Ehh, at what point is your character 'seeing' Judgement's attack to react to it Dj? I'm not really sure how that would be possible considering the nature of flipping your body backwards.

Also, you've changed the time-frame, as I said in my post the speed of Judgement's attack would lead him to crash into your character -as- her hands touched the ground, did she have any reason/or ability to speed up her move in response to Judgement's attack? That's the only way things should have changed sufficiently that you could react in the fashion you've stated.

Maybe Vordak should have a look at the situation, there seems to be a disparity here. Arena is all about capitalising on people placing themselves in bad situations, I'd be a little dissapointed if someone could escape flawlessly after using a very flawed evasion tactic in real combat.

Just saying.

She's cartwheeling. Not backflipping. Y'know, one of these:

There's a plain and clear difference.

She's cartwheeling by turning her body to the right, swiveling it down, planting her hands on the floor as she flips the rest of her body up and around. And since Judgement's knee strike is coming in from his left, her right, she is in clear view of that strike leaving the floor as her head goes down and her body goes up.

This is my only concern. Though i may as well question in return Judgment's ability to achieve such perfect timing on his attack.

But otherwise, i'd rather let Itsuki have her dodge, than let a dispute rise over this. FYI, her move still remains highly punishable, even after the dodge.

Fine. I'll go re-do my post to show her getting hit. Not gonna argue or anything. Pointless cause I'm clearly the weaker one here.

Maybe that's for the best. Your initial version of the post actually opened Itsuki up to a far more vicious follow-up than just a knee strike, so you might as well just be trading your pawn to keep the queen safe.

The response I can give is my characters attack was genuinely pre-planned, he always intended to launch into a flying knee after his strike because it was very easy to predict how someone's character would avoid it. I thought that smashing straight into her as she ducked under the sword strike would be a little too quick despite Judgement's greater momentum due to his charge, but honestly crashing into her at that point when she was facing Judgement would be worse for her, as her feet would be off the ground and her hands, meaning she couldn't do -anything- to lessen the impact.

Actually, when looking at the cartwheel video I realise Judgement probably could have just chopped her in half, but there was no way he could predict she'd expose her lower body like that so hey-ho.

I'm joking, of course.

But it really, really, really gets on my nerves when someone acts all uppity like that.

Please don't do it again, Melon. Else I really consider conceding.

I'm not apologizing for my sense of humour, if you have an inability to distinguish between serious and humorous remarks ask in future, or look out for obvious signs such as replacing letters with numbers which is a very common internet meme for angry English people at the moment.

Unless you're calling me uppity for pointing out that a cartwheel in a fight is a bad idea, in which case, whatever, you're wrong.

Not the cartwheel thing. I get the cartwheel thing. I was just trying to be a bit stylish which didn't work.

That's fine then, everything else was a joke. In some circumstances the cartwheel wouldn't have even been a big deal, only in this case Judgement had the capacity to punish it.

That's just melons lack of using emotes in his post. Which really, when someone then does not understand he's using humor, is his own fault. This being the internet you pretty much needs emotes to well, reveal the meaning in your post. Imagine if texting didn't have those.

I've also seen ppl argue seriously with 'm8', and considering his geography, one would understand if he does not pick up on the post not being serious. Heck I've lived in Canada and never even heard of this type of humor involving numbers replacing letters. And Canadians love kissing British ass.

Use a freaking smiley yo. :P

Gr8 b8 m8. I r8 8/8.

Anyways, at first I thought you meant cut her in half vertically from between the legs, which would be very hard to accomplish if she's rolling away from you due to having to hit before she turns away much at all. Rolling towards you would provide a longer opportunity and reaction time. Horizontally is more likely.

If this debacle has bee settled i'll post after work and dinner.

I did mean horizontal, but that isn't what Judgement did anyway and by all accounts I think everything is sorted now.

Well Khan, I don't usually type with numbers replacing letters, though I suppose I should start using emotes.
