Zombieland Or Walking Dead Anyone?

Hey everyone! Wanna kill some zombies?

I posted either Zombieland Or Walking Dead based on two reasons. They are two different types of stories based on comedy versus drama. Also time line is a factor as well. When the Walking Dead starts with Rick Grimes its months past the outbreak. Zombieland, on the other hand, is a tad more recent but the virus killed mass numbers in a fast time period. I am willing to make both depending on what people would like to try out. Each story I have different character ideas for and different plot lines as well. If you are interested please let me know and i will make the OOC's

I love both stories but if I was to pick one for RPing in I would go with something closer to walking dead. I love zombie RPs but I don't really work well with comedy in them. This does not mean I am not open for Comic relief, In fact I love that kind of skills. But if you were to open up a RP I would definitely try out a walking dead style one. I am looking for more RPs to try out and Zombie ones are my favorite ones. Even ran a few over the last few months. Some turned out kinda decent until activity was lost....

So ya if you open a RP i'd be interested in it!

Awesome! Thanks for showing interest :P I will definetely consider making a Walking Dead one first if anything :) running two zombie rps is almost second nature for me when I am in the mood for it :) Thank you very much

No problem man, and if you can run both RPs at once go for it! I think it is a good idea to try out all your ideas. That is kinda the point of the site isn't it?

I'm totally down for Walking Dead one because fitting comedy into an apacolypse (for me personally) is really kinda hard so yeah

I do understand that a walking dead rp is more preferable. However, there is more than one walking dead rp on this site and many on other sites. Zombieland actually isnt a funny film, its based off how many people dont know what to do. Or how the most hard men and women are actually sensitive and caring. How in the worse times you can always count on people in the same conditions. So long as you realise that funny doesn't mean "Then he fell off the ladder" and more "As he fumbled for his keys, sliding them in he realised that the car was unlocked".

You see the difference. Zombie land stops players from being 'I have a chainsaw and a machine gun. Its allowed because its been a long apocalypse' but with a zombie land its 'Ive got a shovel, a broom handle and a nail gun I found on the floor' yes its more weapons but they are household and normal.

I vote for zombie-land. It will be better if we take a apocalypse that is new and limit the ammount of gungho fighters or soilders.

Alright so I have four votes for Walking Dead and one vote for Zombieland. As I said before I plan on probably making both and running them at the same time. I am going to make the Walking Dead thread first later tonight if I can and then I will create my Zombieland thread. I have two different plots for each so I can keep them different from each other. Walking Dead is going to be more realistic as far as trying to find food and will not be any original characters so please don't ask to be Daryl. There is a similar expectation for Zombieland (you cant play Tallahasse) but I am keeping that your character nickname has to be a city or even a state if you character doesn't have a specific city he/she wants to go to.

I shall post below when I have the threads for each of them posted but I am still hoping more people post interest on either of them :) Have it up as soon as I can guys

Zombieland definitely! Not only on this RP site, but on multiple others house a crap ton of walking dead RP's. Normally they aren't a problem; but most people don't understand how to implement drama, and usually start off going to a house and trying to meet other RPers. Zombieland on the other hand; is a perfect idea for RP purposes due to the flexibility of it. Sure, it's a somewhat comedic writing style, but people don't plan on killing off their characters anyway, so it would fit fairly well in my opinion.
