seriously, when did he start calling me Boss? How did I not notice that? connor thought to himself, before focusing his thoughts once more. He sat down, and put his own phone on speaker.

In seconds, he had hacked Into Flood's phone and put it onto video, so he could at least see something. Kryptonian. Clark, then. In anycase, his opinion still stood on that matter.

"You chose a bad day to try and collect samples, Lobo. There is this little thing could polite request. Rather then desecrating the dead, and also potentially ticking off a lot of people who are already royally ticked off, you should have requested a meeting. Stark industries still has interests and holdings in the academy, as does Luther, and now, I guess, Wayne's goes to his daughter. Explain why you chose to do this, and why you have just added more complications ontop of a whole pile of complications" Connor said, keeping weariness out of his tone, he spoke in a level voice, and he could have been in any number of meetings.

Lady Lobo

She listened but didn't seem to be paying much attention. Looking up at the ceiling she didn't seem all there. "Your planet, your problem. I came for something. Can't help that happened to be around the same time as a building got blown up by one guy." Taking a deep breath and exhaling she strained again to get her hands free. The metal groaned and creaked before twisted her arms slightly and the bolts gave. Taking the shackles she threw them at the wall as hard as she could to try and break it. That didn't work and the collar around her neck puffed a little gas in response. That tiny amount so close was enough to cause her to stumble and fall over on the flimsy chair which broke under her.

Not moving for a bit she eventually glanced at her still shackled feet. "Oh, forgot about those." Slowly getting up she held her head with one hand briefly to collect her thoughts. "I haven't been myself for a long time. How I look and how I act are a side effect of an unfinished process I was talking about. I wanted to help bring species back from the brink. But I made the mistake of trying to revive the Czarnians." Stopping again for a breather she pointed to a box that her things had been collected in. "Actually, just check my data pad. It will probably explain it better."

[Hidden Lilly]

"Daniel's already gone with my mother" Phoebe said softly, keeping her voice level, unsure when she would see her son again. As long as he was safe, she could survive. "Ryan will smell the food and be out soon" She said with amused caring in her tone, "So, lets go get some food now. We'll be better for it, and then...I don't know what to do next. I don't think there will be any clues at the school left, but the attck had to come from somewhere"

Makoto decided she would share what she had thought of thus far.

"I think we should contact Katherin to start. I don't think either of us know where she ended up last night." Makoto get up from the bed and habitually pulled the blankets straight to 'make her bed'. "We can see how she is doing and what she knows." Her situation with Estella pined for her attention in competition with her impending exams. "Maybe we can get here here with us somehow and make our group of friends an official group of sorts? Or we can contact other classmates we saw there and see if we can open up communication between all of us. Information would flow better that way... we should likely find out where the surviving students ended up last night as well." Makoto could have continued but she figured that was more than enough for a place to start. She quickly changed into her clothes from the day before and a new pair of underwear, never wanting to be dressed inappropriately in front of a male. Even if he wasn't likely to join them just yet.

"You are right about one thing though, lets go eat breakfast before we begin this day." Using a few elastics Makoto pulled her long blonde hair up into a messy bun, bits of hair falling out of place making it look tussled. She awaited Phoebe's cue to continue to the kitchen for food.

Flood shrugged and picked up the data pad she spoke of. "Whoa. WHOA! This is some crazy stuff!" He read through the information and grimaced. "Ouch. Now I get why you call yourself Lady Lobo." He quickly figured out how to copy the data and copied it onto his phone, which then sent the info to Connor.

Connor read the data quickly, pondering things, and trying to make sense of everything, but it didn't seem like the world made much sense. He put his phone down, putting it on speaker, so he could have his hands free, already opening the data once more on a tablet, but cursing under his breath as Ignot denied his access, insisting that he eat.

Why he programed the Ai to do that, he would never know.

He returned to his phone, and sighed, "Bring her in, Flood. I'll be at the office shortly"

Phoebe nodded, sitting down at she said "help yourself" but was deep in thought, as she buttered a piece of toast. "I could contact Kijjani, but if she had something, I'm sure she would have got in contact before now." And that worried her. Kijani typically had information, whether due to her own talents, or those that gave her information, such as Phoebe herself.

Sometimes, she couldn't just deal with baddies herself, after all.

"kalinda might know something too, given she's practically a spy. There's some others that might know some things, but...iff anyone knew anything, we would already know" of that, Phoebe was sure.

Kalinda watched the drama continue to unfold over the school grounds. It seemed incrediably tiring, and she decided she wanted nothing of it. If it couldn't help with what had happened here, then she didn't care.

So she followed reinhardt, June and Nicholas. It didn't take much effort to stay hidden, nor did it take much to listen in. Staying hidden, and sneaking about had become second nature to Kalinda.

So when Nicholas said ""SO is their a fourth member to our team?", she stepped out of the shadows. She spoke with confidence as she said, her tone leaving no room for argument.

"Yes"

KATHERIN

Katherin had decided that the best way to use her skills was to set up a temporary office. She could counsel those students that had survived. They were going to need someone to help them through this horrific event. It would also allow her a chance to offer her power to those that were determined to take a stand. She wasn't a fighter but that didn't mean that she would simply walk away. Not from this. She was going to make sure someone paid for this.

Kalinda sighed as she witnessed what was happening at the school grounds. She stood silent for a moment, before she said, in a carrying yell, "Will you all stop behaving like children? Students, teenagers, are lying dead in the rubble..." And then she realised there was a battle going on.

She sighed, frustrated, and pushed Estella and her opponent away from each other, but as Flood joined the fray, she growled in frustration.

She narrowed her eyes at the stranger, and sighed, shadows moving smoothly around her, as she took out her bow and arrows

Ryan of course was woken by the smell of the food. He got up and quickly changed into his Flash suit. He ran out of his room and appeared next to Phoebe. "How right you are ,beautiful. "He said quickly kissing His wife before nodding Makoto. He then sat down at the table. "So what's the plan? I could head to the lab. " He offered knowing he was more useful there.

Makoto sat down at the kitchen table with a tea and a cornmeal muffin. It was nice to have some healthier food as opposed to what the cafeteria offered at her university.

"We could contact them, see if they need help organizing information." she agreed, taking a sip of her tea. She burnt it a little bit but that was alright, it was far better than nothing. Makoto was always impressed with how Phoebe trusted their graduating class so implicitly. It was always a struggle for herself but unbeknownst to Phoebe, she always reminded Makoto that she could trust others outside her little clique.

Makoto still planned to call Katherin and make sure she was alright, then she would have to deal with her university and have a chat with Estella. It was a good personal list for the day but it was all about her. She didn't want to leave Phoebe and Ryan high and dry.

"Good morning Ryan." Makoto chirped with a small smile that graced her face when she didn't have her studying scowl on. "We were just trying to figure that out. We've thought of contacting the others and seeing if there is anything new that we have yet to hear of and maybe working with a few of the other graduates to see if we can team up. Do you have any ideas?"

Lady Lobo

"Sorry to disappoint you but I'm not going anywhere with you. I don't have time for this nonsense." Holding her breath she reached down and grabbed hold of the shackles on her ankles. Crushing them with her hands a bit she pulled and sheared them off. The thing on her neck puffed again and she reached up for that next. It came off without much effort but the gas filled the chamber.

In hindsight this was probably a bad idea. But it was a little late now. Moving to the barrier between them she gave it a solid punch. It shocked her and knocked her back. Not ready to give up she took a better stance and forced her fist through the barrier. Again it shocked her but she seemed to be ignoring it. Getting her two hands through she began to pull a rift in the barrier and which let some of the gas out. Stumbling free she smiled but lost balance, having breathed in more of the gas than last time. "Damn. Going to have to remember to fix this." Falling down to her knees she glanced up while she fought against the sleep.

Flood sighed and watched her struggle to escape. Then he began sweating slightly after she tore off her collar. Then he began to laugh as she tore through the cage. He pulled a small canister of sleeping gas off of his belt and held it to her face. He then pulled the pin and covered his mouth and nose.
"Not bad. You just took a pretty heavy dose of sleeping gas. But it's time to meet the boss." Flood watched as sleeping gas poured out of the canister and he dropped it onto the floor. He walked over towards the side of the room and pulled a gas mask off of a hook on the wall. He put it on and continued to wait for Lady Lobo to fall asleep.

Estella

Watches as Lady Lobo loses the fight to stay awake and crashes. It was interesting how chemicals worked differently with different species. While the gray skinned alien was highly susceptible to this particular gas she herself was largely unaffected. A headache was about as bad as it got which was more of an annoyance than anything. "Flood, I don't know what she was talking about earlier but I don't think I can take what she has to say about my people. You you ask her for me and tell me later? I'm going to stay here in case anything else happens or if Storm remembers anything." Mentioning Storm was a slip on her part. There were enough things going on without her bringing that up. Although having multiple mindsets was something that Flood would likely understand. Rubbing her head slightly Estella turned away.

To Nicholas' question June looked up at the ceiling. This was going to be a rough start to the group. "There is potentially one more. But we'll have to see how this turns out. Beyond that I'm not sure." Not a moment after saying that Kalinda appeared from nowhere. Had she been following them the whole time? If so that was impressive even if her powers did lend well to stealth. What's more she was volunteering for the team. "Really? Well... I'm not going to turn you down. But may I ask why you're so sure you want to join?"

Nicholas looked over towards Kalinda not being surprised that she came out of nowhere and was rather relived somewhat that she would be the fourth to their team.They would both be somewhat annoying to him but he could put up with June since she wasn't too annoying to him,"Then what is our next mission?" He asked June turning to face her.

Reinhardt adjusted his tie looking over to Kalinda,"Hello daughter of Raven..we have not been probably introduced..my name is Reinhardt Darkholme" He said to her.

"Later Estella." He picked up Lady Lobo and slung her over her shoulder. He walked out and rummaged through his backpack. He rigged a mask to release sleeping gas, using the gas mask and a few sleeping gas grenades he had, and fitted it over her mouth. He tied her up with some steel wire, and tied her to the motorcycle.
"Try not to move." He said to nobody in particular. He realized he had turned off his phone earlier when she was trying to escape and cursed. Connor wouldn't appreciate being cut off like that. He then got on his motorcycle and headed towards Connor's house. He arrived about twenty minutes later and rung the doorbell.

Phoebe smiled as Ryan joined them, but her thoughts soon turned to the day they would have ahead of them. There were more questions then answers, and Phoebe figured that there would be even more questions by the end of the day.

Once they had finished breakfast, Phoebe grabbed her phone, intending to ring Katherin herself. She had lost track of her, after everything that had happened and even if they weren't able to meet up, she still wanted to check in, dialing her number.

Kalinda looked to June, blinking, with a blank expression, pondering if she should answer or not. Finally, she said "Because I don't trust him" She said, nodding to Reinhardt, "And I'd rather be in a position where I can get information" She said, giving a shrug.

Connor had told Flood to go to the lab, but Flood did what Flood wanted. He had enough time to grab some toast, to have a shower, and to dress for the day, Suit on hand, and left a message for Kijani, answering the door, to Flood and the Lady Lobo.

"Great. Now lets go to the lab"

"Alright. We're taking your car. She nearly fell off my motorcycle like five times." Flood explained as he opened up Connor's car and dumped her in the backseat. "That's why I came here. Instead of directly to the lab like you ordered." Flood closed the backseat door and hopped into the passenger side. "Ready to go anytime."

Connor just nodded, getting in the car, and although he hated to do it, he called Ryan to head into the labs. While connor trusted his staff, he wanted other Meta humans around, just in case things got bad.

"We have to have some sort of meeting, I think. To help figure out what to do" connor said, as he drove to the labs, and once they arrived, he went directly to his private elevator, heading up assuming flood was following

Flood followed him all the way and carried Lady Lobo with him. Flood just nodded in agreement with Connor and looked at his watch.

Makoto saw that Phoebe was calling Katherin. Also having wanted to check in on Katherin she asked Phoebe to put her phone on speakerphone.

"That way we can both check on her?" Makoto asked hopeful, glad that her friend hadn't wandered away yet. Quickly, she finished off her last few bites of muffin. Makoto sipped her peppermint tea patiently.

Phoebe nodded, putting the phone in loud speaker as it rang, settling back, she waited for Katherin to answer, hoping that she was okay, and had managed to get home and rest some.

Connor went to his private lab, knowing ryan could get in, and to a room within the lab, which had a bed, and things for testing. While connor had never used the room, for anything, there was always the possiblity that someone somewhere would be in an accident and develop powers. Connor figured there needed to be a safe, secure place to make sure they were alright, and to help them, before sending them To the school.

"Put her down, flood"

This wasn't what connor wanted to do. But he would if he must. He'd rather be helping to figure out what happened. But didn't look like that was going to happen

Katherin was eating breakfast when her phone went off. She answered it. "Morning. How can I help you?" She hadn't looked to see who was calling. She hadn't wanted to make the person wait any longer than necessary. Just in case someone needed her help. With so much going on there wasn't time to waste.
