[OOC] Star Wars - Scum and Villainy

Alright, I think I set the scene. We'll be starting on this ship, after each of us has received a job offer from an unnamed employer. You can start on the ship introducing your character, meeting other characters, brooding alone in a corner, or whatever else you like. I'm assuming Sep will be the one to bring us to the meeting itself, where all the details will be explained.

Thinking about it, I should probably mention that Ssi-ruu aren't really well-known in the galaxy. It isn't impossible for one to know about them, they are just kind of a fringe species that aren't really in the galactic community.

Back to work, but got my char ready in my head for when I finish today. Be home in about four and a half hours.

Mhm I don't mind people using real slang, but to stop excessive swearing try to use these. Note: "Emperors Black Bones" doesn't work yet because he's not dead yet.

You can just star wars them up :P "Kriffing" typically replaces "Fucking" in the SW universe. Also after reading your post, with the sword I hope you don't plan to go Deadpool/Deathstroke on us.

Also back on your sheet it still says they sponsored the Empire and the Empire gave them wealth and slaves. I did ask you to tweak this as the actual EMPIRE wouldn't. They were pretty strict on crime and while they went more lax with the Rebellion they didn't relax on Coruscant as the Rebels typically used criminals to aide their cause.

I don't mind it, I actually quite like the char. But I am meaning more in terms of skills. I don't mind multiple personalities having different views on things and different ways to do things but having each excel at something else makes you pretty strong :P

Oh but the switch between takes a very long time and each of them have faults. Hidan is too kind hearted, Scourge is too brash and Assassin isnt very good at talking to people

Yes, but I'm not overly fond on you having a char that can essentially be an assassin, tank and a pilot (Think that's what Hidan was). I just didn't know how you were going to play it when you first joined. They can each be reasonable but if you're going to be all three they can't be experts.

The RP is letting us all have our Star Wars badasses, but they're limited to one area. I'm melee/close combat, Elite is a tank, Basket is a pilot etc.

Hidan is more of a face. He doesn't do the fighting, he is the charmer. Assassin... Yeah, he's an assassin. Scourge..... They are all the same person yes? They have the same build, just different personalities. Scourge is the crazy and brash one who messes it up for the team. Scourge does what he wants and can do the switch whenever he wants, though he has to do it secretly without the other two knowing. The team may be doing a diplomatic scene and then Scourge just ruins it all by switching. Scourge is not a tank. Scourge is the personality that hurts the team. Hidan can't do anything about it because it's his own head. He's not a tank because they all have the same body, their body doesn't become muscle bound when Scourge comes in, the body will not become lighter when Assassin comes in. They have their body and they work with it. Hidan isn't the pilot because he isn't qualified, Scourge doesn't know how to pilot but wanted to pilot so he did, Assassin isnt qualified either.

All right I just thought you were dishing out skills quite differently. If the main difference really is how they approach the situation then I'm fine with that.

Though bear in mind your char does cross over a bit skill wise, and I am fine with that but just remember other people are specialized and focus on that one thing :P

To everyone, please don't feel intimidated by my posts. I just start typing and can't stop, it happens when I find an rp I like. They might get smaller later, since it's still intro stuff going on right now.
