[OOC] Aincrad: Remastered Edition (MMORPG Roleplay, inspired by SAO and Log Horizon)

@NightmareIndI don't quite remember how magic worked in Alfheim, it's been quite a while since I seen it, though I know or at least think I know how it works. Also what kind of spells fall under arcane anyway?

Odd spells, illusions. Berserk, decoy, confuse, death, and Health/Mp stealing all fall under Arcane. At least, that's what I think of Arcane as.

I don't really get what you mean, but I just made a spell list if thats what you are talking about. Just look at it at the first OOC post. Remember that for any ideas you guys want to add to the 'game', including new spells or weapons, just PM me and I look what I can do :D

Just an idea, but how about everyone gets one unique drop, (weapon, accessory, armor or even material.) Sometime soon? Not uber powerful, but a decent item.

@Crimson Raven Well, Floor 2 introduces ranged weapons, and Floor 3 new combat possibilities with the skills that are going to be unlocked. I don't have anything in mind for floor 4, but I was thinking about adding hybrid weapons: rare drops that consist of mixes of weapons, like a crossbow and a scythe (which I mentioned earlier). A bit unrealistic but still awesome. I mean, it's a game, realism isn't number 1 priority. So anyone can come up with a hybrid weapon of their choice and have that as their unique weapon. Just PM them to me and I look if it is good enough.

@NightmareInd The Floor 4 hybrids can be something simple like a double ended halberd or an axe that's balanced enough to be used as a throwing weapon. It'd make sense that the cooler stuff like crossbow-scythes and splitting swords would come later on.

On another note, I'll be putting up a post soon. The starts of Alice's blacksmith corporation will commence! Also, since I'm a lazy bastard who can't seem to come up with a better name, Alice will remain Dead_Ringer altho alias and nicknames will most likely be used.

I get the feeling that we should make a giant skype group for everyone here so we can just ask if someone wants to interact. BEcause skype is a little more instant in answers compared to a forum!

Also, Raeki is also pretty reckless in combat, I'm sure they'll get along just fine

Well, another several fields filled with different monsters that lead to another town if we are going by SAO map. If not, then just wilderness.

Edit: @NightmareInd I had an idea. You as Gm, can spring random encounters on anyone and could dictate if they run into a 'rare' or more powerful monster.
