Alright, so I really do like everyone here so far. I want to make that disclaimer before getting into more ... fragile topics. I understand that this may not be my place to speak, but I have this urge to mediate. A character flaw, I'm certain. Let me get this show on the road.

@6slyboy6 Ahhhhh, the fresh sent of hate in the morning. I must ask, what exactly does your character hate about Ella besides her ego? As she said, the poor and ugly hate the rich and fabulous.

(I'm assuming by "I" you mean your character? And is his name Shak Teel or Thrall...? Sorry, I keep seeing you use Thrall but in the character tab it's Shak Teel. However, this reply gives some insight to the fact that, that is just how your character is. Cool.)

@6slyboy6 Hmmmmm, I'll take that into consideration when choosing who to "bribe". Yes, hatred is excellent excitement. Just remember, a few well placed bribes and any one of us could end up face-down in a ditch on the border of Yenin and Halsen.

(Is this the threat you're saying Ryuzaki made? I actually kind of took it as "hmm, that would be interesting to see played out" in regards to it happening my character. I'm fucking weird though. I kind of strive for all my characters to die. I love that shit. *shrug* I guess I can see how it might have been taken wrongly if you want to keep your character alive and the "game" fair. But there are some disclaimers that @Flynn made which tell you to expect your character to die in the first OOC post. )

@Ryuzaki Bribes you say? Money is an object? And an item that not only you have. But watch out. Pay too much and you'll end up in the court for being a traitor. You take that into consideration. Your common tricks won't work here. This is where big fish live.

(More good points made in so far as the political domain of bribing and being outed, but you seem to have personally attacked Ryu here, even if in a small way. Maybe I'm mistaken? That's how it comes off to me, however. Perhaps it's just context. I can't really tell. Please correct me if I'm wrong.)

@6slyboy6 As a female is a world of sex-hungry men, Ella has more than money to bribe with (Fade to black, of course), although this kind of bribe to the wrong person would be decisive of her life. Now that is an object only 2 PCs have. Correct, common tricks will not work, but Ella is no commoner.

(DISCLAIMER: I do not support the objectifying of women in any sort, that is simply how my character is)

(I think powerful men have more "fetishes" than people give them credit for. I could see all of the male characters having some sort of shot at a sexual bribe, to the right individual. Mayhap not to the king, but perhaps the uncle? You never know, don't disqualify anything. Moving on.)

@Ryuzaki Your character is so terryfic. Not in the good way. And you didn't objectify women. You showed all men as sex crazed. Worse in my opinion. Also I see no way to manipulate the king with your character. Anyways we'll see how it works out IC. Best of luck.

(I already posted a comment in regards to this earlier, but I do have something else to say. Both are wrong, but they both happen equally. There is no worse or better, only that they're both things that happen. This topic is such a huge issue in real life that I can only say to realize that this is a roleplay and being offended by ideologies/generalizations/etc. being portrayed in the roleplay isn't the healthiest of choices.)

I can manipulate OTHER characters to think my way and take my side. Who ever said she wants to control only the king?

(Point made and stated. Lots of in character development can happen, and it's all on the players to discuss and decide between themselves personally. It's a cooperative effort. Somebody might go along with your manipulation, or they might be manipulating you for their own ends. It's amazing to see stuff like this fold out. Hype, yo.)

(If Ryu or ANYONE metagames, WE will have a discussion on how to solve the issue. There is no making people pay for things. I understand I sound GM-ish in this issue, but it isn't just your interests being violated if somebody metagames. We've all contributed time and effort into this roleplay. This is a threat only veiled by laughter, which is something I will be commenting on again in the future of this post.)

@Aphelion Well someone did research. Nothing less expected from the High Scholar. I see that people are sometimes ignorant, and can really skip over details, but you really made your point there. Withh all due respect I am sorry for all what was "rude" but I only said the truth. As I see it. I try to look at things like an outsider, but I can tell you this: When one makes a character, at least one major detail will be true for the person who made it. It might not be the riches or the beauty (Sorry dude XD never saw you), but the ego or arrogance is what I saw. I get that out Chars can die. Sure. We all expected that. Althought I like a fun game of politics more than dropping dead in the sewer. And yes, threatening may be a bit rough, but for a hint it can be taken. Then I amde a fair point. For all that matters, metagaming is using everything OOC for IC. If Ella somehow knew that the Ambassador hated him, even tho they never met. (And they never did) Of course, I know it is a group decision, but I beleive I haven't posted anything about ME alone. I will not continue any further, because from now on it was all the attitude. I had a bad week, and i have no idea what Ryuzaki is experiencing now, so I sincerely apologise again. And yes it is clear that I am easely offended, but i am not blind, and I always state my thoughts. I however have no feels regarding any discussion made on the internet. I am not angry, nor do I hate someone. Thoughts, facial expressions, and especially sarcasm translate very badly on the internet. Right... I am now on my phone in the train on my way back home. Let me first thank @Aphelion for (trying) defusing the situation. I... Would not have thought that this would escalate any further but it seems I was wrong. So, couple of rules:

1. When you talk about your character you adress him with his or her name. Not I. I means you yourself the person. This will clear up a lot of confusion AND it will make you detatched from your character. There is a difference in playing your character and being your character.

2. Slyboy aswell as Ryuzaki, I want you both to think about what you typed before even hovering over the Post Reply button with your mouse. This goes for everybody of course. Check your post and read it out loud to yourself. Would you be fine by being talkd to like that? No? Change it.

3. I will say it again. Keep IC and OOC drama seperated. IC drama is fun. It leads to lovely scenes and test our writing abilities. OOC drama is not as it only frustates not only the active parties, but also those who have to watch it.

4. If you ever have the need to vent about something, I don't care about what: this RP, your boyfriend or even your freakin dinner... PM me. We'll talk. I don't want to see pent up anger/frustration in IC aswell as OOC posts.

Yeah... That was it all. I'll try to bring order to my RP schedule tomorrow.
