In Character Info:

Throughout history one group of warriors have inspired fear beyond levels most can comprehend. Empires raise and fall about them, a history spanning thousands of years and yet the sands of time have not taken them. When they come be it in small groups or large hordes those caught in their path quake in their boots. They descend down upon planets from the heavens above with the fury of krayt dragon, in the heat of the battle they become the fearless avatars of war and conquest. Entire cities and years of culture destroyed in mere hours, priceless artifacts and brilliant silks destroyed and rendered to ash by either vibroblade or blaster. Those souls left to defend these cities were cut down whether they stood and fought, or ran for their lives. They were hunted down as prey through the streets, alleys, through buildings and in the sky. The inevitable end of a prey in the hunt to die at the hands of the hunter. And when it was all over, and the city that they had laid siege to stands in ruins... they leave just as they had came. They leave behind smoldering ruins and streets still ankle high with congealing blood. These warriors bonded together by a culture forged in the flames of combat are known in their language as the Mando'ade, the children of Mandalore. To the rest of the world they are known as the Mandalorians.

The Republic is like a stuck bantha; it lays bleeding on the ground as the predators begin to swarm to harvest on its corpse. Over a hundred years of corruption, greed and insolence has left the republic weak. Barely able to stand on its two feet, to keep order in the whole galaxy was unthinkable. It was only a matter of time before someone deiced that it was time to put them out of their misery. That someone would be a Taung whose title would send memories of fear and destruction through the galaxy for years to come, they called him Mandalore the Ultimate. This new leader was not just a skilled warrior, no he was charismatic and very knowledgeable of the ways of the galaxy. Under his rule warriors of all species and all backgrounds flocked to his call and underneath him he christened a new generation of Mandalorians known as the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders. Tired of their failures in the Great Sith War, they put aside their old nomadic raider tradition, and instead adopted a new more modern way of discipline and tactics. And little did the greater galaxy know the trouble that was ahead of them. As the Mandalorians no longer destroyed cities and planets, they conquered them and they did it with an iron fist.

Mandalore the Ultimate's prowess as a warrior was only matched by his aspirations and desires. If he was to be forever remembered by the annals of history he would have to kill the greatest foe of them all, the Galactic Republic. This desire was easily manipulated by outside forces and so a new crusade would begin, a new war was to be had and the Republic would fall. Thus began the Mandalorian Wars, a period of 16 years from 3976 BBY to 3960 BBY in which a mere two decades after the Great Sith War the galaxy was once again thrown into darkness and conflict. One side the Mandalorian's the torch bears intent to burn away the decay of the Republic and reforge the galaxy ad those that would stand against them those that desperately wanted to preserve the old ways. It will be a time that will give birth to heroes, villains and even grander stories all forged in the crucible of war.

Our story begins in the year of 3962 BBY in a period of time that would be known as the Mandalorian Triumph. The Neo-Crusader under Mandalore the Ultimate's orders easily crushed the resistance that was put up against them in the Outer Rim. Numerous planets fell to the warriors pounded into the ground until all resistance lay silent: Althir, Cathar, Vanquo, Serroco, Jebble, Taris, and more none where spared from their wrath. Following these easy victories it was deiced that it was time to strike at the heart of the Republic, if the war was to end in Mandalorian victory than the core worlds had to fall. Thus a two prong attack was organized to force their way into the Core Worlds and thus the offensive began. The Mandalorian Triumph would be the last Mandalorian push into Republic controlled space, they would reach no further. They did not know it but in a way they were composing their last great epic before their eyes. Though they did not think of this they only thought of an old saying. Ib'tuur jatne tuur ash'ad kyr'amur, Today is a good day for someone else to die...

Out of Character Info:

Welcome to Brothers All, as you may have guessed this is a story about Mandolorians. This idea came into fruition rather recently as I had just done another run through KOTOR I & II and remembered how much I loved Canderous Ordo, the must bitchin Mandalorian Mercenary turned Mandalore in the galaxy. So while listening to him recite his war stories, I realized that may be a pretty cool RP and so here we are. Our characters will be shock troopers as part of the greater Neo-Crusader Force, usually the first in and last out when it came to planet side engagements. This position is one filled with great honor and yet at the same time near suicidal at best most of the time. Sent in before the main invasion force to soften up the defenses and clear away landing zones they are some of the best the Mandolorins have to offer. They are made up of warriors of different ages, species and background but they are all good at what they do.

The story itself concerns itself not just with the conflicts in a period of some of the most brutal fighting of the war, but dances about with some philosophical themes as well. The main idea that pumps through the RP though is of course this idea of Honor. Honor, be it the loss of honor, the gain of honor, the meaning of it and how it effects people. The Mandalorian way of life is built around honor, they fight to better themselves and to achieve honor and glory, warriors of all kinds flock to them why? For a chance at glory, a chance at honor. They fight the republic because they do not have honor, to them the republic is weak and old. The overarching "bubble" of honor permeates its way into our characters as well as you see fit. Yet themes of death, loss, glory, pride they all will come into play as well. But you know explosions and combat will be a big part as well.

There is a plot and a way forward that will be effected by player actions to certain key activates, activating and closing certain "branches" you may call them. Though how the story begins is already set forward. The team is getting drop in at Eres III to clear a path forward into the Core Worlds. We do not know much about the battle except that the fighting was heavy and the devastation was very high, which kind of gives us a blank check to start making our own little story. To Eres III and beyond who knows where this story is going to take us? Who knows. What I do know is that it is going to be one hell of a ride.

BIOGRAPHY
Prudii's father died during a job when he was 7. At age 15 his mother died in a robbery gone wrong at the cantina she worked at on Mandalore. He was now left with no family and nothing to do here. He stole a ship from the MandaMotors shipyard, and left Mandalore looking for mercenary work. He helplessly squandered four years doing cheap gigs robbing, killing, and smuggling until at age 17 he began to take higher profile jobs. . Finally coming out of the drunken stupor at age 21 he decided to hone his skills and become a hunter that could hunt other hunters.

Prudii began working for the highest bidder, assassinating, hunting, killing, stealing, repurposing, the likes. During this time he had extensive dealings with the Hutt Cartel. During this time he became extensive in Hutteese.

Prudii currently does mercenary, high skill work for the highest bidder.

PERSONALITY
Prudii, the real Prudii - deep inside the layers, the walls, the shell and the armor is a mystery wrapped in an enigma. Suffering a traumatic experience early in life with the loss of his parents he spent much of his teenage life in ever present emotional pain. This lead to coping mechanisms to prevent pain from occurring again, and to keep him safe. He developed the personality that he displays to the rest of the world. A cold, callused individual with little care for anyone or anything. He keeps most things pent up, which causes him to have a smoldering hate and short temper most of the time. He is rash, brash, rude, and abrasive to most of those around him. He knows his limits however. He knows authorities he can push it with, and authorities he cannot. Hutts however, he shows due respect to. Prudii understands and respects the way that the Cartel operates. Soldiers and mercenaries trade their pride and respect to the Hutt in exchange for a sliver of their fortune. As long as he gets paid Prudii is okay with that. He holds people that fuck up, especially make stupid fuck ups, in low regard. He is belligerent and intolerable of error and mistake. He holds no respect for business people and politicians. The lack of respect he holds for many is not often shown however. Prudii is good at masking his feelings and opinions outwardly to show respect so he can get what he needs. He is very unforgiving, though he again, might not show this. His revenge or punishment can come as long as decades after the offense. Prudii is slow to let people in through the layers of aggression, callousness into the damaged inside, but it has been known to happen. This is very dangerous for him though, because should someone that he has chosen to let in leave, hurt him, or die, it is devestating to him. Prudii has been known to deal with depression and thoughts of suicide at points in his life, but this is unknown to any.

Appearance: Russ stands at just under six feet and weighs in at a feather under one hundred kilograms. He is built for both speed and power favoring neither over the other instead using them to bolster the other where one alone would fail. His muscles are taut from years of hard training under a harsh drill instructor. He has pale red hair, just slightly to dark to call strawberry blonde. His hair is buzzed short along the sides of his head and cropped closely to his skull along the top. His eyes are startling pools of blue and often glitter with humor, as morbid as it may be at times. A dark still healing jagged scar sits under his fight eye and when he removes his armor there are obvious signs of past battles and reckless charges. The marred flesh telling of not so near miss blaster bolts and vibroswords.

Skills and Abilities

Skills and abilities:
Close combat adept: Russ has favored close combat training far above all else, once he is in blade distance of an enemy he is a blur of blade and blaster fire utilizing short bursts of his jetpack to leap between enemies.

Weapon Specialist: Favouring both sword and blaster in unison makes Russ somewhat of an oddity among Mandalorians, but it seems to work for him as he guns down those out of reach of his blade. Lessening the chance of him being shot while closing slightly.

Trained ambidexterity: Not naturally gifted like some Russ trained for many years to be able to use both hands near flawlessly in combat. Favoring the use of a heavy blaster pistol in one hand and a Vibroblade in the other.

Jetpack Joyride: Russ favors intense face to face combat, and has learnt through much trial and painful error to close rapidly with his enemies using short bursts of his jetpack.

Equipment

1x Heavy Mandalorian blaster pistol: Used in conjunction with his vibroblade this is a deadly weapon in the hands of a master albeit with limited range.
1x Custom short vibroblade: A shorter than average vibroblade that is built as much for thrusting as it is for slashing. The blade is dark crimson with the grip being pitch black.
1x Wrist mounted flamethrower: It only has a few seconds worth of fuel, but when you are surrounded and desperate it is very useful.
2x Plasma grenades: Great for sowing chaos and breaking enemy formations before dropping from above to engage in close combat.
2x Anti Vehicle shaped charges: Small shaped charges designed to punch a hole in the hull of enemy armored vehicles. Requires nerves of steel to attach under fire.
1x Suit of customized Mandalorian plate: Initially he wore a standard suit of Mandalorian plate straight from the forge and slowly began to change it over the course of the war. Some of the more cumbersome parts of the armor have been stripped away leading to more freedom of movement at the cost of some protection. This soon resulted in his armor slipping from the norm, until it began to isolate him from his brothers. Eventually upon joining the shock troopers he was granted a new suit of experimental armor to compliment his fighting style. Armor made of lighter and more flexible metal. The vitals are still heavily protected, although some of the armor joints are still at risk due to the lighter metal. It is colored in well polished silver, with some red and black trimmings slowly being added over the course of the war. One of the shoulder cauldrons is scarred with neat lines, a kill tally of all those Russ has vanquished in combat. It will soon be time to start on the other.

History

Russ was born a Mandalorian, both of his parents coming across to the way shortly before Mandalore the Ultimate's recruiting drive. Both of them had been mercenaries slogging through some of the most brutal battles of the Great Sith War.After seeing what Mandalorians were capable of during the war and their way of life, they joined straight after the war. they rapidly adjusted to life among the Mandalorians. They were his first instructors in what it meant to be Mandalorian and what it really meant to wage war.

His training began as soon as he was old enough to walk and hold a blaster, his parents taking him out and teaching him the basics. What end to touch, how to reload and finally how to fire. One year later he was fluid with the blaster his movements practiced and smooth, knocking down the small targets his family would put up around the family home. That training soon bridged into other forms of combat training, how to defend yourself using only your fists and wits, the basics of using a sword.

Of course it was not only his body that was trained and conditioned, but his mind as well. Whenever he was not exerting his body he was exerting his mind. Learning the weapons and tactics of the powerful groups of the galaxy, what is truly meant to be Mandalorian seeking honor and glory in the chaos of battle. That family, clan, armor and honor was all their really was in the world that was truly worth pursuing.

It was years that only seemed like days to the young boy, time gone all to fast before he first began official instruction. Placed by his parents under a harsh drillmaster, a drillmaster that would teach him not just how to fight for himself but to fight as a unit. Lessons he struggled with as his own drive to succeed above all else often put his squadmates at risk. Eventually some of the lessons began to sink in after days of bruising and broken bones, of heady highs of success and depressing lows of failure. But that spark always remained, the need to always be ahead of the pack. The need to be the best and to always be victorious. Things truly had changed under Mandalore the Ultimate, training like this all together learning from each others mistakes. The new Mandalorian way of life.

He was first sent to the front at the age of 16, fresh faced and eager for glory on the battlefield. Facing the reality of war, even some born Mandalorians faced a sharp reality check. The carnage, the blood, the smell of war new to even the most trained young warriors. He was not one of those people, he reveled in the battle. Light dancing in his eyes as his vibroblade cut through his foes, as his blaster pistol nearly tore the heads from his enemies.

Over the next few years of bloody battles and brutal campaigns the young warrior hardened, his body becoming even more taut and ready for war his appetite for war never abating only growing as the victories mounted. Of course the experience came at a price as his squad was slowly whittled down over time, many of them being people who had served with him shoulder to shoulder since the long years of bootcamp. Unable to keep up with the brutal pace of war, or the often borderline reckless leaps into danger that Russ favored. His all or nothing tactics often leading to victory for his allies and death for his closest comrades. In the quiet times the losses sometimes weigh heavily on his mind.

His tenacity and thirst for combat did not go unnoticed by his superiors as his actions often won the day albeit at high personal cost to him and his squad. This eventually lead to him being handpicked by a meeting of rally masters to replace one of the casualties of the elite shock trooper squad known as Mynock squad.

For the last couple of years Russ has served eagerly in the squad, his love for close battle not dimming despite the numerous wounds and close calls. Often willing to jump in first, risking himself rather than bring danger down upon any of the other members of his squad. If there is ever a call for volunteers for a mission his is often the first hand raised. To be able to fight besides brothers and sisters of like mind and equal or superior skill is all he could ask for in this life and the next. After all Aliit ori'shya tal'din (Family is more than Blood.)

He often has a wry smile on his face and a sarcastic quip at hand to keep morale up amongst the squad even in the bloodiest campaigns or the dullest moments of downtime. He is prone however to deep bouts of introspection as he thinks over past battles and those lost.

Psychology report

Russ is a born and bred Mandalorian, something that people usually attest to people being terse later in life. Russ learnt the exact opposite lesson. He learnt in his time at bootcamp to try and keep things lighter, to keep the morale up amongst his comrades. Often at his most glib when things are truly at their most horrific. He obviously has a deep and abiding love for his fellow Mandalorians brother and sister alike as well as a strong respect for any truly worthy warriors. He is prone to micro bouts of depression in times of quiet, as thoughts of those lost and mistakes he has made wash over him. Mistakes that have cost close allies their lives. he fights on through the war largely because of his devotion to the Mandalorian way of life and to uphold the Resol'nare. He also finds great joy in battle, always seeking the next great Adrenalin rush as he plunges head first into combat.

At our current juncture we have but one character sheet that I have not had a chance to look over yet. Currently we have seven people plus me that we have expressing interest, a little bigger than expected but depending on CS quality you never know everybody might get accepted, I don't turn down good characters, don't you know. So I would love to accept everybody that has expressed interest but to do that everybody's CS must be smashing! So sir if you can produce a smashing CS I'll be more than happy to have which goes for everybody else don't worry about spots filling up worry about impressing me. :D

Yeah you can just edit it to say N/A for now. And now it is time for some comments, while I have a second to spare.

First and foremost the character template for this RP is designed in the way it is to avoid clutter and keep things nice and simple. My first issue is you did not follow this character template which speaks to problems that may or may not come up in the future based on following rules and such I don't know yet. I understand you were adapting another sheet which also has some problems I prefer all the characters in the RP to be fresh, but that does not excuse you from the template.

The other big problem right in the front is his armor. The Jango Fett style of armor was not really seen in Mandalorian Culture until about a millennial after the Mandolorian wars. Their armor instead looked like this.http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/File:MandalorianArmorKotORCG.jpg For those of you unfamiliar shock trooper armor is the one all the way on the left. The Jango Fett style that inspired the clones evolved from the shock trooper armor over hundreds of years later. So he really wouldn't have that type of armor yet for it would be a blatant disregard for history.

Appearance just listing all the parts of the appearance in a list doesn't work I'm sorry, it is supposed to be in a well written paragraph for a reason, so I can see how you write. Another reason why you are supposed to follow the template.

Also he can't be a merc either, Mandalorians didn't hire mercs during the wars because it was their war hiring mercs would be going against their entire culture. If you were fighting with the Mandalorians you were a Mandalorian and nothing else. It was your job, your life and your duty it was there everything.

1.5 Million Credits is another big issue here. The Mandalorians during this time as I should say the Neo-Crusader didn't have salaries or anything like that everything was basically provided for them because they were a military and funded and fueled like one. They didn't have to worry about buying things because they took what they needed.

Attributes and abilities are all wrong as well. Did you even look at the character template or my CS? It is there to follow that as an example so you do it right. You list an ability and its explanation of why they have the ability and how it useful and then go down a list in order of potency. You don't fill out bars upon which don't really tell us much about the skills or even how skillful they are based on them.

You have problems in your Equipment as well most of the weapons you listed at least the primary ones did not yet exist. Most being from the rise of the empire era, meaning most were seen in the clone wars first. I provided in the useful links a list of all the weapons that existed back then so that they would be correct and we do not have this problem. Also with your armor firstly you don't have to least all the pieces and secondly as already stated Mando armor was standardized for the most part so unless there is something special about it like how @seriousarmour is experimental suit (which can be done since they are elites and get some of the new toys from the warforge) made of more lightweight material so putting protection aside for mobility yet keeping the same standard appearance (which is very important part of the Neo-Crusader way, the appearance helps unify them) there is no need to list it.

Next... transportation... I'm just going to ignore that in its entirety because A it is not part of template and B no it is just stupid they can't have their own ships.

All the miscellaneous stuff can go under Equipment once again to keep clutter down. Also data phones don't exist anyway they have comm links built into their suits so that makes those two items redundant to even list. No need to list a jetpack because they all have jetpacks like it was listed in the CS tab if you read it.

Biography... Really that is all you are going to say? Do you see how short that is and how I would have a problem with it? Do you see how it doesn't give the character any substance and doesn't go into detail and not really relent to this story or the Mandalorian Wars or how he joined the squad or anything that I asked for in the CS. Honestly its kind of crap.

Finally personality, sure that is fine that is the only thing that is okay.

I'm sorry to say this but your sheet as I've kind of pointed out it is filled with holes and problems. This is an Advanced Role play and my standards are not low. What you gave me belongs more in casual or free. Maybe if you read the rules and didn't automatically post in the character tab, or showed any kind of effort at all to work it to the template provide I would go easier on you and try and help. But you didn't, so in its current form all I'm going say is either rewrite it and impress me or go it is that simple. You are more than welcome to rewrite and try again but in its current form I cannot accept it.

Combat Role: Heavy Weapons

Appearance:
Ryleer is a rather muscular young Zabrak with a tanned skin color. He's a tall fellow, being around 6'5, and weighes in at around 250 pounds of pure muscle. As with most Zabrak he has a crown of horns on his head, and traditional tattoos all over his body. He has bright yellow eyes that almost glow in the dark which adds to his intimidating appearance. As with most of his race he has no facial hair, and has a bald, shaven head. He has several scars all over his body fitting a warrior of his standing. When out of armor, which is rare occasions, he wears very light clothling, with sleeveless tunics, and pants, and boots. He doesn't take to much time on his appearance.

Skills and Abilities:

• Shock Trooper - Ryleer is a beast on the battlefield. As with most Zabraks he's built for one thing, battle, being on the front lines. It also doesn't hurt that his species has two hearts, and a very high natural pain tolerence. He can take a beating, and dish one out ten fold. It's best to stay behind him when fighting alongside him.
• Hand To Hand Combat - Being from Iridonia Ryleer was trained from a very young age in their special, highly physical martial arts. He is an expert in hand-to-hand combat as per usual for his race.
• Explosives - He's good at rigging things to explode.
• Heavy Weapons - He knows his way around a blaster, and how to fix, and maintain them.

Equipment:

• Mandalorian Heavy Repeater - This rather heavy, and bulky blaster is his main weapon. He has heavily modified his to not only a better rate of fire, but also he increased it's accuracy. With it he can pretty much take on an entire squad of Republic Soldiers. It's very durable, and when in close range he'll often use it as a bludgeon.
• Mandalorian Blaster - This is his main sidearm. As awesome, and badass his heavy repeater is, it's rather bulky, and heavy. And sometimes things need a lighter touch. So that's where this beauty comes in.
• Thermal Detonators - He keeps several bombs on his person, at the very least ten when in battle.
• Mandalorian Shock Trooper Armor - Ryleer's armor is silver in color, showing that he is a vetern on the battlefield. His helmet was specially made by him to includes large spikes that houses his horns. His armor's gauntlets include different functions that would become common for bounty hunters in the future, including wrist mounted flamethrowers, and missles on each arm.

History:
Ryleer was born, and raised on harsh world of Iridonia for most of his childhood until he was a a pre-teen. The Zabraks who live there are characterized as being a tough, and hardy people. And Ryleer was no different. Seemingly since birth he was trained, conditioned to be a warrior like many of his people. But they weren't forced to do this of course, as the Zabraks value independance above all else. But Ryleer choose it. When he was a young child his mother died from a rather nasty flu that swept through the village, and this left him in the care of his father.

His father was, in polite terms, a trouble maker. He was a degenerate, a real scoundrel. He eventually got himself banished from Iridonia, and dragged Ryleer along with with him. His father stole them a starship, and spent the next several years traveling the stars. His father became a smuggler from then on. Traveling from system to system in a small starship didn't really sit well with the young Ryleer. He didn't like being stuck in the starship for most of the time, besides the occasional stop at a cantina of course.

But this all came to a head when he was around twekve years old. His father was running some supplies for the Mandalorians, off the books of course. But it turned out his father was tricking the Mandalorians. He was selling them faulty weapons, and equipment. He had hiddened it well, enough to pass any tests they had at for them. But he vastly underestimated the Mandalorians, and they found out his deceit.

Several of them fought with his father, and killed him. But his father somehow managed to kill one of them. The leader of this small group found a eleven year old Ryleer holding a blaster, ready to fire. This amused the warrior, and he decided that the young Zabrak should have a home. So he adopted Ryleer, whether he wanted to or not.

At first the transition was difficult, given that they did kill his father. But he came to a realization. His father was not an honorable man, and probably deserved his fate. After that he took to the Mandalorian lifestyle rather quickly, and easily, given the similar war-like culture he was used to.

Over the years he proved to be an adept warrior. He was put on the frontlines when he was around seventeen, and became quite the killing machine. He was transfered to varies squads, rarely staying there for more than a year before he was sent to provide heavy support to another. That was until he was assigned to Mynock squad. For some reason his superiors felt he was better suited there, and kept him around much longer than the other squads he was apart of.

Psychological Analysis:
Ryleer is the very definition of a Zabrak warrior. He is a proud, strong, and confident being. He has a strong sense of self-assuredness, and believes nothing is truly impossible. Ryleer is a dedicated, intense, and extremely focused warrior who's devoted himself fully to the Mandalorian way of life. He's extremely loyal, almost to a fault, and will follow any order without question, or hesitation. No matter what it is he's asked to do, if you want something done, he's the man to do it.

He can be quite stubborn, and has a single minded determanation to him. Indeed, he works best when he has a set goal in front of him, and will stop at nothing to get it done. He can be seen as somewhat arrogant as he'll freqently boast his achievements to his comrades with pride bordering on arrogance, and has a light air of superiority. But he doesn't think of himself as superior to anyone else, it's just within the Zabrak nature to boast such things.

Coming from a War-like people he is naturally a ill-tempered, and ill-mannered young man. But he knows his position, and acts with the upmost respect to his superiors, but he also demands the same respect from those that are of a lower rank than him. He's extremely protective of his brothers, and sisters in arms, and is easily willing to scarfice himself for them.

Oh thank Mother Mary and all things holy in this world of ours, a character sheet that actually follows the template! I almost lost hope in humanity for a moment there. Look at it! It is pretty and everything is where it needs to be, like how I designed it! You guys gotta understand, I don't ask for a lot here but I do at least ask for you to follow directions, read, have an understand of the English language above par, and at least put in a smudge of effort... but apparently that is too hard for some people. Anyway I'll read it over in just a tad to make sure everything is in order, but you have already gotten major bonus points from me for actually reading and following directions.
