Sticking out of a side of the mountain, a tall four story prewar building stood. Time had not been kind to this lonely building. The building was far enough away from any major prewar city that it was not hit by any of the bombs. This building had been abandoned just about time the bombs as the inhabitants headed for bomb shelters or the hills. This day under the hot sun of the wastelands, this lonely building stood alone and silent.
Rose Anew came up to this building. She looked around to see if any creature was around to observe her. Feeling she was not being observed, She took a knee and pulled out her map to make sure she was in the right place. Once confident she had made it to the right place, she put her map away and pulls out her 10 mm pistol. She crossed the parking lot in front of the building and goes to the front door. Checking once more to see that she was not being followed, she entered the building.
Rose went systematically from room to room. She was met with the old furnishings of a prewar office building and the occasional radroach. She was usually able to take a lethal shot on the bugs before the bug realized she was there. She made sure to pick up all the brass she expended killing those small monsters. Slowly, Rose made her way up floor to floor. There was not much of interest until she got to the fourth floor. Almost as soon as she got to the fourth floor, a Mr. handy bot floated towards her. It questioned her about her identity. Rose tried to answer but the robot got angry. Well, as angry as an emotionless robot can be, It told her to leave or be shot for trespassing. Rose might have tried to take it on if she did not hear the sound of second robot around the corner.
Rose retreated back down the stairs. The robot continues to pace back and forth as it protected its ancient post. Rose found a computer on a office desk that still worked. She pulled her rifle off my back and leaned it against the desk as she sat on an old chair. She set her rifle down on the desk before her. She began trying to hack into the computer system. The wall was behind her, there was no way to sneak up on her. Before her was three different ways to enter the room she was in. She kept an eye on all three. If needed she could use any one of them to escape.
