I have no idea what you're talking about Terminal, but have fun with that.
@ImportantNobody That FFA sounds interesting, yet it may or may not be a cluster fuck cause of how many potentials we'll be fielding. Me, you, Khan, Melon, plus anyone else who shows up. If it's limited to the first few interested folk, a la the four-way right now, then it'll be less chaotic, I feel.
Ye gods that's both the four ways going on right now combined.
Could be a while though.

Not entirely sure if this is the right place to say it, but whatever.
Just thought I'd pop in to say I'm designing some new Battlegrounds, an area which seems to be lagging behind in terms of development in the wake of all the other forum updates. I have not settled on the final number, but I will be making anywhere between three and six new battlegrounds. All of them will be multi-variant and dynamic in nature, with specifically tailored/partitioned sections. Each once should be able to be used for one-on-one matches, team battles, free-for-alls, and more. Additionally, all of them will feature fully destructible environments (no arbitrarily indestructible setpieces) and consistent, non-linear topography (no arbitrary invisible walls). One or two will also feature scientifically accurate non-euclidean geometry (because if there's something everyone wants in their fight clubs, its loads of tedious scientifically accurate physics).
Each one will support standard Arena slugging matches, but will also have variant sets that will allow for battles of a different sort, particular in regards to fighters with drastically different approaches or whose matchup creates a vast power imbalance.
More to come. Thanks to [@GrievousKhan] for explaining internal arena mechanics to me.

Yeah, I'm just unsure why he had to announce it, anyone can submit Arenas if they want to, also I'm highly sceptical of someone not interested in Arena fighting making Battlegrounds, sort of like a gunsmith who's never fired a gun.
Honestly I can't think of a single Arena of significant note that I'd really care to fight in it again.
Eternal Battleground or whatever is probably the best, which I think Alpha designed.

Even if there was an issue on how much gravity increase it supposed to have back then. :p
...
I should really get around designing the actual battle god sometime. >_>

You can be the arena's new lazy slacker since Rilla has graduated from that position.Though the method was archaic at first Rilla slowly found himself getting the grasp of what it was to not be a slacker and understanding more of the theory put down by our forefathers. He thought about how about how to apply the things he had read about to his own abilities, and figuring out how to better utilize such things for himself. In short, he experienced the condition known as “learning”, and felt all the smarter for it.
Wow, nice to see you guys are still at it.
