Niall

Niall breathed a sigh of relief as he woke up from his hyper-sleep, not a day older looking than he had been before hopefully. He flexed his muscles and yawned a bit, pushing aside the remainder of the drugs left in his system, clearing his mind for the journey ahead. They had been given comfortable but tough clothing that the Pixies on Erellon had created, it was tough to think it had taken them 25 years to arrive here. This clothing was supposed to be able to withstand almost anything, a mixture of Erellon fibers and magic coatings. He swiftly pushed open the door the the chamber he was in and stretched once he was outside. It was relatively cool in the ship, not hot but not cold either. It was all shiny and not at all like the rustic life him and all of these others had left behind on Erellon. Outside the ship was a mystery though, there was no telling what creatures would await them outside. He went into the other pod where the animals had been store in their own hyper sleep chamber. He released the seal and the pressurization in their chamber which would allow them to wake up more easily.

Quickly he surveyed the animals they had brought along; there were 15 head of dairy cows, 5 with calves at their side, two dairy bulls, another 15 beef cows, again 5 of them had calves, two beef bulls, 16 head of horses, 8 drafts and 8 light horses, two draft stallions and two light stallions, two teams of oxen, 35 chickens, 15 turkeys, various other kinds of poultry, 15 sheep, 5 with twin lambs, one meat ram and one wool ram, 8 Elons, 10 banos, 6 tutori, and several pairs of chibits.

Among the chibits was his own, Cain, who was looking about sleepily along with the rest of the animals who were coming back to life. When Cain spotted him he got rather excited and tried to take flight but had a bit of trouble and thumped to the floor. Niall quickly made his way over to Cain and scooped up the chibit who chattered to him rapidly. Chibits all sounded a bit like cats to Niall, a mix between a cat and a bird. They could whistle and chatter like a bird and purr like a cat. "Your body isn't awake enough to fly just yet buddy." Niall murmured to the creature. Cain seemed to have already gathered that and flapped his little wings a couple of times before settling onto Niall's shoulder. All of the other animals seemed to be fine so he left them all to wake up in peace. He went back into the main chamber with Cain aboard his shoulder where the others were waking up as well.

They had been given enough rations to survive at least a month without slaughtering any of their animals and given supplies of seeds to begin a rather large garden in hopes of establishing a small base camp of sorts to explore the area and see if it would be habitable in the future perhaps.

Juniper rubbed her face, she didn't really care for hyper-sleep. She also didn't really understand why she had to have it, t was only 25 years, but they had insisted. They also let her take her bobbles! Juniper heard a ruckus outside. Hmm someone must have awoken the animals. Good, since that was taken care of she could lie here a bit longer. She vaguely wondered what the clouds would look like, what the plants would say here. She was both flattered and agitated when she was asked along. Juniper was happy they had that much faith in her, but it was a rather large request. They had better send compensation at some point.

Eventually Juniper became bored, and she was having none of that. She lazily pushed open the door, took a few steps and very gracefully flopped on the ground. She took a deep breath of the fresh air, and looked up at the sky. The clouds were towering, letting only small pillars of sun come through. She ran her hands over the soft grass, and they softly sang poems to her. Poems of hope, some of hardship, about poison that had once ran through the very planet. Juniper smiled, turned on her belly "It's all right little ones, thank you for your songs." As she watched them sway back and forth she whispered "they were beautiful."

At that moment a banos had wandered over and sniffed the top of her head. Juniper giggled " Why hello there! Must have been a long trip for you huh?" She sat up and stroked his snout. "Don't be worried, I am alright. I was just enjoying the grass." Juniper grabbed a handful and handed it, open palmed, to him. The banos inspected it, then started munching on it. "Good you'll need your strength." She sat back and watched the other animals stroll out and inspect their new home. Juniper laughed at the chibits as they fought the drowsiness. She glanced over and saw a rather well built male comforting a chibit. "Why, hello Niall. I see you haven't aged a day.~" Juniper said with a wink.

Elize

Elize shook the sleepiness awake, clearing her head. 'We must have arrived,' she thought briefly as she pushed the chamber open and stepped out. It seemed someone had already released the animals, they would have to put them back up at night to protect them. They were all her responsibility, would be for the remainder of this mission. She had nothing to go back to at home so there had been no reason for her to say no to leaving everything behind.

They had sent a variety of animals with them and plenty to maintain genetic variety. She would have to catalog each animal, its markings, and give it an ID marking of some sort to keep track of everyone and make sure there was no inbreeding. She hoped they had sent the equipment she had asked for where this was concerned, it would make things a lot faster and easier on everyone if they had sent her marking equipment. She had requested a tattoo gun for ear tattoos on the sheep, ear tags and branding equipment for the banos and elons.

When Elize reached the door she found Juniper laying in the grass, what more could she expect of a Seelie Faerie. "Hello Juniper." She stepped around her out into the grass which looked rather similar to the grass on Erellon. She heard a soft rumble not too far from her and and heard the easy slow steps of the big draft stallion and found that they had included some of her own stock in the group of animals, one of which was this stallion who was her most prized possession. He was a beautiful dark bay, a warm russet color across his body with a thick black mane and tail and thick black feathering on his legs. His eyes were soft and kind as he approached her, ears pricked forward but flickering about to listen to all the strange birds. His skills would be invaluable here. He was trained to pull logs and buggies or a plow. He gave a great gentle sigh when he reached her, stopping a step or so away. She laid her hand gently on his face and relaxed immensely. Her animals were the only things she had realized she was going to miss so it was nice to have some of her best stock here. In her town in Erellon Elize was renowned for her livestock.

Niall was outside with his chibit who seemed to be rather sleepy still and was chattering angrily while he tried to comfort it.

Niall

Niall looked up briefly when the door to the craft opened, Juniper stepped out and promptly collapsed into the grass and whispered to it. He wondered if she would be of any help during this mission or simply lounge around. He brushed away the doubt as Cain snatched something from his pocket, a small shiny coin like object. It seemed to be a locket that Niall had put in his shirt pocket before they had left.

Niall was about to scold the creature when he heard Juniper speak to him. "I do believe that was the purpose of the hyper-sleep chambers. Hyper-sleep aside I do believe genetics might have played a role in that." He gave a toothy smile that displayed a pair of elongated fangs that didn't belong in his upright face. His chibit, out of habit he supposed, seem to grin as well. The little creature peeled his lips back at Juniper, exposing his sharp little white teeth.

"Cain, don't do that at people." He scolded the little creature giving him a soft thump on the head with the tip of one finger. More out of getting his feelings hurt than actually hurting Cain responded with a serious of angry chirps and chattering.

Hadrian groaned slightly as he came to, reaching out slowly to open his chamber. No graceful exit was in store for the shiftier however, as it seemed his legs were still used to the rest of hyper sleep, making him stumble slightly as he exited. Barely catching himself before he fell to the floor Hadrian sighed slightly "Legs still semi work, i suppose that's good. Arms? Ok they move, good good." Quietly he ran over a mental checklist of various extremities, rotating each one as it came up. Finalizing the mental list Hadrian grinned and stretched deeply, his elbows and shoulders popping in response.

His wake up ritual done the shifter finally stopped to take inventory of his surroundings. The immediate sights and circumstances told him that they had arrived safely, and the sounds told him that he was not the first one awake. Breathing deep Hadrian oriented himself towards the exit and left the ship, blinking slightly as his eyes dilated in the brighter light of the outside. As soon as he could see again Hadrian broke into a wide grin, it was a beautiful day on this new world. "Not new" he reminded himself as he set about walking around looking at everything, but mainly the trees and sky, fighting the urge to stretch his wings for a bit in the slight cool breeze that slowly rolled through the air "Odd to think we came from here so long ago, and now we are coming back. Well, more like visiting, or fact finding, but did they want us to set up a functioning colony? Probably not as they only sent us and not -"

His thinking was cut off as he almost ran face first into one of the cows, the beast of burden only giving him a weary glance and shake of it's head as he danced around it. Nodding to the cow Hadrian once more took a look around, there was the Were Niall tending to one of the animals, accompanied by (or at least talking to) the Seelie Juniper. He contemplated going that direction when he realized that doing so would run him straight into Elize, and not wanting to be rude he changed plan."Good Morning, or is it afternoon? Can't really say myself, haven't looked at a clock yet. But morning or not, they still got woken up before me. Cant say that i'm not a little bit hurt." he said as he approached, his tone joking and exaggerated

Séamus slowly opened his eyes as he awoke from hyper-sleep. His sensitive hearing noticed that people were already up. Séamus wasn't surprised, seeing as he was usually a heavy sleeper. He stretched all of his muscles and slowly stepped out of the pod. He strolled around, seeing how many people had already woken up. There were at least three so far, and he decided to see who they were.

Séamus went to where the animals were, firstly to see if Tadgh was awake yet, and also to see if there was anyone else there. As soon as he walked into the room with the animals, he could see Niall Collins, a werewolf from another pack. He scowled at him, and growled at him as he walked over to Tadgh.

Elize

Elize was standing beside her stallion, Stryke, and some of her other stock had moved to be near her. Despite her predatory nature she had raised these animals and served as their guard much like a sheep dog guarded it flock. This was her flock and she'd be damned if anything touched them. She could hear someone else get off the ship and tracked their steps until they moved about and around her towards her. When she heard a voice she turned sharply on her heel, eyes narrowed and body quivering and ready to shift at a moments notice.

The female Lycan stilled a bit when she realize it was only one of the other team members. The big stallion had stepped a couple paces back, his calm demeanor never changed though. He had seen Elize shift into her secondary forms many times in his life. When she stilled he stepped back up beside her, nosing her roughly in the shoulder to get her attention. "Nothing to be hurt about, we've all just woken up." Elize didn't really understand the humor behind the words, the Fae who had raised her, like all Fae could not lie and thus Elize had not grown up around it. She was genuinely puzzled now as she stood petting her stallion and a large Tutori who had come from her stock as well.

Elize did not like that Séamous was growling in the slightest, it made her very edgy. She didn't really remember a whole lot about when her parents had been killed but growling Lycans always set off a flood of unwanted emotions for her. It was one of the few things she did remember from that night, that and the blood that had covered her young body and matted her fur. As the emotions coursed through her her body blurred, and quivered, and burst, coming back together in a different form. She was suddenly a tall leggy tan canine, hackles up. She wasn't truly big enough to fight off the male but she was big enough to put up a fight. Her golden eyes gleamed with a truly wild glint as she stared at the male.

Niall

Niall was listening to Cain chatter excitedly, he could hear Hadrian speaking to who he guessed was Elize who had wandered over to her livestock. He had had horses at home but nothing like the quality animals she had requested be brought along. He could tell from how the animals reacted to her that they were her own stock. She must have been very wealthy which he thought was rather odd. He was also confused by the fact she didn't seem to have had a pack. She had never spoke of one in the months prior when they had all trained together.

He ignored Séamous growling, Elize's reaction was much more severe though. He wasn't really sure he had ever seen a Lycan transform that quickly. She was more primal than most that he had met but he was truly curious as to why she behaved the way she did. He didn't dare approach her but he did fear that Séamous would take her reaction as a threat or challenge though there was no contest there really. No one could ever be sure why but male lycans were always much larger and stronger than females.

Gwen awoke from Vampiric Hibernation having been disturbed by the change in the ship's environment. For her the state of Hibernation differed from what the others aboard the Explorer experienced. Gwen had simply lay down and allowed her body functions to slow to an imperceptible rate in which she nominally and intermittently aware of her circumstances and of the passing of the years around her as the ship fell through space. Gwen had served her purpose as watcher and was now ready to begin her second duty as a healer.

After stretching Gwen stepped of her couch and retrieved a magically preserved bottle that contained a mixture of bloods designed to refresh and replenish her body after such a long rest. She opened her locker and put on her best leathers and boots not knowing what type of environment she might soon have to step out into. She then checked her gear making sure it had all survived in long storage. Once sure she had all her things Gwen drifted through the ship as silently as a fog as she surveyed her surroundings.

When Fer awoke he waited before going out he thought about home for a minute he wanted to see it one more time before going out into this new world and his outlook changing to better suit the mission. After a moment of taking in the memory of Erellon he walked outside and almost instantly covered his eyes as he waited for his eyes to adjust he used his other senses. He smelt flowers on the ground what seemed to be lavender,he felt the breeze warm his flesh a little,he heard people chattering, some growling and what sounded like a grumpy chibit, and as his eyes adjusted he saw a beautiful landscape covered in grass and some trees. He had expected it to be mostly wasteland or ruins but it had been quite a long while since the humans had left it.

He walked around for a bit checking out the area he saw some fellow shipmates taking care of there animals and one laying on the ground appearing to be speaking to it but maybe she heard the voices of gia who he had heard from lore was the god of this planet at its younger years. After looking over the area he took it all in and sat down in the grass to start planning his first steps.

Séamus turned around to see that Elize had transformed into her canine form. He saw her staring at him, and took it as a threat. "What!?" he asked, "You want a fight!?"

Séamus began to walk slowly over to Elize, until he was about five feet away from her, looking down at her. Séamus took his shirt off, showing off his muscles. Raising his voice, he shouted, "I'll tear you to pieces!"

Juniper giggled. These people were strange, getting up and getting right to work. At least they would be entertaining. Maybe they did it because it was fun. After all the strange very serious people told her all she had to do was what she always did when she found somewhere she liked. Juniper rummaged around in her bag for a bit while people were talking to each other. She pulled out one of her favorite trinkets, a mirror ball and copper ring. Finally standing up she kissed it, threw it up in the air and spun around, and around, and around.

When it landed about 40 ft away from where the animals were gathered Juniper stopped spinning. She skipped over to it and flopped back onto the ground. Pressing her ear to the ground she whispered "What do you hide?" Deep below she could hear the roots thriving. "Ha! I knew one was near!" Juniper sat up and crossed her legs. She cracked her knuckles and got to work. Her nails started to tear at the ground, burrowing deeper and deeper. Juniper was happily humming an incoherent tune and just kept digging.

When one has regular dealings with Werewolves, especially in sensitive matters like pack relations and the like, one develops a number of rules. These can range anywhere from rule 12: Only bring jerky if you have enough to share and rule 13: One never has enough jerky to share, to the more extreme such as rule 22.

Never get involved in a Were fight, at the slightest notion of one, get out.

It was this last rule that Hadrian was all to happy to comply with the second Elize turned and shifted to respond to another Were. His execution was practiced and quick, taking just about as much time as it took Elize to respond to the other. He began by springing away from the shifting wolf, then launching himself backwards his form blurring into that of a large crow as he did so. Beating its wings hard and fast, the crow shot into the air, far out of reach of any leaping wolves. As he climbed Hadrian felt a slight breeze, and with it a sense of freedom, the Earth stretching out far beyond the trees, so much to see and so much sky to fly. He would have stayed longer, his black feathers being warmed by the sun. But he still had things to do on the ground, so he lowed his ascent and brought himself down on top of the ship, letting out a slightly annoyed Caw at the direction of the wolves. Noting the waking of other members of the crew Hadrian hopped over to the edge of the ship to get a better look at them, his head involuntarily tilting slightly to the side as he did so.

Fer heard the commotion and saw the gaia whisperer throw an crystal ball into the air and it floated to a specifc location like a tracker of some kind, then she hopped over to it and started digging but just as he was about to go inspect what she had found he noticed two werewolves were about to fight so he immediately ran over to them and yelled. "Hey!!! we are here as a team to build this world back up and we need all members to be at there best so stop this foolery or I will stop it!" He said as he unsheathed his dual katanas and readied himself."I have fought armies of well trained soldiers and I can asure you a werewolf is of no threat to me but I tell you this once out of kindness either take the kind gesture and go about your duties or blood will be the first thing we bring to this new world!"

'Sweet Moon' Niall thought briefly, just as he had feared the pretentious wolf had taken the tiny female as a threat. Juniper was of little help and Hadrian had run off. The Warlock, Fer, had gone quickly over there and begun yelling which probably was only going to escalate the situation. Just as he was about to head over there a small odd looking creature (#5 Small Mammal) ran through their gathering, it was bloodied and obviously injured. It paid them no mind, trying to escape something that must have been more worrying than they were. The creature gave an awful shriek, he assumed it was to alert any other prey animals to run for their lives.

A beast (#3 Large Mammal) like nothing Niall had ever seen before came crashing through the trees after the much smaller animal. When it reached their gathering it changed its course, looking them over like pieces of meat and a delicious meal it had not had before. It was massive, much larger than even Niall's own father who was a truly massive creature pushing the size limits for a Lycan. Cain, who had been on his shoulder thus far took off towards the open door of the ship, as had some of the other prey animals. The beast was probably the size of he and Séamous put together and it would take all of them it seemed to run it off. If they were to survive this trip they would have to all be a pack and put aside their differences. He could only hope that Séamous' other instincts would kick in, the instinct to protect females from any and all threats, especially unmated ones like Elize.

The beast had the head of a bird and the body of some predatory beast but its front legs were those of a bird of prey with what must have been six inch talons and it was nearest to Elize and the others there. It seemed to be pausing to evaluate the situation before it attacked but it was going to go for Elize first he could already see.

If Hadrian had one complaint about his avian form, it was that one cannot swear easily with a beak. Especially when something large come crashing through the underbrush on a hunt right into middle of camp, which would make most sane individuals swear in both real and on the spot languages. But Hadrian still managed with a loud Caw, followed by various loud noises that one could assume was the Crow stating some key things about the size, disposition, and state of questionable parentage of the large predator.

"Enough Hadrian!Get a hold of yourself!" he scolded himself silently as he watched to proceedings of the animal. It simply stood there as the beasts of burden bolted for the ship in a near stampede, perhaps it was as dumbstruck as the Lycans seemed to be at the sight of such a thing. Yet the shifter could see the things shoulders tense, and its front legs draw back slightly, all signs that pointed to a charge. In that instant, Hadrian's mind flashed to a footlocker that was stationed near where his Hyper sleep chamber was, perhaps he could get there and back before everything fell apart?

It was a risk for sure, but he trusted the Lycan's strength and pack mentality to keep the thing at bay, so once more he launched himself into the air, his wings beating furiously to gain him as much seed as possible as he made a tight downwards U turn from the top of the ship into the opening. He was slowed slightly in the interior, as enclosed flying was nowhere near his strongest point, but still he made it to what was once his room for many years. Shifting as fast as he could as he brought himself to the foot locker, there was little time or room for error. With a jerking motion he brought his right thumb up to the footlocker's lock, which unlatched as it registered him.

As it opened silently it reviled many of his personal effects, most of which were ignored as he nearly dove to grab a oddly shaped device and a leg quiver with a full compliment of arrows, which was promptly strapped to Hadrians right leg. With that done Hadrian flipped a couple switches on the device and gave it a sharp shake, causing the device to unfold and reveal itself as a bow, its limbs clicking into place and its string going taut.

Taking only the time to give a satisfied smile, Hadrian left the locker still slightly open and bolted towards the outside, his hands fetching an arrow as he did in a fluid, practiced motion and knocked it on the string. He hoped he wasn't too late, but something told him the fun was just starting. Slowing, Hadrian exited the ship once more, but this time with a bow at partial draw.

When the creatured rushed up Fer turned to see it and assesed the situation it wasn't friendly it was turned toward elise and was ready to strike.Fer noticed one of his shipmates had readied himself with a bow so he yelled "Aim for the eyes ill keep it busy" He then whispered under his breathe before charging the creature "Im sorry for the soul,I have to take, but part of mine, aswell will break,it is what, needs to be done,on your journey to gia,i will help you begin." Then Fer charges the creature and as it lunges he slides under it and slices the tendons on its legs renduring it emobile then looked to Hadrian to make the shot but just as he does Fer bows his head and closes his eyes.

If I get out of this thing looking 25 years older I'll...probably do nothing...suppose if I'm wrinkly I'll be less likely to be eaten...who in there right mind would go for tough old meat first

This kind of thought process was fairly common when it came to Nizhoni Tecumseh, if she wasn't musing about pointless things such as this, she was brainstorming ideas or thinking up new tool designs. As her hyper-sleep wore off, Niz immediately started to fidget, wriggling anything that was awake enough to move. Once she'd managed to shake off the effects of the drugs in her system, she pushed the door to her chamber open and practically bounced out into the open part of the ship. Throwing her arms up in a huge stretch the energetic shapeshifter placed her hands on her face to feel for any wrinkles. "Hmm...none to speak of" she murmured to herself unsure whether she was disappointed by this fact or not.

After coming to the conclusion she hadn't aged at all during the long travel, Niz had a quick look around her to see if there was anyone close by. Considering everyone seemed to currently be outside apart from Hui-fang who was awake but still in her pod. The shapeshifter made the decision to head straight for the section of the ship that had held the animals. She was eager to be reunited with Shilah and wanted to check up on Hashké to make sure they'd had a safe journey. With a bounce to her step the young shapeshifter was rather surprised to see that most of the animals were already up and moving about outside of the ship. Moving carefully through the ones still inside, she approached a nervous looking mare and offered her hand for it to sniff before reaching up with her other and begun to trace calming circles across her skin just above her shoulders and up her neck. "Hey...nothing to be afraid of" she murmured to the mare in a soft tone, knowing the horse wouldn't understand but that her calming tone wouldn't go to waste.

Of course no sooner had the mare begun to relax, one of the males outside raised his voice and started yelling at someone, instantly putting the mare back on edge. "...or not" Niz sighed, lowering her hand and moving away from the mare she made her way through a throng of dairy cows and came to stand in the entrance of the animals section of the ship , looking over at the small group of werewolves to see what all the fuss was about. "Tetchy as they are, you got to admire them, right?" She stated, looking down at her feet as a small chibit wrapped itself around her ankle trying to purr and chatter at the same time as it rubbed itself against her shins. "Hey you, how was your trip?" She grinned down at Shilah, reaching down to scratch him behind the ears as he chattered excitedly in response to her question.

When the greeting was over the creamy brown chibit climbed its way up onto her shoulders and wrapped itself around the back of her neck, clearly content to remain there and purr in her ear as she wandered outside in search of Hashké. Niz felt truly at ease on this new planet, though she was aware it was dangerous and unknown and despite the inevitability of a Lycan fight, she felt fairly safe where she was...well she did until the large creature came crashing out of the trees. Shilah's fur puffed out in alarm and with a squawk he turned tail and leapt off of Niz's shoulders, running for the safety of the ship with a large chunk of the other animals. "Whoa...what did your mother feed you when you were younger" Niz murmured to herself, feeling her jaw drop open as the large creature turned towards them and begun eyeing them up. "Ah...that was not the answer I was looking for" the shapeshifter automatically reached for her belt hoping to find her tomahawks there...unfortunately she'd left them back in her locker.

...plan B it is Just as Fer raced towards the large mammal, Niz swiftly shifted into her panther form, splaying her legs apart and lifting her head, she flattened her ears against her skull and roared at the creature to try and get its attention as it lunged at the warlock. She thought he was rather lucky to avoid injury as he slid underneath it and slashed the tendons on the back of its legs before moving aside to let Hadrian take a shot at it...she also felt herself wondering why they hadn't tried to simply scare it off rather than killing it, what effect could that have on their surroundings? Would more come after it?

25 years is a long time...was I too hasty in my decision?

That thought dragged through Hui-fang's mind over and over as she slowly regained an awareness of her surroundings. She had taken a little longer than the others to stir from her hyper sleep, though she had seen a few of them already exit the ship she hadn't made a move to follow them. She stayed in her chamber stewing over her predicament, when she had been asked to go on the trip she had been desperate to escape from her responsibilities. Her father had been against the idea but he'd foolishly thought Hui-fang would have rejected the offer and had put it to the back of his mind whilst he fawned over her mother and the precious baby boy she carried.

Foolish father Hui-fang thought to herself as she rolled her shoulders and reached out to push the door to her chamber open. Once she was outside she took a few deep breaths of fresh air before stretching out her muscles trying to wake them up and at the same time she tested the flexibility of her new clothing. She was impressed by what the pixies had given to them, not as flexible as she was used to but it wasn't far off. Her sensitive hearing picked up on the others moving around outside, whilst they tended to the livestock she made for her locker eager to be reunited with her equipment. Pulling out two few darts from their pouch, she tucked the blunt between her lips before reaching up and running her fingers through her hair.

As the Irish werewolf started shouting threats, Hui-fang was securing the last dart in place, though she didn't have a mirror to check herself in she'd used the metal objects in this manner plenty of times. I wonder who he's starting on...? Securing the dart pouch around her waist so they say on her lower back next to her three willow-leafed blades, the werewolf left her Taiji sword and Katana in the safety of her locker. Just as she closed the door a rather large crow flapped its way into the interior of the ship, pulling her lip back to show her elongated fangs the werewolf ducked out of its way, raising an eyebrow at it as it turned into a man, Hadrian.

"What are you-" As the bow unfolded Hui-fang turned away from the shapeshifter and shot out of the ship, her eyes took a few moments to adjust to the light. But as they did she saw Fer running towards the best with his duel katana's at the ready, the slide and execution was impressive, with its tendons sliced the creature would probably have difficulty moving...but that didn't necessarily mean it was down for the count. She'd heard Nizhoni roar in an attempt to draw the creatures attention, though she wasn't entirely sure what the shapeshifter hoped to accomplish...either way she found herself distracted by Fer who had yet to move away from the unknown creature "Don't just stand there" The werewolf grumbled to herself before ducking down a little so as to keep out of Hadrian's way, she quickly moved between the few herd animals that hadn't already run for the shelter and was almost ploughed down by a banos as it suddenly decided it was time to retreat. Without missing a beat Hui-fang coiled her legs beneath her and propelled herself over its head landing lightly on its back for a few seconds before she pulled a forward flip and landed a few metres away from Niall. "That is...huge" She stated, watching the unknown beast carefully, her entire body was tense and clearly ready to strike should something go amiss. She was cursing herself for not picking up her other weapons or taking the time out to lace her daggers with poison.

Elize

When the creature appeared the tall tawny female turned on it as it lashed out. When Fer attacked the creature he had miraculously forgotten the creature's massive wings and though he attempted to severe the creatures front tendons it didn't seem to have worked. Now the creature was bloodied and angry. The creature's front legs were plated like a birds but the plating on this creature seemed to be much harder than they appeared. Just before it lashed out the beast gave an ear piercing shriek and Elize flattened her ears against the sound. It rose up with just a few hard flaps of its wings and struck out with talons and a sharp beak. Elize attempted to dodge the creature's strike but she simply wasn't fast enough. It slashed open a spot on her shoulder but her instincts kicked in and she lashed out with open jaws and razor sharp teeth but she only got a mouth full of feathery hair.

Airborne the creature shrieked again before rising up higher off the ground only to dive down at some of the others.

Niall

Niall had gone ahead and shifted into his lupine form, his hulking black shape gave evidence of his rank in the pack. Twin to the heir of the pack was a hard life, scars criss crossed his face and his brilliant yellow eyes shone fiercely as his hackles pulled up. When the creature attacked Elize and he realized how fast this creature could be, both on the ground and in the air he was shocked. It didn't look like it would be nearly that swift. Elize was fast but she only managed to get a mouth full of fur and what looked like feathers.

With the creature lashing out Niall launched himself out through the air and came crashing down atop the creature. It slashed and squawked as Niall weighted the creature down. Not in a position to kill the creature Niall was relying on the rest of this make-shift pack to kill the creature before it killed one of the others or himself.

"Aim for the eyes on a rampaging monster, much easier said than done im afraid.." Hadrian thought as the rumble with the creature got well underway. Taking a deep breath in he steadied his hands and drew back on the bow string as he raised it to eye level, the matte grey broad-head lining up with the thing's head when it jumped. "Son of a... are you kidding me!"

Tacking it Hadrian waited for a good shot when it the thing was picked out of a dive by the two wolves, a melee of fur and feathers beginning on the ground, the thing shrieking in pain and the wolves growling in response. Gritting his teeth Hadrian positioned the bow as best he could and hoped that the shifting mass of the fight didn't change much as he loosed his arrow. A deep twang resonated as the string snapped to its neutral position, flinging the arrow towards the thing. A deep meaty TWACK answered the bow's own previous sound, and while he couldn't see exactly where it had hit, Hadrian was pretty sure that he had struck the base of one of the wings or into the neck. Probably not a kill shot, but hopefully a debilitating enough one as to keep it on the ground or at least injure it. However he didn't have time to hope that long as he drew another arrow and prepped to fire.

As Fer looked up he noticed the beast had monuvered and his tendons were still intact. After the beast attacked the female werewolf Elize it went to the skys but was met by the other werewolf Niall and was brought back down to ground level.Hadrian took his shot but Fer didnt see where it had hit the creature.Fer charged the creature once again from the back and slashed at the creatures spinal colum away from where Niall was rumbling with the creature it wouldnt kill but it would paralyze if he hit it right but just as he swung he was swept into his past.He was back in his younger years in his last battle fighting for Gandar it was the war that changed Fer forever he was slicing through groups of soldiers like paper until he got to there leader.Sinder.Sinder and Fer went at it for what seamed like ages until it finally ended with Sinder on his knees laughing "You really think he will give you your parents back I doght he even has them there probably long dead by now.You are foolish to believe Gandar he only wants more power and your just a tool he is using to get it." Fer decapitated him before he could say anymore. "Could he be right are my parents long gone and I'm just a fool who went along hoping to live life normal again." He tried not to believe what Sinder had told him but he had to know and when he found out it sent him in a rage Fer felt the rage he had felt before but it was quickly overcome by the sadness that followed. He came out of his daze to realize he was on the ground and his chest was slashed. He wasnt sure how bad he had wounded the creature or if he even hit it at all.He watched as he layed motionless on the ground still weilding his katanas. He took one last look at the world around him how peaceful it looked subside the battle that was taking place. He then lashed out cutting off the creatures tail and drawing its attention from the others. He hoped this would give them enough time to rest the creature while it rested him.

Considering her roar had barely even seemed to bother the creature, Nizhoni reared up on her back legs and slammed her front paws down in front of her with a hiss of annoyance before she lurched forward into a run. She was still a good distance away as the creature's shrill shriek pierced her ears causing her to slow right down as she brought her head lower to the ground and flattened her ears back against her skull. Touche...that roar was ten times more scary than mine!...and more painful Niz's thoughts were scattered at the best of times... The panther shapeshifter released a sharp growl as it managed to strike Elize before escaping with little more than a bald patch as the lycan snapped her powerful jaws at it.

As the creature jumped into the air Niz reared up on her back legs and treated the creature to another sharp roar, before she leant back on her hind quarters ready to launch herself at it. Though she changed her tactics as it swooped down at her, reaching out with a razor sharp beak that bit into the panthers right shoulder before it was batted away with a paw. As the creature turned away from Nizhoni, Niall launched himself at it, weighing it down and forcing it to turn its side on Niz, clipping her head with its wing as it thrashed around beneath the large were. Ha! You think that hurts? Trying living with two older brothers! Nizhoni felt the side of her mouth pull up as she ducked under the bird beast's flailing wing, with the intention of sinking her talon like fangs into the wing joint hoping to do some damage. However the panther was blissfully unaware of what her comrades were up to and didn't think to check if she was in their way, which meant if Hadrian's arrow did connect with the base of the beasts wing it skimmed Niz's head as it did, if it connected with the beast's neck it merely gave the panther shapeshifter a mini heart attack.

That was close...really close, you have really got to work on your teamwork Nizhoni! Without sparing a glance back, Nizhoni decided she needed to change her tactics...somehow, she saw Fer charge at the beast's back but before she could see whether he'd done any damage the creatures massive wing swung at her knocking her clean off of her feet and sending her rolling a few feet back. By the time Nizhoni had recovered Fer was on the ground with a slash to the chest and Hui-fang was moving in on creature. With the heavy scent of Fer's blood mixing with the creatures in the air, a new sense of urgency came over Niz as she scrabbled to her feet. Just as Fer lashed out to sever the creatures tail and pull its attention away from the others, the panther shapeshifter skidded to a halt beside him effortlessly shifting into her secondary form she positioned herself between the wounded man and the beast with a low growl prepared to keep the thing from taking anymore chunks out of Fer Tanking time, bring it on big guy...or girl...or both?

Hui-fang ducked into a crouch as the creature splayed its wings and shrieked, with a hiss she instinctively covered her ears but kept her eyes on the beast. Watching as it rose off of the ground before striking out at Elize with impressive speed, there was little Hui-fang could have done to protect the other female from the beasts talons though she had every intention of making the beast pay for it. As soon as Niall shifted, Hui-fang felt a tremble run the length of her spine and it took all of her will power to remain human. She dove to the side rolling across the grass as the large male landed on top of the creature and weighted it down, coming to rest at a safe distance in front of the squawking creature Hui-fang finally shifted into her lupine form. Pressing her cream belly against the floor she carefully edged her way forward through the grass, remaining as small and insignificant as she could, her ears flickered as an arrow whizzed through the air before embedding itself in the creatures flesh.

She'd seen how fast this thing could move and what she was planning on doing was risky, it had to be timed perfectly. Her calm yellow eyes tracked Fer's movement through the thrashing of legs, wings, fur and feathers, hoping that the warlock would be able to do enough damage behind the creature to divert its attention just long enough...if not Nizhoni was becoming a difficult opponent to ignore. Knowing she couldn't delay any longer Hui-fang crawled closer to the creature still so she was only just out of its reach as it thrashed around and waited for the creature to lift its head. As soon as it did whether it was only slight or not, Hui-fang suddenly launched herself at it with an open mouth aiming to lock her jaws as well as herself around the underside of its throat. A risky move but worth the price, providing she managed to get a hold of the creature and not just a mouthful of feathery hair she applied a hefty amount of pressure to the creatures windpipes and hoped one of her sharp fangs had hit a vessel.
