Personality
He is very remorseful, yet if one pays close enough attention they can tell that he has hope. It's actually almost like he's planning something...but nobody could ever guess what that could be. He has been known to spare Gifted with harmless abilities, while capturing those with harmful ones. Doesn't make much difference to the Gifted population, but at least he's one of the more merciful hunters. In fact, the only reason he even kills at all is to save his own life from execution.

Type: Type 1, but is assumed to be a Type 4 by his superiors

Abilities
Psychological:
John has the power of telepathy, and can use his power to read minds or communicate over long distances. He has been trained to use his powers to track down other gifted, though his superiors think he is only a Type 4 Gifted, and so he has secretly trained himself how to read minds and communicate telepathically.

Bio
John grew up as a fairly normal kid, taking a great liking to video games and movies and books. He enjoyed watching and reading these fantasies, and wished he could be in one himself. But as time went on John realized what an impossible dream that might be, because he began to notice that he was just a nobody. There was nothing truly special about him, and aside from being slightly above average in school - he really didn't do anything else. No sports, no extracurricular activities, no nothing. Just your average Joe...or...John. That is, until his eighteenth birthday; where his right eye changed color and he began to sense these...things. He didn't know what he was feeling, but one day he got curious enough to follow one of these 'feelings', and he came up to a house just as the authorities arrived at the door. He took cover and watched as the house was raided and a girl was taken out...she had mismatched eye colors, just like him! What was happening?! Why did they want her? Was it cause her eyes were different?! John figured they might want to take him away too, and he wanted to run away from here before he was noticed...but...that girl...she needed help. She was struggling and resisting, then suddenly she looked at John and screamed to him for help. His mind seared with an intense sensation, and he recognized it as the 'feeling' he followed over here...but...wait...the men who were capturing her turned and saw him. He panicked and got up to run, but...no...the sensation filled his head...and he felt brave...he had to help, he had to try.

John tried in vain, and was captured. The girl and him were taken and enslaved; John was trained and forced to work as a hunter to find more gifted, and to the best of John's knowledge...the girl was strapped into a chair, forced to incite bravery into the hunters in training.

John was wrapping gauze around his head and over his purple eye, making sure to get the bandage under his hair so as to not make it so obvious. He had already put some dried meat from a hamburger under the gauze and over his eye, so as to make it look swollen. Once finished, he looked himself over in the mirror and decided he'd done a decent enough job trying to blend in. Might not fool a doctor, but it should certainly trick somebody who doesn't know a thing about medical practices.

John then opened the door to the men's restroom inside a burger joint, looking around the place with his one, uncovered eye. It was weird, this whole one-eyed concept, but it was necessary. John walked the door to leave, and a woman was approaching the door to enter. John opened the door and stood to the side to let the lady in, to which he noticed she gasped slightly at the sight of his eye. But the woman didn't speak, she just hurried through the door. John took that as a sign of success, and left the burger joint to take in his surroundings as best as he could. Now, with his disguise complete, it was on to the true matter; the Gifted he could sense nearby. So John walked up and down the sidewalk on one side of the road until he pin-pointed the location of the nearby Gifted and crossed the street to intercept.

I think you should probably cut the "converting to shadow" and having physical shadows. Lets say she can hide herself and others in her shadows, can blind and mute people with her shadows, and can manipulate the shape of shadows to provide these effects. This would then become a psychological-illusion ability.

Hey, I'd be willing to go so far as to allow your character to make people in her shadows hallucinate their greatest fears.

Should probably let her have her average girl strength back in daylight, too. XD

We're not supposed to be gods here. We are, at most, superhuman. Not superheroes.

Elemental abilities will be limited.

Your powers can be negotiated, but the values seem a little high. I'd say X10 max, and perhaps a healing touch? This would have to require great concentration, of course.

Thing is this the RP isn't having Superman type demigods. Imagine Infamous only the power levels are brought down by a lot. Type 1s use mental abilities to affect the mind of another or their body, these powers aren't visible by that I mean you can't see it like you would a fire manipulator's powers. Type 2s have visible powers that aren't OP, they use a physical aspect of the world and manipulate it to affect their targets. Type 3s have both Type 1&2 powers. Type 4s can only sense other gifted when they use their powers.

Maxwell's eyes are both colored blue however, his left eye if stared into deep enough feels like drowning in the depths of the sea. While in his right eye is like the warm colored waters in tropical resorts that are colored sea green.

Personality
Maxwell is a person who has a high amount of intelligence along with being very observant and perceptive to details, always making sure to double-check anything if needed and possesses creative imagination. Also having the keen ability to focus and concentrate outside of exterior distractions while able to understand and predict human behavior. He has also developed ability to make connections using seemingly unrelated data with one another. His intellectual personality separates him often from people, however he makes the purposeful decision to suppress them because he believes that emotions obstruct the ability to reason logically, which is a skill that he needs to hunt down other gifted. While it may be 'wrong', he captures Gifteds to relieve boredom, which is a severe problem for someone of his intelligence to face, and one that he has been battling since early childhood with little to occupy him. Their variation in abilities and personality all vary from one another making them very interesting people to chase down in his mind.

Investigator: Maxwell's gift as a tracker is being a talented investigator that is able to even be able to challenge other Gifted even with their supernatural powers. His gift partially manifested itself during his early childhood but never fully revealed until he was stressed, revealing his powers at an early age. His power is said to allows him to be the 'modern day' Sherlock Holmes as Maxwell with his ability have granted him to possess the ability to think at twice the capacity of any normal human living, a photographic memory and the ability to use and recall each of his senses independently of the others to their fullest potential. Copying the Great Detective's brilliance as he ascended to legendary proportions, advancing his mind to truly superhuman levels and Maxwell is basically a copy of it with his own personal twists. Because of this he can analyze every move that any of his opponents make allowing him to completely utilize his surroundings in a fight as well as consider even the most obscure clue as to the identity or plans of his opponents. While his ability allows him to preform these feats they do not grant him any supernatural ability that can be used, only relying on his own human abilities combined with legendary skills of an investigator to capture other gifted.

Bio

History

Maxwell was born into a family who were dysfunctional, it was amazing that his father and mother lived together in the save roof without killing each other. Their constant arguing with each other soon caught onto Maxwell to seek attention either somewhere else or occupy himself with something to do during many of his early years. He never ventured outside because his parents always were inside, only leaving for work or to get groceries but besides that they never took Maxwell out much. With little to do inside the house, Maxwell soon got into puzzles where he worked piecing pieces together. Finding scattered dusty boxes underneath furniture and hidden away, he was an avid child who solved those basic puzzles easily.

Applying these skills in real life, he learned how to open the door and leave the house for the first time, blinding his eyes which were unused to bright light and his pale skin glowing in the sun. He of course explored around his parent's house, looking around the neighborhood watching other people walking and driving following their everyday lives. After watching for a while, Maxwell went back inside the house before he got in trouble by his parents and locked the doors before keeping to himself with his puzzles.

The next several years, it continued with Maxwell always traveling outside the house and solving puzzles in the real world for people who had trouble solving simple problems. He soon discovered the newspaper and soon got into crosswords and anagrams, increasing his vocabulary far beyond his age and when school started he was already smart enough to skip a grade or two if his parents wanted, which they took eagerly. Therefore, Maxwell jumped two years and was in upperclassman classes as a young student who stuck to himself in the back with a book and always reading. This didn't go unnoticed as older classmates often tormented Maxwell, but he ignored them and often brushed off their many insults against him. However, his ability to hold it all together fell apart one day his gave them a deathly stare in which they screamed and ran to the teacher. Soon the teacher came over and gently took his book away before looking at him strangely before asking him a question. "Honey, do you know that your one of the Gifted?" In which he responded with a shake of a head and was escorted to the nurse's office where Hunters cuffed him and escorted him to be evaluated before deciding what was going to happen to Maxwell.

In these test, he scored the tests with flying colors for his age group and the next group easily without any problem. He also was shown to demonstrate impressive ability to solving puzzles, and when taken to a group of people and asked to see which one was a gifted. Maxwell was able to group the two from each other with no mistakes and repeated the test twice. Deciding it would be interesting to train a Gifted which his particular ability, the Hunters honed and refined Maxwell's ability by simply giving him interesting things to solve his boredom.

Ever since then, Maxwell has been with the Hunters and hunting Gifted while on the side going to a special school to learn what he was missing in regular school. Reaching Highschool a year earlier anyways, he finished his high-school diploma in Sophomore year after complete the necessary credits that was needed. He's going to college now as he has free time on the side when he can.

Looking at the door, Maxwell tapped his fingers nonchalantly as he waited silently looking at the clock on the wall silently as it ticked for ever second that past. After precisely 30 and a half ticks latter, he stood up and opened the door leaving the room behind him and exiting outside jumping over the fallen male gifted. Looking both ways it seemed like he was at a motel and past the parking lot was a small road, it seemed like they were on perhaps a interstate or maybe a backstreet maybe. He wasn't sure but he peeked back into the motel room where a unconscious man laid incapacitated as Maxwell knocked him out with chloroform. He had cuffed the man to the bed frame to prevent him for escaping as the man seemed to be able to possess enhanced strength and the cuffs would only delay the inevitable.

The man had kidnapped him but he didn't understood Maxwell's ability as once he was awoken, he was already informing them. Upon awakening with a sack on his head, Maxwell took the time to plan before executing his plane, taking down the first gunshot. Twisting and Shifting out of his bonds, and before the man could realize it, Maxwell pulled out his cloth and knocked out the gifted with the drug. After that, Maxwell took a deep breath before he exited out of the motel room for area as

Looking down and up the hallway again before entering the room again, he tapped the mans pocket before finding the phone located on the gifted. Tapping it to power on, he cracked the password easily on the phone by trail and error, having 10 chances to do it only made it easier as he opened it in less than a minute or two. Using the phone, he dialed a number given to him from his Hunter and called the number before he was received. Asking for backup, he was soon located and picked up as Maxwell caught another gifted.

Name: Wendel Flynn

Age: 14

Eye Colors: His right eye is brown, and his left eye is red.

Personality: Wendel's pretty much a lazy tub-of-lard. He's talkative, up to the point the people pretty much want to sock his face in, and probably throw him in a ditch. He sounds tired most of the time, thanks to his restlessness. Most people know him as an annoying fat kid, but if you talk to him quite enough, you'll slowly know him much more as a misunderstood teen. His talkative nature might cause secrets to be revealed, so watch what you say around him. He's really caring to his friends, and he might sacrifice himself just for that certain friend. Overall, he's a talkative, friendly fat kid who doesn't seem to sleep much.

Type: 2

Abilities: Wendel could pretty much be classified as a cyromaniac sometimes. He's able to fire ice spikes from the palm of his hands, but continued use will make his body temperature colder and colder until he would pretty much be frozen from the inside. He's physically weak, though, and he can't endure much pain.

Bio: Wendel's life was extremely average. Average at school, average at life, average at everything, except he had an addiction towards alcohol. Until one day ( Actually a month before this RP's events ), he looked at himself in the mirror at home, in the bathroom. He noticed something very strange about his eyes- one of the two were in a different color! He rushed to the living room, his parents and his brother was absolutely shocked. " Y-you're one of the Gifted? " Asked his father, as he stood there in shock. An explanation was given to him by his mother, then after that, Wendel's life was nowhere near normal. He'd have to be locked in his room, only to go outside when they had to eat. Until one day, he escaped from his home/prison, carrying a usable amount of money just for himself. Thus begins our story.

Other: Wendel is addicted to alcohol, up to the point where his addiction almost killed him. Also, don't expect very long paragraphs from me. English isn't my native language, and my brain isn't working at 100% most of the time.

Wendel stepped in his room, drunk. He sat in the corner, placing the bottles beside him. "Another day *hic* done, finally." He was quite depressed, having been called an outcast by many. He took a swig, emptying the large bottle. Having emptied all his alcohol at the moment, he sat there, just waiting because... Well, I don't know. His drunkenness made him slightly rowdy, to the point that he hit himself with a bottle, it shattering over his right arm. He didn't feel the pain, but there was a light sting.

Having no more alcohol, he decided to go outside, to raid the fridge. His parents left his room unlocked. He opened the door, it slightly hitting him. He stumbled down the stairs, luckily not falling over and cracking his head open. Then, he opened the fridge, taking whatever alcohol was in there.
