Premise

Not all stories are happy ones. The digital world is usurped by seven powerful beings, and it’s denizens desperately cried out to their last hope: The digidestined. But what if they aren’t the relatively happy and good people form the shows? What if, as if it had some sick sense of humor, the universe picked a batch of digidestined as flawed as the digital world’s new masters? And how will these misfits react when they go to sleep only to wake up in a strange, new land?

The Digital world

Firewall island: The island serves as the entryway to digital world. It contains a series of obstacles, enemies and puzzles to be overcome, to prove whether a digidestined is worthy of continuing on.

“Mainframe” Server: “The Kingdom”: A single island of relative freedom, Mainframe is the refuge and fortress of those who escaped the demon lords’ iron grip on Erebus. It was split from the main continent by an unknown force and carried farther into the sea, giving it a better chance to stand off an invasion.

“Erebus” Server: “The Seven Realms”: What used to be the only continent in the digital world is now dominated by the new masters and a large bay where Mainframe used to be a part of it. The continent is divided into seven equally large areas, with an ancient temple located where they all meet that served as a meeting place, now housing the HQ of the demon lords.

Digivolution: The Ultimate digivolution will be facilitated by crests and tags, same as the first season with the twist being the crests used are of negative emotions and character flaws. the challenge for the characters will be coming to terms with their quirks or turning them into strength. For that same reason, GMs may trigger a dark digivolution for your character based on the circumstances.

Rules

• The standard. You know the ones. If you don’t, consider not applying. Long story short: Use common sense.
• No lonewolf characters will be accepted. This is a roleplay, you’re meant to interact with other characters, people. If you want to write alone, go make a fanfic.
• Put the word ‘bacon’ somewhere in your character’s sheet.
• For your crests, pick one of the seven deadly sins. Your characters should exhibit this personality fault in some way (ex. Lust would be hard to do on this board, so you can have lust for knowledge, etc.)
• From the nature of the RP, there are 7 slots to be filled, 2 occupied by the GMs. There will be a waiting list to replace dropouts.

History:
As the middle child of a family of five Derek felt his parents paid more attention to his two siblings. Eventually he got envious of his older brother and younger sister, despite knowing it wasn't their fault.Because of this he started causing problems just to get them to "notice" him, mostly small stuff like lying or stealing candy.

In school this meant playing hooky not studying, or acting like the class clown, so that his parent would get called in ,or had to talk to him in an attempt to get him to stop. He refrained from bullying though, not only because he was affraid that is intended target might fight back, but also because bullies generally got punished worse.

When he was fifteen he created a youtube account where he posted generally bad movies in the style of more popular uploaders hoping that some of their fans would like it. This failed and he became known as a rip-of causing him to abandon his account and find some other way to get attention over the internet.

Personality: He can't stand it when others are the center of attention, this can lead to him doing and or saying stupid things. Other than he rarely takes anything seriously so he tends to clown around and ignore others. Derek can be a bit of a coward at times, but he won't abandon people as long as he feels he can help them.

Very worried about the lonewolf rule, although again, your profile doesn't necessarily display that quality so if you keep her in the loop, i suppose I could live with it. Other than that everything checks out. And of course somebody had to pick the creepy bunnies es an evo line xD

Now that I read your profile, I see I should have clarified a few things. I expected this to be first contact with the digital world and the characters not to have any prior knowledge, HOWEVER I suppose it can not hurt of your partners had some communication prior to actually meeting in the first few posts.

Also, an aesthetic thing that i noticed while reading Caelyn's profile, when going to the digital world think of it as season 2 - appearance may change according to the wishes of the character, so if he really wants that real sword, feel free to give that to him. Stay reasonable tho, I don't want to see humvees and stuff like that :D
