The shocks are afoot it would seem....lets hope those powers stay on the elemental periodic table and don't reach for anything to do with electricity....otherwise this might get a little messy O.O

Many elements, especially gold, silver, copper and nickel are all wonderful conductors and likely to be "sparking" whenever they come into contact with a current.

@Scarlet Angel94, I do hope you'll refrain from using your powers to godmod and instantly kill anyone who becomes a threat. That's kind of a big no-no in freeform RP. I mean, you're already just below "completely unbeatable", considering how you can make almost anything with one of the most common elements in civilized history, and can freely extract it from anyone around you in ways that somehow manages to kill them (despite iron being present in trace amounts throughout the body relative to other elements).

I might just have to have Mahmoud whip him back in place when he catches up to them

@Earnest Evans It's simple science. Oxygen binds to the iron in hemoglobin. Take the iron out and the blood can't hold any oxygen and the person will die of de-oxygenation.

So, you're implying that @Scarlet Angel94 can manipulate and undo atomic bonds? Wouldn't that kill the victim through the absurd force needed to separate the iron from the other proteins long before oxygen deprivation can set in?

Dan you're probably the one in the shadows, since you last posted just following the group.

@4weekcoma Everyone is establishing their current where abouts and activities. I'm in NC, three of us are in NY, Central Park, apparently at least five characters are in Oxford, England all having a less than pleasant meet and greet. One is in, or just left the middle east for England, He's the main antagonist and is looking to recruit(/kidnap?) the characters in Oxford. Those are ones I can remember right off.

You're welcome to start anywhere you please, if you like you're welcome to be enjoying yourself at the mountain resort I run in Dark Ridge, NC. Or you can bump into the group at Oxford and make things even more ... chaotic?

If done violently, then maybe. Otherwise no, chemical bonds are made and broken by the billions inside of you as a natural part of living, this wouldn't be much different, except that all of your Iron is suddenly deciding to leave at the end of the reaction.

By all rights, it has little reason not to be violent. It is, after all, breaking every iron-based bond in the body. The energy released from such an act would certainly have an immediately noticeable and gruesome effect on its victim. If we're going to follow biology in the effect of this act, we should probably follow some semblance of physics in the definition of this act.

Actually, I'm gonna end this discussion right now before I leave for class. Jaden would not be able to manipulate hemoglobin and this is my justification.

1. The ability just screams power abuse and could easily lead to godmodding.

2. The scientific explanation. Hemoglobin is not iron, not any more than water is hydrogen or oxygen. Hemoglobin is mostly proteins, specifically one called Heme.
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/be/Heme_b.svg

As you can see, heme is very much its own molecule, and is mostly nitrogen, oxygen and carbon.

Ill elaborate later after class, but thats what ive got for now.
