his sixth hour class. He looked at his watch, seven minutes until class and Billie came practically running into the room. She looked at her own watch and seemed proud of herself.

“Good morning, Billie.” He greeted and Billie set her things down before she nodded to him.

“Morning Professor.” She said, and Harlow let out a sigh.

“Billie, I hate to ask, but I need a favor from you today.” He said, and Billie looked at him as she took a page from him and began writing on the blackboard. He continued, “I have a meeting with Aren sixth period. I know it is your only actual free period in the day, but would you mind teaching the lesson for me?”

Billie gave him a look and nodded slowly. “Sure? Something wrong?” she asked.

Harlow shook his head. “Not really, just have a potentially problematic new student coming today.” He said and she nodded, going back to the blackboard as the first few students began filtering in.

Jo listened to Alex as he told her, his fears, and she wished there was some way that she could help him with his fears. She hadn't known him that long, she couldn't tell him how he was nothing like his father, she didn't even know his father. Other than the name of course, and that he was a bad guy. His second fear made a lot of sense, the fear of a loved one getting hurt, it was something she knew well. She felt him take her hand and squeeze it and she looked at him, a gentle smile on her face.

"You know, I might not know you a lot, but I don't think bad people or people who can turn bad worry about going bad Alex." She said trying to make him feel better. She smiled a little bit as she watched Blaze sniffing the flower that she grew in front of her, it was totally harmless and it actually made her happy just to see how much she was amazed by it.

Alex's answer to her question made her smile and she looked at him. "Oh..that's a good answer." She said with a small laugh before thinking for a moment. "I'd want to be a wolf. Not a werewolf, cause their assholes, but an actual wolf. They just are so pretty, and they stick together you know. I mean sure there is a lot of fighting, but there is always a place in the pack, you're never alone and you know everywolf there. There's a level of acceptance." She answered finally before nodded to herself, yes that sounded like a good answer to her.

Jo was really enjoying the time she was spending with Alex, he was surprising easy to talk to. He even seemed to understand what she was talking about when it got to something she didn't understand. She almost didn't want him to leave, and stay the night when he gave her a kiss before he gathered up his stuff. However, he was right and he couldn't keep Blaze from her pups because of her. She reached down and scratched Blaze's ear. "Okay, good night. See you in the morning." She said with a smile before looking down at Blaze. "Good night girl, thanks for visiting." After Alex and Blaze left her room she stayed up a few more hours to finish up her homework, before crawling into bed around one.

Jo stretched a little bit as she rolled over and smiled before looking at her clock. Crap! She meant to set her alarm and completely forgot, she hadn't over slept by that much, she still had an hour before class. She got out of bed quickly and started to grab her clothes as the door opened and Amber's head peeked in a little bit. "You're fine Amber, Alex didn't stay the night."

Amber came in the rest of the way and looked at Jo. "Then why do you look like shit?" She asked and Jo gave her a dirty look.

"Because I forgot to set my alarm. Because you took the first period off." She shoot back at Amber as she went into the bathroom to take a shower. She had enough time to get dressed, put on the little bit make up she usually wore, and start putting her books together before there was a knock at the door and she saw Amber go over to answer it.

Amber grinned a little as she opened the door a little ways and saw Jo's new pet. "Oh hello there, black eyes." She said and when he asked for Jo she rolled her eyes a little opening the door the rest of the way. "Jojo, your hell pet is here." She said as she walked over to her messy side of the room.

Jo frowned a little watching Amber head to her side, her eyes narrowing at Amber for a second before she looked at Alex. "Hey sorry I'm running little late." She said though it was likely easily gathered from the fact her hair had yet to be brushed and the uniform's tie hang lose and untied around her neck.

"Um duh! You still look like shit."

"Shut up Amber, you're starting to piss me off." Jo said glancing at her before flicking her hand and the plant by her door grew to where it was blocking off that side of the room again. She smiled a little bit before walking over and giving Alex a kiss. "I just gotta brush my hair and...can you tie one of these things? Cause I had Willow tie it for me before we got here, but it came untied and I have no freaking clue." She said wiggling the ends of the tie as she spoke.

As Alex helped tie her tie she smiled up at him a little bit. "So I did something for you last night, before you came over." Her eyes sparkling yellow a little as she spoke. "Its a surprise, but you'll hopefully see it before he figures out how get rid of it."

Jackie really appreciated Darren letting her stay the night with him instead of having to go back to her empty dorm. Not to mention she always enjoyed hearing that she was special. Once she changed into the T-shirt and pajama pants he let her borrow, she sat up drinking and talking with him for awhile longer before going to sleep. She really liked staying the night with him actually, she felt so much safer to be staying with him than she likely would have been staying with Devin.

Jackie awoke to her watch alarm going off, and she rolled over and clicked it off and glanced over to the other bed to see if it had woken Darren up. Glad that it at least didn't seem to, she grabbed her dress from the bathroom and her purse making sure her new earrings and blood was in it. Before putting a note on his desk, and heading out.

"Thanks for letting me stay over, can't wait for tonight.
XOXO
Jackie

As she made her way to her dorm she saw Billie heading up the hallway she was walking down and she rolled her eyes a little. It was to early for this bitch already today, and as they passed eachother she supply glared back with only a small growl but kept going as well. As she got in her dorm and checked the time she frowned. She could either take a shower or use her speed and get ready giving her a little bit to speed through her homework for second period at least. Choosing the latter, Jackie quickly got dressed taking a second to admire her new earrings, before doing what of her homework she could. She would finish during BL, and she'd wash Darren's clothes before she brought them back to him.

She smiled to herself as she locked her dorm door, other hand playing with her earring, when she felt someone grab her arm. Jackie frowned pulling her arm away from Devin who had a pissed look on his face, a beanie hat pulled low. "I've told you Devin, I don't like being grabbed." She growled and watched Devin for a moment before she started walking off.

"Sorry Jackie, but one of those fucking demons broke into my room while I was in the infirmary."

Jackie rolled her eyes. "I'm not in the mood for a fight today, Devin. Besides how would you know, your room is a dump." He searched out and grabbed her again, only to let go as Jackie growled at him.

"Look what they fucking did!" He said pulling his hat off to show bright neon blue hair and a symbol of the same color on his forehead. Because his words had been so loud Jackie hadn't been the only one that looked. Jackie along with a few passing by students laughed too.

Jackie had to close her eyes as she doubled over laughing, she didn't understand a lot of Faelish, but she understood what it meant. "That's not demon Devin, its Faelish." She managed to get out before looking up and laughing again and whispered in his ear what it meant.

"That's not fucking true!" He yelled eyes going red as Jackie started laughing and walked into the classroom. Devin pulled his hat back on and walked angrily into the room after her.

Molly sighed softly as she woke, she had been sleeping cuddled in a pair on warm arms, face nuzzled up in his shirt. He smelt so good actually, if only she could remember who it was now. She stretched a moment before pulling away from the person she was cuddled too. For a moment, a split second, she thought it would be Daylen. She shook her head though, and looked at who it was. She stared at him for a moment before it came back to her, a dark blush on her cheeks as she remembered not only letting him stay but sleeping with him before that.

It wasn't so much that she didn't remember or had nothing to do with it, she had been there. It was just....fuzzy. Like a dark cloud was blocking her view, changing her thoughts at the last moment to something darker or careless, and that was what she followed when she wasn't her normal self. She moved away from Adrian and sat on the edge of her bed, a hand running through her hair. It was a lot easier to deal with this outside of school, just sleep with a guy and when the corruption had done away she could leave. Even when she cut herself the fuzziness was still there but not as bad. She sighed and went and took a shower.

She got out and wrapped a towel around herself and peeked out of the door to see Adrian still asleep. Oh good, she forgot her uniform, and she kind of run to her closet, grabbing the shirt and skirt before running back to the bathroom and getting dressed. She had her hair brushed and put up and a light bit of makeup, which would probably be fixed later on, before looking at her clock. Oh! He said he would have breakfast with her, which was something she wanted even in this state of mind.

Molly peeked out again and bit her lip a little before heading out of the bathroom grabbing her tie as she walked past her desk. She sat on the side of the bed, her sky blue clear eyes looked at him. "Adrian?" She said before reaching out and shaking his arm a little bit. "Adrian, you promised me breakfast." She said a little louder shaking him until he opened his eyes. "If you don't get up we can't have breakfast before class." Molly said once he opened his eyes.

Once she was sure he was awake she went to get her homework nails scratching her arm. "Stop it, stop it" She muttered to herself, the scratching didn't help. If anything it would make it worse and she would cause herself to bleed, it was almost like a drug, blood magic. Molly shook her head to stop thinking about it as she put her jacket on and grabbed her bag. "You ready to go?"

"That's bullshit we both know why you're ending this!" Heather's vice was loud, her arms crossed as she yelled at Logan who was standing by her dorm door not looking to happy himself. This fight had been going on for at least the better part of two hours. And so far it was one of the shortest of their fights even.

"Because I walked in here and you were fucking some guy I don't know!" Logan yelled back at her, his eyes red but other than that he seemed so calm. Heather rolled her eyes and opened her mouth to repeat her same argument but Logan cut her off. "Do start with the lame excuse Heather, there is a difference between what we usually do and you sleeping with some random ass guy. Its against the rules we set."

"Rules, rules, rules. Fuck the fucking rules! You don't care about the rules! You just want to be free for her. Just quit being a coward and just say it! You're breaking up with me for Billie." Heather screamed at him, and there was a almosted panicked look on Logan.

"Will you stop screaming that! Damn. This is because you can't keep it in your pants even with loose commitment."

"Get the hell out of my room then!"

Logan sighed as he left Heather's room, and he headed towards Clary's room and knocked on the door, only to find no one home. He shook his head, and headed back towards his room, he really didn't want to go back and deal with Jackie. He stopped as he passed by one of the hallways, and headed down it instead of going to his own. Stopping at Alex and Billie's dorm and knocking on the door, it was late and he was planning on going there with Heather before anyway. "Hey Al, can I crash here tonight man?" He asked as the door was opened.

The quick and suddent movement of his bed made Logan sit up as Billie tripped getting out of his bed, a panicked look on his face as he looked around the room for whatever was going on. His red eyes looked at Clary before looking at Billie as she started stripping out of his clothes. Logan could help but watch her for a second before rubbing his eyes and groaning. It was to early for this, and he didn't feel like he had slept long enough.

When Billie yelled out fuck he yawned a little before speaking. "What the hell is going on?" He asked his voice coming out half asleep before he cleared his throat. Billie said something about class and Logan lazily looked at his watch before frowning, and getting up. Shit! He only had 45 minutes to get ready, and as Billie left he grabbed a pair of pants and got in the shower.

Once he got out he started getting ready, throwing his shirt on as he sighed. Today was going to be shit! He would have to deal with Jackie. With Devin, which would either go one of two ways, he would ignore him or try to suck up and get back on Logan's good side. "I might as well not fucking go today. Talk to the Arch mage and see if I can get the day out of class." He ranted out loud more to himself than to Clary before downing a vile of blood, but part of him almost hoped she would make him feel better about today. Even if she really couldn't.

He was still getting dressed when Cole showed up. Logan stopped moving as Cole placed her hands on his shoulders as he looked at her. One of the things he was starting to find good about Cole was she had a very calming tone of voice, and he found himself actually taking a deep breath to calm himself. He watched her as she dug in her bag and sat by Clary, tying his tie a little slower, she was right, he had a while before class, he had time to calm down.

He looked at the joint that Cole held out to him before looking at Clary and raising a brow. "Cole, vampires don't get high off of weed. Believe me, I've tried." He said as he pulled his jacket on, though he sighed at her reply and took it, it wouldn't work though. He took a hit of the joint and passed it back letting the smoke out, but felt nothing as he passed it back. Though as he hit it the second time he felt the high start to creep on him. He passed it back to Cole again, but after the third hit Logan held off on passing it back. "See....this isnt...." He blinked and hit it for the fourth time before passing it back. He let the smoke out, before looking at Clary. "What was you saying?"

Alex was more than amused at the fact it was only the second day of school and his sister was already running late. Normally she was up early, took her morning run, showered, dressed and went to breakfast before classes, but it was obvious that none of that had happened this morning. He laughed as he headed out the door, heading towards Jo’s room. He still felt a bit weak after yesterday, but it wasn’t anything too much, by the end of the day he’d be back to normal. He noticed the traffic in the halls starting to pick up as he got to Jo’s door. He gave a smile to the girl who answered, not even confused at the name she called him at first. “Morning.” He greeted.

He entered the room behind her, hearing her call him a hell pet. He didn’t pay any mind to it, and when Jo spoke to him he just chuckled. “It seems to be a theme this morning.” He said when she said she was running late. He watched as the plant grew for a moment before he looked down at her tugging at her tie. “Yeah.” He said, taking the ends from her and tying it for her. He made sure not to make it too tight, but he offered her a look at her next statement.

“I’m sure I’ll enjoy it. May I ask who he is though?” he asked before sitting in her bed a moment, waiting for her to finish brushing her hair. He got up when she was finished getting ready and opened the door for her, and then he called back into her room before they left. “Nice meeting you!”

He headed out, taking hold of Jo’s hand as they headed towards the Botany classroom and he adjusted his glasses. Well, now he remembered what he had forgotten to do yesterday, have the Arch Mage look at his glasses and see if the enchantment was wearing off. He could see colors still, just very dully, and it bugged him because sometimes it made text and other projects 100 times more difficult.

“So, you have third period off, right? I have to talk to the Arch Mage about my glasses, the damn things aren’t helping me much right now, but after that I’m free. If you had anything you needed help with from your coexistence with humans class, I could help you out. I was going to check a few things out for a couple other classes, so I’ve got plenty of time to help.” He offered, waiting for her to enter the classroom before he walked in after her, hearing a few whispers as some giggling girls walked by.

“Yeah, his hair was neon blue, and I don’t know what the hell his forehead said, but Jackie seemed to know. He got so pissed when she whispered it to him to.”

Alex’s brow rose, but he just went into the class and took his seat beside Jo.

--

Darren woke up the next morning to the sound of his door closing behind whoever left. Right, Jackie had stayed last night and they had made plans for tonight as well. He sat up and ran his fingers through his hair. He was glad he had taken first period off this year, but rather than going back to sleep, he got out of bed and headed into the bathroom for a shower. Once he got out of the shower, he sighed and started getting dressed, finding a note on his desk. He picked it up and read it, a small smile on his face as he put it in his top desk drawer and grabbed his wallet. He needed something to eat, that was for sure, and after tugging on his shoes he decided he’d come back for his tie and blazer.

However, luck didn’t seem to be on his side as he walked out the door and nearly slammed into a girl with curly brunette hair tied up in a ponytail with blue eyes. He saw her eyes turn red and almost immediately slit over like a dragon as his eyes went over black. “Watch it, dragon bitch.” He hissed and he felt himself get pressed against his door, her forearm against his chest. The hall was pretty empty, so no one seemed to stop or anything.

“I’ll give you a scar to match your back, Flint. Don’t fucking test me.” She hissed, pushing off of him hard as she picked up her bag and headed down the hall again. He shook his head and decided to purposely take the long way to the cafeteria. That bitch’s acid wasn’t anything to fuck with, especially since it could leave scars, even on those with accelerated healing. It was gross too. He sighed a bit and bounded the corner with just enough time to see Billie rushing out of her dorm, but glad she didn’t head his way. That bitch was fucking psycho too and it was obvious she was gunning for him already. Hopefully she would forget he was even at the school again soon too. Especially since he would have to worry about Scottson being back.

That one had been the first he had outcasted when he was leader, and if it wasn’t for the fact that Alex hadn’t ever actually given him a reason, he’d have glad outcasted him. His mind actually wandered back to the night he knew it all was going to change. Even he knew he was in trouble the minute he met Billie Sanders.

Darren sighed, looking around the room at the winter formal. News of a few new transfers coming in had hit the wire, and he looked to Justin who had brought him a drink as Maggie Martin, his current ex, glared at him as she walked past. However, his eyes watched her older sister who was wearing a short green dress and a pair of black heels. She was definitely hot, but Justin tapped his arm. “Dude, Randa will burn you alive.” He said, but Darren watched her for a few more minutes as she went over and stood with Alex, Garret, and Logan. He rolled his eyes a bit. Of course she’d be around them.

“The ass around here is slim picking. Either came with dates or is old news.” Darren grumbled before Hank, one of the demons that had been there for a couple of years pointed out a girl who just walked in.

“Never seen her before.” He said, and Darren allowed himself to look. She was in a short, strapless, red dress that flared out a bit at the bottom with a pair of heels that gave her legs some added appeal. She had tattoos on both biceps, and some on one forearm that he could see. Her hair was down and curled and her make up drew his attention to her eyes. She was hot, and Darren took Justin drink.

“Watch this.” Darren said and he walked over and put his arm around the girl, waving the cup before her. She had stopped walking and looked at the cup before looking at his face. “Hey there beautiful, drink?”

She took the drink from his hand before stepping out from under his arm and passing it to the nearest drunk person. “Do I have a sign on me somewhere that says you can touch me? I’m pretty sure I didn’t give you permission to.”

Darren chuckled and nodded, “Alright, alright. I apologize. You’re feisty and I like that, why don’t you come meet my friends? It’ll be fun.”

She gave a disgusted look before shaking her head. “Yeah, no thanks, just looking at you makes me feel like throwing up, so why don’t you be a good little boy and fuck off?”

She turned to walk away and he grabbed her arm. Within a few seconds she had his arm turned up behind his back and she pushed him away, and he watched as her eyes turned over black. “Touch me again and I break your arm.” She said, allowing her eyes to return to normal before Alex came over and put his arm around her.

“Well, you’re early little sis.” He said, steering her away from him and Darren just watched. That girl was strong, and a Sanders. He’d have to really watch the both now, especially with how open that rejection was. It was all too problematic, and his eyes found a blonde vampire nearby, and he walked over to her.

“Jackie, how hard do you think it would be to make that group’s life worse than hell?” he asked her, handing her his drink as he motioned his head over to where Alex had just steered the new girl. The one he now knew was Alex’s sister.

Darren shook the thought from his head, and he headed into the nearly empty cafeteria for his breakfast.

--

Adrian felt the weight shift on the bed he was on, but he didn’t move at first. He rolled on his back, still partially asleep before a voice came. It was unexpectedly soft, but once he opened his eyes and saw Molly he gave himself a second before he sat up and nodded. “I didn’t realize it was already so late.” He said before he got out of bed, his words a bit mumbled as he grabbed his clothes and headed into her bathroom for a minute.

He threw some water on his face and changed a bit quickly, so to keep his promise to her. He was still a little groggy, but he had slept rather well, which had been abnormal for a long time, and he just didn’t want to get out of bed. He looked at her after he grabbed his things and nodded. “I am. I’m guessing you are too?” he said, his voice still a little mumbled, but he cleared his throat as he went to her door. “Ladies first.”

He opened the door for her and once she was out, he followed behind her. He yawned a bit, rubbing his neck a bit before he looked to her. “Sorry, it takes me a little bit to fully wake up.” He said to her, seeing she was in a seemingly good mood. He didn’t want to ruin it because he was a bit of a mumbler in the morning, especially since he just wasn’t a big morning person. He got used to his days starting at noon out of the school, so this was definitely an adjustment.

When they got to the cafeteria, he placed his bag on the back of a chair. “What do you want? I’ll get it for you, considering you didn’t have to let me crash with you last night.” He said a bit, quietly, before his eyes scanned the room for where he was smelling coffee from.

--

Clary watched as Logan scurried around the room, and she couldn’t help but sigh. She was trying to ask him to calm down, but it seemed that once Cole came in it helped. She sat on her bed, her hand pressed against her mouth as Logan took the first hit off the joint before he passed it to Cole who hit it before passing it back. “Trust me, man, it’ll help.” She said, and after he passed it back the second time Clary saw Cole just smirk.

The two girls stayed quiet a moment as Logan held the joint, but Clary couldn’t contain it anymore and began laughing. Cole took the joint back and watched as Clary put Logan’s bag on his shoulder. “Well, Mr. Vampy Pants, we are walking with you to class so you can get situated.” She said and she watched as Clary put her arm around Logan, sliding a couple of vials of blood she had acquired last night in his bag for him. “Now, you’re probably going to feel a little buzzed for an hour or two, but trust me, when you come down you’ll feel loads better.”

Cole opened the door, seeing Clary grab Logan’s keys off his desk and shove them in his bag too as they headed out. Cole fell in step beside Clary, a smile on her facd, and she listened a second as Clary asked. “Will he be okay after we leave him?”

“Of course, Clary, it’s a mellower. Not quite medicine grade, but definitely what he needed.” Cole smiled before she walked over to Logan’s other side and patted his back. He should come down by gym. Hopefully, depends on how long it’s been since he’s been high.”

Clary nodded a bit, and when they bounded the corner she saw Devin heading into the classroom behind Jackie before Clary noticed a brunette girl with curly hair tied up getting ready to head in. “Hey, um… I’ll be right back. Can you just make sure he’s alright for a second?” Clary asked and Cole nodded before waving to the girl who waved back.

“I got him, go ahead.” Cole said, and she walked with Logan to the classroom. “Now, Mr. Vampy Pants, if you need to level put again, just come find me. I’ll help you out.” Cole poked her head in the door after he headed in and saw him sit down before she looked to Clary and saw her coming back over. “He’s in his seat.”

“Good, thanks. Come on, let’s get to class.” Clary said and Cole nodded as they headed up the hallway to Harlow’s classroom.

It was already starting off to be a day, the blue eyed dragon-vampire hybrid noted as she headed down the hall after almost literally bumping into Darren Flint. That fucker really needed to just disappear, Ezria thought as she bounded the corner, her eyes seeing the fleeting glance of some people she knew. Her hair was up, especially since she had a long night of unpacking and getting her things together. She had a small vial of blood tucked in her pocket, just in case, and as she began down the hall towards her first class, she saw Alex Sanders. She felt a small smile twinge at her lips before she saw him holding hands with a cute little red head.

She had to remind herself that this wasn’t a couple of years ago, that Alex had moved on from her, but still… seeing it was harder than she anticipated. She waited a minute before she headed down the hall again, until he was in the classroom he was heading in with the red head, and she shook her head. Oh, she definitely would need the blood before long if her day kept going like this. She was so absorbed in her thoughts though, she barely realized someone said her name. “Ez!” the bright voice came, and it caused a small smile to come to her face as she looked up. She looked just past her too, and she saw Colette standing with Logan before Clary took all of her attention.

“Hey Clar, nice to see you again.” She said, and she felt Clary hug her briefly before she looked at her. “What’s up?”

Clary just laughed a bit. “Please tell me you have Bloodlust right now.” When Ez nodded, she saw instant relief come over Clary’s face. “Thank goodness. Can you do me a favor? Can you keep an eye on Logan? Cole gave him a little something to help him mellow out, and now he’s um… he’s feeling very good. I just don’t want someone to you know…” Clary looked down and Ez looked to see Cole poking her head into the classroom.

“I got you, Clary. No one will ruin his good mood while I’m there.” She said, rubbing Clary’s shoulder. “Plus, this should be entertaining.”

Clary smiled up at her and nodded before taking off, and Ez headed into the classroom before she slid in the seat beside Logan. She was almost curious as to which one Cole had given him, but she poked Logan’s shoulder. “Well, well, hello there stranger.” She said. She was still really distracted, her mind wanting to be every where else, but Ez knew so long as she was near Logan, everyone who knew better wouldn’t fuck with them. She hadn’t been leaders of the Dragon crowd for no reason after all.

Billie sighed a bit from her place at the front of Harlow’s classroom as everyone began filing in. She was writing the symbols for the lesson on the board, watching as the assignments from the night before we’re placed at the corner of Harlow’s desk, like they usually were. Her focus was broken as a brunette girl with hazel eyes came over with her camera in hand. “First off, what the hell happened to you last night?” she asked, and Billie couldn’t help but to smirk.

“Well, made the biggest mistake of my life thinking Justin would be worth a damn and then I was kinda tied up the rest of the night. Why?” she asked and when she saw the look she got, she laughed. “Not literally, Randa. I don’t let just anyone do that.”

Randa laughed a bit. “Well, clear room for me tonight, babe. I need my B time.” She said, “Now, how much do you love me?”

Billie gave Randa a smile before her eyes glanced at the camera. “The better question is, how much am I going to?” she said, and Randa just smiled.

“Oh, a lot. So, I happened to be walking down the hall as bitchpire, and let’s call him sir ball less right now, were having a conversation. Oh, whoever did this is brilliant and deserves a special basket.” She said, and Billie felt Randa throw her arm around Billie and turned the camera to her. It was Devin with neon blue hair and Faelish on his forehead. Billie immediately started laughing, barely feeling Harlow peeking over their shoulders when he did.

“Babe, get me a copy of that and I’ll love you forever.” Billie said, tears coming to her eyes she was laughing so hard. “And get me another couple copies too, I’m pretty sure I know who did it. Only one comes to mind who could, and I’ve got to ask how they did it because that is fucking beautiful.”

Randa nodded. “So, for obviously making your day, I get my request for tonight?” she asked and Billie nodded.

“Hell, tonight, tomorrow, whatever you need you have me. I just have detention tonight.” Billie said, watching Randa walk to her seat before Harlow came over and whispered.

“Stick around for a minute after class, I’ll give you a note. You’ll enjoy it.” Harlow said and Billie nodded a bit before she went back to finishing up her stuff on the board. Oh, maybe her day wouldn’t be a total bust, but her mind wandered again to last night, the smile staying on her face as she thought about it. Her eyes fell to her pendant and noticed it was glowing a soft grey, and she tucked it into her shirt before anyone else saw it.

Jordyn gave Alex a slightly confused look on her face as he spoke. "It is? Oh well than I guess I'm not running late after all." She said relaxing a little bit, after all if everyone was running late today then she had no reason to worry about it. When Alex said he would fix her tie for Jo smiled a little, before standing still as he fixed it. It was really nice of him to fix it without even getting upset, and though the start of the day had been a little stressful to began with, she was starting to feel like today was going to be a good one. The look she received at her next statement made the grin her face wore only grow and she shook her head at him.

"No you may not." She answered looking at him as he sat on the bed, and she grabbed her brush from her desk. "It's surprise and I'm not going to ruin it. But it will make you feel better." She added before she brushed her hair quickly, leaving it down and grabbed her bag before heading out of the door.

Jo glanced back as she heard Alex talking to Amber and stopped waving her hand and revealing Amber sitting crossed legged on her bed doing her homework with a fruit bar sticking out of her mouth. Amber looked up and pulled the fruit out. "We've met, but nice seeing you again black eyes." She answered before they took off.

Jo smiled a bit as Alex took her and looked up at him. "So, who do I ask to find out what those day theme things are? They didn't tell me last year." She asked, having took his words as actually being literal instead of a joke.

Jo nodded a little as he asked if she had third period free. "That sounds good to me, if I don't have any homework you can help me study a bit, we have a test tomorrow to see how much we actually understand." She said before heading into class to see Chambliss hadn't made it in yet, and she took her seat looking at Alex as he sat down. "So where should we meet up?" She asked as Chambliss came in carrying a rack filled with different colored potions.

Molly waited patiently as she waiting for Adrian to come out of the bathroom and she nodded as he said he guessed she was ready too, and she grabbed her bag asshe headed for the door. "Thank you." She said happily as he held the door for her, and she turned around locking it once he was outside with her. Throwing her keys in her bag she started down the hall towards the lunch room with Adrian.

Molly looked back at Adrian as he apologized for being groggy, and she shook her head a little bit. "It's fine cutie, you'll wake up once you get your coffee." She said a little cheerfully as she walked. Truthly she found it kind of cute at the moment, a big mumbling sleepy dragon following her around to get coffee. Once they got to the cafeteria, she was happy her normal table empty and sat her bag on the back of the chair before looking at Adrian.

"Hmmm...just a lemon and raspberry filled doughnut and some coffee black, I perfer to make mine up." She said gesturing by the door where they had a stand with different flavored coffee creamers. She noticed him for the coffee and smiled a bit pointing at a counter. "You can get coffee over there, doughnuts and pastries over there, normal breakfast food there, and that place has like sandwiches, breakfast pizza, and egg rolls." She said pointing at a few different places that she knew what they sold. "I don't know about the others, they're new." Before going to get herself cookie dough flavor coffee creamer packets.

As she got back her table she saw Darren coming in and rolled her eyes a little bit. However, as he passed her table she spoke. "I was wondering how long it would take before you came out of hiding. How have you been?" She asked with a little bit of a smile. When Adrian got back to the table she took her coffee from him. "Adrian, this is Darren." She introduced them sitting back down.

Logan didn't think that this was going to work at all, there had only been once that he had gotten high since he was turned. Then now he was sure that Garret had laced that with whatever hardcore drug he had been on at the time. If nothing else he was trying what Cole was giving him because she was so sure of herself and he didn't want to be rude. Much to his surprise the high snuck up on him by the third hit, or well, to his surprise latter. As of right now, he didn't care, not a care in the world, he was so calm and relaxed. He felt someone put something on his shoulder and looked at Clary with a bright smile. "Hello, there." He said before poking her nose.

Logan's attention was pulled back to Cole as she spoke to him calling him Vampy Pants, but he was pretty sure his pants weren't vampire pants and he shook his head. "No, Cole I'm the vampire not my pants, and they need me for class." He said with a straight face. She starting to explain how long the high would last, but half way through her talking he stopped paying attention, his eyes going to her nose instead. Logan reached his hand out slowly and poked Cole's nose before looking at her and grinning.

Soon they were out in the hallway and Logan was just zoned out as he started to make his way to class, not paying attention to Clary and Cole's talking until he felt Cole patting his back, a thoughtful look on his face. "Last year, a caught a fae hybrid on the rebound." He answered before the smell of food made him go to turn towards the cafeteria, before being steered towards his class again.

Logan saw Devin head into the classroom after Jackie and he felt himself let out a soft hiss before Clary left his side. He glanced at the girl she went to talk to before looking at Cole. "I hate him Cole, he knew I wanted her." He said before she started to walk him towards the class, the best point about whatever he smoked, was it made it hard for him to stay on that train of thought. "You got it, thanks Angel skirt." He said before heading into the class.

Once he got into the class Logan smiled a bit to himself as he headed to his seat beside the black haired guy whose head was on his arm laying on the table. "Hello there." He said looking at Zach who opened his eyes and mubbled something about being tried and Logan just looked at him before feeling someone poking his shoulder and he looked at the girl that sat beside him and smiled. "Hello there." He answered back staring at her for a second, before leaning a bit closer squinting. "You know, you look like my friend Ez."

When she said it was Ez he smiled great big. "Oh! Hello Ez, I didn't know you were back. Welcome back, this is my friend Zach. Zach this is my friend Ez I was talking about."

Zach opened his eyes looking over the brunette quickly before mubbering. "Hello friend Ez." After a moment after closing his his eyes before feeling a finger poking his nose, his eyes opened quickly to see Logan smiling at him, finger still on his nose. With a bit of laugh he slapped it away sitting up straight. "What is up with you man?"

Logan just gave a confused look to Zach before looking towards the ceiling and at Ez whispering. "I think Zach is high." Though his attention was pulled towards the front of the room as Ravenwood made his way to the front class. He was talking about the type of triggers for blood rage. Thrist, anger, stress, the smell itself, and intimate activities. "That means sex." Logan whispered as he leaned a little closer to Ez.

Ravewood looked towards Logan hearing what he said. "That's right Mr. Smith, that means sex." He said a think Irish accent coming through his words. "And what is one of the ways to keep yourself from losing control in that situation?"

"Have sex." The class around him laughed at the seriousness of Logan's tonein that answer.

Even a smirk showed on Ravenwood's face as he shook his head. "I'm looking a answer that that prevents those urges Mr. Smith."

"Picture you?" Logan asked his face get as set as it was with the first answer.

Heather was already running late for shifting as it was. Not because she had overslept, but because well, she truly had wanted to go in the first place. However, as she as she made her way towards her class she smiled to herself. "Clary! Hold up, love!" She yelled the clicking of her heels speeding up a little as she ran to catch up to her. Once she caught up she held a finger up, trying to catch her breath.

"Oh Neptune, you wouldn't believe how hard it is to run in heels! You're lucky." She said and once she caught her breath she smiled looping an arm through Clary's and starting to walk again. "I always miss you on the way to class, this is nice." She said with a bright smile before looking at the girl beside Clary. "Hello love, Cole right?"

Once the two of them had been introduced she smiled at Clary. "What are you doing third peroid love? Because I was wondering if I could steal your notes for history. And I have to finsh up homework, or you did some to finish up my homework lunch so I thought, maybe we could do an early one?" She asked before looking at Cole. "And you're welcome to of course, don't know what you have off."

--

Molly sighed a bit as she saw that there were still people filing into the class ALD class room, half afraid they would be late. As soon as she got inside, as weaved herself a way for her and Adrian to get to their table. Sitting down she smiled a bit to herself taking a a drink of her left over coffee.

Alex chuckled a bit as Jo calmed down a bit while he tied her tie for her. He could always teach her how to do it later on, seeing as it would end up easier in the long run if she couldn’t find someone to help her with it. When she said he couldn’t ask, he gave a thoughtful but nodded a bit. “Okay, okay. Then I won’t push. Especially since you’re so sure it’ll make me feel better.” He said, and once they were out the door, he noticed a lot more people shuffling around.

Her next question took a second for him to get, but then he shook his head. “Oh, I hadn’t meant it literally I just meant it seemed like everyone I’ve been around has been running late. You. Billie. But it’s not like you’re running that far behind, we still have plenty of time.” He told her with a small smile. It was cute how she’d taken him literally, at least he’d thought so.

He nodded to her when she said it sounded good to meet up for third period, and he thought a moment. “Well, how about the library? It’s not too terribly far from the gym, so we wouldn’t have to worry about that once it was time for class again. Plus, I need to check out a few books for my Realms class. I don’t do so well in that class.” He chuckled a bit at the last part. Only reason he didn’t do so well in Realms is because the teacher was so boring. Hell, the first two years he’d only stayed awake because he took the class with Garret and then last year he’d had it with Billie. He was still amazed he’d passed the classes of it that he had.

Once Chambliss made it into the room, Alex noted that she had a rack with all sorts of potions on it, but the colors were so faded that even when he squinted he had trouble telling what colors they were. Yeah, he’d definitely have to talk to the Arch Mage about this because now it was going to get detrimental. Granted, sure, if Alex could see color it would have made a lot of his classes easier, but this class in particular, you kind of needed to know what color things were. He knew a lot of plants and potions were identified by color and when mixing potions if you got the wrong color, you were kind of screwed.

Adrian was slightly relieved by the fact that a Molly didn’t seem too annoyed with the fact he was groggy in the morning. Hell, the fact that even she understood that coffee damn near fixed any groggy was good too because then she could point him in the right direction once they got into the cafeteria. It was damn near immediate when they got into the cafeteria that he could smell coffee. That alone was beginning to make him more alert.

Once Molly had answered him and gave him a quick rundown of where everything was, he headed over and got her doughnuts first and himself a bagel. Then he went over and got their coffees before he headed back over to the table she had picked and noticed she was talking to someone. He looked extremely familiar, but he doubted he’d met him outside the school.

Darren looked to Molly when she spoke to him and stopped a minute. “Figure it was time to. Besides, too much other shit going on for me to be a priority on anyone’s list anyway.” He said before smiling. “But I’ve been doing good, and yourself?” His eyes moved once he saw the big dragon demon come over to them. Now that was convenient.

Once Adrian had put the things in his hands down and Molly took her coffee, he looked at Darren. “Nice to meet you, I’m Adrian.” He said, offering his hand out and shaking it.

“You’re the one Billie cast out.” Darren said. “I’ve been there.”

Adrian just nodded a bit and he watched Darren for a second before Darren spoke again, “But, you know, there is always a way to get back at her for that.” He looked at Molly and smiled. “Good seeing you again, I’ll leave you two be.”

Adrian looked at him and nodded. “I might come find you later.”

Darren just smirked and walked off as Adrian sat down and looked at Molly. He took a sip of his coffee and a bite of his bagel before he asked, “He’s Darren Flint isn’t he?” he asked. Once he’d heard the name Darren, he could see that he was his father’s child. The two definitely had a family resemblance, and it was why he seemed so familiar. And if he had that annoying as gift with words his father had spoke about, then he’d definitely be valuable, even if he seemed hated around here.

--

Clary couldn’t help but smile as Logan went on and touched her nose and Cole’s. He was just so carefree but it worried her. He could be taken advantage of so easily in this mind frame, and she didn’t want to leave him without someone she trusted. So the moment she saw Ez, she had to run over and talk to her.

Cole looked to Logan when he saw Devin, but she didn’t breathe a word as to what he said. She had seen it that first night before classes, and then Clary had told her what she’d walked in on. It was said, but if the two could just stop being so damn stubborn neither of them would have to feel that way again. She watched him as he headed into the class and then started walking with Clary. A voice caused them to slow down and Cole just smiled to the girl.

Clary smiled too. “Oh, hi!” she greeted, “I know. Not like last year when we had first period together.”

Cole just nodded. “Yeah, sis, and you’re Heather, right?”

Clary looked at Heather and smiled a bit and answered. “Nothing is on my agenda for third period.” Once Heather continued on, Clary nodded. “Oh! That sounds wonderful! I just have to stop by my dorm after second period and I’ll meet you in the cafeteria.”

Cole looked to them. “Love to join, but I’ve got class that period.”

Clary smiled a bit. “So, it’s a date? I’ll see you then. I don’t want to be late for Harlow’s class.” She said as they got up to where Harlow’s door was and she gave Heather a small hug before heading in and Cole waved to her.

“Nice meeting you.” Cole said as she headed in with Clary.

--

Ez took a deep breath before walking into the Bloodlust classroom, immediately spotting Logan. She had promised Clary she’d keep and eye on him, but it wasn’t until she got up to him that she realized how baked he was. After he had made a comment about her looking like his friend Ez. She shook her head. “Might be because I am your friend Ez.”

His reaction to finding out it was actually her made her genuinely smile and she nodded. “Yeah, and this time I won’t be pulling any disappearing acts.” She waved a little to Zach. “Nice to meet you.” She said and she had to cover her mouth with her hand when she saw Logan poke his nose.

Then he said he thought Zach was high and she couldn’t contain it, “Oh, honey, I want whatever you’re on. I need to feel that good.” She said, and she just smiled a bit more before Ravenwood started the lesson. This class was just progressively getting better as it went on, and she looked at Logan when he told her that ‘intimate activities’ meant sex. She whispered back, “I know, Lo.”

Then Ravenwood seemed to have caught it and the collective laughter from Logan’s answer was great, but Ez had to put her head down once he told Ravenwood to picture him. She couldn’t get over his lack of a filter, but once she calmed down she spoke. “He’s not entirely on the wrong path. Mental blocks work very well, as well as other physical activities such as running and weight training. Other methods of curbing triggers could also include eating, but it depends on the trigger.”

Ez could have went on for days about curbing bloodlust, seeing as she didn’t have any issues with it aside from when she was angry, but even then her dragon half was more dominant than anything. If it hadn’t been required she take this class because she was half vampire, she wouldn’t be. Her eyes scanned over to Jackie who wasn’t far from them, and she looked over at Logan and whispered, quietly. “Tell me that you’re not with bitchpire anymore. Last I’d heard, you were.”

--

Harlow leaned on the front of his desk as the rest of the students filed in. Billie was finishing up putting the assignment on the board as everyone handed it in as they entered. He sighed, and once they were all seated he began. “Alright class, we’re going to spend the first ten minutes going over any questions you had from the assignment last night before we move on to the next part of the lesson. Also, for those of you who will need tutoring or study sessions, I will have days I conduct my study session s on the board in the morning as well as a list of tutors. The best person to ask other than myself, is Billie.” He said and he watched as Billie sat down in her seat and began grading the assignments from last night with his answer key. As if she didn’t already know the answers anyway.

He didn’t want her doing too much this class period, seeing as though his sixth period class she would be teaching herself so he didn’t have to cancel it and put them behind. He had his lesson plan ready for her and he walked over to the board and began explaining last night’s assignment, seeing a few people take notes as he did and a few just kind of put their heads down. Well he knew of a few students that were already failing then. Once he was done he began his lesson.

“Can anyone here tell me the significance of the modifiers that are put on the Old Demonic language?” he asked, and once he saw a hand go up he pointed. “Yes, Miss Martin.”

Randa smiled. “Modifiers change the base symbol only slightly in appearance, but can drastically change meaning. Like, for example, if you put a silencing modifier in the symbol for purity, it would only add a small swish to how it looks, but it also would be able to silence any dark creature.”

Harlow nodded. “The modifying symbols became very popular in the first angel demon wars, but have continued to show usefulness throughout the ages since. Simple modifications to any base symbol can help increase meaning of communication and in the spoken language, it often changes how the word sounds and can be extremely dangerous if modified words are said wrong.” He said, and he erased the board and continued his lesson.

“Oh,” Jo said, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink after Alex told her that his words hadn't been literal, she felt stupid now. She caught the small smile on Alex’s lips from the corner of her eye, and shook her head looking up at him with the still light blush. “I, um, totally knew you were joking. I was just making sure you knew you were. Yeah….” She finished before looking away and changing the subject.

Jo thought for a moment before nodding when Alex said they should meet in the library, it was a bit of a walk from her second class, but he was right about it being close to the gym. Plus she could get couple of books so needed too. “Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Plus it will be quiet.”

She made a slight face when he brought up Realms. “I should probably get some books for that class too, we don't have Realms thank the Mother. Fucking confusing.” She said with a small chuckle before she saw Chambless come in with the different colored potions, and glanced at Alex for a moment before whispering. “How about I handle today's lesson and you can do tomorrow?” She really didn't want to get blown up or something.

---

Molly nodded at Darren’s words. “That's true I guess.” Though she doubted it would last long with asshole demon coming back. She smiled a bit when he said that he had been good she hadn't talked to Darren other than in passing for...three years. It had been so fucking long. “I’ve been…” She hesitated for a second. How could she answer that question honestly? “..I’ve been surviving. I’m not sure I’d say good or bad.” She chuckled a little bit before Adrian made his way back.

She smiled a bit to herself, making her coffee up as she listened to Adrian and Darren talking. She had just taken a bit from one of her doughnuts when Darren spoke to her again. Molly looked back up at him and gave a small smile waving her hand in response to him, she watched him walk away before looking at Adrian again as she swallowed. “Thanks for the doughnuts.”

Molly took a sip of her coffee as she nodded to his question. “Yeah, that's him. And from that look on your face I know what you're thinking. You should know, bring him in could lose you a lot of chance with the other demons.” She warned before thinking for a second. “Might get you miss queen bee vampire though. She used to follow him around like a love sick puppy.” She added before taking another bite.

---

Heather smiled a bit when Clary greeted her before nodding. “Right? Hell I’d rather deal with Harlow than this stupid fucking shifting class though.” She laughed a bit before she said hello to Cole and nodded when she asked if that was her name.

She was extremely happy when Clary said that she would have an early lunch with her, and she looked at Cole and frowned just a tiny bit. “Well boo, maybe you can join us next time, love.” Heather told Cole before smiling a bit at Clary.

“Oh I’ll wear my fancy ugly school outfit then.” She joked at the use of the use of the word date, sadly Clary had to get to class and she gave her a hug back before waving at Cole. “Nice meeting you too, love.” She said before she started heading to her class, her pace slow because she truly didn't care.

She was the last one to arrive for class, and late of course. The professor was just starting the class, she looked at Heather as she entered. “You're late again Miss. Blackburn.” She said and Heather rolled her eyes.

“Yeah, sorry I left my room late.” She said not even looking at the professor but for a seat. All of the seats were taken already expect one in the back, which was a little annoying actually. Two of her guys were in this class with her and they didn't save her a damn seat?! She glared at the both of them as she passed by their seats too, both guys avoiding her glance. Yeah, they knew they were gonna have to kiss her ass extra strength now.

As she got to the seat she glanced down at the dark haired boy that looked about as asleep as she wished she was at the moment. Heather sat her coffee down on the table, before sighing a bit sitting in her chair. She pulled out her book and sat it on the table before pulling her music player, sticking a headphone her ear and left one out. She moved her book to separate her side of the table from his, and put her feet up on the table leaning her chair back on it back two legs, pulling at her skirt again as she did.

---

Logan was extremely happy when Ez said that she was indeed Ez, he didn't remember hearing that she was coming back. Did he hear she was coming back? He didn't remember hearing that she was. He shook his head a little, forgetting what he was thinking about. Hey! Ez was back! He was happy she was back. When she said that she wasn't going to pull anymore disappearing acts, Logan nodded a bit still smiling. “That's alright I like card tricks better.”

Once he poked Zach’s nose he told Ez that he thought that Zach was high, after all he thought that he was up higher than Zach was. Logan smiled a bit as Ez spoke to him and he leaned in before whispering. “You should talk to Angel Skirt.” His finger coming up and poking her nose as he sat back in his seat as Ravenwood started the class.

Though it might have seemed like his answers were just for a laugh, Logan really was trying to guess the right answer. Having sex was a good way to fight the urge of bloodlust. It kept your mind off the urge, and really, who would want to have sex after picturing one of their professors?

Ravenwood was a little shocked and the response he got the his second question. At really sure if he should be pissed about the insult, or impressed about how quickly and seriously it came out. He blinked looking at Ezria as she started speaking, before nodding as she spoke. “Very good examples Ezria.” Ravenwood said, his eyes glancing at Logan who was staring at his book before turning back to the board and started teaching again.

Jackie felt eyes on her as she was writing notes and glanced up, catching the eyes of the dragon bitch on her. She let her eyes flash yellow as she let out a growl, watching her until she looked away.

Logan was staring down at his book when Ez spoke to him again, and he glanced back at Jackie, who looked at him before looking away. “No, I broke up with her yesterday.” He answered before he let out a soft hiss. “She’s lucky I didn't put her through a wall. I’m living with Clary now even. I was only dating her to stop the fighting.”

Jo has turned a very faint shade of pink when Alex had told her he wasn't being literal. But it was so cute, and when she tried to cover it up, he just nodded and decided to go with it. "Okay."

When she said it was a good idea to meet in the library, he gave a small nod. "Alright. I figured it'd be a better place to study. Plus, after Harlow's class some place quiet will be nice. There are so many people in my second period ALD class that are just straight annoying all the time. Devin... Jackie. Ugh." He mumbled the very last bit more to himself. He couldn't help that though, and it wasn't like he had Garret to sit there with like he usually did in classes like that.

Actually, he might, Garret would be back tomorrow and he hoped to Lucifer that it some how lined up like it usually did and he was in the class with him. Because he would need someone other than Maggie Martin, and Justin, of course, to sit with. Especially since all of the people he was most annoyed by seemed like they were in that class. And he remembered Harlow mentioning Darren was in that class too, though Alex hadn't even realized he was back until the last period yesterday.

Alex let out a light laugh at what Jo had said. "Yeah. Doesnt helo the tracher is boring... Nor seems to know what he's talking about ever. I mean, I'm sure he does, but I can't ever get past how boring he is." He looked over at Chambliss, still trying to make out the colors of the potions on the rack ehen Jo had whispered to him. He nodded and whispered back. "That might be a good idea. I didn't realize that the enchantment had wore off as bad as it had until now."

He opened up his notebook and his textbook and waited for the class to begin.

--

Darren gave a nod to Molly's answer, even if he knew that some parts had been worse than others since he actually talked to her. Especially last year, he had known parts of last year had to have been Hell for her, and then some parts with Daylen. He had hung around them a few times while they were dating, since he was friends with Daylen, but once he had gone... Well... Completely off the rails, even he had to take a step back from everything.

He waved them both off before he went to eat his breakfast and once Molly spoke, Adrian have a nod. "You're welcome." He said, taking a sip of his coffee before he listened to her again. Losing out on the majority of the demon crowd would suck, but seeing as he was already an outcast, maybe if he had help he could bad together the other outcasts. Plus, if it got him vampire queen bed, that would help too.

"Both have their pros and cons, but if hes got that gift of gab, he's worth it. Plus, we can always figure out the main parts of the demon crowd later. As nice as it would be to get early, it doesn't hurt to wait on it either." He said, taking another large sip of coffee. This coffee was strong, amd he was glad for thsg because it was making his grogginess go away just a little bit quicker.

--

Clary had given a small laugh to what Heather said and Cole nodded. "Definitely next time."

Clary couldnt help the giggle at Heather's response to the word date and she shook her head. "Oh come on, you know you rock it." She said, but she had to get to class and her and Cole headed in and noticed Billie was already there and talking to Randa. Clary couldn't help but to smile when she saw Billie too. After what she had seen last night, it was the first time she had real hope that her and Logan would stop being so damn stubborn and just finally admit what they felt.

Cole had noticed the smile as she say with Clary, and she gave her a soft rub on the shoulder when they went to sit down. "Where is your assignment, Ill out it on the desk for you." She said and once Clary have her her assignment, she went up and places it on Harlow's desk before taking her seat.

--

It was waaaaaaaay too early to be in shifting class right now, the dark blond thought as his head dropped on the table. Cain had always liked sitting in the back of the class because he always had trouble staying awake during class. Especially first period. When it was boring as Hell. You know, he could understand certain class requirements, but it wasn't like he'd just randomly shift into dragon form!

He kept his head down for a few more minutes before he felt someone take the seat beside him and he rolled his head to see a cute blonde girl there. At least he wasn't sitting with someone who would constantly try and wake him uo it seemed. She had already put in her music player and put her chair on two legs, trying to adjust her skirt.

"Just going to warn you, of you want to sit like that again tomorrow, I'll switch the chairs, that chair doesn't look like it'll say balances with the legs being off." He half mumbled to her before he rested his chin on his firearms and looked forward, allowing his cheek to rest against his arm again as he shit his eyes.

This class really needed to not be first thing in the morning. Hed much rather still be asleep.

--

Ez couldn't help the small laugh as Logan poked her nose though she was completely confused when he said Angel Skirt. After a minute it clicked though, he had meant Cole. She would definitely have to talk to Cole later because Logan apparently felt really good and she really needed that now.

Now that class was starting, Ez couldn't help but to sit there and laigh at Logan's answers before she gave some better examples. Her eyes flicked over to Jackie when he had answered her and she gave a gentle nod. "Well that's good." She mumbled a bit, though she gave a partial frown at the last bit. "Oh, I was just wondering because it's been so nice to see a friendly face, I thought it would be nice to catch up sometime."

Well, it was true, but now that she knew Jackie was listening she really wanted to fuck with her. Of all the dumbass moves Jackie could have made while Ez was gone, it was start that stupid fucking fued she had heard about. Because even Drake knew, had Ez been there, she would have given him the dragon group and shed have taken the vampires from her. It wouldn't have taken much, but now Ez apparently had her own issues to deal with on her own group.

Apparently, as Drake had told her late last night as he helped her unpack, she had a new dragon who didn't like the rules. Oh, that one would learn very quickly. If anyone knew anything about Ez, it was that though she led one of the larger groups in the school, she made damn sure they fell in line when they needed to.

As class went on, Ez had sat there and took notes, doodling in the margin on her page. "You know, considering I'm half dragon and it dominates, I really wish this class wasn't required for me." She mumbled half to herself. However, it was required for all vampires and vampire breeds, no matter if the other half of them was more dominate.
