I'm having a hard time figuring out why they'd open up for a guy that's heavily armed and armored, especially packing silver which Tony's going to smell as soon as the door cracks.

Well part of it would depend in how much they know of Autumn. She isn't exactly an unknown in the supernatural realm, doing work for the courts and keeping people out of legal trouble with her firm. Gray is with her and probably appears more as a body guard.

No. That's her secret. Purposely so she hides that and is only know as a human. Perhaps one of her past persona was compromised so she changed her appearance and identity.
