Name: Anora Jakae
Age: 29

Race: Bpfasshi sub-species (Detailed by growth of thorns like objects from their heads)
Affiliation: Sith - CIS
Physical Description:
Mental Description: Anora views personal freedom as one of the most important aspects of life, as do her fellow Blackguard. She will fight and she will bleed to see oppressive regimes such as the Republic and the Jedi Order removed from power. She herself strives to keep the balance between the two sides of the force and make it one. But this is not to say this is an easy feat for her. She often gives in to the darker side of her mind. Becoming brash, over-confident and above all else short tempered. Yet when she allows the balance to keep control she exhibits a surprising amount of control and composure, often being very rational and quick thinking when in balance. Though she and her fellow Blackguard side with them, this is not to say she trusts that the CIS is and will be any better than those they fight, it just shows that she is willing to fight for their right to break off from the republic. And if tomorrow the CIS win the war and are no better than the Republic, Anora will gladly side with whomever has the courage to lead a rebellion against them.
History: Anora was born on one of the few habitable moons surrounding her races home world of Bpfassh, in the Sluis sector, during the year 43BBY. She was not born into a wealthy family nor was she forced to survive in the slums, rather her family managed to live out a precarious existence in the middle of the Grey area, often falling below the line of poverty and rarely making it above that Grey area into true comfort. Even from the young age of five Anora would attempt to help her family whenever she could, be it through helping her mother clean or what have you. Yet in her sixth year of her life, she received a blessing in disguise, though at first it seemed like a very badly scratched knee. Anora was on a walk outside when she tripped and fell, where the scratched knee came into existence. Immediately tears began to fall from her young face as she rocked back and forth on the ground, calling out to her mother and father for help, yet they never came. Many strangers were on the street that day and most would have walked passed her and none of them offered their help. As the tears continued to flow, her young self began to feel an anger building deep within her, anger that she was hurt and anger that she was alone as no one came to help. It was with this anger that Anora appeared as a blip on the proverbial radar of force sensitives, and one such fore sensitive was nearby and he came to her aid.
The man called himself a friend in the sea of strangers and told her she had much potential in her to be a strong Jedi one day. At the time, Anora did not know what a Jedi was nor what they believed in, but he was a man who had offered her help when she needed it. He took her back to her home, and with much persuasion, managed to get her parents blessing for her to be taken to an academy to hone her skills with the force and be taught the way of the Jedi. Though to a academy, she did not go nor the ways of the Jedi did she learn, for this man was indeed a Jedi but of a different name. He was called Jar'Rega, leader of the Dark Jedi conclave on Bpfassh and one who was brining in as many force sensitive children as he could find and was training them in the dark side of the force. This conclave was located on the main planet, and Anora remembers her first experience of setting foot there which stands out in stark contrast with the faded memories of this time. She remembers back at home, people would often talk about how easy life was on the main planet. Money was easy to make, people were happier and life was easier. Yet her eyes showed a different tale, they showed that it was all the same. People were still poor, always fighting a losing battle to make an existence while those in power wanted to keep it that way.
But training would not wait while she sat idly by and observed the similarities, rather she was ushered into training almost immediately where she trained in light saber combat and mastering the Dark side of the force. Among the twenty odd pupils she was easily seen as the best come her fifteenth year of age, being able to defeat all her fellow trainees as well as some of the more experienced Dark Jedi. She had learned long ago, she never wanted to offer any allegiance to the normal Jedi, her upbringing had her itching for more freedom than what was offered her, and the more she studied the Jedi code the more she despised their order. Yet being the best at this point was of no importance to Anora, she had already fallen in love with the Dark Side of the force and she had aspirations for the future. She studied as much as she could in improving her control with the Dark Side, saber combat and, what would prove most useful in the years to come, the old history of the Sith empire and their old teachings. She loved the idea of the Sith at the time, their ideals and their purpose excited the young Anora. Like many other Dark Jedi she wanted the power that being a Sith lord would grant, and while none came to take her as an apprentice she strived to learn as much as she could about them. One of the things she managed to find was a brief text on the Brotherhood of Darkness, telling of how every Sith was considered equal under this group.
Though she thought it did, her studies did not go unnoticed from outside sources, a member from the Blackguard discovered her and her Dark Jedi enclave and described her potential to her superiors. They tasked the young Elite Wielder named Vansk with bringing Anora in and begin her training at once. Though she refused at first, feeling like she belonged to the Dark Jedi, Anora eventually accepted upon learning that the Blackguard could trace back to the split of the Brotherhood.
But leaving these Dark Jedi was no easy feat, as Vansk lead Anora to a shuttle which would take them to the Blackguard base four of the senior members of this Dark Jedi group confronted them. They were angry at the pair, their anger at Vansk for poaching their most prized associate and their anger at Anora for her willingness to forsake everything they taught her. When words from Vansk failed to reason with them, it came down to a brief yet chaotic battle between the two groups. Anora, who had her lightsaber with her, lit it immediately and came to the defense of Vansk who had already slain two. As Vansk was finishing off a third, the fourth and final enemy started his attack from her left side. Anora, acting on instinct, rushed in and after a brief duel found her light saber had found a new home in the chest of the men, who's surprised and pain filled face was instantly burned into her memory. Anora deactivated her weapon as the man began to fall, her senses completely oblivious to all that was going on. While her mind was long ago dedicated to the Dark Side, her soul still yielded hope. Though the moments for her to ponder her first kill were few as a returned Vansk quickly rushed her into the shuttle, away from the twenty odd Dark Jedi's now racing towards the shuttle pad before they started their journey. As they left the planet Vansk spoke for the first time since before the conflict “You are no longer a Dark Jedi, if you can pass our trials you will be an Elite Minnion with me as your master.” The rest of the journey remained silent, as they made their way to Mustafar. Anora endured the trials, brutal they were but they were designed to thin the week from the strong and this is what made the Blackguard powerful. For the five, including Anora who went into the challenge only she passed. She was taken to an old Jedi academy, now the site of the Blackguard base, after this.
It was here where Anora learned what a Blackguard was. Unlike Dark Jedi, Jedi and even the Sith, Blackguard's viewed the force as one thing, with terms such as the Dark Side and the Light Side being nothing more than two ships sailing on the same stretch of space. Here, at the old ruins of a Jedi base, Blackguards who travel the Galaxy at large learning different philosophies and abilities of other force traditions come to both spread the knowledge, and teach the few that are brought into balance both sides of the force within themselves. This is something Anora found very frustrating, for her mind had long along given itself into darkness. Though she excelled in the additional training to these powers, as well as learning additonal saber techniques and learning to use and preferring a side handle lightsaber, she often felt her masters unapproving gaze upon her as it came time to practice the light side of the force.
It was on her twenty fourth birthday, eighteen years since she last saw her family and nine years after leaving this areal behind, did Anora get the chance to let the light back in, for Vansk took her back to her old home. It started off with a walk down a road than felt familiar to Anora, Vansk was talking about a great battle which took place not a few months back in her home system. The Dark Jedi,to who she had aligned, had decided to take their war to the people. They rampaged across the system and it was not until one of the most famous Jedi, master Yoda, and his forces were they put down. Vansk said, as per speculation from the people, that not one Dark Jedi survived the battle. Anora was hit hard by this news, not because of the fact that she owed them any allegiance any more but because she could and would have died there. Her master talked about how they were going to meet a friend who had witnessed the battle nearby, and a couple minutes later they found themselves at their door. What happened next surprised, and provided enough light back into her life to become balanced once more. What followed the door opening was a rush of an older man and woman, screaming her name, as they gave her the warmest embrace in her memory. Though at first her memory betrayed her, she did not remember who they were until the images of her parents flooded back in.
She spent a long night with her parents new home, where she learned that they tried to find her after the Jedi reported that any child which was supposedly taken to the Academy was in fact trained as a Dark Jedi and was recently slain. They had feared the worst for their daughter, for they recognized the man who had taken her as one of the deceased. She also learned that her parents, with out the struggle of making sure their daughter was provided for, managed to make their lives a bit more enjoyable. And after much time, both Anora and her master departed to return to her training. Though it was hard at first, she began to let the Light side back in and she began to become more balanced. Within the next couple months, she began to gain experience in many more aspects of the light side, eventually gaining the rank of Wilder and soon after to one of the few elite wielders on the blackguard, similar to that of a Jedi Master in rank and function. It took only a few more months before the death of Palpatine and the revelation that he was the Dark Lord of the Sith shocked the galaxy.
In the five years since, the Blackguard has aligned themselves with the CIS, providing the leadership and incite that was once provided by the Sith. Blackguards from all over the galaxy have flooded back to their academy where the decision was made to launch an all out assault on the Jedi Order. The Blackguard views the Jedi as no worse than the sith, as through their code they restrict the ability of all force sensitive people from being in balance. It was with this decision, and reports from the other factions of the CIS on their strengths, that a decision was made. Anora, and many other Blackguards have made the journey to the Capital city and now find themselves in orbit in one of the many battle-stations who are burning this cities skies. She, and her fellow Elite Wielders, now find themselves in front of a screen as they prepare to offer their terms to the Jedi order. Surrender and survive, fight and die.
Equipment:
-2 Side-handle style red bladed lightsabers. The Blades are very short in comparison to other blades, forcing the combat closer to the enemy. This, combined with her powerful grasp of Force powers make her very dangerous in close combat.
-1 Elite Blackguard armor set. Because of the fact that the numbers of the Blackguard Wielders and Elite Wielders are so few when compared with their Jedi counterparts, the armor they wear is of greater quality than that of the Jedi. The center mass part of the armor is made of a very durable material, one that is similar yet stronger than the armor of the B2 Battle Droid. The armor can withstand numerous blows from normal Blaster fire before it fails. This armor is only reserved for the Elite Wielders and numerous Wielders, the Minions do not receive any armor at all. The masks they wear pay homage to one of the most famous Jedi and Sith of all time as well as some of the fiercest race, Revan and the Mandalorian's. While the HUD is limited when compared to the clones, the wearers preferring to feel the force to find their targets, their helmets provide a comm system. They are able to change the channel on their right hand guard. While the armor on their chest is great, the armor on their arms and legs are lacking. Able to take one, maybe two shots before failure. There are two versions, that while completely identical in function, differ in appearance. One is for the female members of the order, and their armor contours more to their body while the other is the one shown above.
