@Austronaut from you're sheet you clarify sniper, other ones a marksman. Slightly different training so in that situation she'd be the spotter you the sniper.

@Beach Burrito Stormies aren't police and soldiers, they'll act as police in situations like Tattooine where the Empire has increased interest in the area. You gotta remember a lot of planets have local law enforcement and there are still generic Imperial Troopers below Stormies.

All of this being said, I'd personally prefer the idea of having marksmen in the squad as opposed to snipers. Snipers implies that they are far away from the main squad and kind of doing their own thing. I'd like to keep everyone together, typically for plot purposes.

Also, I'll be back tonight. My own character will be up, as well as final character reviews and ooc etc.

We're stormies, the elite grunts. There are more elite troopers but out of the riff-raff we're some of the least riff with minimum raff.

Fighting Pirates, dissidents and keeping the people of the Empire safe.

Yes, that's how it's going to start for us anyway, we're pretty average Joe's. That's why the RP is called "the beat", like "walking the beat" for guards or officers.

It's going to quickly escalate into something bigger, but for the first portion of the rp, we'll be pretty regular Joe's.

I agree, I think having a dedicated sniper doesn't quite fit with the theme the way a scout and a marksman does. I'm going to alter my career path to be more of a technical specialist. Communications and Demolitions.

Plot:

We the players will play the role of stormtroopers from the 121st Assault Battalion, a group of stormtroopers patrolling the Outer Rim. What appears to be a routine deployment quickly takes a turn for the worse as our characters take for granted what appears to be only a small pocket of resistance. Our characters will face daunting challenges, testing their wit and willpower, as well as their morals as they are pushed to their absolute limits in this RP that shows us the perspective of the "bad guys".
