The challange in this is not picking the character, but to come up with a decent death scene that would go with the character. Still got 8 days, surely I'll e able to come up with something before the deadline.

I mean *trips and breaks his neck* is not going to make an exciting story.

So one death has been written; five more to go. UGH. At least I got the one I'm most emotionally invested in out of the way first, although it always kills me to write the death of my narrator, and that obviously has to happen last.

Of course, that makes me think of "We are the crazy kids" by the same artist, which makes me think of my conspiracy theorist friend who showed me all sorts of illuminati references therein.

I've... ran into an unexpected problem. I can kill my characters, no problem. What I found that I had to pause and really think about... is how do the surrounding characters react to death. I mean, the most I've ever reacted in real life to a death of a loved one is "Oh." with a little sting of bitterness. However, almost all those experiences of loss were of very old people, or the pet of a friend, or a former music teacher in a very specific case. How WOULD I react to seeing someone very close to me die, and more importantly, how would my characters react? I mean, I could just copy fiction and have these surges of sadness, anger, regret and other things, but the problem with that is that I do not understand them, which was never a problem when I watched them, but when I am to actually have surrounding characters REACT to the event? I got totally stuck. Hah.

I didn't have that problem, mainly because I didn't show anyone react to the death save for my character.

I finished my first draft—it sucks—but now that that's out of the way, I can completely rewrite it the way I actually wanted to with more confidence. It should go in either tonight or tomorrow.

Uhhh.
Welp, I got my entry in. Feeling like I went a bit over my head with it. Also I cheated and had the narrator passed out for three of the six deaths and too out of it to really react emotionally to any of them. But the three characters whom I favor most (him and the two others whom he watched, or rather listened to, dying) I wrote out the scene. Still cheated a bit, because the narrator had no visual information, only audio and tactile, and so I was able to gloss over some of it. It was more about what was going through his head.
Eh, we'll see if it works.
