Alex Cedar - Route Two

Alex's gaze turned from the pokeball, to Steven at his question. "I dunno. Maybe it was something really important, and they had to leave now." As he continued walking, his next step had a cruncn under it. The soft grass they were walking on, had turned to a rough sand under their feet.

He looked up at the sand covered city. He noticed a small hotel as they waalked. His mom had sent money with him, quite a lot, in fact, so he could probably get a good room. "What do you say?"

Gym Battle - Dune Town

Garret put a hand on his head, as he thought. He needed to pull of this win. "Sandile, double team, sand attack!" The Sandile was moving so fast, it trapped, the Ralts in a mini sandstorm, it inflicting damage on the Ralts. A little more.

Team Nexus - Grand City - Above The Studio

Nexus was on the roof of the studio. The laser cutting was a slow process, but it worked, and they were in. Their bags were filling up with pokeballs, and they were good to go. The back room they were in had a huge selection, and they were about to leave, when a grunt knocked over a shelf, the noise echoing throughout the whole building.. only a few were able to get out at a time, but at least some got away, before the backroom door was opened, following with a scream for Miss VonGoshe to come quick.

Fantasia Heirloom - Miss Von Goshe's Studio

Vanessa looked over at Blair, continuing to hold that appalled yet condescending half-smile; he was talking to Fantasia about leaving, which Miss Von Goshe felt was her place to add-on.

"-I'd hope you'd take your leave after the filth you have tainted my studio with."

From the floor, Fantasia batted her eyelashes upwards at Vanessa with tear-stricken eyes; holding her Budew closely in her arms, as if to shield the Pokemon from further harm.

"Listen, prick..." Vanessa started, glaring maliciously at Fantasia's glossy eyes, "-If you expected to get a point across in that rambling and rather incoherent response, your attempts were in vain -and may I be frank?"

Vanessa turned away from the two, signaling for the security guards to escort the two from the premises, "-First impressions can be tough and when I saw you; I knew it -If your performance weren't enough, that last outburst just blew it."

The security guards grabbed both of the teens by the arms, holding them in place until Miss Von Goshe was finished with the roast, "-and so my dear so naive and worthless, you'll never be in so I'm kicking you out; with your form and your sad little face, oh well it isn't your fault. You're plain, average and washed-up; go back to your roots with the slums of the world!"

Vanessa and the crowd had outburst with laughter, it was apparent to Fantasia that they were only doing it so they themselves wouldn't be denied an audition.

Fantasia wanted to rebut at Miss Von Goshe, looking as if she was going to cry hysterically but held herself together for the sake of the few shreds of dignity she had left.

Rather abruptly, a faint roar of a helicopter began to get louder and louder, until the noise shook the studio walls; the auditioners quickly became frantic and worried, to which Vanessa shrugged off.

"Escort these two from th-" Vanessa was interrupted.

"Miss Von Goshe! Come quick!" an assistant cried desperately, rushing towards the back room.

As Blair was getting Fantasia to her feet, Von Goshe was apparently speaking, apparently. Though in all honesty he wasn't listening. A person who treats others with such cruelty will never be properly acknowledged by him, no matter how good they were. As the two were altogether, with Empress sitting by his side, he turned back to Von Goshe who had finally finished speaking.

"I-I'm sorry? Were you saying something...?", he remarked. The laughter in the hall was actually hilarious as well... The way these people laughed was so picaresque and almost fake. Though before this lady could tell them to be escorted... Which Blair could kindly do himself anyways and was about to, it appears an incident was taking place. Helicopters and apparently one of her servants came down to inform her.

"My my, talk about timing", he said to himself. This would be the perfect chance to escape, but being a resident of Grand City... These kinds of events were not commonplace. A terrorist attack, or people who had a grudge against her. If it was the latter, he would gladly leave her to her fate. If it was the former... Well, he shall see for now.

Rob Redgrave | Grand City

Rob and his Abra sat in the center of town in the park, he was throwing crumbs and watching a Spearow and a Fletchling chirping at each other, having some kind of argument over it. Abra slowly walked towards the Fletchling, before placing a hand on its head. The Abra's eyes glowed, before the Fletchling fluttered over to Rob, sitting beside him on the bench, Rob put a hand out to pet it, but the pokemon was smart enough to take the entire piece of bread before flying off. "You told him to do that, didn't you?" he scowled at the Abra. It stared at the Spearow that was now gorging itself on the crumbs.

Rob saw a Helicoptor fly overhead. That was a little odd, Helicoptors weren't exactly commonplace. He watched it as it headed towards a fancy looking building. He sighed, he had seen that building on the Pokemon Channel. It belonged to that devil woman that stroked her ego by insulting others. It was probably her making a fancy entry. He sat back in the bench, every so often looking over to the helicoptor. Soon, Abra began to tug at his shirt, before pointing at the building. Abra put his hand on his head. He began to feel an immense amount of fear pulsing from the building. "What the hell...?" it was at that point that he saw blue powder being scattered near the top of the building, before news crews began to arrive. "Can you go check it out?" he asked. Abra nodded before in a flash of light, he teleported.

He appeared in a hallway to find that blue powder was beginning to be pumped out of the ventilation, he had seen Sleep Powder often enough to know that this was going to end badly. A spore landed on his nose. At this point he paniced and began to teleport rapidly and wildly. First to the roof, then to the presentation room, then to a room surrounded by machamps, landing on one's head, it looked up and swiped at him, then he teleported to the roof again, hit by further spores, before finally, spotting Rob and teleporting back to him, falling asleep as soon as he arrived. He fell asleep in Robs arms "Sleep easy." he said, pulling a pokeball out and depositing him in it. It was then that Ghastly burst from his ball. "Hey Banquo. Let's see what's going on over there."

As many stockpiled the pokeballs into the helicopter, five stayed behind, ready ro fight. Four had Manetric's, while one had an Ivysaur. As VonGoshe stormed into the backroom, the Ivysaur was already prepared. The grunts were wearing gas masks, and the pokemon released sleep powder from its bulb. The knocked out VonGoshe and assistant where put in a storage compartment, while more came back down to take the rest. Two from the helicopter came down with net guns, and started to take pokemon from their owner. The studio was absolute chaos; Machamps blocked the exits, electrical surges were sent through the building, sleep powder was everwhere, and a certain someone's Budew was missing.

Within minutes, the news was all over this, eating it up, but was soon put to rest. A Raichu stood atop the studio, sending a Zap Cannon at the rotors of a News Helicopter, sending it spinning out of control, crashing into a restaurant. It was all part of a plan, and that plan, had now initiated.

Fantasia held her Budew tightly as an eruption of screaming and panic exploded from the Audition room, people banging on the doors and screaming what sounded like murder.

Fantasia recalled her startled Budew back into the pokeball, "-Blair! What's going on?!"

Suddenly, she felt very faint; as if every part of her body was fatigued, when it was fine only moments ago.

Before she knew it, she was waking up on the floor of the building next to a sleeping Blair; she looked around frantically for Budew's pokeball before waking up Blair.

When the grogginess wore off, Blair seemed just as confused and shocked as Fantasia, whatever was happening; it wasn't good.

Just then, before either of them could react; a loud bang followed by a huge explosion had taken place across the street which sent Fantasia into panic mode.

Will Blair and Fantasia make it out unscathed?

Blair placed his hand on his head as he got his bearings. Fantasia seemed to come and tend to him, though she wasn't exactly in the most stable of mindsets now. Based on her frantic actions, and a missing Pokeball, her Budew was taken. Next was an explosion across the street. As Blair stood up, he began to take in the surroundings, but first...

"Stay calm Fantasia... Empress?", he assured her, placing a hand on her back. As he called for his Eevee, he looked around briefly, before he could see the Eevee emerge from the dust. It seems she was overlooked due to the other shinies around her... Fortunate. It was amazing how agile she was too, else it would've been easy for one or two to grab her, but at the very least this meant Blair had his own Pokemon still... Though Budew was Fantasia's one and only... Where did they take them? Nevermind that, they had to get out of here first.

"Alright, first we have to get out of here, first away from the Sleep Powder", he began. He was calm about all this, though truthfully he was afraid of making the wrong move. He looked around for such an opportunity, but it was hard pressed... Von Goshe was in the backroom and the terrorists began to round people up. They had to move to avoid that. Blair managed to make it to another room, it seemed to be a store room for props in the studio, but it was also fairly large... They could hide here and figure out a plan.

"Now stay calm... Deep breaths... We will get Budew back... But first we have to figure out how to respond appropriately. Police have to already be on their way, but they'll get away by then", he explained. So what was the plan...? Well, he didn't have one yet. He needed more information. Empress was loyally on watch while they sat in an obscured area of the storage room.

"Come on Ralts, hold on a little longer, use Magical Leaf in that whirlwind!" Hadaron cried out. Ralts nodded obediently, though it was unable to see its trainer through the smoke and summoned the whirring blades of green and sent them randomly throughout the storm. Given the wind and the dispersal of the attack some of the leaves would have to hit the Sandile sooner or later stopping its attack. If Ralts was going to take one more hit after this Hadaron would be forced to surrender, but for now. "As soon as it comes out finish him!"

As the Magical Leaves came out, the Sandile moved from place to place, changing the directory of the whirlwind, sending the leaves in different places. As the whirlwind was going, the Double Team "copies" of the Sandile went into the whirlwind, the real one following behind. The fakes had gone right through the Ralts' leaves, and the real clamped down on its arm with its menacing jaws, shaking the Ralt's about wildly.

Del Rosas moved through the gas, and smoke, and tapped his com to answer the buzz emitting from it.

"Is it done?" Del Rosas was hesitant to answer, as it was done, but he hated it to be done. "Y-Yes sir." Through the com was a deep sigh of relief, or at least what Del Rosas hoped was relief. When the speaker continued, it was a deep, and dark voice, just like before. "Good. Report to HQ. There's a chopper coming for the others. End Transmission."

Del Rosas made his way back to the back room, and motioned for the others to stay behind and finish. He grasped on to a rope, and was hoisted up to the monstrosity of a helicopter, making its way back to HQ. HQ. It had been a while since he'd been there.

While Del Rosas was taking his leave from the scene, the others continued packing up the remaining pokeballs that wouldn't fit, one, containing, a Budew.

Hadaron resisted the urge to sigh, he should've known a gym leader was to much for his first real battle. He needed more training. Tal needed more training. Maybe they could beat this gym later, but right now he just had to accept that Garret was too strong for him right now. Hadaron reluctantly tapped the button on his poke-ball twice, once to return Tal to him and once to release him. Tal disliked the poke-balls for some reason, Hadaron couldn't fathom why, every other pokemon he had ever known seemed content to remain in them. Hadaron bowed before the gym leader, and Ralts imitated his movement. "Thank you for the battle." he said simply and turned to leave already thinking how to begin training. First of course he would have to get to Tal to a pokemon center to make sure he fully recovered...
