Efah is famous for her ability to hypnotize beings into falling asleep whether temporarily or eternally, and devour their dreams so that they experience numbness in their subconscious mind. She is also famous for her "blood boiler" and "blood freezer" technique where she controls the temperature of a demon's blood depending on the situation. She can either make their blood soar to very high degrees until they burn to death from the outside out, or she can have their blood descend to very low temperatures where they freeze to death. She is also very quick on her toes, and can fly using her wings. Efah possesses the typical abilities of a demon as well, such as enhanced strength and analytical skills.

Brief Background
Efah is the last sibling of the four siblings of Hell. It is said that when she was born, the entire realm of Hell remained silent for six days because she entered the realm sleeping. No one wanted to wake her. As a young child, she was heavily indulged by her father with gifts as any last child would be. She spent more time with her father than she did with anyone else, and remained amused by his stories of Heaven, Earth, and Hell for years and years. Efah was quickly desensitized to graphic events and stories at quite a young age. When her father was away on trips, she grew a close relationship to the Nanny as well. For a child who was used to getting her way, she was very passive and wasn't interested in getting into trouble. She has a fondness for human alcohol and sweets as well. Efah discovered her ability at the age of ten when she used it on the Nanny and devoured his dreams for a night. Guiltless, she practiced it more on demons until devouring dreams became a normal thing for her. She is very numb to unfortunate events, and has even hinted to have inherited her father's sadistic pleasure of someone else's misery.

Brief Background
Tatsuya was born the eldest of a wealthy family in Japan. He led a very peaceful and leisurely life, usually spending his days reading or messing with his younger brothers. Though he disapproves of his businessman father's cold manner, he knows that the man only wants the best for the family, and thus Tatsuya works very hard in school to maintain being the top of his class. He is fairly popular, famous for giving his fun tour guides around Karui Academy and being quite popular with new students.

Gideon

The First Sibling, Master of Garmr

Theme: Hedgehog's Dilemma/The Valedictory Elegy

Prominent Ability: Gideon's weapon of choice a pair of longswords, which he wields in conjunction effortlessly. Like many of Hell's denizens he is a master of the sword. Beside his mastery with the blade he is noted for fighting with a companion, Garmr, one of the many Hellhounds that have at one time watched Hell's gates. Garmr is almost three times the size of the Human's Great Danes, has extremely sharp claws and tusks, and has the ability to shoot fire from his mouth. Gideon has been linked with Garmr since birth and has the ability to summon the creature at will. In battle Garmr and Gideon are a potent tag team, reading each other and working in conjunction perfectly.

Brief Background: Gideon was the first son of the Devil, born to a she-demon of little import. On the day of Gideon's birth the Hellhound Garmr manifested itself by his mother's birthing bed for reasons unknown, and from that day on the Gideon and the hound were an inseparable pair. As Gideon grew he and Garmr became known as a formidable duo, honing their combat skills together in preparation for the inevitable day where Gideon would have to fight his siblings. When Gideon and his siblings were sent to earth Garmr came with him, powerful magic allowing the beast to morph between his usual form and that of a normal Malamute at Gideon's will. While some of his siblings embraced Human culture Gideon instead found himself above it all, believing the Human's and their influence to be below him. He's become known as a 'loner' in the Human school they attend, not wanting to associate himself with them. Despite his rebukes some Human's have taken an interest in him, something that can likely be attributed to his attractive Human appearance. He does have a good side beyond his elitism, actually considered to be one of the more personable demons in Hell.

-Good: Kureha is a friendly and guileless girl, she's also very good at sports and physical competitions, and surprisingly knowledgeable about nursery and domestic affairs.

-Bad: On the other hand, Kureha isn't very good with academic subjects, and her ingenuity often places at difficult situations, moreover, because she's secretly insecure, Kureha tends to overwork herself if no one calls her on that.

Brief Background:

Kureha is the second born of a family of five siblings, her older brother is currently attending a college on a far away place and her parents are rarely at home because of their jobs, leaving Kureha responsible for her grade schooler siblings most of the time. To complicate things further, recently her family has moved away from their previous home to the traditional Japanese house that belonged to her recently deceased grandparents, which was located at an old part of the city, next to a huge western-style mansion inhabited by a peculiar lot.

Right after she transferred, Kureha joined her new school's volleyball team and, thanks to her innate talent she quickly became know as the "Queen of the Court", garnering a lot of attention from both boys and girls alike. She also found a part-time job at a nearby bookstore so that she could save some money for her dream of attending a good college someday, though she doesn't think it'll be ever possible for thick skulled girl such as she. Little did she knew that her fate was about to change because of certain boy from her class.

Magically Adept
Abaddon has a potent magical affinity which stems from his vast intellect. While his focus on magic allows him to have a versatile set of spells ranging from laughably useless to extremely dangerous at his disposal, it also makes him slightly weaker in terms of physical strength in comparison to his siblings, as he doesn't train his body as they would. In addition, Abaddon tends to use his magic for extremely menial tasks, and constantly runs the risk of being discovered as a result. So far, Abaddon has found the most usage in his illusion magic, which removes his need for a human form (at least, he thinks it does).

Brief Background:
Third born of the King of Hell, with a demonic mother whose name has been recently removed from records following a traitorous coup, Abaddon showed great promise at an early age. He commonly conversed with the lost souls and denizens of the underworld, although he found the most interest in speaking to those of a great understanding of particular subjects, namely earth itself. Abaddon commonly talked to the souls of the intelligent, which subsequently inspired and prompted him to become significantly more studious and thoughtful himself.

It was no surprise that Abaddon was one of the most excited to engage in the world walk. Earth was a whimsical place to him. All of his knowledge of the place came from both books, and the stories of the academic souls found in hell. He was quick to embrace human culture (despite getting it wrong occasionally), and even quicker to study it. So much so is his enjoyment on earth that he was likely the least disturbed by the closing of the gate, and likely wouldn't mind staying on earth that much longer. Abaddon has become particularly interested in the internet, where he now gains most of his ideas regarding his petty revenge and pranks.

Positive Traits:

Intellect
Time spent speaking with the long-dead souls of scholars and academics in addition to Abaddon's already studious nature has granted him a great deal of intelligence regarding both hell and earth, more so than the average demon. This grants him an advantage when it comes to planning, understanding magic and general problem solving.

Manipulative
Stemming from his heritage, Abaddon has the manipulative nature befitting your everyday demon. He sees himself as a chess master, and everyone else is on the board. This trait works in conjunction with his intelligence, and serves as his main form of getting people to play into his plans, be it for self-gain or for something ridiculously pointless.

Mischevious
In addition to his manipulative nature, Abaddon commonly makes it a hobby to cause trouble for classmates and siblings alike. Normally through long-winded plans that end in mundane pranks; most of which he finds on the internet.

Negative Traits:

Arrogant
Both his intelligence and his magical adeptness make Abaddon extremely arrogant to the point of severely underestimating his fellow classmates and siblings, sometimes ruining whatever plans that he's made for certain people.

Perfectionist
Abaddon's high standards sometimes conflict with what he and others are actually capable of. There have been many times where Abaddon has not finished class work, or has been put into complete despair about test scores, simply because they were not perfect enough to him.

Petty
While he remains rather calm and collected when everything goes according to his desires, Abaddon is prone to seeking vengeance over the most minor and stupid of things. Most recently, he has been seeking vengeance because somebody accidentally stepped on his shoe.

Human Appearance:
Unlike his other siblings, Abaddon's demon form is humanoid enough to pass off as a human without the need for a different form. Through the use of illusion magic, he makes it so his ears appear significantly more human. This raises the issue of his horns, which do not appear to come off. However, Abaddon uses illusion magic to make it appear as though his horns are removable when he is questioned about them, which leads people to believe they are fake.

Demon Name/Title: Adramelech/ The First Sibling, The Crown Prince, The Silver Tongue
Age: 17
Prominent Ability: Inspiring envy, lust and greed in others, the kind that turns people into the basest, most cutthroat version of themselves. <- His effect on people. In Hell, his leadership skills mean that he has innate and absolute control over nearly every creature/monster, and is prepared to assume control of the armies of Hell. His persuasive language also exerts considerable influence among lower demons, but not on his family. He prefers subterfuge and underhanded methods to open combat, but is competent with most weapons. He has the base abilities of all demons- stronger and faster than the best human.
Brief Background: As the oldest of the siblings, he has always been expected to know the most and to be the best. He's been satisfactory so far- never too much encouragement from the Devil. He never really got in trouble growing up, keeping a flawless profile even from a young age. He has a less flashy modus operandi, understanding the darker side of human nature very well. He prefers to tempts them in the most pleasant ways, or in ways they don't notice. Assuring them they're in the right, he's noticed, works best. Despite this knowledge, and previous brief trips to the human world, he isn't entirely conversant with their ways and has proceeded to learn.
Traits:
+Protective of his siblings - As the de facto leader, he views his siblings as his responsibility. They are they only people he feels any loyalty to, and he considers the fact he has to kill them negligible for now.
+Persuasive - A smooth talker, he's good at flattery, and bringing people's desires to light, as well as convincing them of almost anything.
+Fast Learner - He's a voracious learner, reading a lot of human literature, and quickly assimilating himself into their society. He picks up most skills very quickly. At the moment he's discovering human music, and is rather confused by the cacophony that is Justin Bieber. He likes Jazz, though, and rock music. He gets music from iTunes and is yet to discover the rest of the Internet.
-Condescending - A side effect of his leadership role and status as the eldest means that he tends to talk down to others. He's smart, but too aware of this, which works against him. The only time he isn't condescending is when he's being persuasive, or when it's part of a larger plan.
-Selfish - He isn't willing to share the things or people he believes are his. He's suspicious of anyone who gets close to his siblings.
-Power hungry - Groomed to be a leader, Adramelech is prepared to rule over absolutely everything. He's reluctant to relinquish control of any situation, and considers no price too high for rule of Hell.

She usually wears a long dark red tshirt with short sleeves and black leggings with sneakers, and is never seen without her white beanie.

Traits
+Active. Akane is an energetic, fidgety girl. She loves virtually every sport and is particularly good at soccer. Her favourite means of getting around is her skateboard.
+Funny. Akane cracks jokes all the time and loves to laugh.
+Sharp. Not exactly book smart, Akane is good at reading people and situations, and has a good eye for detail.
-Blunt to the point of rudeness. She's brutally honest without meaning to be, lacking a mental filter.
-Lazy. She dislikes putting in effort, especially in school. She doesn't consider sports as requiring effort.
-Forgetful. She's constantly forgetting where she puts things or things she's supposed to do. She's also notoriously bad with names.

Background: Akane is a normal child with a normal family. She's the middle child, with an older sister in college and a younger sister one year away from high school. She had a fun childhood, always encouraged to do the things she liked and do them well. She's adored by her parents, being the proverbial last born who gets attention. She's very playful, loves to be the centre of attention, and loves to act. Her mother is encouraging with regards to her acting, hoping Akane will follow in her footsteps and join the theatre. Her father, although fond of her, desperately awaits the day when she sits up and becomes a serious student. She's heard the new boy in her class is particularly smart, though, and hopes that maybe he can help her out in school. Plus, he looks like he needs some Akane in his life ^~^ *she dances* It'll be a win win, or so she thinks.

{Brief Background}
Due to her parents' work, Hitomi has had to move all around Japan throughout her school days, rarely living in one place longer than two years. This has led to some difficulty in keeping long-term friends, and only has a few contacts that haven't simply petered away completely. Despite this, however, Hitomi tries hard to be a good friend to people, and tries to endear herself to others.
Since the start of the school year, Hitomi has managed to become known as that one clumsy, silly girl that'll do just about anything you ask with a smile, which hasn't exactly always attracted the best people, but... at least she always means well?

Bio: Definitely a nerd but not quite an otaku or a hikikomori, Haruto is the son of an ultra-nationalist right-wing politician (his mother) and a financially successful businessman (his father), and was raised from birth to be the wunderkind. Any opportunity he had to make friends or socialize with kids his age was instead devoted to endless hours of studying and grooming, his parents trying to mold him into their idea of a successful, perfect child. To this end he attended cram school as well as summer classes from age five onwards, was enrolled in judo lessons as well as other forms of moderate physical fitness and self-defense, and was denied things like cell phones, videogame consoles, movies that were too violent or deemed a bad influence, and even fatty foods and trips to the arcade. Everything was decided for him, his future planned out to the minute. Needless to say Haruto had a very stressful, joyless childhood, which is a shame considering he was, at one point, a very friendly and naturally outgoing child. But after years of being denied the kind of socialization most other kids have, Haruto has grown into a bit of a recluse, partly because he feels swamped by the expectations put on him by his parents and partly because at some point he decided to just adapt to the image people seemed to have of him: a friendless shut-in. But that ends today! For the first time in his life, Haruto is making a choice for himself, and straying from the path laid out for him, even if it's only a little. You see, there's a girl he likes. A beautiful girl who's new to his class, one whose life looks far more interesting than his. He realizes that someone like him has very little chance with her, but for once in his life he's determined to try. To that end he's volunteered to be her student tutor in the hopes of spending some time with her outside of school and maybe getting to know her better before anyone else can. It's an aim for the stars, once in a lifetime, one-in-a-million shot scenario for Haruto, and god knows he'll probably fail, but for once he feels passionate about something, so he has no choice but to pursue it! Not for his parents' sake or the sake of his future, but for himself and no one else.

{Brief Background}
Aki was raised on the grounds of a traditional Shinto shrine by her parents and grandparents. This upbringing was often rigid, strict, and included lessons on the practice and tradition of rituals. She was expected to become a priestess, or at least a shrine maiden, like her sister, whom she was often compared to. According to her father, however, if she could find a suitable husband to take over the shrine, she could live how her and her husband saw fit. This was important to her father especially, having had no sons to carry on his family name. At the very least he wanted the shrine to survive. This lead to her grandparents' many failed attempts at setting her up on awkward blind dates with boys who were in training to become priests. The shrine, on the other hand, was quite popular and well known in their town for the festivals it hosts.

Aki, however, had different plans and had no desire to lead such a life. She, instead, dreamed of becoming a pastry chef. Despite her lack of interest, Aki still carried an aura of reverence around her. She also continues to wear a blessed jade pendent her grandmother had given her.

According to her grandmother, it had been pasted down for many generations to the daughter they believed to have the most spiritual potential for the shrine. Aki wasn't sure how valid her story was, but she thought the sentiment was nice. The only times she ever really takes it off is during fencing club practice and while bathing. Aki's current struggle, however, is deciding whether she should reside to living life as her parents wish or somehow finding the courage to tell them their life isn't what she wants.

Name: Ryota 'Ryo' Yamada

Description: Ryota, on the exterior, comes off as a stoic, cool-headed young man, preferring the use of his fists, rather than the use of his words - since words can easily be meaningless and useless, while action would forcefully change minds and inspire actions. He is tough;; seen as a rough-housing delinquent or rebel, while Ryota himself keeps an over-all, everlastingly cool, neutral, disinterested personality, whilst managing to stay perceptive, intelligent, and very quick-witted. He's relatively fair and honest, although only loyal to those he deems safe enough to be loyal to. Despite his fierceness in battle, and his tough stoicness during other times, he still manages to be gentle in some aspects - such as walking old ladies across the street, or helping a cat out of the tree. However, since he hardly, if ever smiles or laughs - the most you being able to get out of him is a smirk or chuckle - most people are intimidated, and won't expect him to help them. Due to this, he mostly keeps to himself, and has learned not to expect thanks from unappreciative men or women. Due to his appearance and personality, it's not rare for him to have 'fans', but he's not interested in such things, and perpetually waves them off.

Traits: Cool-headed, stoic, direct/blunt, tough, intelligent, seems neutral/disinterested. Tends to intimidate, but has an inward kindness.

Background: Ryota was born to a rough part of Japan, with a hard-working, yet compassionate mother, and an abusive, drunk of a dad. Even from a young age, Ryo has shown the same strong-will he has in modern days, and despite the hard-knocked life he lived, he always cared for his mother, and often protected her from his dad's drunken nights and ravings. As he grew as a child, Ryota grew tough from his lifestyle. He eventually, despite his caring nature for his mom, got into some gang brawls and groups, and began to get into trouble at a young age. Due to this, his home life became more and more troublesome, until he snapped and fought back. It was the day where his father was hazed by his anger and inebriation, and, long story short, the man was knocked out after a brief struggle, Ryota having used his fists - calloused from hitting walls out of anger. The police came, despite not being good men themselves, and noting the signs of abuse and drunken rage, arrested his father. This is where his life began to...get better. His mother, unshackled by the stress of one Inoichi Sawada, got a job in a nicer part of town, and began having fun, once more.

Meanwhile, Ryota got out of the gang life, and began taking fighting lessons, making sure that, no matter what, his mother would not be able to suffer what she had whilst under Inoichi's 'reign of terror'. He even got a job as a construction worker in his pre-teen years, using his above-average strength to his advantage, to help his mom out in the bills and general living. As he grew, he became known as the toughest fighter at the school, and no longer had to worry about physical fear. Any bullies that came after him was usually taken out with one punch or kick, Ryota not even having to take his hands out of his pockets. At the same time, he never really started the fight...things usually just happened, and in the end, yet another person was knocked out. It even happened to a few unruly teachers. Life was...decent, to say the least, and despite not showing overt emotions to his mother, she could always tell that he loved her dearly, and to the end of the world. Nothing would hurt her;; he would always protect her. Her name was Megumi Yamada, having taken the last name of her elderly father, rather than her husband's name, Sawada. The 'mysterious new students' didn't pique Ryota's interest, but the way they seemed off...it slightly made him wary, since he disliked random strangers popping up out of nowhere. There were all kinds of warped people alive. However, as long as they didn't cause him or anyone close to him harm, he would leave them alone.

Pʀᴏᴍɪɴᴇɴᴛ Aʙɪʟɪᴛʏ:
Rivka was born with the innate aptitude to transform into different types of Yokai, categorizing her as a shape-shifter of sorts. These apparitions enable her to take on many different classifications of creatures, specifically in the form of beasts. Her most prominent appearance is that of an ebony fox, encased in bolts of lighting that bend at her every whim. While in this form, Rivka's fundamental demonic powers are almost tripled, bestowing upon her an exceptional amount of speed, strength, and endurance when in battle. Outside of her feral essence, she is still able to channel electricity and other variants of this element. Furthermore, the similarities she shares with animals has established a connection between her and the creatures that dwell in the depths; Rivka is also able to communicate with the inhabitants of the earth- excluding humans.

Fiery and brimming with confidence, Rivka proudly wears the title "Second Sibling" and her pride often leads her into undesirable situations. Since she was a child, she knew she was never going to be the favorite offspring. But that didn't stop her from living her life the way she wanted- she rebelled at any time she felt it was deemed necessary, she constantly wreaked havoc, and she did everything in her power to make the lives of those above her as miserable as possible. However, all of her actions were directed towards one sole purpose; she wanted to feel needed. She wanted to feel accepted. Born after the first child, Rivka was left in a position that seemingly carried no real meaning. Even her younger siblings transcended her in some traits. As a result, she thought her only option was to retaliate with brute force, fortifying her into the demon she is now.
