Man, I get stuck with Duty for a day, meaning I can't get off the boat, and the argument on assets continues unabated. Good to see, really! And on another note, I've begun brainstorming a protagonist sort, since Khorne has been woefully under represented here so far. And he has relations to a certain member of the retinue, because drama.

Alright I've posted.

This week is going to be a busy one. The Necron Lord just got released for Dawn of War 2's Last Stand. The Battlefleet Gothic beta came out just yesterday and boy is it heavy on the micro.
Difficult and very satisfying once something goes right. My first battle I learned how to pull hard turns, so I swung one of my torp-cruises around to face a Chaos cruiser in close range to point blank him with a volley of torpedoes. It's also very pretty.
I really need to brush up on my 40k naval lore bits though, I found myself looking at the ship variants going, "shit man i dont know any of this"

I know, that caught me off guard something fierce. Straight out of left field for that one, at least for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my first round with him, ended up reaching wave 18 in Anvil of Khorne with a higher level ally Overlord and an Ork Mekboy. Necron Overlord is mighty powerful.
