Loki sat in his throne and laughed manically as Diaval watched him.
The next day, after the warriors disappeared into the cottage with the baby in hand, Loki, who still wore his armor and scepter, stepped out of the forest and approached the cottage, creeping into an open window. He looks inside where the baby Silena is in her basket, looking down at her coldly as the baby looked back at him. "Yeesh, it's so ugly, you could almost feel sorry for it", he commented dryly in disgust as the baby smiles at him. Hoping to frighten the child, he pulls a frightening face at it, but it just continues to smile at him. "I hate you", he said with slight disappointment. "Beasty", he added coldly. Loki then heard the warriors inside the cottage and decided to not be seen by them, walking away.
The warriors were perhaps unequal to their task
Loki covered his own ears as he kept hearing the cries of the baby. "It's going to starve with those three looking after it", he said in irritation, wishing the baby would just stop.
