Hate to be picky with you but a tent 7ft² would be only about 2m², the size of a large shed; but a tent 7m² would be almost 23ft², the size of a small flat. For now I'm presuming it's 7m², since CC deserves a nice flat of her own.

Presuming it is ft²/m² that is, since the description just say how tall and wide it is, not how deep. It might be two-dimensional, like a magic doorway standing in the middle of the field.
