"Thank you." Chase replied with a small smile curved on her lips; but the smile lasted shortly as she heard shockwaves of bullets and smashes. Without pure intentions, Chase walked to the infirmary door and exited the place. Knowing that chaos is in the distance, she leapt up with the spring of her feet, landing on the roof of a four-story building.
She observed the three fellows waging hellfire against each other. Two men were armed with weapons, and a disfigured orc-like monster charged after them with relentless brutality. Suddenly, a familiar scent was caught in her nostrils; the same smell that came from her wintry coat when she woke up from the infirmary.
"Matt," she whispered, staring at the man whom she presumed to look like him. If there could've been any assistance she can acquire to the humans, she would use them to help strengthen their abilities, or help them defeat this monster. But she is not adept to this sort of skill, she's a weakling. If the vampire she met could help her, then she would develop the skills to fight with these mortal beings - and avenge the vampire who killed her Alex.
