Giichi Uzumaki

It was almost certain that death would take him and in that moment, he realized only one thing. That he was too tired to dodge it. His recklessness with the Rasengan had costed him his life. It was not enough for him to have made the battle easier. He was a idiot for not thinking ahead.

When Yamato crashed into his gut to drag him out the way, the pain that raced out to his sides and chest was suffer-able. He coughed once or twice before standing to his feet on the branch and gazing out towards the sunset drenched field. Hues of orange and purple flooded the sky and gave the cratered grassland a mysterious atmosphere.

Giichi looked on with a fearful amazement, his mouth parted slightly and his body still tense. The intensity was soon chased away by Yamato's command. He wanted to argue that he could handle it, that at the time he had no other choice … But he knew it had been a mistake to use it back to back. Even now, he could barely catch his breath to respond.

I- I know.” Was all he said, though his blue eyes were stony, boarding defiant. If not for Yamato's actions, he would be dead. That meant there was cause to heed his words, even if they came out a bit harsh.

Just as he believed that Yamato would condemn them to failure, four, utterly spectacular, words left his mouth. Words that, though they didn't fall out proudly, spoke volumes. Giichi, with his hand in his pocket and a smirk on lips, looked towards Rei to see her reaction. As he thought, she beamed with appreciation. Playfully, he shook his head before looking, more or less, at the two Minamoru before him.

I've got some hurdles to overcome if I want to be Hokage one day. These two … they're amazing.

As they trailed back to the village, Rei and Yamato spoke on private matters. One that he didn't feel inclined to speak or ask about. In fact, he knew it all too well. While his parents weren't so keen on the idea, other prominent members of the clan had been pushing for an arranged marriage. He shivered at the thought of them having their way.

Closing the distance even further, he let his voice reach the two Minamorus. Quick question, what do you think that “Bravery” greeting was all about? It was pretty eerie and I'm a bit worried about it,” he mentioned thoughtfully.

Daiki Naito

He gritted his teeth furiously as Aoi planted her kunai into the man's heart. The elderly released a dying breath before falling, his legs toppling against the floor with lifeless thumps. Tsk! was all that slid between his teeth.

What was the feeling that grasped him now. Was it regret for not reacting quick enough? Resentment towards Aoi's hasty actions? Or … no, he knew what it was. It was the sour taste of being cheated. She had gotten her way. Though her words flittered between her natural goofiness, in the end, all her meanings had led to a quick death for the despaired man. The easy way out was not always the best.

But who am I to talk. A Naito who leaves behind comrades in order to ensure a mission's success? His golden eyes dulled that moment, his mouth straightened out. An Uchiha … He fitted a cold look onto his face as he answered Aoi's request.

Right.” he answered and waited for the others to leave.

Once gone, he bent down to the dead man and sympathetically fixed him onto the mat. No longer was he in the crumpled position that he died in. Now he laid straight with his arms at his side, eyes closed and face oddly peaceful. He smiled while dying. Crazy old fool.

The silence in the room was broken by his intake of air. His chest puffed before he spewed out the flames of his jutsu. With a small turn of his head, he lit aflame the entire room and ceased the flow. His lips singed with heat as he bowed ever so slightly to the poor man's corpse. Sullen, he stepped out with the roar of the house-fire behind him. It'd burn nicely for awhile, even with the downpour.

He passed by Aoi with only two words. It's done.” And continued on towards the beaten path towards Konoha.

Rin Reikan, Little Ice Minx

Simply staring at the sky, Rin saw the dark-grey clouds that hindered the natural blue clouds of it. The rain fell to the blood-soaked ground of the village. She couldn't help but think of how her clan's connection to the Blood Mist Village and her sudden change of heart to not kill that man after Daiki had spoke some very true words. She was ready to kill that man without even so much of a second thought. If this were the Blood Mist Village, she would have been ostracized for not killing the man with such a cold volition that it made her seem like a demon of some sort.

Turning her head slightly at the sound of the door of the teahouse opening, Rin saw Aoi come out. The colorful-dressing chunin had simply told not only her but Doto and Haruka nearby to back away from the teahouse. It seemed that she had ended the man's life and Daiki was finishing up the process of cremation for the old man's body. Rin did as instructed and she saw the teahouse start to show signs and effects from the fire. The blaze stood out in the monotonous atmosphere like a sore thumb.

It wasn't long after the house had been set ablaze that the trek back home would begin. Rin followed in silence. She didn't have any words to speak, but there was also the fact that Doto had been pretty shaken up about the whole ordeal. Rin knew that the one-year-older-than-her genin couldn't take the dark truths of the shinobi world. It's not like Rin has a lot of room to talk, but she at least understands what needs to be done. Granted, she couldn't go through with the killing, but she at least understands it. Doto, on the other hand, couldn't, or maybe it was that he wouldn't. He still had the idea set in his mind that everything should be all hunky-dory. She actually admired him for that. Even though he was annoying as all hell, she admired that innocent and positive outlook he had on life.

"So, that was it," said Haruka quietly to himself, watching the house burn as flames licked its sides. It was a necessary duty, but he wished that it had not been so hurtful for Dotorame to experience. Watching another person die was always painful, especially if it was one's first time encountering the suffering that was involved. In a better world, they wouldn't have had to let the old man die, but that was the only choice they possessed in the situation they had found themselves in.

The green-haired chunin sighed as he turned his attentions to the road back to Konohagakure. It had seemed so relaxed and simple and first, but the mission had turned truly sombre in the end. All this pain and suffering, and there was nothing to truly show for it. No paycheck, no positive experiences, nothing. He always had seen himself as a responsible figure, but he was dreading writing his mission reports. It would be depressing, revisiting everything again.

...

He did not feel like returning home.

...

Shaking his head, Haruka allowed his instincts to take over, letting his mind wander as his feet crunched against the gravel of the rocky earth below him. It was time to trek back to Konoha, no matter how distasteful he would find writing the reports.

He surreptitiously glanced at Dotorame, noting the downcast figure of the young ninja.

They may have been ninja, but a world where children had to suffer was not a world he truly cherished.

Shina Maru, Topaz

When Paneru and Sentou caught up they noticed something that Shin hadn't. While he was focused on the combat ahead he failed to detect the trucks nearby. "Oh," he noted aloud. After looking back to Yamato's fight, to confirm that he had finished what he started, Shin concluded that he didn't need his Jade Crystal Blades. Almost the instant that the crystal blades on his arms shattered into fine dust, Paneru also pointed out several people running away. Damn, he thought, feeling that he had wasted his chakra completely. Before he could give chase, Yamato finished his fight and spoke up, suggesting they stop gawking at his fight.

While this would be at the least irritating to most people, Shin casually brushed the mean words aside. He crouched down low, preparing to take a sprint after the escaping thieves, but Paneru's distress over opening the truck doors reached his ears. The black-haired teen looked over at Sentou. "I'll help him get the drivers to safety. You can go zap those guys," he suggested before jumping away. If Paneru wasn't paying attention, Shin landing next to him may have been a surprise. "Stand aside," Shin told the feminine boy, taking hold of the door handle with both hands the moment Paneru would release it. While Paneru was thin and petite, Shin Maru was much larger and had significantly more muscle.

The door didn't stand a chance. With a grunt of effort, Shin entirely ripped the door of its hinges. The door flew into the air, as Shin let go the moment it was out of the way, and it crashed down onto the ground several meters behind the truck. "Help these guys to the ground." Shin leaned into the truck, grabbing the men one-by-one and handing them to Paneru. It didn't cross his mind that the boy would find difficulty in carrying these fully grown men to the ground, he just assumed that Paneru would do it. "Then you can do your thing and make sure they're okay. I'll go help Sentou once we take care of these guys."

Arc 2: Ronin Takedown? Surprise Visit!

With their mission concluded, Aoi, Daiki and Haruka went back home, followed by Rin and Dotomare. The mission had been a success, but had it really been? They hadn't received payment, and it seemed Dotomare had lost hopes of becoming a shinobi. It just wasn't what it seemed. As they arrived back in Konoha Dotomare seemed to head straight to the Hokages office to file for a removal from the shinobi position. Likely, he'd spend years working in the supportive administration now, or become a medical nin. Never the less the plan for the scroll retrieval missions was still on - team Megumi would still need to investigate in the land of Iron regardless of the team being incomplete. However, the Hokage seemed pleased with the progress that team Aoi had made, commending her for her efforts in bringing this mission to an end - ofcourse, he didn't hear much of the details where they killed the man because he wanted to. It was self defense. As such he rewarded team Aoi with commendations and a bit of money from his own pocket. Furthermore they were instructed to prepare for the coming mission, where Aoi would be joining Yamato and Nobunaga, lead by Tsukiko, where as Daiki and Haruka would be placed in the same team again under Ayame.

As for team Yamato, the Hokage was also pleased with their progress although the indicators that there were spies snooping around in the land of fire seemed worrying. Never the less Rei and Giichi were both commended for their actions, helping Yamato take care of the shinobi. They received a positive marking for their high school classes, that they had to attend 2 days a week unless otherwise called for by the Hokage. It seemed now was such a week, as they'd be leaving on a mission soon. Yamato was informed of the team he was in. It seemed he got stuck with Nobunaga and Aoi, as well as Tsukiko. Lovely. After that Rei was informed she'd be heading back to school, while Giichi was asked to rest and prepare for the mission that would take place in two days. He would be placed under leadership of Megumi Tanpopo, the Dandelion Seed, along with Rin and a yet to be named other shinobi.

As for team Shin, with Sentou and Paneru, their mission would ultimately be conducted in a succesful manner, and a report was to be given to Ayame, who thanked them for their efforts. It seemed she was right in asking Shin to make the report - it was a solid report, and she had doubts that Sentou would be able to do it in the same style. As soon as they'd try to walk off, Ayame would interrupt them and tell them to prepare for an excursion to outer lands in 2 days. “Sentou, you're in my team. Shin, Paneru, you're with Fujitora, my brothe. Take care of him, Kami knows he can't do it himself.” she'd tell them with a wink, to denote it was a joke. After that Ayame would vanish right before their eyes with blinding speed, as she was headed for the hospital.

Upon arrival she once again paid a surprise visit to Jaakuna. “I see Paneru has taken good care of you. But you'll need to get up now and get ready to leave in two days. You'll be under command of Fujitora, along with Paneru and Shin. Get a move on.” Her usual smile had made place for a serious look, as this mission would depend on the recovery of all the scrolls. If one team failed, it was possible the samurai would see it as an aggression on part of Konoha, and attack. She left him with a short nod and vanished again, quick as lightning, headed for a large appartment building.

With quick jumps Ayame arrived at the building, landing at the bottom of the tower before jumping up and using chakra at her feet to allow her to climb the building. If she remembered correctly.. 37T. She continued on her way up to floor T, before heading to room 37. Ah, this was it. With some quick sleight of hand she opened the kitchen window, which overlooked the city of Konoha, and entered through it. Takeshi oughta' lock his room better. She walked into the living room and saw nothing so continued into the bedroom. Perhaps he was sleeping.. he had vanished from the hospital after all, perhaps he had just walked here in a daze of craziness and slept on here. Something caught her ear however. Something about farts. She walked in completely and only found Takeshi with an unknown woman. She kept a straight face however, this wasn't the first time she'd walked in on something intimate.. atleast, it appeared intimate. “Takeshi! Attention!” she yelled at him, no doubt surprising him. She had moved silently like a cat, a trained assassin after all. “You got out of the hospital and I hardly care how. Get ready to leave in 2 days, you're going with Hideyoshi Sawada, together with two newcomers - Saburo and Akio. At ease, Takeshi!” Her voice was loud and clear, and without waiting for an answer she left again headed for the kitchen, jumping into the windowsill and jumping away. She had bussinesses to attend to.

2 days later - Hokage square, in front of the Hokage's office complex

Ayame Choko, “the Sewstress”

8:15 AM.

In front of the Hokage's office all the respective jonins had gathered. There was Ayame, Fujitora, Hideyoshi, Tsukiko, and then Megumi. They had gathered in a standard gathering formation, standing in a line with atleast some space between each of them. As soon as everyone of the chunin and genin had arrived Ayame would speak up. “LISTEN UP! Today we'll be going after some scrolls that were stolen from the land of Iron. A ronin there pretended to be a man interested in samurai training, giving up a life of technology and joining the ranks of the samurai, who detest technology. We'll be acting without acknowledgement of the samurai's to retrieve the scrolls, so this is a politically sensitive mission too. If we obtain the scrolls we will hand them back, naturally, in an attempt to reconcile the relations between Konoha and the land of Iron. Now form up!” Her voice was loud, and almost as authorative as her brother's title was. Ayame was taking this mission seriously, as it offered a chance. A chance at appeasing a certain someone, to show them that Ayame was strong. As such she had a grim, serious and emotionless expression on her face.

As soon as the chunin and genin had formed up in respective teams, she'd walk to the most right jonin. From the right to left, the jonin were lined up from Megumi, to Hideyoshi, to Tsukiko, to Fujitora and finally, respectively her own team. She'd raise her hand in the air, then point her open hand at Megumi. She was going to go through the process of explaining each teams respective tasks and goals.

“Team Tanpopo! Your task it to infiltrate the Village hidden in Swords, a new village created by samurai, and to uncover info about the ronin we'll be chasing. Act with utmost care, if you get caught, the entire mission shall be jeopardized!”

She'd take a few more steps until she'd stand in front of the chunin, and in front of Hideyoshi. Once again she'd raise her hand and swiftly point it at Hideyoshi. She raised her voice once more and looked Hideyoshi in the eyes, with a serious stare.

“Team Sawada! Your task entails tracking down and obtaining the Scroll of Heavenly Armor! It's uses are known to Konoha, so you may not open the scroll to win information for us! Do not jeopardize the mission! The scroll is said to be in hands of the Korenato Yakuza clan, whose ranks are filled with Ronin like the one that stole the scrolls! Be careful, no lifes may be lost today! Your target is in Kumogakure, and we have obtained permission to engage and eliminate the threat.”

Per standard she'd continue towards the next jonin, which was Tsukiko. Her task was similar but different from that of team Sawada. She raised her hand high in the air and lowered it again in the direction of Tsukiko.

“Team Umene! Your task is to obtain the Scroll of Heavenly Steel! We already know the contents of this scroll, and as such you are also not permitted to open the scroll! Your objective is moving, and as such you have been selected Tsukiko. The scroll is in hands of the travelling Fushido Yakuza clan, who are currently wandering in Sunagakure, in the desert. They have shinobi in their ranks so exercise care, but hit them with extreme destruction!”

She moved on to Fujitora, standing right in front of him and looking at the chunin. She seemed to ignore Fujitora on purpose. Perhaps for a reason, perhaps because she knew he already knew what he had to do. Regardless, she'd raise her hand and point at the chunin.

“Team Choko #1! You are to track down the third scroll, the Scroll of Demonic Faces! Konoha has never heard of this scroll, and there was no record of this scroll in the library, so don't open it because it could be a fake scroll. Don't get trapped. Fujitora knows where to go, I'll leave it to him to instruct you.”

She continued on her way and stood in front of the team she was supposed to be leading. She put her hands in her sides and looked at her own team.

“As for team Choko #2, we'll be following the Ronin! Our mission is to take him down and capture him to extradite him to the land of Iron, with a secondary mission of obtaining a large scroll he has! This scroll is a summoning scroll for Kawarigimi, a sacred samurai sword that is owned, or was owned, by the Samurai lord.”

With a final glance over the teams she let out a final command. “MOVE OUT.”

As for team Choko #2, they'd be headed for the Kannabi bridge, a bridge that has recently been rebuilt by Iwagakure shinobi in an effort to improve the logistics between Konoha and Iwagakure. If they headed here, they'd be able to intercept the team. Before departing, she shot Sentou, Daiki and Haruka a short gaze before jumping off, in a pace they'd be able to follow for a long time before they'd need to rest. During the travel, which would take a few hours even at shinobi speeds, she'd brief them on her strategy plan. “Listen up. You're chunin now, and you have nothing left to prove. There will be no glory-searching under my command.” As she said these words she looked at Daiki and Sentou. Haruka didn't seem like the type to be that way. “More over, that means we'll act like a team. Nobody will go off on a plan without inquiring me, and the others, first. Understood?”

She asked a question but didn't wait for a reply. The answer was 'yes' and she knew it. Moving on quickly, jumping from branch to branch, she continued without even looking back at them. “As such that means I have made a strategy for our 3 man cell. First off, we will use stealth to hide until we get an opportunity. I will then throw senbon at him, and poison him. The poison I've prepared for this mission should slow him down considerably, but it won't be fatal and it won't knock him out either. It destroys the connections between the muscles and the brain temporarily, slowing him down. After that we can chase him down until he is tired. Are you with me?”

As soon as the three man cell behind her had answered, she'd continue with her explanation. “Daiki, Haruka, you are in the blocking squad. As soon as I give the command, you will dash forwards and get in his way. Make sure he won't get past you. Sentou, once they keep him occupied, you will get behind the ronin and block his escape. You have to use chidori, but you need to aim for his leg. This will allow us to capture him and take his scroll, after which we can extradite him to the samurai in hopes of them acknowledging us again.”

Her voice was that of a true commander, serious, firm and easy to listen to. There was also a hint of authority in her voice once again. “Questions?”

Yamato Minamoru, “Young Master”

Yamato had arrived precisely on time, jumping down from a building that surrounded the square in front of the Hokages' office. He quickly got in line with Tsukiko, looking bored out of his mind already. He put a hand in his flak jacket pocket while looking around, trying to see who else would arrive. As soon as Nobunaga and Aoi arrived he'd look at Tsukiko. She was.. pretty. But that was about all she looked like, to Yamato. Obviously they'd be waiting for some time, and he felt like he should say something to Tsukiko as Yamato had never met her before, and had only heard things about her. “Yo.” he said, calmly. He didn't feel particularily impressed by her, even though he had heard she was quite impressive. She didn't look impressive. She didn't look like anything at all.. had the Hokage promoted her for her tits? Seemed like it.

“I'm Yamato Minamoru.” he continued as he looked Tsukiko in her eyes, looking rather bored as always. “Can we leave already?” His words had the characteristical aggressive and rude undertone that they always had, almost as if he spat the words out rather than said them. “If you want, I can even co-lead the mission for you.” he added, making it sound like he was volunteering to be side captain. Mumbling to himself he added on, however. “I'd probably do a better job than miss Titty over there, anyway.” Yamato was obviously not in a good mood today, but then again was he ever?

As Ayame explained the mission Yamato couldn't help but notice that something had changed about Ayame. She seemed more serious and.. saddened? It wasn't the correct word, but it felt like she was. Somehow her happiness had vanished, a change that Yamato could appreciate. The world wasn't a happy place, so people didn't have to pretend to be happy. The mission seemed to be simple. Kill some guys, get a scroll, rendezvous with Ayame to extradite the captive and the scrolls. It was easy.. did they really need 5 full teams for this? “Ah, Tsukiko.” he said once Ayame was done and had gone off with her own team, omitting the honorific. “Seems Ayame prepared for this mission. Do we have some stupid procedure you want us to operate by, or can we just go and kill some guys.” The question wasn't really aimed to be a question, it was more meant to test if Tsukiko had actually done her homework and constructed a tactic for the team. Yamato was guessing she didn't. But because of the nature of the question, his words came across hostile and rude, and aggressive for no reason, too.

Saburo Uchiha, “Kimyōna”

Saburo had woken up somewhat early as he intended to do some shopping. He was lucky there was a store near his house that opened at 7 AM. As soon as he walked out the door he had two bags in each hand, filled to the brim with mostly healthy foods. Carrying the large sacks home, he swayed from side to side under the heavy bags. Some man even yelled at him, early in the morning. OY! Kimyōna! Watch where you're going, ba-a-a-a-aka!” Saburo's reaction was going to set the tone for the rest of the day. He stopped dead in his tracks and turned around to the man, who had raised a fist to him. “Good morning to you, too, my Konohagakure elder friend! I hope the Sage of the Six Paths has blessed your early morning, and will bless it the rest of the day! I also hope that he doesn't take your life away today, so you can continue to spend time in the hospitality of Konohagakure like all the other friendly companions that house in this village! Furthermore I wish you a happy day today, the 26th of August at aproximately 7:30AM.” He smiled a cheesy, obviously fake smile, although it's intent was to be serious and well meant. The man didn't seem to appreciate it however as he shook his fist at Kimyōna some more. Thinking it was a sign of friendliness, Saburo dropped the two bags in his right hand and smiled, raising his fist and shaking it at the man too. It was like Saburo had never even heard of rudeness, but then again he had only been back in the village for aproximately two weeks.

He continued on his way afterwards, taking the bags and carrying them home. “What a friendly man, that man there. I hope to get a real friend like him some day, perhaps someone my age, so they can care for my safety as I walk down the streets, too. One day, Saburo, one day..” Saburo said to himself out loud as he entered his home. He quickly unloaded the bags and then grabbed his flak vest, which he had loaded with tools. Kunai, shuriken, senbon. It was all in order. He quickly checked the back pouch where he stored his explosive tags. “Hoh, not enough..” There were only a couple of tags left, so Saburo grabbed a summoning scroll from his kitchen compartment and formed the tiger seal with both hands. “Summoning Jutsu: Unload Tags!” Out of nowhere a stack of easily 40 explosive tags appeared and he stuffed them into the pouch. That should be enough. He put on the flak vest and headed out, closing the door behind him and walking to the square at the Hokages' Office. Konoha.. was such a beautiful village.

He arrived at the square right on time, at 8:14. Slowly he'd walk up to the man, whose name he knew, Hideyoshi. He'd fall in line with the people he had never met. Akio, Takeshi. Strange combo. Never the less he greeted them. “Very nice morning to you, comrades of the Village hidden in Leaves, otherwise known as Konohagakure! Has the Sage of the Six Paths blessed your day today? I hope to denote to you that I want to become friends for the duration of the mission, so that we can fulfil it together. I believe something like that is called comrades!” he said with a very fast way of speaking. As an awkward silence fell, his eyes opened wide and he looked quite surprised. Had he done something wrong? Oh, ofcourse! Slowly his hand would go in the air, before closing into a fist. He'd shake it at them whilst smiling. “Please accept this signature of friendliness!”

Fujitora Choko ; The Overseer

The next two days were pretty null for Fujitora as he was simply anticipating what was going to occur when the teams would be officially put together. He did however handle the paperwork and reports regarding the recent missions but did not actually give them a specific grading, it was Zeno's job to do that. However it did give him the occasion to accustom himself to the group of Chuunin that stood out more than the others, especially those he'd have under his wing during this sensitive mission. All three had a Kekkei Genkai that would serve him in the specifics of the mission with a minimum of errors.

Upon arriving as punctual as ever, he aligned himself before his attributed them, hands behind his back as his sister displayed a next level of attitude he hadn't seen in a while. If this wasn't one of those moments where his behavior as a commander were mandatory, he'd spew out a nasty remark on her just for the heck of it. He had all the information on the mission as well as the others', so the reunion happening at the very moment wasn't captivating him as much as the thought of how he'd actually tackle this problem now that he saw his crew live and in person. He had his doubts right away, not because they looked weak or anything, but the desire for a perfect team would almost always be stronger than the satisfaction he'd get from it.

Once the briefing done, he'd solemnly turn to walk out of the room without giving any instructions to his new subordinates. This would ultimately leave them confused as no order was given to follow him either, adding to the fact that Fujitora had the bad habit of disappearing in the masses of hallways in the Hokage Mansion. But their stress would be relieved rather quickly as the trio received a text on their respective cell phones an address with an order to get there in ten minutes flat.

As his crew gathered in an abandoned park in the middle of Downtown, the chuunin sitting calmly on the grass while he leaned his back against a tree. He scrutinized them for a few seconds as they made themselves comfortable while following his demand to sit down. They all seemed confident enough to lead this mission, or at least skillful enough if he referred to the databooks. However he was clearly aware that his presence here meant that even with their skill the stakes were too high for them to risk this. Fujitora's power would be considered large enough to compensate possible weaknesses in the team according to the administration.

"Ok. Since you're all here I'm assuming you're not all that scared of a little mystery. Good. Before I go any further, estimates suggest there's a 40% chance you'll die during this type of mission. Is that a problem? Good."

He of course didn't actually give them an option, as being a Shinobi entailed such risks every day. They could however walk away if they wanted to, but the shame that would follow would be enough of a deterrent for those who reached Chuunin level.

"Today, we're NOT going on a field trip, we're actually going to be a bit patriotic today and visit the bowels of the village."

He'd say with a dramatic touch in his tone, as if he was about to tell them a story. His face remained serious and cold, similar to his sister's expression, albeit a little less forced due to his lack of desire to prove himself to anyone. He was Jonin commander, even if he took a dump right in front of the Chuunin they'd still respect him. Before continuing he'd pull out one of his typical cigarettes and lit it up in his mouth so he could have himself a nice, relaxing smoke as he went on.

"We're visiting the shitstorm that is the Yakuza Bid Tourney. For those who've been living in a cave, it's essentially an illegal fighting ring where massive amounts of money and stolen items are exchanged and flowing. In other words we're diving in the underworld of business. Thing is, we could just arrest them but they'd just spawn more elsewhere and we'd lose most of the items during the raid anyway, so we'll actually play along."

He'd claim to give them a little taste as to would they'd do. He took a pause, inhaling a large quantity of smoke before releasing it out of his mouth and nose.

"So you will be fighting round after round until the scroll is up for grabs. Chances are most won't be difficult for you, but we'll eventually reach a point where ninjutsu practitioners show up near the top. My source says it'll be up for grabs in the upcoming rounds, so if any of you want to cower away, I won't judge you. I'd also recommend wearing sober clothes so they won't identify you as that guy with the kimono for example."

As he finished, he'd put on a pair of sunglasses and a baseball cap while using the transformation jutsu to grow a small beard so he'd go unnoticed. The Chuunin didn't have enough notoriety in the underground to be too noticeable with their normal appearances, Fujitora however needed to work a little more as his title made him pretty famous among wrongdoers.

"Questions?"

Aoi Don Maquia

The return home was a pretty grim experience, barely anyone talked about it and everyone just seemed to want to get this done with. Aoi wasn't too happy about this experience as it didn't feel quite as educating as it should have been. To her, it was the perfect way to prepare the Genin in the dark world of Shinobi. But alas, both of the chickened out, Doto being the most troubled of the gang. She only learn later that he'd quit the job of being a ninja altogether because of this experience. She'd feel bad but also good about it. At least she had enlightened him while getting praise from her superiors. In the end, with a little monetary compensation added, she was in good terms with the results of the first mission she had led.

Because she was already convoked for a mission occurring in two days time, she had cancelled her plans of working elsewhere in exchange for a little time to rest and prepare herself for that day. If Konoha was pressuring her and her friends for a mission so early, it must be that it was going to be something out of the norm or dangerous. This excited her, more fun experience where she can showcase her talents and tricks while being a fabulous ninja at that. Although she wasn't as punctual as most, she arrived right on time with her typical clown clothes on. She set herself in line, but barely had anything started that Yamato was complaining about things and having an attitude. Aoi politely bowed to her attributed sensei she had been told of beforehand. The clown didn't talk until Ayame was done with her briefing as she held the young woman with a lot of respect, more than most Jonin in general actually. She was also quite pretty, especially with that new black hair that fit her more than her blonde hair to Aoi's surprise. If such a colorful girl recognized that, it only meant that is was the truth.

"'Ey Yamato! Stop being such a pickle, we all know I'm the best leader around~"

She'd taunt him, although she didn't give off any trace of arrogance in her tone, but simply a little smile that indicated a silly farce to annoy him and downgrade the serious he wanted to put in his discourse. She'd then bow to Nobunaga, someone she had barely been acquainted with considering he wasn't around too much in their class, and as such he didn't come to her party. The more she looked around with curiosity, the more she realized there were new faces around. Some she knew, others were pretty obscure to her memory. But that was okay as she at least knew the people she'd be working with. None of them bothered her, not even Yamato, and Tsukiko was known to be pretty fun too, almost crazy. Hopefully she'd be pretty fun unlike the two bores she'd have as equals to her.

"But I agree with you on one thing, Yamato-kun~ Tsukiko-Sensei, shall we depart?~"

She'd ask with all the cuteness she could gather in her voice. Aoi was quite excited to get this done and run after whatever kind of scroll they had to fetch. She had already forgotten its weird name but she knew it was a very important scroll.

Tsukiko Umene, Honeybadger

The jounin woman looked surprisingly well kept today. It was evident that she skipped her morning workout, otherwise she would appear much more disheveled, as per her usual. But in order to be prepared for this meeting on time, Tsukiko had to forgo the exercise. Not having her daily dose of wilderness had another effect on her, aside from her appearance: she seemed grumpier than usual. Tsukiko constantly shifted her weight from one leg to the other, occasionally fidgeting and adjusting the weapons on her back. Near-constant movement as she not-so-patiently waited for everyone to arrive and the mission to get going.

Then one of the chuunin assigned to her team decided to speak up. Minamoru, I've heard that name before, Tsukiko thought after Yamato introduced himself. Despite hearing him talk to her she appeared as if she was ignoring him. Isn't that the place I stole that shirt from when I was twelve? What happened to that shirt? Huh. Kinda regret shoplifting it now. Younger me wasn't very smart. Her train of thought, which was intentionally silly to at least keep herself entertained, was broken when Yamato spoke up again to suggest he co-lead the team.

She finally turned to look at him, having to look down slightly from the minor height disparity. Aoi's provocation toward Yamato seemed to have gone unnoticed, but while Tsukiko heard her she was now focused entirely on Yamato. Her eyes squinted as she read his body language and began to understand the way he carried himself. Yamato may not know it, but Tsukiko was excellent at reading other humans. And she already came to a conclusion about him. "You can co-lead?" Tsukiko began, her voice already painfully sarcastic. "That's good. You can carry your ego for me." After sparing Aoi a glance, almost serving as a warning as if what she said applied to the girl as well, she crossed her arms over her chest and sized him up again. Mainly to see how he would react to her aggression. After a few seconds of silence, possibly awkward seconds as it consisted of Tsukiko simply watching Yamato, she turned away to face Ayame and listen to the official briefing.

While this would be new information to the chuunin she was leading, Tsukiko had already gotten a gist of the information from meetings prior. This big organization was mainly to coordinate the teams more so than inform them, as all the jounin had been prepared ahead of time. This was particularly evident when one observed Tsukiko's complete lack of interest in Ayame's words. She had already heard them before, and didn't need to hear it twice to remember her objective. After the Hokage's Assistant was finished, Tsukiko turned to face her chuunin.

Tsukiko stared down at Nobunaga intensely for a moment, sizing him up much like how she evaluated Yamato. But in this case she seemed more skeptical of his presence as compared to being offended by it. After a few seconds of silence, Tsukiko finally relented her intimidating gaze from Nobunaga only to put it on Aoi. The clown girl stood out, visually. This may be a problem, but it likely wouldn't be. Tsukiko had read the files on these three, and they didn't seem to be buffoons or prone to insubordination. Yamato was the first to break the silence, questioning if Tsukiko had laid a plan out.

Leaning forward slightly, so as to put herself eye level with Yamato, she stared him directly in the eyes. "The plan is simple," she began, speaking at a moderate pace to sound more intimidating. "Do as I say the moment I say it." With the overview completed, Tsukiko stood back to full height and addressed all three kids. "First thing we're gonna do is track down the clan's movements and position ourselves ahead of them. We'll create traps ahead of their path to ambush them and annihilate their forces." Simple, straightforward. That's how Tsukiko kept it. "I'll figure out the traps we need once we get recon on their numbers and strength. The biggest condition we have to worry about..."

Her gaze became notably angry, as if the chuunin had already failed the mission. "Not to destroy the scroll in the skirmish. No explosives, no big jutsu. Got it?" Tsukiko made sure to look each one of them in the eyes before relenting again. "Real simple. I don't tolerate any fuck-ups or weakness. Any of you brats make this harder than it has to be and I'll personally ensure you'll be sitting out the next mission you're given." These three were likely unfamiliar with Tsukiko and her reputation, but by now they might realize her threats are anything but idle.

She finally turned away from the teenagers, motioning for them to follow as she left the meeting room. "Let's get going. We have work to do." Their objective was in the deserts outside Sunagakure, deep in the Land of Wind. This trip would certainly take several hours, at the least. But it would also take time, or luck, to properly locate the Fushido clan. Time Tsukiko didn't want to waste. If everything goes well, I can be home in time to thaw out and cook some of that venison I made the other day...

Shin Maru, Topaz

Why... Shin thought, standing casually by Fujitora and his team. Why am I put on an all-guys team? Am I being punished? Have I been too inappropriate or mean? With a sigh, Shin stuck his hands in his jacket pockets and looked to his feet. Could be worse, I suppose... His attention snapped up to Ayame surprisingly fast when she began speaking, the large teenager taking in every word as he stood at attention for his superior. So the reason they were gathered was to capture some sacred scrolls and the man that originally stole them. And Shin's team was going after one of the scrolls, but one the village was unfamiliar with.

"No information on it?" Shin pondered aloud, bringing a hand up to his chin. "Why couldn't we get details on that scroll but on the others? ... Fujitora, sir?" The team leader simply started walking away, without hardly a gesture or acknowledgement of the team that had gathered to be led by him. This left Shin looking confused, unsure if he should follow the Jounin Commander or not. "Uh..." He looked to Jaakuna and Paneru for suggestions, but his phone vibrated in his pocket. A quick examination proved it was a text from Fujitora himself, with a meeting place and a time...

Once Shin finally arrived at the park, he sat down before Fujitora and listened intently. I've heard about the fighting ring, Shin thought to himself, his expression doing nothing to reveal his thoughts. My uncle raided it once. I remember he said it was stupid because it wouldn't solve anything. I guess I understand why a little better. Into the lion's den we go... He first sighed, but then the grin came back. "Gahaha!" Shin began his unmistakable laugh after Fujitora asked if there were any questions. Once he calmed down after a second or two, he pointed at his chest with his right thumb.

"Don't worry, sir," he said confidently. "I'm not afraid of a little fighting. I'm more worried about catching the flu than getting hurt." Big words, considering the situation. Shin wasn't completely ignorant of the weight of what they were about to do. His goofy grin toned down a bit and his tone became slightly more serious, but still notably confident. "We'll get that scroll. Bashing a few skulls isn't too bad, we just gotta blend in effectively. Fighting opponents one at a time in a ring is easier than being jumped by an entire mob."

Giichi Uzumaki

He had been but a few minutes early to the gathering. His trademark orange jacket catching the wind and easily swaying at the slightest touch. He liked to think that in the two days since his mission with Yamato and Rei, that he had grown stronger. The knowledge … or the reminder that he should think ahead had etched itself in his mind. To precede cautiously in a unknown situation wasn't usually his thing but he'd try harder to contain himself next time.

The others showed themselves soon enough and after making a point of greeting Yamato with a casual hey, he returned to his spot near his teammates and captain; a Special Jonin who went by the moniker: Pixie. He hadn't taken much notice of her before this so he was curious about her. She didn't appear particularly strong but he wouldn't judge.

His laxed posture soon grew cheerful and warm. Our mission will be easy,” he started off, crossing his arms over his chest and glancing between Megumi-sensei, Rin-chan, and the unknown. As long as we all work together. Like Ayame-sensei said, if we screw up … the whole operation is placed in jeopardy. Let's try not to stick out like a sore thumb.”

He grabbed the straps of his pack mindlessly, adjusting them tightly around his shoulders before following his captains lead. Guess its off to the Village hidden in Swords. I hope its not too pointy.

Daiki Naito

Bounding across the branches towards Kannabi Bridge, a recently built bond between Iwagakure and Konhagakure, Daiki felt a twitch of annoyance at Ayame. She had glanced at him earlier, insinuating that he may recklessly disrupt the operation by “Searching for Glory” or something-nother. He stepped off a sturdy branch and floated through the air for a moment.

Hai,” he answered above the wind, his voice flawlessly hiding his irritation.

As she continued on, Daiki glanced over at Haruka and Sentou. Both of them were known around the village but not so much that he actively paid attention to them. Even on their mission together, Haruka and himself hadn't spoken too much. He'd have to try harder to get along with them, especially considering Ayame was leading their small group.

Sighing, he rubbed his head lightly, the future throbs of a headache already showing itself. I have but a few. Why do we want acknowledgment from the Samurai? And what happens if you miss? What's plan B?” His golden eyes waited on her back for an answer. I'm sure she hadn't considered that her aim would falter or his skills would be exceptional.

Yamato Minamoru, “Young Master”

Yamato seemed rather unintimidated by the woman. The tricks she used on others likely wouldn't work on Yamato - he was too sure of himself to feel scared by someone he barely knew. Especially if she was annoying as Tsukiko. Aoi largely went ignored, too. Yamato had learned to zone out of Aoi's annoying voice during his working hours, where he'd be forced to listen to the girl for hours on end. Besides, if there was a liability to this team, it was most definetely Aoi.

Yamato clenched his teeth and balled up his fists as Tsukiko spoke, but he restrained himself from lashing out. Instead, he verbally retorted. “Looking at you, I'll be carrying the mission on my back. Adding my ego to that won't hurt me. I suggest you don't try to intimidate me. It'd only strain our working relationship, Tsukiko.” He once again omitted her honorific, not deeming her worthy of any respect so far. Besides, she had not even the decency to feign interest in miss Choko's speech. Bored with Tsukiko's antics he stuck a hand in his flak jacket's pocket.

Tsukiko lowered her face to Yamato's face to answer him later on, another attempt to intimidate him no doubt. He didn't move back, like Tsukiko had probably anticipated him to do as she had no clue who Yamato even was, and was largely unaware of his personality as she had just demonstrated. Rather, he moved his face forwards as well and clenched his teeth, showing them in a show of battle-lust, even if it were just an argument. “Sounds like a shit plan, Tsukiko. To Aoi and Nobunaga, it would probably be very, very unclear who was trying to annoy who, and in reality it would probably turn out that both Yamato and Tsukiko were trying to annoy eachother until either of the two caved. It was the fate of two arrogant and aggressive personalities that met. Whilst it sounds compatible, they were essentially the same after all, in reality this was often not the case.. Yamato and Tsukiko likely both suffered from the need to assert themselves and make themselves feel above the others, which in both cases was also largely true if you looked at the power levels. But when two of these people try to outdo eachother.. it'd become a rivalry, or worse, a strained relationship. Currently, it was looking more like the latter.

“So your plan is literally 'I make traps, and you sit back'? What kind of self proclaimed jonin makes these plans.. my genin sister could make a better plan. They're in a desert - they could take days to reach our trapped location, if they don't take a detour. Instead we should go to where we know they will come, which is an oasis. Kami, are you really this stupid.. baka.. I wonder if the Hokage is punishing me for giving me these lousy missions and teams.. baka Hokage..” Yamato said with a biting tone to Tsukiko. Even though he said it aggressively and in a rude fashion, Tsukiko would have to realize that setting up traps in a desert was both painstakingly tough, and it would take a master strategist to calculate where they'd move. And even then, the error margin would be huge. Furthermore a desert is huge, they could literally be going anywhere and the team lacked the intel to calculate where the Yakuza clan was moving.. never the less, Yamato realized from Tsukiko's way of speaking and her aggressive but somewhat acceptable, for a jonin, body language that she'd probably not admit Yamato had a point. It wouldn't surprise him if she later on decided that they should set up traps near an oasis however.. she seemed backwards like that.

“But I suppose you won't listen to me.. listen to Aoi or Nobunaga instead. They'll make sure to get us killed faster than you will.” His vision would switch to Aoi, as he'd only now retort to her annoying remark. The fire in his eyes was burning again and anyone that was still around could easily tell he was getting fired up. Never the less his body remained calm, unlike other times. Maybe Tsukiko's presence prevented him from physically threatening his comrades, or maybe he realized that in order to fulfill the mission more easily they could use shinobi that were not beaten up. “Leading a 5 man cell with 2 other chunin who actually have a clue about being a shinobi, and then pretending to be the leader.. making a kid drop out from the field force..? That's hardly great leadership.. more like being a failed shinobi. But I suppose you can be proud for killing an old, defenseless man.. that must've took skill, Aoi. I'm sure he cowered in fear as you towered above him, ready to stab him. Baka. You have no clue about leadership, or about being a shinobi. You can't even write the word shinobi. Fool.

Takeshi Ruzuzaki

“Takeshi! Attention!” If shit couldn't get anymore worse: it damn well did. Takeshi screamed before pulling out his balisong knives and pointed at the voice, he instantly put them down as Ayame Choko, had come to visit...him.

"Huh, should they be- looking-"

“You got out of the hospital and I hardly care how. Get ready to leave in 2 days, you're going with Hideyoshi Sawada, together with two newcomers - Saburo and Akio. At ease, Takeshi!” she barked before without letting him speak saw herself out of his apartment, leaving him and Yang alone again. Yang looked at him with curiosity, poking her head out of the blankets once again.

"Ohhh mission for Takey!" she grinned "Good luck with that...and good night!" Yang laughed as she got herself comfortable and not within a minute. Takeshi had enough, Throwing his hands in the hair he venture out to the living room, got himself some blankets and a spare pillow and turned of the lights. Grunting as he quickly shut his eyes, the sounds of the blonde snoring made it a bit difficult.

"Saburo and Akio....why does her name seem familiar?" shrugging to himself he turned over and close his eyes. "Oh well, i'll think about it later...."

With the Snoring in the other room, Takeshi quickly fell asleep. Tomorrow and the day after would be a full blown training.

"Takey~~~I'm hungry again!"

Also: Yang, lots of Yang.

Takeshi Ruzuzaki was there early as he stood with newly assigned team. As Ayame gave out the orders to the other teams before him, He was glad that Yang had decided to go back to her place, after much of a argument, but something told him it wasn't over, not by a long shot. He had changed into a new set of clothes: well Same wear: different colour, this was more badass

"Hai!" Takeshi responded "First mission after nearly dying, no need to be scared, i have Limit breaker on my side." he told himself as he looked at his captain and teammates, testing out his Balisong knives he nodded "Right! Takeshi's Ruzuzaki's first mission: Let's do this!"

“Very nice morning to you, comrades of the Village hidden in Leaves, otherwise known as Konohagakure! Has the Sage of the Six Paths blessed your day today? I hope to denote to you that I want to become friends for the duration of the mission, so that we can fulfil it together. I believe something like that is called comrades!” Suburo Uchiha was the first to greet them. Odd guy, but then again: Who was he to judge? He had a split personality.

"Morning to you, Name's Takeshi Ruzuzaki, a Chunnin: let's get along together and complete this mission." He paused and gave a surprised look "If you count the Sage of Six Paths preventing me from dying, then somehow the higher ups not looking for me and getting a Taijutsu master: Then yes: he has blessed my day." He held out his hand to Suburo, if he was going to change and achieve his dream: let small steps like this would have to do. "Sure, I'd be glad to count on someone like you." he smiled, but a small smile. This guy was very odd.

“Please accept this signature of friendliness!” He fist pumped the air, getting Takeshi to sigh.

"Sure." Shaking his head, his right arm eventually went into the air as well "Everyones like to be unique in their own way, huh?"

Yamato ; Shin

Yamato had contacted Shin with the information and details about the meeting spot. Yamato's father had agreed to meet with this boy, who piqued his curiousity due to have a kekkei genkai. It was .. well known at best, that the Minamoru's disliked kekkei genkai and clans that had them, so Yamato had guessed his father was interested by the boy asking so brazenly for a meeting. Besides that, it was also an easy source of information. There was no way his father would simply hand out information without getting anything back for it.

The room that they entered was not part of Yamato's house, despite his house having a small dining room where they could've met. That would've been unsafe, likely, incase Shin was planning something. No, they went down to the Financial district, where cars raced below them as they jumped high above the traffic, over buildings and bridges. It was right ahead where Shin and Yamato would see the sign that said “Minamoru Corporate Headquarters.” It might seem strange to Shin, to Yamato it was everyday stuff. They landed on the sidewalk amidst a large amount of people, and headed inside through the glass doors. In the lobby, there was a great amount of people waiting, no doubt to search for a job in the bussiness side of the Minamoru family. But Yamato ignored it and headed straight for the lift, the secretary at the booth waving at him as he passed by. He didn't return the favor, in line with Yamato's regular response to pretty much anything.

He waited for Shin to enter before pressing the button to go to the 8th floor, the second most high level of the building. The entire ride up the elevator was rather quiet, as Yamato didn't speak a word. He'd rather have had that Shin wasn't here, soiling the building with his dirty hands. Well, that was overexaggerating, he simply disliked Shin because he had a kekkei genkai. He had an unfair advantage over others. Not that it'd help him.. Ping. The doors opened and Yamato stepped out, as they headed out again. They reached a wooden door down the hallway and Yamato knocked first, then opened it. As he entered, he quickly bowed to the man in the seat, which was his father. His father was sitting there, looking good as always. He was wearing a suit, black all over, with a red tie, and despite his age he looked very young due to the Senju DNA that had been infused in his body. On his desk laid an assortment of prototype new model kunai, a senbon-launcher that had just entered a test fase in production and a new Banzai!-flak jacket. They were, ofcourse, inferior quality. But that didn't stop dumb teenagers who wanted to be a shinobi, but not go to academy, from buying them. Yamato's father, Reijo, folded his hands and laid them on the desk, looking at Shin as he entered. Without a warning, Yamato would grab Shin's neck from behind and force him to bow very deep before his father. It was more for Shin's safety than to annoy him, but Shin would probably still get mad. However, Shin should find himself lucky. For the second time Shin could see what it was like to have Yamato be subject to someone, and unlike his mom, who he obeyed because it was respect, it seemed like Yamato had had.. bad experiences with his father. Shin would likely be able to tell that just by looking at how respectful and neatly Yamato stood near the wall, looking straight at his dad.

The older teen followed Yamato to the meeting silently. Despite being classmates, there wasn't really much to talk with him about at the moment. It felt somewhat awkward as they travelled up the elevator. Shin knew that Yamato wasn't the most social of butterflies, nor was he the friendliest of shinobi, which both conflicted strongly with his own personality. It was a sign of respect, really, to not pester Yamato on the trip. When they entered the spacious office, one befitting a mogul like Mr. Minamoru, Shin was taken completely by surprise when Yamato forced him to bow before his father. His eyes went to Yamato first, clearly confused by the sudden action, but he quickly figured out that he was supposed to bow on his own when he entered. Something he didn't instictively do.

After being released from the bowing position, Shin stood upright and cleared his throat first. "I'm glad you were able to meet with me today, Mr. Minamoru," he greeted, stepping forward to stand at a more appropriate conversation range. He was tempted to take a seat, but alas there were no other chairs than the one on the other side of the desk. "Shin Maru, as you may have guessed." To be on the safe side, Shin gave another polite bow after introducing himself, though he was unsure if the second one was necessary or just over-doing it.

As he stood back up again, he took a pause to examine Yamato's father. He was surprisingly young, all things considered. But he seemed like a decent person. "I wanted to ask a few questions. Not that I'm going to rib you or anything... I'm just... trying to figure out what is happening with that Jashin cult." Almost immediately, Shin's casual demeanor shifted. There was a notable tension in the air, a sign of emotion in his voice. "They were after your family, but they've already done plenty to the village. The jonin haven't weeded them out yet, so I intend to find them myself. First... do you know why they were targetting Yamato and Rei, sir?"

Reijo looked at Shin with bored eyes, squinting at the boy when he started talking. Is this kid serious? It seemed to splash right off the man's face. It was clear he was waiting more or less to see what the boy's real intentions were, and if this was it.. well, Reijo wasn't impressed. He put two fingers at his chin and closed his eyes as he faced down towards his desk. Slowly he looked back up and opened his eyes at Shin again, before a deep voice rung through the room. “Shin Maru, son of Kaito. I know your father. Dangerous man, him. I've had the unfortunate happen to me as I crossed paths with him. More than once. Your father does his job well.” He'd close his eyes again and take a moment, turning around in his chair slightly. As he readjusted himself a grin came upon his face. “Not well enough, I suppose. Why are you worried about my families safety.. and more importantly, why would I tell you what I know?” Yamato couldn't help but wonder why he had agreed to bring Shin here. He was turning this into a disaster. Yamato's eyes pierced the back of Shin's back, wondering what the boy was trying to do.

He's met my father? I haven't heard anything about this. I should talk with dad later and see what he's holding back from me, Shin thought briefly, seemingly oblivious to the jabs that were taken at his family. Whether it was ignorance or acceptance, he didn't bat an eye to Reijo's words. "I appreciate company, sir," Shin stated first. It was an odd thing to say, but he quickly continued. "I consider many people I know a friend, even if they don't look at me the same way. When my friends are dying and nothing is being done about it... I take matters into my own hands."

His gaze went around over his shoulder for a moment, to see Yamato's expression. He knew the guy wouldn't care much, but he hadn't forgotten who allowed him to have this meeting in the first place. "I take my role in this world seriously," he continued, returning his gaze to Reijo. "An attack on any family in Konoha is like an attack on mine. So if nobody else is going to take care of the Jashinists, then I'll do it myself." He resisted the urge to make a gesture of strength, because it might come off as threatening. And if he appeared to be threatening Reijo, having his back turned to Yamato wouldn't be healthy. "That's why I want to know. Your family was the specific target, so you must know something that nobody else does. Or at least that's what I was hoping." Shin closed his blue eyes for a moment and let out a sigh. "I wouldn't expect you to have all the answers, but I need to make some kind of progress on this if I want to consider myself useful."

Reijo listened to the boy carefully. The boy definetely looked more dumb than he sounded. Maybe this meeting was an interesting idea anyway. Never the less, the boy was a Maru. He'd have to get something in return, at the very least. Reijo didn't reply as quick as he had before, instead closed his eyes once again and, as if he had done this a million times, he opened his drawer and pulled out a notebook with a pencil. He threw it down in front of him on the desk, next to the Banzai!-flak jacket. He beckoned Shin to come and take the notebook, and read it. In it it would have a few random words, that he'd need to remember. But at the center of it would be a few words, surrounded with a circle. “Maru clan, Gemstones?”

As soon as Shin would've read it, Reijo would continue, folding his hands again and holding them up, resting his chin on it. “What does the Maru clan have to do with the Gemstones, and what do the Gemstones do?” It was a pretty straight forward question.

The teenager looked at the notebook, a surprised expression taking over his face. He didn't expect there to be any questions for him, nor did he get why Reijo would want to know about his clan. The Minamoru's were an interesting family, certainly, but Shin couldn't see why they'd care about his family. "The Gemstones. The Maru clan, my family, have a bloodline limit. Not everyone gets it, but those who do become a Gemstone. I would be the youngest and most recent addition," he said simply. This information wasn't classified or anything, so held no restraint as he explained. "The Gemstones are partly a pride thing. To pass on old traditions and train the next generation in the family..."

"But that's not the only thing we're expected to do."
His eyes went back up to Reijo now. At this point he was clearly hesitant. Going into fine detail wouldn't be wise, but being too vague may also not be wise. Shin took a moment to think how he would word his next statement. "We work closely with the police, as you already know. What the Gemstones do is handle... high-risk situations. Things that the regular officers would be at great risk of death or dismemberment. Our abilities are useful for..." Shin paused, looking over his shoulder at Yamato again. He knew that Yamato hated kekkei genkai, and Crystal Release was no exception. This fact would probably make him hate Shin more. "Eliminating criminals or other shinobi."

With that out of the way, he looked back at Reijo. "Police red tape, I've heard some people call it. Putting it that way sounds a bit nasty... but sometimes there is no other choice than to kill for the greater good." Shin let out a sigh, before crossing his arms over his chest. "That sums up the Gemstones well, I think. Not like we're top secret or anything, but I suppose it's better if some people don't know about us." His eyes then locked with Reijo's. "Now you know a little about me. But... you still haven't answered my question from earlier."

Reijo nodded as he heard the story. This was useful information to him. He'd have to warn his captains about the Gemstones. No wonder he'd been missing some of his higher ups, who were rogue nin on the down low. He smiled at the boy in front of him and looked him dead in the eye. “I suppose I shouldn't expect better from a clan like yours, using their kekkei genkai to murder. Using your curse like it's a blessing. But you're still young. You can still repent.” The words were not aggressive or anything like Yamato would've said them, and they rang with intelligence, even if the words were somewhat harmful.

He took the notebook and noted down some things before putting it away again. “I suppose you know Yamato well enough to know he's a powerful boy. I suppose they were after him, like they said, for his blood. Could also be they were trying to get at me, since I was also an original target. I knew about it, so I left Konoha for a day hoping they'd back off.” Reijo's eyes met Yamato's in a deadly stare, indicating that this was not 100% the truth. There was something more going on beneath the surface of the words Reijo said, but it was obviously something private to the Minamoru's.

“I don't know what else there is to say. Maybe they are trying to break my company by killing me, my heir or my lovely daughter. Who can tell. It would certainly harm the Konohagakure economy, since I own nearly 70% of the economical assets in the financial district.” He'd wave his hand in a circle as if he was trying to come up with something. It took a minute before he got the words he wanted. “Besides, my wife owns a restaurant in Downtown. It's called.. ehh.. 'The Great Sasuke' or something like that. She loves her history, but if you ask me, that Uchiha brat Sasuke was a farce all along. Something tells me he never even existed. Either way, maybe a rival hates her and her family and wants us taken down.”

Reijo looked at his desk again, in wonderment, as he was still left with a few questions of his own. This time, they were more related to the issue at hand. “You say you care for all the families in Konoha, right boy?”

Shin closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose, clearly thinking hard. Like he was trying to put together pieces of a puzzle using only his mind. The Jashinists were targetting Yakuza and wealthy families, they had been around Konoha long enough to go under the radar and obtain lots of information on the shinobi and their targets. He knew that he was missing something. A name, or perhaps a place, and he would surely pick up their trail. He was snapped out of his thought process when Reijo questioned an earlier statement Shin made.

The boy opened his eyes again and brought his hand back down, bringing both arms to his sides now. "Yes, sir," Shin responded simply, at first. "I became a shinobi to protect. Failing to protect one family is the same as failing at life, because..." Shin trailed off, suddenly losing his words. Now that he thought about it, he wasn't so sure what he really wanted in the grand scheme of things. He originally became a shinobi to protect, sure. But he didn't know where he stood now. "Because the life of a protector is the one I chose. It's my duty, sir."

“Maybe that makes you slightly better. If I may be so free to offer you advice, boy?” he asked, with an open handed gesture towards him as if giving him the word, but he quickly continued, not giving Shin a chance to react. “I am not a dangerous individual. Atleast, if I choose not to be. You opened up to me when I asked about your family and the Gemstones within a second. Now, this info.. I could've gotten it if I paid some money to the correct people at the police department, I suppose. But you gave it to me almost for free. All I had to do is tell you something in return, and I'm not sure if I know more than you do.”

Ah, well. Ofcourse Reijo knew more, or else how'd he anticipate the Jashin attack? But Shin didn't ask about that anymore, so he left it out the question for now. “I'm not here to tell you or your clan how to live life. Matter of fact, your clan is cursed with their bloodline limits. But still, you are people. You can't help it. All I'm trying to say is, the Uchiha, the Naito, the Hyuga, all of those powerful families.. they have something to hide. Your clan best have reason to have stuff to hide too, boy. Don't open up so easily.” It seemed like it was well wished advice to Shin, as most of the points Reijo made made some form of sense. He waved the pair of boys away but changed his mind just as Yamato reached for the door.

“Yamato.. I heard you argued with that boy Daiki again, during the incident.” Yamato stopped dead in his tracks and didn't turn around. “Yes, father.” His answer was short even for Yamato's standard, and Shin was caught right in the middle of this awkward stand off. “Can you still look me in the eyes with pride?” Yamato didn't answer, but turned around and looked his father in the eye, puffed his chest out and lifted his chin. Only then did he reply. “Yes, father. The Naito are inferior, and they will always be. He didn't even touch me, only spewing words with no meaning at me, father. He accused me of the murder of the three chunin in the woods. He never thought that it would be us that were targeted, that's how closeminded the Naito are. But I showed him, I saved Rei and showed him that we, the Minamoru, are better than them, and any other clan.” Yamato's father simply nodded and looked to Shin, opening his mouth to ask him something again. It seemed that Reijo was more a man of questions, and not a man of answering, but Shin would have to deal with it. It'd be a bad idea to not obey Reijo, and you didn't need to be a Yakuza to know that.

“What do you think of their little spat, Shin? If I may call you Shin, ofcourse. I assume you are familiar with the ancient fight between the Naito and the Minamoru, the Dogs versus the Tigers.” It wasn't a question, his middle sentence. Shin was going to be called Shin, but Shin being Shin probably didn't care much for that.

When Reijo gave his advice, which Shin had to admit was pretty good advice, the teenager only chuckled a bit. Something that may have come across rude, but he intended to explain later. What he didn't foresee, however, was Reijo and Yamato's interaction. There was an obvious tension between the two, Shin could see that. Already he felt that he could understand Yamato a little better. As someone strong that still was made to be powerless before his own father, that would certainly make him a proud type. Being dragged into their conversation was the second thing he didn't expect, and his face gave away his surprise.

"Their spat? Yamato and Daiki?" Shin reaffirmed, mostly for himself. "I've known that your families have a feud. But stilll... I don't agree with what they did." His expression grew serious again, and Shin crossed his arms over his chest again. "They tried to kill each other. Fighting is one thing, but killing your own comrade over something as pointless as he said, she said is completely foolish. Not liking someone isn't a good excuse to take their life."

It was only after he spoke his mind did he remember that Yamato was still in the room. Calling Reijo's son foolish right in front of the both of them may have been a bit foolish itself, but Shin didn't make any effort to repent. "Many people have a hard time finding value in others. I suppose that's what it comes down to. None of my business, and I won't intervene again. I'll take it on good will that they won't try to kill each other again." With a sigh, Shin shrugged his shoulders and returned his full attention to Reijo.

"I apologize, for earlier. I appreciate your advice. The reason I told you about the Gemstones without hardly a second thought is because I'm not worried." He paused a moment, to let the two Minamoru think about what he meant. "If I were facing some scumbag I wouldn't tell him a word. But I'm not worried about that here." The obvious insinuation was that Shin didn't find them threatening to his family, despite some of the choice vocabulary they've used so far. "There are more pressing dangers than giving an overview of my family business. Now... you own a lot of property in Konoha, right? From what I've researched about that cult... I can't see why they'd care."

There was a pause. Shin let silence take the room for a moment as he stared into Reijo's eyes. "In their teachings, or ideology... whatever the word is, they don't value earthly possessions. I can't see what they'd have to gain by killing you. Their economic state wouldn't matter to them in the end..." Shin looked back at Reijo's desk for a moment. He hadn't really noticed until now, but the toys on it seemed rather low-quality. Definitely a businessman. "So I'm wondering how you got caught up in this mess in the first place. It seems to me like it would be a stretch for the Jashinists to go out of their way to attack the Minamoru."

Reijo smiled as Shin answered his question, and noticed in the background that Yamato was clenching his teeth, and clasping his fists whilst listening to Shin's response. “Here you go again boy. They don't teach you politics in the Maru clan, right? I guess you don't even have a suitable bride yet. Never the less, let me offer you more advise. When speaking with a powerful person, you do not give your opinion and hope he agrees. Because I don't. The Naito are dogs, and dogs need to be put down if they bite you once. You should've told me you agreed with Yamato, it'd have made a better impression even if you don't really agree.. now.. are we done..?”

It seems the question answered itself, as Shin continued. He said he didn't feel worried. “You underestimate me and Yamato. That's okay. You wouldn't be the first or the last. Truth is, you can't trust anyone. We may not be scumbags, but we can use this information no matter how small it seems. Trust your clan, and your clan only.” He started tapping his chin staring at Shin whilst doing so. Was this boy smart, or dumb..? He couldn't quite tell. It seemed sometimes like the boy could draw the dots, but had difficulties connecting the lines at times.

It seems like Shin was not smart, either way. He didn't really pay attention to the advices he had given, and failed to pick up queue's on how much Reijo knew. “Listen, boy. You asked for ideas and I gave you ideas, so you're asking the wrong questions to the wrong people. If you want to know exactly what and how about these Jashinists, go talk to this guy.” He grabbed the same notebook that had the words Maru clan, Gemstones? written in it, except he flipped to the next page and wrote down the name Shinjaku Mitaso, an adress and a phone number, before handing it over to Shin. “This is the contact that warned me about the attack, but I have to warn you. He is a bit.. crazy. Now go. Tell your father I am sorry for what happened last time we met, and tell your mom that mister Minamoru and miss Minamoru would love if she came by the Great Sasuke again for a meal. Or something like that. And remember, Shin. The Uchiha, the Naito, the Hyuga, they seem nice, just like the Maru seem nice to me. But I know that all the families in Konoha want nothing more than to kill the others and take their secrets.” He waved them away and continued working. Yamato got the hint and quickly opened the door, bowed at his father deeply and then left the room, waiting outside for Shin. After Shin would leave, Yamato would lead him back outside, still not saying anything, before finally breaking the silence once they reached the front door. “You insulted my father before. Now you've seen he's an honourable man. If you insult him again, I will kill you, your father and mother and any other Maru's I find in your house. With the fight between me and Daiki, you got lucky when you caught us. It won't happen again, and I will end you. You had no right to end that fight, because he challenged me. Remember my words, Maru.” He would turn around and walk the other way, obviously angry.

The Maru teen thought about Reijo's words, taking care to memorize the information on the paper about the informant. Perhaps not today, but he did need to speak with this person as well. As they rode the elevator down, Shin pocketed the paper and reflected on the meeting. He seems a bit suspicious, and a bit mean. But... he doesn't seem as bad as everyone says. Reijo definitely wasn't telling me everything though. I figured as much.

Shin was still lost in thought when Yamato stopped him outside and threatened him. He made sure to lock eyes with the Minamoru, waiting patiently for Yamato finish before speaking up. "I'll only say this once, Yamato," Shin began. "I don't see you as a bad guy. A jerk sometimes, but you have your reasons. You're still a comrade to me." He left a pause, almost as if that was all he had to say. "But if you decide to fight me, I won't show mercy. You are strong, but I won't let anyone walk over me. I hope it never comes to that." The seriousness in his tone was surprising. Likely had to do with the threats toward his family as well, as this was far from the first time Yamato had threatened him personally.

"Don't mistake kindness for weakness... Anyways, thank you again for helping me today." With that serving as his farewell, Shin put his hands in his jacket pockets and began walking the other way. He didn't get all the answers he wanted, but he certainly got more questions that needed answering. Dad needs some explaining to do...

Rin Reikan, Little Ice Minx

Rin remembered that morning. She remembered how awful she felt when her father said such things. Even as Ayame was explaining the mission, Rin was still thinking about all of that. She still heard what the mission details were, but Rin also was thinking back to what had happened and how upset she remembered feeling.

Rin got home a bit late -- later than any member of her surprisingly large family would have been up at -- so, Rin entered her room without notifying anyone. She didn’t want to deal with any of them after such a long and tedious mission. Plus, she was so exhausted that facing her family that late into the night, Rin would just ware herself out even more than she would have prefer to do so. Besides, Rin would just endure it in the morning. She had no doubts that the reports from the mission would reach her father by the time Rin woke up, so that surely was something to look forward to.

As the first rays of the morning sun reached her room, beaming through the dark blue curtains of her room, the sunlight glared on her face. The exposure to this light made her slowly open her eyelids. The first thing she saw was indeed the light. It was so bright that Rin put her hands on her eyes as to shield them from the sun. She turned over to her side where the light wasn’t in her face and a gaze of the other side of her room came to her, specifically the gaze of her nightstand and the alarm clock of hers that rested on it. Eyes half-open, Rin saw the time and it was about half-past seven in the morning. From what she remembered, she slept for almost twelve hours. Not as much as she had usually gotten in the past.

Rin kept on looking at her clock for several more minutes. The debating thoughts of getting more sleep or getting up went back and forth in her mind. There was a lot of moaning and groaning. It wasn’t until she heard her name being called that made her decision for her.

“RIN! TIME FOR BREAKFAST!” The voice of her sister Yukina called out from downstairs. Yukina had always been the loud one of her four siblings. Rin hated that she was so energetic, especially in the morning.

Rin groaned. She didn’t want to get up now that her decision was made for her. She just wanted to stay in bed, ignore everyone and let the day fade away. However, it seemed fate had other plans.

Suddenly, a large crash of her door opening was heard, prompting Rin to prop upright quickly, “FOR THE LOVE OF--” Yukina shouted, looking slightly annoyed as she saw Rin was still in bed. “Rin, I said breakfast is ready!” Yukina shouted to her little sister.

Rin just looked at her with the more annoyed face possible. It was taking all that she could not to pound the hell out of her older sister right then and there. “I would have come down eventually if you hadn’t been so goddamn pushy.” Rin said to her sister.

“Me? Pushy? Never.” Yukina’s voice oozed with sarcasm. “Just come down. The whole family is waiting for you.” Yukina said with a smile and a wink as she left her little sister. Yukina sure changed her moods frequently.

“Stupid Yukina.”
Rin sighed as she looked around for something to wear. She looked over in the corner and saw some semi-clean sweats that were black in color and had a cyan skull pattern on them. Added with a simple light blue tank, Rin made her way out of her room and down the stairs.

When Rin had made her way to the dining room, she saw her entire family. There was her father Lucious sitting at the head of the table. The left of him was Rex. Opposite of him was their mother. Next to Rex, Kagetsu sat and opposite of her was Yukino. Yukina saw next to her twin brother and there was a chair opposite of Yukina and Rin took it.

Throughout the table, there was quite the selection of breakfast items. There was eggs of different varieties -- some were boiled, fried, poached, scrambled, and hardboiled. There was also a collection of potatoes. Some of them were cubed in a hash and some were shredded. There was also pancakes and waffles, some steaks, and fruit. There was a pile of bacon and a few rows of thick, maple sausage links. It was a big family breakfast and everyone started taking what they preferred. Luscious took a steak and fried eggs as well as some coffee and orange slices. Hana, the mother, took a few waffles and pear slices. Rex and Kagetsu both just had some coffee and pancakes. The twins had the same thing: Waffles, bacon, and scrambled eggs.

While everyone was enjoying their breakfast, Rin sat there looking at what she had gotten and that was a few sausage links and fried eggs. After five minutes of getting it, Rin did not even touch it. She simply looked down at it. Obviously her mind was somewhere else at the moment.

Yukino took notice as he saw his baby sister looking down at her plate. “It’ll go cold if you don’t eat it, baby sister.” Yukino said in a low tone so that only she would hear him. Though, with the sounds of the utensils hitting the glass plates and the chatter that followed it, not like anyone would hear him anyways.

On the words of her brother, Rin started to eat her food, but she did not enjoy it. It wasn’t that it wasn’t tasty. All of the food the chef makes had always been top-notch, five-star worthy food, but Rin’s state of mind was just not in the place for her to enjoy it. Still, she did not want it to go to waste, so she ate as much as she can, albeit a little slower than most. By the time she had finished her plate, she was the only one left. It was about fifteen minutes until Rin finished her plate and had put it on the kitchen counter where one of the maids was doing the dishes.

As Rin was about to head back to her room, she stopped. “Rin, could you come to my study for a moment?” She heard her father call out to her as he was gesturing to follow him. She had no choice but to do so. As Rin followed her father into his study, he spoke. “Close the door please.” He said calmly, taking a seat at his desk. “Please, if you will.” He said gesturing to her once more, this time towards one of the two chairs that face opposite of his desk.

Rin nervously took a seat. She didn’t know what this was about. With her father, it could have been about how she was a disappointment to him as both a possible heir to the clan and a daughter in general. “Father, please if I did anything--”

Luscious held his hand up, “It’s alright, I’m not going to lecture you on your life choices thus far.” He said with a certain elegance to his voice.

Rin was stunned, but also very curious. “Then, if I may ask, what is this about?” She inquired.

Laughing slightly, Luscious leaned forward, his hands holding his head up as they were locked under his chin. A smile formed. “About your mission of course.” He stated simply.

“Oh..” Her voice fell flat and low. “So, you already heard, did you?” She said.

"Yes, I got the report while you slept last night." Luscious said as he nodded. He continued. “That I have.” He said, “quite the ordeal indeed. A whole village killed by a man with a rather unique Kekkei Genkai. Such a trait that should be considered highly dangerous if in the hands of the wrong person.” He was stating facts that Rin already knew. “And to think he lured Konoha shinobi there just so that he could get a quick death. Truly a tragedy indeed.” He said as if he was narrating some television special or lecturing a class.

“Father, if you forgive my rudeness, but why are you telling me something that I already know?” Rin said with a hint of annoyance in her tone.

Luscious laughed. “Yes, you do. And it’s my understanding that you had the option of being the one to end this man’s life, is it not?”

Rin simply nodded.

“So, tell me my sweet, rebellious daughter, why didn’t you? Why didn’t you take the initiative of proving your worth to this family -- to your village -- and deliver what that man wished?” He asked coldly, the disapproving tone of his back in full force.

“Father, it’s not what you think--” Rin was trying to explain, but she was cut off by him.

“Don’t bother answering. I already know. You are weak and frail. You do not have what it takes to end a life, even if it’s the life of a man that wants you to. I can’t believe that you have the blood of a Reikan in you. You‘re pitiful.” His words of disgust ripped through like a straight razor as if she were butter. The pure anger and disgust he felt for his own daughter made her sit there, frozen. Rin wanted to cry. She could feel the tears coming, but she did not let him see them.

“A-am I free to go now?” She asked simply.

“Yes, do as you please. I have nothing more to say to you.“ Luscious waved her away, turning away in his chair.

Rin ran out of her father’s study, tears flowing from her eyes. Her siblings saw, but before they could ask, she had ran out of the door, across the lake, and off to god-knows where.

It wasn’t before long that the mission briefing was done and the teams all took off, following their respective leader. The genin team was supposed to be Rin, Geichi, and Doto, but after the mission in Raijin, Doto quit the life of an active shinobi. Rin couldn’t blame him, but she was still disappointed. She thought he would at least stay as a shinobi, but just take time off. Either way, Rin didn’t like it, but there was nothing else that she could do.

As Rin adjusted her bag, she tightened it so that it wouldn’t fall off on the long journey that was sure to come with the mission. She followed Geichi’s lead.

Jaakuna Sawada, The Sundance Kid

Briefly after Hideyoshi left to get briefed more on the mission that had Jaakuna bed-ridden, Chrome and Aisha came back. It was literally just seconds after his brother left that they entered his room. Jaakuna could still feel the wind from Hideyoshi’s departure mixing with the natural breeze from the wind.

“We’re back!” Aisha announced running towards Jaakuna, hugging him. She had a can of Naruto Pop in her hand.

Jaakuna just smiled and was laughing a bit.

“Something I miss?” Chrome inquired, taking a seat in the chair next to Jaakuna’s bed, crossing her legs as she sipped her Sasuke Energy Drink.

“Hideyoshi came to visit me not too long ago.” Jaakuna mentioned.

Chrome stopped sipping her drink briefly, her fist was tightening. Jaakuna noticed and had a look of fear on his face.

“Did he now?” She said, untensing her grip of her drink. “That was nice of him.” Her voice was calm, but only for Aisha’s sake.

Jaakuna knew that tone. He knew it cause that was her tone of voice every time either Jaakuna would get injured or Hideyoshi would talk. She still had great disdain for him, which was a normal reaction. It’s been only a little past a year since his father and Chrome’s husband was killed. Even though the three of them know what kind of man he truly was, Chrome still felt ill will towards Hideyoshi. There was really nothing Jaakuna could do.

As the time flew by, Jaakuna was enjoying the various conversations his family and him were having. That was, however, until Ayame came back to his room only to tell him that he had to be out of the hospital by two days from then. It came to him as a shocker, but there wasn’t anything Jaakuna could do about that. He either had to push through the pain or claim to be too injured to go on a mission, but Jaakuna wasn’t that lazy.

“I guess I better get out of here then.” Jaakuna said, as he was about to get out of bed.

“What are you talking about? You’re still hurt.” Chrome was protesting the idea.

“Mom, I understand you’re worried, but I can’t stay in bed any longer.” Jaakuna was adamant about going. “You heard Ayame-sempai. I need to be ready by two days from now. The least I can do is start getting my body ready by walking.” Jaakuna said.

Chrome wanted to protest further, but that’s when she saw the look of determination in his eyes. Furthermore, the tone of his voice added to that. Chrome simply shook her head and smiled. “I swear, if this keeps up, I’m going to be all alone.” She said, “Fine, let’s get you checked out.” She said, agreeing.

“Thank you.”

Two days after taking it easy, Jaakuna was there with everyone else as the mission was being briefed. When Ayame was explaining, he was paired up with Paneru and Shin as they were going to be led by Fujitora, Ayame’s brother and Lord Commander of the Jounins. The mission was to recover some scroll that was stolen. “Sounds easy enough,” Jaakuna mused aloud. He wasn’t lying though. From what Ayame said, it really wasn’t that hard of a mission.

As she finished, the teams took off. Jaakuna following Paneru, Shin as the latter two followed Fujitora. When they first took off, Jaakuna was lightly favoring his ribs. It seemed that his injuries haven’t fully-healed yet. Anybody that would even look back at him would clearly see that he was holding his sides. Eventually, they would all meet at an abandoned park in Downtown. All three chunin sat on the grass while Fujitora-sensei was leaning against a tree. As he would explain it the mission in detail, Jaakuna didn’t smile, but he did have a little grin. It wasn’t at Fujitora explaining the mission, but it was what Shin said.

“Yeah, Shin’s right. We grab the scroll, kick some asses and get back in time for supper.” Jaakuna proceeded to highfive Shin as he finished.

Aoi Don Maquia

Aoi actively listened to Tsukiko's instructions but would be caught off guard by Yamato upping his game in absolute douchebaggery, this time attacking someone both theoretically and visually superior to him, more or less in every way she dwarfed him in this moment. To the clown it felt like a young newcomer to a group trying to impose their will in the team thinking they'd know better, and like in any move he'll eventually get owned and be shunned for everything. Even if Yamato pointed out the flaws in her plan, she never really gave much detail to begin with, so scrutinizing him felt a bit weird. It was like in her circus troupe where they'd brief the team on a new routine with just the basics as to how it was going to function and as it went they'd explain more. So naturally to Aoi they'd probably get to notice all the depth in her plan once they'd reach their mission location anyway.

Keeping her position as a Chuunin, she didn't speak out like Yamato did and let place for Tsukiko to give her reply to the arrogance that was Yamato. However, when her case would be revealed to the team with a few inaccuracies, she'd glance back at Yamato with a grudging fixating in his eyes. He was obviously criticizing her, but that was VERY typical of him, so instead of crashing as she would do with her 'normal' clients, she'd actually try to turn the tables and either impress him or bug him to the point of regretting ever bringing it up. She was of course a bit shaken by the fact that he referred to her so negatively despite the fact that the Hokage congratulated her, did he really sink that low in his already tarnished mind?

"Ahem! The old man killed lots of people, thank you! The whole village ya' know, all zoooombiiiiies!"

She'd imitate a zombie, proof of how she easily got caught away with her little antics and made this tension filled situation a more lighthearted one all the while discrediting the anger unleashed by Yamato. Her eyes both closed in on her nose, giving of the greatest derp impression ever and extended her arms forward to get in character.

"They had weapons and teeth! I probably saved little Rei from your zombified mommy who'd eat her at night~ I mean they even caught local shinobi by surprise! I did what my team was too cowardly or too full of themselves to do~"

Well that wasn't quite true, Daiki sure wanted to do it but at the same time blocked off any chance of having the Chuunin do it while Haruka would have probably done it himself but unwisely let the threat alone with the others. Not that Aoi was any wiser, but she believed she did the best for her team by taking matters into her own hand in the end.

"Teehee~ Beats your track record of trying to kill innocents, Ya-ma-to~"

She'd mock him right in his face before swiftly turning back and retreating from the heat. She didn't like to argue or confront anyone on anything, so she left it with a very annoying last words. Aoi was obviously referring to his tendency of hitting people for simply talking to him and even trying to kill them for "dishonoring" him, and by that it could go it flipping him off to humiliating his clan's questionable decisions. He had no advantage in killing Aoi however as she was too close to his family to make it justifiable in any way, so she wasn't as stressed about calling him off sometimes when need be. She'd stay close to Tsukiko's side, like an example student that she never was, in case Yamato would actually go physical over a little ego damage.

Nobunaga Inuzuka

Nobunaga was a bit deterred by the thought of facing enemy Ronin. His father was undeniably Ronin and such cretins only helped to sully his name. The young samurai ears perked at the mention of his team and the members within it. "Yamato and Aoi." Nobunaga was weary about Yamato mostly. He was a known hothead and despite giving faith into his honor, the two boys were very far apart. Nobunaga was never one to give into his ego and tout his abilities around whilst Yamato felt it easy to mouth off as much as possible letting his anger carry a conversation. He could be right at times but his words were so mired in anger that it left one to desire another individual. Unfortunately Nobunaga and Oichi would be subjected to Yamato's raging.

They never turned to face Yamato but instead allowed their heightened hearing to pick up on the conversation between his teammates and jounin leader. Yamato seemed to hate Tsukiko's plan despite only knowing a bit of it and felt that it would work better with him as leader, even going so far as to insult Nobunaga and Aoi in the process. Tsukiko returned her own comments and even Aoi got in on it. There was no true reason for for such hostility within the team. They would fail before they even made it from Konoha. Oichi instinctively stood between Aoi and Yamato, looking adorable in it's over-sized armor, and let out a cute bark to break the tension.

"I must say that this does not fill me with hope. There is truly no reason to argue. Aoi, please do not egg Yamato on. His rage is not one we need to deal with. Yamato, please there is no need to insult Tsukiko's plan. We placed in her team for a reason and she has an understanding far greater then our own. Give faith and have some respect. You are a chunnin for a reason." Nobunaga felt his final words would antagonize Yamato accidently and he kept his right hand on the hilt of his sword in a casual stance. He was prepared if Yamato did anything to him or Aoi. There would be no standing aside for Nobu if the hothead chunnin acted out.

The jounin narrowed her eyes at Yamato as she practically radiated anger. This boy had a lot of nerve to talk to her this way. Shinobi or not, comrade or not, most would receive a beating for giving her the same treatment. But Tsukiko restrained herself from attacking Yamato, something which may or may not be visible to the others. "Listen up you little shit," Tsukiko began, before being interrupted by Nobunaga. It seems that he, and probably his dog, were both fairly level-headed. A trait that was only mildly annoying, but far nicer to handle than Yamato. She waited, surprisingly patiently, as Nobunaga put himself between Yamato and Aoi before they could start fighting as well.

But once he was done, Tsukiko spoke up immediately. "He doesn't have to have faith in me," Tsukiko said simply, in regards to the last point Nobunaga had. Her gaze drifted back to Yamato now. "Questioning things you don't understand is natural. That's how humans learn, after all. So how about this..." Tsukiko put her hands on her hips now, a cocky grin forming on her face. "Why don't we let Yamato here tell us exactly where these assholes are going? He clearly knows more than I do. I'm sure he can identify exactly which oasis in the desert they will stop at, and by extension he'll be able to find them all on his own in the first place. Piece of cake."

The grin vanished now. "I'm going to be honest here. This is a job that I could perform solo. I've done shit like this my entire professional life. Hunting shinobi is what I do, and tracking down dumbasses that think they can steal from shinobi is even easier. The presence of you three is to bolster the odds of recovering the scroll. Four pairs of hands give four chances at snatching it before they get a chance to destroy it. I like success. I'm sure you three do as well. So I'm going to utilize you three to the best of our abilities to guarantee that success." Her gaze drifted between all three of the chuunin, even looking down at Nobunaga's dog (which Tsukiko couldn't remember the name of) at one point.

"I am in charge of this mission. This isn't a democracy. I don't care about your suggestions or your feelings. I only care about succeeding. To save myself time and effort later on..." Tsukiko turned her gaze to Nobunaga specifically. "Inuzuka. I tolerate you the most right now. Keep doing what you're doing and I won't abuse you. But I will need you later to assist in tracking. Don't disappoint me." Now she looked to Aoi. "You dress too colorfully and vibrant, you stand out too much. Change your clothes before we leave into something that can't be spotted from miles away. And also: you better not goof around on the job or I will tape your mouth closed."

"And you." Now she was staring at Yamato again. Or more like staring through him. "I already see what type of person you are. You're an alpha male. I appreciate men who handle themselves with natural authority. But you're still a boy. Keep yourself in check, because you aren't the leader of this pack. If you keep stirring shit I will put you down like a dog with rabies. I am the alpha here. Don't fucking forget it. You're strong, but not strong enough." With that out of the way, Tsukiko let out a sigh. "Five minutes. To meet me at the East Gate. We'll be traveling fast so pack light, if you pack at all. I don't care if you get hungry or thirsty out there, so that's all up to you."

The jounin woman began walking away now, giving a casual wave over her shoulder as she departed. "I don't field questions and I don't care if you feel five minutes isn't enough time. All three of you are good shinobi, act like it." Tsukiko glanced over her shoulder, to look at the kids again. Their skills were valuable for this mission, but their personalities didn't sync well with hers. At all. They better cooperate on the job. Clashing with me is just annoying, but if they bicker with each other the entire way...

Minamoru and Reikan Diplomatic Relations Meeting
Rin
;Yamato

Takes place during the two-day timeskip.

Reijo walked along the sidewalk of the Smalltown district, fashioned in a Hyuga-styled kimono that was fit for diplomatic missions like these. Traditionalism was always an important aspect to the Minamoru clan, so it wouldn't make sense for him not to be wearing it. The direction they were headed in was the Reikan house. They'd be conducting some diplomatical talks today, and as much as Reijo hated the Reikan's for their ice release kekkei genkai, it was something that had to be done.

Tailing behind him was Yamato dressed in his regular attire, which consisted of a loose fitting deep gray tanktop, a denim jacket over that with long sleeves, as well as a set of black jeans underneath. Ofcourse he was wearing his black slip-ins, for ease. He looked rather bored as he had both his hands in his pockets, only going to this meeting because his father had asked him to - he'd gone on similar meetings with the Hyuga, who seemed okay to Yamato despite their kekkei genkai. They were traditional too, something Yamato could appreciate. The Reikan's were not that known to Yamato, so it remained to be seen what they were. They probably touted their ice release as a god's gift, rather than god's curse on them, however.

The Reikan manor sat on Lake Yomadaru. It was odd for a clan's main house to place resident on a lake, but given that the Reikan Clan isn't one of the highly-regarded ones in Konoha, it stood to reason that they wouldn't get a bigger spot like, say, the Uchiha Clan or even the Hyuga Clan. Sometimes the Reikan Clan had to sit down with the even lesser clans of the village to build relations and expand their territory, which was exactly what they were doing today. Luscious Reikan, the current head of the Reikan Clan, accepted a sit-down with Reijo Minamoru. The latter would be bringing his son, Yamato and Luscious would have his youngest, Rin with him.

"Master Luscious, the Minamoru's are here." A maid said, entering Luscious' study.
"Thank you. Please sit them in the living room." He said. The maid bowed.

Luscious was a man of a tall frame. He stood nearly seventy-seven inches and boasted a two-hundred weight. Combined with his near-butt length silver hair and cold, icy-blue eyes, he had quite the intimidating presence, something that he embraces to the fullest. For this diplomatic meeting, Luscious wore a simple navy-blue, male kimoto. It had edges of silver to match his hair. Speaking of which, his hair is tied in a series of ponytails overlapping each other.

As Luscious walked out of his study, Rin wasn't far behind him as she had been waiting for him outside the study. She herself had a light blue kimoto of her own, but this one had elegant designs of white snowflakes throughout. Edges of silver like her fathers. Rin had her hair down without any hairties or anything. It was in its natural form.

"I present the Lord Luscious and his daughter, Lady Rin." The servant said.

Reijo and Yamato walked inside the room in which they'd be meeting, which happened to be the living room. Reijo didn't look too surprised, as the Reikan's weren't noticeably big and strong unlike other clans, which had a considerable powerbase already “Luscious, Rin-chan.. good to see you once again. It's been some time since we last met. How is Rex?” he asked with a slight smile on his face, noticeably forced but well intended none the less. Reijo couldn't care less for Rex, whom he saw more as a threat than a nice addition to the village.

"Rex is fine. He is becoming the shining beacon of our family."Luscious said with pride. His eyes trailed to Rin as if stabbing her with disgust.

Yamato walked in slowly, hands still in pocket. He looked around carefully, surveying the living room and taking a look at the room, at the ornaments and valuables that he could see, in order to measure the Reikan family. Reijo would sit down at the table, sitting on his knees, and so Yamato would follow suit. They might be here for a while, his father had warned, so Yamato was prepared to make himself comfortable. Yamato kept his mouth shut the entire time so far as he sat down in similar fashion, looking at Lucious first, in an attempt to analyse who he was, before he'd look at Rin with a serious and mean face. Why did he have to be here.. Yamato wondered to himself as he stared at the girl.

"That was quite the ordeal your children went through at the warehouse, wasn't it? To think that Jashinists were framing your family. Truly disgustful." Luscious said pretending to actually give a damn about what happened, "you must have been scared, Yamato." Luscious said, turning his attention to Yamato.

Yamato was surprised but not unready to deal with Lucious. The man was being a pain already and they hadn't been here for five minutes. He let out a small sigh before he answered the man, closing his eyes for a minute as he looked down. He switched positions, too, removing his legs from under his butt and extending one under the table while pulling one of them up and placing his arm on his knee. As he opened up his eyes again he'd stare Lucious in the eye with the typical aggressive and rude Yamato look, furrowed eyebrows and curled down lips completing it. “Ah, I wasn't. I'm not a Naito, Luscious.” It was quite strange how Yamato talked to the man, using his first name without as much as a honorific.

Luscious smirked. "Right you are, Yamato." He said.

Reijo, Yamato's father, didn't give it a second thought, as he himself didn't particularly like Luscious either. It was more that he was forced to deal with them as the Uchiha's and Hyuga's weren't particularly trustworthy allies. Not that Luscious was, either. He simply stared Luscious down like Yamato did, except Reijo remained a calm and cool, serious composure.“What worried me more was the fact that Rei was captured. Rei is a classmate of Rin, I think. They could just as well have been after Rex and Rin. I'm not sure if I would've interfered like I did this time, if that were the case.”

"Rex is a capable shinobi. He wouldn't have had no trouble with simple Jashinists.I can't say the same for your daughter--" Yamato spoke up quickly, interrupting Lucious mid sentence without shame. If Lucious thought that Yamato was going to sit here while he insulted Rei, he should think again. “I didn't have any trouble with the Jashinists, Lucious. I also wasn't saying Rex would get captured. I was talking about what if Rin gets caught. My only issue would be if you'd spare the manpower to go rescue your daughter.” Yamato had caught on to the stabbing stare he had sent to Rin earlier, but had shut his mouth. It wasn't his place to decide on what Rin was doing right and wrong, but neither was it Lucious place to decide what Rei was and wasn't capable of.

Reijo sat in silence as the two bickered, not paying them much mind and simply waiting for Lucious to finish the ordeal. He knew just as well as Lucious that this deal had to go through regardless of what they thought - it would ensure the lives of their clans.

Rin's eyes went back and forth between her father and Yamato, but by the time Yamato had finished, her eyes were on her father. She already knew how he felt about her and how she was a disappointment to him and he reminded her of that constantly.Luscious closed his eyes, a smile laid upon his face. "Yes, well my youngest wasn't the one who got kidnapped, now was she?" Luscious' eyes then went to his daughter, "though, if she did, that would be very unfortunate for the Reikan name, now wouldn't it?" Luscious said, eyes now at Reijo.

If Lucious thought Reijo was going to reply, then he was probably wrong. Yamato spoke up again despite Lucious not looking at him. It was clear the boy couldn't care less if Lucious was technically an elder and superior. “Ah, no she wasn't. If you remember your history lessons, Lucious, you'd know that lady Hinata Hyuga got captured by hostile nin at one point. They were after her power, and in this case it was a similar situation. They didn't pick us because we were weak. Would you say Naruto Uzumaki's wife was weak, Lucious? I doubt it. Rei has potential. What of Rin?” he asked, with his face now resembling more boredom than anger at the man. It had become clear to Yamato that while the man was powerful and influential in some areas, there was little intelligence or tact to him. He moved his hand with an gentle movement to aim it at Rin, and then he looked at her as well. She had been quiet the entire time, and seemed to be just as uninterested in this meeting as he was. “Nanda, baka. Why are you only looking and not speaking. You know Rei, she is your classmate and a comrade, yet you don't speak up.”

"You might want to watch it, Yamato. There are some people out there who don't take kindly to informalities." Luscious simply said, ending whatever direction that particular discussion was heading. He, instead, turned his head to Rin. She had indeed been silent, but that was only cause she feared what her father would do to her if she said the wrong thing. "Go on dear, answer his question."

Rin looked at her father with a rather surprised look. Still, she would speak now, "I don't know her that well. She and I belong to different social circles." Rin said in a semi-low tone. “Yes, and so do I and the Naito clan. I hate their guts. Speak up.”

Without event thinking, Rin spoke, "If you forgive me for saying this, but your sister is too much of a goody-goody. She's a priss. Always listening to the teachers, always listening to what they say. It's like she has no backbone at all." Rin spoke her mind. How's that for speaking up?

Yamato would greet her answer with a slight smile, but his eyebrows remained furrowed and his eyes were angry as always “Ah, I suppose you're right. But those who don't listen to orders, even how stupid that order is, they die. You know this, right, Rin? Surely they taught you in school..”

"HAH!" Her voice elevated to a mild yell. "As if I care. I'm hardly even there for it to even matter." Rin kind of laughed that off, "besides, you're one to talk." Rin said, "My brothers tell me shit. They told me about how you almost got your ass beat by some thugs. So, don't talk like you're any better than me, cause you--"

"Rin, that's enough." Luscious said with an authoritative tone, ceasing what she was going to say. Rin suddenly went silent, her head slightly pointed down as she looked at the table. "I apologize for my daughter. She tends to let her mouth run off." Luscious said, "Reijo, I believe we should continue this without the children." Lusicous suggested.

Reijo bowed his head slightly and stood up, before following after Luscious to settle down somewhere else. Likely the real negotiations would start now, and they left Yamato and Rin behind on their own. An awkward silence ensued as Yamato stared Rin down, his eyes filling up with even more anger as his slight smile dissapeared. The hand that was resting on his knee clenched up into a fist as he looked into her eyes and spoke calmly.

“Your brothers have a big mouth then, for someone with a kekkei genkai. A curse of god. And a kekkei genkai that is weak to fire no less..” His words were ominous, and he added power to his words by clenching his fists even tighter, and using some chakra. A small burst of fire spew out from his clenched fist, as well as some smoke, indicating that he was a proficient fire user. An indirect threat, if you willed.

“Besides, Rin-chan, while you and your brothers were sitting around doing fuck-all, I was out risking my life fighting a trio of shinobi, whilst my 'team' consisted of idiots who I had to protect at all times, as well. Would your brother Rex, or your father Luscious, do the same for you?”

His words hit harder than shards of ice coated with chakra. Not about her brothers — she couldn't give two shits what he thinks about her brothers. No, it was that last bit about if Rex or her father would help her if she was kidnapped like Rei was. Rin wasn't at all sure if they would or not. She knew how they felt about her being the supposed disappointment to the Reikan name and even more so how her usage of Hyoton was the weakest of all the Reikan children.

"Just shut up." Her voice, while normal, was filled with anger, "You don't know shit." Rin stood up, her hands banged on the table making any of the cups that were on it fall over, liquid flowing out of them. "You're a self-entitled asshole who can't comprehend what it's like being the disappointment of the family. You can't possibly understand what it's like being the source of the family's disappointing looks." This time, Rin's voice oozed with emotion as she spoke her words to Yamato, not breaking eye contact for one second.

Yamato's gaze remained unchanged as she burst out in anger, still looking at her with an angry look. Never the less he was surprised the quiet girl from earlier had changed into something more intimidating. Not intimidating enough.. but it was more than he expected. Rin seemed remarkably angry but her voice didn't uncover as much, atleast not until she spoke her final sentence where Yamato noticed she was actually very much emotionally involved.

Nanda..? Don't tell me to shut up, shut the hell up yourself, baka.” he said with his hand still laying comfortably across the knee that he had pulled up. He wasn't impressed with her in the slightest. “I'm as familiar with a hard hand as the next person. My father is not a kind man. Neither am I. I know what a slap in the face feels like. Be happy you receive only dissapointing looks, rather than a slap in the face from the man that raised you.” he said calmly, as if he hardly cared, waving her comments away. He seemed more calm than usual, but there was still a burning fire in his eyes. Perhaps the Minamoru's had new allies in the Reikan's, Yamato certainly had a newfound enemy in this man named Rex, and the other Reikan brothers, who went around his back to speak ill of him. Where were they when his sister got kidnapped.. probably doing nothing, feigning to investigate the Jashinists. He'd get them one day.

“Besides, I will fight your brother one day. Mark my words, Rin. I'll beat him to a pulp so hard, your father will disown him, disinherit him and make him an outcast. His bloodline limit won't always save him... Perhaps you'll take the spotlight then.. it's up to you to see how you respond to that. Never the less.. Rei will be the same. If you insult her like you did before.. it won't be me that harms you, it will be Rei. She's a gentle soul, but those can crack, too.”

Slowly his hand dangled up and down while the angered Rin was still standing there, making this entire situation all the more frustrating for her most likely as she barely got a reaction out of Yamato. It'd take more than some yelling and smacking on tables to make him angry. “Ah. Before I forget.. your father is an asshole. I wonder why he didn't take Rex, if Rex was so esteemed as your father made it out to be.. to be honest, my father would probably find that a bit insulting..”

A slight grin toiled on his mouth, as he moved his pulled up leg slightly closer to the table and allowing his arm to reach forwards, grabbing a hold of the cup that Rin had spilled and putting it back straight up again. “I don't. Failures like you.. they have a tendency to be interesting. Don't forget that everyone hated Naruto Uzumaki, until he saved their asses. But don't attempt to insult or intimidate me again, Rin. That's not necessary, because you're not scary to me. And don't try it with Rei either. Just a warning.”

She just stood there still, hearing everything he had to say. It was an earful, but it was also the truth that Rin needed to hear. Not only that, but the vindication that he had in his voice when he spoke about fighting Rex, well Rin could feel it right down to her core. She knew that he meant it when he said that would beat Rex to a pulp. She knew that he meant it that he would beat Rex and would make Luscious disown him. Rin didn't have to respond verbally to that to know it was the absolute and utter truth.

When Yamato spoke about her father, she cracked up into laughter. It might have been weird considering the timing, but she just couldn't help it. It was so much that Rin nearly fell over to the floor. "Oh man, that's rich. You're a riot, Minamoru." Rin said, trying to break her words through her laughing. "We can both agree on that, for sure. My old man is a fucking dick." She said, her laughter fading slightly.

"And about your sister, maybe she should be less of a priss and actually have some personality." Well here she was. The real Rin has surfaced. "Maybe if she didn't be miss goody-goody all the damn time, then perhaps she wouldn't get a bad rap at being the Teacher's Pet." Rin said in a slightly elevated voice.

“Ah.. here you go.. I just warned you.. don't insult my family, baka. Rei might be a priss, but she's also dilligent and trains hard, despite not being as gifted as me. She wants to surpass me knowing it will never happen. That is the reason she is always in school, and that is the reason she listens to the teacher. Idiot.. when is the last time you did anything for school.. if you keep going like this I'll make sure I don't stop when I beat Rex..” he said while he looked her in the eye. He was losing his patience with this girl the more she insulted him and his family.

”If she trains so hard and pays such close attention to everything the instructors tell her, then how did she get kidnapped so easily?” Rin leaned in even further, almost right up to Yamato's face at this point. Yamato had now reached a breaking point and slammed his fist into the table. His eyes had picked up the fire again and his teeth were clenched together, and he'd push himself closer with his free hand still, his face barely a centimeter from Rin's face. Baka.. say that again and I will kill you. Were you there? Were your brothers? You know nothing of what happened there. I like to wonder what would've happened to YOU if you had been captured. Would you fight back against a dozen jonin leveled enemies? Some crazy Jashinist who wants you for your blood? EH?! Answer me, you piece of garbage. Your father would leave you to rot, and your brother wouldn't bat an eye! I saved Rei, and that's more than anyone else can say who wasn't there, so shut the hell up you idiot!

Rin laughed slightly as she stepped a few inches away from him as to try to distance herself from the obvious closeness that there was between her and Yamato. ”Fine, I get it. Line crossed or whatever.” Rin said taking a seat on one of the floor pillows. She began to at least set the rest of the cups in their upright positions. ”I'm going to my room. I've had enough of your company, anyway.” Rin said getting up, about to head to her room.

Yamato had now reached a breaking point and slammed his fist into the table. His eyes had picked up the fire again and his teeth were clenched together, and he'd push himself closer with his free hand still, his face barely a centimeter from Rin's face. “Ah, go do as you please. You're boring me, anyway.. if you see Rex or any other brother of yours, tell them I can't wait to melt his ice.”

Akio Tendou

This bites.

Akio was currently standing in a corner, watching Team Umene as they left. She had hoped to be put on the same team as the wild jonin, seeing as how she was the only jonin that Akio knew how to deal with, but there was no use complaining about it now. Still, she couldn't help the sigh of disappointment that escaped her lips after the hokage's assistant gave them all their missions. Oh well, probably better this way, else I'd probably have socked that Yamato bastard right in his mouth for his arrogant remarks. Just the thought of the green haired prick brought a scowl to her face, as she had been eavesdropping on the group's conversation from afar and didn't like the total lack of respect in his tone and words. Just cause he's got a little natural skill he thinks that he can do whatever the hell he wants to people and get away with it. Fucking bastard needs to have that pedestal he's standing on shoved up his ass.

Letting out another sigh, she turned towards her team, which bore the presence of another, significantly nicer, young prodigy in the form of Hideyoshi Sawada, as well as Saburo Uchiha and Takeshi Hanami. She had seen the uchiha around, always giving his weird overly complex greetings to people. He seemed nice enough, despite his quirks, so she was sure they'd be able to get along well enough on the mission, though any farther than that depends on her own willingness to actually converse with anyone. Takeshi was someone she barely knew, older boy that used to hang around the places she trained. They never really spoke much to each other that much though, just enough to get a general idea of the other person. Such is the way of loner's, I guess.

When Saburo had given his greeting, and Takeshi his reply, Akio had hesitated a good long while before finally walking from her corner. Her hood was up and covering her face, the only thing really visible from underneath the shadow was the gold of her eyes, her mouth, and a few locks of shiny white hair. She nodded at the two of them without a word, then slowly raised her fist and added it to the center.

"Name's Akio, nice to meet'cha and hope we get along." She then put her hands back in her pockets and lean against the wall, staring at their team leader to see what he'd have in mind for the mission. It seemed like a relatively simple op to her: get in, beat up yakuza, get the scroll, and get out. They had what seemed like the easiest job . . . which probably meant shit was going to hit the fan even harder for them, if Murphy's Law is to be believed.

Sentō Uchiha; Chidori Wizard

Team Ayame is dispatched and is in Kanabi Bridge. Sentō witnessed her mother, Ayame deliver authority, she was very envious yet grateful about it and for each mention of her name, she felt so high and taken priority that in many ways, she is her mother's second in command if she is not around. "Mom, you just said his leg huh? I actually got a new move and I want to try it out. I'm a cautious person myself, is it okay if I scatter my coins? Well I gave phones to everyone and I can hack them up in case we need back-up." Sentou asked Ayame about having her coins scattered, of course it would be rigged and cloaked, her request is very obvious as not only the coins are cloaked by the soil/sand in the ground, the coins have specific written seals such as barrage of coins, coins that are to explode due to the explosive seal or tag and all variations. She is counting on her self proclaimed brilliant plan judging from her carefree yet disturbingly cautious intuition and attitude.

"Aren't we entering Iwagakure territory? Because the Granite Guards, you know what I mean." The Granite Guards are elite Iwa Ninjas, they scatter themselves around Iwa and Kusa territory sort of like head hunters. Stone Village and have been in business for centuries about surprise security. They are pain in the ass to deal with, especially with their rowdy behavior, unpleasant indeed. "Lastly. WHY THE HECK DID YOU DYE YOUR HAIR BLACK? I kinda like the blonde one better. Then she glared heavily at Daiki. "Miss? Mom never misses. If she did, my coins and a Chidori Senbon is enough to solve the problem." Sentou took Daiki's question in a childish fashion, misunderstood him and thought that her mom will fail and all the negative thinking she can think of in her brilliant mind but at the same time, it is no surprise that Sentou is such a big worshiper or what people would call a fangirl. She is not only fangirling on her mom but hypes the hell out of her and hypes herself too in the process.

"Plan B? Tch... go for the kill, actually make it look like we're trying to kill him but we won't kill him." Sentou while talking didn't know that she stripped subconsciously and is just wearing her underwear/bra.
