@Narcotic Dollie When Ali stabbed her own goddamn shoulder I literally gripped my own and whisper screamed "brutal as all hell!" xD I was not expecting that jfc
Actually, do you know what idea I like better? I've been thinking about it and maybe it'd be far more interesting if we each played another's parent. The GMs still get to delegate and we still end up playing parents but now we aren't RPing with ourselves the whole time. @Lionheart
The Mayor is a retired hero. Think of him as Santa claus mixed with a lumberjack and a viking- with a little dash of Socrates. The mayor, for all his brawn, knows how to lead his people. Never play him as simply the man with muscle- he has a brain too.
The Doctor is humble. He refuses acknowledge his royal roots because court life is as cut-throat as it is extravagant. He doesn't want his daughters future to be filled with lies and deceit. While Alixanna is away play him as grief stricken and afraid.
The Ranger is all about justice. He's like a cop to Vale. So have him dutifully patrolling until Alixanna returns. He isn't worried about Varric. But for his wife, Marianne, make sure to mention that he worries for her. She's what makes him weak.
The Thief should be played as cold and ruthless- snarky and rude. She's a bitch but she is willing to help the children, I believe, and will be some sort of salvation to the whole situation. You can find out how.
The Bard...Ask Adorabadass. Or simply make her act like Varric but with a more feminine allure.
The blacksmith is the one character I regret not playing before I left. She's amazing, what I had in mind for her. Loud and proud- fiercely protective of her son. She's a woman of action with no fears but the safety of her boy.
