Adam opened the door for Lola and Luke, but he instantly stiffened when he saw Lola's necklace. She had the same color gem. He looked up at her, his expression paling. He was her soulmate? He smiled sheepishly and said "hey guys." He looked at Lola and said "what are the flowers for?"

Adelisa sighed and said "it's okay… as long as the music isn't horrible. You remember the last party?" She shivered in disgust. The last party was all pop and girl-next-door music. A night full of Katy Perry and Taylor Swift would send anyone to the psych ward. She glanced at Adam and smirked. "Would she mind if we took over the music for a few minutes to an hour?" She looked back at Alice and said "maybe you could listen to Adam jam on his guitar", she wiggled her eyebrows.

[Kitty]

"I really don't do much besides play soccer. Wow that's sounds kind of sad but oh well." Blake replied to his question, she then blushed slightly at his comment before she picked up a ball and began to do some keepsie upsies while talking to him. "The only way I'm ever busy is with soccer, I honestly don't have much of a social life unless I'm forced to go to a party with some of my friends." Blake said shaking her head at the times some of her friends and/or soccer girls have dragged her to a party. She somehow always ended up as the DD, it really wasn't that surprising.

He nodded and smiled softly. "Well, I'm having a bonfire party tonight. Would you like to be my plus one?" Raleigh crossed his arms and raised his eyebrow. "Please? All of the swim team would be jealous of me!" He chuckled and flashed his glowing smile.

[Kitty]

Blake smiled and nodded. "Sure. Sounds like fun." She said as she caught her ball and stopped her keepsie upsies. She walked over to her soccer bag and grabbed a pen out of the side pocket. Blake walked back over and grabbed his hand writing her number and address on it. "Text me what time your picking me up. See ya then." Blake said giving him a smile and a wink before grabbing her stuff and heading to the locker room where she changed and headed home to take a shower and get ready.

Luke started to feel a bit warm inside. It wasn't because it was hot or anything, he knew it was something else but couldn't quite pinpoint the reason as to why he felt this way. The only clue he had was that he felt this way everytime he saw Alice from afar. He decided to shrug it off. He attempted to talk.

"He- Hello Alice, n- nice to see y- you." Luke said.
Why am I stuttering? Calm down Luke.
He then noticed Adam, and put up two fingers as a way to say hello. "Well then, Hey Adam, nice to see you, Ya know I'm not good with this kind of stuff but Happy Birthday anyways"

I guess I will text Ryan since everyone seems to have gotten their necklaces while I was alseep, "Hey I got the necklace out today. I can't wait to meet up soon and show ya. It is nicer than I expected, but I still don't know what to do, and whether I should follow it or not..."I have no clue what to do. I think I will follow my instincts for now but still wear this until I know more. ANyway talk and see ya soon! Bye~Jess" Ugh Ryan will know, I just need to listen to some music and get some sleep so I don't crash for a day again.

Raleigh looked at his hand and grinned. Finally! He smiled and grabbed his bag, getting in his car. The boy raced home and made sure to take a long shower so he wouldn't smell like soccer and boy. He put on a button up and a pair of khaki shorts. He looked in the mirror and nervously played with his hair. Part it to the right or left? Slicked back? He left it normal and a little shaggy before he finally got the nerve to text Blake.

Blake took a quick shower to get off the soccer grime before she got dressed into some jean shorts, a pair of brown sandals, and a white tank that had the hang loose symbol on it. Underneath was a swimsuit knowing that people often end up in the water during these things. She pulled her hair up into a ponytail letting her hair dry naturally, only applying some mascara as makeup. When she was done getting ready she saw the text from Raleigh and smiled replying back. No, you have to wait another few hours. She sent as a tease before sending another one Just kidding, I'm ready :P. Blake walked downstairs and out to her front porch as she waited for him to arrive, her phone tucked away safely in her back pocket.

Raleigh got in his car and drove over to Blake's. Slowly turning into her driveway, he took a last look and parked. He got out and waved, starting to walk up to her porch. "Wow. I feel over dressed, but you look great so I guess it doesn't even matter." He smiled softly and took her hand gently. "to the party, my lady?"

Blake smiled genuinely and gave a slight curtsy. "Off we go sir" She said mimicking his proper language. When she got in the car she turned to him. "If anything I feel under dressed compared to you. But the last time I went to a bonfire I wore a nice shirt and nice shorts then got thrown in about eight, maybe nine times by the lovely people called drunk jocks" Blake said jokingly. "Oh and just so you know, I think you look good in khakis she told him. Not sure where her confidence was coming from, she usually struggled with flirting with guys but talking to Raleigh somehow came easy for her. Why? She did not know.

"Drunk jocks...my favorite." He laughed, buckling up. He started to back out and turned towards the beach. "Oh, you look good. You look like you belong there." Raleigh turned his face to look at her and smile. "Well thank you ma'am. I wanted to look a little nicer for you."

Ryan swore loudly; of all the times her phone could pick to die on her, it had to be now. Grumbling she dropped downstairs, plugging it in, before collapsing on the couch. Today looked like it'd be an inside day.

Scowling in protest as Rex started attacking the sofa, Ryan batted him away, blinking her eyes open, she yawned and dragged herself over to the fridge. She'd fallen asleep in the middle of the day, never a good omen. Taking a swig of milk, Ryan headed back out to the lounge and checked her phone. Two texts were waiting for her attention, one from Blake, reading it she realized that there was no way Blake was still at the school. Biting her lower lip, Ryan flicked to the other text from Jess. A small grin slipped across her face, tugging at the corners or her mouth.

Hey Jess :), I found my necklace, I'd lost it under my bed. Typical me huh? :) I don't believe in them that much, well at all. Are you doing anything today? Or this evening I guess. :) Let's meet up. Anywhere in particular you wanna go? Bring your necklace and show me, yeah? Ryan

She sent her reply, humming softly, hoping Jess would reply soon.

I can't sleep and don't know why. Could it be this necklace? Hmm. I think instead of wearing it I'll keep it in my pocket of my jacket. How are we supposed to rely on a colored gem to show us our true love for life? How can something so simple have such a meaningful impact on my life? It can't. I'll just put it away. This is just fantastic.I guess I can try texting Ryan again later so I am not being too intrusive. Times like this I need more friends. I need to figure out this gem.

Alice shyly looked at the ground as Adelisa teased her. She never got the chance to hear Adam play the guitar, and the thought of that seemed... Way cool. "I honestly don't really know what she planned, maybe I should text her?" she said.

She then pulled out her phone and began to text Lorelei, "Hey girl, what are the party deets again? Thanks love!"

Alice was a bit confused by Luke's behavior. Why was he stuttering around her? Usually he seemed so calm and controlled. She gave him a gentle smile and said, "Nice to see you too. So, you're coming to the party for sure right?" She didn't really know what to say to him so she was making simple conversation.

I felt my phone vibrate with the text from Ryan! Sweet She will help me with this mess. Heh under the bed huh? Classic Ryan.Hey Ryan let's meet up at the park I really want to walk and need your help with this necklace I don't know what to do~Jess I am getting really tired of this necklace drama.

Lorelei sat up and looked at her phone. It was alice. She smiled and texted away:
hey! Sorry about earlier. I promise I will explain later! The party is two days at my place and don't worry! The music selection is to their liking. I think I got a hint from the last time.

Where are my earbuds? I know I left them somewhere around here! Oh there on my bed of course. Now where are my converse? By my window. Ok now I am going to walk to the park, I need to let off some steam. I hope Ryan can meet me. I also look for a wall to add the new drawing I designed, better tell Adelisa or she will bite my head off when she finds I put something up without her.Hey Adelisa I drew this awesome design that needs to be shown to the world, I will text you when I find the perfect canvas. She didn't have to wait long. Reading Jess's text, Ryan's grin grew even broader. The park huh? She flicked a quick text back agreeing, before bounding up and sorting her stuff out. Unplugging the phone she grabbed her brown-grey satchel, dropping her phone in and swinging it over her shoulder, letting it sit on the opposite hip. Grabbing a blue hoodie from her room Ryan pulled on her soft brown army boots, lacing them tight. Leaping down the stairs she called a goodbye to anyone who might be in the house, before swinging her way up the pavement.

The park wasn't too far from her house, so she made it there in good time. Dropping down on a bench she waited, Jess would know where to find her, they had often sat here before, complaining about the world, bragging about new stuff, generally just being friends.

Reaching into her bag, Ryan withdrew her ipod and headphones, slipping them on she thumbed through songs till she found one she liked. Singing softly along she leaned her head back, her foot tapping to the beat.

I didin't think I would keep Ryan waiting considering I left right after, make that about 10 minutes after I texted her I was heading towards the park. Then again I did detour to look for a canvas. oh well. There she is at our bench. I wonder if I should tell her about those guys I saw this week...Maybe depends what she says about this stupid necklace. I do wonder who they were though. I better take my earphones out so I can hear her, and get my sketch out. I bey she will like it. I know its awesome and will be even better on the right spot. I wish I could throw this necklace away but I can't. Wait maybe Ryan can hold onto it! Oh sorry I took longer than expected. I couldnt find my earbuds, and then when I finally found them in my bed I could not find my converse until I saw them by my window. Hey Ryan want to see my necklace? If you want you can even keep the retched thing! I am getting annoyed by it. Or we could just burn it in a pot of fire chanting "ding dong the chain is dead the wicked chain is dead!" you can choose, I am happy with all of the above options.
How is Rex also? I need to come over more often to see my little feline buddy! That cat is awesome. Maybe he would want the necklace? Nah. Anyway lemme see yours, I have been wondering what mystical color you got.

Glancing up as Jess sat down, Ryan grinned a greeting, tugging of her headphones and pausing her music. "Sure I'd Love to see you necklace." she stressed the word love a play on how the necklace was supposed to reflect the same as your 'one true love'. "I think I have mine here somewhere." Fishing through her pockets she hooked the grey-stoned necklace out, letting the light glint for a second as it dangled from her fingers. "As for me keeping it, are you sure? I mean I can hold onto it if need be, but let's not burn it, much as that would satisfy me, the fire and all, you know, but if it's anything like mine they are kinda pretty, ……if not something I really believe in." She smiled here, lighting up her face. "I'll keep it for you. Rex is stunning by the way, he brought me another bird yesterday, why can't he just catch rats?!"
