Artholath was hit head on, being blasted off the ground and into the wall, also potentially launching off anyone who had been on top of him. His aura of energy exploded, and since his form was only that of a clone, his souls was not present to leave.

Previously sustained damage, with the lightning hit, combined to cause all inner components of his body to explode, exploding cold air and magical essence across the entire chamber, with his body falling limply down the wall.

Karasuma felt the souls entering her body and she could feel her power intensifying. Her blade began to glow, radiating light energy that was almost bright enough to temporarily blind a person if they looked directly at her for too long. Eventually the glowing stopped, but she knew that the soul absorption was done and her power has increased by at least twice of her original power. "Yes, we are now ready to take her on" Karasuma telepathically communicated to Mayumi. "Let's go!"

Diego had been running for what seemed like ages. Did this monster ever tire? Why was it chasing after him? He didn't even have a weapon! He needed someone to help him!

Zeke barely manage to dodge Feon's attack and was sent flying into the ceiling of the temple. The collision hurted him pretty badly hut he'd survive. To tired to recover from the impact Zeke free fell to the floor And slammed roughly against the rough material of the temple's floor. It was possible that he broke a rib or two. Hopefully Feon would attend to him when she has the time. Marcy jolted in fear when Feon demanded her not to call her mom. The fact that Feon said this and felt a powerful attack to enemy is what frightened her. "Wow mom..Feon is so strong." Marcy said sheathing her battle axe and moving towards her father. She was worried but she had to stay tough to make her father proud. "F-Feon what should we do now?" It felt odd to call her mother by her first name but she didn't want to see the outcome of what would happen if she were to say mom again.

Feon gave a sigh of relief when she saw Artholath fall limp. Before she got a chance to rest though a bright light emited from his light. It then separated into smaller lights. One of them become six daggers that floated towards Feon. Another light flew towards Marcies axe which started to emit a faint holy light. Another flew towards Zeke, it healed him then seemed to improve on his gloves giving them the power to slay a demon god, and a queen of monsters. A voice then spoke to all of them as the goddess appeared again still in ethereal form. "Oh Heroes who have passed my test." She said as she floated towards the ground. "You have passed, if agree to defeat the demon goddess and her daughter I will grant you each one wish." The goddess said. "If you agree to these terms please step into the portal, if you do not, then you may leave through the doors." The goddess said as a portal opened revealing what looked like a white room, with a bed and couch.

Feon turned to look at Marcy. "I guess we accept the offer." Feon said as she grabbed the daggers that floated in front of her. Each one had an etching in it written the the language of the gods. (waiting room)

Vernika rushed at Mayumi. "You dead!" She said as she aimed a powerful attack at Mayumi.

"Yes, we are now ready to take her on. Let's go!"

Hearing the spirit's voice in her head Mayumi swung the blade up, surprised with how easily the large weapon moved, almost as if Karasuma was also putting her own energy into swinging the blade up to intercept Vernika's attack.

Karasuma locked with Vernika's blades, sending a shower of sparks cascading down over Mayumi before the archer kicked out with her foot, aiming for Vernika's chest, trying to knock her back so Mayumi would have space to move.

Vernika was knocked back and her blades had also been chipped a great deal from the attack. When Vernika reverted her hands to attempt to cast another spell she found that her arms were bleeding from the damage. At this point she was still enough for one more attack as her arm's were being reformed. Vernika was also a bit shocked by the power she had just witnessed.

"I hope you're ready for this," Mayumi whispered to Karasuma, lifting the glowing blade above her head. Quickly darting forwards she swung Karasuma down with all her strength, the mystically charged blade sweeping through the middle of the abomination's body, slicing Vernika in half as Mayumi smashed into her.

With the two pieces falling on either side of her, Mayumi landed in a roll which brought her back up onto her feet, facing towards her fallen foe with Karasuma held levelly in front of her eyes, prepared to defend against the next attack.

Vernika was cut in half. Her eyes wide open as she both halves of her body fell to the ground limp, both devoid of life. A glowing light rose from Vernika's limp body. The light went towards Karasuma and entered her body, allowing the blade to become more majestic and powered with holy power.

A voice then spoke to all of them as the goddess appeared again still in ethereal form. "Oh Heroes who have passed my test." She said as she floated towards the ground. The goddess said as a portal opened revealing what looked like a white room, with a bed and couch. Feon was already there laying on the bed spread out with her other arms still attached.

Lance meanwhile heard a ding from the machine that was creating the bodies of his wife and child. It meant that they were now settled. "It's finally ready." Lance said with a smile. "Lilith and Scylla are finally going to come back to me!" Lance said his eyes wide open and a sadistic smile on his face. "Apply the souls!" Lance commanded Artholath as he moved the bodies closer to the ground.

Artholath gave a little smile, which was easily lost on his demonic face. He had an idea... the souls as they were didn't quite pass the level of being completely demonic. If he put in a little more than just their souls... but a little of his own... then they would be fully demonic in nature.

With this in mind, he stepped between the bodies and inserted the souls as he had done with the others, at the same time letting little portions of his own go, something which was a little visible as he strained to release just enough to get the job done. He stepped back and watched when he finished.

Without even needing to consider the options Mayumi stepped forwards proudly. "Oh Holy One, I need no reward for serving one such as yourself, only that I be allowed to vanquish evil wherever it may rear its head." Having said her piece the archer stepped boldly through the portal and into the white room without a moment's hesitation.

Glancing over at Feon for a moment she considered the stranger, recognising her as the one who'd revealed the evil one Diego to her. The girl's scars were old and a quick examination with her practiced eye saw no immediate risks to her health, and yet she was laid out on the bed with so many arms wrapped around her.

She's probably tired, Mayumi thought, considering her own weary state after having battled the abomination wearing a holy form, perhaps it would be a good idea to rest for a while. Moving over to the couch Mayumi lay herself down and a moment later was snoring softly.

Karasuma returned to her ghost form and felt exhilarated. She never felt so...alive for a someone that was dead. She had entered through the portal with Mayumi and saw Feon laying on the bed. She was a bit concern so she approached her but was unsure whether she should disturb her rest or not. So instead she turned to Mayumi. "Thank you... you are a very capable wielder," she admitted shyly but then she discovered the archer was already asleep... Well, this was awkward, considering she did not need to sleep. So she just sat there in silence.

Delios ran after Dieago still. "Come back Noisy man!" He yelled as she tried to punch him whenever he got close enough. The area had pools of lava every now and them. A few times Delios almost lost balance and fell into one. Delios eyes were still glowing read, though now you couldn't even see his eyes, a truly terrifying sight.

Usually Zeke wouldn't think twice of ignoring the demands and offers from a goddly like person but this was different. If it wasn't for this lady he could of died from his wounds. When the daggers restored him back to his prime and upgraded his gloves he stood and walked towards the door. "Made it this far might as well finish what we started." With that he entered the waiting room and rested on a bed.

Marcy again felt uncomfortable in the presence of the mysterious goddly being. In order to not cause a probably she stayed quite and held her position as if the goddess before her was gonna become hostile towards her. After hearing her parents agree with the goddess Marcy had no choice but to follow their orders and help them. "In you guys say so..." She whispered to herself sheathing her Axe and following her parents into the waiting room. She didn't want to interrupt a grown ups conversation but she didn't understand what was that holy light that was radiating from her axe earlier. She decided to ignore it for now and relax with her family.

Lilith slowly opened her eyes and so did Scylla. They looked around the room to see the world they were in. "Finally." Lilith said with a smile. She then looked down at Lance who was estatic to see them alive again. "It's good to see you, Lance." Lilith said as she walked towards her husband, cloths just appearing on her as if they had always been there. The same happened to Scylla. Lilith went to embrace Lance, then opened her mouth wide revealing sharp teeth. "We need a meal!" She said as she ripped Lance's head off with her teeth. Lance died without another word, only shock in his eyes. Scylla jumped in shortly after as a dress appeared on her as well. Scylla started to rip open her fathers chest and grabbed his heart at while eating it. It was quite the site to see the creations eating their own master. Due to him being the only edible meal around they saw no use for him.

After a few hours of everyone resting another portal opened, this one directly pointed to somewhere in Lances now former lab. Feon stood up and started to head inside. "We can end this, finally." Feon said to the others. "I hope your all prepared." Feon said to them as she grabbed her daggers ready for battle. The portal was in the lower part of Lances lab, he and his family were at the top.

Stretching her arms up over her head Mayumi rolled off of the sofa and onto her feet. She felt like she'd been asleep for a month and her spiritual energy was brimming over. Unless she found something to shoot soon she'd have to perform a purging ceremony to prevent the demon burning her up inside.

Glancing over to where Feon was standing Mayumi was a little surprised to see her beside a bed where Zeke was now resting the sheets disturbe in such a way to show the two had shared the bed together. Turning her head away with a grin Mayumi decided not to question the mating habits of these strangers, for all she knew the two of them had been pair bonded in much the same way as her own parents were.

Sighing to herself sadly Mayumi wondered if she'd even have a chance for a relationship like that, but a moment later the pain from her wrist spiked up her arm and grabbing it she turned to her companions. "I need to burn off some energy, and soon. Is there a place where this can be done usefully, or at least safely?" She said through gritted teeth, bearing down on the pain as best she could.

Artholath watched with a stare that would resemble a raised eyebrow in his human form as the wife and child that he had spent many years to revive ate him. The irony of this... He stood at attention, as he distinctly detected signs of magic coming from the portal room.

"Lets!" Zeke responded his gloves activating and radiating yellow. He followed Feon through the portal. This new surrounding was breathe taking in the eyes of a scientist but Zeke had to ignore that for now. As of now his Kain objective was to defeat Lance's wife and daughter. Marcy jumped up and whipped her Axe out as if she was preparing for a surprise attack. She calmed down and cautiously followed her parents through the portal. She payed close attention to her new surroundings and stayed close to her parents.

Feon looked around the lab, however she saw no one, atleast she didn't think she did, until she saw a demon like Gargoyle statue come to life and try to attack Mayumi. "Now's your chance!" Feon said to Mayumi with a smile as she defended against another attack from yet another demonic creature. Feon soon retaliated against the beast sending it flying backwards before she lunged at it and stabbed it in the chest with one of the daggers before it had a chance to breath. Other demonic creatures launched attacks at the others in the group as well.

Lilith in the mean time turned to Artholath after she and scylla had finished eating Lance, there was only a skull of him left now. "That's better." Lilith said with a smile the symbol on her head glowing far more brightly now. "So tell me whats the best way to take over this pathetic world creature?" Lilith asked Artholath. As she said this Scylla had one of her wolf snake hybrids next to her. It was connected to her back though she hadn't unleashed the other three yet. The wolf snake moved away from Scylla and started to sniff Artholath with a snake like tongue.

Delios in the meantime was still chasing Deaigo, a portal appeared infront of them both, as it lead directly to the battle in Lances lab.

Artholath was secretly excited. This was the opportunity of ten human lifetimes; the reason for his existence. He heard the crashing of battle below.

"The simplest means would be to release the demons of the nearby volcano, just a little ways from here. They will be more than happy to create the chaos you need to take what you wish from the remains..."

"I suggest moving quickly; to break that spell requires considerable concentration and no distractions. There is an exit on the side; if you wish, I can distract the enemy downstairs so that you may work on that goal."
