Personality: Hadaron is confident and its clear in the way he acts. He trusts himself and his Pokemon more than anyone else. Though this belief in himself can lead to him being overconfident and thus careless, generally it ensures that he pulls through any situation. Other than this Hadaron is a rather simple person. He enjoys both battling, and watching others battle. He is friendly and trusting, perhaps overly so. His primary focus is training.
History: Hadaron was an un naturally solemn child, rarely showing much emotion. That is until he met a Ralts on one of his trips into the woods that he so often took. Slowly he began becoming more active, talking more, being more friendly. His parents encouraged him to go to trainer school to better learn how to take care of Ralts but he refused. Everything he needed to learn he would learn on his own.
Of course he wanted to train Ralts to become stronger but he didn't think it was fair to ask Ralts to train by itself. So he devised a training regimen for both of them and together every day they would head into the woods and train. His parents didn't like the notion very much but they couldn't deny the positive effects that Ralts had on him. Soon Hadaron decided that they had enough training by themselves and were ready to go on a Pokemon journey and train against Gym Leaders and other Pokemon trainers.

Personality: Alice is a distant girl who looks like to emotionless to any unwary observer even if, in truth she's very sweet and caring underneath that facade. The reason why Alice behaves like this is because she's a psych, but still too young control her powers properly, thus putting her under great distress from constantly reading people's thought even when she doesn't want to.
History: Alice is an orphan who has been raised for most of her life in an orphanage where she had no friends because of her strange powers. It was so until one day when an Abra suddenly teleported to the backyard of the orphanage, after fleeing from a trainer that was trying to capture her. All the girls at the orphanage became quite scare of the Pokemon, but Alice knew that it didn't meant any harm, in fact the Abra had been hurt by Steel Wing and was suffering considerably.
Alice approached the Pokemon and offered it a small berry. Once she gained the Abra's trust, she took him to the nearest Pokemon Center and the nurse healed it. After that Alice and the Abra had been inseparable, even though pets were prohibited at the orphanage, whenever the adults came to check, the Abra would just teleport away and come to meet Alice later.
After a while of this, one night she heard a stunningly beautiful voice singing along with her in the distance and from that point on, the voice sang along with her each night; gradually sounding closer as each day passed. Around a month later Fantasia twirled around her room singing along with the beautiful voice in the distance when suddenly Haunter phased though the wall and startled her so bad she began to cry, she leaned out the window and cradled her head into her arms; paralyzed. Suddenly, she felt a soft hand on her shoulder.
Because of this past experience, Fantasia has grown a deep hatred for her greedy father. She died her hair to resemble the friend she used to have in Meloetta and often buys white and black clothes as a tribute to her.
Personality: Rin is a calm individual who thinks ahead rather than rush into everything. She remains calm and cool though she does have a habit of bursting out in laughing fits if she finds something funny. Still afterwards she is always apologetic for that happening and tries her best to regain her composure. She is a kind person but she does come across as a bit untruthful to what she actually means somethings shouting things out quickly where it sounds like one word.
History: Rin comes from a pretty well off family. Her father was once a pretty well off trainer and as such she was always by pokemon most of her life. She helped her family take care of the pokemon and grew to love some of them. Though this caused her to want a pokemon of her own one that she could raise and care for by herself. Seeing this her parents after much discussion gave her a pokemon egg of her own on her birthday.
This egg would become her Clauncher which she cared for and raised with diligence. Taking care of clauncher and some of her father's pokemon she grew to love certain types of pokemon in this case it was water type. Instead of going out at the normal age for most pokemon trainers she decided to stay back a few more years to study and learn more about her own pokemon among others.
Wanted Starter: Clauncher
Nickname: Soma
Level: 6
Gender: Female
Ability: Mega Launcher
Moveset: water gun, dragon pulse, splash, aqua jet
Personality: Somewhat lazy, Steven wonāt do anything heās not told too. Sometimes immovable, he rarely deviates or extends from a given task, unless something personally takes his interest. Heās quite whimsical, relaxed and somewhat unmotivated, largely content to live and let live. However, his family pushed him to be a trainer and some of his friends are also trainers, so heās becoming a trainer if only to make them leave him be. Despite that, heās quite optimistic and figures that a few years away from home would do him some good, along with satisfying his parents.
History: Steven and his family live in a relatively small town, with enough to get by. It wasnāt exactly amazing or anything, but there was some nature around so it made ideal space for the day care center. Stevenās father was a bird pokemon trainer (you know, one of those guys) while his mother was a pokemon breeder. They both had brief stints being trainers before settling down and raising a family of Steven and his little sister. While his sister was very curious and stuff, Steven really wasnāt. It was somewhat worrying for his parents how heād be content to sit in the sun and stare into the sky for a while.
When he grew up to be close to the age his parents started their trainer career, they started dropping subtle hints about it. They even sent him to trainer school for a little while, trusting him to his aunt living in the city where the trainer school is. Obviously, he eventually realised that they wanted him to have a trainer adventure, and while that wasnāt something he was exactly keen on, his friends decided that they also wanted to be trainers, so through a mixture of peer pressure and expectations, Steven started to beign his trainer journey, probably.
Wanted Starter: Spearow
Nickname: Timothy
Species: Spearow
Level: 7
Gender: Male
Ability: Keen eye
Moveset: Peck, leer, scary face.
Personality and history:Timothy was an egg from Stevenās fatherās pokemon, and has a pretty grouchy personality and shows his emotions quite easily. This can make it pretty difficult to get along with, but heās developed a very close relationship with Steven. Heās kind of got a big brotherish personality to the people he gets along with, though heās about on equal footing with Steven. Tim actually likes children and stuff younger than him, so heās got a soft side.
Tim grew up with Steven in both of their early years, and they didnāt really get along very well. They argued a bit, and their parents often compared them too bickering brothers. Things did change eventually, though. Tim always had a habit of getting into things too big for him to deal with and Steven was constantly bailing him out. Eventually, Tim learned to trust and rely on Steven and Steven just figured that Tim wasnāt bothering him that much anymore so it was fine.
There was really no question on which pokemon Steven would take of the many his family had. Heād been with Tim for most of his life and trusted him more than almost anyone. Tim trusts Steven more than any other human or pokemon, and he trusts Stevenās judgement enough to stick around. They do call each other out on the otherās shortcomings, however, and Steven treats Tim like a sibling, not a pet.
Nickname: Honey Queen
Species: Combee
Level: 5
Gender: Female
Ability: Honey gatherer
Moveset: Sweet scent, gust
Personality and History: Queen is quite young and happy, and also somewhat meek. She perceives more than she lets on, however, but is prone to panicking. Currently, Queen is friends with Steven, but hasn't learned to trust his judgement in battles yet.
Steven met Queen in route 2. She was captured in order to test the pokeball's mechanics and quickly hit it off with Tim. She gets along very well with the group, and in the short time they were around, she has become a dear friend to the two.

Personality - Geos grew up the son of an aspiring trainer, aiming to best the different Pokemon leagues across the world. The drive of his father lives on in Geos, his love for Pokemon and battling near unrivaled. His persistence to be the very best (like no one ever was) takes priority over anything else. Geos will go days without sleep to train his Pokemon, and will battle the same opponent multiple times until he beats them. His competitive nature is matched with a somewhat friendly attitude, offering advice to budding trainers and asking for it from more skilled trainers. Geos hopes to some day meet his father, to travel and battle with him.
History - Geos grew up in Seastone City with his mother. From the minute he could walk, Pokemon became his entire life. All day he would sit up in his room studying abilities, moves, type match-ups, and watch big name trainers battle each other. He would also watch the trainer battles on the beach in town and on the sandbars rising out of Route 10.
His inspiration to become a world-class trainer grew once he became old enough to realize and ask about the absence of his father. His mother told him stories about him, how he was traveling the world to train his Pokemon and beat the various Pokemon Leagues strewn across the world. Geos was more excited than upset about leaving to pursue his dreams. It must have been tough for him, Geos would think, as his father's dream had become his career. The money he earned defeating leagues were supporting his mother and son. Geos wanted nothing more than to be at his father's side. At 15, he was given a chance. His father had sent Geos his very own Trainer Card, a high quality bag filled with helpful items, and his very own Pokemon, a Staryu. A letter was also sent that read simply, "If you are interested, come and find me. Head to Estoria City and begin your journey." With the approval of his mother, Geos excitedly made his way to Estoria City by bus, eager and ready to begin a life as a Pokemon Trainer.

Personality: Blair is a pleasant enough boy, if not a little conniving. As in, he'll take any advantage he can get, he knows his own weakness, and therefore believes he has no right to show mercy because of that weakness... In battle at least. Otherwise he's a pretty nice guy who enjoys the scenery, good tea and cool Pokemon.
History: Blair is the son of a CEO of the Aschenford corporation, one of the few that create items to be sold at marts. Specifically, his family produces potions and other healing items. It doesn't really grant him anything special for his journey, they know to separate business and personal endeavours. At a young age he met his Eevee while he was living in Grand City. It wasn't a friendly encounter at first, but after a few more encounters, Blair ended up rescuing the Eevee from other Pokemon within the city. It appears that the Eevee gained quite a following of enemies, ruling over many of the other Pokemon as a benevolent and strong ruler, thus her name Empress. She wasn't in a Pokeball until Blair turned 12, but even then she was rarely kept in her Pokeball.
At the age of 15 he was told by his parents that he should pursue to journey around the region himself, and he agreed, but wasn't sure when the time was right, but now was a better time than any. So there he was, off on his journey, with his Eevee at his side.

Personality: Sophia tends to shy away from people she doesn't know. She never goes out of her way to make friends. She is most likely to be found at the edges of a room during a party. She doesn't get stage fright when in front of people, but she will quickly try to find something anything to distract people so she can get out of the center of attention. She takes some delight getting by without people ever knowing she was there. She is topically slow to anger and quick to forgive an insult. She will hold conversations with strangers but they have to be the ones to start the conversation.
Despite the loner attitude and antisocial tendency, Sophia actually dislikes being alone for long periods. Once befriended, she will move mountains in order to preserve the friendship. She Likes to keep in contact with her friends and might talk their ear off if she is excited. She really opens up once she finds a friend. She chooses her friends mainly for the quality of intelligence. They need to share her ability to entertain an idea without fully accepting it.
History: Sophia has never had an easy life. Originally hailing from Niquora City, her life hit the first hiccup when her mother became ill. After fighting the illness and the best of medical care, her mother succumbed. Her body was buried in the Solstice Graveyard like was tradition for most in the region. Her father, who was a doctor, was destroyed by the loss of his wife. He quit his job in the hospital in Niquora City and moved to Solstice town to be near his dead wife. In Solstice town, he opened up his own small clinic where he could still use his skills to help people.
Sophia's life was stable for a time before fate decided to be cruel once more. Her father had poured his time and focus in trying to save every life. He would work tirelessly to make sure the sick and hurt never perished. Despite the truth that medicine could not save everyone, he took every death personally. His worrying wore him down until he too got ill and passed from weakness. Sophia, now orphaned, was immediately taken in by a neighboring family. They had always cared for her. Their son was like a brother to her.
Sophia withdrew into herself once her father died. Still being young she felt helpless. She could not understand why she had lost both her parents. One day, she walked alone through the Graveyard to her parent's grave. She knew the way well from the walks she took with her father to her mother's grave. Floating casually above her parent's graves was a Litwick. The pokemon didn't seem to notice her. The pokemon floating there angered her. She wanted it to leave her parents alone. Now, her father had left, among other things, a great ball behind when he died. Sophia had found it just a few hours earlier and had decided to being it to his grave. Without thinking and in anger, she grabbed the great ball and threw it at the Litwick. The pokeball bounced off Litwick and then pulled Litwick inside. She did not expect that. She just wanted the pokemon to go away. Somehow, in the silence of the graveyard, Sophia felt what she could only call fate. She was not a trainer before, but now before the graves of her parents she was forever, irrevocably changed.

Personality: Alex is a kind person. Always the one to make friends, he has quite a lot of them. He loves Pokemon, and respects all of them. He is completely against this regions' end goal, which will make most of the Pokemon die, because of the pollution, and no natural places to live. Not only is he respectful of Pokemon, but their trainers as well. As he is the Professor's son, to some he comes off as a bit of a Know-It-All, but for those who truly get to know him, they will understand that he is just very interested in them all.
History: He was born to the Proffesor, and her husband, Ryan. While they were famous, they did not take advantage of it, and they still lived a modest life. Normal schools, a normal house, normal car. As a young boy he loved his life, and made many friends, of course him being famous and all. Although, there life became more normal, for famous people that is. News crews, interviews, everything wanted to see them, talk to them, meet them. So to keep this away from her son, and husband, she bought a separate house, in the Anorsea Forest. With the rumors of the Anorsea being demolished, they came back to live with her again in Estoria when the fame died down.
The professor had many Pokemon, and one caught Alex's eye. A shiny Starly, named Slash, because of its extra long claws that it had. He asked his mom, if he could have this as his starter, because he wanted to go on a journey. His mother and father agreed, and he had the Starly ever since.
Personality: A determined trainer with an adaptable attitude always ready for something new he is impatient and cocky though often making snide remarks to other trainers often mocking them but he is genuinely kind and very passionate of his goals.
He loves Pokemon and wants to become a great trainer although his past does haunt him he lets none of those feelings show to any of his friends because he thinks that as a sign of weakness.
History: At the age of thirteen he ran away from home because his parents were never kind to him and he was treated badly so he grew for the next three years by taking care of himself and looking out for himself growing reclusive and more aggressive to strangers.
He had not long ago been given his first Pokemon Totodile who Blue called Chomper because of his teething habits because the Totodile was particularly young but even though the Totodile aged a bit it still teethed on things as a habit

Name: Elvenheisen (usually just called Elf) Wren (side note: Alfheimr is such a wondrous place.)
Age 16
Personality:
Elf is by no means a loud kid, but he isn't one to stay silent either, he just doesn't interject others opinions until after their spoken, only then would he precede to acknowledge if it was a good opinion, or proceed to rip the ever living hell out of their opinion for being wrong, this only became more polarized after recent events. He used to be trusting of people to the point he would put his life in the hands of a random stranger, not anymore. Now he is untrusting of stranger's and always expects the worst of them and yet, he has a few redeeming quality's. Firstly if you manage to earn his hard earned trust, then he will lighten up around you, secondly he is not afraid to wager his life for a good cause, if it effects a group of people. Plus he would rather give his Life then have something close to him die. (some say this is a flaw...)
History: Twelve, that was the age that Elf began his journey, with his murkrow much to the annoyance of his parents, he was innocent then, 4 whole years of adventure, he enjoyed every moment of it, his team grew, he entered tournaments, he couldn't be asked to challenge gyms, not until he believed he was ready to fight the champion and the elite trainers of the region, he matured into a nice young man, strong willed and ready to fight with his Pokemon by his side. His Honchkrow even became a father with his Talonflame, nothing could ever bring him down, both he and his Pokemon was on top of the world.
On a fateful day, Roc, the Fletchling hatched much to the joy of Elf and his entire entourage of Pokemon, and yet it was the same day the accident happened, The entire decimation of his team. It was after a particularly difficult battle that it happened, he was jumped by Team Nexus and one of their god forsaken admin's. The battle wasn't a tournament one, it wasn't one where the Pokemon fainted and that was it, no. Pokemon actually died that day, his entire team fell, Roc managed to survive by hiding in his backpack but they both saw the death before them. It was a hellish experience and both of them came out of it changed, Elf then ran, he ran for his life as fast as he could away from Team Nexus, the only thought on his mind was keeping Roc safe at all cost's, he managed to escape from Team Nexus, perhaps they didn't see any use pursuing a boy with no Pokemon. These events transpired a month ago... but now he has new goal, he will not let the memories of his team go to waste, he will continue fighting, for their sake if not his own, And he will not lose, not again.

TM-27 - Return (a Prize for winning a Tournament a while ago)
Personality: Alexis is a blunt teen who states what's on their mind, stalwart with their own beliefs. Along with that, they can be rather snarky if something doesn't at all makes sense which is rather contradictory since they performed in contests. If something does seem out of place to them, they won't be afraid to be snarky about the impending situation, all while pointing out flaws in peoples reasoning relentlessly. No matter how precarious the situation may be, the teen will try to state it softly while getting their point across. They also act very flirty around most people, mainly girls since the teen loves trying to make them flustered around them. This may come off as a mere agenda, Alexis does it all in good fun to flare people up some times to lift the spirits of those down in the dumps.
The teen is also very, very competitive child, trying their hardest to win at almost anything as Alexis can't imagine a themselves properly losing. They may just accuse their opponent of catching a lucky break, or some outrageous allegation. They don't take losing lightly. Even with the nastier side to the teen, they are one to cheer for others attempting to pursue what they want, even if it conflicts with their own. All in all, as long as a person treats Alexis as their equal, along with not being too ridiculous, they will earn and keep the teens respect. Along with being respectful, they are also very mischievous and rowdy, sometimes wanting to fight side by side with their partner pokemon. Along with being rowdy, Alexis can handle a punch as well as taking one so getting on their bad side is not recommended as Alexis can and will get violent if the teen deems it necessary, and will give hints to this escalating tone through threats.
History:
"What happened with my mom isn't really important Aunt Arie... just let time do it's thing and all will be healed... I'm sure of it."
Alexis was only a young boy when he was introduced into the show business, or rather pokemon contests. The bright lights, the sounds were always blaring in their ears as they watched from afar with their father on his days off as Alexis' mother dazzled the audience on stage. Eventually she decided to retire from the lively scene full of spectators, much to Alexis' confusion since they didn't exactly understand why at the time. All Alexis knew was their neighbor who always baby sat them when their mother was at a contest. Alexis had a rather deep bond with the young girl who was a few years older than the kid, making them almost inseparable siblings. Alexis enjoyed their company, and Terry, the next door neighbor, respected Alexis and often at times teased the kid. With the retirement of the kids mother, Alexis pondered on if they would see both Terry and their own mother at the same time, and almost became flustered at the fact, finding it to be abstract from the original idea painted at first. At any rate, with Alexis' mother announcing her leaving, she invited the young Alexis onto the stage, and giving a firm reminder to who the heir of her throne would be later in her life - Alexis. As the cheering amplified, the kid became mystified by the thought of a bellowing crowd of affectionate fans. One day, Alexis felt that obligation to stride up confidently and make it a sight no one could ever perish from their memory.
Mesmerized by the limelight, Alexis was eager to start the whole spiel, but the kid knew that one integral part of this whole straightforward plan was missing - a pokemon. Fortunate enough to have a mother who was excited to pass on the legacy presented a little Buneary to the soon-to-be contest star, delightfully surprising Alexis. Alexis tried to play with the pokemon, to which the kid named him Sasha, but the kid missed two things - not knowing how to care for a pokemon due to childlike innocence and mistaking their pokemon as a female. This created a rather solid rift which was difficult to conquer. Despite the mothers eagerness for attempting to get their child into the contest scene, she decided that the best course of action was to let Alexis acquire new-found information on how to truly care on their pokemon by themselves.
It was a rather arduous task, considering that they were both not clicking. Frustrated by results, Alexis attempted to violently pressure the little pokemon into liking them, however the one flaw in this plan was this - Sasha didn't enjoy being pushed around. So the rabbit pokemon swiftly fled from their abusive trainer who did not understand the integral parts in caring for a pokemon. Alexis did not react well to Sasha defecting from the ideas and dreams conjured up, so the kid pursued the Buneary, not daring to leave it alone. Through this trivial endeavor, Alexis was left stranded from home, without a friend to accompany the kid, or a mother and father to take them back home. Hesitant and afraid, Alexis traversed onward, unwavering in their decision... before wailing at the sheer loneliness and how this was all scary. The kid was lucky enough to come across a few pokemon who looked rather unsure of caring for Alexis, but decided to assist in the child's efforts. They helped nurse Alexis through the night, helping the child come to a newly detected revelation.
The kid eventually returned home, all thanks to the Linoones who assisted the child through the night. Alexis safely returned to the recesses of their family as they waved to the Linoones before embracing their mother. The tears between the two could not be contained as they were streaming down their faces much quicker than a person eating a slowpokes tail. Much to the child's surprise, Sasha was looking in dismay at Alexis. The buneary was seemingly depressed at the fact that they managed to survive the night, which possibly meant more torture on their part. Much to the pokemons shock, Alexis hugged him next, apologizing profusely for what was done to the poor Buneary. Though Sasha wasn't too quick to forgive, over time he came to respect their partner and eventually gave them a chance. This lead to an event in which they began sternly preparing themselves for the future which further strengthened the duos relationship, making them both almost inseparable partners. Their rebirth would begin now as a challenge of ideas would give birth to a whole new thought between the team.
And then came the eighth birthday, then ninth, then tenth.
The years passed by in a flash with the additional friends made in their life, along with the deepened bonds created with Sasha. However, one thing they couldn't shrug off over the years that flew by was a complete hollowness embedded within them. It's as if they forgot something really important to them in their life. Troubled by this, Alexis often spent their time pondering over what was missed, and their Buneary became bemused over why their training was slowing down and undertook a valiant effort to quell their partners troubles... mainly by being blunt and asking them upfront, despite the language barrier. Though it did take some time to catch Sasha's drift, Alexis finally spoke to Sasha about their problem of trying to recall someone precious to them that they were neglecting over the years. It was as if it was tearing the child apart, well, that's at least how Alexis told it to Sasha. Neither could ever reach the truth, even after arduous thoughts that they both long pondered over. Either way, they began their familiar routine as their first contest was going to begin.
...
Even after the multiple contests Alexis and Sasha went through, they both felt a semblance of isolation and loneliness on the stage. Even though they both one a couple of contests and making the stage their turf, it never felt right to them. Alexis and Sasha couldn't figure out if it was the thoughts going through their head, or if they yearned for something more... There was also a strange letter which was written by a fan which wracked the rising contest stars brain. Alexis found the messages were enigmatic, and often took most of their time to analyze until fully understanding it. The notes after each empty contest began to fill Alexis with not only guilt, along with Alexis' and Sasha's degrading dream of going onto the stage again. The final straw that broke the Camerupts back came from the child's supposedly last contest at the age of fifteen.
After the streaks of new ideas and strategies, Alexis and Sasha finally had enough. They forfeited their recent contest after seeing a note that was delivered to them early. Sasha was confused by the rush Alexis was in as the teen bolted from the contest hall. Even though he was confused, Sasha tagged along with Alexis since he had no intention of getting near that god forsaken place. Eventually, they arrived at the docks, trying to find where she was or if she was in the resounding proximity where people were waiting for the second ship to come. As Alexis shoved through the crowds with brute force, the teen eventually reached the person in charge of letting them know when the next ship would arrive. Hectically, Alexis quizzed the man on the specific ship that was mentioned in the mysterious letter, asking when it would arrive. With utmost haste, the man responded to Alexis.
Nothing could stop the tears as the teen ran home, realizing that they would probably never meet again. Alexis' shenanigans with contests were driving a solid wedge between the friends left, as it was tedious work since Sasha and Alexis hated it. Eventually, the teen told their mom about how they were resigning from the contest scene as it wasn't as it seemed to either performer. The mother and child often had debates over whether Alexis should stay a contest-goer or not. Often, these ended in stalemates, with Alexis' mother despairing over the fact that her heir was defecting from the path she set out for the child. She wanted this to be a career for Alexis, but the teen did not want this path and wanted to perform a complete u-turn. Eventually, tired of the stalemates and fights he came home to, Alexis' father came up with the idea to send his child to the Fordis region so they could straighten their life out so they can get back on the path of performing in contests. The father lied to help his growing child out, as he wanted them to find their own path without being limited to all of the fights. He spoke to his sister, Aunt Arie, who was ecstatic to take the young teen in for a few years.
With this concurrent knowledge, Alexis and Sasha decided to camp out and experience Lilycove and the route by it one last time with friends before leaving for Fordis a few days later. Alexis spent half a year caring for plants and flowers in a mechanical city that kept moving. It was surprising to Alexis to find such a place in a city like Estoria, along with Aries own garden. Eventually, Alexis and Sasha came to one final conclusion which Arie was reluctant on at first, but understood the teens plea.
"What I needed to remember the most ended up being the memories not retained. I've lost bonds with close friends by coming here, you know that Aunt Arie."
"..."
"It's just like a contest stage to me, mere loneliness circulated around that place. I've lost myself and I've became isolated."
"I need to take this journey, to figure myself out, and to fill this gap within me so please don't stop me..."
"... Thank you Auntie Arie. I'm going to depart tomorrow since that's when most people will be coming to the lab. May need some tips from the professor and others, hehe."
"At any rate, you ready for this Sasha? Time to test our mettle and discover what we really are at the core!"

Seen in the public as a Mary Sue who canāt do anything wrong, Vanessa is the exact opposite when caught alone; often seen sneering at people of less social status than her. Unknowing to the public, she got to where she is with a sharp tongue and sharper form of manipulating those around her. Often the judges suck up to her and act as almost as her faithful minions, even when she doesnāt perform well; because she pays them off.
Personality: An aspiring Pokemon Researcher, specializing in the psychic link between humans and their pokemon. As a student of Professor Sycamore, he has been performing experiments designed to gauge these traits. One of his current experiments is to try to bond with an egg that Sycamore gave him. As such, he is not one to battle unless forced. He prefers to try to talk situations out. Upon encountering a new pokemon, his first reaction will usually be to attempt to communicate telepathically. And although he doesn't personally own one, he finds Motorbikes to be super-cool.
History: Richard was born to a family of Psychics and Spirit Mediums in Saffron City, he is no different. His Father was a Psychic who left to search for Legendary Pokemon, specifically, Lugia. Richard was raised by his mother and Grandmother, both spirit mediums. It was tradition in their family that Males would become Psychics and females would become Spirit Mediums. Richard, however, was trained by his grandmother as a Spirit Medium. He was very close to his Grandmother, and when his fathers messages stopped, she convinced him to go and search for him. The problem was that he only had the clothes on his back, the Abra that his mother had given him for his 10th Birthday, and the Ghastly that his Grandma had given him for his 16th birthday... Meaning that he lacked money. He didn't have the funds to travel across the world... However, his last communication said that he had tracked Lugia to the Fordis region. In order to try and get to Fordis, he attempted to join the Pokemon Rangers.
He went to their recruiting office in Celadon to enquire about joining, which is where he ran into Professor Juniper, a genius in the field of Pokemon research that had been in the area at a seminar on Psychic pokemon. After talking with her for a short while, he accidentally let slip that he was a psychic. She was rather curious, and asked if he would help her with her research into the Psychic relationship that people and Pokemon share. Her first experiment was with a Joltik that he raised, however, upon hearing that his ability to telepathically converse with Pokemon didn't work with Dark-Types, she gave him an egg, telling him to raise it. After a short while, he convinced her to send him to Fordis in order to conduct his research there.
