super tired. Just realized I forgot to describe the magnitude of the situation we just left. I'll throw info at Whoami for her to spin into a wonderfully woeful tale about leaving people behind.

Also, since we're now posting about life on board the ship, everyone should give the Lincoln in Whoami's character sheet another look over. Keep in mind that the Lincoln is not a comfortable ship. Corridors are a bit on the narrow side, and the most spacious rooms on the ship are probably the hangars and the gyms/rec rooms.

Also Hex. Them dogtags. That reminds me of that one alien invasion movie... the name is escaping me right now, but its about a platoon/squad of men fighting aliens that invade earth to steal its water. Battle: Los Angeles. The scene where the main character is naming each of his dead squad members with ID and all by memory.

Oh well I was basing it off of the seminal 1993-1994 american giant robot series Exosquad. In which it shows Captain Avery Butler writes a personal letter home to each of the dead grunts families. And how he never forgot them. But to each his own!

Myke! What speeds would our hyperdrive be carrying us at? I'm typing in 1.63 ly/h but I feel that that is -little- too fast. Would you be more preferable toward something like .85 or .90 ly/h? Or is 1.63 good?

As for any numbers like Cerol's population, the collateral damage, the remainder of the 5th fleet, the speed the Lincoln is travelling at in warp and the amount of days it will take for the Ulysses' orbit to decay and fall, I can edit them if you want them changed, Myke! ^.^

You know, quite a few similarities between this RP and 'Sunrider: Mask of Arcadius' visual novel/turn based strategy game.

Both sides, home planet was destroyed. Cerol in our case, 'Cera' in their's.
The stations housing the ship was destroyed. Ulysses for us, unnamed space dock for them.
Lincoln matches the Sunrider somewhat. Both are hybrid warships, although one is officially labelled as a Battle Carrier, the other an Assault Carrier(the speed is fast, but after upgrading, that thing is a beast >.>)
Both ships have a WMG, or the Vangaurd Cannon in the Sunrider.
Both deploy mechas, MAS for Lincoln, Ryder for Sunrider.
Band of misfits for both >.>
Both warships were forced to flee the station and home planet due to an overwhelming attack by the enemies.
Enemy has a super weapon, unnamed here, the Legion over there(which really was just a massive ship that dwarfed the already behemoth sized Sunrider.

Slightly unrelated note, the SFX of the Sunrider firing the Kinetic-Type Main Guns....oh~ the deep bass sound~

I beat Sunrider, at least for now, haven't done the school version. You should PM me what happens if you don't have the CP. I used it but I don't think I actually did, mayhaps I hit the wrong button.

So now I've restarted to see how it goes with other choices.

I remember restarting and just absolutely farming that pirate mission at the beginning where you need to sink/destroy the outpost. Kill all except the outpost, more spawn in~
