[OOC] Lone Star (Sci-Fi/Space Exploration/Criminal) - Party Full

I've got this scene in my brain of Mez having tracked Marga down after she stole something for him (he's surprised a mere human managed to do that) and is demanding whatever it is back. Suddenly, the walls explode and a group of bad guys are there demanding their stuff back. "He's the guy you want" is what Marga says before buggering off and leaving Mez to deal with them. (It makes me chuckle). Again, how they then get to being together is unclear. Brainstorm for me please @SimplyJohn, you're really good at it :)

While pinned down by heavy weapons fire, taking cover behind a fallen piece of masonry and trying to work out a way he can get out of the collapsing building before getting crushed in the rubble, Mez spots a familiar looking shadow darting across the upper level. Even as he lifts his arm to take aim at the filthy little thief she suddenly leaps down, right into the middle of the attackers.

For the next few moments all he can do is watched in mesmerised amazement as Marga spins around between the uninvited guests, effortlessly slicing limbs and heads in a way which reminds the outcast Visipian of the dance performances he would occasionally attend with his 'father' while growing up. As his stunned gaze watches Marga's lithe form clear the head from the shoulders of the group's leader he can't help but be reminded of one particular dancer, and the hot, sweaty night they'd spent together, the night he'd first become a man.

With the last of her enemies downed Marga spins around, tossing a flimsy down into the rubble while blowing a kiss to the handsome alien she'd used for bait. "We work well together." She called over with a smile, slightly breathless from her deadly ballet, "If you'd like to see what else we could do together, give me a call."

Pulling her new goggles down over her eyes Marga turned and leapt out of the hole in the wall, falling several hundred feet before activating her grav-belt and floating out over the high-rise cityscape below, leaving Mez clutching the advertising flimsy for a seedy bat on the wrong side of town.

Wow... Very nice. Though less choppubg of heads and limbs and more taser ing and explosions :) I imagine when she saw him at the bar - "I knew you'd come."

This is in her earlier days, before she'd 'bought' the expensive gear she has now and had to srick with the fundamentals of mass murder instead. :)

A flimsy is like a flexible datapad. Think an iPad the thickness of a sheet of paper which could be rolled up and easily stowed between warm, voluptuous, welcoming... pocket seams.

Didn't he graduate summa cum laude in his training for slapping sense into people during critical mission? I'd have thought he'd have relished the opportunity to test his talents in the field. For what I've heard Marga certainly does.

I'm a professional writer with training in psychology. Whenever I work I tend to build up profiles for each character in my head and then let them play out the scene between them. Roleplaying like this is just good practice for my day job. :)

No, mainly my work is as a script editor and proofreader, mostly for online projects and such. Never actually been credited for the work, but the pay's quite good.

Was involved with plans for an online superhero comic a few years back where I developed the character of a bisexual cyborg superheroine with amnesia coming to terms with her sexuality and the revelation that she was a clone, which was a good challenge to write, but unfortunately the whole thing fell apart due to creative differences with the artists. ("For God's sake, she's A-cup. Stop sticking watermelons to her chest!")
