History:
Edoric has no idea who or what his parent looked like, having grown up as a child slave on a pirate airship called "Kamula Nights" that made frequent outing to the Fog to raid trading ships. He and the other dozens children were treated like dolls, given very little food, shelter and clothes. Edoric would often have to fight his friends in pit fights the pirates set up. For the longest amount of time, he wondered by no one wanted to help them.
As the years past, Edoric saw the death of many of his fellow slaves; sometimes it was the weather or punishment, sometimes it was by his own hands in the underground fights. One day, after killing six kids in a fight, he broke down and hide in a corner. One of the pirates actually came to comfort him and gave him a book to read. Of course, Edoric didn't trust the man, but in due time, he opened up to him. The man taught him how to read, how to think and unintentionally, how to escape.
When Edoric was 10, he mounted a revolt against the ship's captain with his fellow child slaves and some of the more treacherous crew members. After killing the pirate captain, he took his sword as his own and burnt the airship to ashes, freeing all of those enslaved.
With the help of the older pirates, he and a few of the child who decided to stay with him bought a new, smaller airship to raid trade with, a Kobaya-Class ship called the "Dragon Sail". It seemed the Edoric was born to sail miles above the ground and be a pirate. By the time he was 17, the Dragon Sail had become a leading ship in a small fleet of like-minded pirates and a notorious raiding ship and tales of its crew had been spread far and wide. Although Edoric has been jailed before, he has managed to weasel his way out most of the time.
Eventually, Edoric had been transferred command as pirate by the previous captain, the man who taught Edoric to read, was dying due to wounds he suffered in a battle. That same battle would also claim one of Edoric's eyes. The captain's last gift to Edoric was the Black Cat's Eye which replaced his missing eye. Edoric has since then sold the ship (after stripping it of anything useful) and used the vast funds from raiding and gambling, he bought a Bune-Class merchant airship called the "Iberian Wedding". After heavily modifying it, he renamed it the "Chrysanthemum Throne" and has been pirating ever since, building a notorious reputation for himself with equal parts of awe and infamy with him and his crew that has grown much larger since then. At some point, he had also raised a small pirating fleet in his name consisting of two ship similar to that of his flagship called "Wondering Ronin" and "Red Banner", each with its own biplane resting on launchers. The Bune-Class also has an incredibly efficient weight-to-load ratio, allowing it to carry tons of stuff without its speed reducing. There are also over a dozen smaller ships similar to that of the "Dragon Sail" he once crewed in his youth.
As of recent, he has been more towards focusing his goals towards the exploring deeper into the Fog for the mysterious treasures that await him.

Personality:
Edoric is on the thin border between incredible, witty genius and absolutely fucking insane. He seems the be very sort of carefree with a tinge of cocky, he's almost drunken in some situations for lack of a better word, yet he seems to be perfectly sober. He is self-serving and surprisingly altruistic, most of the time. He does not consider himself above lying, cheating and stealing. Will also to try and make money in any situation.
He is one of the most notorious pirates and smugglers, having at least one enemy in every major port and city. He prefers to try and avoid conflict as much as possible. Edoric care little of what the people around him are or will do, although he does make quicks about this from time to time. He does adhere to the "Rule of Being a Gentleman Pirate", which consists of possibly hundreds of rules and guidelines that most people believe he makes up on the spots as many rules contradict themselves and some also have the same rule number.
Few things will ever truly piss him off. Slaves and inhumanely-treated workers anger him to no end, going off of his own "childhood". He will personally find the people in charge and kill them in alphabetical order with extreme prejudice.
