Name: Lali 'Lala' Cole Age: 18 Talent: Spell casting. Birthmark: Mind Symbol Power: Telekinesis. She can move almost anything with her mind, but the bigger and/or heavier the item is the more energy it takes. History: Lali is the only child of a dressmaker and the treasurer for the temple of Lazuli. Her mother had a hard pregnancy, and there were a few times that the family was afraid that they were going to lose the baby. Luckily, she survived, and as soon as her parents saw her birthmark they knew that Lazuli had kept her alive. The couple truly believed that Lazuli had great plans for their daughter, and they named her Lali in honor of the deity. Unfortunately her mother barely lived long enough to see her daughter christened in the temple, and her father has had to raise his little girl by himself.
The couple named their daughter Lali in honor of Lazuli, and, as soon as she was old enough, her father put her to work helping clean the temple. He saw it as a great way for her to thank the Deity and practice using her telekinesis. When Lala saw the announcement her father believed that this journey was why she had survived.
Tier (T-air) is a wildcat she found as a cub. He was orphaned by hunters, so Lala took him in and raised him.

Name: Jacque Marrow Age: 24 Talent: Archery Birthmark: A patch of skin on his left breast that looks like a bite mark with a mole between the "jaws"
Power: Beast Mastery- Jacque is able to temporarily spiritually bind animals to himself in order to control them. The larger the animal or number of animals, the less time he has, and creatures that are in a frantic or hostile state of mind cannot be controlled if he has not already bound them. (to put it into perspective, a mouse or a finch can be controlled for say, a full day, but a bear would be controlled for half an hour at best)
History: Jacque's story is a pretty simple one: He was born into a family of extremely successful fur and spice traders, and as such was taught the tools of the trade from the moment he was deemed capable. Jacque took to his lessons well, however he found that his interests lied more with the hunting of beasts than it did with the trading of their pelts and meats. Upon reaching adulthood, Jacque chose to set out on his own, his goal being to become known as the greatest hunter in the land. For years Jacque honed his skills in the wilds that dotted the lands between the kingdoms, and had actually gained a small sliver of fame for his work. When he caught wind of the resurrection of Malo and the competition being held Jacque chose to enter believing that his skills might be useful in finding the missing pieces of the statue of Lazuli.

Looks: Name: Aliaah Kal Age: 20 Talent: Martial Arts Birthmark: A pale, white snowflake on her right shoulder blade. Power: Water Manipulation. She can controls all form of water, but if she does it for too long, she will pass out from exhaustion. History: Aliaah grew up on the streets. She had no parents and few friends. She found her mark in mercenary work with her power of water, she could kill a person easily. She had heard about the competition and decided to enter, hoping there would be a prize in the search. She had been hoping to grow out of her dark past and begin anew.
Animal Companion
Name: Nyra Nyra is a dire wolf from the north, born with a pelt white as snow and eyes of ice. Aliaah found her a pup, all alone on one of her travels in the mountains. Nyra is still young and has not yet reached her full size. She is approximately 3.5 feet in height and weighs around 170 pounds. She is quite playfully and hasn't been fully trained yet, so she is a goofball.
Name: Feon Mayweather Age: 18 Talent: Paladin Birthmark: Cross on her left forearm easy for others to see without her armor on. Power: Feon has the ability to call upon what she calls the “Holy Light”. This power is far more effective against monsters and followers of Malo than other types of magic. Weapon: Heavens Fury: A large hammer that Feon can wield with great ease as many would struggle to just pick it up. History: Feon was born into a farm family. She often got up early with everyone else to help work the fields. As a result Feon has become rather strong. Around the age of 10 Goblins came to steal from her farm. Feon was able to hold the Goblins off on her own using a sledge hammer her father had. She swung it around with great ease, this was also when she first used her holy light magic and obliterated the Goblins. After this incident Feon went on to go join a group of Paladins, she became a captain at the age of 14 and was later selected to be the power for the group seeking the pieces of the statue. Name: Alexander Gildone Age: 23 Talent: sword fighting Birthmark: The cursed sword made a burned lightning mark on his back rear shoulder Power: can control black lighting, but not very well. History: Alex was a born in the Kingdom of Darkness and was raised up and trained to be a soldier that would fight. At first he was just a normal soldier, but because of the rise of magic users he now was lower ranked than the magic users. To compensate for his lack of music they gave him a cursed sword that ended up burning his arm to the point where they have to put armor on to his damaged arm. He doesn’t have the best control over the new power he was given, so he avoids using it as much as possible. He can sometimes get so angry that the cursed sword can take over. He has been tasked with making sure that the deity is not rebuilt, by either stealing or killing any of the members who are chosen. He didn't have the best control over his new power so he snuck into the event to scout out the winners to see if any of them will be easy to steal from.
