Kokoro Division

Premise

As a part of a secret government, initiative families volunteer their young and gifted children to become a part of the Kokoro Division. A special group of agents, the Kokoro Division are tasked with the responsibility of protecting the public from special individuals. Highly trained during their high school years, they become skilled operatives who infiltrate society, hunt, and restore peace from perpetrators called Branchers. Branchers are people who use a larger percentage of the human brain giving them special abilities usually used to harm others and commit crimes. Agents are Branchers trained to control these abilities and use them for good. From being able to lift cars to summoning familiars, players will develop their own unique powers in an effort to understanding the secrets of the Kokoro Division and exactly which side they should be fighting for.

About Me: Prior to being enlisted to join the Kokoro Division, John was a delinquent, small-time thief and somewhat of an arsonist. His abilities were noted by one of the KD's operatives and an order for his capture was immediately made. He was given the choice of incarceration for an undetermined duration or "community service". Both were forms of imprisonment for John, but he opted to go for the one that gave him more freedom.

Ability: Smolder

John is able to generate and eject large amounts of heated crimson fumes from his palms. Aside from its unique color, John is able to change its density and freely manipulate the fumes he produces. This ability provides him relative tolerance to heat and makes him unaffected to most types of fumes.

Skills:

• Brawling - Years living in the streets and hanging out with the wrong crowd has made John into an efficient fighter. When I say efficient, I'm not talking about technique though, he's basically a brawler, but doesn't make him less of an opponent.
• Enhanced Vision - Ever since his youth, John always had a keen sense of hearing. Let's just say that over the years, its gotten even better.
• Enhanced Pain Tolerance - Giving out and taking beatings all his life has given John not only a sturdy frame, but the will to back it up as well. Flinching isn't really something he does.

Name: Nisha Keller

Age: 17

About Me: Nisha's parents first became aware of their daughter's ocular powers when she was very young and their attempts to learn more about her strange abilities, internet searches, inquiries to doctors and scientists, etc, brought them to the attention of the Government organisation behind the Kokoro Division. Learning that Nisha was not a lone mutant but rather an important step in evolution and a valuable asset for the human race put their troubled minds at ease and, with promises that she would be well cared for, they entrusted Nisha to the Kokoro Division. Nisha's time growing up in the division was spent in training not just her ability but her body and mind and, after becoming somewhat enraptured by old japanese samurai flicks, she began training with the katana as her weapon of choice.

Ability: Godeyes

Nisha possesses a form of superhuman visual acuity. When focused she can see vast distances, in different spectrums of light, air currents, heat trails. She can see the miniscule and telltale signs a person unconsciously gives off when they lie and she can even track and anticipate the passage of a speeding bullet.

Skills:

• Nisha's enhanced vision has conditioned her mind to keep up, giving her preternatural reflexes.
• Years of training has allowed Nisha to develop physical abilities capable of matching her reflexes. She is capable of near superhuman bursts of speed when necessary.
• Due to a less-than-mild infatuation with samurai movies, Nisha has spent a good number of years training to use a katana. Lacking any formal training, she hasn't learnt to use kendo but rather a self-taught, individual sword style of her own.

Glad to finally see a CS. The overall character is fine, but I just have some issues with her abilities. Her enhanced vision is a simple ability, no real problem there, but what's kinda weird is how strong she already is. The only things that I have issues with would be these: She can see the flow of blood throw a person's veins and the microscopic contortions of muscle beneath the skin before a person moves.. I suggest maybe removing that part out.

As for her skills, I think you should replace the third one. Observation would come from you analyzing my posts and reacting accordingly given your characters personality. It would be weird if let's say that in a scenario, only your character wasn't able to notice the hints I was giving away just because you, the player, didn't notice. Go for something like some sort of mastery with a specific weapon like her katana. That way, if ever you're faced with a weapon user, you'd stand a fair chance against him.

Lastly, its just a little habit of mine. You don't really need to do it if you don't want to, but I preferred if you spelled it out as God Eyes.

Otherwise, the character is good to go. Just use a [Hider} to keep it all tidy. Thanks man.

Ability: Blink
Ezzy is capable of making short range teleports in any direction. though he cannot teleport through walls, there must be open space between him and his destination.

About Me: Was picked up by KD officials as she was testing her strange new power when one of the agents mistook her for their superior during their lunch break. Amazed at the completeness of the transformation, they "offered" her a new job working for them. She spent recent years learning about the basics of espionage and psychoanalysis.

Ability: Copycat: Can copy all aspects, including voice, characteristics, abilities, strengths, weaknesses, and metal aptitude, of target individual for 107.4 minutes. Cant change back willingly, or choose to change into another target while transformed. Main aspects that do not change are memory, personality, and gender.

Skills:

* Can easily read between the lines and emotions of people around her.
* Can easily adapt to all situations, and has enough mental fortitude to brush off any limiting or harmful experiences.
* Excellent small arms and rifle training, allowing proficient use of a variety of guns.

About Me: Ben Truefeld had been born into a family of desperate people, filled with desperate ideologies, using any form of desperation they needed to push themselves past others. At the age of eight his abilities began to manifest, and by his ninth birthday he'd formed a following rivaling that of local gangs. However, before he was able to reach the age of ten his parents sold him off to the Kokoro Division simply to make a quick buck. Deciding that the Kokoro Division would be a new life away from his filthy parents, he decided to renounce his given name, taking the name of Tenzen and abandoning Ben Truefeld.

Ability: Drifting Fumes: Tenzen has the ability to manipulate the fumes he expels from his mouth with complete control over the chemicals his lungs emit while exhaling. This comes with an immunity to poison, but lengthened use of this ability reduces the amount of oxygen in the vicinity.
Skills:

Chemical knowledge: Tenzen has advance knowledge in chemistry, knowing what chemicals counteract other chemicals.

Endurance: In fights it is exceedingly difficult to outlast Tenzen, and what he lacks in an overall expertise he makes up for in his ability to drag on fights.

Manipulative speech: Tenzen has great experience manipulating others, and partnering this with his ability allows him -if given enough time- to bend anybody's mind to his will.

Other: Edited out clear mind, replacing it with endurance as a skill because looking back on it, it's really more of a personality trait.

Gender: Male
Age: 17

About Me: Damian was born to parents who were particularly well off. Even from a young age, Damian had a way of getting what he wanted. Around his eighth birthday, he suddenly found he could get people to do what he wanted more easily. Because of the nature of his power, his abilities never really captured much attention. It wasn't until Damian tried to manipulate a KD operative that he was "recruited". Since then, Damian has slightly matured, and views himself like some sort of James Bond.

Ability: Mental Suggestion: Damian is able to, in layman's terms, put thoughts into other people's heads. At short range, he is able to directly put suggestions into an unsuspecting person. However, at long range, he has to use a sort of "mental dart" that isn't as strong, and can only transmit one thought. Also, suggestions that are a bit more extreme, such as "I want to kill myself", are easily identified as foreign thought, and ignored.
Skills:

Socially Adept: Damian has always been socially aware. In addition to being able to read people well, he is also charismatic in his own right.
Expert Marksman: While Damian considers combat to be beneath him, he has chosen to train in pistol use for his own safety, and has found he has great aim. This also works well for firing his mental darts.
Willful: Aware of how his power can effect people, Damian has taken great efforts to ensure he is never controlled mentally. Much of his training has consisted of coming to know himself, and he is able to hold onto his identity under stress and mental attack.
