@Tyki @metagros @kishin asura @Wraithblade6 While this was all well and good, a interuption occurs when Klonos, a towering woman clad in steel armor clears her throat, the force of her clearing her throat denoting her attempting to get the attention of everyone there at the moment. Even Ark, who had arrived with weapons drawn, looking for a fight was even asked for his attention.
"...Now then. We've had a rough patch, to be sure. With these strange cosmic events going on, I've decided it would be best for us to stay on this planet, help improve the technology of the locals, and set up an actual defense, in case the chaos arrives...." She begins, before, behind her, a large inactive screen flickers to life. On it, is shown a figure clad in the shadows, only their robotic hand on the arm of their chair visible.
"Ohhh, trust me, the chaos are the least of your worries~" The person says, their voice distorted by some sort of artificial distorter. Klonos spins around to see who was speaking, only for an explosion to rip though the wall she turned to face. Shrapnel fills the goddess, and many of the soldiers behind her, them forming a wall between the explosion, and our heroes. As no doubt, many of our heroes went to attempt to halt the explosion with magic, only to find that within the shrapnel, was odd bits of metal, a strange metal that disrupted their abilities! Even with their magical powers, they'd be nearly helpless to stop the explosion that would rip into their allies.
"Well, call me a fortune teller....Kiehehehehehehehehehe! I do hope this was as entertaining for you all as it was for me, especially you, Kishie!~ I'll be seeing Maka rather soon...I'll make sure to keep myself, and her, entertained for quite a while, seeing as how she must be bored all alone....Chaio!" Says the distorted voice, before it goes silent. Many of the clones are standing up, reeling from the explosion. The goddess turns around, Shrapnel stuck all though out her. She takes in a deep breath, before laughing a little. "...I.....feel....fine..." She says. One rather large spike of twisted metal lodged into her brain may have something to do with that, to be honest. Medics rush into the room, and trend to the wounded, including taking the goddess to an operating room....but, Asura notices something, out of everyone. One of the medic's, their soul, it's strange...and..oddly familiar....a warm, gentle yellow....maybe he knew them?...no...wait....uppon closer look, something even more shocking could be seen....
This person had more than one soul.......
