[IC] Secretly Super

Light lighted a Cigarette, with Black Fire. He walked around the water fountain and found traces of Bomb Parts. Someone intended to make a show, but this was just the opening act.
Light sighed. He activated His Darkness powers and made the entire ground of the city, only Super Humans would be able to see it. After he got a sense of everyone in the City, he deactivated this ability which he Called Ground Zero. He walked towards the nearest Super Human which was Mission.
"Well, Hello There, Were you here when the explosion occured Mr.Supernatural?"

Light approached Mission abruptly sort of drawing attention to him which he didn't care for but, that is why he wore the bandana. He shrugged figuring there was no use in hiding anymore, he flashed forward meeting Light, some people in the crowd gasped. "I got here about the same time as you," There was something about this kid, almost like he knew what he was doing which was refreshing in this city. And when Light let off that pulse of energy Mission knew he would rather be by this guys side then alone with the regulars. "This doesn't look like a Super's work" he said taking off his glove and touching some of the paint. He frowned trying again with the other hand. Nothing, now this didn't usually happen.

Mission put his glove back on and look back at Light out stretching a hand towards him. "Mission, by the way." He said trying to be polite. @branchofsin

Kyo arrived at the scene of the battle just as one of the two involved charged on the back of what appeared to be a very large cat. From the looks of things, this person actually appeared to be fairly young, perhaps even the kid his coworkers had been discussing in that bank robbery incident from earlier. While the cloaked man wanted to do something to stop the battle, with the way the two were going at it, he wasn't sure that he could use his ability on either without potentially rendering both unable to walk out of the situation. The kid seemed to be pretty powerful and with him charging like that...any distraction on either part would likely only prove more harmful to both than good. It was only moments until the flashily dressed teen had won, however, and it appeared that perhaps his appearance was never needed in the first place.

He didn't seem hindered at all by that blast...I wonder how long he's been at this. The man pondered the scene he had just witnessed as he slipped back into the shadows, making his way back to the shop in the hopes that he would arrive before anyone noticed his absence.

Once back in the shop and out of the costume, which he made a note to make adjustments to due to how it had slowed him down somewhat while running, he was a bit relieved to find that apparently no one had even noticed that he had left the back room. He shrugged as he looked around for his coworkers; sometimes, the near invisibility that seemed to come with near silence was actually a blessing. This wasn't even the first time he had found it so useful. Eventually, as he was helping to pick up the mess caused by the panic of all the people rushing in from earlier, he heard one of the girls behind the counter calling some of the other employees over. "My girlfriend just sent me a message about a weird explosion near City Hall! She says the whole building is covered in paint!"

Light shook his hand. "Name's Light Nox, Call me Light" Light said as he began to look around. If the person who did this wasn't Super Human then they must have near Superhuman intellect like Lex Luthor or Tony Stark. Light began to walk around in circles. "So, Care telling me about Yourself?" Light said intrigued as to why he wore gloves.

Mission pulled out another cigarette and lit it pulling down his mask with his back to the crowd. He looked at Light hesitant to tell him to much about himself, he didn't really know this guy after all. "About 50 years ago I had a life, and probably a family. The military decided to try to make a weapon out of me but it didn't entirely work in their favor." He took a deep drag of his smoke and exhaled. "So basically, Im a dead man walking. What's your story?" He said taking another deep drag of his smoke making sure no one could see his face directly, you never knew who was looking. Mission smirked, he supposed that's the price you paid for running so long. How do you figure if they're even still looking?

"Ah, Yes. Typical Military Experiment gone wrong. Well for me when I was 14, about six years ago, I always seeked to be the perfect medium of Light and Darkness therefore my Name. Anyways that drive, drove me to create an experiment to Give me the powers to be a Medium. Anyways the experiment worked, sort of. My Family was killed and I lost an eye. I think of that as an atonement. Anyways from that experiment I gained the powers of light and darkness, Life and Death, Nether and Aether." Deus said as he touched his eye. He sighed and grabbed his cigarette and burned it, making a Black Flame appeared on his hand sensing danger. He looked around alarmed.

Mission chuckled at the mention of death, something he seemed all too familiar with. When he saw lights reaction he dropped his own cigarette and stepped on it pulling up his bandana. He flashed to all four corners of the square but didn't see anything. "What's wrong?" he said not seeing any immediate danger. You never could know entirely what you were dealing with in this world anymore. He pulled out his phone and checked the messages for any updates on the city's situation. There was nothing there, but Mission had only been in the city for a few weeks now and Light was the only other super he had ever talked to here. His power was not something he'd encountered in all his years.

"I just realized something. If whoever did this Childish Prank just wanted to draw us out, or something of the sort, then it means that whoever did this intends to do something worst, and I get this feeling that he's going to do it soon. I have this kind of "Sense" it allows me to sense danger in the future. I call it the Emperor's Sense. I developed it after...I'm getting off track." Light began to hover in the air, looking around the crowd of people, sensing their breathing patterns. It seemed that the person who did this was close, but he didn't know the specific location.

Nikki parked her T-bird as she listened to the emergency bands hearing every department in city government panic at once. Something was happening at city hall and it was baffling everyone who was observing it. So she leaned back in her seat and allowed her mind to connect to the signals she knew were part of the massive camera network that covered the area.

She had to giggle when she saw the scene from a gathered mosaic of outside cameras. Then she began panning all the mobile cameras scoping everything in their visual reference ranges as she also sorted through the data signals for anything of interest among the sea of electronic noise.

Walt looked at the other heroes and hunched his shoulders.

"Okay so we're here because someone decided that a paint bomb as a prank would be funny. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do now?" he asked the other heroes as a cartoon large question mark appeared above his head.

Katherin was walking towards the third bank when she felt and then heard an explosion. She didn't know what that was. But she didn't know what that had been but it couldn't have been good. She pulled out her phone. But it was too noisy for her to work the voice activation. She made her way carefully into the nearest store. She was hoping to hear people talking about what had happened.

Sam saw on his phone that multiple heroes gathered in front of the city hall. Luckily for him the news helicopter recorded it all. Is it just me, or could this be a trap? he thought. He then saw a woman, a little older then him came into the store. She was trying something with her phone, probably trying to call someone. However, for some reason he felt like it was colder suddenly. Maybe because she opened the door to the store. Then something rushed through Sam. He didn't know what it was, but somehow he got more alert. He suddenly noticed stuff he didn't see before. He and the girl who just came in were the only ones in the store. Outside the streets were empty, as everyone was at the city hall, except for one man, that came towards the store. As he got closer, he looked a bit though. Sam also noticed he was carrying something underneath his jacket, but he couldn't see what.

When the man came into the store, he headed straight for the toilet paper, got a sixpack of it and walked with it to Sam, who was standing behind the cash register. "So that would be it?" Sam said. The guy was wearing sunglasses, so he couldn't make out his eyes. However, the thing underneath his jacket was gone. "That, and the rest of the money in the register." Sam was a bit confused, but as he picked up the toilet paper to scan it, he revealed that behind it the guy was aiming at him with a gun. "I said give me the cash, NOW!" The man roared at him. Sam got his hands up. "Please man, don't do this, this is my first day, and I already had a shit life, if I lose this cash, I will..." "Fuck this!" The man said annoyed. "...lose my job and-" Bang. Sam grasped at the place he thought he was shot. He didn't feel anything, but thought it was the adrenaline that made him endure the pain. Because he was still standing, the man now aimed for Sam's head. Sam eyes became big before... Bang.

Sam's head shot back, and he fell on the ground. In his last breath, he thought about why the man did this. Ofcourse, now was the perfect chance to strike, as everyone was distracted by the painted city hall. And after some seconds passed, Sam realised his last seconds were pretty long for someone who was shot in the head. He tried moving his arms, which worked just fine. He felt the place he was first shot, which still felt normal. He looked at it, and saw nothing like a bullet hole or even blood. He felt on his skull where he was shot the second time, and everything felt normal there as well. Then he saw the wall behind where he was just standing. Two bullet holes, in the wall. Right, I can let things go through me. He remembered. He got up slowly while hiding behind the counter, and saw the guy had turned around to face the other girl, and had let the shutters down, so no one could see them. Sam got a baseball bat that was lying behind the counter in case of robberies, and right now was the perfect time to use it. He whaited for the right time to strike.

A large figure walked into a drugstore. Judging from the persons size and physique, he seemed to be male, though it was difficult to tell due to what he was wearing. He had on a large and bulky beige trench-coat, and a wide brimmed hat of the same color. He wore shades and a cough-mask. Overall, he was very suspicious looking.

He stands nearby several medicines until it he begins to unnerve several customers. A nearby guard approaches him.

"Excuse me sir, bu-" that was as far as he got before the mans gloved fist collided with his face, sending the guard flying. In the same instant, the large man swiped several medicines and immediately ran out the door. At once two other guards came after him, but he was already too far for them to catch.

"Hey! Wait! Quick someone grab him! shouted one of the guards.

After having heard quite a bit about the paint explosion from what close to half the employees had streamed in on their various mobile devices, Kyo eventually was allowed a quick ten-minute break, during which he had planned to step outside for some air. Everything going on at once that day was already exhausting to him, and he could only wonder what the rest of the day had in store.

Unfortunately, he didn't even have time to drop the black and silver fox mask he had been fixing before there was another commotion outside. Moving quickly and grabbing another cloak from nearby, he ran out the back door to see if someone else was starting a fight dangerously close to the shop again. When he looked out from the alley leading to the street, however, he didn't see any fighting. Instead, an oddly-covered and very large person running down the street with cries for someone to stop him in the background. Was he a robber of some sort? Either way, he did seem to be approaching the area of the shop pretty quickly.

Holding out one hand in the direction of the supposed robber, the now-masked man focused on an image of a large wall to project into his field of vision. Hopefully, it would at least startle him enough to stop so as not to crash into it.

The large man unusually did not stop upon seeing the wall, but instead bared his shoulders to the side in what looked like a football tackle and ran straight through the illusory wall. He skidded a bit upon go through it, his momentum unstopped due to the lack of supposed wall, and he ended up running straight into a lamppost.

Said lamppost crumpled like paper under the force of the man's tackle. He paused for a bit to throw the post to the side before preparing to run away once more.

Katherin tilted her head. She knew something was happening but she wasn't sure what. She had been about to try her phone again when she heard gun shots. She didn't know how man people were in the store. She sent her ice through the store. It would feel like a cold breeze to anyone in the store. She was able to identify two men. One had to be the clerk. He was probably the one furthest from her. Which meant that the shooter was the closest too her. She frowned. She tapped her foot sending ice towards the shooter. With him in contact with the floor the ice would slowly climb up the shooter and would cover him until she stopped the ice. Which she planned to do before the ice covered his head.

Sam felt a cold breeze, and soon after, the woman tapped her foot, and ice started to go up the man's feet. It took both him and Sam some time to figure out what was going on, but they realised that they were dealing with a super. "I don't care if you have powers or not, I will kill you!" the man shouted. This was Sam's chance. He rushed from behind the counter, kicked the gun out of the guy's hands and as he turned to face Sam, he got a bat to the face, knocking him out. Sam walked over to the girl. "Are you alright, madame?" He know they were both supers, but they needed to take it slow for now.

Somewhat surprised that the large person would just charge a wall like that, even if thy were temporarily stopped by a lamppost, the cloaked man decided that perhaps a change in tactics was in order. Stretching his hand out again, he focused on a different sort of image to stop him: A circle of flame surrounding him. It would be a high wall, going at least to eye level, but there would be space for him to move around a few steps in any direction inside the circle.

The man paused for a bit, looking at the flames that encircled him, and then went back a few steps. The man pulled back his arms and clapped them together with a tremendous amount of force. The resulting shock-wave broke panes of glass in its way and blew away unlucky bystanders. He paused for a moment, as in his vision, the flame had yet to go away.

Suddenly the man said, "Wait, Ted, what flame are you talking about, I don't see anything," he said. "Its a fake! Someone's doing something to you! Just keep running!"

After saying that, the man barreled straight through the fire, this time ignoring it completely. A siren was heard as a single police car began approaching from behind.

Kyo winced and covered his ears at the thunderous sound of the clap, a bit upset at the damage it caused. If only he had come up with a better plan a little quicker, then there wouldn't be so much risk to bystanders. Letting out a frustrated puff of air, he ran out towards the back of the large figure and clapped his hands as well, projecting a much quieter version of the sound he had just made. As he did so, he projected an image of the suspect in front of him, making sure to avoid his sight by keeping behind him. He wanted to conceal himself using his ability, but it didn't seem wise to use up all his energy too quickly.
