I nominate that the pirates use the Mord as a projectile weapon and launch him at the imperial bastards. He is basically a cannon ball right? XD

Guys, the hunters ship needs a cool name. I actually like just "The Hunter". What, too inconspicuous?
Edit: Also, who was the one out of the three that would have hired me as a mercenary? Might come into it later.

@Medjedovic Question: Do Mords have chinks in their armour, for example gaps for the elbow joints, knee joints and the armpits. That might be important. If they are full enclosed suits of plate with no gaps in the armour, then surely their movement would be impended.

@RoflsMazoy Wait till you get points for them.

@Lone Wanderer There are some gaps in plate armor, but those are covered with chainmail and leather. Still their armor is tightly fit so even those gaps are small.

@MedjedovicI mean, it sounds reasonable, since it is their skin basically. Without it I would imagine them to be quite vulnerable. In other news, only hope is to just beat the shit out of them I suppose, just like anything else.

@Desire Mate, you don't know that Shuda is working for the army.

BTW, ashans are the ones who stereotypically have ten foot pole up their backside, it's weird to have one think that about anyone else xD

@MedjedovicWell he was raised as an Artist, so I don't think that came with his upbringing. He's just kind of an asshole to people and thinks that everyone is below him if they're not part of the red sun. You know?

And if he didn't notice that by his appearance, the ship, etc., what would he think he is?

@DesireAdventurer with lots of money and time? Employee of some criminal groups over whose toes Veela stepped?

Shuda isn't wearing officer uniform and the ship is not a military ship, so it shouldn't be obvious he's working for the military.

Just for clarification, the Sundancer would be nearly vertical right now right? Because the Harpoons would make it pivot around The Hunter?

Images for clarity.

Pre-killing engines by Sundancer

Post-killing engines by Sundancer

This also means that the Sundancer would hit the ground first right? Afterall, The Hunter still has it's engines running so while it's being dragged down, it's above the Sundancer

Lastly, I don't believe anyone on The Hunter ship can do anything about The Harpoons except give it more slack so that the Sundancer hits the ground a greater time before The Hunter. The harpoons themselves have to be removed from the Sundancer which no one from The Hunter ship is on.

@Stormlight3 They would be directly under them and somewhat vertical, correct, but with the hunter ship tugging upwards it would be a somewhat slower decent than air fall. They would hit first but the Hunter ship would not have time to unlatch, turn course and stop their force downwards before hitting the ground. Albeit a lot softer than the Sundancer, probably still destroy both ships. If they're mechanical top of the line harpoons, I'm assuming they pierce in and then once they get in, the tip expands to clutch the ship. In theory, if there was a mechanism, you could unclench the tip and have it slip through the hole you made in the hull, effectively retrieving it.

Either that or they could simply detach the chains of the harpoon? As in, don't attempt to pull the chains out of the Sundancer but rather, remove the pivots that are connecting the chains to the Hunter ship. If everyone on the Hunter ship can't actually do anything then I'll change my post!

@NarcissisticPotato Oh don't worry, we could do that or retract them, but you don't have to change your post. I like it! We have a plan, don't you worry.
