I definitely never said a thing about a Marauder. The Intruder's been a CR90 from the outset.

The Intruder is a Corellian CR90 Corvette modified for piracy duty-- less cargo storage, more berths to accommodate a boarding party (the Liberators), as flush-fitting Katarn-Class shuttle for boarding actions, and a modified engine configuration. For kicks, we'll say the shuttle was redesigned with a rear-facing ramp/airlock arrangement because that's how it docks with the Intruder anyway; it fits on the underside of the ship.

It's been pressed into service as a privateer, which isn't that much different from piracy except that it has legal sanction from the Alliance, not that the Empire recognizes any such thing. CR-90's are modified all the time, and this is one of those times.

Thanks for the picture and wiki page. It gave me a lot more inspiration for writing :P

i've also decided that my character, without her armor and just in her jumpsuit, looks a lot like Nova from Starcraft(for those of you that know her), and even share the same hairstyle!

Roll call time; we're going to count casualties from the ambush and overall operation on the basis of responses to this. Or we'll grind them up in the next operation-- one way or another, it's time to sort of active from inactive.

@The Fated Fallen @ZeusTheMoose @Liono @Ruby @Zoldyck @Whiskers and @MonkeyBusiness are all assumed out unless I hear otherwise. Since the RP is moving forward, I don't feel it's fair to hold the active players up for the inactive. I'm not angry or annoyed, I'm just keepin' it moving here.

Once we have that straightened out, then we'll work on what various assignments are in the unit; Toland and Betuu are probably going straight to the LT's command element as his comms guys, since we sort of discovered that the battle droid has a use beyond simply killing things -- you can rely on a droid to quickly process and disseminate information. Probably is the ultimate forward observer, too.

Odds are, that speeder truck will be getting stripped down and turned into something improvisationally armored with mounted heavy repeating blasters or whatever they can salvage and pop on it as some sort of mechanized infantry support vehicle. Saleen and Ja'vi might well be assigned to that as gunner and driver after a degree of training for Saleen on how to actually fire accurately with a heavy weapon... ;) There will be infantry dismounting off that thing to fight or it's just a cargo vehicle with a gun. There will probably be armor and engine work involved and it's not for every operation, but they'll be moving more into doing more warlike things now that Slooga's little enterprise has failed.

after reading your post, feisty, i'm currently entertaining the idea that saleen might unwittingly be in possession of a lightsaber crystal amidst her jewelry collection, as she has a OCD when it comes to collecting anything shiny that she comes across ^^

I don't thinks she'd have something like that. (Crystals are heavily regulated under Palpatine's Empire, as far as I've read. EXTREMELY hard to get a hold of.) Though having Saleen angrily intrude while she disassembles her old Training Saber is always an option.

(Whether or not she would recognize it for what it truly is, is not known by me. But seeing small objects floating through the air guided by invisible means would certainly draw suspicion. Of course they'd suddenly drop once Saleen steps in.)

It's something a Hutt might be able to get through Black-Market means, but not something anyone else might have.

Yeah, I've been doing more research to insure I don't screw anything up like I did before. (Wookiepeedia, not sure how accurate their sources truly are.) She knows the difference between a Training Saber and a Normal Saber, but the Training can be used as the basis for the Normal in terms of building it.

She isn't injured, but it would be inconsiderate concerning that there ARE wounded probably coming in for treatment / surgery, etc. A little smack to the face is nothing to see the ward over.

yeah, i know they're super rare, so that's why I viewed such a thing as a freak chance that, although unlikely, could nonetheless be entertaining if it actually did happen xD

Yeah, that'd be an INSANELY HIGH freak chance though. You'd probably want to coordinate with the GMs on it. .__.;;
