"For this extra pet, you will be required to do an extra duty. When we go to The Village, you are to make sure that everyone is upstairs by the time the floor closes. You know what happened when someone is caught down there since the two of you were a bit tardy at leaving." Lady Violetta spoke firmly.

"Yes, I remember. Don't you Ayaka? Can we visit....." Mystique asked.

"Yes for a half hour or so. Let me think of how long and I'll let you know later." Lady Violetta spoke with a smile.

"But for now, I need to do the Village Lecture. I am skipping the bedroom floor since there is something that has come up and I need to take care of it right away. Thomas will be helping me. The two of you will be the ones who will keep a check on the others. Ask Elizabeth for help if you want to.
All Students to the Floating Spiral Staircase." Lady Violetta announced as she walked to the staircase.

"Before we go down to the Village, I will tell you the Rules of the Academy. Here are the ones that I have set up at this time.
1) Respect each other and yourself.
2) No dissing, put downs or negative thoughts or speech.
3) No fighting is allowed at all. You may be grounded and have your privileges revoked.
4) Try to include as many students as you can into your daily activities.
5) All students are required to be in class on and prepared to learn. That includes having your wand and PLTs as well as being able to demonstrate your homework or class work.
6) Pets are not always allowed in all classes. If they are not allowed, they are to be in your room.
7) Obey the curfew. No ifs, ands or buts about this. You may be grounded and have your privileges revoked.
8) Remember the golden rule:
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
9) Keep your rooms neat and tidy.
10) Keep yourself neat and tidy. Both of these rules pertain to professionalism.
11) Do your own work and do not try to cheat. The end of the semester you will go through a testing chamber by yourself.
12) If you act like a child, you will be put on a demerit/merit system until you can prove yourself to be professional magic user. You may be grounded and have your privileges revoked.
13) Ask questions and learn from other student’s mistakes. There are more than enough to go around!
14) Ask questions of the Upper Classmates. They will know what is going on most of the time because they have lived here for a while.
15) I will make more rules as I see the need.

“Now it is time to talk about The Village. The Village is a Self Check out. You will take a cart from the Cart Corral and place your laptop on the shelf provided. Then by WiFi, your laptop will connect to the scanner. As you choose items, you scan them and place them in your cart. If you decide not to get something, then push the return button and the scanner will take it off the total. Just remember that today is FREE DAY. It happens once a level. So take advantage of all that you care to take. But you must take care of what you want to have. On your laptop is a shopping list. It has what is required for each course. It has other items that you might like to have.
((If there is something you want and it is not listed, let me know so that I can add it to the List.))

I would for everyone to think of what you would like to do in six years. There are some things that that you must start now so that you can be able to leave in six years. I suggest that you take all Independent Classes because there is an Exit Exam at the end of your time here. In fact, between each Level will be an Exit Exam. Level Two did not get to go through it yet but they will this Level for it is nearly done. More details when I have them.

Now everyone will follow Ayaka and Mystique to the Village and so as they do. Mystique will assist with the Cart Corral while Ayaka will do Safety Duty. Have fun shopping on Free Day. Be sure to check in your PLTs ((second post is where the PLTs information will be posted.)) for what is available in each store.. When the Village Clock chimes, you have fifteen minutes left. At five minutes left, there will be a warning chimes and you had better leave before it stops chiming because the Creepers will be allowed out soon afterwards." Lady Violetta finished up her lecture.

Mystique headed down stairs and stood at the Cart Corral. Once everyone was down there she explained what to do.
"All cart have a place where you put your PLTs. It will connect to the scanner automatically. Your cart is the same as your room number. We will be having supper here tonight at The Café.
In your PLTs will be a list of what is in each store. Some items are required items and the rest would be optional. Do get more than what you think that you will need particularly in the snacks for your pet and or dragon. It is expensive the rest of the time. Be sure to get all of the Freebies because this is the only time to get food lockers and the new items. Which there is a new Virtual Series! Be sure to get them.
Your cart can hold everything because it is a Virtual Cart. When you are done shopping and ready to go upstairs, put your cart in its spot and it will magically appear in your room. The place where it is put is in the small elevator. You can then put away your items and put the cart back into the elevator."

Nathan wouldn't follow what they said, it annoyingly explained in a way he doesn't understand, he would just simply copy the other students, shaky, scared that if he will be caught out unknowing what he is doing.

"Yeah, I remember." Ayaka really hoped that they would get to visit them again. After listening to Lady Violetta explain the rules and about the Village, she followed Mystique to the Village and waited with her while everyone else caught up. During Mystique's explanation of the cart corral, Ayaka recieved a message from an alarmed sounding Skye.

-Rikami started acting odd while we were playing, but then just now suddenly left the room. I don't know what to do!- the dragon had sent to her.

Originally, Ayaka had planned on doing her part after her friend was done explaining the cart corral, but Rikami was up to something. "Mystique I'll be right back. I have to find out what a certain wolf of mine is up to." Hoping Elizabeth will help out while she was gone, Ayaka quickly went back to the spiral staircase and asked it to take her to the main floor.

She was back on the main floor just in time to see a glimpse of a frost wolf running down the hall. "Rikami, what are you doing?!" Ayaka called as she started chasing after him down the hall.

Rikami, of course, had darted outside not yet realizing that Ayaka was close behind him. All Rikami saw were two people when he got outside. He started playfully running around and barking. Ayaka heard all the barking, which sounded to be his 'I want to play!' bark. Who or what could he possibly be barking at out there? That question was soon answered though once she was finally outside herself.

One appeared to be awkwardly standing there and the other looked like she was wearing a black hoodie. Both seemed kind of odd to her, but it wasn't like she could judge that. Who else but her would wear cat eared shaped headbands after all? Then there was Rikami who looked very excited at the moment. Clearly calming him down was first on the to do list.

-Skye, I found him. You mind bringing his leash outside?- Ayaka had to ask her dragon a favor since she had the feeling she wouldn't have much a chance to run to her room to grab the leash herself.

She ran over to Rikami and grabbed his collar, but he was so excited that she had to have both hands holding onto his collar to calm him down. "What got into you anyway, Rikami. You had both Skye and me worried."

Knowing the frost wolf will explain it later, Ayaka turned her attention to the other two there. Did Lady Violetta and Thomas not realize they were here? She looked back at Rikami still with both hands on his collar, wondering if that was part of the reason he acted this way. "Hi, my name is Ayaka. Sorry about Rikami here. I'm guessing he just got overly excited."

Jacob Black paid the dog no mind when it came out, it was a small little insignificant being he recognized it as something called a Frost Wolf of some sort of canine group.

It's owner soon appeared eyeing him and the other girl who had crashed into him, he had just been about to do something drastic when the girl crashed into him but was distracted by the Frost Wolf.

The other girl possibly the owner of the dog appeared and dealt with her misbehaving animal, he saw her glimpse at him with a judgemental eye he smirked at her coyly, when she began to leash the animal.

When she spoke up he turned to her tilting his head slightly and removing his hood from his head revealing his dark hair and red eyes, and his obvious smirk.

"You have no need to be sorry of your pet he obviously sensed something off about me for-uh reasons that I rather not speak of!"

He stepped towards the girl who introduced herself as Ayaka, and he looked her from head to toe in an odd manner then looked at her face and smiled revealing some of his sharp teeth.

"Pleasure to be acquainted with you Ayaka I am Jacob but you can call me Jake!"

He said politely to Ayaka as she stood before him with her dog leashed as he spoke to her.

A small blue dragon and flew outside to Ayaka holding a leash soon after she asked Skye to bring it to her. Well more of baby dragon really, since she only hatched just last semester. She put the leash on her crazy frost wolf. Part of this was indeed because of how hyper and playful he was at that moment, but there had to be more to it than that. He's never acted like this after all. She stood up holding Rikami's leash just as Jacob was introducing himself. Skye had landed herself softly on the ground next to Rikami.

"Nice to meet you too Jake," she said smiling herself before noticing something off about his teeth. Perhaps Rikami did sense something and came outside to check it out, but saw two people here and wanted to play. People don't usually have sharp teeth and Ayaka had no idea what to think of them right now. Was he not human or something? When she came here, she didn't think magic existed and it does. It wouldn't surprise her in the least by now that other things she never thought were real actually are.

"I'm pretty sure one of the reasons he acted that way is because he wants to play. That's how he usually barks when he's ready to play, though I guess he might have been so hyper today that even playing with Skye didn't help. Of course, I doubt that's the only reason he acted up. I'll ask him later if he sensed anything." She briefly looked over at the hyperactive canine.

"For now we should probably go inside and continue the conversation there." Ayaka was speaking to both Nova and Jacob on this.

Jacob blinked his eyes and nodded at Ayaka, she seemed like a nice girl but he wondered what she would think of him if she actually knew what he was.

He smiled at her Wolf who seemed playful yet the canine seemed to look intelligent it showed in its eyes.

"Okay,"

He smiled at her once again and followed her as he wondered what this school was like, he was excited to find out.

"Your hound seems quite intelligent it probably is playful but animals tend to act odd around me at times so I am sorry if that happens again!"

Jacob said this lightly and looked down at Rikami.

"This is my first time here although a distant relative has been to a school similar to this one, he was-ugh much more aggressive than I am although he is my second cousin yet-"

He stopped himself and shook his head shaking off the evil thoughts that plagued him and whispered to him they said to do unspeakable things but he was strong and shut them out.

"Understand me when I say this because I must explain it now but you must know I am not the purest of heart and soul!"

He smiled lopsidedly looking slightly saddened.

"I would explain more but I will talk with whoever is in charge here first who is in charge?!"

Jacob asked Ayaka.

Ayaka walked with Jacob and Nova back to the castle. Jacob seeming to be the one doing most the talking. She had Rikami walking beside her. Skye flew ahead of them and waited in the main entrance for them. "He's usually more behaved than this too, but I'm sure I'll know soon enough why he suddenly acted up. Skye said he was acting a bit odd before he left my room, but I didn't have time to think about what she meant by that." Seeing as how she planned to catch him when she got off the spiral staircase. At least she saw him, though.

She figured that he liked to talk given how much he was talking having just met her. Of course, it didn't look as if he was talking with Nova when she got outside. While typing out a text on her phone she listened to Jacob speaking. The text was for the headmistress to let her know that Rikami found that were two more students.

He already knew this was a school? Ayaka hadn't even got to explaining that yet. Well the biggest question he seemed to have was who is in charge. She wasn't sure on Nova yet though. There really was something odd about him. Jacob practically stopped himself mid sentence for some strange reason. "Do you just enjoy being mysterious or what?" Ayaka asked him laughing slightly, but not expecting any form of answer.

"I let Lady Violetta know the two of you are here, though usually she knows when someone arrives late." She asked the grand doors to open and walked inside knowing Nova and Jacob will follow. "She should hopefully be coming here herself now, though she might be busy.."

[Aisling]

"There are students on the Fall...... 2 I believe and that will fill the floor..... Please attend to them while I finish looking around here. Thanks." Lady Violetta spoke to Thomas who nodded his agreement.


Thomas walked out and down to the main floor. As he approached the Grand Doors, they opened for him. upon seeing Ayaka with two new students, he smiled at her than spoke in his warm voice
"Thank you Ayaka. I appreciate the fact that you took the initiative of answering the Fall Call. I'll handle it from here. Welcome to Caldwell's Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts. My name is Thomas Skywalker and I am the Head of the Draconic Arts. I hope that neither of you is hurt but if you are, I can heal what ever it is. May I have your names?"

Jacob happy to comply with Thomas nodded and spoke up.

"My name is Jacob Black it is nice to meet you Mr. Skywalker I am glad that I need no healing!"

Jacob flashed another smile as he introduced himself to Thomas who seemed quite warm and friendly.

He tried not to seem to odd to the man except he was sure that the man knew exactly what he was when he spoke.

Jacob simply waited to see a reaction on the mans face or even the slightest hint of discomfort, which he took much joy in paying attention to when he met someone.

"Draconic arts that seems quite interesting although I have never quite taken a liking for dragons I tolerate them and see them as a useful companion and at times maybe a good friend"

Jacob said to Thomas.

While Damian listened to the explanation given by Mystique and looked around, he thought: "There are some people I haven't even seen earlier here. Huh, must be because they are 'falling in' a little later, like me. Ah well, as long as it doesn't get too crowded, I won't get too nervous." He was uncertain of what to do next, so he kinda waited for someone else to make a move.

Crashing into the young men and telling him how sorry I was. , while noticing a white and grey running at full speed towards us, getting ready for the impact, I position myself in a Ready stand for the dog, only to feel nothing but the playful laughs of barking and a girl running after the dog.
“I guess that girl is the owner of the animal” I mumbled to myself, trying not to get licked by the animal.
Turning my head a little she looked back at the girl whom still with both hands on the dog’s collar and with a dragon flying around her.
" Did you say that your name is Ayaka, Jake and the dog name was Rikami?” asking both of them, not hearing from all the barking going on in the background. walking with her two new friends, one dragon and one dog, they approached two doors that looked like the main castle doors, upon looking up at the stranger.
“She must be the Headmistress or principal of the school.” noting to myself. Before anyone had spoken a word, I moved a little bit ahead of the other two.
“My name is Nova Terra? And did you say that this was a school? Can I ask what kind of school?” asking the Headmistress of Caldwell's.

Thomas smiled as he once again spoke the name of the academy.
"This is Caldwell's Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts. That young lady is Ayaka, one of our Level Two students here. She is in both Courses and doing very well. Please come inside and I'll get you somewhat caught up with the rest of the students here. We now have ten students counting the two of you. These are the Grand Doors to the Academy." Thomas spoke as he led the the new students inside.

"This is my office and that is Lady Violetta's Office. She is the head of the Academy but she is busy elsewhere at the moment. Follow me past Grandfather Hall Clock who snoozes quite often but is a warm being when he is awake. This is the Infirmary which hopefully we won't need. All of the doors here slide to one side so that there is no wasted space.

In this area is the Dining Room, Student Lounge and the Floating Spiral Stairway which I will teach you how to use soon. Through this door please.... This area is called the Classroom Area. We have one classroom and one lab plus the Lecture Room. I'll start by handing out your boxes." Thomas spoke as he put on his gloves.

"All the time that we have at the moment is to Imprint the Equipment that you will use." Thomas spoke as he gave each of them boxes.
"The first box will contain a robe and an Equipment Belt. Please put the on. Next will be a cell phone in that box which will have your room number on it. The last thing will be your PLTs. Once you have Imprinted it by placing your two hands on the side screens, you will see a questionaire come up. Please complete it. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I know that you are being rushed through all of this but you don't want to miss out on the trip to the Village for Free Day."

While they were still walking toward the castle, Ayaka told Nova that she heard all three names correctly.

In the main entrance, it didn't take Thomas long to appear. It seemed that Lady Violetta was busy with something after all. "Not really a problem at all. I wouldn't have known anyone was there if Rikami hadn't acted the way he did though." Thomas went on to welcome the two of them to the academy right away.

She walked with them while Thomas was giving them the tour before getting to the Lecture Room.

-Rikami, did you sense something from Jake? Is that why you acted up?- As weird and mysterious as he was, Ayaka still needed to know what prompted her pet to misbehave.
-I knew there was someone else on the fall, but I was worried that the headmistress and Thomas hadn't sensed it. I still continued to play with Skye though, but then I sensed something different about one of them. He even smells different.- Rikami told her.
-You seemed ready to play when I found you. Geez Rikami. Sense something off about someone, then promptly wanted him to play. Though yeah, he's weird.-
-Couldn't help it. You know how playful I am.-

Ayaka had walked to the spiral staircase during her conversation with her frost wolf. Skye of course followed her. She had quietly left the room, not wanting to interrupt Thomas. Knowing Nova and Jacob will eventually find themselves in the Village as well, she went ahead and asked the staircase to take her there. "Well you two, I've been allowed to get you both a new friend." Ayaka was talking to Skye and Rikami here.

Rikami started jumping around and barking happily. "Rikami, you're going to end up tangling your leash...."
-He's this crazy when you aren't in the room too.-
-Can it be a cat, like Ember?-

Rikami wants a feline friend? Ayaka would have first thought he'd want another canine to play with.

following Thomas around the areas, as he explained the different areas. i noticed the box that he had handed me. with all our equipment. The first box will contain a robe and an Equipment Belt. the next item in the box was a cell phone with number '9'. putting on the Robe and equipment, while catching up to Ayaka.

"Red, ready?"

A tall, somewhat built youth squares up. He was very light-skinned, and had medium-length, bleach blonde hair. He wore an all black martial artist's gi, with his hands bound inside red MMA gloves, with matching red chestpads and sparring headgear. His eyes narrowed, and he nodded at the referee as he stared at his opponent, who was nervously bounding on his toes.

"Blue, ready?"

As the referee called out the color for his corner, the somewhat lithe and small Egyptian boy by the name of Asif took in a meditative breath. With his eyes closed, he lowered himself down into a combative stance, with his right foot stepped just ahead of his left. His dress was a black, sleeveless gi top and white, somewhat baggy gi pants. All of his gear, corresponding with his opponent on the Red side, was colored blue. As his eyes slowly opened, he measured his larger opponent. In the stands all around the sparring mats, the friends and families of the two were all cheering on, and as Asif finally acknowledged the referee, all seemed to go silent.

"On my mark, 60 seconds. Headshots allowed. Round One - BEGIN!"

Both competitors circled, and then combat had ensued through a flurry of kicks and blows from both sides!

With a silver trophy in his hands, Asif began wandering the halls of the local gymnasium that had just finished hosting an international martial arts tournament. He had changed out of his martial artist's wear, and now, a black hoodie, with the hood pulled over a baseball cap on his head, and golden oriental designs along the lower half as it lead towards dark blue cargo shorts, was his attire. The boy's head hung rather low, having once again given up 1st place to Marcus O'Sullivan, the now two-time champion of the youth martial arts league from Ireland. Asif had let his parents know that he was going to stay back to help clean up. He could just walk home, as this gymnasium was only a short distance from his family's house.

Being lost in thought, he hadn't noticed how he accidentally had walked into one of the storage rooms. Finally taking note of the dim light, he'd look up and scan his surroundings. It seemed this particular room was used for old decorations from the gym's owner's home. Many old, dusty pieces of furniture and paintings were layed about. However, a peculiar panting was propped upright in the back corner. Asif set his gym bag down and placed his trophy on top of it. He was known to be very curious, and his curiosity struck him once more as he knelt infront of, and studied the painting. An old castle of some sort was all he could make of it. He couldn't tell what the plaque at the bottom read. It was scratched and tarnished beyond legibility. However, he did lean forward to try to sweep away some of the dust from the painting. Something was odd. It should have been solid. He should have touched it by now. Instead, he found himself falling through it! Falling through the painting, and then an ethereal dreamscape it seemed. He closed his eyes... And when he opened them, he would find himself laying face down, his surroundings that of an odd, grassy field he had never seen before...

Elizabeth had taken a bit of bread and spread some butter over it with a simple kitchen butter knife made of a simple plastic. She took a bite out of it, and its flavor was commonplace, mediocre and second-rate, yet bearable. She took several more bites until she had finished her snack. It had appeared necessary for her to down such a product due to the smallness of her breakfast. With her stomach filled to a more acceptable amount, she headed away from this snack hall and back to the main hall.

There were new students appearing. They were coming at a fast rate, just as they had when she had arrived at the Academy. That time felt quite distant from what was now. If the new students were as embracing of the new world as she had been, and threw off the shackles of the old world, they would soon feel distant from their old past. However, Elizabeth doubted such an event would occur rapidly, as even her own classmates were as far along. Elizabeth was special in this.

Thomas was, as usual, greeting the new students. She would probably say her greetings to them, and wish them the best of luck. It was all that she could do for them. They would excel or fail on the basis of their own virtue and initiative. She could only hope that she would meet the good ones, and perhaps befriend them, for then maybe she might discover someone to distract herself from the drudge of daily academic life.

Thomas heard another student land on the Fall.
"I must go and check on the last student that just arrived. Find Ayaka, Elizabeth or Mystique. Anyone of them can guide you to The Village....wait a minute. Lady Violetta, these are new students and there is one that just landed on the Fall. Would you like to take care of one of them?" he asked.

"I'll greet the last one. Go ahead and take care of these two. Thank you, Thomas." Lady Violetta smiled at the new students as she left to greet the new one on the Fall. She hurried out the doors to see a young man laying on the ground.

"Good day, young man and welcome to Caldwell's Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts. My name is Lady Violetta and I am the Headmistress here. I do hope that you are not hurt but if you are, I can heal you quicker than you think." she spoke to the new student.

"Elizabeth, would you please demonstrate to Nova and Jake how to use the Floating Spiral Staircase, please?" Thomas asked with a smile.

"Very well, Mr. Skywalker," Elizabeth said. "Over hear you will find the aforementioned Floating Spiral Staircase. It is powered by magical current. At the bottom of the spiral is placed a control panel, in which you may control the flow of the magical current in such a way as to actually move the staircase. Hence, it is a floating staircase. On the control panel, there is a map of the academy, currently focused on the first floored, with a dot to indicate where the staircase currently is. Simply click to where you wish to go on the map, and it will take you there. If you require something more direct, there is a joystick bellow the map, where you can control it manually."

The boy slowly crawled up to his feet, brushing off his clothing, and fixing the hood and cap that covered over his head. He looked around a good, long moment, taking in the sights to behold. He almost didn't even seem to notice the woman who had approached him, his thoughts racing around a million questions, before he regained his baring. He'd straighten up and take in a deep breath, his soft and sleepy hazel eyes meeting the woman's own gaze.

"Uhm... Hello, ma'am." He's speak in a smooth, nearly feminine voice. He'd try to extend his right hand forward for a greeting, but it seemed his arm would hang somewhat limply at his side. As he looked down and patted at his right arm with his free hand, the sudden realization of a break seemed to instantaneously send a shock of pain through his body. "Ahhchk... Seems I did hurt something after that... That fall." His gaze shied away from the woman, somewhat in pain, but more-so in embarrassment at showing such weakness in a first greeting. "Forgive my manners. My name is Asif. Asif el-Amin."

"Welcome to Caldwell's, Asif" Lady Violetta spoke as she sent a healing spell to his right arm that was obviously hurt.
"Please come inside and I'll set you up with your new equipment. Do you have any idea of which course you would like to do? Perhaps even both? Many classes are shared." Lady Violetta spoke as she led the way to the Grand Doors.
"Perhaps you have a few questions to ask?"
